A leak about Red Dead Redemption 2 costs a gaming site more than one million euros. The leak revealed details about Red Dead Online back in February: the multiplayer mode is expected to receive housing and a battle royale.
Gaming site publishes apology: The site “Trusted Reviews” has issued an apology to Take-Two.
It states:
“On February 6, we published an article that was based on confidential, proprietary information. We should have treated this information as confidential and not published it.
We apologize unreservedly to Take-Two Games and have taken steps to ensure this does not happen again.
We have also agreed to donate one million pounds to a charity of Take-Two Games’ choosing.”
One million pounds is 1.134 million euros.
This is what Take-Two says: Take-Two states to Variety that it takes security issues seriously and takes legal action against anyone who leaks confidential information.
The money will be donated to these three organizations:
The American Indian College Fund – the organization helps American Indians finance their education with scholarships
The American Prairie Reserve – a kind of huge nature reserve is to be established in north Montana that preserves the natural landscape
and the First Nations Development Institute – the institute helps American Indians with projects and promotes them
Take-Two is the publisher behind Red Dead Redemption 2.
This was in the leak: We reported on the article at the time. It contained some screenshots and early reports about “Red Dead Online,” the multiplayer online version of Red Dead Redemption 2.
There, players are expected to be able to freely explore the open world. There will also likely be housing – further findings confirm this now.
Whether all of this will actually go live and all parts of the leak will prove true will be seen in November when Red Dead Online launches in beta. The leak was, at least, expensive.
Despite initial problems, many players have been able to play the beta of Fallout 76 for PC and PS4. Some players noticed a bug that could easily be considered an exploit.
Higher framerate makes you faster: Some testers have noticed that they move faster in Fallout 76 when playing with higher FPS. There are even ways to force this. So far, it seems to work only on PC.
How the “speed hack” works in Fallout 76
Physics tied to framerate: The reason for this “bug” is that Bethesda has tied the entire physics of the game to the framerate. Simplified, it means that for those with more FPS, everything in the world happens faster.
The same technique was previously used in single-player games like Fallout 4 or The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Players probably figured it out so quickly because of this circumstance.
In single-player, this is not a problem as it does not disturb anyone. However, in a multiplayer game like Fallout 76, this leads to unfair advantages between players and could be treated as an exploit, potentially even leading to a ban.

Look at the ground to go faster:As reported by PCGamer, you can easily achieve higher FPS on PC by disabling “Vertical Sync”. However, this option, as well as the field of view setting, are not available in Fallout 76.
Instead, players would have to edit an .ini file and change some values in several lines. Specifically, the line “iPresentInterval” under [Display] in the Fallout76Prefs.ini file must be changed or added to “iPresentInterval=0”.
The beta is indeed to find such bugs, but we would still advise against tinkering with the game files. It is easier to simply load less on your PC. This can be easily done by looking at the ground while moving.

The bug remains for the entire beta: The bug was already mentioned in the official forums after the first day of the beta for PC and PS4. The US site Polygon subsequently contacted Bethesda.
The developers’ response is that they are aware of the bug. However, they will not fix it until the game is released on November 14. For the remaining beta phases, you will therefore still be able to move faster. After some issues at launch, the next beta phase will be extended on November 1 even further.

In Destiny 2 you have the opportunity to earn titles for your Guardians and proudly display them. In this guide, we explain how you can earn the Cursebreaker title. This title is meant only for the hardest Destiny 2 enthusiasts or for people with a certain self-hate.
With the release of the Forsaken expansion titles entered Destiny 2. The titles come in the form of a special text overlay that appears ingame next to the player’s name and is visible to all other Guardians.
Titles are intended to showcase extensive achievements and accomplishments of the players that they have accomplished in certain areas of the game.
How to become the Cursebreaker in Destiny 2
Playing for this title requires a tremendous amount of work, effort, and time. You will have to work through a wide range of tasks. This includes virtually everything that the Dreaming City has to offer.
What distinguishes the Cursebreaker title? This title is linked to the Seal of the Dreaming City . Most of the requirements can be viewed through the corresponding seal in the Triumph tab of the game menu.

You need to unlock 11 different achievements. These consist of several tasks. Four of them are displayed as secret until you have completed them.
The following tasks must be mastered for the Cursebreaker title:
Complete the entire plaque “Locations: Dreaming City” in the collections. For this, you need to collect all specific armor pieces and weapons as well as the emblem, shader, ghost shell, ship, and sparrow that are available in the Dreaming City with one of the three Guardian classes. Raid gear is excluded.
Complete the missions Broken Courier, The Oracle Machine, and Dark Fortress. The missions rotate in the offerings from Petra Venj, the NPC of the Dreaming City.
Defeat the Source Plague at the Blind Source in the Dreaming City. For this, you need to trigger the heroic version of the event. In total, there are three plague bosses: Cragur, Sikariis, and Inomina. They rotate weekly. Each must be defeated once.
Visit the Queen’s Court. During the third cycle week, Guardians can complete a bounty from Petra that allows them an audience in the Queen’s Court.
Collect a complete set of the Dreaming Dawn armor with one class. This step is also required for the plaque “Locations: Dreaming City”.
These are the secret tasks for the Cursebreaker title:
The previous steps are all self-explanatory. However, the following four tasks will be displayed as secret until you have successfully mastered them. All four are, however, mandatory requirements for unlocking the Cursebreaker title.
Successfully complete the Broken Throne, a type of mini-raid for three players.
Earn the Wishender. This exotic bow is tied to the mission “The Broken Throne” which is only available in the third week of the Curse Cycle.
Destroy all 40 corrupted eggs in the Dreaming City. All locations of the Corrupted Eggs as well as further important information can be found in our Guide for the Exotic Sparrow Echoes of the Herald. You will need the Wishender bow for this.
Collect all 16 Ahamkara bones in the Dreaming City. These bones are scattered across the city and provide additional lore snippets for the discoverers.

