The release of Generation 6 in Pokémon GO is approaching. Data miners have now shown Pokémon and Shinys from the Kalos region that have been added to the game’s code.
What’s happening in Pokémon GO? Recently, the developers announced the largest update that the title has ever seen.
- Pokémon from Generation 6 are coming
- The level cap will be raised to level 50
- Seasons will start regularly
- The PvP will be revised
- Further gameplay changes will follow
In preparation for this major release, the developers have now made changes that are not yet visible in the game, but can already be seen in the code by data miners. In a graphic, the PokeMiners show what has changed.
Gen 6: New Pokémon and Shiny versions
Here is the find: On Twitter and Reddit, the data miners show their graphic with the new Pokémon from the Kalos region that Niantic added to the code. The PokeMiners have also included the Shiny variants in the graphic.
Keep in mind that this is a find from data mining. There is no guarantee that all these Pokémon will be available in Pokémon GO right at the launch of Gen. 6 or shortly thereafter.
It is also unclear when the Shinys will be released. We already know that these 17 monsters from Gen. 6 will be the first to arrive in the game.
There may be a few Shinys available right at the start, while others will be released during events like Community Days. But that is speculation.
When is Gen 6 coming? Starting from December 2, Generation 6 will appear in Pokémon GO. However, only a few Pokémon will find their way into the game initially. More will follow later.
