Although patch 7.2.5 for World of Warcraft has been active for almost two weeks, the developers are still not completely satisfied with the impact. This results in small hotfixes and adjustments being made to ensure balance in the game. Tomorrow, on 28.06.2017, the Tomb of Sargeras will open its gates in “LFR” and Mythic difficulty, which is why the developers will make some minor changes to the classes.
In plain terms, this means buffs for Vengeance Demon Hunters, Survival Hunters, Windwalker Monks, and nerfs for Affliction Warlocks.

The reasoning behind this change is that Glacial Spike benefits multiple times from various buffs – an effect that the developers did not desire. Since the individual Ice Lances are no longer buffed before they are combined in Glacial Spike, the damage of the spell decreases. However, the base damage has been increased by a solid 50%, which should compensate in most cases.
Roadhog has suffered greatly from the latest patch of Overwatch . His popularity is declining – but how can we “save” him?
The patch 1.12 of Overwatch has hit Roadhog pretty hard. Contrary to some assumptions that the changes are actually a buff, the criticism of Blizzard is now significant. Roadhog is no longer suited as a flanker who picks out individual characters and punishes them, but now relies on group protection. The reason for this is that his damage has been reduced by 33%, although his rate of fire and magazine size have been improved.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds had a few issues with loot. Some items spawned too often, while others too rarely. An initial loot patch as part of the monthly update is supposed to change that.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is a blast when you roam around as a lone fighter, equipping yourself with weapons and gear for the inevitable survival fight. Especially cool is when you manage to capture a care package that is occasionally dropped visibly by planes over the battlefield.
Unfortunately, according to a recent data analysis, the spawn and drop rates of items in the boxes and in the open world were not functioning optimally. Therefore, a loot patch as part of the big June update has been installed to remedy this.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds – New Weapon “Groza” and Fewer Helmets
The loot patch first replaces the VSS Vintorez with a new bullpup rifle called “Groza”. This weapon is now available instead of the VSS in care packages. The Vintorez, on the other hand, is now only available as a random world spawn.
Also new: There is a small chance that you will find silencers for assault and sniper rifles, as well as 4x scopes in the boxes. All these items would be useless along with a Vintorez, as this rifle already comes with these upgrades by default.

What changes today? – Update 1.6.2 / 1.14
During maintenance, the update 1.6.2 will be implemented. On PS4, it has the version number 1.14. This means that Massive is not only tweaking the servers or implementing server-side fixes, but is also bringing a client fix that carries its own version number and needs to be downloaded.
The patch notes are straightforward. Only one thing is changing:
A bug is being fixed where players could glitch through walls using mobile cover or throwable skills.

The Mystery MMO The Secret World has been re-released as Secret World Legends. From now on, all players can download and play the game for free. There’s also a new launch trailer and bonuses for previous customers.
The Secret World is a fascinating online role-playing game from Funcom released in 2012, which focuses on mystery and horror in the modern era rather than fantasy and sci-fi. Unfortunately, the game was not very accessible and attracted only a few players.

Secret World Legends – Exploit Chaos Weekend – Compensation is Coming
Over the weekend, Secret World Legends could already be played in the headstart and promptly caused some trouble. Because a big, fat exploit with the premium currencies occurred, and so the developers had to shut down the servers for a hotfix on June 25.
In the meantime, the error has been fixed, but the real money exchange service and the auction house are still offline until further notice. To compensate players for the lost playtime, Funcom plans to distribute unspecified compensations soon.
By the way, if you want to play Secret World Legends on Steam, you’ll have to wait until July 31.
On June 27, the Megalithic Update will be released, bringing an expansion for the MMORPG Trove on PS4 and Xbox One. With the Dino Tamer, a new class comes into play.
Have you always wanted to tame dinosaurs and use them as combat companions? Then look forward to June 27. On that day, the Megalithic Update for the MMORPG Trove will be released and will bring a ton of new features – including the ability to tame dinosaurs.

Tame Dinos in the Jungle
The update introduces the Dino Tamer class. This class has the ability to tame dinos that you will find in the new jungle biome. In the top position, two answers are competing. As of now (June 26, 3:00 PM), there is no clear winner – but two strong favorites.
Old Gods compete with Old Conflict for 1st place
With 23%, a large portion of the voting players wish for the Old Gods as a new threat. This seems to be the most obvious step, as C’thun and others have not had much to say for a while. However, there were concrete hints in the Emerald Nightmare and also in the Night Fortress that the Old Gods will soon put their plan into action – the Black Empire will rise again!
But sometimes less can be more. This becomes particularly clear when looking at the votes for the answer Conflict between Horde and Alliance. Almost 23% do not wish for a new, major adversary at all, but rather want to see another conflict between Horde and Alliance. This is not surprising, as the war between the two factions was even the hook for the cinematic in Classic. Since then, alliances have been made repeatedly – and the war has been suppressed, except for Garrosh.
Far behind these two favorites is the new Lich King Bolvar Fordragon (17%), as many players associate a great time with Wrath of the Lich King and would like to regain that feeling.
No one likes Illidan, Wrathion, and the Void Lords
Interestingly, many players wished for the Old Gods (23%), but only 8% wished for their great leaders, the Void Lords. Clearly, the servants are much more interesting than the powerful overlords, who are still waiting in the cosmos to devour all existence.
The clear losers of the voting were Wrathion and Illidan. With only 2% of the votes each, hardly anyone would want them as a new, major threat. The two misunderstood anti-heroes simply do not fit your opinion as villains – tough luck, Illi and Furi!
In a data mining of Paladins new Patch OB 53, hints of three new champions have been found. Their current working titles are Owl, Lian, and Astro.
Currently, there are 28 champions in Paladins. The last hero added to the team-based fantasy shooter is Zhin – The Tyrant. A flanker who uses a sword and flames as weapons. Many champions are currently being released in quick succession in Paladins. Approximately every 3 weeks, there is a new character and by August, there should be a total of 30 heroes in the game.
In a recent data mining of the new update OB 53 hints of three new champions have been found: Owl, Lian, and Astro.
The likelihood is high that at least two of the three leaked champions will appear by August.

