Currently, there are Legendaries available for free in World of Warcraft – at least for your followers. The bonus “Worthy Champions” makes it possible.
At present, players of World of Warcraft are mainly focused on constructing buildings at the Broken Isles. Every few days, the buildings are completed to grant bonuses for 3 days before being torn down by the Legion again. In addition to some fixed bonuses, others are rolled randomly – and this time is no different.
Currently, the command center is completed in Europe. Head to the Broken Isles and finish constructing the command center. Then return to Commander Kammerer, who is next to the table where you can turn in your war supplies to the Legion Judges. He will grant you the buff “Worthy Champions”.
Merris’ Outskirts is interactable with the “Worthy Champions” buff
This buff alone has no effect, but it only allows you to interact with a new NPC.
Turn around and enter the newly built command center. In the back right corner, you will find Merris’ Outskirts, a human NPC. He should now have a blue exclamation mark over his head. Speak to him and receive your box with champion equipment.
The box contains at least one piece of legendary quality equipment. The bonuses are remarkable and will serve you and your champions well. For instance, there are strong combination effects, such as for a bodyguard companion: You receive 100 order resources and 50 gold every time you complete a world quest.
Other armor pieces are more specialized and tailored to specific classes. Most of the time, the success rate for a mission is drastically increased.
Please note that you can only pick up the box as long as the command center is completed. So there’s just under 2 days left until the evening of April 23.
In Destiny 2, the gameplay reveal in May 2017 is expected to answer all questions regarding the next adventure.
In the “This Week at Bungie”, the weekly letter to the community, DeeJ briefly looks at the future of Destiny and provides information on the current state of Destiny 1.
Yesterday, on April 20th, a hotfix was implemented. This update 2.6.0.2, in addition to several adjustments, also brought the error code Centipede, which was preventing Guardians from playing, but should now be resolved. The patch fixed an issue in the Trials of Osiris that caused endless matches. Since the trials start today, Bungie will closely monitor whether the fix works as intended.
Everyone is waiting for May 18th
Guardians are eager for new information about Destiny 2. Bungie knows this. After the reveal trailer at the end of March, official information has been scarce. The roadmap indicates that the developers will not speak about the sequel until May 18th again, and it seems they are mercilessly sticking to this schedule.
The gameplay reveal will take place on May 18th, where the first in-game footage will be shown. Bungie is planning a large-scale premiere, for which rehearsals are currently taking place behind the scenes. Until then, DeeJ can only refer to May 18th week after week. He will repeat this until the deadline.
The “Destiny 2” gameplay reveal will answer all questions about your next adventure, says the community manager. In recent weeks, he has shared that he is collecting numerous questions in the forums to address them in the future when the time is right. We have to wait another tight month.
Next week there will be no Wrath of the Machine on 390
Currently, Wrath of the Machine is running as a featured raid. You can play this raid in the new 390 light level version and obtain new exotic adept weapons. Unlike other raids, the 390 version will not be available in the coming weeks – instead, the original 380 level will return. This means:
You can only complete the “Machina Maxima” milestone in the record book if Wrath of the Machine is the recommended raid. After this week, this will be possible again starting May 16th.
The loot system of Heroes of the Storm is being revamped with HotS 2.0. But how does it work exactly and what are the chances of obtaining epic and legendary items?
The basic mechanics of Heroes of the Storm 2.0 are similar to Overwatch. You receive a box at each level, which can contain four items. Unlike Overwatch, however, there is no guarantee that there will be at least one rare or better item. With a bit of bad luck, you might only pull mediocre items of common rarity.
At first glance, that sounds really dumb! However, there are two concepts that make the HotS loot system fundamentally cooler than in Overwatch:
You will always receive a rare or epic box from time to time. This contains an item of the specified rarity or something better.
You can re-roll the contents of the boxes for gold! This can be done a total of three times per box, costing 250, then 500, and then 750 gold. Be careful! The re-roll is completely independent of the previous roll and can indeed be worse, so don’t re-roll legendaries; it is unlikely a new legendary will come out!
Heroes of the Storm 2.0 – The loot statistics
Thanks to the guaranteed boxes and re-rolls, the chances of getting legendary items increase significantly. But let’s start with the basics. The colleagues at PCGamesN opened 524 boxes. Their result:
504 common items
401 rare items
148 epic items
43 legendary items
Since each box contains four items, the chance of at least one rare item per box is 76.53 percent, 28.24 percent for an epic, and 8.21 percent for a legendary item. According to this rule, PCGamesN suggests that every 12th to 13th box should contain a legendary item.
