In Hearthstone , the upcoming nerfs have been introduced. And they are far-reaching and affect more classes than expected.
The ranked mode of Hearthstone is currently more of a pain than real fun. About 50% of all matches are dominated by druids, who are hard to counter unless you have a complete counter deck with a perfect starting hand. Blizzard has also recognized this and introduced several nerfs that are set to go live with the upcoming patch 9.1. However, it does not only affect druids, but also warriors, shamans, and murlocs.
Inspire from Druid now grants only 1 additional mana for this turn instead of 2 mana. Thus, Inspire is effectively just a coin.
Plaguebringer from druids increases mana costs from 5 to 6 – previously, the spell cost 5. As a result, druids will be able to act a bit slower. Together with the change to Inspire, playing Plaguebringer will become more significant.
The Fiery War Axe of the warrior is increased from 2 mana costs to 3 mana costs. This means it can no longer be played as early and is similar to an Eaglehorn Bow – just without additional card text.
Shamans have to deal with a nerf to Hex. The mana costs rise from 3 to 4. This makes the spell resemble the Mage’s Polymorph much more. The developers want to limit shamans a bit in their options to remove minions with a “Silence” effect from the game (which Hex effectively does). They will also consider this in later expansions.
A final nerf affects all Murloc fans. The effect of the Murloc Leader is changing. In the future, the Murloc Leader will grant all other friendly murlocs only +2 attack instead of +2/+1. This is intended to make murlocs less unstoppable and allow them to be removed more easily – for example, with a Wild Pyromancer and Equality. Previously, all murlocs except the leader would have survived.
Destiny 2 is opening its gates! Be here live when the new adventure begins. Livestream at launch.
Update 00:01 AM: Bungie reports that Destiny 2 has now officially launched in Central Europe. Several users report that they are in a queue. There is a message that Destiny 2 is at capacity. However, the wait time is not too long at present.
On Wednesday, September 6 at 00:01 AM, the official server launch will take place. Then all Guardians in Germany can start. However, players with a disc version have been able to play since 14:00 (September 5), as that was the server launch time in New Zealand.
Among those Guardians with a disc version diving into the adventure right away is our friend Nexxoss Gaming. He will take you along in the livestream and show you what the first moments in Destiny 2 will be like. We will embed his Twitch stream here, spoilers ahead!
https://www.twitch.tv/nexxossgaming
We from Mein-MMO will accompany the midnight launch and continuously update this article in case of an outbreak of error codes or a server collapse. Currently, on the afternoon of September 5, there are no issues.
Why does Destiny 2 actually launch at midnight?
The last major Destiny launch was a year ago on September 20, 2016, at 11 AM our time: Destiny: Rise of Iron released simultaneously worldwide. At that time, there were serious issues: Guardians were stuck in queues for hours, the Tapir error code haunted players, and the servers encountered problems.
One can expect that the launch of Destiny 2 will be significantly larger than that of Destiny: Rise of Iron.
To ensure the servers do not collapse, Bungie has made preparations:
The release date was moved up from September 8 to September 6, as typically server traffic is highest on the weekend following a launch. By starting just a few days earlier, they want to avoid the worst-case scenario – that the servers crash, according to Game Director Luke Smith.
A “rolling midnight launch” will take place. This means that in different time zones around the world, it starts at midnight if you pre-order digitally. This is also aimed at controlling the rush on the servers.
Winston from Overwatch is the born secret agent. Where the scientific gorilla strikes, victory is not far away.
Every week, absurd, exciting, or just funny moments happen in Overwatch , often captured in a “Play of the Game”. We searched social media and selected three special highlights for you. Enjoy our three “Play of the Game” moments of the week in Overwatch!
Winston is not exactly known for subtle approaches. But player FREEFALL3N proves us wrong. On Temple of Anubis, he shows that you can still secure victory completely alone in the last 18 seconds of a match. All you need is iron will, an ultimate, and assertiveness… and an opposing team that doesn’t defend the control point but rather prefers a small choke point. Well, that’s how quickly it can happen!

