There is a sign of life from Bless , it is coming “soon” to Europe.
Bless is a Korean AAA MMORPG, published by Aeria Games in Europe and North America. For a while, there were doubts about it because the Bless website was offline for a long time. Some wondered if Aeria Games was serious about porting Bless.
The Bless website is now finally online. There isn’t much to see yet. Just a picture and the announcement “Coming soon” – so it is coming “soon” to Europe. “Coming soon” should not be seen as a promise that it is really coming “soon”, but more as a fixed expression for: It is coming, don’t take the “soon” too seriously.

There is still no specific release date for Bless in Europe.
In Destiny , the skill level in the Trials of Osiris is currently mercilessly high. Many players can no longer reach Mercury.
We read it in forums like reddit and also under our own articles: The Trials of Osiris are currently hell for “normal teams.” Due to the lack of new content in Destiny for a long time, the player base has shrunk so much that there are hardly any beginners or non-PvP players in the Trials.
Even the normal and good teams eventually give up because they lose against overpowering opponents. Opponents like professional or semi-professional streamers who pull their fans to Mercury, known as “Carries.” There are even players who “carry” others to a flawless run for money.
Carries are players in Destiny with monstrous amounts of experience and PvP skill.
Over time, only strong teams remain, separating the wheat from the chaff during a content period. For “normal players,” the journey to Mercury becomes unattainable.
We keep getting better, but the results keep getting worse
On reddit, a player explains his story in a widely discussed thread . He and two friends have been training for Osiris for weeks and months. And they are getting better, but the results are getting worse. Previously, they could register 6, 7, or 8 victories. Today, they encounter teams with players above 1800 Elo, who march flawlessly on Mercury every weekend and bulldoze over “normal” teams like theirs.
With such a significant skill difference, playing is no fun.
The thread discusses the situation and works on proposals to solve the problem: A tier system that divides Osiris into two leagues, “players with flawless runs” and “players without flawless runs.” Others wish for a new mode – between “normal PvP” and “Osiris.”
Osiris shows: Destiny urgently needs new content
Schuhmann says: The problematic thing is that Osiris and PvP are basically the only “activities” players can engage in when nothing else is happening in Destiny. However, due to the structure of Osiris, that becomes stale over time, as weaker players are filtered out. This filtering is okay if teams manage to make it to Mercury on a “good day” and can be rewarded for their efforts. If the chances of that totally diminish, then Osiris collapses as well.
This is a structural problem of Destiny in this mode that always occurs when nothing new has happened for a long time. It has been like this before. Now this content pause is exceptionally long. Essentially, since “King’s Fall,” there has been a pause interspersed only occasionally with minor events. Bungie’s delay of Destiny 2 by a year has put them in a tricky situation.
The game systems of Destiny like Osiris, Banshee-44, the Nightfall, or Xur do not function indefinitely but need to be regularly fed, renewed, and maintained, otherwise they break down. If Banshee-44 becomes irrelevant, no one notices. He simply dies quietly from loneliness.
If Osiris collapses, it looks like this and it makes noise.
The solution is not to change the structure of Osiris. It works well as long as the player base is large enough. Osiris derives its appeal from the exclusivity of the Mercury trip. The solution is: Bungie needs to increase the player base again through new content. Alternatively, they should offer alternatives to Osiris – things that can keep players engaged even during content pauses.
Bungie has now tried this through strike scoring, Sparrow racing, or private matches. However, further efforts are needed. Ultimately, only fresh, extensive content can help Destiny.
An interesting phenomenon is that streamers or players who operate the “carry to Mercury” as a side job are starting to sweat. It will also become increasingly challenging for them to offer their service because they will only compete against other “carry” teams if this continues.
Also interesting: A slowly forming eSport structure around Destiny:
The MMO Atlantica Online now belongs to Valofe. Nexon is stepping back.
As announced half a year ago, Atlantica Online was handed over to Valofe last week. Publisher Nexon is stepping back. Nexon currently has Maple Story, Vindictus, and Hit in their repertoire in Europe.
There was a longer period, three months long, during which players could transfer from Nexon to Valofe. The “service migration” period is now over. Those who missed it need to create a new account with Valofe. Previous data from Nexon cannot be restored.