HotS 2.0 – Faster legendaries thanks to re-rolls
In reality, though, the testers at PCGamesN usually got their legendaries after just 8 to 9 boxes. The reason was the re-roll mechanic in combination with the boxes, which guarantee rare or epic contents. Because even if the re-roll recalculates all items completely anew each time, the guaranteed rare or epic item will definitely remain a rare or epic item.
So imagine, you open an epic box and, at worst, receive three lame common items and the guaranteed epic. You would be foolish not to re-roll, as each of the common items has a 28.24 percent chance of becoming something better. The epic item has a 97.95 percent chance of being another epic item, but there is also a 2.05 percent chance it could become legendary! Also, keep in mind that in HotS 2.0, there is an anti-bad-luck algorithm that guarantees you a legendary item eventually, which also comes into play during re-rolls.
Heroes of the Storm 2.0 – Gold is not the limit
With the new re-roll mechanic, gold in Heroes of the Storm becomes even more valuable, as anyone who already has many heroes can spend the 10,000 gold for a new character in up to 40 re-rolls, which should statistically generate four legendary items. But first, you need a stack of boxes, and those can only be obtained by leveling up diligently. So, you are likely to suffer from a shortage of boxes rather than gold.
Jürgen says: Wow, this all sounds pretty cool. However, I am curious whether these numbers will still hold true after the release of HotS 2.0 on April 25th or whether Blizzard will adjust them. What do you think about the new loot mechanic? Let us know in the comments!
In the MMO shooter Destiny , a patch for PS4 and Xbox One will be deployed tonight, April 20th. It is Hotfix 2.6.0.2 (1.33 on PS4). The server status of Destiny should not be affected by the hotfix. The patch notes are now available.
The schedule for the hotfix tonight – No server downtime expected
At 7 PM, players will be prompted to download the hotfix the next time they go to orbit. Maintenance, downtime, or server downtime is not planned and not necessary for Destiny (PS4, Xbox One).
7 PM is not set in stone – it might take a little longer. Impatient players can speed up the patch process via “Manual Check for Updates”.
Anyone who has not installed the hotfix by 11 PM will be removed from activities and thrown back to the sign-in screen. They will then have to install it.
All time references are to our German time, CEST.
What changes does the update bring to Destiny? Patch Notes
Bugs are to be fixed and some “comfort features” will be added.
It is already known that a fix for problems in the “Trials of Osiris” is expected. Sometimes matches just do not end. The patch is supposed to fix this today.
When the patch notes for the update to Destiny are available, we will update this article here.

A bug was fixed where viewing characters on Bungie.net or third-party tools falsely changed some seal book objectives, which often led to a notification.
Issues – Centipede
Since around 8 PM, there have been issues with Destiny: Guardians are being kicked from the game and cannot log in anymore. The error message “Centipede” appears. This stands for a general network error. It is not your network, but the Bungie servers. Several Guardians are currently reporting this. It is currently unclear when it will run smoothly again.
In the meantime, we recommend reading this article:
Tanks in World of Warcraft have it a bit easier now. The challenge of the Mage Tower “Return of the Highlord” has been significantly nerfed.
Without exaggeration, it can be said that the Mage Tower challenges from the Broken Shore are among the most difficult content in World of Warcraft that solo players have ever experienced. Only a fraction of all players have managed to complete the respective challenge so far. Especially the challenge for Tanks, “Return of the Highlord,” has proven to be particularly tough, and particularly Blood Death Knights are struggling with it.
The reward is a noble appearance variant for your artifact weapon, which only a few players have managed to obtain so far.
Mage Tower – Tank Challenge “Return of the Highlord” in WoW heavily nerfed
Blizzard has now also realized that the challenge for Tanks was overall harder than intended, and has implemented a hotfix that brings the following changes.
Highlord Kruul and Inquisitor Variss now have 10% less health.
Kor’vas Bloodthorn now has 100% more health.
Netherscreams and Tormented Eyes now have 20% less health.
Smoldering Hellbeasts will now be summoned less frequently.
Overall, these changes make the challenge easier, but it can still not be described as “easy” yet.
Further changes from the hotfix on April 19
Additionally, the hotfix has fixed several small bugs.
The first beacons of the Sentinax now last 10 seconds longer and excess beacons can now be sold to vendors.
The initiator of the Sentinels has now learned to fly and uses his abilities more often.
Last but not least, some flight paths have been improved that previously took unusually long detours.