The new Deathmatch mode is very well received by the community. Thanks to the fresh map, Chatteau Guillard, there are plenty of opportunities to push players off the edge of the map. This works especially well with Junkrat. You can coldly calculate the trajectory of the players and place the deadly mines accordingly. We can see how this looks with precise calculation in this short clip.
Surely everyone knows this beautiful moment: The victory is in safe hands, the last seconds are ticking down, and no opponent in sight. The perfect opportunity to unleash an ultimate to celebrate the victory. Lbarker1125 joined this tradition and activated the ultimate as D.Va on the victory point – just as the opposing Mercy comes flying in and revives the enemy team. This leads to a spectacular multikill at the last moment.
Have you also experienced a particularly cool gaming scene that you captured on video? Then just send us a link to the video (preferably on Youtube) and perhaps your clip will be featured in this post next week!
It’s finally here! EA Sports is gradually revealing the ratings of the best players in FIFA 18. They are releasing the player cards as they will appear in the “Ultimate Team” mode of FIFA 18.
To celebrate this player rating reveal, they released this video online, in which stars read and comment on “ratings” about themselves:

Top IV values and good movesets ensure that these trainers could defeat the legendary Pokémon GO raid boss “Entei” with three players.
Entei is one of the new legendary raid bosses in Pokémon GO and can currently be caught in Europe. The other members of the Beast Trio are available in America and Asia.
A few trainers have now demonstrated that with the right Pokémon, the boss “Entei” can be defeated with just three players. They show how it’s done in the video.
Defeating Entei with three players
After the legendary birds Lugia, Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos appeared in Pokémon GO over the past weeks, it is now the turn of the legendary beasts. The three Pokémon beasts can now be found at various locations around the world. At the end of the month, the rotation will change so that trainers worldwide have the chance to catch the beasts.
Raikou is available in America
Suicune in Asia
and Entei in Europe and Africa
Some of you may already have Entei in your Pokédex and can look forward to another legendary entry. A trainer trio recorded the fight against this raid boss, successfully extinguishing the fire beast with plenty of water.
Vaporeon was an important part of the lineup, with Golem also coming into play. In the video, you can see the fight of the three trainers at levels 36, 37, and 38 against Entei.

The Update 7.3 “Shadows of Argus” for World of Warcraft: Legion is going into the second round. After the release and access to two areas as well as the first part of the story, in week 2 now Mac’Aree and an additional level of artifact knowledge will be added.
New Area: Mac’Aree – There’s a lot to do!
The story in Krokuun will be concluded, and the heroes of Azeroth will travel to Mac’Aree. In the abandoned and morbid ghost town of the Draenei, most of the second part of the story, “Dark Awakenings”, will take place.
Additionally, players will be able to unlock new world quests for Mac’Aree and the Nath’raxas Fortress, allowing them to gather further rewards on Argus to advance their progression. Alongside the world quests, Mac’Aree will also feature invasion points and larger invasion points (bosses) that can be engaged in world PvE.

Changes to the Order Hall and additional PvE content will come next week. Together with them, players can also look forward to finally crafting their own relics with the Netherlight Crucible.
Character progression is also taken care of. With the second week, the new system raises artifact knowledge for all players to level 42 – resulting in a significant increase in artifact power of 20,800,000%.
For those who haven’t started battling through the areas of Argus yet, they can now jump right in during the second week and explore the whole planet – with the exception of the raids and the dungeons from the inside.
Destiny 2 comes out on September 6, but the first tests have already been released. How Bungie’s online shooter performs in the early reviews, you can find out here with us!
Destiny 2 has great expectations as the successor to the immensely successful online shooter Destiny. After all, numerous fans want all the goodies of the predecessor and also a bunch of cool innovations and features. But they must not overshadow the beloved gunplay of the original.
Destiny 2 – First reviews before launch
Even before the official launch of the console versions of Destiny 2, the first reviews from well-known gaming sites are already online. They were able to play Destiny 2 a few weeks ago on-site in Seattle. They reported that they were allowed to test for about 15 hours.
We have collected some of these tests and ratings here for you. This way, you can already get an idea of the game and its strengths and weaknesses. Some of the first early reviews, like those from IGN or Gamespot, are already on Metacritic. However, a rating is still pending there.