Atlantica Online is expected to grow and flourish under the new publisher. For 2017, Valofe promises to raise the maximum level to 180, revamp the item shop, and much more. They also aim to improve support and strengthen their bug fixes. Valofe has set ambitious goals.
In The Division, the next expansion “Last Stand” will deliver new content not only for PvP fans.
A few days ago, the ETF phase for “Last Stand” and Update 1.6 took place. From January 11 to January 13, several representatives from the community, along with members from Massive, were in the USA to discuss the upcoming innovations and changes in PvP with the “Red Storm” studios.
Already for the comprehensive update 1.4, the “Elite Task Force” was called upon to involve the community directly in the development process. According to Massive, this was very successful.
More than just PvP content
According to the Twitter account of Hamish Bode, this ETF phase was also successful. He met impressive people and he already misses these nerds.
One challenge that these ETF members still face is that they are not allowed to speak about anything they learned in the USA about the future of The Division. Most of the content is still secret and will be released by Massive gradually.
However, an ETF member broke the silence and teased new PvE content: Drew Rinaldi, better known as the YouTuber “LiKe BuTTeR“, tweeted:
“One more thing. PvP players are not the only ones who will receive love. Expect some great PvE activities in 1.6 and Last Stand.”
What could this mean?
Of course, several users immediately commented: “What exactly is coming?”, “When can you provide more detailed information?”
Drew Rinaldi replied that everything will be announced via “State of the Game”. The next livestream should be on January 19. We might learn more about the upcoming expansion then.
Since Rinaldi talks about “activities” (plural!), many agents’ expectations for “Last Stand” are growing. They are rubbing their hands and announcing that the hype train is back on track.

In the upcoming MMORPG Chronicles of Elyria, the world is divided into various biomes, which make the world more diverse and have a gameplay purpose.
A fantasy world in an MMORPG must be designed diversely. You don’t want to just walk through a desert or through forests all the time. Vast grasslands should alternate with mountains. Deep forests offer much to explore, and icy snow landscapes make the hero shiver. In the upcoming MMORPG Chronicles of Elyria, you will explore such a diverse game world. The biomes include, among others, steppes, forests, tundra, and taiga.
Biomes have a purpose
However, the biomes are not just there to make the world more beautiful; they also serve a purpose. For instance, when it comes to breeding animals. Some animals cannot live in the desert and feel comfortable in the tundra. If you want to breed these animals, you should also build your farm in an appropriate biome.
Where these biomes are located is defined logically. After the continent has been roughly created, it is determined, based on elevation differences, humidity, and weather, where each biome belongs. The biomes also play a role in the creation of kingdoms. Because they need natural boundaries, such as rivers or lakes and mountains.
Biomes affect the atmosphere and your hero
Furthermore, the landscape tells a story. When you wander through a landscape, you will find certain animals there, specific people, ruins, relics that tell a story and make this place special. And here too, the biome plays a role. An ancient ruin in a dense forest emanates a completely different atmosphere than a ruin in an open steppe.
Likewise, the biomes affect your skills. For example, if you wander from one biome to another, you will gradually notice that your hero adapts to the new circumstances. You will be able to learn some skills faster, while others will take longer. Watch the video linked below to learn more about the biomes in the MMORPG Chronicles of Elyria.

With this tool, you can calculate how many weeks, months, or years it will take until you reach Level 40 in Pokémon GO.
In summer 2016, Pokémon GO was released in Germany and has been used daily by many players since its launch. There are various goals to pursue in this augmented reality game, including reaching the maximum level. You start at Level 1, with the maximum being Level 40. With an online tool, you can now find out how much time you would need (approximately) for that.
How many days until max level?
To level up in Pokémon GO, you require more experience points with each higher level. To advance from Level 1 to Level 2, it takes 1,000 experience points. From Level 2 to Level 3, it’s already 2,000 experience points.
You need to collect a total of 20 million experience points in Pokémon GO to reach Level 40. Especially at higher levels, it takes a long time for the character to level up. From Level 39 to Level 40, you need 5 million XP.