The hotfix has already been implemented in America yesterday (April 19, 2017). In Europe, it is likely to be deployed to the servers tonight (April 20, 2017) as well.
Have you been able to complete your class challenge yet? Or are you still waiting a few weeks or even months before you try again?
The new stunt mode in GTA 5 Online makes the hearts of older GTA fans beat faster. With the top-down view, it feels like the early parts of the series.
The “older” among you may still remember the early parts of GTA. Those who drove stolen cars and buses back then had a hard time seeing what was happening in front of them and what obstacles might be in the way. The top-down view, which is a strong trademark of the first GTA games, was to blame. In the new GTA 5 Online mode, the retro view will soon return and hopefully provide a lot of fun.

The new game mode brings a touch of classic to the still modern Grand Theft Auto 5. The first seconds in the trailer remind one of a smartphone app where you can race. However, it quickly becomes clear that you don’t have to miss the usual action you know from GTA 5 and can still enjoy the retro camera style from a bird’s-eye view.
Screenshot from GTA 1
“Eliminate other drivers to survive” is one of the tips that the developers give you for these races. There are various power-ups on the racetracks like bombs, miniguns, or rockets that can quickly destroy your modified rides. It also seems that in this mode, there are smoke bombs that suddenly darken the environment.
Tiny Racers is a stunt race in retro style and will be released for the online mode of GTA 5 next week Tuesday, on April 25.
(Similarities to Micro Machines are purely coincidental.)
4/20 in GTA 5 – Today is Weed Day

So you can celebrate the day properly, Rockstar is offering not sports cigarettes, but a 50% discount on green tire smoke at LS Customs.
Tomorrow, on April 21, the PTS for the Update 1.6.1 for The Division will start. Agents can finally test the loadouts.
Agents have been waiting for loadouts in The Division for over a year – the ability to save builds and switch between them quickly. In mid-March 2017, the announcement came: Loadouts are coming in the summer! Last week, however, Massive surprised with the news: Loadouts are coming this May – with Update 1.6.1!
Before the release of 1.6.1, the changes of this update will be thoroughly tested. As Massive announced today during the “State of the Game,” the testing phase (PTS) will begin tomorrow, on April 21, likely around noon, around 12 PM. The build has already been updated, and you can start the preload by tomorrow morning at the latest, according to the developers.
However: The PTS for 1.6.1 is only available for PC agents. It is required that you own The Division. How long the public test servers will be live is yet to be seen.
What new features are on the PTS?
The complete patch notes for the PTS for 1.6.1 will be published tomorrow, but Massive has already given an outlook:
You will gain access to loadouts
You should primarily test the adjustments in “Last Stand.” There are bug fixes and a new feature called “Proficiency Marks,” which will allow you to earn more points and loot if you perform well
Revive bugs will be fixed
Issues with high-value targets (HVTs) will be fixed, causing bosses not to leave their spawn rooms
Extended magazines at level 34 now offer a magazine size increase between 109 and 121%
Changes to the Spry Talent – The healing effect is now a heal over time (4 seconds). Additionally, you must be in cover to charge it.
Bug fixes at the improvement station
Flinch will be reduced
Numerous bug fixes, such as with talents, in the new incursion, and in the Underground
Moreover: A new ETF (Elite Task Force) is expected to be released at the end of May. Massive invites you to discuss future adjustments with the developers in England at Reflections.
Will you participate in the PTS for 1.6.1?

Armored Warfare is undergoing a comprehensive reorientation as part of Update 0.19. Many aspects of the game mechanics will be revised and redesigned under the keyword Balance 2.0. Additionally, there are plenty of new tanks and more maps.
Armored Warfare has been struggling with balancing issues and game mechanics for some time now. The difference in combat power between the tiers of tanks was often not fairly balanced, and the damage mechanics were lacking.
This is all set to change with the recently released Update 0.19 “Tanks Reloaded” and the included “Balance 2.0”.

The core of Update 0.19 is a complete overhaul of the game mechanics of Armored Warfare. The game previously had quirky balancing problems between the different tank tiers. For example, large-caliber guns of lower tiers dealt less damage than small-caliber weapons of a few tiers higher. As a result, lower vehicles were quite useless against higher tanks.
With Balance 2.0, hit points and weapon damage are no longer calculated with percentage increases based on tier level, but rather based on fixed parameters such as the weight of the vehicle or the caliber of the weapon. This way, heavy tanks will have more hit points than light vehicles, and large calibers will consistently inflict more damage. Smaller guns, on the other hand, will have a better rate of fire.
