In Pokémon GO will soon have another season change. A new find shows which events could await trainers in the 12th season. We at MeinMMO show you the clues and reveal what the trainers think about it.
Which season is it about? The current season called Hidden Gems
is coming to an end soon and will therefore be replaced by season 12. What this season will be like is officially still unknown.
After Niantic heated up the rumor mill itself with a trailer and promised new Pokémon from September, a data miner has now discovered the first clues about the upcoming community days and events of the new season in the game code. We have summarized what they are for you below.
Leak shows 9 events for September, October & November
What was found? As Reddit user seyibod721 shows in his post, the data miner Morningstar
has come across a number of upcoming events in the new season, especially focusing on the contents of the next community days.
So you can expect the following highlights in the months of September, October, and November in Pokémon GO:
- Community Day September with Mabula
- Festival of Lights with Blipp (a new Pokémon from the 9th generation)
- Psychic Spectacle with Monozyto at the end of September
- Research Day in September with Myrapla
- Community Day in October with Praktibalk
- Thanksgiving in October with Olini (a new monster from the 9th generation)
- Hatch Day in October with Azurill
- Classic Community Day with Voltilamm
- Community Day in November with Felino and Paldea-Felino
How reliable is the information? The data miner who discovered the new data is the Discord user Morningstar
. He had shared his finds about upcoming events in previous seasons and has been correct so far, as with the contents of the current season.
His information is therefore relatively reliable. However, since these are leaks, caution is still generally warranted, as these findings are not official and can therefore be changed by Niantic at any time.
However, the discovered events and Pokémon are quite plausible. Niantic announced just a few days ago that starting in September, Pokémon from the Paldea region should be in the game. This is also reflected in some of the events found. And the selection of themed events corresponds to those that have been in Pokémon GO in recent years.

What do trainers say about the findings?
Trainers celebrate the contents: In the community, the Community Day with Praktibalk is especially popular. This is because the monster has a strong evolution that is among the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
But the C-Day with Felino also fascinates some trainers. The prospects for the new Paldea Pokémon are largely well-received by players (via reddit.com).

Yes, I also caught a hundo [Praktibalk] last December. I made it my best buddy and leveled up its base form, but candies are very hard to get. I can’t wait for its Community Day.

Criticism of the findings: Others miss the annual Halloween event and Fashion Week in the list. Both are usually a big topic in the game in October. In addition, there is criticism of Hatch Day with Azurill.
After being able to catch Riolu in this format in July, many trainers do not believe that Azurill can compete, especially since its two evolutions can occasionally be found in the wild. Here’s what you can read in the comments (via reddit.com):

It’s just a Dex filler that I already filled. Marill has been featured in so many events, so this is really just about filling the Dex space for the shiny baby that I already happen to have. I won’t leave my house for a Hatch Day with Azurill.
