The camp in Red Dead Redemption 2 is an important gathering point for you and your gang. We will show you how you can upgrade the camp and what benefits it brings.
At the camp in Red Dead Redemption 2, there are many upgrades you can purchase. They will help you with ammunition, food, and also the Dead Eye system.
We will show you in this overview how the camp works and which upgrades are worthwhile for you.
The Ledger in RDR 2 – Where is it and what can it do?
The ledger is an important part of your camp. That’s where you buy the upgrades.
Where is the ledger? You can find it behind Dutch’s tent. If the ledger is not displayed to you yet, you must first complete a mission for Mr. Strauss. He wants you to collect debts.
Camp upgrades in RDR 2
At your camp by Horseshoe Overlook, you can upgrade seven things:
Medicine
For Strauss’ wagon
Supplies
For Pearson’s wagon
Weapons and ammunition
For Arthur’s wagon
Accommodation
Horse Station
Chicken Coop
Leatherworking Tool
What does upgrading bring? If you upgrade medicine, supplies, or weapons and ammunition, your camp will be stocked with various items. You won’t have to pay for them after you purchase the upgrade. Just go to the corresponding symbol on the minimap, and you can collect items for healing, ammunition, or food.
After that, you only pay for refilling the respective supplies.
Upgrading the accommodation: This is an important category that opens up many new possibilities for you. Because after you upgrade Dutch’s tent, your gang members will be more motivated to contribute a few coins to the fund. The second upgrade then allows you a special travel method. This is how you unlock fast travel in Red Dead Redemption 2.
What does upgrading the horse station bring: If you ever lose sight of your horse, you can call the horse back at the camp. Additionally, you can conveniently bring horses from the stable to you at the upgraded station.
Unlocking the rowboat: As you progress through the main story, at some point, you will unlock the option to buy the rowboat. It costs 450$. So look for a gold bar and you will easily have the price covered. You can find it under the structural upgrades. Here you can find gold bars in Red Dead Redemption 2.
What am I supposed to do with a chicken coop? Friends of the Dead Eye system cannot avoid the chicken coop. The eggs boost Pearson’s stews so much that his stew now also fills the Dead Eye meter.
Upgraded Leather Tool – What does it bring?
If you buy the upgraded leatherworking tool, you will unlock additional features at Pearson. He can then create great bags for tonics, supplies, or valuables for you.
As a result, Pearson can also build cosmetic items like deer skulls at the camp entrance or a puma fur chest for Arthur’s tent.
Aion 2 and Blade & Soul 2 become mobile MMOs. Anyone looking forward to a classic PC MMORPG will likely be disappointed by the announcement of Aion 2 and Blade & Soul 2.
The MMORPG classics Aion and Blade & Soul from Asia finally get successors. But they are not the games that fans had hoped for.
Two long-awaited sequels as Mobile Games
What was announced? Ahead of the Chinese game fair G-Star, NC Soft announced the MMORPGs Aion 2 and Blade & Soul 2. Both titles are mobile MMOs.

What we already know about Aion 2: The big presentation will take place at G-Star. Nevertheless, NC Soft has already revealed some details about the game.
When will there be more information? At G-Star, which takes place from November 15 to 17, we will probably learn more about the two new MMOs. Currently, for example, there is still no information regarding release dates, alpha, or beta.
Mobile MMOs are becoming increasingly important: As seen with Aion 2 and also Blade & Soul 2, there is no way around mobile gaming, at least in South Korea. Especially in Asia, this market is so large and so successful that even the continuation of two popular PC MMOs is now being released for mobile devices.
Even the announcement of Diablo Immortal has shown how important the mobile games market is. The trend is increasingly towards playing on smartphones. And not just for casual games, but also for complex MMOs.
NC Soft announced several other mobile games ahead of G-Star:
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, the new challenges for week 7 in Season 7 have finally been revealed. Learn here how to complete all challenges for week 7 and unlock the new hunting group skin.
Unremarkable tasks: In the week 7 challenges, you won’t have to do much special. You need to chop down trees, eat apples, and land headshots.
Free and paid: Those without a battle pass can only tackle three of the tasks. For the remaining four challenges, the pass is required for 9.50 euros.
Oops, unfortunately this table is no longer available.
Oops, unfortunately this table is no longer available.
Challenge 1 – Search 7 ammo boxes in a single game
Pretty tricky: This task is quite hard. Usually, ammo boxes are quickly looted, and finding seven in one round is not easy. Try to do this task in a mode with better loot chances and land far away from the action; you might find the seven boxes more easily.