Armored Warfare – Soft Reset of Tanks
Through this and other adjustments, even low-tier vehicles should be able to achieve something against high-quality tanks, while the superiority of the higher tiers lies more in the many technical gimmicks they are allowed to use.
To ensure that no one is at a disadvantage, Balance 2.0 comes with a soft reset. All unlocked regular tanks will be completely “cleared,” and the experience points, credits, and real-money investments made into the vehicles will be reimbursed.
Alternatively, you can also reset your entire progress and receive back all the resources you have invested so far to start anew. Many vehicles have been reclassified into tiers, and some players may want to give it another try.
Update 0.19 New Vehicles and Maps
In addition to the newly classified vehicles, Update 0.19 introduces a wave of new tanks. A total of 26 additional vehicles are being added to the game, including the Leopard 2A4 Evolution, the T90A, and the nimble Wiesel 1 HOT. To ensure that the new tanks have enough room to stretch their legs, you will receive three new PvP maps and a large Global Operations map.
It is strange: In a time when the gaming press usually makes a scandal out of everything, an actual “scandal” surrounding ARK Survival Evolved goes almost completely unnoticed.
We have already reported on the complicated web surrounding “Studio Wildcard,” the company behind ARK Survival Evolved: The developer Jeremy Stieglitz was one of the founders of Studio Wildcard and the lead designer behind ARK Survival Evolved, but he concealed this for a long time. This was because he was bound by a contract to his former employer and would have had to pay them a share of his work if he had appeared openly as a developer.
Instead, he sent his wife, who owns a bakery, as a sort of “straw woman” to appear as a co-founder of the studio.
This became problematic when ARK Survival Evolved turned out to be a Steam hit and a multi-million dollar project.
Later, the matter came to light, a lawsuit threatened, and it could only be settled after a large sum was paid. They speak of 40 million USD. The major U.S. gaming sites reported on this. After that, however, the topic was almost completely ignored.
Since then, Stieglitz has appeared openly as “Co-Founder and Lead Designer.” He has become the face of ARK alongside Rapczak. The fact that the studio previously lied brazenly about this seems to interest no one anymore.
It is quite astonishing – while the gaming press usually sees a scandal everywhere, this story has completely fallen flat in the media, presumably because everything was resolved behind closed doors and there are few official statements available.
The court document in which the sale of shares of Studio WildCard to Snail Games appears was found by fans and posted on reddit and imgur – the major gaming sites did not report on it at all, even though they usually absorb everything that gets “revealed” there.
This process has significant implications for the gaming landscape.
The ARK deal has enabled a Chinese studio to make a technological leap
The money that Studio Wildcard had to pay to settle the lawsuit likely came from the Chinese studio “Snail Games.”
The Chinese MMO specialist, known for second-tier grind MMOs like Age of Wushu, has apparently made a significant technological leap in a very short time and is now announcing MMORPGs with Unreal Engine 4 – the same engine that ARK uses.
These games are coming practically out of nowhere and reaching a larger audience than usual. They are also being noticed in the West. Sites like IGN are extensively reporting on Snail Games’ latest MMORPG: Dark and Light.
Games like Age of Wushu 2 or Dark and Light are strange MMORPGs that share only the name with their predecessors. Suddenly, Chinese MMOs are on “smaller servers”, they now offer “sandbox and survival elements.”
Asian-specialized MMORPG sites are astonished at where this trend shift is coming from. As the backstory surrounding ARK has hardly been covered in the media, no one can really explain it.
Most players of ARK Survival Evolved are quite indifferent to all this fuss. They mainly want better servers and a more developed technology for their dino MMO.
It seems that there are so many “imagined scandals and shitstorms” circulating in the gaming community that a real stunt like this with ARK goes almost completely unnoticed.
Today, on April 20th, the servers for For Honor, are down. PS4, Xbox One, and PC are affected.
If you want to play For Honor this afternoon, you need to find something else to do for 30 minutes. As Ubisoft just announced, all servers will be shut down at 4:30 PM. The downtime is expected to last about half an hour, so you can fight for honor again around 5 PM.
New elite outfits costing 10,000 steel have already been deployed today, Thursday. However, this is a mistake – the correct price should be 7,000. This price bug will be fixed during the maintenance work.
With a lot of passion, this player has played all Samurai fame levels in For Honor at level 10 and above and isn’t done yet.