From the data mining, we can see the current working titles of the champions. They will likely be released under different names in the game. We can partially see from the data mining what properties and cards they will fight with. “Astro” shows strong support characteristics and can heal allies. Behind “Lian” one could also suspect a support character. Not much is known about “Owl.”
Below we present the leaked champions. This is data mining and the found data may change until the champions’ release.
Astro – A healer with light speed?
Astro appears to be a futuristic character who works with light speed among other things. First abilities and cards have already been found. Astro could become a support as he can heal allies. He also causes stuns and seems to have a lot of mobility.
Seris was the last support added to Paladins and has been very popular since then. Perhaps supporters will get more support with “Astro”
Lian (Princess) – A royal supporter?
Previous data indicates that Lian was once called Princess. She seems to carry a rifle and can heal herself and reduce her cooldowns. She also seems to have many mobility features.
Studio Hi-Rez likes to refer to Paladins as a fantasy shooter, and there are already a few characters that fit well into this niche. For example, the quirky majesty Bomb King, the hot-blooded knight Fernando, and the new tough knight Ash. A princess who shoots around would fit perfectly into the lineup.
The names of her currently known cards all refer to wealth and nobility. Examples include: Highborn, Royal Seal, or Eagle’s Emerald.
Owl means “owl” in English and could be a hint at an animal character. Or at least someone who resembles an owl. Not much has been found about this champion in the data. It could be that he uses two weapons and grenades. Perhaps he is a damage dealer or flanker.

Life is Strange has its own charm and may not be “for everyone”. However, if you’re interested in games with a good story, you should at least try the free first episode and get a taste of it.
Patrick’s personal recommendation: The Forest
Want thrilling, spooky adventures with multiple players? Then we might meet again in the woods.
The Forest is in Early Access and has already drawn many players on its side. You can start an adventure alone or in co-op mode. The story begins with a fast start in a plane that suddenly crashes.
After the crash, you slowly regain consciousness and realize that you are now in a mysterious forest. This forest offers plenty of space for eerie encounters with its inhabitants – mutated cannibals. These nasty forest dwellers hunt at night, so it’s better to barricade yourself in self-built huts during the darkness.
The building system allows you to build various structures or traps that can be useful during your survival adventures. For example, traps can keep the cannibals off your “back”, while animal traps provide you with meat that you can roast over the campfire.
Fallen trees provide the necessary materials to build fences, gates, weapons, houses, towers, or even rafts. Turtle shells can be used to collect rainwater so you won’t die of thirst on the island.
At night, there’s a special thrill when the cannibals suddenly appear near you, stepping on branches and being able to smell your body. The soundscape in The Forest adds extra tension.

SuperData released the top games in May 2017. League of Legends and FIFA 17 are still incredibly strong and generate a lot of revenue, Destiny and Pokémon GO are falling.
Every month, SuperData announces which games generate the most revenue digitally worldwide.
In May 2017, there are no surprises at the top positions on PC. The number 1 is the global phenomenon League of Legends, and number 2 is the incredibly successful online shooter in Asia, Crossfire.
Compared to the previous month, DOTA 2 made a significant leap forward. In April, it was not in the top ten, now the game is in fifth place. World of Warcraft is ahead of World of Tanks and Overwatch in sixth place.
According to SuperData, Overwatch continues its consistent growth. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is no longer in the top ten as it was in April, but it still had a strong month in May.
King Football rules, Destiny tumbles out of the top 10
On consoles, FIFA 17 remains firmly in first place. Currently, the “Team of the Season” phase is ongoing in the Ultimate Team mode, which likely entices many players to microtransactions. Therefore, King Football is also not to be dethroned in May.
In April, Battlefield 1 was in second place and GTA 5 in third, and in May they swap places.
Destiny, which was ranked 9th in April, is now, according to SuperData, no longer listed among the top games. The MMO shooter is currently preparing for the launch of Destiny 2 in September. The era of Destiny 1 is slowly coming to an end.
In the mobile sector, Clash Royale, Clash of Clans, and Monster Strike are competing for the podium positions. Pokémon GO, the mega hit of last summer, was still in 8th place in April.