With the online calculator, you can use your collected experience points to calculate when you will reach the highest level in Pokémon GO. To do this, first visit the calculator on PokémonGoHub.net . There you’ll see three empty fields that need to be filled with the corresponding information.
In the first field, enter your accumulated experience points so far. You can find out how many points you’ve collected in the app. Start the game and click on your trainer avatar in the lower left corner of the screen. Now scroll all the way down to the “Statistics” section. There you’ll find your total XP.
In the second field, enter how many days you have been playing Pokémon GO. (The release of the game in Germany was on 13.07.2016) – To make this easier, you can use this calendar calculator. Date calculator on Topster.de
In the third field, select the level for which the duration should be calculated. For example, Level 40.
Next to the calculator, you will be shown: In how many days you will reach the desired level, on which day you will likely reach that level, how many experience points you still need to reach that level, and how many experience points you gain on average per day.
So, if you’ve just reached Level 30, you’ve already collected about 2 million experience points. If you enter this data into the calculator and continue leveling at the same pace as before, you will reach Level 40 in just 4 years! In 2021, there would therefore be another reason to celebrate.
Some were too weak, others far too strong. Which six legendary Hearthstone cards were not used, you will find out here.
During an interview with IGN, Mike Donais talked about future plans for Hearthstone and which plans have already been discarded. Donais is Hearthstone’s Principal Game Designer and reported, among other things, on legendary cards that did not make it into the set of the latest Mean Streets of Gadgetzan. Some of the cards were far too strong and could not be included. Others were renamed or were too weak and therefore were not implemented in the game.
Six Discarded Legendaries from Hearthstone
The following cards were designed by the Hearthstone team for Mean Streets of Gadgetzan, but for various reasons did not make it into the game. Looking at the power of some cards, it’s good that we don’t find these in the opponents’ decks.
Cabal Leader: 6 Mana – 4/8 Stats – Legendary
At the end of the turn, it fires Arcane Missiles for each unused Mana Crystal.
Removed because the card used an old version of the Cabal theme (Unused Mana Crystals) and because it was only good if you had it on the board for at least one turn.
Dios – Warlock: 9 Mana – 12/12 Stats – Legendary
Battlecry: If you have no unused Mana Crystals, two copies of this card are shuffled into your deck.
Removed because the card used an old version of the Cabal theme (Unused Mana Crystals).
A fan vote on the largest US MMORPG site causes amazement: An outsider wins with a landslide victory.
Mmorpg.com is the largest English-speaking MMORPG site in the world, at least as far as we know. They held a vote for the “Most Wanted MMO 2017” from January 4 to January 10, that is, for the hottest title of the upcoming year.
The list of titles up for vote included games like Albion Online, Bless Online, Camelot Unchained, Chronicles of Elyria, Conan Exiles, Crowfall, Lineage Eternal, Revelation Online, or Shroud of the Avatar.
All titles that MMORPG fans have certainly heard quite a bit about. They are followed on MMO sites worldwide, some like Conan Exiles or Crowfall even get space in mainstream gaming media.
However, the race was actually between two very different titles that barely play a role on most gaming sites: The Korean Hack’n Slash Mu Legend and the old-school PvE MMORPG “Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen” had a neck-and-neck race that Mu Legend won.
Until the administrator discovered that there had been cheating. Mu Legend had received illegitimate votes. The title was disqualified. After cleaning up all “fake votes” in the election, “Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen” was declared the winner.
With 31.8%, that’s a damn strong result. Favorites like Crowfall (9.2%) or Camelot Unchained (8.7%) trailed far behind in 2nd and 3rd place. All three are titles that are still far from being “playable.” Revelation Online, which will soon enter its third closed beta, finished in fourth place.
How many votes were ultimately cast and counted in the election was not disclosed.
My MMO thinks: Such votes are difficult
Shoe-man thinks: That’s great for Pantheon. Congratulations first.
Now I have to play the Grinch: I view such votes critically. It matters that studios motivate their “fan base” and drive them to vote with forum posts, community actions, or other means. Because indie titles, in particular, have no budget for advertising, and for them, such a PR boost, such an award, is priceless.
Established studios are also keen to engage in this and encourage their fans to vote in similar elections.
