In FIFA 18 FUT, the Player of the Month for the Premier League in September is announced. Harry Kane receives a special card in Ultimate Team along with Squad-Building Challenges for the “Premier League Player of the Month.”
Every month, EA Sports awards a “Player of the Month” from the Premier League. First, 7 candidates who showed strong performances on the pitch during the month are nominated. A winner is then determined through a public vote and the opinions of Premier League experts and club captains.
This “Player of the Month” then receives a purple-gold special card in FUT 18, which you can earn through Squad-Building Challenges.
On October 13, EA Sports announced the Player of the Month (POTM) for September: it is Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur.
The other candidates were Alvaro Morata, Jamaal Lascelles, Kevin De Bruyne, Pascal Gross, Romelu Lukaku, and Sergio Aguero. Harry Kane scored 6 goals in 4 games in September:

POTM in September – How to get the card – Ultimate Team
The standard card of Kane has a rating of 86. The new POTM card has an overall rating of 89: You have two options to play with this POTM card:
Harry Kane – SBC: You need to complete a total of four Squad-Building Challenges to finish the entire Harry Kane SBC group. The group reward is a permanent, untradeable POTM card of him.
Harry Kane as a loan player: If you just want a loan player card of him, you can master the respective SBC for that. Only one SBC is required for this. Kane’s POTM card will then be available to you for 20 matches.
These Squad-Building Challenges are live for two weeks starting now (October 13). If you are looking for solutions for the SBCs, you will find them on the futhead page. Solutions from the community should be listed here over the coming days.
By the way: The POTM for September was Sadio Mané. You can still unlock his card until tonight at 7 PM.
In Destiny 2 the endgame is under heavy criticism. Bungie is now working out plans for the future.
In recent weeks, not a day went by without multiple complaint posts on the Destiny Reddit front page. These had and still have hundreds of comments and thousands of upvotes. Most of these complaints revolve around a single topic that is currently on the Guardians’ minds: The endgame of Destiny 2.
Complaints like these are frequently seen:
There is too little to do in the endgame, and the variety is lacking.
The token system is boring and far too dominant. People want gear drops after activities, not tokens.
The PvP is monotonous. Even events like Iron Banner are basically just regular quick matches with different tokens as rewards.
Since there are no more “God Rolls” but fixed weapon perks, the hunt for the best weapon rolls, which motivated players for a long time in Destiny 1, has vanished.
In Destiny 2, players are overwhelmed with exotics. Many Guardians have already completed their collections and have no reasons to log in daily.
The list could easily be extended further. What most Guardians are concerned about: They expected the endgame in Destiny 2 to be more motivating. Compared to Destiny 1, there are several steps back here.
Now Bungie is reacting to all this feedback and criticism.
Bungie discusses the endgame internally
The community manager Cozmo dedicates a whole section in the current “This Week at Bungie” to this endgame criticism.
He writes that since the launch of Destiny 2, there has been a lot of feedback about the game across the vastness of the internet. He himself has always kept an eye on the feedback forum at Bungie, but also on all other channels where Guardians share their ideas.
Some topics are quite broad, like “Ways to make the Crucible more fun”, while other posts are more specific, such as “Add a way to delete multiple shaders at once.”
At Bungie, they read as many suggestions as possible. This also caught the developers’ attention: There have been numerous discussions about the endgame and how to improve it.
Cozmo also shares: At this moment, these endgame discussions are taking place in the Bungie studio as well. They are listening to the feedback, but they still need time to sort everything out and work on plans for the future.
Soon, they will be able to say more about it. Until then, Guardians are encouraged to keep the discussions about the endgame going.
In other words, changes to the endgame are in planning. One may wonder when these will come and how the endgame will change as a result. Will Bungie turn the right screws to satisfy the Guardians?
What do you think needs to change urgently in the endgame?
Soon, a new endgame activity will be added – despite the exploit:
What do you think about loot boxes in MMOs? Do they bother you or do you enjoy unpacking colorful boxes that spit out wonderful loot?
MMOs and online games have caused many controversial topics, and one of them is loot boxes. To explain briefly: Loot boxes or loot crates are usually boxes that you can earn in the game or purchase for real money.
Sometimes they are available only for real euros. Loot boxes always contain a randomly generated amount of more or less useful items for the respective game. Mostly, these are cosmetic items like skins or boosters that help you progress faster in the game.
The loot box is my friend!
