The Horde advances from the Barrens, moves through Ashenvale and Darkshore, ultimately resulting in the destruction of Teldrassil. The event is portrayed from both sides, so Alliance players experience the story differently than Horde players – as attackers and defenders.
WoW: Pre-event “War of Thorns” might start on July 18
How is this date determined? The “War of the Thorns” event runs on the PTR for exactly four weeks. If you calculate this duration up to the release of Battle for Azeroth on August 14, it results in July 17 – or July 18 here in Europe. After all, the weekly maintenance and thus the patches occur a few hours later for us than in America.
It is still uncertain whether the battle for Undercity, which follows in response, will also be playable in the pre-event. It is possible that the battle will be unlocked shortly before the launch of Battle for Azeroth (or simultaneously).

As Epic announced in a blog post, Fortnite: Battle Royale is set to change in the coming weeks: More play styles should lead to success than just building, shotguns, and rocket launchers. But how do they plan to do that? One thing is clear to our author Robert: Epic must perform a balancing act that may not please everyone.
This is what the typical endgame in Fortnite: Battle Royale currently looks like: The last players have taken refuge in self-built fortresses. A war of attrition begins, usually revolving around destroying enemy fortresses using rocket launchers.
Once the fortress is destroyed, the kangaroo act follows – a shotgun fight consisting of many jumps. After that, a new fortress is built – and the last player is safely eliminated, who is hiding in a bush.
Has a hard time – The Bush
Although victories as a bush camper are still possible, they are far less common than in the early days of the game. The endgame is dominated by
Shotguns,
rocket launchers, and
the reckless building of cover and fortifications.
Initial changes did not have the desired effect: Epic has already made adjustments to the three dominating tools. That these changes have had the desired effect is highlighted in the blog post. Because it announces more profound changes in the coming weeks.
But how will Epic reshape the game to create more promising play styles in the endgame? We will look at four theories!
Theory 1: The building mode will be further restricted
Admittedly, this would be a significant change. Fortnite: Battle Royale stands out not only with its comic graphics and fun skins. The building mode is THE argument for or against Fortnite: Battle Royale.
Less resources mean less building? It’s assumed that Epic will continue to make resource gathering more challenging. Found resource bundles could yield fewer units, and harvesting resources might result in lower returns.
A mode without building? That Epic will abolish the building mode is considered unlikely. However, the developer has a powerful tool at its disposal that allows for various game modes: Limited-time modes. One feasible path could be the permanent introduction of a game mode that completely dispenses with building.
Theory 2: The weapon meta will be completely thrown out
Currently, three weapon categories dominate in Fortnite: Battle Royale:
Assault rifles
Shotguns
Rocket launchers
Previous meta adjustments fizzled out: Epic has made great efforts in the past to bring fresh wind into the game through new weapon types – unsuccessfully. Many weapons are mere gimmicks that can only be effectively used in specific situations.
One must be clear: Except for an assault rifle, a shotgun, and a (rarer) rocket launcher, nothing is needed in combat. All combat situations and ranges are covered with this gear.
This phalanx could be broken with the following measure: Tailor weapons to their niche! This could achieve the use of more than just 3 weapon types, as other guns could also be used for special cases.
What speaks against it: Sounds easier than it is. In theory, the weapons are already separated by starting situation, but they only differ slightly from each other.
No one uses a submachine gun in close combat when shotguns can potentially be deadly with a single hit. No one resorts to an assault rifle with a scope when normal assault rifles can accomplish the task much more reliably.
If weapons are separated even more strictly by area of use, it would encourage the player to think carefully about which equipment to take – tailored to their individual play style.
Theory 3: Adjustments to movement speed, health, shields
Are we too fast in Fortnite: Battle Royale? An uncomfortable question, but one that is warranted. How else can one explain that the shotgun is the best weapon? After all, it requires the least distance to the opponent.
If we were slower, the shotgun would immediately lose its significance. Opponents would have more time to take aim at incoming enemies. Specifically, aggressive players would have to adjust here.
Would more health points help? However, the dominance of the shotgun would also suffer if players’ health points or shields were increased. If the base damage of weapons is not changed, this adjustment would create more room for maneuver – on both sides.
These changes would naturally also raise critical questions: Does Fortnite lose its appeal, especially when watched? Do the battles become too long and thus boring? Valid questions that Epic will surely also consider.
Theory 4: The matchmaking will be changed
Currently, all players are thrown into one pot: Whether pro or complete newbie – anyone can end up in a lobby. It goes without saying that the newbie will likely have little chance of winning the game.
Fortnite: Battle Royale has been playable for about nine months, and most players have advanced and become better. Thus, starting as a complete newbie has become increasingly difficult.
Through skill-based matchmaking, Epic could divide the player base – thus ensuring fair conditions. Beginners could practice among their peers and compete with better players upon successes.
However, skill-based matchmaking also has disadvantages: Specifically, better players will have to stretch themselves in every round to achieve an epic victory.
Changing the balance in Fortnite will be a tightrope act
Whatever Epic does, parts of the player base will not be pleased. Epic has a tightrope act ahead, one that must promote dynamic gameplay while still being easily accessible.
Players who join new and become frustrated after a few rounds have a negative impact on the overall numbers. Epic has faced a similar balancing act before: Paragon. The outcome is known. Paragon was able to gain more players in the short term, but alienated the veterans and was ultimately discontinued.
The next Faction Rally is coming up in Destiny 2 again. In the second group fight of Season 3, the factions are once again enticing with armor ornaments and exotic masterwork catalysts. We have all the information about the date, start time, loot, and changes of the event.
Next week it’s time again. With the weekly reset on June 26, the factions will enter the Tower and proudly spread their banners. Dead Orbit, New Monarchy, and the Future War Cult call the Guardians to arms to push their own interests.
Players will then have a week to stand up for their faction and continue to rank up or try their luck with another group. The hunt for event-specific armor ornaments and exotic masterwork catalysts thus starts anew.
The first faction event after the return of group fights was won by Dead Orbit. Will New Monarchy be able to knock him off the winner’s podium this time?

