What is this event about? In Pokémon GO, the “Way to Sinnoh” event is currently running. It started on Monday, February 19, 2024, at 10:00 AM and will continue until Friday, February 23, 2024, at 10:00 PM. Part of the event includes various legendary raid bosses that you can challenge and catch.
The special thing is that you can encounter a different legendary raid boss every day. And among them are really strong Pokémon for your team.
3 strong Pokémon for raids and one for the battle league
Which raid bosses are particularly worth it? 4 of the 5 raid bosses are among the best Pokémon you can have in specific areas. It starts with Darkrai on February 19, 2024. This Pokémon is one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO of the Dark type, so you should take the opportunity if you don’t have it yet.
On February 20, 2024, Cresselia follows. With this Pokémon, you will receive one of the best Pokémon for the Super League. Ideally, you should catch it during the raid hour which runs between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM on the respective days to receive the exclusive charge attack.
One day later, on February 21, 2024, you can encounter Vesprit in raids, which, however, has neither a particularly high relevance for raiding nor for the battle league. This Pokémon is only interesting for collectors who have not obtained it yet.
Heatran, which you can find in raids on February 22, 2024, is again really worthwhile for your raid teams. It is one of the best fire attackers in the game. Especially the exclusive charge attack, Lava Plume, which you can get if you catch Heatran during the raid hour, makes it an absolutely strong attacker.
The last legendary Pokémon that will be available as a raid boss during the event is Giratina (Altered Forme). This Pokémon is one of the best ghost attackers that you can have in the game. Here too, you should try to make use of the raid hour and snag the exclusive charge attack Shadow Force.