This is a fine thing at first. Because skins and progress items are always useful. And then there is this wonderful feeling when you open a box. Especially Blizzard stages this perfectly in its games Overwatch and Heroes of the Storm: The box shakes just before opening, bursts spectacularly, and then throws out the previously hidden items.
Then the loot is gradually revealed and you enjoy it like a little child unwrapping Christmas gifts. Just this feeling is overwhelming. When the loot is also fitting and there is a coveted item among them, the feeling of happiness is indescribable!
The loot box is the devil!
As much as loot boxes awaken the child in us, they are also viewed controversially by many players. Because almost always, the little loot boxes are associated with microtransactions. Often you can only acquire the boxes with real money. However, they usually don’t cost much and can be had for a few cents.
There is a great danger of completely losing control over one’s spending and spending too much money. After all, the next box could contain a legendary item or the one missing skin for my cool set! This borders on gambling and poses a danger for careless players and children.
Pay2Win in the box
Even worse are loot boxes in the eyes of many gamers when they contain not just fluff and boosters, but tangible items with gameplay advantages. The most recent example of such controversial loot boxes is Star Wars: Battlefront 2.
Jürgen says: Loot boxes are great, pay2win is not!
I celebrate all forms of randomly generated loot and I loved opening tickets at the fair or unwrapping gifts as a small child. Therefore, I always look forward to loot boxes and like to buy a few boxes in games that I enjoy, such as ESO. I gleefully enjoy when I open them and the loot flies around me. It doesn’t really matter to me what’s inside; the mere act of opening it is fun!
Only with Pay2Win boxes does the fun come to an end for me; a loot box should contain at most boosters related to gameplay items, ideally only cosmetic items like in Overwatch. In my opinion, this game gets everything right in that regard.
But enough about me, what do you think? Are loot boxes actually a fine thing as long as they aren’t too expensive and pay2win? Or is such “gambling” in games completely unacceptable, and should loot boxes be banned? Let us know in the comments!

When will PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) be released on Xbox One? According to official statements, everything is proceeding as planned and we can expect the release in 2017.
It has been a while since we heard any news about the Xbox One port for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. The topic came up during Microsoft’s press conference at Gamescom. There it was explained that the release of PUBG for Xbox One is set to take place later in 2017.
It has now been officially confirmed that this release timeframe will be maintained.
Xbox One Release of PUBG
So far, we have not seen any gameplay footage or tests of PUBG on Xbox One hardware. But that doesn’t mean nothing is happening behind the scenes. According to Xbox, everything is going according to plan. This can at least be seen in this tweet that Xbox marketing chief Aaron Greenberg published.
He is excited about the great success and the 2-million-player milestone of PUBG, and he also states, “we are working hard to release the game on Xbox during the holidays.”

By “Holiday,” the period before Christmas is meant, when the Christmas shopping begins. This can be weeks, if not months, before the actual Christmas holidays.
However, PUBG does not have a fixed release date on Xbox One yet. As soon as it is set, you will hear about it here on Mein-MMO.de.
PS4 Release of PUBG?
When a PS4 release of PUBG will occur is still unclear. Recently, Microsoft was still in talks with developer Bluehole to negotiate an extension of the exclusive deal for Xbox.

Final Fantasy XIV received a boost of new housing plots with Patch 4.1 “The Legend Returns”. Unfortunately, many players were left empty-handed and expressed their frustration loudly. Chief Developer Naoki Yoshida apologized for this and promised improvements in the next patch.
The major content patch 4.1 “The Legend Returns” for Final Fantasy XIV was supposed to bring more housing plots in Shirogane, alongside a raid and more story. But the 720 new housing spaces were gone in just a few minutes. Many players couldn’t even log in to the game in time for the housing hunt because they were stuck in queues.
This caused a lot of anger. Many players demanded solutions for the scarce housing market in the forum and on Reddit, threatening to cancel their subscriptions!
Naoki Yoshida promises a solution in Update 4.2
The entire mess was not ignored by developer Square Enix. Rather, they made the housing issue a top priority, and Chief Developer Naoki Yoshida himself wrote an apology for the housing fail in the official forum.
There, Yoshida formally apologized for the created trouble. They apparently did not expect such a surge of housing moves to Shirogane. Additionally, a bug prevented a planned restriction function from triggering with so many housing moves. However, there is already a hotfix available for this.
But this does not solve the problem of the limited housing market. Therefore, Square Enix plans to create new residential districts in all four residential areas in the next update 4.2. To optimally plan this, they want to rely on collected fan feedback.