The player Nikiso has already invested more than 631 hours of gameplay in For Honor to increase the fame levels of the Samurai characters. It seems to have paid off, as he reports on Reddit that now the fame levels of every Samurai character are at at least level 10. Since that clearly isn’t enough, he even plans to achieve even greater goals in the game in the future.
This is how For Honor remains exciting
For Honor was released on February 14 and was 64 days old by the time Nikiso created the thread on Reddit. This means that out of the 1536 hours (64 x 24) that the game was theoretically playable, he used just under half of that time for gaming with 631 hours.
The tireless player actually sees himself as a Kensei main. When he realized that the motivation to play would quickly drop once he reached fame level 30, he sought a new goal. To ensure continued fun in the game, all Samurai classes were now on the agenda. The goal is to bring all of these characters to level 30 to stay motivated for a longer time. He has made a start by getting all of them to at least fame 10.
Because his achievement attracted a lot of attention on Reddit, there were some questions from other users. One of those questions was how to level up faster in For Honor. Nikiso recommends the Dominion mode to gain experience points quickly. Oh, and very important: Don’t sleep!
His favorite character is Kensei – he prefers not to play with Shugoki.
At the same time, the question arose of how many experience points he earned with AFK farming in For Honor. However, he emphasizes that none of his Samurai classes earned experience points through AFK farming. He only used that with his Warden, who reached fame level five.
According to his own statement, Nikiso only helped a friend and chose the Warden because he does not intend to play it. One would have to subtract 40-60 hours of his gameplay time for this summary.
During his time in For Honor, he collected over 50,000 steel from many matches. He has already bought everything in the game that he wanted and is now saving up for new executionsor the Ninja and Centurion DLC characters.
His big goal is to bring all Samurai classes to fame 30. This will take some more hours of time. But apparently, Nikiso has developed so much passion for For Honor that he could achieve this goal.
The Warglaives of Azzinoth are available in the WoW patch 7.2.5 for Demon Hunters. However, this means a lot of work beforehand.
Just yesterday, we reported that the Warglaives of Azzinoth are making their return to World of Warcraft. During the expansion “The Burning Crusade,” these legendary weapons from Illidan could be obtained in the Black Temple. However, they were rare drops, and the individual blades had only about a 4% chance to appear in the end.
With patch 7.2.5, the blades return, as there will be a timewalking raid “The Black Temple,” where all players will be reset to the state back then and can experience the old bosses at least somewhat challenging.
As Buffed reports, there is, however, a significant catch: Anyone who wants the Warglaives of Azzinoth as a model for transmogrification must have the original blades – that is, from the Black Temple in the level 70 variant. Only when the achievement “Warglaives of Azzinoth” is completed can one obtain the new skin in patch 7.2.5. Since both blades are required, this could require a lot of visits to the Black Temple.
Only afterwards do you still have to defeat Illidan in the timewalking version of the Black Temple, as the achievement “I’ll Hold These For You Until You Get Out” specifically states in its description that Illidan (timewalking) must be defeated only after obtaining the set of Warglaives. The transmogrification will then be the reward.
Whether it is sufficient to have completed the Warglaives achievement on another character is still unknown. Since this is only a character achievement and not an account achievement, it seems unlikely.
Anyone who wants to enjoy the new skin should already lead their Demon Hunter through the Black Temple every week. At level 110, this is, however, absolutely no challenge anymore, and a single run should be manageable within about 30 minutes – most of it already falls during the viewing.
In Overwatch there will soon be more “Draws” again. Both Blizzard and the fans are not satisfied with the current system.
With update 1.10 for Overwatch, there were numerous changes to the game and the ranked mode alongside the “Uprising” event. One of the biggest innovations was probably the “Tie-Breaker” system. This was meant to ensure that fewer matches end in a “Draw”. The many draws led to nothing but frustration for both parties.
The “new” system works like this: To win on a control point map, you no longer need to completely take a control point, but only make 1% more progress than the opposing team. So if Team A never touched the 1st control point, Team B only needs to briefly step on the point (without an enemy nearby) to claim victory.
For many players, the system was a “Sombra buff”.
Although players quickly adapted to the new rules, this system also caused strong dissatisfaction. Especially Sombra and Lúcio were often used to secretly secure victory by stepping unnoticed on the control point or simply bumping enemies off the point for a fraction of a second.
Tie-Break led to unexpected victories
In the official forum, Scott Mercer from Blizzard has now commented and explained that there will soon be a change. Teams will then need to capture at least 33% more of a control point than the opposing team. An example:
Team A completely captures the 1st control point but fails at the 2nd and reaches 0% here.