Challenge 2 – Deal headshot damage to opponents
Easier than it seems: You can often land headshots, especially in close combat. SMGs and shotguns are particularly well-suited for this. Just aim a bit higher and shoot away.
Challenge 3 – Phase 1: Deal damage to opponents in a single match (Hard)
A job for real killers: Ideally, you should do this task in a team mode and focus on downed opponents. This way, you should reach the required 300 damage quite well.
Alternatively, you can throw grenades or fire rockets and hope for a lot of explosion damage.
Challenge 4 – Phase 1: Destroy trees (Only Battle Pass)
Free points: Chopping down 50 trees is something anyone can do. Ideally, land in Wailing Woods and get the pickaxe out.
Challenge 5 – Fly through floating rings (Only Battle Pass)
Now for the third time: This task is now the third time in the game and still not a problem. Make sure to collect as many rings as possible at once.
Challenge 6 – Phase 1: Eat 5 apples (hard, only Battle Pass)
Everyone can do it: This task is extremely easy to solve as well. You just have to ensure that you have lost health; otherwise, you cannot eat apples. You can find the locations of apples here.
Challenge 7 – Eliminate opponents in Pleasant Park (hard, only Battle Pass)
Typical kill job: This task is not really hard. Make sure to get all three kills in the same round, and with a bit of luck, you’ll also complete the challenge for 300 damage in a round.
In a short time, the release of Battlefield V for PS4, Xbox One, and PC will happen. However, there are some opportunities to start playing before the official launch of Battlefield 5. Some can already start playing today, November 8. We explain how.
The official release date for Battlefield 5 has been postponed to November 20, 2018. However, depending on the platform, the version of the game, and some additional services, players have the opportunity to jump into the battles earlier.
How you can play Battlefield 5 starting November 9
The earliest date that players can start was actually November 9, 2018.
Surprising change: EA has made an early start and allows Origin Access Premier subscribers to begin today, November 8, in Battlefield 5.
On PS4: Unfortunately, there is no way for PS4 players to start on November 9.
On Xbox One: Fans on Xbox One will be able to play a 10-hour trial version of Battlefield 5 starting November 9, provided they have subscribed to the paid service EA Access.
On PC: On PC, subscribers of the paid game subscription service Origin Access can start as early as November 8. However, there is a difference between Origin Access Basic and Origin Access Premier:
If you have subscribed to Origin Access Basic, you will be able to play a 10-hour trial version of Battlefield 5 starting November 9.
If you are an Origin Access Premier subscriber, you can enjoy the full game starting November 8.
If you have not subscribed to any of the mentioned additional game services, there is still a way to get started even before the official launch.
All owners of the Battlefield 5 Deluxe Edition will be able to start early on November 15 – on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. So if you want to start 5 days earlier, you must opt for the more expensive version of Battlefield 5.
Official release of Battlefield 5 takes place on November 20
The official launch for the latest installment of Battlefield 5 will take place on November 20, 2018.
Everyone who buys the regular version of Battlefield 5 for PS4, Xbox One, or PC will only be able to start on that day. There is no way for them to get into the fight on the 8 maps available at release.
The PvP of Destiny 2 has really improved with Forsaken, says our author Sven. He explains how he learned to love the Crucible again for the first time since Destiny 1 in Season 4.
The PvP in Destiny 2 didn’t have a really good start. The game lost its appeal because Bungie focused too much on achieving a perfect balance.
But with Forsaken, I fell in love with the Crucible again.
The PvP in Destiny 2 was dead for me for a long time
This is why I found the PvP so unappealing until now: For a long time, it was basically irrelevant which weapon you played or which armor piece you equipped in Destiny 2. The abilities also had little influence on the game for a long time. It was different in Destiny 1.
However, the Crucible in Destiny 2 resembled almost any other shooter’s PvP.
Moreover, at a certain point, there was no longer any excitement in diving into Guardian duels. Due to the lack of random rolls, you had everything in your inventory that you wanted after a while.
Many quickly lost interest in regularly competing against other players. I was no different. By January 2018, the Crucible was dead for me.
This is how the DLCs changed the Crucible: With Warmind and the preceding first major sandbox changes, I briefly checked in on the PvP again, but even though I found many adjustments to be right and coherent – the mode couldn’t really captivate me.
I found the idea of restructuring the Crucible into the Glory and Valor playlists quite interesting. I also thought the special reward for the PvP elite – Redrix’ Claymore – was a great idea.
But the system turned out to be immature – at least in my eyes. And this change alone was not enough to keep me consistently engaged. Not yet.
Forsaken rekindled my love for the Crucible
But Bungie has been refining the game for a long time, and with the release of Forsaken, everything changed for me in the PvP in an instant.
