The world of Hyboria is a dark and brutal place – also in the upcoming survival RPG Conan Exiles. Religion can help you in the game – or not.
When creating your character, you decide whether to follow one of the gods Crom, Mitra, Yog, or Set. However, Crom, who reigns from his mountain, is not interested in the prayers of his followers, which makes him suitable only for those to whom the religion system of the game doesn’t matter. But those who choose Mitra, Yog, or Set can worship these gods and gain their favor.
Give hearts to your god
Depending on which god you have chosen, you must do different things to attract his attention.
Followers of Set must cut out the hearts of their enemies and bring them to the altar.
The god Yog, on the other hand, requires you to roast your opponents in a Yog pit.
If you cleanse the bodies of fallen enemies with the Mitra cross and bring the essence of their souls to an altar of the god, you will gain his favor.
You must build altars for your god, which you can upgrade in three stages. However, you must also go through the different ranks of the priesthood. Each level brings you new recipes, such as religious weapons or particularly effective food.
The last level requires much goodwill from the god, which is easiest to achieve in a clan when everyone helps. In a clan, you can also worship multiple gods and build different altars accordingly. This grants the clan the favor of different gods.
Summon and guide the avatar of your god
If you have a level 3 altar and a bonded high priest, it is possible to summon an avatar of the god for a short time. This avatar then appears in physical form and clears out your enemies for you. The avatar acts through you.
This means you are incapacitated and vulnerable during the summoning but can control the avatar yourself. However, if you are killed, he will disappear immediately. So you need to protect yourself well. As a mighty avatar of your god, you see the world from a different perspective and trample your enemies and their fortresses.
You can experience how this all plays out starting January 31. For on this day, the early access phase of Conan Exiles begins.

Multiplayer games are a guarantee for good profit! According to the BIU – the Federal Association of Interactive Entertainment Software e.V. – multiplayer titles and open-world games were particularly popular among German gamers in 2016.
The Federal Association of Interactive Entertainment Software e.V. – the association of manufacturers and publishers of games in Germany – evaluated the sales charts for 2016 and presented its results. According to the BIU, especially three newly released games are doing well: FIFA 17, Uncharted 4, and Battlefield 1.
Multiplayer rocks!
All three games received a special award for selling more than 500,000 copies on one platform. FIFA and Battlefield 1 even achieved this on multiple platforms. The football epic FIFA 17 recorded over a million sales! While Uncharted 4 is a solo title, Battlefield 1 and FIFA 16 are, on the other hand, multiplayer games.
According to BIU CEO Felix Falk, multiplayer and open-world games are the most successful titles among German players. Over 18 million German gamers played games in multiplayer mode according to the BIU. This corresponds to 27 percent of internet users over 16. This number is further divided as follows:
8.4 million players play online in multiplayer against or with each other
4.7 million gamers still play in the same room as their teammates
4.9 million players use both the internet and the local multiplayer mode
14 million players (21 percent of all gamers) in Germany play up to 50 percent of their gaming time in multiplayer games
The data used by the BIU regarding the use of multiplayer games was collected by YouGov Deutschland GmbH (an analysis agency) between July 11, 2016 and July 13, 2016. A total of 2,023 people participated in the survey. The results were weighted and are representative of the German population aged 16 and over.
The latest update for the Free2Play MMORPG SWTOR is coming today – and it gives the heroes of the galaxy no rest at all.
Today, a new patch for Star Wars: The Old Republic is being deployed. After the players have seized control of the galaxy as outsiders, it is crucial to maintain the status quo. However, it would be way too boring if all the villains simply went on vacation, so they are causing a ruckus: A total of 5 new uprisings await up to four players who want to take down those upstarts.
Sometimes they must take down a gang that wants to frame the outsider for an assassination, and at other times, a droid with an explosive personality needs to be escorted into the depths of a cave. As usual, this will be rewarded with additional experience points for the Galactic Command, which in turn offers strong rewards – such as equipment.
However, even though it seems at first glance that the new uprisings are merely busywork, there is a common, larger reason behind all the new content pieces. Players are encouraged to read the various codex entries about the uprisings, as some initial content will be hidden there, which will hint at what the future holds for Star Wars: The Old Republic.
In one uprising, players can even briefly become a Rakghoul themselves – but is that really something they want?
Aside from that, the new update also brings back the “usual suspects” – new content in the cartel shop, including a hefty cartel pack featuring new mounts, companions, and stylish armors.