GamePro – A conciliatory sequel!
The German site GamePro has taken a detailed look at Destiny. The rating trend lies between 84 and 88 points.
It is as if Bungie has perfected its “Destiny language” with the DLCs over the years and now implemented this know-how to create exactly the game that Destiny was supposed to be from the very beginning. […]. The gameplay fits perfectly, the staging surpasses the predecessor by lengths, the characters are likable, and leveling up my character is simply fun.
VG24/7 – Better than Destiny 1
At VG24/7 the author, despite some criticism, is fond of the game in her first report and finds it better than the first part.
If someone liked part 1, they will likely love Destiny 2 as well. If someone did not like Destiny 1, they will find some of their criticisms improved or worsened in the second part. However, one should also wait and see how the game develops and whether the progression, performance, and the raid still hold up a few weeks after release.
Gamespot – Like Destiny 1, just better!
At Gamespot they share a similar opinion. The author also believes that Destiny 2 does not differ much from the first part. But it does many things better. The story is worlds better, information is conveyed better, the weapon categories have improved, and the new maps are a lot of fun.
Fans of Destiny 1 shouldn’t miss out on the second part.
IGN – So far all expectations met
At IGN the author is still withholding a final judgment, but so far, his high expectations for Destiny 2 have all been met. Especially the progression through the game world with the dynamic events and the great soundtrack has captivated him.

Polygon – “It’s Destiny, but without all the bullshit!”
According to the author of the Destiny 2 review from Polygon, Destiny 1 has become even worse with the sequel! Since he knows Destiny 2, he can hardly explain how he ever liked that nonsense (Destiny 1); so much is done better in the sequel, in his opinion!
Especially the story and the many quality-of-life improvements are great. Destiny 2 is thus making an extremely promising start!
PC Gamer – Excellent gunplay!
The first review from PC Gamer is also positive. Here too, the tenor is: Destiny 2 has super gameplay. The gunplay is fantastic, and the story additionally motivates to keep playing. At its core, the game is still a true Destiny that works primarily as a shooter. However, it remains to be seen how the game will develop further, and whether, for example, the new loot system will motivate in the long run.
PC Games – Destiny 2 is actually Destiny 1.75
The author of the German site PC Games likes the still excellent gunplay of Destiny 2. But she is still skeptical whether Destiny 2 can prove itself in the endgame:
Destiny 2 is for me, as someone who has played the predecessor from hour 1, maybe not Destiny 2. Rather a Destiny 1.75 with many changes I like and many contents I already know and love. But: I haven’t seen anything of the endgame yet, and I don’t know how the main story will ultimately develop. Therefore, I see Destiny 2 as being on a good path to surpass its predecessor. Whether Bungie’s space shooter can convince in all points remains to be seen. After all, the game must be able to motivate me over a long time – just like the predecessor.
Destiny 2 – Positive first reports
Overall, Destiny 2 is doing well in the current reviews. However, it remains to be seen whether the game can also succeed in the long run and whether the developers can deliver on the promises of a strong start.
Most testers have reportedly spent about 15 hours with the game beforehand, so the questions about the endgame and long-term motivation are still open.
Black Desert Mobile aims to bring the gameplay of Black Desert Online to mobile or tablet. But will the game become just another freemium Asia mobile game that aims to extract money from players with pay-to-win methods?
Black Desert Online is a buy-to-play sandbox MMORPG that is currently only available for PC and looks stunning. However, not only PC players will be able to enjoy Black Desert Online in the future. In addition to the planned Xbox One and PS4 versions, a mobile version of Black Desert is reportedly in development.
Black Desert Mobile – Same Engine as the Original
As the major feature of Black Desert Online is its fantastic graphics, the developers did not want to cut corners here. Therefore, the graphics engine of Black Desert Mobile is the same as that of Black Desert Online on PC.
However, Black Desert Mobile is not meant to be a port to mobile, but a standalone game with its own gameplay and a story set 50 years before Black Desert Online. The mobile version is set to be a full-fledged MMORPG offering the same features as an MMORPG – complete with quests, crafting, PvP, and raids.