This is what I love about the “new” PvP in Destiny 2
The overall package is right: The renewed love is due not only to the changes in PvP itself but rather to the overall package that Forsaken brought with it.
Many small cogs fit together, which ultimately provides me with the best PvP experience I’ve had since Destiny 1.
The loot is important again: The loot, thanks to the return of random rolls, is finally rewarding and interesting again. I’m all about micro-managing my Guardian. I love inspecting every legendary and exotic drop for good and useful perk combinations. Every weapon, every armor piece is exciting to me now.
In combination with the changes to the weapon system and the armor mods as well as weapon mods, I can finally create a loadout that meets my individual expectations and needs, which I can completely change situationally. That alone significantly enhances the PvP experience in my opinion.
Build differences are noticeable: I can finally create multiple builds in the PvP that all play differently and whose specific orientations are actually noticeable.
The choice is now greater than ever; the new classes are really a lot of fun. And also the long-missed heroic moments, where you can single-handedly take down an entire team, I experience more often again.
Finally, long-term motivation again: Furthermore, I now have goals aside from god rolls and the perfect setup that genuinely captivate me long-term and drive me into the Crucible every day.
Because Bungie has made crucial adjustments that give me the feeling that Destiny 2 finally respects and rewards my time spent in the game – even in the Crucible.
I now consider the system regarding how the Glory and Valor rankings work to be well-executed and appropriate in the respective areas of “Competitive” and “Quickplay”.
While you can progress in Quickplay with enough dedication and stamina, in the competitive area you really have to fight hard to make progress.
Especially the always exciting chase for the highest rank in the Glory leaderboard has captured my interest.
What is an unforgettable experience in a team can often be quite frustrating when playing solo, but the competitive playlist is primarily designed for the PvP elite and established, well-coordinated teams. Furthermore, the constant threat of rank demotion is more of an added thrill than a frustration for me.
Rewarding top weapons provide additional motivation: The rewards have also become more attractive with Redrix’ Broadsword, Luna’s Howl, and Not Forgotten, motivating me even during streaks of defeats and point losses.
They are by no means given for free, but there’s something for everyone – for hardcore PvP players and also for players who prefer to stay primarily in Quickplay. And all three weapons are genuinely top-tier and count among the best ones you can hunt in the Crucible.
My personal goals that motivate me every day are currently the weapons Luna’s Howl and Redrix’s Broadsword.
Although I have to work hard for both, both seem achievable and realistic. That’s exactly what I’ve been missing so much – cool items that I can work towards.
In the long run, I want to earn the title Unbroken and the hand cannon Not Forgotten. Even if both currently seem far away – the current PvP provides enough motivation and fun to work towards these goals.
I’m also really looking forward to the return of the Trials of the Nine and I’m curious about how Bungie has improved this special mode for the PvP elite. The loot from the Trials of the Nine should definitely expand my list of goals after the revamp of the mode.
Not everything is perfect: Of course, even with Forsaken, the PvP is far from perfect. There are definitely points of criticism that Bungie should still work on.
For instance, matchmaking often leaves much to be desired, especially in the competitive area – precisely where unequal teams or missing players become particularly noticeable.
Some supers, abilities, and maybe even some weapons could still use a little fine-tuning.
The direction is right: Overall, Bungie has made a huge leap towards hobby, long-term motivation, and fun with Forsaken – even in the Crucible.
Anyone who felt deterred by the PvP in Destiny 2 should at least give the Crucible a chance now and test the Guardian duels. Because in my opinion, the PvP in Destiny 2 is now better than ever before. And in some respects, I even find it better than in Destiny 1.
The Javelin suits in Anthem, known as Javelins, receive different cosmetics. The developers at BioWare are gradually revealing more and more visual customizations. Among them seems to be a collection of N7 skins from Mass Effect.
New cosmetics introduced: On Twitter, producer Mike Gamble showed a special skin for the Interceptor. This is one of the four Javelin suits that you can play in Anthem right after launch. The shown skin is a special one from the Mass Effect universe and is named N7.
Five months ago, the developers showed another N7 skin, which, however, was worn by the Ranger Javelin. From this, we can conclude that a complete N7 collection for all Javelins may be expected.
What the N7 skins mean: N7 is a classification in Mass Effect’s Systems Alliance military. The N stands for a special unit and the 7 is the highest rank one can achieve in this unit.
On November 7th, BioWare celebrates N7 Day with fans, during which the studio presents new fan items in its shop. Similarly, fan artworks related to N7 are also shared. In this context, the producer also shared a picture of the N7 Interceptor on November 7th.