The next “secret weapon” is set to be a new Pokémon generation. Additionally, a battle mode for Pokémon GO is planned for 2018.
To keep the mobile game “Pokémon GO” interesting for many trainers, new updates must be regularly released. With new content such as events, new monsters, or new features like raids, the developers bring fresh air into the game. This way, new trainers are brought into the game and veterans are given more reasons to play.
The next major content update will reportedly be the third generation of Pokémon, according to John Hanke.
Generation 3 is coming “soon”
As reported by PokémonGOHub, John Hanke, the head of Niantic, recently spoke with the Taiwanese Business Weekly. There, he shared new information about upcoming features and the future of Pokémon GO in an interview.
Regarding the third generation, Hanke explained: “There are still many Pokémon that cannot be found in Pokémon GO so far. The next secret weapon will be the release of the next Pokémon generation. I hope that players can see it soon.“
It can be concluded that the third generation will soon appear as the next major content update in Pokémon GO. However, Hanke did not mention a specific date in the interview. So let’s wait and see what data miners will find in the game’s code soon, or whether Niantic will share official news with us shortly.
Niantic has already frequently mentioned a new battle mode in the past. The topic was discussed again in the aforementioned interview. However, the translation does not clarify whether it is indeed the PvP mode that many trainers are hoping for.
Hanke says: “We are working on developing a new battle mode. This is very interesting for us. We are trying to implement the mode for 2018.”
So after the big Gen-3 update, a battle mode is on the list. We hope to receive more information on this topic soon. A PvP mode, where trainers can directly compete against other trainers, has been requested since the release of the game in the summer of 2016.
Hanke also mentions further new social features that are intended to enhance group gameplay. What features do you wish for in the game?
Originally, the prestige raid, a harder version of the raid with prestige loot, was supposed to launch last Tuesday, but it has been postponed due to the exploit. It is now scheduled for next Wednesday, October 18. After all, Bungie wants to crown the “World First Run” again, and a significant exploit does not provide a foundation for fair competition.
The developers wanted to implement a solution, a fix for the problem, in time – but this will not be possible for the moment.
Fix is still delayed, prestige raid will take place anyway
Bungie has now commented on this exploit issue. They have been working on a fix, but found that the temporary solution involves too many risks. They want to avoid destroying other parts of the game for all Guardians while implementing a fix for an exploit used by only some players.
Therefore, a fix has been postponed to a later time.
However: The prestige raid will still start on October 18 at 7 PM. Bungie does not want to keep the Guardians waiting any longer.
During the investigation, they found a way to identify exploit users. In other words, if a team uses this exploit, Bungie can exclude them from the race for the World First. This way, they can crown a winner with absolute certainty.
Bungie is still working on a reliable fix for the problem. It is set to be implemented with a future update.
Raid challenges are coming
The prestige raid will not be the last innovation coming to the Leviathan raid. In the future, raid challenges are planned to be introduced.
Bungie announces that they will discuss these raid challenges next week. They have been designed so that you can approach the raid encounters in different ways than you have done in the past weeks.
Raid challenges were first introduced to the Destiny universe in Winter 2015. They require specific mechanics to allow the individual phases to drop additional loot. How these mechanics work is something the community will have to discover for themselves.
The Halloween Photobombing from Overwatch is entering a new round – and becoming sillier than ever before.
Halloween is the time in Overwatch when all players want to grab as many loot boxes as possible to snag the cool event skins. Because until November 1st, during the Overwatch Halloween Terror 2017, there are plenty of new items to get.
But the Halloween event also features the game mode Junkenstein’s Revenge. In this mode, it’s mainly about two things: Eliminating Zomnics and photobombing. Because during the game mode, bosses keep appearing, announced by a short cutscene. Since this cutscene is calculated live in-game and time does not completely stop, your characters can burst into the scenes.
A small competition has broken out in the community to see who can execute the best photobombing to humorously ruin the appearance of the various bosses. Here we present a small selection of the highlights from Reddit so far.
Halloween Photobombing in 2017
McCree is way too cheerful for being stuck in a Zomnic hell. It’s hard to explain how happy he looks grinning at the camera with Junkenstein’s monster.

Another clip comes from OmegaReu. He doesn’t just photobomb the summoner’s photo – he completely blocks it. Apparently, McCree’s abs have taken over the job. The ladies must like that!

