The quests from Crimson Desert often touch upon optional activities. The archery competition, however, brings many Pywel heroes to their limits. There is a simple trick.
Why is the archery duel so difficult? In the archery competition, you need to hit randomly popping-up targets before your opponent can land their arrow. Since you never know where the next target will appear, it usually takes a moment to aim the bow correctly and fire your arrow.
However, the competing NPC shooter seems to be able to operate without this human reaction time. Various players complain that they are hopelessly losing duels again and again. On Reddit, Dingaligaling shares their theory:
“Apparently, the system lag caused by Vsync and frame generation is the main reason why the NPCs are such sharpshooters. […] The bots have a massive advantage of half a second or more when aiming. This led them to hit the target the moment it becomes visible, giving the player virtually no chance to aim and hit first.”

What trick is there? With a short clip on Reddit, HellDrivers2 shows how to make the archery duels noticeably easier and that they have a great sense of humor.
First, they demonstrate how they casually take aim at the appearing targets, draw, and fire. All without superhuman reactions. However, their opponent seems to be hopeless. After a few seconds, the camera slowly pans to the right … and shows a cart that the player has parked right in front of their opponent. Genius! But see for yourself:
