The user interface of an MMORPG is important because it allows players to access the features. To make this as intuitive and engaging as possible, the developers of the MMORPG Crowfall will completely overhaul it soon.
Only a few MMORPGs manage to get by with a minimal UI. Often, windows and bars cover almost the entire screen. It’s essential for an online game to have a good UI that offers all the features the player needs without the so-called “screen clutter,” meaning too many necessary interface elements crowding the screen.
Therefore, the developers of the MMORPG Crowfall are putting a lot of effort into creating a good UI.
The UI is being completely overhauled
Billy Garretsen, responsible for programming the UI at Artcraft Studios, explains that with the new interface, they also want to create a unique look that clearly indicates it is Crowfall.
This look was developed by the team for the Kickstarter campaign, but it was lost over time. Now it is set to make its way back into the game, starting with the main menu, which will be bright white. However, the in-game interface elements will have a dark touch and be very simplistic.
Changes go live in 2017
The tooltips will also be revamped to make them more readable. Additionally, there will be more information when hovering over items or characters, and the interface through which you create your Eternal Kingdom will also experience a redesign, just like the skill tree and many other elements.
The changes will go live for Crowfall this year as the developers continue to work on integrating all other game elements into the PvP-focused MMO and gradually move towards a beta.
The action MOBA Paragon (PC, PS4) gets a new hero, the undead gunslinger Revenant. The shadowy bounty hunter fights with dark magic and a revolver. Additionally, he can force opponents into a duel a la High Noon.
Revenant is a dark gunslinger that represents an unholy mix of a brutal bounty hunter and a vengeful spirit. Therefore, behind the cowboy leather outfit, there is only darkness, and where a head should be, only red fire blazes in the darkness.
As is fitting for a gunslinger, Revenant shoots from a distance with his “hand cannon”, an oversized revolver. This allows Revenant to shoot four times and already deal a lot of damage. But there’s more. Revenant’s skills are:
Revolver Shot: Revenant carries a revolver with 4 shots. Once it is empty, it automatically reloads.
Hellfire Rounds: This allows you to reload your weapon at any time. Additionally, a passive effect causes extra damage with the fourth bullet.
Scar: Penetrates your target with dark energy and allows you to deal additional damage to the opponent.
Devastate: Fires a projectile salvo at randomly selected targets in front of Revenant.
Judgment: Revenant moves with his target into the shadow realm, where both engage in a duel. There, only Revenant can see his target, and both can only harm each other. If he manages to kill his opponent, he earns a bounty and thus additional card power.
Paragon – Revenant – Duel to the Death
Jürgen says: Especially the last ultimate ability of Revenant sounds extremely cool! Especially to quietly eliminate rather defenseless heroes, like supporters or injured enemies, “Judgment” should be perfectly suited. The only question that remains is how well this seemingly very powerful ability turns out in the end and whether the balancing fits with other heroes and their skills.
World of Warcraft is facing a time jump of 30-50 years. At least, that is if a well-thought-out theory proves to be true.
Patch 7.2 of World of Warcraft has been on the live servers for a while now. Although not all content is unlocked yet, there are more and more hints about the future of the lore. The latest data from the PTR (and thus Patch 7.2.5) is starting to fit together into a larger picture.
A theory has now emerged on Reddit from user Lionhearte, which is so far-fetched that it might actually be considered. Because it would give World of Warcraft a completely new appearance. The theory essentially states:
The transition to the next expansion will make 30 to 50 years pass in World of Warcraft.
Spoiler alert: The theory contains some spoilers from the current and upcoming patch. You have been warned.
Different Laws of Time and Space in the Nether
We already know that we will go to Argus with Patch 7.3 – into the Twisting Nether. Within the Twisting Nether, time is not a constant flow, but a strange variable. One does not age there, nor does one experience hunger in the usual way – the known laws are nullified in the Nether. While time passes in the Nether, it is faster or slower in other places. This has been proven in several instances, but a new Paladin quest with Turalyon and Alleria provides certainty.
During the Paladin campaign, they say that they have been “hunting the Burning Legion across the stars for a thousand years. ” This is unusual, as neither humans nor high elves live that long – and above all, the two just set off only about 20 years ago. This proves that the flow of time in the Nether follows different paths.

Another piece of evidence is the comic about Anduin, which was released before Legion. In the last picture, Anduin is seen with the Prophet Velen in the Exodar. However, Anduin appears to have aged significantly – surely 40 or 50 years.
According to the theory, Anduin remains on Azeroth while the heroes travel to Argus in Patch 7.3. Because the saying still holds: there must always be a Stark in Winterfell “there must always be a Wrynn in Stormwind”.