Scheduled server maintenance will begin today, on 24.01.2016 at 14:00. If everything goes according to plan, the servers should be available again at 17:00.
The leaks in Overwatch are never-ending. Now, another trailer for Year of the Rooster has been released.
The new event Year of the Rooster is coming up. Officially, there is still little information available. But at Blizzard, leaks have been flowing heavily for days. It’s leaking all over the place.
Now, the complete Spanish trailer for “Year of the Fire Rooster”, the new “Chinese New Year” event in Overwatch has been leaked. The Spaniards were apparently too early on Twitter and posted the trailer there. The video was quickly deleted, but once it’s out, it’s out, especially when millions are waiting for any info.
In the video, numerous skins and the new mode with Capture-the-Flag can be seen.

The video reveals that Year of the Rooster will be a three-week event that starts today. There are loot boxes and a dedicated game mode. This is “Capture-the-Flag” – more heroes will be able to participate than just Tracer.
Meanwhile, the patch with the changes to Roadhog, D.Va, Ana, and Sombra has disappeared from the PTS. This usually means: It will also go live soon.
In The Division, we look at the exotic talents of weapons available on the PTS for Last Stand and update 1.6.
Today, on January 24th, the test phase for “Last Stand” and update 1.6 begins. The PTS will be launched. The patch notes were published yesterday. The talents of the weapon exotics can be found there.
The exotics are the revised named items that now come with unique talents. What do the exotic weapon talents do?
The bonuses of the exotic talents – PTS
The exotic talents are always active on the weapons; they do not need to be unlocked first. The other two weapon talents are rolled randomly.
FAMAS: This assault rifle will be an exotic weapon with the already known “Simple” talent as its exotic talent.
Medved – Center Mass: The shotgun now fires heavy slugs instead of pellets.
Hungry Hog – Glutton: When you kill an enemy, damage is increased by 20%. The buff ends when you stop shooting. The bonus is stackable!
Tenebrae – Lights out: By destroying enemy weak points, the skill cooldowns of you and nearby allies are reset.
Pakhan – Pakhan: With each kill, you receive 20% more bullets in the magazine with the next reload compared to the base value.
Liberator and Centurion (weapon set) – Free Republic: Each shot with the Liberator grants +5% damage for the next headshot with the Centurion. The maximum is +200%. Kills with the Centurion grant +10% rate of fire for all weapons for 10 seconds.
Valkyria becomes Hildr and Eir (weapon set): Each hit with Hildr increases critical hit damage by 1% up to a maximum of 100%. This bonus decreases by 1% every second. The problem is: Hildr has no critical hit chance. This means you need to build the buff with Hildr, then switch to Eir and deal the increased damage.
Valkyria
Cassidy – Boomstick: If you press the shoot button quickly in succession, the gun fires both shots quickly one after the other.
Urban-MDR – Distracted: This bonus is already known. Damage to targets with a status effect is increased by 10%.
Warlord – Play rough: You take 20% less damage while shooting. The damage taken is received back when you stop shooting.
Damascus – Quickdraw: When you draw the weapon, weapon damage increases by 20% for two seconds. After two seconds, the damage is 20% lower.
Golden Rhino – Golden Rhino: Stagger is increased by 200%.
Historian – History repeats: Each bullet ignites itself in the target and detonates after 2 seconds for 20% skill power.
Caduceus: Each critical hit heals you and your group by 1%.
Note that the bonuses and especially the numerical values may change before the launch of update 1.6.
Important notes:
These exotic talents cannot be transferred with AlphaBridge.
Exotic talents cannot be recalibrated. They are fixed.
The talents of the exotic weapon sets only activate when both weapons are equipped.
The new Zombie MMO Moonlights takes a look behind the undead bones.
Yesterday, we reported that the Chinese developer Snail Games will unleash undead on the playing humanity with “Moonlights”. A survival zombie MMO is in development. Now there’s more information.
Moonlights aims to provide a different player experience compared to competing products. It is said to be more realistic than H1Z1.
According to a Chinese site, Moonlights offers a variety of buildings and quicker zombies than those in H1Z1. Snail Games is inspired by the “fast mutants” from the movie I am Legend. The zombies in Moonlights can gather together and then overwhelm a player’s base at night.
During the day, the zombies hide out of fear of daylight. Then players can venture outside and gather supplies.
Moonlights is expected to enter open beta in the second half of 2017.
Players have already received their confirmation that they can participate in the Closed Beta of For Honor.