The more “engaged” a community participates in such competitions, the higher the chance to win and to attract attention.
With all due respect: currently, certainly not 6 times more people are interested in “Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen” than in “Conan Exiles” or “Chronicles of Elyria.” Fans are not waiting with 3 times less dedication for their favorites like with Camelot Unchained or Crowfall. The studio behind Pantheon and its fans simply take this vote much more seriously.
The communities may be better connected, or the developers reach their fans more effectively and motivate them more passionately to vote.
You can see this, for example, on the Facebook pages of the games. Pantheon linked the vote three times, posted nothing else on FB during that time. Camelot Unchained or Chronicles of Elyria didn’t mention the vote on Facebook at all. Crowfall only once.
That said, one must be fair: Pantheon caters to an audience with its idea of an “old school PvE MMORPG” that currently feels neglected because left and right only Asia MMORPGs or PvP-focused games are being released. Nonetheless, such public elections should be approached with caution. Individual “campaigns” of an engaged community can sway the result in favor of their MMORPG looking for such success.
Perhaps the fanbases of other games were still on Christmas break and didn’t notice the vote so much.

In FIFA 17 FUT, the winter upgrades are due in February. You can help decide which players should be upgraded.
Currently, the winter transfers in FUT 17 are ongoing. Once they are completed at the end of January, the winter upgrade period in the “Ultimate Team” mode begins. Throughout February, upgraded standard player cards of professional players who have shown consistently strong performances in the past months will be released. The old standard cards of these players will no longer be available in packs from that point on.
Survey on Winter Upgrades
But which players will receive an upgrade? EA Sports wants to hear your opinion on this! The community manager Rob Hodson has posted a survey online, where you can
provide the first name,
the last name
and the suggested overall rating
of the player you think deserves an upgrade.
Keep in mind that gold players are generally only increased by 1-2 points. For example, if you believe that Kimmich’s performance (currently 78) deserves an upgrade, you should not suggest 90 as the new value.
A free update will soon bring a new 6v6 game mode in Titanfall 2. What else does the update bring?
Titanfall 2 will soon receive a free update that brings several changes to the game. In addition to the new Columns map, there will be a game mode where Titans are banned. This mode is called “Live Fire” and is intended only for Pilots. Additionally, there will be significant changes to the interface based on community feedback.
Live Fire – Game Mode in Titanfall 2
According to Respawn Entertainment, the new game mode should be “lightning-fast”. In this team-based mode, both teams consist of sixPilots – Titans are not allowed. In a Best-Of-Five mode, the two teams will fight against each other. The team that wins three rounds first wins the game.
The special thing about it: There are no respawns and each round lasts a maximum of 60 seconds. You win a round in Live Fire either by killing all Pilots of the opposing team or by having the neutral flag in your possession when time runs out.
Additionally, there are two new maps specifically designed for this 6v6 mode. The two maps are named Stacks and Meadow, and can only be played in the “Live Fire” playlist. These maps are small and don’t offer much space to evade opponents. This supports the fast gameplay that the developers expect from this mode.
New Coliseum Map and Interface Improvements
Additionally, the developers are working on a new Coliseum map called Columns. New Commander intros for each faction will also be included in this update.
In the new matchmaking interface, players will be able to create a “Mixtape” and choose which game modes they want to play. The interface changes should make it easier for players to navigate in the game.
When the new update will be released is currently still unclear. More than the usual “soon” has not been mentioned.
The long queues on the unofficial WoW-Classic servers of Elysium are now to be combated with another server.
On the unofficial Classic servers of Team Elysium, you experience the World of Warcraft time in Vanilla style. The level cap is set to level 60 and quests, areas, and monsters are kept in the classic style without game expansions like The Burning Crusade. After Blizzard shut down servers of the Nostalrius project last year, the project has since resumed. However, there is so much demand for these classic game servers that the team has now had to upgrade hardware.
Another PvP server from Team Elysium
Just last weekend, a fresh PvP server from Team Elysium launched, where “everything is set to zero”. This means that all players start leveling from scratch simultaneously, initiating a major race in the quest areas. The special thing about this server is that players are out there without additional experience points or other aids, as is common on other private servers. These classic conditions attracted so many players that the queue times skyrocketed.
