What kind of event is it? On the occasion of Halloween, a Halloween event takes place in Pokémon GO every year. This year it consists of two parts: Spooky Company and Scary Companions.
When does the Halloween event take place? The event runs from October 15, 2021, at 10:00 AM to October 31, 2021, at 8:00 PM local time. The two parts take place at the following times:
- Spooky Company: October 15, 2021, at 10:00 AM to October 22, 2021, at 10:00 AM
- Scary Companions: October 22, 2021, at 10:00 AM to October 31, 2021, at 8:00 PM
These are the bonuses for the Halloween event
As with every event in Pokémon GO, you can also expect numerous bonuses for the Halloween event. We have summarized them for you below:

New Pokémon for the Halloween event
In addition to the usual costumed monsters, there will also be a debut of the following Pokémon for the Halloween event:
Galarian Weezing
You can evolve this monster from Galarian Slowpoke starting from October 15, 2021, at 10:00 AM. To do this, you need to take it as your buddy Pokémon and catch 30 psychic-type Pokémon.
Irrbis and Pumpdjinn
The two monsters will celebrate their debut in the second part of the Halloween event. Irrbis is a Pokémon of the Ghost and Plant types. The pumpkin-like monster can evolve into Pumpdjinn.
This will be the first time there will be a new size mechanic. This means that they will have different sizes from S to XL. Accordingly, the monsters will also be visually represented in the different sizes.
Paragoni and Trombork
Two more monsters that will celebrate their debut in the second part of the Halloween event are Paragoni and Trombork. The Ghost and Plant-type Pokémon Trombork is the evolution of Paragoni. You cannot find Trombork in the wild during the event, but you can only evolve it.