Teabagging is almost a common courtesy in the community. But as long as it only affects NPCs, probably no one can say anything against it. XeRoXayuki shows that Widowmaker seems to care little about Mercy’s appearance – and steals the show from her directly.

There’s this Soldier, who rudely holds up the Loser-L to all players. It could be a bit friendlier, don’t you think?
When does Destiny 2 launch on PC in Germany? When do the servers go live? The release date with the exact start time – and the system requirements – are now known!
Soon the Guardian community will grow: Destiny 2 is coming to PC in just a few days. Bungie invites all PC players to face Ghaul and his Red Legion.
The official release date for the PC version of Destiny 2 is October 24, 2017. This is a Tuesday. This date applies to both the disc version and the digital version via battle.net.
The servers will go online worldwide at the same time:
In Germany and all of Central Europe, the launch will occur at 7 PM. Here is a graphic from Bungie about it:
Thus, Bungie takes a different approach for the PC launch than for the console launch. When Destiny 2 was released on PS4 and Xbox One, there was a “rolling midnight launch”. This means that the servers went online worldwide at different times, starting in New Zealand, through Australia and Europe to North America.
The PC launch, however, is simultaneous worldwide – in Australia, New Zealand and large parts of Asia, it starts on October 25.
By the way: The official reason why the PC version is released a month and a half later than the console launch, which was on September 6, is that the developers needed more time to make the PC version as good as possible. However, the fact that console Guardians now have a significant lead and numerous secrets have been solved long ago still annoys many PC players.
A resource for all Guardians who have a question about Destiny 2 is our guide collection for Destiny 2. Particularly PC Guardians are welcome to browse through it at launch.

The Elder Scrolls Online offers you a new raid with the upcoming DLC Clockwork City in October. In it, you can choose which bosses to tackle and how many enemies to face at once.
Clockwork City, the last DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online in 2017, brings you a large new map in the legendary Clockwork City. There, you can expect more quests, more story, new challenges, and a new trial. This is what raids are called in ESO.
In the “Sanctum Asylum,” you will encounter three powerful bosses and can decide in what order and number you want to approach them.
New Trial “Sanctum Asylum” – Take Down the Saints!
The new raid is called “Sanctum Asylum.” The namesake asylum was built to contain the three Saints of the Tribunal. These pious individuals were meant to attain immortality at the Tribunal’s behest. This was to be realized by encasing their souls in mechanical constructs.
Unfortunately, the three Saints Olms, Felms, and Llothis went mad due to this procedure and had to be confined in the Sanctum Asylum from that point on. There, they have completely lost control, and your heroes must defeat them before they cause even more damage.
One Boss at a Time or All at Once?
The fight against the Saints is the theme of the new raid, but instead of just plowing through the end bosses, this time you can choose when and how to fight the individual Saints. Olms is your end boss, and before that, you can take down the other two Saints or go directly for Olms.
If you choose to tackle the last Saint directly, then his two companions will join him in the final battle. So you will face three bosses at once!
With this, the developers want to create an additional challenge besides the usual veteran mode (which still exists!).
Become a Clockwork Monster Yourself!
As a reward, you can look forward to special equipment sets, and for players who conquer the veteran mode at the highest level, there are special “perfected” weapons matching the quality of master and Maelstrom weapons.
Additionally, there is a chance to get an ultra-rare rune box. This box can transform you into a clockwork being externally if you wish. If you haven’t used it yet, you can even resell it!
In FIFA 18, the first Prime versions of the Icons are available. You can now earn the cards through SBCs or pack them in Ultimate Team.
Update 23.11.: The next Prime Icons are here:
Update 2.11.: Here are the next Prime Icons:
One of the biggest innovations in FUT 18 is the Icons, which are available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch.
With these Icon cards, EA Sports brings back famous star footballers to the virtual pitch, who have shown outstanding performances in the past and left a lasting impression on the world football stage. These players are no longer active as professionals.
The special thing about these Icons is that each Icon has not just one, but three cards. These cards have different values, reflecting the various phases in the careers of the Icons. They have different images and can also have different positions.
The Prime versions of Alessandro del Piero, Rui Costa, and Marc Overmars
Two card versions of the Icons have been available in packs since the launch of FIFA 18. The third version is only available at specific times during the season. This is the “Prime ICON Version”, the best Icon version that you can obtain through SBCs and packs.