This was not a condition that the responsible team could observe for long. For this reason, they decided to open another PvP server. This allows players to spread over another server and thus shorten the queues.

A role-playing MMO will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, Dragon Quest X. Check out the trailer here.
Recently, Nintendo announced the price, launch date, and a game lineup for the Nintendo Switch. During the reveal event, various publishers were introduced who will release games on the Nintendo Switch. Among them is “Square Enix”, which is bringing the MMORPG Dragon Quest X to Nintendo’s new hybrid console.
https://youtu.be/9qQ0p43v7jc
Dragon Quest X takes place in the fictional world of “Astoltia”, where one must confront the Lord of Hell “Nelgel”. Nelgel tears the souls of the people of Astoltia from their bodies and places them into the bodies of other beings: Ogre, Elf, Dwarf, Puklipo, or Weddie.
To defeat Nelgel, one must collect magical crystals. The gameplay follows the rules of a classic MMORPG with real-time combat and an open world. There is also a job system connected to the skills and abilities of the characters.
Much is still not known about Dragon Quest X for the Nintendo Switch. There is already a version of the game for PC, mobile platforms, and Nintendo 3DS. However, it is currently Japan-exclusive. Dragon Quest X was released in August 2012
It may be that Studio Square Enix will reveal more soon, including whether there will be a port to Europeavailable. So far, regarding the port of Dragon Quest X to other media, it was said that a port would be initiated if enough fans demanded it.
The release date for Dragon Quest X is still not known.
With Paladins and Overwatch , there are two “hero shooters” making their mark. We compare both titles and list advantages and disadvantages.
While Blizzard’s Overwatch was one of the most successful shooters last year and was able to attract many new players to a genre otherwise known as “killer game”, another representative of the hero shooters has sneaked in. Since Paladins: Champions of the Realm launched on Steam, Hi-Rez’s shooter has gone from a hidden gem to a consistent success with rising player numbers.
We take a closer look at both games and compare their various aspects.
Gameplay and Playstyle
As expected, a hero shooter focuses on first-person action. Here – at the undoubtedly most important element – both games manage to impress.
While in Overwatch, 12 players compete against each other in 2 teams, in Paladins it’s 5 players per team, which increases the responsibility for each team member. In both games, good aiming is advantageous, but not absolutely necessary to have fun and succeed. Thanks to characters that use area attacks or have simpler mechanics, even players without shooter experience can achieve success and become useful team members.
Those who take up snipers and look back at a long “Counter Strike” career become a nightmare for the opponents.
The missions in both games are similar, sometimes even identical: capture control points or protect and escort payloads (or prevent exactly that). Overwatch stands out with a larger number of maps, where Paladins still needs to catch up.
Paladins has PvE, Overwatch Arcade
To offer players more variety, both Paladins and Overwatch have come up with different modes that deviate from the regular ones.
In Paladins, there is a cooperative PvE mode (Player vs Environment). Here, a team of five players faces off against bots that all fight with enhanced traits and reduced cooldowns for abilities. The PvE challenges rotate on a weekly basis. As a reward, crystals are on offer here. Crystals are normally only obtainable with real money and unlock cosmetic items.
In Overwatch, players are offered the Arcade mode, where exclusive modes, maps, and rules await. For example, there’s a variation where players compete 1vs1 instead of with a full team or are required to play with a random hero. These modes rotate and alternate. Here, you can earn loot boxes as rewards.
Presentation and Game World
The biggest differences can be found in the attention to detail in the game world.
The maps in Overwatch are convincing and more detailed – Paladins still needs to improve here.
The various maps of Overwatch overflow with details and small narrative hints whose connection one only understands if one reads the heroes’ stories online – but they are there. The maps feel convincing, interesting, and detailed.
The maps of Paladins cannot currently compete with the level of detail of those in Overwatch. There are significantly fewer maps here, which is why one often has to play on the same map. Nevertheless, the maps of Paladins have their own charm and are graphically less polished. More details would benefit Paladins – though that may come at the cost of performance. The latest map “Stone Keep” is already an improvement over the previous maps in Paladins. This direction should be maintained by the developers.
Stone Keep has more details than previous maps.