Time Continues on Azeroth While We Fight on Argus
While we fight on Argus and deal a devastating blow to the Legion, 40 to 50 years pass on Azeroth. The Old Gods are stirring again, as the absence of the strongest heroes has left the mortal races with little to resist them. Azeroth is changing – the Black Empire is rising once more, and the corruption of the gods is spreading further across Azeroth.
If we now return to Azeroth in Patch 8.0 – the next expansion – then most of the living will know us and companions like Illidan, Maiev, Khadgar, and all the other great heroes – including all NPC characters from the Order Halls – only from tales. Once Turalyon and Alleria were considered lost legends, now it’s us!
This would create an exciting, new world. We would have to re-establish ourselves as heroes since we have “abandoned” Azeroth in recent years while we were on Argus. The entire world – or parts of it – could be reshaped like during the Cataclysm. Thanks to the scaling mechanics from Legion, this would not be content just for “fresh characters,” but for all heroes, big or small.
Azeroth consumed by the Old Gods?
Sure, such a time jump would be a massive intervention in the game world. But it would also provide a fresh start through which new stories could emerge. Only the role-players might go up in arms about it – at least for a while.
What do you think of this theory? Would that be a cool implementation? Or is it all way too out there for Blizzard to ever implement it? What are your theories about the future of Azeroth?
Many players on PS4 are looking forward to the release of Destiny 2, which is set to take place in September. Others are waiting for the launch of the Morrowind addon for The Elder Scrolls Online. However, the waiting time can be excellently bridged with the MMORPG Skyforge.
Skyforge is not a typical MMORPG and therefore appeals to a broader audience. You do not explore a vast, open game world, but rather complete missions in groups, which may take place in both large and small areas.
Team play is paramount to achieve the goals of the quests. You want to defeat the enemies together, take down the boss opponent, and stop the invasion of alien gods.
The fact that you can choose your hero’s class anew before each mission makes the entire game system in Skyforge flexible.
Is it a good alternative to Destiny?
While Skyforge offers little loot compared to Destiny, the motivation arises because you can continuously unlock new classes to try them out in quests. Furthermore, you want to become a god yourself, which grants you an extremely powerful god form and followers, increasing your influence even further.
The competitive gameplay results from other players pursuing the same goals as you. They also want to become powerful gods, leading to the Pantheon wars, where gods fight each other.
PvP generally plays an important role. Player-versus-player battles, however, take place outside the story and quests in special arenas and different modes like Capture the Flag or Team Deathmatch. This division into a PvE and PvP part makes both parts feel well thought out, coherent, and balanced.
The gameplay differs greatly from Destiny, you do not need to “aim” here; enemies are automatically targeted. Classes like the “Gunner” do have similarities to the Guardians in Destiny:

The PvP part is more geared towards those expecting more “sport,” while the PvE part is designed for players who enjoy having adventures together with friends.
The story of Skyforge is a matter of taste and may be a bit too shallow for some. However, even the story of Destiny did not resonate well with all players. Skyforge is definitely worth a look for PlayStation 4 owners. Is it perfect? No, there are definitely areas for improvement.
Can ESO players bridge the gap until Morrowind?
For those currently waiting for the Morrowind addon for The Elder Scrolls Online, it is worth taking a look at Skyforge. After all, it can be downloaded for free and offers a fairly fair free-to-play model.

The adventures in Skyforge are not as epic as the stories in ESO, but MMORPG fans will still get their money’s worth.
If you want to learn more about Skyforge and know how the PS4 version plays, then read our review on it. Yes, Skyforge is different from ESO and Destiny, but that could make the online game interesting for this target audience. Because playing something different that still bears similarities to the favorite game brings a breath of fresh air into the hobby.
View of legendary items and set bonuses from the different Necromancer sets is now available in the data mining of Diablo 3.
Diablo 3 is expanded by the “Rise of the Necromancer” DLC with a new class in the game. This pack includes, among other things, the Necromancer, who has been revived for Diablo 3. On the test servers, the Necro was available for a few days to try out, but then received a forced break.
Experts took advantage of this break for data mining of Diablo 3. More details about the Necro have now emerged, showing set bonuses, legendary items, and equipment.
Necromancer Set Bonus
The data mining shows interesting results regarding the Necro sets. A total of four sets were found in the data and published on the Diablofans website. Unfortunately, there are no official names for the sets yet, just placeholders.
Set 1 – For the Companion Playstyle
2-piece bonus: Your companions have a chance to reduce the cooldown of Army of the Dead by one second with every attack.
4-piece bonus: You receive 1% damage reduction for 5 seconds when one of your companions attacks (up to 50 stacks).
6-piece bonus: Each active Skeleton Mage increases your companions’ and Army of the Dead’s damage by 200%
Set 2 – Skills with Life Resource
2-piece bonus: Bloody Path receives the effect of every rune.
