To Fortnite: Battle Royale, you can now complete the challenges for Week 2. Here you can learn what you need to do in the new weekly tasks and find additional guides for treasure hunting and special tasks.
The tasks for Week 2 of Season 5 are here: The previous leaks about the new tasks have proven to be true. Now we can finally get to work and complete the challenges for Week 2 of Season 5.
All Challenges for Week 2 in Season 5
Everything you still need to do: We have researched the current weekly challenges from Week 2 of Season 5 for you and compiled them in a table. The first three tasks can be completed by anyone. A Battle Pass is required for the challenges in the second table.

How to complete the challenges from Week 2 – Season 5
Here you can learn how to complete the new challenges optimally. For some challenges, we have even linked extensive guides.
Challenge 1 – Inflict damage to opponents with assault rifles
All easy! Assault rifles are common and very powerful. Inflicting 1,000 points of damage should really be no problem.
Challenge 2 – Search ammo boxes in a single match
Also simple: You can find plenty of ammo boxes. You’ll only find seven in a game if you hold out longer. So ideally, go hunting in remote areas and use a rift to quickly get back to the action when the storm comes.
Challenge 3 – Eliminate opponents at Paradise Palms (hard)
Happy hunting! The new area Paradise Palms in the southeast is likely to be well-visited. So act vigorously and preferably shoot with an assault rifle or a sniper rifle. Then you’ll complete this task quickly.
Challenge 4 – Search chests at Loot Lake (Battle Pass only)
08-15 task, but annoying: Unfortunately, Loot Lake isn’t very fruitful. It might take a while until you find the seven required boxes.
Challenge 5 – Throw baskets at various locations (Battle Pass only)
Pack up the toy: For this task, you need a basketball toy emote from the 5th Battle Pass. With that, you’ll throw the baskets. You can find out where to find the basketball hoops here in our guide.
Challenge 6 – Search between an oasis, a rock arch, and dinosaurs (Battle Pass only)
Treasure hunt as usual: You can also find this treasure in Paradise Palms, so be careful not to be found by kill-hungry John Wicks (or Omegas). We will show you where exactly to find it in a separate guide for the treasure’s location between the oasis and the dinos.
Challenge 7 – Eliminate opponents with a sniper rifle (Battle Pass only)
The typical kill job: This time, sniper rifles are up next. Fortunately, the semi-automatic sniper rifle was recently buffed.
Pro tip: If you’re not good at shooting with the sniper rifle, then play in a team mode and finish off a downed enemy with the sniper. That counts too.