The Interceptor is wearing the N7 skin here
All cosmetics can be earned in Anthem
How to get the N7 skins? We don’t know the details yet. However, BioWare has already confirmed that all cosmetic items can be earned through gameplay. It is still unknown whether they will appear as loot drops or be earned through specific challenges.
Cosmetics can also become colorful: In a recent gameplay stream by the developers, cosmetics for the Javelin Storm were shown. This clearly demonstrated that it can also be colorful and vibrant on the battlefield in Anthem.
The Storm wore a yellow and black checkered cape here:
What cosmetics would you wish for Anthem and what do you think of the N7 collection?
The Korean publisher NCSoft recently presented the line-up of upcoming games. Among them are only mobile games, and half of them revolve around Blade & Soul. However, the long-awaited Project TL was not mentioned.
The new line-up from NCSoft: In a few weeks, the Korean gaming fair G-Star 2018 will start. Therefore, the major publisher NCSoft has now presented its new line-up of upcoming games at the annual NC Media Day.
However, those expecting new titles for PC might be disappointed.
5 new mobile games presented
NCSoft presented five new titles, all designed for mobile devices:
Aion 2
Blade & Soul 2
Blade & Soul M
Blade & Soul S
Lineage 2 M
The information about Aion 2 and Blade & Soul 2 has been covered in this article:
If you still want to play the original Blade & Soul, you can likely catch up in Blade & Soul M soon. This mobile game appears to be a rework of the original for mobile devices. It is said to use the Unreal 4 engine and even have new features:
New combat system

Unlike typical hero collection games, the battles do not take place in dedicated stages, but in the open world.
Lineage 2 M – Part 2 for mobile
After the success of the old Lineage as a mobile version Lineage M, NCSoft now wants to bring the popular second part as a mobile version as well. Lineage 2 M, which should not be confused with Lineage 2 Revolution, aims to offer the largest, continuous open world of all mobile titles. A total of 100 million square meters of open world are to be made available.

Additionally, there will be a large mass PvP system, all 31 Lineage classes, and a new combat system where the terrain will play a role.
What’s missing?
However, among the planned games by NCSoft was one game absent. The also highly anticipated Project TL, the next “real” Lineage game, which is supposed to come for the PC.

The game is supposed to emerge from the ruins of the failed project Lineage Eternal and would be the only PC title that NCSoft is currently working on. The game is actually supposed to release in 2019, but so far there has been no news from NCSoft regarding this.
Not only NCSoft is increasingly focusing on mobile:
YouTube has taken action against videos of Red Dead Redemption 2: Numerous clips depicting a feminist being beaten and dying in countless ways have been removed. One channel has also been temporarily closed.
The world of Red Dead Redemption 2 is populated by numerous NPCs, not all of whom are well received by the community. A feminist in Saint Denis seems to be one of these NPCs, as many players share images or videos of them beating or killing the character. YouTube has now intervened and removed numerous videos featuring the feminist for violating the terms of service.
YouTube removes violent videos
What happened? In Red Dead Redemption 2, there is a feminist in the city of Saint Denis who, typical for the time period of the story, fights for her right to vote. The character has not been very well received in the community.
On Reddit and YouTube, some players shared images and videos of how they beat the character in the game or kill her in various ways. YouTube has now taken action and removed many such videos.
Source: Shirrako
YouTube channel closed: The YouTuber Shirrako even had to worry about his channel amid the removals. He made some videos in which the feminist is killed. For example, he showed how the character is eaten by pigs or alligators, or blown up.
His videos, which primarily rely on shock effects, elicited mostly toxic comments from both sides. From players who found the treatment of the character funny and those who found it offensive.
Shirrako’s channel was subsequently closed. After many players complained about this, including YouTuber KEEMSTAR, even the Global Head of Gaming at YouTube, Ryan Wyatt, commented on the incident. The channel and all his videos, including those about the feminist in RDR 2, were restored and given an age restriction.
One of Shirrako’s videos about the feminist is titled “Red Dead Redemption 2 – Beating up annoying feminist” and had 1.5 million views. A recent video of his is titled “Red Dead Redemption 2 – Deporting A Mexican.”
Videos violate terms of service: YouTube previously justified the intervention by stating that the videos violated the platform’s terms of service. The guidelines prohibit, among other things, unjustified violence, nudity, dangerous and illegal activities, as well as hate speech.
Creative formats like video games can be difficult to judge, but when content crosses the line and is brought to our attention, we take action when necessary.
In international comparison, the internet expansion in Germany is quite poor. But don’t worry, the internet is still expensive.
