There are new Pokémon in Pokémon GO. We show you which eggs the Pokémon from the 2nd generation can hatch from.
Since yesterday, there is the possibility to obtain new Pokémon in the augmented reality game Pokémon GO. These monsters belong to the 2nd generation and can be hatched by trainers. In a video, Niantic introduced the new Pokémon. The baby Pokémon hatch from the various eggs available in Pokémon GO. We show you which monsters you can get from the eggs for 2KM, 5KM, and 10KM.
Pokémon GO: Eggs and Incubators
You get the eggs from various PokéStops. There, in addition to the usual loot like potions or Poké Balls, you also randomly receive eggs to hatch as rewards.
You can buy incubators in the Pokémon GO shop. You have one incubator with unlimited uses, but with additional incubators, you can hatch multiple eggs at the same time.
Pokémon GO: Egg List 2nd Generation Baby Pokémon
So far, there are 7 baby Pokémon confirmed by trainers in Pokémon GO. These are Pichu, Togepi, Magby, Elekid, Fluffeluff, Pii, and Kussilla. The confirmation for the 8th baby Pokémon Rabauz, which is part of the 2nd generation, is still missing.
Trainers have already discovered that the new Pokémon do not hatch from the same eggs. So far, there is no official confirmation from Niantic, only reports from various trainers. For your convenience, we have created an egg list for the 2nd generation.
These eggs are where the various baby Pokémon hatch from
Hatching Eggs in Pokémon GO
To hatch a Pokémon egg, tap the PokéBall in Pokémon GO to open the menu. Then tap on “Pokémon” and select “Eggs” at the top right. After that, you can choose which Pokémon egg you want to hatch.
It is not guaranteed that only the new Pokémon will come from the eggs now. It can still happen that you get a boring Caterpie or other Pokémon from the eggs.
Catch Christmas Pikachu
You have until the end of this month to catch a Christmas Pikachu. This little Pokémon wears a Christmas hat in the game and is also represented that way on the tracker. As Niantic reveals, you have until December 29 to catch this special Christmas sprite in Pokémon GO.
If you then evolve your Christmas Pikachu into Raichu, it will even keep its hat.
These are the most important Pokémon of the 2nd generation, which could soon be in the game.