Since October 12 at 7 PM, these three Prime Icons are in the game:
And here are all three cards of these three Icons with the career phases:
Alessandro Del Piero:
Rui Costa:
Marc Overmars:
You have three options to get the Prime Icons:
Through sets that may contain rare gold players. However, you need a lot of luck!
Through Squad-Building Challenges (SBCs): In the SBCs, select the tab “ICONS”. Here you will find specific SBC groups. Only when you master all SBCs of a group will you receive the Prime ICON card as a reward (untradeable)
Through SBCs (loan players): Loan player cards from these Prime Icons can also be earned. They can be used in 20 games.
Important: The loan player SBCs are only available for one week. They will expire on October 19. The other two options to obtain the Prime Icons will remain available according to EA Sports until the end of FIFA 18.
You found an exotic armor piece for the Warlock in Destiny 2 and don’t know what to do with it in PvE or PvP? We present the Exotics in English and provide build suggestions.
Destiny 2 offers a wealth of exotic weapons and armor that can make your Guardian stronger. Choosing the right gear is essential if you want to tackle the toughest content and gain crucial advantages.
It should be noted: You can only equip one exotic weapon and one exotic armor piece at a time. So the choice of exotic gear should be well thought out.
We now provide you with a list of all exotic armor pieces for the Warlock. Which subclass and build should you play with the exotic armor? Which exotic weapon is suitable?
[toc]
Unlike exotic weapons, the armors are always class-specific. Titans, Hunters, and Warlocks have their own armor pieces that can only be equipped by the respective class.
The Crown of Tempests not only looks stylish but is also quite useful. The exotic helmet has the following intrinsic perk:
Kills with Arc abilities reduce the cooldown of Arc abilities
The exotic helmet “Crown of Tempests”
We recommend the following setup if you want to play with the Crown of Tempests:
Focus – Stormcaller Warlock
Build – Elemental Attunement
Exotic Weapon – Riskrunner
The Crown of Tempests is suitable only for the Stormcaller subclass due to its exotic perk. Its strength is especially pronounced in the skill tree Elemental Attunement (the one on the bottom). Because this build additionally reduces your cooldowns besides the helmet.
With the Electrostatic Surge, your Rift charges faster when allies are nearby. The melee attack Rising Storm also lowers cooldowns. Additionally, you have access to the Arc Soul, a small orb above your shoulder that targets enemies. If your Arc Soul kills an enemy, this also affects the exotic perk of the helmet.
If you now add mods to your armor that further reduce cooldowns, you can let the sparks fly with this build.
The Eye of Another World
The exotic helmet Eye of Another World comes with the following exotic perk:
Marks priority targets and reduces the cooldown of grenade, melee, and Rift abilities
The exotic helmet “Eye of Another World”
As the helmet is class-agnostic, we will not make a specific build suggestion here. The helmet reduces the cooldowns of grenade, melee, and Rift abilities by about 10% (from 1:22 minutes to 1:14 minutes).
And what is meant by priority targets? All enemies in the red (critical) health zone, as well as enemies with full Super ability, will be marked.
Here’s a little tip for the build: Dawnblade Warlocks with the skill tree Celestial Attunement can regenerate grenade and melee abilities in the air with the perk Heat Rises. The helmet further reduces this cooldown.
If you are playing as a Voidwalker, you are much better off with Nezarec’s Sin. And Stormcallers can get more out of the Crown of Tempests.
Nezarec’s Sin
Stormcallers have the Crown of Tempests, while Voidwalkers get to wear the exotic helmet Nezarec’s Sin. The helmet carries this exotic perk:
Void kills accelerate ability energy recharge
The exotic helmet “Nezarec’s Sin”
With the following build, you can make the most out of the helmet:
Focus – Voidwalker Warlock
Build – All
Exotic Weapon – Any exotic weapon with Void element
Unlike the Crown of Tempests, the exotic perk of Nezarec’s Sin is also activated when you get kills with Void weapons. So equip Void weapons in the energy and power weapon slots. If you’re playing solo with the build Hunger’s Edge, you can continuously regenerate health with the ability Devour and recharge your abilities.
The Voidwalker represents one of the best builds in the game with the helmet and Void weapons. Just give it a try! Mods that reduce cooldowns help as well.