Team B completely captures the 1st control point and attacks control point 2. As soon as they reach 33% progress on control point 2, they are the winners. If they fail to do so, the match ends in a draw.
This change should give all players enough time to understand what is happening and why a game has been won or lost.
This system was already demanded by many players in advance because it circumvents the problems and simultaneously ensures fewer draw matches. Sometimes game developers take a little longer.
No specific date for the patch has been announced yet.
Paladins has the new epic skin “Chancellor-Mal’Damba.” The skin is hidden in parts in the Chancellor Chest. You can open a Chancellor Chest for free.
With the new patch OB48, new epic skins came to Paladins. Mal’Damba received the epic skin “Chancellor”. In Paladins, the skins are available in individual parts, allowing for wild skin combinations.
The skin parts are usually obtained from “Loot Boxes.” These are called chests in Paladins. Some skins can be unlocked with Paladins’ real money currency “Crystals.” Others can only be found in chests – This includes the new Chancellor skin of Mal’Damba.
Claim Paladins Free-Chest – Get a “Emporium Chest” for free
The parts for Mal’Damba’s new skin are in the “Chancellor Chest” and consist of:
Head: Chancellor Face
Body: Chancellor
Weapon: Chancellor Basilisk
Voice Pack: Chancellor
This is what the Chancellor skin looks like in the game.
There are a total of 21 variants of an Emporium Chest. In 4 variants of the Emporium Chest are the 4 epic parts of the Chancellor skin, which can only be obtained this way, through the chest. There are still 12 additional epic skin parts to be found in the chest.
To open such chests, you just have to go to the chest area of the shop and open a chest.
Every player can open one “Emporium Chest” for free. The other 20 “Emporium Chests” must be paid for with crystals. The Emporium Chest costs 40 crystals and is thus 10 crystals cheaper than the “Radiant Chest.”
The Chinese gaming giant Tencent Games is planning a competitor to Steam: the platform WeGame. This could perhaps be the gateway for western players to Chinese online games like Lost Ark or Monster Hunter Online.
Fans of online games have been looking longingly at China and Asia more and more in recent years. Many interesting online games, especially those developed in South Korea, remain in China and fail to make the leap to Europe and North America.
Top Asian games that are still in development have no great ambitions for a west port: For many games from South Korea, currently China and Russia are more exciting than Germany, France, or the USA. This applies to “Bless Online“: the last major AAA MMORPG of its generation is supposed to come to Europe, but first, it goes to Russia.
For games like “Kingdom under Fire II”, the same principle applies – China first, Europe much later.
Many would like to play Monster Hunter Online or Lost Ark in Europe
Among the most sought-after games are:
“Monster Hunter Online” – an MMO version of the popular monster hunt. It has been out in China for a while, but an “English patch” has always failed, and a west release is not planned
The Diablo-like Lost ARK is still “only in development”, but here too, a west port does not seem to be at the top of the priority list.
But now there is hope. The Chinese gaming giant Tencent Games (“the king of copycats”) has announced the platform WeGame. It is a similar platform to Valve’s Steam. WeGame is also supposed to operate worldwide.

Fans speculate: WeGame could be the gateway for these Chinese games to the west
The idea behind such platforms is to create a connection between players and developers. Players should be able to buy games on such platforms and feel at home. Officially, “WeGame” is only being introduced today. So we still know few details.
Fans of Chinese MMOs are currently hoping that Tencent now has an interest in spreading such Chinese games worldwide and also bringing them to Europe through “WeGame”.
This could allow WeGame to create niche competition against the dominant Steam.
Currently, however, this is still speculation. We will keep you updated.
Some games now “China-exclusive” on WeGame, no longer on Steam China
Update 3 PM: WeGame has now been officially introduced. But it was only about the plans for the Chinese market. Tencent has now committed some “big franchises” exclusively. Games like Rocket League, Paragon, Paladins, or Cities: Skylines are no longer available on Steam China, but only on WeGame.
However, there is currently no information on the global implications of WeGame. So there are no news available that affect us here in Europe.
An enthusiastic player of Rift has created an epic trailer. Thanks to cool music by Hans Zimmer and impressive visuals, you immediately feel like checking out Rift again.
And a stylish fan trailer with epic music does its part to make you eager to play Rift again!