4-piece bonus: If you are fully healed, healing from skills increases your maximum life for 45 seconds. Up to 100% more maximum life.
6-piece bonus: If you consume 10% life through skills, you lose 10% more life through skills (that consume life points), but deal 200% additional damage for 30 seconds. If you use a skill that heals you, it consumes a stack and makes the healing 300% more effective.
Set 3 – Bone Armor
2-piece bonus: The damage of Bone Armor is increased by 1000%.
4-piece bonus: Stacks of Bone Armor are now refreshed. In addition, Bone Armor grants 2% additional damage reduction per enemy hit.
6-piece bonus: Bone Armor also activates a Bone Tornado that inflicts 750% weapon damage on nearby enemies. Enemies hit by the tornado also take 1500% more damage from the Necromancer.
Set 4 – Bone Spear
2-piece bonus: Each corpse you consume fires a corpse fragment at a nearby enemy, dealing 800% weapon damage.
4-piece bonus: Each enemy hit by Bone Spear reduces your damage taken by 2%. Maximum 50% reduction. Lasts 15 seconds.
6-piece bonus: Each corpse you consume grants you a charge for an empowered Bone Spear. The damage of the next Bone Spear is increased by 1000%.
Additional Bonuses
In addition to the set bonuses, effects that are available through other legendary or set items were also found. These allow, for example, a free Death Nova after consuming 15 corpses or grant 50% increased movement speed after using Bloody Path. You can find all data mining results on the Diablofans website. Here are the data mining results on Diablofans.com
Keep in mind that the results of the data mining do not necessarily need to be implemented in the game “as is”, but may undergo changes or skills may be completely replaced.
Necromancer Pet, Armor, Set Bonuses, and Wings in Video
A video by Diablo 3 expert Bluddshed shows which cosmetic items for the Necromancer have been found. These include banners, portrait frames, items, but also new legendary gems that we might expect in the future in Diablo 3.

Normal type Pokémon can be found frequently in Pokémon GO. But which are the strongest and how to use them?
The monsters in Pokémon GO are assigned different types. Trainers often encounter Pokémon of the “Normal” type in the wild. While their normal attacks are not very effective against other Pokémon, they have only one weakness: Fighting Pokémon. Because they have only this one vulnerability, Pokémon of the type Normal are among the best gym defenders.
Due to their high hit points, attackers need a lot of time for the battle. During this time, they lose some hit points, even if the defenders have a low damage-per-second value. In the following list, we present the five strongest gym defenders of the type Normal. The ranks are sorted by CP. We will also show you the strongest move set of the corresponding monsters, measured by the damage-per-second value.
5. Miltank
In fifth place, Tauros should actually be standing due to its high defense stats. However, since you can only catch Tauros in North America, we take the next normal Pokémon that you can also catch in Germany.
Miltank is a decent defender, but there are significantly stronger options. With its defensive stats and hit points, it can hold its own against the other places in this list quite well. However, its attack stats are not particularly high, which is why it only made it to fifth place.
Best defender move set: Zen Headbutt and Body Slam or Zen Headbutt and Hyper Beam
4. Porygon2
Based on its attack stats, Porygon2 could also be a good gym attacker. Unfortunately, it belongs to the Normal Pokémon and is therefore not suited for attacking. Its attack and stamina values are above average, allowing it to take hits in the gym, but also dish them out.
Best defender move set: Hidden Power and Hyper Beam
3. Ursaring
Ursaring has one of the highest attack values in the game and also an above-average stamina value. With this combination and its high max. CP value, the monster secures third place. With a Hyper Beam equipped, you can also use Ursaring effectively as a gym attacker.
Although Heiteira has already been nerfed, it still has the highest stamina value in the game and can thus have more hit points than any other Pokémon in the game. This is accompanied by a high defense value. One can speak of a robust tank when it comes to Heiteira in Pokémon GO. If an attacker lacks enough power, they won’t manage to defeat Heiteira within the appropriate time. As a gym defender, this Pokémon is therefore a very good choice.
Best defender move set: Zen Headbutt and Dazzling Gleam
1. Snorlax
While Snorlax has less stamina and defense than Heiteira, it has a significantly higher attack. As a defender, it is similarly dangerous as Heiteira in second place. With a Hyper Beam at its disposal, you will not make it easy for attackers, and you can knock them out of the gym if they don’t dodge.
Jeff Kaplan from Overwatch has taken the time to respond in detail to some bizarre comments. You can see the result here.
What wouldn’t one give to have the developers read the comments on gaming magazines’ news, right? You could really tell the heads of Blizzard what’s on your mind, who “have anyway lost touch with their community”, right?
Well, exactly that happened now. Jeff Kaplan took the time at IGN to simply comment on a few remarks that have played out over weeks and months in the comment section of the site. Especially Kaplan’s reactions are grand, as he takes even the harshest insults with humor – but what choice does he have in front of the camera?
