If you want to head to the World Tree, make sure you have Panthalus in your active party. It is not enough to have him stored in the Palbox.
Then fly with him towards the World Tree and look out for an altar that you can interact with. Do that, and you can pass through the barrier.
Everything Important About Resources on the World Tree Island
What can you expect on the island? The island is basically the last endgame area where you can explore several biomes and gather new resources and Pals. These include:
- Paloxit
- Radiant Gems
- Ancient Relics
- World Tree Holy Water
- Mythical Wood
Why do the materials disappear when you want to pick them up? When you harvest resources, you will quickly notice that they disappear when you try to pick them up. To be able to pick them up, you need to fulfill one of two requirements:
- Use World Tree Holy Water
- This gives you a buff and allows you to collect the items
- You get the holy water from the Pals living on the island
- Bring a Pal with the passive skill “Dimensional Leap”
- This will make your hunger decrease faster, but you won’t need holy water
- You can obtain such a Pal more frequently by hatching huge eggs from the World Tree Island