In 2018, it is hardly possible to live without permanent internet access. Therefore, it has been recognized in Germany for several years that access to the internet is a basic right for all citizens.
Conversely, this would mean that internet access in Germany should be cheap and powerful. However, that is not the case.
A study by the network operator Cable.co.uk lists the costs for a broadband connection in a global comparison. In doing so, no consideration is given to the actual internet performance as long as it counts as “broadband” in the respective country.
What do you pay in Germany? Germany currently ranks 53rd, which is in the middle of the pack. On average, people pay $36.68 (~€32.12) for fast internet.
Perhaps somewhat comforting is that it’s much darker at the lower end of the statistics. In Papua New Guinea, the last of 194 places, people pay a staggering average of $1850.
Experts keep saying that Germany is slowly but surely being downgraded to a “digital developing country.” This is partly due to the fact that the network expansion in Germany is progressing slowly or, in some areas, not at all. This is now clearly reflected in several statistics.
Germany half as fast as the best: In the global comparison, the average internet speed in Germany (2017) ranks 25th with 15.3 Mbps. While that sounds good, it has the negative connotation that two years earlier, it was 3 places better.
By the way, South Korea ranks first here. The average internet connection there is 28.6 Mbps – almost twice as good.
Fiber optic expansion much too slow: The fiber optic expansion is viewed particularly critically. Last year, only 2.3% of all connections in Germany used fiber optic technology. On average, OECD countries are at 23.3%. Germany is thus dragging the statistics down significantly.
It remains to be seen whether the government will finally apply more pressure to promote new technologies. Because if we only make real progress with fiber optic expansion in 10 years, it will likely already be an outdated technology.
Are you satisfied with the costs and availability of the internet in Germany? Or should something urgently change there?
However, to ensure that the story of Warcraft is logical and consistent across multiple games, some events in Warcraft 3 will be changed.
Why does Blizzard want to change the story? Many characters that had only small roles in Warcraft 3 have become significantly more important in the story of World of Warcraft, such as Jaina Proudmoore or Sylvanas Windrunner. To portray these characters according to their importance, their appearances will be somewhat “expanded”. They are expected to have more background story and be presented more effectively.
Discussions are underway regarding “adjustments to the sequences, but also new lines of dialogue.”
To what extent will changes occur? The changes mainly involve expansions and elaborations of familiar scenes. However, there will also be minor corrections if the current lore contradicts what players experienced in Warcraft 3 nearly 20 years ago.
For example, at BlizzCon, the cleansing of Stratholme was showcased. The layout of the city now resembles more closely the dungeon players know from World of Warcraft. The well-known scene where Uther and Jaina turn their backs on Prince Arthas now takes place in a nearly identical setting.

Honoring the source material: However, Blizzard knows that many players have a deep connection to Warcraft 3 and will therefore carefully consider which scenes will be changed or adjusted. They want to honor the source material and not change Warcraft 3 to the point that it becomes something entirely different.
Do you think it is acceptable for Blizzard to later change the lore and representation of Warcraft 3: Reforged? Or should they not alter anything regarding the layout of the maps or the dialogues?
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, a new building has recently been added: a Korean PC Bang. Then, data mining leaks of special challenges emerged. What is it all about?
The new building: With Update 6.22, a new assault rifle was introduced to the game, and various changes were made to the map. Among them was a new building at Paradise Palms called Keyboard King. The structure is modeled after a Korean PC Bang, which is also stated on the sign in Korean characters.
What is a PC Bang? PC Bangs are a phenomenon from South Korea. Since players there could not afford powerful PCs for a long time, special internet cafes were opened where one could play on good machines at a low cost.
Why is a Korean gaming cafe coming to the game? The reason for the new Korean vibe in Fortnite is that the game is set to launch in Korea’s PC Bangs on November 8. A considerable amount of advertising is already being done in Korea, including with Chris “Starlord” Pratt.
Special challenges just for Koreans
What else do Koreans get? The new building is therefore a nod to Korean gaming culture. However, Epic wants to offer the new players even more goodies at launch.
Therefore, there will be a series of unique challenges that you will likely only be able to complete in participating PC Bangs.
According to data miners, the PC Bang challenges are as follows:
Search treasure chests in a participating PC cafe (25)
Build structures in a participating PC cafe (250)
Play matches in a participating PC cafe (5)
Play matches with friends in a participating PC cafe (10)
Reach the top 12 in team mode in a participating PC cafe (10)
Eliminate opponents in a participating PC cafe (20)
Play in ranked matches in a participating PC cafe (75)
As loot, there are experience points, Battle Stars, and even a unique contrail called “Ember”.