The characters may look extremely similar at first glance, as some champions resemble each other closely. Reinhardt and Fernando both come with a big shield as tanks. Evie and Mei heal themselves through an ice block and both trigger a snowstorm with their Ultimate that slows opponents. They have clearly inspired each other and even adopted one or two mechanics. Other champions also have parallels.
After having played both games more intensively, one realizes that the characters play completely differently. This may be due to the fact that Paladins has a card system that allows players to adjust the abilities of the champions. The mechanics of the champions in Overwatch and Paladins are partly very similar, but must be applied differently in each game.
Much more is known about the backgrounds of the champions in Overwatch, which makes them feel more alive. Each individual character comes with an elaborate story that helps the player immerse into the character’s role. In Paladins, hardly anything is known about the champions. More lore would be desirable in Paladins.

More MOBA elements in Paladins, more consistency in Overwatch
The biggest differences between both games can be quickly identified: While in Overwatch one can basically switch heroes permanently (as soon as one has died), the selection in Paladins remains until the end of the round.
Similar to MOBAs, Paladins allows players to purchase additional upgrades during the round to enhance certain aspects of their character. Should my turret deal more damage to shields? Do I want to be able to heal myself with weapon attacks?
Every match requires new decisions to be made.
Each round presents new decisions that allow you to tweak the current kit a bit to better align with the opponents. Additionally, before the match, you can select a set of cards that enhance certain abilities of your character. Should my ice block heal me? Do I want to deal more damage after teleporting? Do I want to be invisible while riding? Decisions upon decisions, allowing multiple playstyles even with the same character.
Overwatch does not have any of this. The heroes have fixed abilities that cannot be adjusted. If you face an “Ana” or a “Roadhog”, you always know exactly what they can do and how strong they are. Big surprises are absent – while this is more consistent, some may find it too repetitive. Ultimately, it’s up to the player’s taste which system they prefer.
The Overwatch heroes have a fixed kit with exactly the same effects each time.
When it comes to visual customization, both games are well set up. In Overwatch, cosmetics like skins and emotes are distributed through loot boxes, which are rewarded approximately every few matches for level progression. Paladins also allows some customizations through in-game currency, while others are only available in the shop for real money – after all, it’s a free-to-play title.
Loot boxes provide upgrades in both games – but in Paladins they also have gameplay effects.
Conclusion – Both have their reason for existence
In conclusion, it must be noted that Overwatch delivers a rounded and slightly better balanced gameplay feel – the usual Blizzard quality is at a very high level. Paladins can still improve in areas like maps and lore, but it’s also still in beta and not officially released – minor blemishes can therefore be forgiven. For a game in beta, Paladins looks remarkably good and since it’s completely free, no one does wrong by giving it a look or two.

In WoW , Blizzard has announced a patch to significantly increase the damage of classes like the Hunter. Priests, on the other hand, are being touched by the nerf hammer.
Patch 7.1.5 has disrupted the balance in WoW. While Shadow Priests are now at the top of the food chain after initial tests, Hunters have been hit hard. All three specs ended up at the bottom in the first tests. This can make raid nights quite unappealing.
Last night, Community Manager Ornyx announced a patch that is set to go live with the next weekly reset of WoW. The patch, a “Class Tuning Hotfix”, will significantly adjust the freshly modified classes.
Hunters can look forward to it. All three specs will take a sip from the damage jug. For the BM Hunter, Cobra Shot will be increased by about 46%, and also Beast!, Barrage, and Chimera Shot will go up by 10%. For Marksmanship Hunter, almost all shots will increase by 8%. And the Survival Hunter will also receive a damage boost.
The Shadow Priest, on the other hand, will be lowered almost across the board. The damage values of individual abilities are going down. The Tank Warrior is also affected; Blizzard seems to find his damage too high.
These changes are also not set in stone. Blizzard wants to closely observe the progress in the Nighthold and is ready to make further adjustments if necessary.
Not only Hunters and Shadow Priests are affected by the changes. Practically every class is undergoing adjustments, and legendary items also need to be fine-tuned.
In The Division , there are reports of a new story mission visible on the map. Massive has already responded.