Here are a few translated examples:
“Nerf South Korea in the eSports area!” – “I don’t think it’s a matter of nerfing South Korea. We’d rather buff the rest of the world.”
“25 million sold games? I seriously doubt that Overwatch has sold more than 25 copies!” – “You may not believe in 25 million sold games, but I can put my hand in the fire for at least 3 sold copies of the game. We are very proud of that.”
“I want to see Junkrat in lingerie!” – “… alright, next comment!”
Anyone with a decent grasp of English should check out the full video; it’s quite entertaining:

What would you say to the developers of Overwatch if you could send them exactly one comment directly? Would you praise them or leave something disparaging?
The riddle of the warglaives in WoW Patch 7.2.5 seems never-ending – until now. Blizzard finally provides clarity.
In recent days and weeks, the datamining of the upcoming Patch 7.2.5 for World of Warcraft: Legion has caused quite a commotion among fans. Especially the warglaives of Azzinoth found in the game data have stirred up excitement. These belong to Illidan Stormrage and could be acquired during “The Burning Crusade” from the Black Temple – and this is still possible today.
With Patch 7.2.5, a timewalking version of “The Black Temple” is returning, allowing players at level 110 to revisit the old raid and be rewarded with solid gear for the maximum level.
Game data revealed that demon hunters can acquire a new template for their glaives: the warglaives of Azzinoth.
However, simply “going in and plundering” is not possible this time. Instead, demon hunters must have completed the achievement “Warglaives of Azzinoth” in order to unlock the transmog template in the timewalking version of the temple.
It was previously unclear whether it suffices to have the achievement for the blades on any character or whether it must be specifically on the demon hunter.
Glaives only need to be present on one character
Blizzard has finally clarified and explained via Twitter how the unlocking of transmog works.

As long as the original achievement “Warglaives of Azzinoth” is completed on any character of the account, defeating the timewalking Illidan will grant the template for the demon hunter weapons (regardless of which character then kills the timewalking Illidan).
Those who are among the lucky ones who completed the warglaive set back then can relax until the release of Patch 7.2.5.
Not all players enjoy flying in World of Warcraft. Cortyn is not a fan either – we reveal the reasons here.
I’ll be frank: I just can’t get used to flying in World of Warcraft: Legion. It’s the same discussion with every expansion, and yet I find myself getting upset about it time and again.
I can now fly again for almost a week – with all my characters. This makes traveling on the Broken Isles significantly faster and more convenient; I can fly directly to the “boss” NPC of a quest and save myself all the trash before it. Or I can loot the item at the very end of the ruins that I would otherwise have to fight through.
Scheduling was part of the game
When I couldn’t fly yet, I played World of Warcraft much more consciously and planned. I considered which emissary mission I had in Dalaran and then planned. Which world quest do I start with and where do I ride then? How do I best incorporate the 5-minute cooldown of my “Whistle of the Flightmaster” so that I have no waiting times?
This was a much more conscious, much more planned approach and thus also more interesting than it is now with the flying mount.
I am anyway faster than any flight route when I just fly manually. It was a small aspect of my daily gameplay that is now gone.
WoW with flying mount – Some world quests are now a bad joke
Aside from the loss of gameplay feeling, there are also some negative aspects that the developers clearly did not consider. Some world quests are absurdly trivialized by flying mounts. Do you remember the “How the Wind” quests, where you had to bounce through orbs and react at the right moment? Or the tasks from the Kirin’Tor, where an artifact must be found at the end of a flight course?
These world quests still exist – with one catch: They can be completed on a flying mount. The feeling of satisfaction when these missions are finally completed is gone. On average, they now take 4-5 seconds – and that’s no exaggeration.
Quest duration: 5-6 seconds.
The worst part for me is that the world has lost its beauty. This is hard to put into words, but when I looked at the Night Fortress in Suramar from the ground, it was this gigantic elven structure whose entire elegance was hard to grasp.
Sure, even during the “flight routes” you could see Suramar, the Temple of Elune, or Thunderbluff from above – but the perspective was predetermined. It didn’t take away its magic, it rather meant that these zones were perceived from a perspective that the developers deemed appropriate. No journey on my own mount compares to the great camera flight when you first fly past Thunderbluff.
No, I just can’t get used to flying in World of Warcraft: Legion.
What do I miss about flying?
But how could flying become a feature that is more than just a time-saver? More than just the complete trivialization of flight masters and the world quest whistle?
The answer is easy to find: Content that can only be accessed with the flying mount. How about a few world quests that take place high on a mountain peak or a floating island?
What’s stopping us from having a handful of hidden places that players can only discover on the back of a dragon or griffon?