Can the challenges only be played in Korea? It seems so, as PC cafes are quite rare here. It sounds like the campaign is a well-crafted PR stunt just for South Korea.
A huge bug causes players to not see four characters from Red Dead Redemption 2 correctly.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, players may not see part of their gang due to a bug. This game-breaking bug has been confirmed by several players.
Where are John, Sadie, Abigail, and Jack?
The camp in Red Dead Redemption 2 is an important place to interact with various gang members. However, according to some Reddit users, there are issues occurring now. The four characters John, Sadie, Abigail, and Jack might be disappearing.
It seems that many players are currently affected by a bug in Red Dead Redemption 2. This occurs when starting Uncle’s mission in chapter 2.
What kind of bug is this? On Reddit, user Lasypanda writes: Huge game-breaking bug. “As soon as you reach the second chapter, you first talk to John, Abigail, Jack, and Sadie. Don’t start with Uncle’s mission first.”
If you do start with Uncle’s mission, John, Sadie, Abigail, and Jack might go missing. You would only see them in scripted missions.
Other users on Reddit confirm the bug. They also do not see the characters in the camp and wonder why they cannot find them.
User Lasypanda also provided a suggested solution:
The solution:
Save your game at the start of the second chapter
Talk to John, Sadie, Abigail, and Jack
Sleep until night. Make sure all characters are still there
Now start any mission. Except the mission with Uncle
Check if the characters are still in the camp
Enjoy the game
The user mentions that he is not sure if this always fixes the issue. It worked for him twice in two attempts.
May return on their own: Some users say that the characters would automatically return in chapter 4. However, they will not be visible until then.
Many players have complained about this issue because the characters are missing in the camp. The developers at Rockstar are currently working on a solution for this problem. On the Q&A Support page, it states:
If you completed the mission ‘Fine Society, Valentine Style’ at the beginning of chapter 2 but had to use the ‘Reload Checkpoint’ function, then Sadie, Jack, John, and Abigail will only appear in the camp when they have missions you need to complete. We are aware of the issue and are currently working on a solution that will be included in an upcoming title update.
An exact date for this patch is not known.
This solution is suggested by Rockstar: While the developers are working on the patch, they share the following workaround. If you have not yet completed the mission “Fine Society, Valentine Style”, you should do so without using a checkpoint. If you fail the mission, you should abort it completely and restart, or load an earlier save and then restart it.
And what if the characters are already missing? If you are already far past the mission and do not want to load an earlier save, you must wait for chapter 4. Then the characters will return.
Have you also encountered this bug in Red Dead Redemption 2? Perhaps you have already wondered why a part of your gang is not visible at all.
This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.
On the weekend of November 9 to 11, all Destiny 2 players who do not own the Forsaken expansion will have the opportunity to play the Gambit mode. To ensure your first time in Gambit is successful, we will help you with the entry.
Everyone who currently owns only the base game or only the Year 1 content of Destiny 2 will soon be able to experience an exclusive feature of the Forsaken expansion – the Gambit mode. But what is Gambit anyway? And what should one keep in mind there?
New to Gambit? Everything you need to know for a smooth start
What is Gambit? Gambit is a new game mode in Destiny 2 that came with the Forsaken expansion. The mode embodies a mix of cooperative PvE battles and PvP elements.
This is how Gambit plays: In this mode, two teams of four compete to see who will summon and defeat the Primeval, that is, the final boss, first. A match consists of three rounds. There is no time limit.
Once the match begins, the teams are teleported to their own, separated area where they must eliminate enemies and collect motes to summon the Primeval.
The map is divided into two halves. Each team plays on an individual gameplay area and initially has nothing to do with the opposing team. However, several times per round, there is an opportunity for a player to invade the enemy’s arena and cause chaos and confusion there. But watch out! The same applies in reverse.
You can learn how the mode works and find more useful details here:
When exactly can you try Gambit? The free weekend starts at 6 PM on November 9 and ends on November 11 at 6 PM.

Nearly two years ago, the director and producer of Final Fantasy XIV, Naoki Yoshida, informed fans that a crossover event with Final Fantasy XV was in the works. Now, there is the first concrete information about the collaboration between the two games.
What happened? For about two years, there was complete silence regarding the crossover between the two major Square Enix games FFXIV and FFXV. Only occasionally did director Yoshida confirm that it was still in progress. According to him, the crossover should encompass more than just a few new costumes for players.