Black Desert Mobile – Developers Claim No Pay2Win Cash Grab
At the Korean developer conference IGC 2017, a representative from the developer Pearl Abyss spoke about the monetization system of Black Desert Mobile. According to the developer, they do not want to create a typical Asian pay-to-win mobile game just to make a lot of money.
While it might make economic sense, it would ultimately harm the company and the reputation of the Black Desert brand. Therefore, players in Black Desert Mobile should not constantly be prompted for real-money transactions for items.
Here is a teaser trailer for Black Desert M

In Destiny 2, you have to forgo clans and guided games at launch. The clan servers are currently unreachable.
The first Guardians are already bustling in Destiny 2, diving into battle against Ghaul and his Red Legion. However, they have to forgo one thing: It is not yet possible to proudly present your own clan in the Destiny 2 universe.
Because the in-game clan feature is not yet available. If you go to the clan overview in the menu, there is a notice that the clan servers are currently unreachable.
Bungie has already addressed this issue: Yes, the clan feature will be deactivated for several more days. Once it becomes available, they will let us know.
By no later than September 12, the clan feature in Destiny 2 should be functional, as Bungie plans to launch guide games on that day. In the “Guided Games”, solo players can connect with clans to play group activities together.
However, Bungie assumes that there will be too many solo players and too few guide clans at launch. Therefore, these guided games will start slowly.
Shortly after the first weekly reset on September 12 at 7 PM, a “beta phase” for the guided games (for the Nightfall strike) will begin. About 30%-50% of all players will gain access to the search, depending on how many clans participate.
From September 26 at 7 PM, 100% access to the search will be available for the raid and the Nightfall strike.
During the “Guided Games Beta”, all clans can lead solo players as soon as they have mastered the Nightfall strike once.
The upcoming addon Path of Fire for Guild Wars 2 takes you back to the Crystal Desert and the region of Elona. Both locations were prominently featured in the first Guild Wars. Therefore, the presentation of Path of Fire aims to appeal to both nostalgic players and newcomers. Additionally, the grind effort is supposed to be reduced compared to Heart of Thorns.
Path of Fire, the second major addon for Guild Wars 2, will be released soon, on September 22, 2017. But what is it really about? How will the story unfold? Which regions will we (re)visit and how do the developers plan to avoid making Path of Fire a similar grind fest as Heart of Thorns? We asked the developers and received answers.
Guild Wars 2 – Familiar places in Elona and the Crystal Desert
The special highlight of Path of Fire, alongside the new mounts and the 9 elite specializations, is the setting. Unlike in Heart of Thorns, this time it goes to a historically significant place in the Guild Wars story: Elona and the Crystal Desert.
Anyone familiar with the first game of the Guild Wars series knows that this is where your heroes could first achieve their “Ascension”. And the northern Elona with the province of Vabbi and Palawa Joko’s domain is still well remembered by players from the GW1 addon Nightfall.
According to the developers, care has been taken with the new, old areas to ensure a certain recognition effect occurs. The developers want veterans to recognize much but also to notice that centuries have passed and the world has not stood still. New players should also find enjoyment.
Guild Wars 2 – Path of Fire has the largest maps to date
Whether you know the old maps or not, the new desert maps in Path of Fire are supposed to be gigantic! According to the developers, they are larger than any maps previously created for Guild Wars 2.
Guild Wars 2 – Less grind than in Heart of Thorns
In Path of Fire, the developers want to avoid a major mistake from Heart of Thorns: the endless grind. Because back then, you had to farm an incredible number of experience points to level up your coveted masteries. Additionally, more masteries were introduced in the episodes of Season 3.
While ArenaNet still intends to rely on masteries this time – via the mounts – you should receive the necessary points faster this time. Additionally, there will be constantly new things for players to achieve without significant grind.
Guild Wars 2 – No more big content drought – Season 4 is expected to follow soon
Unlike in Heart of Thorns, you won’t have to wait what feels like an eternity for Season 4 of the story to start this time. Rather, Path of Fire is seen as a thick new chapter of the story. Therefore, Season 4 is also expected to start shortly after the release of Path of Fire and continue the story.