On Thursday, January 26th, the beta phase of For Honor will begin. However, this is not an open testing phase, but a closed one. This means you need to register in advance and hope that you are selected by Ubisoft.
A few hours ago, community developer Eric spoke up: The first invitations have been sent out. So check your email inbox to see if you have already received a confirmation of participation.
Preloading the beta is possible
Players who have an invitation can start the preload immediately – that is, download and install the beta in advance so they can dive right in on January 26th.
If you haven’t received an invitation yet: There is still hope. Ubisoft needs a little more time to send out the remaining invitations. The process is still ongoing.
The beta will take place from January 26th to January 29th. A good two weeks later, on February 14th, the full version of For Honor will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
By the way: The beta download on Xbox One is currently labeled as “For Honor Alpha.” However, this is just a visual issue.
The game operates in China under “Tencent Games.” Their CEO was once known as the “King of Cloners.” He built his company on a “Chinese version of AOL.” The company gained fame and fortune by bringing successful Western concepts to the East. China is known for making it difficult for Western companies to access the market – but people there also want social media. And someone has to build and deliver it.
Tencent Games is immensely successful with this formula. At the end of 2015, they fully acquired Riot along with the MOBA League of Legends – that surely wasn’t cheap.
Gameplay footage from Transformers Online in the closed beta shows things like the “Payload” and other modes.
Although it must be said fairly that Blizzard has also been accused in the past of diligently copying ideas from the forefathers of the respective genres. For Overwatch, it is assumed that Team Fortress 2 served as inspiration.

Transformers Online has been in closed beta in China since early January. In the latest patches, they have changed the skill system, improved the graphics, and enhanced the interface. Transformers Online is likely to remain a China-exclusive title. MMO-Culture, who have played the Unreal Engine 4 team shooter, criticize the lack of a storyline and that the bots lack personality.
They also notice that Transformers Online obviously draws its inspirations from Overwatch and League of Legends.
In World of Warcraft, with Patch 7.2, the order halls can be further expanded. However, this comes at a hefty price.
Patch 7.2 is currently active on the World of Warcraft test server and already shows some changes, even though not all features are accessible yet. As promised, the next major update will allow further improvements to the artifact weapon – but also to the order hall.
And here comes the bad news for all players who have neglected to gather order hall resources in recent weeks and months: For the order halls, there will be two new upgrade levels for each class, each coming with a pretty hefty price. The first update (Tier 7) costs 20,000 resources and the second (Tier 8) even a whopping 30,000 resources – a total of 50,000 order hall resources!
This is what happens to the order halls in WoW Patch 7.2
These upgrades are not optional improvements but important enhancements that significantly impact the character – at least in the case of the “Tier 8” upgrade.
Tier 7 – Choice 1: A new troop type that randomly counters an effect (minions, spells, obstacles) and has a 30% success chance.
Tier 7 – Choice 2: Increases the number of champions you can actively own by 1.
Tier 8 – Choice 1 (only option): All relics can now grant a rank bonus to a second artifact weapon ability.
Especially the last bonus is crucial, as it allows unlocking new bonuses with each relic in the artifact weapon, making the weapon even more powerful. Raiders and anyone looking to get the most out of their character will want to explore the bonus as quickly as possible – even if the research takes 14 days.
Cortyn says: While I appreciate that the order halls can be expanded further and offer new bonuses, I find it a bit boring and unimaginative that all classes have the same upgrades. Yes, the unit types have different names, but their effects are completely identical.
That is quite a pity from my perspective, as the previous bonuses – such as the wells for priests or the boss fights for demon hunters – gave the order halls a sense of individuality. Now that all new bonuses are identical, it is simply boring.
As new classes for the MMORPG are recruited from the vast class pool of the Final Fantasy franchise, the speculation is passionate: Fans want their favorite class from the past to come to the game now.
Fans interpreted a specific hint from FF14 chief Naoki Yoshida in two ways. He was wearing a Spiderman T-shirt when announcing the Red Mage. Yoshida is known for giving hints through such T-shirts:
1. Version – that’s Spiderman, who got the power of a spider from a spider bite, this is how the Blue Mage works
2. Version – the director of the Spiderman movies was Sam Raimi – if you pronounce that in Japanese, it sounds like Samurai
While there have recently been strong hints about the Blue Mage, data miners have now found this in the code of the latest patch 3.5:
The job abbreviation “Sam” gives a clear hint towards Samurai, they believe.
