A player lost both of his teammates permanently in Apex Legends on Xbox One after just 2 minutes and 15 seconds. Nevertheless, he continued to play and eliminated one squad after another, setting a new kill record.
This is how Tollis played: The streamer Tollis showed an amazing performance in his stream. After some rounds with friends and solo, Tollis managed to achieve several victories in Apex Legends.
However, one victory stands out. His record round starts at 1h 57min in the embedded video below. He is randomly matched with two teammates, the popular healer Lifeline and a Pathfinder. He himself played Wraith.
Both of his teammates are shot down in less than 2 minutes and shortly after they die permanently. Tollis cannot retrieve their banners to bring them back, which is why he plays the rest of the round alone.
In the round played alone, he still manages to get a total of 31 solo kills, thereby setting a new record on the console at that time. This has since been broken again according to Dexerto, but it was still valid.
How did he manage that? Tollis played tactically, by often intervening late in team fights. In his reddit thread about the record, he writes:
Just try to clean up a team fight between two teams. If you play 1v3, kill one opponent quickly, and when the others come to pick him up, that’s an easy double kill. If not, it gives you time to heal and kill a second [opponent].
In some of his clips, it is also visible how he eliminates several enemy squads solo. Good aiming and the right weapons seem to be the key.
What weapons did he use? The weapon loadout for the record round consisted of the Wingman pistol and the Peacekeeper shotgun. Both weapons can deal high damage with a single shot and are particularly deadly at medium and close range.
The Wingman is a pistol inspired by the Desert Eagle. With a skull crusher attachment, the damage for headshots is increased. The weapon also belongs to the top weapons in the tier list of the best Apex player in the world.
The Peacekeeper is the shotgun that made Dr DisRespect furious. It can deal devastating damage over short distances with relatively little spread, and with a precision choke, it can even tighten its shots at medium range.

What do you think about the spectacular victory?
By the way, Tollis played with the heirloom set of Wraith – cosmetics for which another player spent $500:
