A free demo on Steam in October sparked the interest of many players. Now, nearly a month later, it is being released.
What game is this about? We are talking about Strinova, a new hero shooter with anime visuals. From a third-person perspective, you fight in 5v5 matches against other players, using your hero’s unique abilities to your advantage.
In the meantime, there is also a release date: Strinova will be released on November 22, 2024, on Steam, in the Epic Games Store, and for mobile devices. By the way, the game is Free2Play, so trying it out costs nothing.

Tactically Versatile Dimension Change
At the Steam Next Fest 2024, there was already a free demo of Strinova. It was played by around 15,000 players simultaneously and was thus one of the most played demos of the fest.
What makes Strinova so special? The shooter stands out not only because of its anime look but also due to a unique gameplay mechanic. It is called “Stringification” and offers many tactical possibilities when used correctly.
Each character has two forms that you can switch between at will: your regular 3D form and a 2D form. Your clever use can turn a combat situation in any direction.
- If you use the 2D form near a wall, your character merges with it. However, you cannot shoot during this time.
- In the 2D form, you are as thin as paper and can thus pass through tight spaces.
- If you are in free fall, your character becomes a parachute and descends more slowly to the ground.
- The 2D form allows you to dodge enemy bullets if you are at the right angle to them.
At the moment, another demo on Steam is making waves. It is already receiving very good reviews from players, and it is only a prologue. You can read more about it here: Free game has already attracted 5,000 players and 92% positive ratings before release on Steam