Helm of the Destructive Ahamkara
Voidwalkers can also play with the exotic helmet of the Destructive Ahamkara in addition to Nezarec’s Sin. This offers the following bonus:
Additional damage resistance when using the Nova Bomb. Kills with the Nova Bomb grant Super energy
The exotic helmet “Helm of the Destructive Ahamkara”
If you want to try the helmet, we recommend the following settings:
Focus – Voidwalker Warlock
Build – Any
Exotic Weapon – Any
What can you do with a helmet that only provides bonuses when executing the Super ability? Correct, instead equip Nezarec’s Sin, which increases ability recharge not only on Super kills but on all Void kills.
Financial experts downgrade Activision Blizzard. The reason for this is the Overwatch League, which one does not fully believe in.
With the Overwatch League, Blizzard is trying to create its own environment for eSports. There are strict guidelines and requirements: For example, teams must pay their players a specified salary. But is Blizzard really capable of creating a solid eSports environment out of thin air?
“No” say the analysts from Cowen, a group of financial experts active in the stock market.
Since 2008, Activision Blizzard has been rated “outperform” by Cowen – it was part of the elite in the industry for 9 years. During this time, the value of Activision Blizzard’s shares has risen dramatically, by a whopping 600%.
Now, Activision Blizzard has been downgraded by Cowen to “market perform”. The reason for this is the Overwatch League, which they do not want to believe in.
Overwatch League will be a painful “learning experience”
According to Cowen, Blizzard is a pioneer here, and it is “the first time that a publisher wants to start a major eSports league from scratch.” Therefore, they expect that the Overwatch League will not be a big success in its first run, but rather a “learning experience”. Thus, it is assumed that the results will fall significantly short of investors’ expectations.
However, it is common for such a structure in eSports to form over the course of years and not spontaneously. So it could be that the Overwatch League will become a success in the long term.
Do you think the Overwatch League will be a success? Are you interested in eSports in and around Overwatch? Or do you think it’s all clear and destined to fail anyway?
Next week, an event in the Dark Zone is coming up in The Division! Agents can gather more loot.
The State of the Game aired on October 12. In it, the developers discussed the PTS for update 1.8 and upcoming events in the live game.
New Supply Drop Event in The Division
Just a few weeks ago, Massive announced that some events would be held in October. The Global Event “Heist” has already concluded, and now the next event is on the way. This time it’s a “Weekend Event”.
This will take place in the Dark Zone and runs from October 20 to October 22. The event is divided into two parts:
Initially, supply drops will contain additional rewards.
Subsequently, supply drops will appear more frequently in the Dark Zone.
In supply drops, a crate with loot is dropped somewhere in the Dark Zone, which is protected by enemies. Agents who grab the loot first will get it. All others will go home empty-handed.
This means that during the event you have the chance to get more loot or get loot faster through supply drops.
By the way, a few weeks ago, Massive mentioned that an event will be held for Halloween. The format and start date for this are still unknown.
In today’s livestream, developers from Reflections Studios were also invited, who are currently working on the next Global Events 3 and 4. They revealed that Global Events are generally well received in the community. The goal is to change the gameplay experience and the way one plays The Division. They should also be fun. This seems to work quite well.
The two upcoming events aim to bring more explosions (Global Event 3) and to bring the cover shooter aspect back to the forefront (Global Event 4).
The tactician set is bringing back the turret bonus.
So far, only console players who have received an invitation to the PTS 1.7 can participate in the console PTS. New invitations are yet to be sent out. They apologize for the delay. They expect that you will receive the emails with the keys in the coming hours, overnight from Thursday to Friday.
Fortnite is bringing out the heavy artillery and is now suing two cheaters for violations of copyright and end-user agreements.
The developers of Fortnite are now showing that they are serious about their fight against cheaters. Lawsuits have been filed in North Carolina against two players who are alleged to have violated Epic’s copyright and end-user license agreements.
Fortnite Means Business
Last week, we reported on the Fortnite developers’ plans to take a hard stance against cheaters. In an official statement, they explained that no one wants to play with cheaters and that the detection of fraudsters is the top priority.
Thousands of cheaters have already been banned, but that is not enough. The developers still want to work on tools to keep cheaters out of the game.
With this announcement, they seem to mean business, as the matter is now going to court. The lawsuits are directed at two cheaters who violated Fortnite’s copyright by altering the game’s code. This violation means that the players breached the end-user agreement.
One of the defendants has been banned from the game nine times, by the way.
The complaint reveals that both defendants are linked to a website that offers cheats. They are listed there as support staff or moderators. The lawsuit demands $150,000 in damages.
The lawsuits have been uploaded on the Torrentfreak website. Here you can view them: Lawsuit 1 and Lawsuit 2.