Friday the 13th is a game about death. For one of the developers, it almost meant the end.
Developing video games is certainly not an easy field to work in. With tight deadlines, plenty of overtime, and the personal aspiration to deliver a perfect product, there are certainly more comfortable professions.
However, hearing that development can sometimes lead to the brink of death is something you don’t hear often.
As reported by PCGamesN, this was exactly the case with the slasher game Friday the 13th: The Game. The game was heavily supported by a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. However, the development team had not hired anyone to keep the community updated about Kickstarter – a community manager was therefore needed.
These are the real killers!
Developer Randy Greenback, who at the time had only a few programming tasks to complete, was quickly assigned as the spokesperson for the Kickstarter campaign.
But no one on the team could foresee how much effort it would require. Greenback described the time as if he had “had three full-time jobs at the same time”. Most days he had to work up to 18 hours, answering every single email. All the stress led to his body not being able to handle it forever, ultimately resulting in pneumonia.
One of the employees, Randy Hobbs, said, “He almost died. This is no joke. We underestimated how much work Kickstarter is and what it takes to keep the community updated.”
Fortunately, no one ended up dying during the development of the game. However, there are still issues with the Kickstarter campaign – long after the game’s release. Some backers still have not received a version of the game.
Only particularly persistent anglers in WoW receive new skins for their “weapon” – the first players have achieved this now.
While all classes were overwhelmed with various weapon skins during the Legion expansion in World of Warcraft , there was one weapon that ended up completely empty-handed: the Artifact Fishing Rod. Only particularly passionate fishing fans have managed to snag the Underlight Angler and are fishing the stocks of the Broken Shore dry.
With Patch 7.3, the 6 special reputation factions for anglers were finally unlocked. Each one consists of a specific angler who stands in a fixed position.
Guardian Raynae – Val’Sharah 53 / 73
Akule Riverhorn – Highmountain 32 / 42
Corbyn – Stormheim 91 / 11
Sha’leth – Suramar 51 / 49
Wichtlus – Broken Shore 34 / 50
Ilyssia of the Waters – Azsuna 43 /41
The available angler rotates daily in a fixed rotation. Thus, you can complete a full circle around the Broken Islands over the course of 6 days, having the opportunity each day to raise the rep of one of the anglers to “Best Friends”.
To do this, you simply need to fish near the respective angler. This gives you a chance to snag certain rep items that you can then exchange with the corresponding angler. 560 items are needed per angler to reach the highest reputation.
In addition, each angler has a small inventory of toys that are also offered at certain rep levels – just a little bonus.
Only when you are “revered” (“Best Friend”) with all anglers will you receive the achievement “Fishing Friend of the Isles” – and with it new colorations for the Artifact Fishing Rod.
The images shown are from wowhead (see sources).
Are you even interested in the Artifact Fishing Rod? Or do you have enough to do with your “real” Artifact weapons?
The FIFA 18 Web App is coming: When is the release of the Ultimate Team app? When will the Web App be released? When does it start? What features and functions will the Web App have?
It is simply part of the experience for many FUT players: The Web App for the “Ultimate Team” mode. With it, you can manage your Ultimate Teams even when you are not at the console.
Soon, the Web App will be updated and made suitable for “FIFA 18”. Here’s all the information.
FUT 18 – Start of the Web App – Release Date

The Web App for FIFA 18 will start on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 – Update: The app is live!
The Companion App should be available the following day, on September 21.
In FIFA 17, the Web App went live on September 20 – exactly one week before the main game’s release. September 20, 2017 is also just under a week before the Early Access for FIFA 18.
The Web App is expected to be taken offline on September 15, 2017, so that EA Sports can perform maintenance and prepare the app for FIFA 18.
Transfer Market, SBCs, and more – Features of the FIFA 18 Web App
What you can do in the new Web App is already known. These are the main features:
Early Access and Rewards for “FIFA 17” Players / Veteran Rewards
Note that not all players will receive Early Access to the Web App. You must have created and answered a security question in the Web App before August 1 to access the new Web App before the launch of FIFA 18.