Until now, there had only been rumors and discoveries by data miners in the FFXV client. Now Square Enix has released the first official trailer, featuring a Miqo’te from Final Fantasy XIV entering the world of Eos in Final Fantasy XV. This is the FFXV side of the collaboration.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iy7-AsUzevA
What does this mean for FFXIV players? Director Yoshida stated in a statement that the crossover has been discussed extensively over the last two years. In a live broadcast, he added that he cannot make any statements regarding the FFXIV side of the collaboration yet. However, there is no doubt that it will happen.
The community expects the official announcement with all details to occur at the upcoming Fan Festival in Las Vegas next week. The crossover will start in Final Fantasy XV on December 13, and it is not unlikely that the event in Final Fantasy XIV could begin around the same time.
Wishes and speculations about the event: There are already initial speculations about what the collaboration could look like. After FFXV received the Primals Garuda from FFXIV as a boss fight, it can be assumed that FFXIV will also receive an iconic monster from FFXV. Similar to what happened during the crossover with Monster Hunter: World, when the monster Rathalos came to Eorzea.
Fans on Reddit are also expressing their wishes regarding the rewards for the quest. At the top of the list are:
The outfits of the Kingsglaive, a royal fighting unit that played the main role in the Final Fantasy XV movie
The Regalia car as a mount
The hairstyles of the four main characters from FFXV
The outfit of the popular Dragoon character Aranea
How the crossover will look is likely to be revealed to players next week.
The head of FFXIV has an interesting opinion on MMORPGs:
When does Red Dead Online start? Although there is no set date yet, there is now an approximate time frame for the multiplayer release of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Many Western fans are currently waiting for Rockstar Games to release the online mode of Red Dead Redemption 2. Until now, it was only known that it would be sometime in November 2018.
What’s new? Strauss Zelnick, the CEO of Take-Two, has narrowed down the release period a bit more. The plan remains November, but only in a few weeks.
Red Dead Online Release – When?
During an earnings call, Strauss Zelnick confirmed that Red Dead Online would be released “towards the end of the month.” Unfortunately, that’s not a specific date that fans were hoping for. However, it is now clear that players can enjoy the single-player mode at least for another two, possibly three weeks, before the online mode starts.
Starting first as a beta: Rockstar announced weeks ago that Red Dead Online will start first only as a beta. This is a welcome announcement for fans who experienced the launch of GTA Online. When GTA Online launched, nothing worked at first; the servers were unreliable. Players couldn’t enter the game.
For Red Dead Online, they say right away: There will be issues – The developers are expecting this due to the size of the project.
Does Red Dead Online also offer fun for solo players? The multiplayer of Red Dead Redemption 2 is supposed to offer content for solo players as well as groups.
How can you participate in the beta? Anyone who owns a version of Red Dead Redemption 2 can participate in the multiplayer. It is a free gaming experience.
Patch 8.1 gives leveling in World of Warcraft a turbo boost again. We reveal what will change.
Since Patch 7.3.5, which allows the entire world of World of Warcraft to scale, there has been harsh criticism of the leveling system. Blizzard has drastically increased the time required for individual level-ups while significantly reducing the maximum XP bonuses. The developers assured that it was never their goal to stretch the leveling process and promised improvements. Now it is being delivered.
What has changed? In the latest version of Patch 8.1 Tides of Vengeance on the PTR, the required XP for leveling has been drastically reduced. The biggest change is likely to be experienced by players between levels 40 and 110 – there is a reduction of 25% or more. Here are a few levels as examples, along with the reduction of the necessary XP:
Level 20 to 21: -2.50% required XP
Level 29 to 30: -16.25% required XP
Level 39 to 40: -28.75% required XP
Level 49 to 50: -35% required XP
Level 59 to 60: -40% required XP
Level 69 to 70: -36% required XP
Level 79 to 80: -26% required XP
Level 89 to 90: -25% required XP
Level 99 to 100: -25% required XP
Level 109 to 110: -25% required XP
Between levels 111 and 120, the required XP has hardly been affected – in Kul Tiras and Zandalar, players will level at the previous pace.
What does this mean? In summary, the leveling duration between levels 20 and 120 has been reduced by just over 20%. Anyone considering starting a Twink soon may now have new motivation.
Please note that these figures are still from the PTR and may change again before the release in December.
In Patch 8.1, there are also further improvements for Twinks, such as the easy unlocking of flight paths.
Do you think it’s good that leveling is being accelerated in World of Warcraft? Or was the longer leveling appropriate?

In Fortnite: Battle Royale, pro streamer Ninja still does not have his own skin. However, a rival seems to have an outfit in the game now. This leaves Ninja speechless with indignation.