Yesterday, on January 13th, maintenance was carried out, which was supposed to bring only two bug fixes. However, some agents noticed another “innovation”: A fresh story mission is displayed on the operation map.
However, this mission cannot be started, nor is it visible to everyone. On reddit, it is suspected that an HVT, a high-value target, must be nearby for the mission icon to appear on the map. When you log out and log back in, the icon is gone:
New Mission Leads to a Clinic
The mission is called “Midtown West Clinic”. It is located in Hell’s Kitchen, in the western part of the map. According to the in-game description, there is supposed to be a “Bratva presence” there, and it is suspected that the clinic is infiltrated. The JTF is currently not present there.
Interesting: Last week, numerous hints were found in the game files about what new content update 1.6 and “Last Stand” could bring. Specifically, there was mention of a clinic and the Bratva presence. The in-game mission description was literally in the discovered files.
In the past, future activities have been “leaked” through the map: The Dragon’s Nest raid or the “Falcon Lost” raid were visible on the map in advance before the required expansions were released. However, the mission names were always incorrect: “Falcon Lost” was initially displayed as “Falcon’s Nest”.
Speculation about the Midtown West Clinic has been lively on reddit. It could be the starting mission for the “Last Stand” expansion. However, it may also just be a scrapped mission still found in the files that will never make it into the game.
What Does Massive Say About It?
The developers have commented on this already: They want to make it clear that it is not intended for this mission to be displayed. They do not want to tease anything with it.
Whether we will be able to play the mission sooner or later remains to be seen.
Schuhmann says: “Bratva” is another word for the Russian mafia. In the development stage of “The Division”, Bratva was what later became the Rikers. The appearance of the term “Bratva” in this phantom clinic mission could mean two things:
Either these are relics from early drafts that are still somehow dormant in the code.
Or a completely different faction is planned towards the Russian mafia and Massive is tapping into ideas from the planning phase.
The development team of Pantheon has determined the most memorable events and milestones from the past year. These include the revised pledge tiers, which now allow the supporters of the game to know exactly what is included in their tier. Additionally, there were some extra items that should help new players get into the MMO. This should also make it so that new players find the tiers more attractive and consider supporting the MMO as well.
A Successful Year 2016
The Twitch livestreams of the game in March, June, and December were particularly well received by the team members and the fans. It was fun to showcase the development of the game and play some sessions. This led to some progress being made.
The unveiling of the Cleric, Thief, and Shaman classes was also a highlight, just like the announcement of the new races Gnomes, Humans, Ogres, and Archai, whose character models were shown. In August, an Ask-me-Anything (AMA) was held.
New team members and participation in the Game Developers Conference are among the points that made 2016 a good year for the team behind Pantheon.
But now we are writing the year 2017 and the team has quite a lot planned for this year.
Amberfaet is a Huge Dungeon
First, the developers introduce the dungeon Amberfaet. This is an ancient Dwarven fortress that only groups dare to enter. Amberfaet is a vertical dungeon where the group fights through multiple levels up and down. Here, the climbing skill also plays an important role. The dungeon is huge and can be explored freely. Once the zone is completed, it is expected to accommodate between 80 and 100 players.
In the MMO shooter Destiny weapons with God Rolls are considered the best weapons overall. What is behind it? When is a weapon a God Roll?
Every weapon in Destiny has “Perks” that give it specific characteristics. One perk might make the weapon a bit more stable, another increases the magazine size. The better the perks enhance a weapon, the better the weapon is. Even the strongest weapons on paper with the best base stats will be dismantled if they show weak perks.
Destiny: Hunting for the God Roll
The “God Roll” refers to the best perk combination possible on a weapon. Such a weapon performs significantly better than “normal” weapons.
Even in the “modern age” there are such outliers in Destiny’s Iron Banner, as with the “Clever Dragon.”
At the vendor Banshee-44, Guardians place weapon orders every week, hoping he will bring them back the following week with a “God Roll”.
As easy as the “God Roll” is to describe, it is just as controversial: Many Guardians have different ideas about how to get the most out of each weapon. Moreover, it always depends on the situation at hand which perk is really useful.
