In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 there are again numerous killstreaks with which you can take down your opponents. Two players combined two killstreaks to create a mobile killing machine.
Here’s what the killstreaks are about: In CoD: BO6, you set three killstreaks that you can earn with points in the match. They assist you in the match by taking out opponents or revealing their location. These include, for example:
- The drone, which reveals enemy players on the minimap to the entire team
- The stationary turret, which automatically attacks and shoots enemies
- The remote-controlled charge – a small remote-controlled vehicle that explodes at the target location
- Aerial strikes that add damage to opponents from the air
You receive the killstreaks once you have collected enough points in a match – for example, through kills or by capturing and collecting objectives in BO6. The objectives include flags that you capture and protect or tokens that you collect. You can find an overview of all modes in BO6 here.
As soon as you reach a new prestige level in BO6, your unlocked weapons, perks, and killstreaks will be reset. You can find out more about the system in the video:
What have the players combined? In a video on Reddit, the user JoeZocktGames shows how two players combined the killstreaks remote-controlled charge and turret. They placed the turret, which is usually set in a fixed position, on the remote-controlled charge.
This allows them to drive around the map with the small vehicle and the turret, taking out opponents. So the stationary turret becomes a mobile turret controlled by the player via the remote-controlled charge.
“Let the players be creative”
What do other players say about it? In the Reddit post, many users discuss the wild combination of killstreaks. Some of them say they want to try it themselves. BuzzyBubble comments: “Sorry, but this is absolutely funny and brilliant. Let them cook.”
How unfair the combination of the two point streaks really is likely depends on the situation. dancovich writes in the comments: “The combination requires full coordination and someone who can get enough kills to earn a turret.”
1,000 points in the match are required for the turret. It then needs to be placed and driven around the map. Benti86 notes: “It might take at most 2 Semtex to destroy a turret. There is nothing even remotely OP about it.”
Others find the combination so funny that they wouldn’t even be mad about dying to a player character. “If I died because of this, I’d be too busy laughing to be annoyed. Let the players be creative,” writes JPSWAG37.
A larger problem for many players seems to be the colorful skins and death effects. However, there is a way to turn them off in the options. How this works is explained by MeinMMO in the following article: “That’s ridiculous” – Players of CoD Black Ops 6 are annoyed by colorful effects, but a setting can help