Currently, flying is as interesting as it was in Warlords of Draenor: It was just thrown at you (after completing the achievement) with the motto “Here, here’s your time saver, enjoy”. But that bores me.
Flying without a mount – only Aviana can do that.
What do you think about flying in Legion? Has it improved your gameplay experience? Can you understand my position? Or do you see it completely differently?
A college in Missouri takes the leap and establishes a completely female eSports team for Overwatch, which is even supported by scholarships.
All-female teams are still a rarity in the competitive shooter scene. Sure, there are a few teams for Counterstrike, but a roughly equal distribution of genders is still a long way off.
Overwatch – a game with strong and diverse female characters
A small college in Missouri is now taking a bold step and plans to establish its own professional eSports team in the fall of 2017. Since it is a college exclusively for women, the team will also be entirely female. The chosen game is Overwatch, “due to its strong and diverse female characters.”
In general, eSports is simply seen as another form of sport that should be nurtured and promoted just like traditional sports.
“It’s different, it looks different, and it feels different, but it is – as you know – one of the fastest-growing industries and sports in the world,” says Dianne Lynch, chair of Stephens College.
The team is to consist of a total of 12 women. 6 of them are the core and the fixed team, 6 more are substitutes.
An atmosphere where female gamers feel comfortable
Women still face challenges when entering video games, as in this predominantly male domain, sexism manifests in the form of insults.
“Our hope is to establish a culture on campus where the only people playing in the room are women, so that a dynamic arises that eliminates that other, negative culture from their immediate environment.”
The team of Stephens College is set to make its eSports debut at the Tespa Collegiate Series.
The best part for the members of the team? The positions in the college’s eSports team will be filled with scholarships that cover a large part of the students’ costs.
One wishes to be a little younger again …
What do you think about this? Should eSports – like any other sport – already be supported in school? Or is it still more of a hobby that should have nothing to do with career during studies?
To make the battles in the upcoming online shooter Star Wars Battlefront 2 even more exciting and intense, the developers have come up with something.
In Star Wars Battlefront, it was the case that only the really good players or those who were very lucky could play as a hero in the battles. That is set to change with part 2. The chance to play as a hero will be significantly increased. However, this brings a problem, according to the developers.
Because when more heroes are running around in the levels, it becomes all the more depressing to play as a simple foot soldier who has barely any chance against Darth Vader or Luke Skywalker with their special abilities.
Groups fighting against heroes
To counteract this, group play is at the forefront. Together in a group, the chances of being able to defeat a hero are significantly higher. To promote this teamwork, a class system has been introduced. This essentially forces players to form a group consisting of different classes in order to exploit their advantages.
According to DICE’s Creative Director Bernd Diemer, groups actually have a chance to defend themselves against heroes, especially when the classes are played well and also leveled up. This then contributes to the fact that heroes are no longer solely responsible for turning the tide in a battle.
Every soldier should be something special
Additionally, there will be more personalization options for each player to give their characters more depth. This will happen through equipment and abilities. A trooper can specialize in throwing grenades, for example, which distinguishes him from others who fight with blasters. In this way, you create your own character to a certain extent.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be released on November 17 for PC, Playstation 4, and Xbox One.
The naval battle spectacle World of Warships receives a new faction. The French Navy makes its debut with a complete line of 10 cruisers. They all stand out for their high speed, making them particularly effective destroyer hunters.
World of Warships has primarily focused on the major nations of World War II so far. Therefore, Germany, the USA, Japan, Russia, and Great Britain are well represented with ships.
From now on, however, the French are also part of the game.

The naval forces of the “Grande Nation” were not very active during World War II, but the French Republic still had a few impressive ships in the ports. You can now take these ships, as well as a few post-war models, into battle in World of Warships.
In addition to the existing premium battleship Dunkerque, the current update brings ten standard unlockable French ships of the cruiser type to the game. Most of these are armed with light but quick-firing guns and fast torpedoes. Together with the high speed and good maneuverability of these ships, an ideal profile emerges: destroyer defense!
World of Warships – Death to the destroyers!
Destroyers are fast and agile, but they have little chance against cruisers with their small guns. The torpedo spreads of the small killer ships can be dodged quite well by the cruisers. The broadsides of the French cruisers are of little use against heavier ships, but light tin cans like destroyers cannot withstand such constant fire for long.
So, if you enjoy capturing mission objectives and liberating yourself from pesky destroyers, you should have fun with the French cruisers. Thanks to their torpedo armament, these fast French ships can also sink aircraft carriers and other cruisers in close combat.

In The Division we take a closer look at the loadouts and answer the most important questions.
Since April 21, PC agents can test loadouts for the first time on the PTS. Players on PS4 and Xbox One, on the other hand, have no choice but to wait until update 1.6.1 goes live in May. Only then can they enjoy this feature.
