Palworld: Panthalus - Everything you need to know about location, combat and access to the World Tree

Panthalus is probably the most important Pal in Palworld 1.0. He grants you access to the World Tree and is also particularly powerful. We will show you step by step what you need to know about him.

If you want to reach the World Tree in Palworld, your adventure will inevitably lead you to Panthalus. The whale-Pal at level 70 stands between you and access. Additionally, he is very powerful, belongs to the Water type, and, atypical for this element, serves as a flying mount for you.

Panthalus – Location and how to summon him

How to find Panthalus? You cannot simply encounter Panthalus in the world like most other Pals. You must awaken him with the appropriate flute at the right location and then battle him.

To do this, you need to complete the following steps:

Defeat all tower bosses of Feybreak and Sunreach
Defeat Auri in her tower in Sunreach

Talk to Auri and activate the quest with Panthalus
Then collect the four bones that are shown to you as whale skeletons on the map
- Here you need to keep a sharp eye, as these are not classical markers, but skeletons on the map

After that, travel to the Abandoned Island and unlock the fast travel point there if you haven’t already

Talk to the NPC there who stands next to the fast travel point – he gives you the crucial blueprint
Then travel to your camp and craft the corresponding flute from the collected bones at the workbench
Return to the Abandoned Island and interact with the tablet at the shrine
Your character will then play the flute, and Panthalus will appear
