The classic rules for world bosses
World bosses have existed in World of Warcraft since Classic and basically appeared in every expansion in some form – only Wrath of the Lich King did not have a world boss.
For most of Classic, there were 6 different world bosses:

Today’s reality is hard to imagine: Back then, there were strict rules on how to proceed when multiple raid groups gathered to blow out the boss’s life lights. The raid group that was fully formed first was allowed to start. If the group failed, it was then raid group number 2’s turn and they had one attempt. This is how raid groups had to take turns until one group managed to get the kill. Anyone who did not adhere to the rules could subsequently be punished with bans.
By the way, a special treat were the passive abilities of world bosses. If you died in the fight against the big dragons, you were hit with a debuff that lingered beyond death. Early on, we help an envoy of the Tribunal (the religion of the Dark Elves) and thus come to Vivec, one of the three living gods of Vvardenfell. From Vivec, we also receive the main quest of the new chapter, which takes us across the island and uncovers many old mysteries.
If you remember the old Morrowind, you will encounter many cool hints, cameos, and Easter eggs as an additional treat. For example, cryptic warnings about “a evil that is yet to come” or the return of the “Nerevarine”.
The Elder Scrolls Online – With Bow, Bear, and Cliff Racer!
Like almost all other players on the test server, we also played a Guardian for Morrowind. The new class focuses on nature magic and heavily relies on various animals that can be unleashed on enemies. The first skill learned is a diving attack from a Cliff Racer. These were the annoying flying lizards that everyone hated back in Morrowind.
Now you can throw them in the face of your enemies as a surprisingly cheap and quick ranged attack. Since you can skill the croaking death via Morph to deal more damage at long distances, we decided on a bow as our main weapon for our Guardian. Only it becomes a problem when the enemy doesn’t stay at a distance.

The exotic flora and fauna of Vvardenfell, the quirky Dark Elves, the grim mysteries of the island: all that was already great in TES 3: Morrowind is back in TESO: Morrowind. And the new hero is also a lot of fun. Many fans have wondered whether this content will be exclusive to the Deluxe Edition of Star Wars Battlefront 2.
Christian Johannesén, one of the designers of the shooter, spoke out on Twitter about this and explained that the contents of the Deluxe Edition can also be unlocked in the game. This means that those who have not purchased the Deluxe Edition of the game can also access the above-mentioned content – however, it will take some time to unlock all weapons, mods, and other items.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 will feature the single-player campaign long desired by fans of the first part but will also bring many changes to the online mode. Further details about the online shooter are planned for E3, which will be released on November 17 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
In PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, an annoying exploit is causing some trouble. Incorrectly revived players can become “undead” who neither die nor live properly, thus ruining the game.

So far, so good, but if your merciful Samaritan happens to be shot the moment your avatar is about to get back on their feet, the glitch strikes! Your teammate passes away, and you are forever trapped in a bizarre limbo. Similar to the cat in Schrödinger’s theoretical experiment: You are not dead, but not alive either. You remain a crawling severely injured player for the rest of the game.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds: The perfect troll exploit
This player can do nothing but crawl, but they are also no longer killable and do not bleed out on their own. Thus, the game is essentially over, as this player will definitely be left standing at the end and win the game. Or ruin it for everyone if two or more opposing players encounter such a fate. Then, after a long time, it eventually ends in a draw, and everyone is annoyed!
As a guaranteed victory exploit, the glitch is hardly useful, but for trolling everyone with endless draws, it is perfect!
The glitch only occurs in teams, but there too, more often than one would like. Players on Reddit complain about rounds that were either entirely unfairly won by a crawling zombie or went on for hours without a winner, as the last survivors were also just crawling zombies.
So far, there has been no official feedback from the developers regarding the “Schrödinger glitch.” However, it is to be hoped that Bluehole will improve this soon, as such an error ruins the fun for everyone!

After receiving a nanoboost from Ana, he hammers down the enemy team and charges forward. A few swings later, he has charged his ultimate once again. This is likely one of the very few “Play of the Game” videos where the protagonist can use his ultimate 2 times. Hats off for that, you don’t see that every day.

