This week, the Ghost Pokémon Shuppet is in the spotlight. Thus, the spooky season in Pokémon GO begins, which will be exuberantly celebrated with the Halloween event on October 24.

When does the Spotlight Hour run? It starts today at 6:00 PM local time. For one hour, you will find the Ghost Pokémon Shuppet everywhere.
What are the bonuses? Of course, many Shuppet will appear in the wild, and generally, the spawns are increased.
Additionally, there are double candies for sending Pokémon. You will get 2 candies instead of just one.
Is there Shiny Shuppet? Yes! Since the Halloween event in 2017, you can catch Shiny Shuppet. The chance is about 1 in 450. So you need to be lucky or click on several Shuppet.
Is the event worth it? Shuppet is a rather rare Pokémon and usually only appears at night outside of events. So those who had no luck during the last Halloween events or did not play will be pleased with this chance.
In terms of usability, Shuppet or its evolution Banette is not very interesting. Banette is a solid Ghost attacker, but there are significantly better alternatives.