This was the Samurai in the MMORPG Final Fantasy XI

The Stormblood expansion for Final Fantasy XIV will be released on June 20. It is expected to deliver plenty of gameplay content along with the new jobs. There will be the possibility to swim and dive. Additionally, raids and new zones await the heroes of Eorzea.
What do you think? Blue Mage? Samurai? Are both coming? Let us know in the comments.
Two years ago, fans already thought the Samurai would soon join FF14:
In Destiny, the weekly reset takes place today, January 24th. The Iron Banner ends in January 2017, bringing fresh activities.
If you wanted to dive into the January Iron Banner: you’re too late now. Since 10 a.m., the monthly PvP event has been ongoing. Lord Efrideet packed her weapons and armor pieces and disappeared from Felwinter Peak. Now you have to wait until February for the next “Iron Banner” to get underway.
What you will have to do until then – apart from the weekly resets – is written in the stars. We know that Bungie’s live team is working on a content update for spring. A weapon balance patch is also in sight. When these updates find their way into Destiny and what they will actually bring, we will only find out in the future. Possibly as early as the end of this week.
Let’s see what this week brings.
Nightfall on January 24th on PS4 and Xbox One
This week, the Nightfall is the Putrid Chalice! Malok is your opponent.
The modifiers are:
Epic
Voidburn
Juggler: No ammo drops for the equipped weapon
Grounded: You take more damage while airborne
Catapult: The grenade charges faster
In the heroic SIVA crisis strike playlist, the modifiers are Heroic, Arcburn, Exposure, and Catapult
The “Iron Lord” artifacts this week
This week at Tyra Karn, you can obtain these three artifacts with these attributes:
At Lord Shaxx, there is the Control bounty. Zavala has Strike Elite, Sunrise, and Just Perfect (Complete Strikes without a fireteam member dying) for you.
With the new update 0.53.2, Pokémon GO adds a new language support and fixes connectivity issues with GO Plus devices.
As of today, the new update 0.53.2 for Android and 1.23.2 for iOS is available for Pokémon GO. In the patch notes, the developers mention that there is now Korean language support in the game. Additionally, connectivity issues that existed between some Android smartphones and Pokémon GO Plus devices have been resolved.
Patchnotes 0.53.2 Android / 1.23.2 iOS
The biggest change in the new Pokémon GO update is the Korean language support. Other than the language support, no new features are mentioned in the patch notes. On Reddit, user moppetkid writes that this patch also fixed issues with Android devices using Pokémon GO Plus.
An email from the Pokémon support team explains that the GO Plus device is not yet compatible with Android versions over 7.0. Those who experienced connection issues with the device due to the last update should disconnect the devices (if possible) and restart the smartphone. Then, delete the Pokémon GO app and reinstall it. Finally, the GO Plus device only needs to be reset, and the connection should be successful again.
Blizzard is giving away StarCraft 2 to selected players – but is there a catch?
What reads like cheap clickbait in the headline is simply the truth. Several players have reported in the past 72 hours that they can suddenly play StarCraft 2 on their Battle.net account. The game has simply appeared in their list of games and is available for download.
What initially seemed like an error to many quickly turned out to be a PR stunt by Blizzard. They simply gifted the base game to some players – probably in the hope that they would enjoy it and purchase the two expansions “Heart of the Swarm” and “Legacy of the Void”.
By the way, this is not a “trial version” or a time-limited version of the game, but the full (and endlessly available) base version of StarCraft 2: Wings of Liberty.

If you are among the lucky ones: Congratulations! At least the single-player campaign is definitely worth a look – even if you have no idea about StarCraft.
The colleagues at PCGamesN have also already asked Blizzard if everything is above board with this initiative and promptly received a response.
“This was done directly in the Battle.net desktop app. If you have received an official email from us, then your account has been marked, and you will see StarCraft 2 directly in the Battle.net launcher. Do not click on any links from emails, social networks, or similar sources that promise to grant you a download key. We have marked the accounts directly, and there are no “download keys” in this case.”
Cortyn says: A nice initiative to attract a few more players to the StarCraft universe. However, I can already hear the first keyboards clicking, as players will surely complain that they “never got anything” and that the whole initiative is “totally unfair”. If this has happened to you: Maybe next time!

In The Division, the public test servers for Last Stand and Update 1.6 go live today, January 24.
For The Division, information about “Last Stand” and Update 1.6 is flooding in: On Thursday, the new PvP mode was introduced, and on Friday, a comprehensive post about Update 1.6 was released. Yesterday, January 23, the patch notes for the PTS of 1.6 were published. We also know when this will start.