In PvE and PvP, there are differences in perk selection because the situations in which the weapon must perform vary: Am I fighting against a Guardian? Do I need to eliminate large hordes of enemies? Is it against a big boss?
As an example, hand cannons can be mentioned here: To be competitive in PvP, most hand cannons need perks for range. Barrel Shroud is top here. Additionally, Targeting Adjuster helps immensely. In PvE, however, many strive for the Fatebringer roll, meaning Outlaw, Explosive Rounds, and Firefly, as this allows clearing many enemies with a few shots.
The Choice of Best Perks in PvE and PvP
While exotic weapons come with fixed perks, most legendary weapons have randomly selected properties: In each column on the weapon, multiple perks are possible, with randomness deciding which one the weapon actually receives upon drop.
Even among weapons of the same archetype, the best possible roll can look different because not every weapon can get every perk. Bungie has previously changed the perk selection on weapons because the God Roll was so powerful that it disrupted the game’s balance.
But which perks are the best in PvE and PvP? In response to this question, the Redditor ebolaxb provides an impressive answer. He created lists for PvP and PvE, naming a God Roll for each legendary weapon. You can find his work here:
These lists are “Live Guides” that he will update as needed. He is sure that not everyone will agree with his recommendations – because as mentioned, God Rolls are controversial. However, the majority of users praise him for this great work.
The SF epic Star Citizen is a game of superlatives. An interview with a xenolinguist challenges the skeptics.
In Star Citizen, there is a xenolinguist at your service. He is responsible for ensuring that the alien languages used in the game follow an internal logic. This is done by Birtton Watkins, who also created languages in “Star Trek: Into Darkness.” This is known as “Constructed Languages.”
“And what do they do?” – “I create alien languages”
Even though this information may break hearts: There are neither ancient writings from which one could derive Zwegish, nor signals from space that showed us how Klingon should actually sound. Thus, someone must construct the languages.
In a video, Star Citizen now presented us with Watkins’ work.

No matter the topic – Star Citizen divides opinions
This raises numerous skeptics on gaming sites who amuse themselves over such expenditures at Star Citizen. On Pc Gamer, one asks: What does it mean, “When will Squadron 42 come in this alien language?” Squadron 42 is the single-player campaign of Star Citizen, which is still awaited. Some had expected pictures of Squadron 42 by the end of 2016, but it was postponed at short notice.
On Gamestar, a discussion about vaporware breaks out. Such refers to products that are announced but never appear. For years, fierce and lengthy discussions about Star Citizen have been conducted on the largest German gaming site.
Star Citizen is deemed an incredibly ambitious project that aims to break boundaries. Discussions about it continue in gaming media both domestically and abroad. Critics believe the game is a pipe dream into which backers have invested millions, but will never materialize. However, fans of the game believe it is worth waiting for such a masterpiece. Delays are absolutely normal for a AAA project of this magnitude.
In Hearthstone , Pirate Warrior and Pirate Rogue are soon to be affected by the cards.
Yesterday a livestream of Hearthstone took place. There, a nerf of the currently popular pirates became apparent. This is not because the decks are really that strong, but because they are so popular.
According to Blizzard, Hearthstone is currently well balanced, no deck has a win rate over 52%. In the past, it has mostly been like this. It is rare for a deck to become stronger than 55% win rate. Yet some decks simply become too popular in Hearthstone.
The issue here is that all pirate decks feel the same when you are boarded by them. Even though variations come, it feels to players as if they are always losing against the same deck.
No nerf has been announced yet, but it is heavily implied that one is coming. If the pirates in Hearthstone continue to be this popular, then Team 5 will address the issue. Usually, this means: Nerfs are coming. Since a downturn in the pirate waves cannot be expected without a nerf, one can assume that Blizzard will intervene.
The current pirate craze includes Pirate Warrior and Pirate Rogue. The decks are brutal and geared towards a fast and hard victory in just a few rounds. They dominate the early game and aim to finish matches already in the mid-game, in rounds 5, 6, or 7. The pirate decks utilize synergy effects between the pirates and weapons for their success.
These synergy effects have always existed, but with the cheap new pirate cards from “Mean Streets of Gadgetzan” and “Whispers of the Old Gods,” a deadly mixture has emerged.