Rift Fan Trailer – Fantasy Worlds and Hans Zimmer Soundtrack
The fan trailer is by Rift player Matt Dredge, who plays a blue giant with full plating and a peculiar staff in Rift. This unknown hero wanders through the wondrous and beautifully terrifying world of Rift in the film. Along the way, he encounters the dreaded rifts, climbs mountains, swims to the depths of the ocean, and explores ancient ruins.

As the world of Rift is not without danger, he is repeatedly attacked by monsters that appear very large and fierce. Most he can defeat, but he must give in to one particularly impressive underwater tentacle whale shark.
The journey is underscored by the epic sounds of the “Planet Earth II” theme by composer Hans Zimmer (also known for film soundtracks such as “The Lion King” or “Gladiator”).

How to complete the WoW World Quest “Safe Keeping” in Suramar is revealed in our mini quest guide.
World Quests are one of the biggest features in World of Warcraft, as they keep the game world of Azeroth fresh and offer new ways to interact with old areas. However, unlike traditional quests, there are rarely large instructions or quest texts – usually just a single line describing the goal.
Some players encounter problems with these missions, especially when it goes beyond the simple “Kill 20 enemies” or “Collect 15 items”.
WoW Guide: World Quest Safe Keeping
One of these missions is the quest Safe Keeping in the city of Suramar. Here, 5 “desperate refugees” must be rescued to complete the mission.
The refugees must be brought to safe houses.
The refugees can be found throughout the marked quest area, but it is not enough to simply click on the Nightborne. Clicking on the refugees only ensures that they follow you and any potential tormentors (city guards, demons) become aware of you.
The catch is that the refugees – after following you – must still be escorted to a safe place, which is not immediately evident from the short description.
The markers only appear when escorting a refugee.
These safe places are houses that have been taken over by the Nightborne rebels. They can be recognized both by the Nightborne inside, where children are protected by rebel guards, and by the extra marking on the minimap. The safe places are marked by a small mini-circle.
Escort a total of 5 desperate refugees to a safe house of your choice, and you have successfully completed the mission.
The new DLC Narco Road is not well received by the Ghost Recon Wildlands players even after testing it themselves. What is bothering them?
In recent days, the excitement about the new Ghost Recon Wildlands DLC “Narco Road” has been considerable. The leak showed race cars and monster trucks, which met with little enthusiasm from the tactical shooter players. Even now, after players have been able to try out the content themselves and not just see it in pictures, it appears that the community is dissatisfied with the expansion. There are many reasons for this.
Most of the community does not like the DLC
For a few days now, you have been able to extensively test the Narco Road DLC if you have a Premium Pass. For players without a Pass, the expansion will be available from April 25.
When the first images of the DLC leaked, players were amazed that there would now be monster trucks and nitro-powered cars in the tactical shooter. However, at that time, there was hope that the content in Wildlands might “not be as bad as feared” and that the images might convey a false impression.
The feedback on social media, however, speaks a clear language. Players express a lot of criticism about Narco Road there. Complaints are especially about the new character that you have to create for the expansion and the new weapons that are not really so “new.”
You have to create a completely new character for Narco Road, starting at level 20.
There is no access to your collected weapon arsenal from the main game.
The “new” weapons in the DLC are just renamed variants of weapons that already exist. Furthermore, they are not customizable. Players use the weapons in the expansion only because they are the only weapons available.
Skills that you have unlocked in the main game have been reset.
Narco Road only uses its own, smaller map, which consists of sections of the main game’s map.
The animals in the animal trade missions do not come out of their cages.
The grim, dark aura that players perceived in connection with drug smuggling and sinister gangs is destroyed by the flashy race cars with nitro boosts and monster trucks racing over the mountains.
Ubisoft stated, however, that Narco Road has always been planned as a standalone expansion and should deliver a completely different gaming experience than the main game. The features of Narco Road should not be linked to the storyline of the original Wildlands.
What sounds like an interesting differentiation causes frustration among players. The “back and forth” between the main game and the expansion quickly becomes annoying. As an example, there are the seasons introduced with patch 3.0. You cannot access these in the Narco Road DLC, but must switch back to the main game first.
Many of our readers also do not view the DLC favorably thus far. The “new” weapons do not convince and overall the expansion simply does not fit into the game, as can be read in our comments on Facebook and Mein-MMO.de.
The players hope that Ubisoft takes the harsh criticism of Narco Road to heart and that future DLCs fit better into the game. Do you believe that Ubisoft takes the feedback seriously and makes future DLCs to please the community, or is the train gone?
In Destiny , very little is explained in the game. A fan chart has listed all the secret information about the weapons: It explains all weapons precisely with Time-to-Kill and all details – current as of 2017 during the “Age of Triumph.”