Fortnite receives update 1.22 (PS4, Xbox One) with patch 1.7.1 (PC), which fixes bugs, improves performance, and continues to crack down on cheaters. Additionally, there is increased speed and improved progression in the PvE mode.
The Fortnite developers Epic Games hate cheaters. The creators of Fortnite are taking legal action against cheaters and are doing everything possible to ruin their gaming experience. Therefore, the latest patch 1.7.1 for Fortnite, which is now live, brings additional anti-cheat measures along with numerous new features.
Anti-Cheat Software, Reporting Function & Faster Party Bus in Battle Royale
To better combat cheaters, Fortnite: Battle Royale introduces with update 1.7.1 the anti-cheat tool BattlEye in addition to the already existing anti-cheat measures. Furthermore, you can now report players directly in-game if they cheat, troll, or flame.
However, there are also some changes to gameplay in the Battle Royale mode:
The game will be even faster, as the party bus, from which you jump at the beginning of the round, is now 50 percent faster. Additionally, you drop to the ground 50 percent faster. This way, the action starts even quicker.
The storm now also engulfs the last zone that remains.
The semi-automatic sniper rifle now deals 50 percent more damage and should be chosen more often.
The assault rifle with scope has become 33 percent weaker because it was simply too good.
Rocket launchers now reload 20 percent slower, so rocket spam is over!
The submachine gun is 10 percent stronger, as it was previously too weak at medium range.
In duo and squad modes, the player who scores a kill gets the points, regardless of who finishes off the enemy.
The locations “Tomato Town”, “Dusty Depot”, and “Salty Springs” now have names on the map and new buildings.
There are now statistics. A leaderboard will be coming later.
Progress in Horde Mode Now Based on Overall PvE Progress
PvE players also receive new features with patch 1.7.1 for their game mode. Most importantly, veterans no longer have to grind indefinitely in Horde mode.
Instead, their progress in previous gameplay will now be credited to their progression in Horde mode. Additionally, your stats in Horde mode will progressively improve with higher levels.
In addition to the mobile version Ishtar Commander, the Destiny Item Manager shines as a fully integrated browser solution for item management in Destiny 2. We present the highlights!
Destiny 2 is a looter-shooter. More and more equipment and weapons accumulate that need to be managed. The possibilities for infusing gear, adding shaders or mods are so diverse that a good item management system is worth its weight in gold.
Even though Bungie offers an in-house app (the Destiny Companion App for Google and Apple’s iOS), community-developed solutions are significantly more practical and additionally feature things that are missing from Bungie’s official app.
Anyone who is on the go will be happy with the Ishtar Commander. Anyone who has their computer (or smartphone) handy while gaming can also be happy with the Destiny Item Manager (DIM).
A real highlight of DIM is the ability to view your reputation progress for each faction. The ranks have been removed in-game – the Destiny Item Manager makes them visible again! We will now introduce you to this and other core features of DIM.
It is also possible to open DIM on smartphone and tablet. When you go to the DIM page, an app can be opened.
After logging in with your Bungie account, a tidy view of all your characters including the available equipment awaits you.
The interface of the Destiny Item Manager in the browser
Directly under your character emblems, you will find the maximum equippable power level as well as the respective point distribution in resilience, mobility, and recovery. Below you will find all the focuses that your Guardians have already unlocked. If you are in a quest step to obtain a focus, the progress for this will also be displayed.
Once again, under the focuses, you will find the inventory of the respective Guardian, starting with weapons, through armor, to the rest of the inventory like ships, emblems, and gestures.
Not in the game, but in DIM – The Faction Reputation Levels!
At the very bottom, you can view your theoretical reputation ranks for the different factions. Bungie has removed these ranks of the different vendors in-game, but has left them in the database. Apps like DIM can read and display these. So you can quickly see how far you have leveled your factions. Nice!
The reputation ranks of the factions in Destiny 2
Many Guardians complain that these reputation levels are missing as a progress indicator in Destiny 2 itself. After all, many derive motivation from reaching higher levels. While in Destiny 1 there were still Grimoire points or faction levels directly in the game that indicated long-term progress, such things are missing in Destiny 2.
With the Destiny Item Manager, you can quickly and easily read the reputation levels and compare them with your friends.
Item Management and Load-Outs
If you want to transfer items from one character to another, there are different options. The simplest is to simply drag and drop the desired item from one Guardian to another.
