In Pokémon GO today, on March 7th, the Spotlight Hour with Eevee is taking place. There is a bonus that gives you more candies. We will show you everything about Shinies, bonuses, and the times of the event.
What kind of event is this? Every Tuesday evening, a Spotlight Hour starts in Pokémon GO. For 60 minutes, a selected Pokémon is the focus along with a bonus. Niantic usually sets the Pokémon and bonuses at the beginning of the month for the upcoming weeks. The bonus affects either XP, stardust, or candies.
Today, you will encounter the Pokémon Eevee from the first generation. It is a Normal type and has some cool evolutions.
Spotlight Hour on March 7th – Start, Bonuses, Shiny
When does it start? The event starts at the usual time at 6:00 PM local time. It will be active for one hour and ends at 7:00 PM.
What bonuses are there? During the event, you will find particularly many spawns of Eevee. It appears in the wild in many places. If you want, you can light a incense and get some additional Eevee spawns.
You will also receive double the amount of candies for sending Pokémon. This counts for all Pokémon you send during the event time.

Can you catch Shiny Eevee? Yes, the shiny form of Eevee has long been activated in Pokémon GO. Due to the wide range of evolutions, the Shinies are very valuable.
Is the Spotlight Hour worth it today? This event is particularly important for collectors. If you are still missing Shinies or looking for strong evolutions of Eevee, this event today is a good chance for that. Additionally, you need the various Eevee evolutions for level 42 in Pokémon GO.
Many trainers are already looking forward to this Spotlight Hour and hope to receive new Shinies. But keep in mind that the Shiny chances are not increased during the Spotlight Hours. So you have to rely on pure luck.