To make sure you know what to expect with loadouts, we answer some of the key questions here. Arekkz shows you the loadouts in the video, and we summarize the information afterward:

Loadouts describe the ability to save your character builds and quickly switch between them. This saves you a lot of time since you don’t have to change each item and ability individually when you want to switch to a different character setup.
In the game, you will find the loadouts in your inventory:
Between the overview and the “Character” tab, there is a new tab called “Loadouts” at the top. There you can access your loadouts. Additionally, you will see a message directly in the overview indicating which loadout you are currently equipped with or if it is an unsaved character setup (as seen in the image above, where it says “Loadout: Unsaved” on the right). This way, you can immediately see what your character is currently wearing.
The loadouts menu:
If you then click on the loadouts tab, you will enter this menu. All your loadouts will be listed on the left, with a maximum of 6 that you can save. On the right, you will see the saved weapons, armor pieces, mods, skills, and talents.
In this menu, you can equip loadouts, save and overwrite loadouts, delete loadouts, and rename loadouts. There is a limitation currently being criticized: The names for the loadouts cannot be freely chosen – you have to choose from predefined names like Assault, DPS, or Medic.
You save the loadouts by pressing the corresponding button (here F). Then the character build you are currently viewing will be saved to the loadout slot.
How do mods work with loadouts?
Questions about the loadouts:
If you want to use the same mods for two different loadouts, will they be automatically equipped when switching? Yes, the mods will automatically transfer from one loadout to another when you switch loadouts.
How quickly can you switch between loadouts? Once you have equipped a loadout, there is a cooldown of a few seconds. Only then can you switch to the next loadout.
Can the agent equip items from storage when switching loadouts? No, you must have the weapons and armor pieces in your character inventory. Items that are in storage are not automatically equipped when switching loadouts. Once you pick up the item from storage, the loadout is complete again. Until then, the corresponding items will be indicated in the loadout menu with a storage symbol, showing that these items are in storage and cannot be equipped. However, you can equip the incomplete loadout – just without the items in storage.
Can loadouts be switched during a fight? No. You must be outside of combat to do this.
Can you switch loadouts while a skill is in cooldown? No. You will get a message saying that this is not possible. For example, you cannot first activate the seeker mine and the turret, then switch to a loadout with two other skills and then use them. This is not the case with individual skills.
Are the loadouts cross-character? No, each agent has their own loadouts.

In the MMO shooter Destiny players collect raisins – and celery too. Why? Something exciting could still happen with them. Destiny 2 is changing that now.
Slowly, some Guardians are realizing the full extent of this statement: The raisins and celery are gone too!
Useless items raisins and celery enjoy cult status in Destiny
Bungie introduced the raisins as a joke during the first Halloween festival in Destiny. That was the “Festival of the Lost” in October 2015. While other NPCs were handing out masks and gifts celebrating the festival, the sourpuss Kassandra of the Destiny universe, Eris Morn, only gave raisins to every player.
In the USA, this is a Halloween tradition feared by children. The little ones are out for candy while they go door to door. If health-conscious adults only stuff “raisins” in their bags, that’s mean and is like a declaration of war.
It was meant as a gag by Bungie: Eris Morn doesn’t care about festivities; she’s the type who gives away raisins.
Never gives anything sweet: Eris Morn.
But players saw the raisins as a “mystery” that would eventually be unraveled. Gaming sites like the dreaded tabloid Mein-MMO.de wrote, “The function of these items is still unclear.” Not yet!
Since October 2015, Guardians have hoarded the raisins, waiting to trade them someday in a secret quest for something very special as a reward – something that the Destiny gods will grant only to the truly faithful!
The celery took it to the next level
A year later, when the Festival of the Lost returned in Destiny, Bungie showed that they had noticed this dedication. Bungie introduced an absurdly long quest chain involving Eris Morn, which began with a new box of raisins that sent Guardians racing through the entire Tower and ended with “celery.” Along the way, the shader “Superblack” was also released – and indeed a “piece of celery.”
Well, alright! Guardians said to themselves and packed the celery with the raisins in their vault: It must be good for something!
Destiny 2 on the horizon
Now with Destiny 2 on the horizon, it looks like Guardians will lose raisins and celery in the transition to the new title.
The years of storing the vegetables in the chronically too small vault would be in vain. The faith in the raisins would have been useless.
That can’t be true! Some Guardians on reddit are therefore demanding: Bungie, take everything away from me, but please leave me the raisins!
Admit it: You all still collect raisins and celery too.
In the future, costumes, weapons, and vehicles for specific themes could be expected in Ghost Recon Wildlands. A leak shows possible new content related to this.