Otherwise, you will only gain access once you log into FIFA 18, create your club in FUT 18, and answer a security question. With this security question, you can then access the Web App.
That means that only “returning FUT players” can access the Web App a few days before the launch of FIFA 18. These veterans can look forward to some rewards:
“Welcome Back” sets for players who were already active in FUT 17
Daily gifts: If you log into the app daily, you will receive rewards. These gifts should last into October.
There is also a Starter Pack with which you can build your club.
More information about the Web App:
The Web App is free
It supports all platforms (PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC)
The Web App only runs on desktop. Mobile devices require the Companion App
Once the Web App for FUT 18 is live, there will be no more Web App for FUT 17

Spoiler Alert: Now follows a stream that naturally provides information about Destiny 2.
Live Stream of the Release for Destiny 2
The first streams are already live. Here, Schausix is streaming.
If you have characters that were transferred from Destiny 1 to Destiny 2, they will be available to you right away. They look like before and are Level 1 with a Power Level of 100.
If you are at home now and want to prepare for the launch of Destiny 2, here we have compiled the most important information:
Destiny 2 offers you three basic classes: Hunter, Titan, and Warlock. It’s a tough choice. We want to know which class you want to try first when Destiny 2 starts.
Destiny 2 is an MMO shooter with role-playing influences. Besides your skill with the gun, each class offers unique features that are distinctly theirs. As in the first Destiny game, you also have the choice between the basic classes Titan, Warlock, and Hunter in Destiny 2. But which class are you drawn to first? Will you stick with your Destiny 1 favorite or do you want to try something different this time?
Destiny 2: Classes – Hunter, Warlock, or Titan?
In Destiny 2, you can choose your class at the beginning.
Titan: Titans are frontline fighters and defenders. They can erect protective barriers but also deal heavy damage. Titans are equipped with jet boosters, allowing them to take off briefly and gain height quickly. Especially cool: In the new subclass “Sentinel,” the Titan becomes a kind of Captain America, as he uses an indestructible round shield for both defense and attack.
Warlock: Warlocks utilize mystical powers that grant them healing abilities and powerful ranged attacks. Warlocks glide through the air with ease. The new subclass is the “Dawnblade.” Its super is a flaming sword that hurls “Solar blades” at enemies.
Hunter: Hunters are agile and nimble characters who can quickly move between cover and adeptly dodge attacks. Hunters are also swift in the air and can quickly change direction. Thanks to double or multiple jumps, this is no problem. The subclass “Arcstrider” unlocked automatically during gameplay is particularly strong in close combat due to its high speed and the Arc Staff.
Destiny 2: Which Guardian type will you play first?
Each of these classes has its own charm in Destiny 2. Which one will you play?
We have prepared a poll on the topic of “Classes in Destiny 2.” On September 6, 2017, the release day of Destiny 2 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, we will publish the results. You can only choose one class. Have fun voting!
During PAX West, Ubisoft showcased new gameplay footage of Far Cry 5. Check out three videos here showing what vehicles, weapons, and other features await you in the game.
Have you been infected by the Far Cry 5 fever? In recent months, there have been more and more “treats” that slowly but surely got the hype train for the shooter back on the right track.
Initially, there were short teaser videos showing scenes of the city idyll and a clock tower. Now, you can get to know the game through extensive gameplay videos.
The latest videos come from the PAX West convention and shed light on the facets of Far Cry 5 more accurately than before.
Far Cry 5 Gameplay, Graphics, Weapons
Fans of the Far Cry series are probably counting down the days until the release of “5”. Tip: There are still 175 days left.
To sweeten the wait, there are new gameplay videos for Far Cry 5. In the game, you are supposed to protect the town of Hope County from “The Project at Eden’s Gate”. Eden’s Gate is an apocalyptic cult that wants to take over the town. You side with the citizens and lead the resistance.
During PAX West, the demo version of Far Cry 5 was extensively playable. Again featured is the Widowmaker – a powerful truck that can break through barriers. The loyal dog companion “Boomer” also shows why he can be really “OP” and almost completes missions on his own (Part 3).