After 500 wins with a class, in Hearthstone it stops. What Ben Brode thinks about it, we reveal in this article.
In Hearthstone, there are a variety of rewards for completing matches. This ranges from completing quests to the “3 wins = 10 gold” rule to the card chaos, where a new card pack awaits every week. There has been a special reward so far when winning 500 games in ranked mode with a class. You receive the golden hero portrait along with the character’s animated ability.
Although 500 wins are by no means insignificant and most players have not yet unlocked that for any class, fans are longing for even more rewards. Particularly frustrating: the statistics stop counting after the 500th win with a class. So, if you do not manually – or through an external program – keep track of your wins, it’s easy to lose track.
While sifting through social media, the colleagues from hearthhead noticed some statements from the developers regarding this matter.
According to them, the game will soon be able to document wins beyond 500.
Wins will be counted, no new rewards
Aside from that, the news is rather bleak. According to Ben Brode, there are currently no plans to implement new rewards for about 1000 or more wins with a class. This would encourage “farming,” which is something they actually do not want. Players should have fun in Hearthstone and not just choose the fastest deck with the shortest matches because it would lead them to a reward more quickly.
However, rewards are not completely off the table, but they will – if at all – appear elsewhere.

An Australian snooker professional and former world champion has a gaming problem. He is addicted to online games like LoL or WoW. This has harmed his career. He refers to himself as a “cold turkey addict.”
Eurosport reports on Neil Robertson. He is a billiards professional, considered the strongest snooker player from Australia. He was even world champion in 2010.
He is 35 and explains that he is currently going through a “cold turkey” after being addicted to video games like League of Legends or WoW for years. Playing these online games negatively impacted his billiards career.
WoW suddenly became more important than snooker – that is madness
Robertson was part of a WoW raid group. He raided several nights a week. When Robertson had to go to a snooker tournament in China, he couldn’t participate in the raids because the connection was so bad. He was upset about this for four or five days.
He couldn’t think of anything else but his raid spot in WoW. That suddenly became much more important than his actual profession, playing snooker. It was totally insane.
Robertson realized he had a problem when he preferred to play computer games all night instead of preparing for snooker training.
LoL is poison for a structured daily routine
Robertson reacted even worse to the MOBA League of Legends. It sucks you in, you play hour after hour – 4, 6, 8 hours long. Suddenly, it is 6 AM and you have to take the child to school and go to training.
Especially since he became a father, playing has conflicted with his fatherhood. LoL is the worst game of all, it literally consumes you. His wife hates it so much that she has banished LoL from the house. That is the right thing to do, it is simply terrible.
Robertson seems to have managed his problems by now. He has currently replaced the video game with “Warhammer 40k.” For the strategy tabletop game, he now paints models in his free time.
In an interview with Eurosport, Robertson says he wants to be a positive role model for his son now. The child comes home from school and talks about YouTubers. It is way too early for that. He has resolved to take his son outside. Now he takes him to the park and plays soccer.
The addiction potential of online games should not be underestimated

Some fans hope that Crews and Kaplan are lying to keep the suspense alive and surprise the players. However, that seems more like a desperate wish for a new announcement rather than an actual possible scenario.

The new voice teaser was found on the PBE servers of League of Legends and published on the Surrender@20 website. These voice lines trigger when Ezreal moves for the first time on the test servers. It seems that this teaser is announcing a new Pulsefire skin.
Why is a Caitlyn skin assumed?
When Ezreal asks about a RAN diagnosis in the video, the answer is interrupted by a disturbance. You can briefly hear the words “Nowhere to hide” in the video, which belong to Caitlyn’s voice lines. The suspicion that a possible new Pulsefire skin is related to Caitlyn is therefore plausible.
To hear this teaser yourself, you only need to start a game with Ezreal (and an active Pulsefire skin) on the test servers and move around.