A few days ago, the Narco Road DLC was released, presenting new content for Ghost Recon Wildlands. However, a large part of the community is not satisfied with this content and expresses strong criticism of the expansion. In the future, there will be more new content for GRW, which hopefully aligns more with what players are hoping for. A leak showcased optional costumes and vehicle packs that might provide visual variety in Wildlands.
Can Splinter Cell and Rainbow 6 convince players better than Narco Road?
Vehicle Packs and Costumes for Ghost Recon Wildlands
First leaks of costumes and packs, which could belong to Ghost Recon Wildlands in the future, appeared in a mod forum. User JRavens writes that after a bit of searching, he stumbled upon images of content that is not yet available in the store.
Note: With leaks, it is always possible that the production of this content has already been halted. There is no guarantee that these packs will actually be in the game in the future.
Here you see two vehicle skin packs. With the release of Narco Road, it is not surprising that there will be more options for vehicles.
Vintage – 70s-style cars
Inca – A South American theme as a vehicle skin (now available in the store)
For the next two packs, JRavens is not sure if they were briefly available in the store at the launch of the game. In any case, they are currently not in the store. They may be packs with individual items and not complete costumes.
Cyber – Science fiction in GRW
Dark – A gothic/metal theme in Wildlands
The following two packs have already been suspected by many players weeks ago, and it is quite possible that Ubisoft is considering such an implementation. As mentioned, there is no guarantee.
Splinter Cell
Rainbow Six
The next two packs could, according to JRavens, visually be related to Narco Road.
Love and Peace – Sign for peace on weapons? Sure!
Santa Blanca
For the next two images, there is uncertainty in the forum whether they are just placeholders or if they are indeed packages. They are listed as “Appearance Pack 1” and “Appearance Pack 2” and the names do not give any hints.
Appearance Pack 1
Appearance Pack 2
The next image in the leak has little to do visually with the military theme in Wildlands. A hat, a t-shirt, and other colorful items are said to be part of the Union pack.
Union
Unfortunately, the leak does not provide more images. Keep in mind that these are not DLCs, but optional content that might potentially be offered in the store.
In SMITE , something new is being introduced: The new god Ganesha can never steal a kill, no matter how hard he tries.
It has been a few weeks again, and for the developers of HiRez, this means that SMITE could use a new god once more. The next addition comes from the Hindu pantheon and is named Ganesha.
When the goddess Parvati created her son Ganesha, she commanded him to guard the door to their home while she washed herself inside. Parvati’s husband, Shiva, saw the boy as a threat and promptly cut off his head. When Shiva learned that Ganesha was his own son, he wanted to save him and replaced the head with that of the wisest creature in the world – an elephant. Thus, the kind-hearted, friendly, benevolent, and sometimes playful Ganesha was truly born.

In SMITE, Ganesha is a guardian who excels at crowd control. Additionally, he can never “steal a kill” from a teammate – as his passive ability does not allow it.
The passive ability Good Fortune ensures that in the event of a kill by Ganesha, a nearby allied god receives the kill credit, while Ganesha only gets an “assist”. Additionally, he has an increased assist range.
Turn of Fate fires a projectile in a straight line that hits all enemies. For each enemy god hit (up to 5), all allied gods near Ganesha deal additional damage.
With Ohm, Ganesha is slowed while channeling a spell. In a cone area in front of him, all enemies are silenced for the duration of the channel. Allied gods nearby receive additional physical protection during this time.
Remove Obstacles is Ganesha’s movement ability. He charges forward in a straight line, ignoring player-created obstacles (such as Ymir’s Ice Wall). The first god hit is briefly held, takes damage, and is then knocked up into the air.
The Ultimate Dharmic Pillars creates a large rectangular area. The four corners are connected by magical fields. If an enemy touches this field, they are slowed, take damage, and have reduced protection for 3 seconds.
If there are no major issues, Ganesha will be released on PC in the middle of next week.
In Destiny the Vex Mythoclast is back. What is the former “divine weapon” worth in Year 3 in PvE and PvP?
Once it was divine, then it was nerfed, then it was bugged, then it disappeared – this summarizes the history of the Vex Mythoclast in short.
In Year 1, this weapon entered the stage of Destiny with a bang when the Hard Mode in the Raid “Vault of Glass” became active. Suddenly Atheon dropped an exotic fusion rifle that was used in the primary slot and dominated the Crucible at will. It quickly became apparent that the Vex Mythoclast was overpowered. A powerful combination that had no weaknesses.
The Vex Mythoclast is an exotic fusion rifle that is used in the primary slot and deals Solar damage. It can also drop from Atheon in Year 3. For this, you have to play the Vault of Glass at 390 Light Level and eliminate the final boss. Then there is a chance that the Vex will be available as loot.