In the gameplay footage, you can also see that shot enemies (depending on the severity of the injury) initially go down, but can then be revived by allies. You will get more insights from the three following videos.

And Bluehole, who are responsible for Tera and PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds
Back then it was said about Project W:
it is supposed to become a blockbuster PC MMORPG
it is also supposed to be released in North America and Europe
behind the game are developers from Aion, Tera, and ArcheAge
it is being developed with the Unreal Engine 3 and is a real eye-catcher
There are no further details about the game. It was mentioned in an interview with the Black Desert people in January 2017, that “Project W” is being further developed and is supposed to come to the West. Kakao will distribute it here. However, there were no details given about it. Since then, there has been silence, and no further information has reached the public.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is currently the topic at Bluehole, not Project W
Now the site 2p checked what is going on with Project W. Bluehole has meanwhile had the hit “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” and it is grabbing all the attention.
Apparently, Project W is still in development, but still in an early stage. Currently, Bluehole is looking for more developers for Project W, such as character artists, combat and balance designers, and many more. This is evident from Bluehole’s career page.
By the way, the title image and the other image are not actually from Project W, but from “Project Exa” – which was supposed to be the further development of Tera and could have been a precursor to Project W. “Project W” is just the working title; in Korea, games that are still in development are sometimes given such mysterious names.
This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.
Co-op is an important aspect of Destiny 2. Which activities can be played in Co-op mode? Is the campaign also playable in a group? An overview of the Co-op content.
Destiny 2 is a versatile MMO shooter: You can dive into war against the Cabal solo, compete against other Guardians in PvP, and play Co-op with your friends while shooting aliens in the face.
It is this extensive Co-op aspect that makes Destiny 2 appealing to many players. Facing PvE opponents together, discovering secrets, and taking down big bosses together draws numerous Guardians regularly into the Destiny universe. The social component in Destiny 2 holds the game together.
But which PvE activities can actually be tackled cooperatively?
PvE content with Co-op mode in Destiny 2 – the campaign is included
In principle: All content that you can start solo, you can also start with friends. However, there are different Co-op experiences.
These are all Co-op contents:
The Campaign: The story missions can be completed in a fireteam of up to 3 players. However, the initial moments can only be experienced solo. After that, you can immediately call your friends for help. You will receive a notification once Co-op (and PvP) become active.
In the campaign, it is about the war against Ghaul and his Red Legion
Strikes: These are standalone instances that are tackled in a fireteam of 3 players. If you don’t have two friends with you, two random players will be matched with you via matchmaking. In the strikes, you must face a variety of enemies; at the end, there is a final boss.
Nightfall Strikes: A weekly activity that is a harder version of a “normal” strike. Through Nightfall strikes, you can earn powerful loot at the endgame. The “Nightfall,” as it is called in English, can be played with three players in the fireteam.
Raid: The raid represents the longest, most difficult, and most comprehensive PvE Co-op activity. Little is known about the raid in Destiny 2, but it is expected that you will face multiple bosses, decipher mechanics, and master jumping sections. Raids can – and should – be played with 6 players.
Open-World Activities: In Destiny 2, there are four worlds that all have an “Open World.” You can freely explore these worlds and complete activities within them. You can fly into the Open World both solo and with friends – but not only that: During your exploration, you will also encounter other random players who are not in your fireteam. Together, you can participate in public events, explore Lost Sectors, or just fool around. You should also be able to observe other players as they complete Adventures, short side missions, in the Open World. All Open World activities can be found in our PvE guide.
Flashpoints: Flashpoints are basically part of the Open World activities. In a region marked as a Flashpoint, events must be completed. Then there are powerful items that have Nightfall strike level. Flashpoints count as weekly activities. They can also be played in a group.
These are all currently known PvE Co-op activities. There may be more, or new ones will be introduced in future expansions. We will then update this article.
Co-op only Online or also in Split-Screen?
Destiny 2 is an MMO shooter that you can only play with your online friends. Nothing is known about a split-screen mode. Therefore, only one player can play on a console or PC at a time.