How to equip the Cursebreaker title: Once you have unlocked all necessary Triumphs, you can activate the Seal of the Dreaming City in the menu. Then you can equip the Cursebreaker title. The title will then appear in the character menu and is visible to all other Guardians ingame under the respective player’s name.

Once again, the Hallow’s End is coming to an end in World of Warcraft – and once again, the frustration at the end is great.
The Hallow’s End was my first real cool “holiday event” in World of Warcraft as a newbie. I believe there was already the Lunar Festival before, but it never sparked the fascination in me as the Hallow’s End did during Halloween.
Traveling through the world, collecting candies, riding around on the cool broom you could spontaneously hop on – that was always cool.
The Fascination of the Headless Horseman
I was really fascinated back then in Brill. I was traveling on my undead warlock when suddenly it roared through my headphones:
“Prepare yourselves, the bells have tolled! Shelter your weak, your young and your old! Each of you shall pay the final sum. Cry for mercy, the reckoning has come!”
When Brill was ablaze and you had to coordinate with other players to throw water buckets to extinguish the flames, it was one of my best moments. It was spontaneous, without having to search for a group – everyone just pulled together and extinguished the fire that kept trying to spread.
There was also the rhyming, headless horseman, who, floating above us, laughed and threw out his phrases.
“The town still burns, a cleansing fire. Time is short, I’ll soon retire!”
When the fire was finally defeated, there was another rhyme:
“My flames have died, not left a spark. I will send you myself to the lifeless dark.”
All of that I found so incredibly cool, so perfectly fitting for a Halloween event in World of Warcraft, which did not remind me “too much” of the real world and at the same time seemed creepy with the backstory of the headless horseman.
I was very excited when I found out that you could even fight the horseman. Back then, the guy at the monastery was still a really tough boss, where you could easily die because his abilities dealt real damage.
When I then found out that you could get his awesome, burning horse as a mount, I was on fire like Brill just hours before.
But it has not been meant to be until today. Because the drop rate for the mount is incredibly low. Every time the loot bag that you receive once a day per character mocks me with a damned blood elf mask. Thanks, Mr. Blizzard.
How Joy Became Frustration
I have no idea how many times I have defeated the headless horseman already. Roughly estimating, I’m definitely nearing 1000 kills of the horseman, maybe a few more or less.
I only know that every year before Hallow’s End, I desperately try to get as many characters to max level to increase my chance for the mount.
By now, I hate the horseman so much. The mount is not even beautiful after all these years; it is pixelated and significantly uglier than many of the new mounts. But it’s about principle. I just want to have it after all this time.
I hate you, headless horseman. I hate you so deeply. You were the coolest event in World of Warcraft for me. Why haven’t you finally given me your mount?
Next year, I will get your mount even if I have to level up ten more twinks to max level. Guaranteed.

Frigid but easy: To complete this challenge, you simply need to place 3 Ice Traps on the battlefield. This doesn’t even have to happen in a single match. So the task should be easy to complete.
Challenge 2 – Search for a chest at different named locations (0/7)
Multiple Locations: For this task, you should visit different places in sequence and open chests there. So it shouldn’t be a big challenge for you.
Challenge 3 – Eliminate 3 opponents with the shotgun
Get the shotgun: With a shotgun, you need to eliminate 3 opponents. The weapon is particularly effective at close range. So reduce the distance to your opponent to take him out.
Challenge 4 – Land at Shifty Shafts (Battle Pass only)
Aim and Land: For this task, you simply need to land at different locations shown in the challenge.
Challenge 5 – Deal damage to opponents with pickaxes (Battle Pass only)

With the announcement of Adventure Sync, the great guessing in Pokémon GO began. We show you what we know so far about the feature, distances, and rewards.
What is Adventure Sync? Adventure Sync is the new fitness feature that Niantic announced a few days ago. It counts the steps and kilometers a player takes and facilitates the hatching of eggs. This works even when Pokémon GO is not open.
Update: Since the evening of November 1, 2018, Adventure Sync has been active. For now, only for trainers who have reached level 30. The feature will be gradually distributed to other trainers.