This only works for individual items. If you frequently move a weapon arsenal back and forth, the Load-Out function is perfect. With this feature, you can simply bundle different gear pieces into a package and move them back and forth as needed.
This is how you create a load-out in DIM
A fixed weapon choice for the Crucible? It can be easily created and transferred as needed. You can also create different weapon packages for the Leviathan raid and move them around.
The search function – Easily find duplicates
Another highlight is the search function. Here you can search for specific item types based on short commands. The great feature is the search for duplicates. Simply enter “is:dupe” in the search bar and immediately all items that you own in duplicate will be marked accordingly!
You can find duplicates with the command is:dupe
This also works with other search commands. For example, you can display only helmets or only ghosts.
No bulk disassembling of shaders
However, there are a few minor criticism points. A major disadvantage in Destiny 2 is the abundance of shaders found in the game. The corresponding space in the inventory fills up quickly. Anyone who wants to dismantle shaders they don’t need now has to do it individually.
54 shaders to dismantle individually and manually? No thanks!
A daunting task that DIM cannot (yet) take off your hands. Because the developer of the site has already announced plans to work in this direction.
The mods are also quite overwhelming. If you have three blue mods of the same type, you can convert them into a legendary mod with Banshee-44. If you now have one piece in the vault and the other in the inventory, it is easy to lose track.
Therefore, we wish for future versions a display in DIM that visualizes the interchangeable mods for Banshee-44 and a function to let them flow directly into the inventory.
That all items are linked to DestinyDB is nice, but we hope that this will also be possible for the German version with the German DestinyDB in the future.
What else can you do with DIM, the following introductory video will tell you:

If you haven’t had much to do in Revelation Online in the endgame, you can try the new mega raid “Abyss of Eternal Depths”. There, 9 bosses are waiting for you, and if that’s still not hard enough, you can take on the raid in even tougher versions.
Revelation Online has been on the market for some time now, and as with all MMORPGs, fans are constantly demanding new content. After all, you want to challenge your highly bred heroes against ever-new villains. Therefore, the developers from NetEase and My.com have released a new raid that should meet the highest standards.
7 regular and 2 secret bosses in the raid “Abyss of Depths”
The new raid is called “Abyss of Depths” and takes you through various areas filled with monsters. It starts in dark caves, leads you into icy wastelands, lava caverns, swamps, and jungles. Thick bosses lurk everywhere, seven of which you can and must beat regularly and loot:
Stygian Siren: This nasty flute player is waiting for you in a sunken ship.
Lightning Kirin: This magical dragon uses the power of lightning to annihilate its enemies with electric shocks.
The three Gatekeepers: Anyone who wants to venture deeper into the abyss must measure up to these towering elementals made of fire and steel.
Flameborn Tyrant: This fiery beast is a kind of burning T-Rex. Those who defeat this creature may win it as a loyal mount for their cause.
Ravenous Wretch: This battered creature resides in the swamps and throws poison around.
Devouring Dragon: This creature is not only a glutton by name: It actually devours you whole if you’re not careful.
Ice Queen: The sexy Ice Queen impresses not only with her curves but also decimates her enemies with ice magic.
If these 7 bosses are not enough for you, you can find two more secret final bosses and confront them. The Abyss of Depths is available from level 79 in the following versions:
5-players
10-players
10-players – legendary mode

A skin in Overwatch is particularly popular with the community. Symmetra as a dragon lady inspires many artworks.
Currently, the “Halloween Terror 2017” event is taking place in Overwatch, where players can earn many new items. Among them are 8 legendary skins that all (more or less) fit the Halloween theme. The visual highlight is likely the Symmetra skin that transforms her into a dark dragon lady.
At least Symmetra’s scaly appearance seems to immediately inspire the community to create some artworks. Just a few hours after the skin’s release, there are hundreds of drawings and various artworks of her.
It can be attributed to several reasons why Symmetra has become the focus of fan art. On one hand, the dragon skin turned out to be quite sexy, and on the other hand, it’s the first skin where she really looks evil. Combined with her condescending “laugh” emote, the dragon skin makes Symmetra one of the darkest characters in the game.
We want to briefly introduce a few of these artworks here – but more are being added every hour! It looks like Symmetra is slowly outpacing Widowmaker as the most desired heroine…
Originally, Symmetra was planned to be a villain, but her story simply developed in a different direction. Although she strives for beauty and perfection, she is not willing to do truly evil things for it.