Today, January 24, you can access the test servers on PC. Launch time is stated as 12 PM, but this schedule may still change.
According to Ubisoft’s Yannick Banchereau, updates 1.4 and 1.5 brought significant changes regarding progression and character building. Many aspects were overhauled and made “more fun.” The aim of 1.6 is to elevate the remaining areas to a higher fun level.
All information about the test servers
We have already reported on the global PTS patch notes for 1.6. In them, you will find which content is available to you on the PTS. Please note that this information may still change. During the PTS phase, a lot of data and feedback will be collected and analyzed.
Only PC players can participate: You must own a copy of The Division (Uplay, Steam). That is sufficient as a participation requirement.
Why isn’t this possible on PS4 and Xbox One? The developers roll out new updates to the PTS at short intervals. This is only possible on PC since updates for consoles must first go through a certification process. Massive is more flexible on PC and can react faster. Nevertheless, they are still exploring options to bring the PTS to consoles in the future.
Will all PTS content also make it to the live game? No, the PTS are used to test things. Only then will it be decided whether the content will also be included in the live game.
To participate in the PTS, you need to download a new game client. You can find it under your Uplay games or in the Steam library.
You do not need to create new characters. The data will be transferred from the live game to the PTS. For testing purposes, you may be asked to create a new agent.
Your progress on the PTS will not be transferred to the live game.
When does the PTS phase end? As soon as Massive has enough data.
World of Warcraft is getting new Succubi – they are significantly more modest, wearing more clothing and armor.
While only a portion of the new features can currently be tested on the official World of Warcraft server – namely the expanded transmog system and the demon invasions – data miners are already scrutinizing the patch down to the smallest detail.
Among the numerous new models and game content that have already been extracted from the files, there is also a brand-new model for a Succubus. However, the demon lady of the Burning Legion is not as lightly dressed as her kin, but wears pants, significantly more clothing around the waist, and shoulder armor. She also comes with green eyes and wings.
The new model of the Succubus, from the Wowhead database.
However, it’s doubtful that these Succubi will replace the existing model of the Succubus, as they just received a massive overhaul in the last expansion, Warlords of Draenor. However, it is conceivable that this appearance could find its way into the spellbook of warlocks as a glyph.
It’s somewhat “suspicious” anyway, that Succubi in World of Warcraft: Legion had relatively little presence compared to the emergence of other demons. There are imps, hellhounds, wrath guards, and doomlords at every turn. However, Succubi only appear sporadically or are in disguise (such as on the Highmountain) or in the somewhat dubious “Chill Out Lounge” of the warlock, where they surely keep the men and women of the demon-summoning trade occupied for a long time.
Most likely, however, this new model represents a new trash mob in the Tomb of Sargeras or the Cathedral of Eternal Night. A boss in one of the two instances would also be possible. Story-wise, besides the “regular” Succubi, there is also the “Mistress of Pain”, who holds a higher rank, so perhaps that’s why the increased clothing. Or so.
In the MMO shooter Destiny, we take a look at the videos of the week. Bungie has released three videos, which we complement with works from our community.
Once a week, Bungie reviews all community submissions, selects the best videos, and rewards the Guardians who participated in the clips with a unique emblem. They can wear this emblem in-game with pride:
A video titled “Primitive” received an honorable mention. It is a nice montage:

Finally, Bungie has a clan tag for you. The clan “Natural Killer” is featured:

That was the end of the videos provided by Bungie. Now, let’s see what you have sent us.
This week, we received numerous montages and crucible scenes – of which we can’t show all in this article. We start with a short clip from Eskalios. He shows you how to stop a Nightstalker arrow – and then makes two clean kills:

In Ubisoft’s racing game The Crew, the major January update brings a new vehicle for the police. Additionally, there are leagues for both factions, new rewards, and improved balance.
A major update for the racing game The Crew is set for January 25, 2017. Included: The hefty McLaren 12C GT3 for the police faction. Perfect for ruining the fun of those unruly street racers. However, the new car is not the only highlight of the patch.
Better Balance and New Leagues
The January patch for The Crew is mainly responsible for greater fairness and better balance in the game. Here are the following new features in the update:
Improved player matchmaking for chases: Previously, it was common for three or four racers to face off against one poor police officer. This should be a thing of the past with the patch.
