In a new trailer, Palworld introduces four new monsters that you will soon be able to catch in the game. However, players believe they discover even more new content in the trailer.
Which Pals are being introduced? A trailer has now revealed a larger update for Palworld. A specific date for when this update will arrive is not yet known, but you can mark summer 2024 as an approximate timeframe.
The trailer focuses on four new Pals that will make their way into the game with the update. However, Pocketpair has not yet disclosed their names in this context. So for now, you will have to be satisfied with the few scenes that the trailer offers:
Four new Pals are coming with the update
- A humanoid frog that seems to be a real martial artist with a black belt.
- A large bird that can shoot sharp stones from the ground.
- A dog-like humanoid creature that can be seen in a temple and may possess psychic powers.
- A dinosaur with a mushroom hat and an innocent look.
According to the developers, only a few new Pals are supposed to come into the game with the update. However, we will likely only find out how many there will actually be in the near future.
How does the community react? Many players are excited about the new Pals and express their anticipation in the comments (via YouTube). In particular, the round, fighting frog seems to have captured the hearts of most players.
“This frog. I want this frog,” is one of the top comments. User PalKomi also writes in their comment: “I desperately want this frog-Pal, it looks so lovable […]”. In fact, the frog is mentioned particularly frequently in the comments.
Players discover more details in the trailer
Even though the trailer focuses on the new Pals, players were able to discover a few more details that might come to the game with the update.
“Also new weapons. Very nice,” notes user awanderer4033 in their comment. In fact, the trailer seems to introduce two new weapons that you can use to fight against the Pals:
- A modern assault rifle that allows you to shoot lasers.
- A huge flamethrower that seems to leave opposing Pals no chance.
You can also discover new areas in the trailer. However, whether and when these will be added to the game, or how large they will be, has not yet been confirmed. However, it is likely that these areas are not just designed for the trailer:
- An Asian-inspired area full of cherry blossom trees, shrines, and the iconic torii gates.
- A swamp area full of giant mushrooms, which will probably be home to the mushroom dino.
