In Pokémon GO there is a new Community Day coming in August! But which Pokémon? The trainers get to decide.
When does the Community Day take place? The Community Day will be on August 16, 2026, from 14:00 to 17:00. So far, so familiar.
What is unusual, however, is that currently four Pokémon are up for selection, any of which could become the star of the event.
These are:
- Kleptifux
- Blipp
- Hefel
- Voldi
How do you vote? The voting takes place between May 30, 03:00 and May 31, 03:00. It will be held on the official Pokémon GO YouTube channel. Here, anyone can cast their vote.
But which Pokémon is worth the vote? Let’s take a look at the four monsters.
Kleptifux, Blipp, Hefel, and Voldi at a glance
What can be noted is that none of the four Pokémon are really useful when it comes to taking over gyms or defeating raids. In these disciplines, they do not rank among the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
Let’s take a look at the PvP:
- Kleptifux is irrelevant for PvP, Gaunux is currently … okay in the Super League.
- Blipp can also be forgotten, but its evolution Wampitz is a completely usable Pokémon in PvP. This is especially true in the Hyper League. It is probably the most useful monster in this quartet.
- Hefel and Backel can also be forgotten in PvP.
- Voldi and Bellektro are also currently irrelevant.
What else should be considered? Given the lack of playability of the monsters, it ultimately comes down to which Pokémon you find the coolest. Definitely keep in mind that the Community Day allows you to easily get the shiny version of the Pokémon – and Kleptifux and Voldi are not currently available as shiny, so there’s an opportunity to catch something new.
Which Pokémon will you choose? Let us know in the comments! Otherwise, there are already plenty of other dates lined up that are coming your way next month. Of course, a new season is also about to begin. And you can check out the highlights of the new season in Pokémon GO here.