Changed skills: Some skills have been adjusted to ensure more fairness. Flashbangs are now stronger, impulse shocks have a 10-second longer cooldown, and the “Endless Nitro” cooldown has decreased from 30 to 20 seconds.
The police AI now reacts better to your progress and is more aggressive with higher-tier vehicles.
Rewards: Police and racers receive different rewards. These start at about 8,250 bucks and can rise to a maximum of 16,500 or drop to zero.
New leagues: Police and racers each get a new league with four tiers. You start in the 4th tier and can climb up to the 1st department.
Bug fixes: Some bugs have been fixed, including the bug with the disappearing GPS, incorrectly displayed scores in PvP, and a bug that prevented some abilities from triggering.
So, the January patch should result in fairer and more balanced races in The Crew. You can find the complete patch notes for the January update for The Crew in the source citation.

In The Division, Update 1.6 and Last Stand have a release date. Additionally, the PTS patch notes have been published.
The community developer Yannick Banchereau recently published the global PTS patch notes for 1.6 and Last Stand in the Ubi forum. The public test servers will start on January 24, so tomorrow. Moreover, Last Stand has a release date!
The release is on 28.2. on all platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and PC. That is a Tuesday.
Update: Just minutes after the post went online, the release date was removed. We have a screenshot showing the release date. What the removal of the date signifies remains to be seen.
New Incursion “Lost Signal”
The new incursion will be playable on the PTS in advance. Here are the first details:
It is called “Lost Signal” and takes place in a TV broadcast center.
The enemy faction: Rikers.
You need to clear three different building wings from the Rikers, each offering a different combat scenario. Tactics are said to be important.
Each wing holds rewards for you. Once you have mastered all three challenges, the final boss will appear, which is supposed to be the greatest challenge.
We can expect more information in the future.
Patch Notes for Update 1.6
As soon as the PTS opens, the PvP mode “Last Stand” will not be available yet. It will be activated during the testing phase.
However, you can test the new features of Update 1.6. Note that the provided patch notes are not final and may change before the release.
In The Division, the attribute “Armor” loses significance with Update 1.6. Other attributes are also changing.
Currently, armor is the best attribute you can have on your gear. High armor values are essential for every build, as they allow your agent to withstand more damage before going down. If “Armor” can be rolled on a piece of armor, it will be done.
If an attribute is the only logical choice for the gear bonuses, diversity is suppressed. Prior to 1.5, there were plans to find a solution to this problem, but the ideas were discarded. The developers and players on the PTS were dissatisfied with this.
With 1.6, Massive has now provided a fix that aims to address the core armor issue.
Armor is no longer a higher attribute – Update 1.6
Even in 1.6, armor pieces will have a base armor value, but the armor bonus will be removed as a higher attribute. Instead, health points will take its place. This means that health points and stamina will primarily be responsible for toughness – and no longer armor.
“Extra Armor” is being removed and replaced with health points
This is a change with significant consequences: The overall meta will be affected, damage, healing, and skill power must be rebalanced. However, there is an advantage that health points scale more linearly than armor, which will be better for balance in the long run.
Status Effects and Resistances
The armor bonuses on your current gear will therefore become health point bonuses. But what about the health point bonuses that are currently on your armors? These will convert to a new stat called “Resist All”, increasing resistance against status effects.
Currently, resistances give you a certain %-chance to completely resist the effect.
With 1.6, resistances will diminish the effect. For instance, if you have 40% resistance against burns, you will now take 40% less damage from it when on fire. The duration of the burn will also be shorter. If you achieve 100% resistance, you will be immune to this status effect at all times.
Additionally: Whenever you suffer from a status effect, you will temporarily receive a certain %-amount of resistance against it.
All changes will be tested on the PTS to refine them. After all, “Time to Kill” and “Time to be killed” still need to fit.
Changes to Skill Power
The changes to armor are meant to lead to greater build variety – as are the changes to skill power. In 1.6, the effectiveness of skill power scales depending on the world rank: At each higher rank, you will need to invest more skill power to reach the relative skill effectiveness.
Moreover, there will be greater differences between builds with a lot of skill power and builds with little skill power. This means that if you currently have a build in which you hardly increase skill power, your skills will be significantly weaker in 1.6. Conversely, if you fully focus on skill power, your build will perform even more powerful skills after 1.6.
To achieve these high skill power values, however, you will have to make choices: Other values will suffer as a result, and you will have to make sacrifices. This is aimed at achieving greater build diversity by Massive.