Adventure Sync: Distances and Rewards
Adventure Sync is designed to encourage players to move. Therefore, it is only logical that players receive rewards for certain distances they cover. There are three different kilometer goals that can be achieved weekly: 5 km, 25 km, and 50 km per week.
50 km is the maximum: Players who run more than 50 km per week probably won’t receive any additional bonus. It seems that 50 km per week is the maximum.
Only walking counts: It is important that players walk. Niantic has already confirmed that Adventure Sync is designed for slow movement. Biking and jogging are excluded from the feature.
This is how much you need to walk daily:
To reach the weekly goal of 50 km, you must cover over 7 km per day
To reach the goal of 25 km, you still need to walk over 3.5 km per day
For the weekly goal of 5 km, you need to cover a daily distance of 0.7 km
Are other fitness gadgets compatible? This is still unclear. It has not been confirmed whether gadgets like “FitToFit” are compatible. We will have to wait and see what Niantic plans for such gadgets.

You need the Wishender: The first step on the way to the new Sparrow in the cool Persecuted look involves the Wishender. This exotic bow is tied to the mission “The Shattered Throne,” which is only available during the third week of the Curse Cycle.
Now search for the eggs and destroy them: Only after you have obtained the Wishender can you move on to the next step. Because only this exotic bow can destroy the corrupted eggs. In total, 40 of them are spread out in the Dreaming City.

What you need to watch out for: But be careful! Currently, there is a bug that makes the quest more difficult. Right now, you must destroy all eggs with one character. If you break even one egg with another character, you temporarily lock yourself out of the chance for this Sparrow.
Because the eggs are counted account-wide. So if you smash one, it will no longer be shown to your other characters, and you cannot complete the quest. Bungie is aware of the problem and is already working on a fix.

What has been discovered? According to RockstarIntel, wagons and coaches have been found in the game files that are either intended for Red Dead Online or Red Dead Redemption 2. These vehicles could possibly be for both modes.

A new potion in World of Warcraft is causing a stir. Soon, twinks may be able to earn more XP and level up faster.
Every few days, Blizzard releases a new update for the PTR of Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance. Data miners jump right in and sift through the game data for new items, text passages, or animations. This time, they have found an item that makes the hearts of players who level many twinks race: a new XP potion has been discovered!
How strong is the potion? The potion “Draught of the Ten Lands” lasts for one hour and increases the experience points gained by 10% and also increases the character’s stats by 10%. Moreover, the potion lasts beyond death, so you do not lose the effect when you overextend while leveling or when suddenly surprised by the other faction in war mode.
How do you get the potion? How to get the “Draught of the Ten Lands” is still not known. However, since it is only of “green” quality in the game data, many players hope that it will be relatively easy to farm or craft. The Halloween event Fortnitemares ends in just a few days. So if you haven’t completed all the challenges yet, you need to hurry. It’s especially worth logging into Fortnite: Battle Royale on Sunday, as players will experience a live event on that day.

The introduction of microtransactions, the COD Points, in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was not unexpected, but the implementation is now driving numerous fans to the barricades. What is the problem with the COD Points?
For most, it was only a matter of time, now it is official: microtransactions have officially entered Black Ops 4 in the form of Call of Duty Points (COD Points).
Currently, the real money currency is only live on PS4. The Xbox One and PC will join a week later on November 7.
The Call of Duty Points in Black Ops 4 – What You Need to Know
What are COD Points? They are a special in-game currency that can only be purchased with real money in the game’s shop.
The cost of COD Points: Several packages of COD Points are offered. Prices range from €1.99 for 200 points to €99.99 for 13,000 COD Points.
So, 100 points cost about €1 with discounts for larger quantities.
Depending on the edition of Black Ops 4, players receive a certain number of points for free at the start. Owners of the Black Ops Pass also receive an additional 1,000 COD Points.
What can you do with Call of Duty Points?
They can be used to purchase specific content in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.

This is the problem: With the Call-of-Duty Points, it is now possible to buy progress on the Black Market and thus save a lot of time and grind.
You pay 100 COD Points per tier. While you can purchase any tier directly at will, you must still buy all preceding missing tiers.

Symmetra’s Qualifying Matches is the fan project and is fully playable for free in English. As the name suggests, you play as Symmetra and engage in your placement matches for your rank in Overwatch, with the decision of how serious you want to take it being entirely yours.
A dating sim with story and consequences
What is the game about? You have just been inducted into the Overwatch organization as Symmetra and are currently finding your footing. You are to play your first ten ranked matches.
The game is structured like a visual novel, and corresponding to the number of games required, you experience ten days as Symmetra. How seriously you take your games is entirely up to you.
From the start, you have the choice of how much value you place on your ranking. You can decide whether to prepare diligently for the matches or to flirt a bit with your teammates.
Since it is a “dating sim,” you can also date various heroes like Pharah or Sombra, or let yourself be dated. Your decision on whether dates or matches are more important will ultimately determine the rank you receive.
A stand against homophobia: Symmetra’s Qualifying Matches does not take itself too seriously and is also not lore-accurate. Instead, you are allowed all sorts of freedoms, including what orientation Symmetra has.