The first Pulsefire-themed skin was released in 2012 and was for the champion Ezreal. Since then, however, things have been quiet regarding this skin theme. On one hand, this makes sense, as these skins are supposed to be special. If there were to be a new Pulsefire skin every two months, the magic would be broken. On the other hand, there are many fans of these skin concepts.
But just because Riot doesn’t publish new skins doesn’t mean the community is staying quiet. There is a custom skin for Lucian with a Pulsefire theme. This is, however, not officially from Riot, but just a fan project.

More Pulsefire skins are certainly something the community desires. That is why the teaser is already well received in the community, and many players hope that it really announces a special skin for Caitlyn.

A defining moment was the infamous line of the Exo Stranger that she didn’t have time to explain why she didn’t have time for explanations. Thus, the story in Destiny 1 just meandered: while the Guardians were presented with story content, only a few had a clear overall picture.

Before we tackle the “really big questions”, we want to know: What is behind that one door in the Tower?
Many Guardians have been wondering about this since the alpha. It’s the door where Xur occasionally stands, the door near the Speaker. There was hope that it would eventually open – similar to how the area where Lord Saladin stood opened monthly before “Rise of Iron”.
As the Tower is destroyed in Destiny 2, it is unlikely that we will ever get an answer to this. But here it’s like with raisins and celery: One does not give up hope for a higher meaning, one day this door could still become significant…
Is Queen Mara Sov still alive?
Is the queen dead or is she still alive?
This is a question that Guardians have enjoyed discussing extensively in the past.
Some are convinced that Mara Sov, the queen of the Reef and the Awoken, could not survive the attack by Oryx.
Others say: Nonsense, the queen is still alive; she was able to save herself in time.
What about her? No one has known for 2 years.
In a Bungie livestream a year ago, it was stated that the queen will still play a major role. However, whether this statement is still valid is unclear. Bungie’s last statement regarding Mara Sov was in August 2016. During an interview about Rise of Iron, the developers were asked several questions about the lore and story of Destiny. Bungie mentioned that one should not rule out that the queen still lives. Shortly before, they also revealed that we had no idea of the true power of the Cabal.
In the reveal trailer for Destiny 2, there are already signs that we will deal with the queen in the sequel. Many warriors wear the queen’s logo in the trailer. And in games, the old Hollywood rule applies: As long as you don’t see a body, no one is dead.
Finally, a Grimoire card that brought Age of Triumph suggests that the prince of the Awoken is still alive. Then the queen could have survived the attack by Oryx…
What exactly is Darkness?
The Guardians fight the Darkness with their light, and the PvE enemies are referred to as Minions of the Darkness. This is the setting presented to us and with which most are satisfied. The Darkness is the evil that must be fought. Period.
But what exactly is “the Darkness”? In fact, no one really knows what the term “Darkness” encompasses. It is described as an ancient and powerful opponent of the Traveler – a force that hunted him through the universe and was responsible for the collapse. Once, Darkness ruled over the universe. The Hive believes they must destroy the light in order to reclaim the reign of Darkness.
Whether we will ever see the “true presence” of Darkness remains to be seen.
Eris Morn – Is she really on our side?
With “Darkness lurks”, Eris Morn came to the Destiny universe. Since then, she represents the mysterious, the ominous, and the unfathomable threats. Cayde-6, with his easygoing nature and “go for it” mentality, is the counterpart to Eris Morn, leading to amusing moments between the two since “King of the Taken”.
Eris has already proven her support twice in the fight against Crota and Oryx – but her motives and personal goals remain unknown. She “is not allowed” in the Hall of Guardians, but stands only at the stairs in the Tower, which could indicate that the Guardians – led by Cayde-6 – still do not trust her. And her creepy third Hive eye also raises questions: How strong are her connections to the Hive or her hidden Hive powers?
Interesting: Bungie has made several references to Greek mythology in Destiny. In it, Eris is the goddess of strife and known for her “apple of discord”. In Destiny, Eris Morn is constantly holding a spherical object. Is that a coincidence? The goddess Eris has a true form, which she only reveals when she can stir up hatred and envy among humans.