The changes you need to be aware of since the start of Season 3
Your faction choice is now more important: Bungie has given the oath of allegiance to a faction a more significant role. Swearing allegiance to a group is now a meaningful decision.
During the Faction Rally, you can only pledge allegiance to one faction – per account! So the decision should be well considered.
There is a new reputation progress system. Progress with each group will be maintained throughout the events of Season 3 – even if you switch factions.
Each faction entices its followers with unique rewards, such as exotic armor ornaments or masterwork catalysts for specific exotic weapons.
A total of three group fights will take place during Season 3.
Faction vendors and loot have changed: Seasonal vendor progress has been introduced with the corresponding faction representatives – just like with the Iron Banner or the Vanguard. The following points should be noted:
Each faction now has ranks that can be advanced using group-specific tokens.
Rank advancements will still grant rewards in the form of legendary armor and weapons – even after reaching rank 30.
Dead Orbit offers its most loyal followers at level 50 the Graviton Lance catalyst and an ornament for the Warlock helmet “Eye of Another World”.
The New Monarchy can accordingly present the workhorse catalyst and an ornament for the Titan chest piece “Mark of Alpha Lupi”.

Fallout 76 will take place in West Virginia, but there is still no official map of the game area. However, that did not stop fans from creating their own map based on clues.

This is how they decide which landmarks will be included in the map. The team determines which locations are likely to appear in the game. Based on the areas shown so far, images, and the map snippets, the team believes they have gained a very good insight into how Bethesda approaches incorporating key locations into the map. It’s all just speculation. Of course, it is unclear to what extent this fan map corresponds to the map that Bethesda is developing. Bethesda wants Westworld for mobile to be removed from the market immediately
Westworld is a copy of Fallout Shelter in terms of coding and game design: Fallout Shelter takes place in the Fallout universe. Players are a Vault Overseer, responsible for expanding the bunker facility and managing the growing population. It is crucial to build a functioning infrastructure, fend off disruptions and attacks on the bunker facility, and complete missions. The game design, art style, animations, gameplay, and other features are nearly identical to the Westworld game.
Even the same bug in Westworld as in Fallout Shelter: Furthermore, Bethesda’s lawsuit states that the same copyrighted code from Fallout Shelter was used for Westworld. This is what the skins for weapons and armor look like: The Khitan weapons and armor strongly resemble the earlier armors of the Chinese Empire or the Mongols. The weapons are intricately decorated with dragons and feature many flourishes and golden embellishments.
The Khitan armors have a certain resemblance to the armors worn by the statues of the Terracotta Army. In standard version, they are reddish and made of plates that overlap protectively.
This is what the Khitan building parts look like: The buildings and objects of the Khitan DLC in Conan Exiles are also oriented towards the architectural style of early China. The building parts look like wooden facades with decorations, and the banners carry characters that resemble Chinese symbols, while the jars remind one of vases.
The building parts fulfill the same function as other Tier 3 parts. The fences are unclimbable and provide appropriate protection. So you can immediately start building your Chinese castle without any disadvantages!
You do not need the DLC for the armor: To enjoy the armors, weapons, and building parts, you actually do not need the DLC yourself. It is enough if you know someone who has purchased “The Imperial East Pack”. Just ask them politely and gather the materials, then a friend can craft the items for you. You can also use them without the DLC.
Community feedback: “Do it right first before making something new and pretty”
Community divided over the 1st DLC of Conan Exiles: Many fans are excited about the new content in Conan Exiles. The attention to detail gives the game more depth and allows players to better customize their characters to their wishes.
However, some voices are more critical – the developers should first address the elimination of bugs. The fears that Conan Exiles will become the new ARK seem unfounded: The developers are working in multiple teams.