If you are still looking for new companions for Destiny 2, then join a clan or create one yourself:

Dark and Light is successful despite existing problems. A lot has changed since its launch, and now a major update is set to release this autumn, which will bring a host of improvements and new features.
The team explains that the autumn update will primarily address a whole range of current issues in the game. However, the developers here will not provide specific details. It would be desirable for the performance to be significantly improved.
An update with many adjustments
At the moment, it is not yet clear when the autumn update for the survival MMO Dark and Light will be released and what it will bring. A few days ago, however, a new patch was released. This update brought a series of balancing adjustments. This is intended to make the hunting of creatures more enjoyable and exciting.
New, even larger mythical creatures have been added. The developers also worked on the taming system. Because you now need resources corresponding to the strength of the creatures you want to tame after the update.

Curious fact about PUBG: PlayerUnknown worked on a battle royale mode for H1Z1 at Sony in 2015. But then everything changed. Today, Microsoft has snatched the hit, and PUBG’s future on the PS4 seems uncertain.
It’s a strange story that gains irony in hindsight. The studio “Sony Online Entertainment” belonged to Sony but never quite fit into the corporation. At the helm of SOE was the controversial John Smedley. Smedley has extensive experience in game design, having worked on Everquest and Star Wars Galaxies, but he was also known for rubbing people the wrong way.
In 2014/2015, his Sony studio was not in a good place. The existing MMOs of the studio (Everquest, DC Universe Online, Planetside 2) were all aging, and only the massive project “Everquest Next” offered any future promise. However, there had been no updates for a long time.
At that time, the asset at SOE was H1Z1, a zombie survival game that had just entered early access and sparked a mini hype – but the game was still rough, and that hype was in danger of fading away.
In January 2015, Sony had all the puzzle pieces that make PUBG a hit today
The amazing thing is that Smedley in January 2015 brought on board the battle royale inventor “PlayerUnknown” to help create a battle royale mode for H1Z1. Smedley had already recognized great potential in Brendan Greene and his idea of “Battle Royale” back in 2014. At that time, Greene was just a modder.
Smedley called him before Christmas 2014 and said, “We should talk. I’m John Smedley, the President of SOE.” Shortly after, Greene was working for Sony on H1Z1.
But that wasn’t all: Smedley also had the idea to fully embrace Twitch, inviting streamers to promote his games. He had even done that before H1Z1.
Basically, Smedley, who was working for Sony, had all the ideas in January 2015 that would make “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds” a gaming hit in 2017:
enter early access
fully embrace battle royale
bring in PlayerUnknown and have him build the mode
All of that was either done or in the works by January 2015 and belonged to Sony.
A month later, everything was different
But back then, that was not recognized, and it seemingly came too early.
The studio “SOE” was practically sold off immediately after PlayerUnknown started there and continued as the “Daybreak” studio on its own – H1Z1, the battle royale mode, Smedley, and PlayerUnknown had nothing more to do with Sony.
The timeline of Sony/PlayerUnknown is:
December 2014: Smedley recruits PlayerUnknown for H1Z1 and Sony Online Entertainment
January 2015: The two present the “Battle Royale” concept for H1Z1 and say that it holds great potential
February 2015: Sony separates from the studio, and it continues on its own.
Quite curious. What happened next?
Smedley later stepped down from his job there after a controversy. Everquest Next was later canceled.
H1Z1 was turned into two games – the battle royale shooter King of the Kill was successful for a while but has since been overtaken by PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.
PUBG and Sony and Microsoft – an interesting relationship triangle
Ironically, competitor Microsoft has now snatched the ultra-hot shooter PUBG as a “console partner,” and Sony players are anxious about whether PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds will still come to their console. PUBG will likely be released for the PS4, but later than for the Xbox One. All of this could have been different.
My MMO thinks: The admittedly hypothetical question is whether H1Z1 could have become the hit PUBG is today with more money and help from Sony in 2015. We don’t know.
The amazing thing is that Everquest creator John Smedley already suspected in 2015 what would become the hit in 2017. Smedley basically did everything right but has no part of it today because he is no longer involved with the games. But it’s worth keeping an eye on Smedley; perhaps he has an idea about what will take off in 2019.