Destiny is a feast for gaming sites. When it was released in 2014, although the big gaming sites had a hard time with it and gave the famous “6 out of 10 – just okay” ratings, they still reported extensively and in detail about the online shooter. Because the demand for Destiny articles was huge.
The US site Polygon gave Destiny an ignominious 6/10, which the creators of the hit game proudly took to heart.
That is also because Destiny explains so little itself. The developers at Bungie didn’t want to burden players with numbers and statistics, so they distributed only sparse information in the game itself.
Which weapon is better? Most Guardians decide based on their feelings
Which weapon is better now? Weapon A or Weapon B? Most Guardians will try both and then decide based on their feelings. That’s exactly how Bungie wants it.
The statistics you get in the game are often only rough guidelines. Some values like aim assist are even completely hidden.
But some Destiny players want to know more.
Shade of Veils: Once known as the sniper rifle with training wheels – had incredibly high aim assist.
On gaming sites like ours or in forums about the game, there are hard numbers: hidden statistics are evaluated, quenching the knowledge thirst of analytical Destiny players.
It no longer has that aura of space magic, but instead the discreet charm of a math lecture, when the Excel spreadsheets are analyzed and the third decimal places are compared.
One player has particularly distinguished himself in “Destiny for Advanced Players”: Mercules904 – here is his Reddit profile – maintains a huge spreadsheet with all weapons in Destiny. He has now updated it with all the changes for “Age of Triumph,” the patch 2.6.0.
And it really is a gigantic Excel spreadsheet: a weapon spreadsheet.
Known for never doing math homework: Cayde-6.
Destiny: Spreadsheet shows all weapons in Destiny 2.6.0 and their values
Anyone who reads it recognizes why weapons like the Vex Mythoclast or “The Last Word” enjoy such a legendary reputation. The time-to-kill, the time it takes to send enemies to the afterlife in PvP when hitting optimally, is lower than that of comparable weapons.
And for those who have wondered why they perform so much better with this or that weapon than with others: It’s probably because the aim assist is particularly high or the “Recoil Direction” is so delightfully predictable.
In the rows for these weapons, you’ll often see the “blue colors,” which stand for “good”. Red, on the other hand, means “rather bad.”
So you’ll see, for example, that “The Last Word” indeed kills incredibly quickly, but also requires an excellent shooter, as almost all “aim assists” on the weapon are rather poor. Except for the recoil direction – that is optimal.
Eyasluna or Palindrom? – a matter of faith
The Eyasluna, which still enjoys cult status among nostalgia-blinded Guardians because it was once quite good, does not fare well in the current spreadsheet against the comparable “Palindrom”.
Even though the Eyasluna devotees surely do not want to admit that again. This is a sort of running gag in the articles based on Mercules’ data – Why is the Eyasluna again missing from the best weapons this time?
The magic of numbers. It’s “Destiny for Advanced Players.”
The matter is even more complicated: The weapons in the table are only the “base values” – there are also special variants with perks. The best offers this week can be found here:
The developers of the online shooter Star Wars Battlefront 2 have revealed some new details about the game, including the jetpacks and the heroes.
Many players are looking forward to Star Wars Battlefront 2 and are eagerly searching for all the information available. The developers have now spoken about some gameplay elements. These include jetpacks, which are currently causing quite a stir in the community. Players fear that the jetpacks could be used excessively. However, the developers explain that the jetpacks cannot be used by every class, but only by certain characters.
Custom Weapons
When it comes to weapons, players in Star Wars Battlefront 2 will have much more freedom to choose and master a weapon. Every weapon starts off easy to use, but mastering it will be difficult. For each weapon, more options and customization possibilities will be unlocked, so in the end, every player will feel like they are fighting with “their” weapon.
The combat system for the heroes has also been completely revamped. They are supposed to feel significantly stronger than regular classes. For Battlefront 1, it wouldn’t have been possible to develop enough mechanics to make the heroes truly special. But with part 2, this will change. The heroes will feel and play differently than the regular characters.
Just Get Out
While in Star Wars Battlefront 1 you could only exit land vehicles, in part 2 you can also “rescue” yourself from flying vehicles. It will not be possible to land a spaceship, but you will still be able to get out. The developers did not want to comment on a server browser and renting servers, seamless ground and space battles, a “Galactic Conquest” mode, or 4K support for Xbox Scorpio and PlayStation 4 Pro.
Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be released on November 17 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
