Attentive trainers have found changes in the data of Pokémon GO. And they could be quite interesting.
In Pokémon GO, data miners have found new so-called assets for monsters that are not yet available in the game. These assets are the graphics that a Pokémon uses in the game, for example, on the catch screen, in your Pokémon box, or in raids.
The graphics found include some of the strongest monsters that are not yet available in the game. However, before your anticipation gets too high, you should keep an important point in mind.
Specific Graphics Without Specific Information
For which monsters were graphics found? Among the found monsters are some strong ones that many of you are likely waiting for. This includes both Mega Evolutions of Mewtwo as well as the Mega Evolution of Metagross.
Once they are unlocked in the game, they are likely to be among the strongest attackers in Pokémon GO.
Graphics for additional monsters have also been found in the game. This includes, for example, the Mega Evolutions of Tohaido, Camerupt, and Ohrdoch.

When can I get the monsters in the game? The fact that the graphics for the monsters have already been added to the game does not mean that a debut of the Pokémon is imminent. In software development, it is common for such assets to be added to the project before they are actually used.
An accidental and premature upload of the new assets is also conceivable.
Since this discovery was made by data miners who scour the game’s code looking for changes, there are no official information from developer Niantic about the monsters yet.
This does not necessarily mean that a release of the found monsters is imminent. When exactly that will be the case and whether the Pokémon will appear in a few days or maybe even just in several months or even years is unknown.
So you should still prove patient and wait for the first official information about these monsters. After all, there were already the first hints about Mega Mewtwo in 2021.