What’s the deal with Ninja and skins? Streamer Ninja has almost everything: he is swimming in money and has a whole army of followers who watch his Fortnite streams daily.
What the pro still lacks is his own skin in the game. Ninja has wished for this for a long time and thinks he somehow has a right to it; after all, he has showcased Fortnite to more than a billion people and has played it from the very beginning, as Ninja himself claims.
Epic has denied him the dream of his own skin so far. Yet, apparently, a completely different streamer has now received his alter ego in the game.
Who is Summit1g? Summit1G is another streamer who previously also played Fortnite and has now switched to Black Ops 4. The new skin features his colors: orange and black.

Ninja upset: The longer Ninja looked at the skin, the more convinced he became that it was indeed the special Summit1G skin. Ninja then lost his composure when he read the description text of the skin.
It says, “Always first to the Top!”, thus “Always first at the top.” Ninja then exclaimed in a slightly shrill voice, “Seriously?!”
Ninja offended, Epic says nothing
What followed was an offended Ninja, who fell silent for a while and probably had to chew on the whole situation.

Do you want to talk about it? DrLupo slowly realized what he had caused and offered comfort: “Do you want to talk about it?” To which Ninja simply replied, “No!”
Summit1G
This is what Epic says: Epic has stated to an eSports site that the skin is not based on Summit1G. The streamer has not specifically promoted the skin. Perhaps it is merely a skin with a mountaineering theme.
“Summit” simply means peak in English. However, the allusions that Ninja and DrLupo want to discover are not entirely baseless.
What do you think? Is Epic trolling Ninja for his entitlement? Or is it all just a really bizarre coincidence?
Recently, EA banned a FIFA pro for using the homophobic word “Fag” in a stream. He thought it was a normal word because he is from London.
What happened? The FIFA pro and European champion Tassal “Tass” Rushan was recently banned by EA. The reason was his unfortunate choice of words in a live stream of FIFA 19 Ultimate Team, where he was opening card packs.
However, luck was not on his side, as player Matías Vecino appeared multiple times in the packs. This frustrated Tass so much that he misspoke and referred to the card as “fucking fag”. However, “Fag” is mostly used in a homophobic context and prompted EA to ban him.
The pro probably didn’t know how bad the word is
Tass is now indefinitely excluded from all FIFA 19 competitions.
This is what the pro says: Tass has now responded with a video to the events. In it, he explains why he expressed himself that way. He apparently didn’t know that “Fag” has a homophobic meaning and thought it was more akin to harmless curses like “Idiot”.
Apparently, the word is quite common in London, at least according to his perspective.
I believe some of you understand me for that reason. Who is from London? Did you know that the word has such a connotation?
He didn’t think much of it. He repeatedly emphasizes that he would never have used such a word otherwise. He also formally apologized to EA, his team Faze, and his fans.
I am not that kind of person. Now that I have found out what it means, I will never say something like that again.

Despite the strong reaction to Diablo: Immortal, Blizzard announces: We are working on many mobile titles simultaneously.
The announcement of Diablo: Immortal was many things, but not exactly the highlight of BlizzCon for fans. For those who do not care about mobile titles, the following news may not be well received: Blizzard still has “many more” mobile titles in production.
When was this said? During BlizzCon, Blizzard also held a press conference where Allen Adham and Wyatt Cheng answered some questions that not only revolved around the new aspects of BlizzCon but also informed about the future of the company.
What was said? Allen Adham, one of Blizzard’s founders, stated at a press conference:
“Regarding Blizzard’s view on mobile gaming, I can say that many of us have moved away from primarily playing on desktop PCs in recent years and instead have spent many hours on mobile devices. And many of our best developers are currently working on new mobile titles for all our IPs.
Some of them are being developed with external partners, such as Diablo: Immortal, many of them are being developed solely in-house. We will release more information about this in the future.”

Considering that Blizzard is currently working on several Diablo games in parallel, as well as on many mobile titles, the second part of Adham’s response makes sense:
“I can also say that we are currently working on more new products simultaneously than ever before in Blizzard’s history. Our future is bright.”
How many titles are exactly in development is unknown. However, if all IPs are to be covered, there would be at least four (Diablo, Warcraft, Overwatch, StarCraft).
What does this mean for PC players? When the news broke, many PC players were worried that Blizzard had forgotten about them and was now only focusing on the mobile market to end up like “one of many” cash grab developers. However, this seems rather unlikely, as:
At least one PC Diablo is in development
WoW is continuously supplied with new content
Warcraft 3 is being “reforged” for PC
What do you think about this news? Is it good that Blizzard is aggressively pushing into the mobile market? Or should they care more about their PC fans?