These are the base stats of the Vex Mythoclast:
However, these are only the stats “on paper.” Thanks to the exotic perk, the start-up time, one of the weaknesses of fusion rifles, is completely eliminated:
Perpetual Mythoclast: The charge time is eliminated. The weapon fires a bolt with each trigger pull.
Zen Moment: Damage dealt increases stability.
Mass Control: Kills with this weapon provide bonus damage for a short time.
You have the choice between:
Lightweight: +2 character agility
Increased Magazine
Sentinel: Increases range and precision. Harder to handle, decreased ammo capacity
With Linear Compensator, Aggressive Ballistics, and Drift Control you can influence recoil, range, and impact.
The optimal Time-to-Kill of the Vex Mythoclast is outstanding at 0.8 seconds, with this even better with active perks. Just this TTK and the exotic perk make the Vex a very special weapon even in Year 3.
Info about the Vex Mythoclast in Destiny – Is it worth it in PvP and PvE?
Info about the Vex Mythoclast:
You can operate this fusion rifle fully automatically by holding down the trigger.
The weapon has an enormous recoil, making it nearly impossible to achieve multiple precision hits quickly over larger distances. Therefore, rely on Drift Control to better control the weapon.
The Vex does not have hit-scan, but fires projectiles that must first overcome the distance to the enemy. This means it takes a short moment for the shots to arrive.
In Year 3, the Vex Mythoclast is by no means as strong as the OP version in Year 1. However, if Solar Ignition or Sidearms is active in PvE, it almost blooms again as in its old glory days. In PvP, it is hardly usable at longer distances, but can achieve nice kills at closer range. In Year 3, however, it is significantly more difficult to use the weapon effectively.
By the way: You can apply this ornament called Chrono Shot to the Vex:
Next week, the update 1.06 for For Honor will be released. This aims to further stabilize the game and bring new features.
Ubisoft has released another “This Week in For Honor” article, where the developers discuss the future and current status of the game. This time, the focus is on a new update, the update 1.06.
The end of the first faction war season brings patch 1.06
Next week, the first season of the Faction War in For Honor will end. The winning faction will be rewarded with some prizes, which we will report on. It is expected that the overall victory will be decided between the Vikings and the Samurai, as both have so far secured two round wins.
With the end of this season, on April 25th, the update 1.06 will be implemented. It will be released first on PC and a few days later on consoles.
Update: The update has been postponed indefinitely.
The patch 1.06 includes some interesting new features. It will now be faster to find new matches. The rematch timer will be reduced from 90 to 60 seconds and the “Join-In-Progress” feature will be introduced. However, this will be activated later. This feature allows free slots to be filled after a match ends when other players finish searching for a game. So far, matchmaking has been canceled when too many players leave this screen.
Furthermore, the network stability and performance will be improved, which is always welcome. In addition, some heroes will be adjusted: The Peacekeeper will have the “light attack” spam nerfed by increasing some cooldowns. The “Hurricane Blast” of the Orochi will be buffed. Also, Shugoki, Berserker, Warden, and Lawbringer will receive adjustments. You can find the complete patch notes on the Ubisoft page.
More information:
Currently, an event command is running until April 24th. You, as a community, need to execute as many executions as possible in domination matches. If you succeed, you will receive 2000 steel.
You can acquire these new elite outfits:

The horror game Friday the 13th: The Game has a release date and a trailer. The trailer is characteristically brutal and shows Jason Voorhees at work, and you wouldn’t want to be his work material.
Gun Media has announced the release date for Friday the 13th: The Game. Friday the 13th: The Game will be released on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 26 – however, only the multiplayer half of the game. A single-player campaign will be added later. In the single-player campaign, players will control the killer.
The game is expected to cost around 40 US dollars – which will likely also be 40 euros.
Friday the 13th: The Game – Asymmetrical Multiplayer Horror on PS4, Xbox One, PC
The game has been in development for several years and has certainly been watched with interest. Originally it was known as “Slasher Vol 1: Summer Camp” and was funded through a crowdfunding campaign.
Really brutal
It was later changed to “Friday the 13th: The Game” when the license was obtained. The director of Friday the 13th had intended to create a game anyway, and it seemed to fit well.
We released a trailer in mid-March that showcases the brutal executions in the game. The game sets new standards for brutality.
The game is a so-called asymmetrical online multiplayer game. This means: 1 killer faces off against up to 7 “Survivors” or “Victims”. It aims to stay as true to the films as possible.
Even in the new launch trailer, you can see the brutal ways in which Jason Voorhees eliminates victims and how desperately they fight back against it.

Friday the 13th: The Game currently has a competitor on PC, “Dead by Daylight”, which essentially follows the same game principle. Dead by Daylight is also set to be released for PS4 and Xbox One – but only in June. So Friday the 13th will have an advantage – and of course, the strong license behind it helps.
Let’s see which killer has the last slaughter in the end.
