A user hacked Steam and discovered how to generate endless free games. For this, Valve pays him a big reward.
Valve’s Steam is probably the largest video game platform in the world, where thousands of games can be purchased and played. This makes Steam a worthwhile target for hackers looking to profit from it.
The glitch for endless games: Artem Moskowsky experiments a lot with Steam and repeatedly finds errors and glitches. As it became known, he found a bug in August that allowed him to make Steam spit out unlimited keys for all kinds of existing games. He reported this bug directly to Valve and received a reward of a whopping $20,000.
Developer tools were the problem: As Valve explains, Moskowsky exploited a glitch that anyone could access who used the developer tools of Steam. By using “certain parameters,” anyone with access to these tools could make Steam simply spit out endless keys for all available games.
Considering that nowadays individuals can quickly register as “developers” for Steam, the potential for exploitation was gigantic.
No one exploited the bug: Valve has since fixed the bug and completed the investigation. They concluded that no one had exploited this bug so far – except for Moskowsky, who found and then reported it. To test the bug’s viability, he tricked the system and ensured that he received 36,000 keys for Portal 2.
Bug hunter as a job: Moskowsky is now known for occasionally finding bugs on Steam and immediately informing the developer Valve about them. Just in July, he reported a bug that earned him another reward of $25,000.
Would you have been so honest and told Steam about the bug? Or would you have enjoyed a life of free games?
Many Diablo fans were hoping for more from BlizzCon 2018 than just the announcement of Diablo Immortal. One of these fans is particularly affected.
YouTuber in despair: The YouTuber and Diablo specialist Rhykker posted his first new video a few days after BlizzCon 2018. In this video, he talks about his disappointment and concerns about his future, as well as the positives of Diablo Immortal.

The YouTuber is possibly the most well-known Diablo player and his videos are seen as the primary source for questions about Diablo. However, that might soon come to an end.
This is Rhykker’s problem: Rhykker earns his money primarily through Diablo content. He makes videos and streams to make a living:
I am a Diablo fan like many of you. But I am also someone who primarily earns a living with Diablo content. This is my full-time job, YouTube and streaming supported by Patreon income. This is my job, this is how I pay my bills.
The announcement of Diablo Immortal affected him more than most fans. He needs more and better announcements about Diablo to continue his work. He cannot continue as usual with a mobile game.
Fear for the future: In his video about the announcement of Diablo Immortal at BlizzCon 2018, Rhykker now states that he sees his future in danger. With Diablo Immortal, he cannot make the content he wants.
I was so excited to make a hype video right after the announcement of Diablo. But after I saw what the announcement was and how people reacted, I knew it just wouldn’t work anymore.
He is not sure if he can stream a mobile game or even wants to. Because of Diablo Immortal, he is uncertain whether he will still have a job in the future.
However, what troubles him most is that Diablo Immortal is not being released for PC. He has invested a lot of money into his equipment to be able to make money with Diablo on PC, not with mobile games. He does not yet know how and if he will continue.
Diablo Immortal is not that bad: However, Rhykker also points out that Diablo Immortal is not that bad. For a mobile game, it is “better than he could have imagined”.
Diablo Immortal has good ideas on how the skills work. The financial success of the mobile game is also undeniable, what our author Schuhmann agrees with. Especially the story and what happens between Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 interests Rhykker.
The update 0.127.1 for Pokémon GO is currently rolling out. Dataminers found information about the Sinnoh Stone and much more.
The next update for Pokémon GO is slowly being rolled out and will be available in the app stores in the coming days. Dataminers have already searched the new update and found various innovations that could possibly be implemented in the game.
Update 0.127.1 – What has been found
Many innovations: In the update, dataminers found some new features for the game. There is more information about the Sinnoh Stone, Meltan and Melmetal have been found in the code and further exciting things have been discovered.
Meltan and Melmetal
Coinciding with the release of the Let’s GO games on November 16, Meltan and Melmetal have now been found in the update.
PokéDex number known: The PokéDex numbers of both Pokémon are now known. Meltan will have the number 808 and Melmetal the number 809. Evolving costs 400 candies.
Wonder Box for Meltan
The Wonder Box was also found in the update. It is called “.ITEM_INCENSE_BELUGA_BOX” and revolves around the new Pokémon Meltan.
Works like incense: This Wonder Box can be obtained once a week and works like incense when used. However, this special incense only attracts Meltan and no other Pokémon. This way, you can get Meltan, which previously always transformed into Ditto when trying to catch it.
Trading Pokémon to the Let’s GO games
To get a Wonder Box for Meltan, you must trade Pokémon between Pokémon GO and the Let’s GO games. Niantic has now added rules that are important when trading Pokémon.
The following Pokémon are not allowed to be traded:
Pokémon from eggs
Pokémon sitting in gyms
All Pokémon that are not from the Kanto or Alola region
Multiple Pokémon at once
Pokéball Plus
The Pokéball Plus was also found in the update. According to dataminers, the Pokéball Plus works just like the Pokémon GO Plus.
Other designation: The only difference between the Pokéball Plus and the GO Plus are the designations in the code. Dataminers cannot rule out that the Pokéball Plus has other functions than the GO Plus. However, it remains to be seen until the Pokéball Plus is released on November 16 and the update is fully rolled out.
Sinnoh Stone
The new update also contains news about the Sinnoh Stone. This stone is supposed to evolve Pokémon from the first three generations into their forms from the 4th generation. Now a picture of the stone has been found in the code.
There was not much more information about this stone found in the new update. However, the Sinnoh Stone may be related to the November 2018 event, which was also found.
November 2018 Event
In the code of Pokémon GO, there is a list of events. An “November 2018” event has now been added to this list. The events in this list have almost always come with a Pokémon in a special form. This includes, for example, Pikachu in various hat variants.
So far only basic foundations: So far, only basic foundations for this function have been laid. This means that this function will probably still take some time to become available and will not yet be found in the new update.
After several weeks of B.E.T.A. of Fallout 76, the game is now set to release on November 14, 2018. Bethesda has published the times when Fallout 76 will launch on 14.11. .
Fallout 76 starts at midnight: Bethesda posted on Twitter the official times when Fallout 76 launches. The launch of Fallout 76 in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland will occur on Wednesday morning at 0:01 AM.
Update, 13.11. at 13:40: For some reason, the servers on PS4 and PC are already online, likely on Xbox One as well. It is not known if this will remain or if it is just a glitch.
Update, 13.11. at 14:00: Servers are online on all platforms. Enjoy West Virginia! It is not yet known why Bethesda is not adhering to its own server plan.
Fallout 76 launch time: For us in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, the time attributed to Paris applies.
Release of Fallout 76 – Start Time, Staggering and Preload
The servers will be relieved: The launch is almost worldwide at 0:01 AM in their respective time zones (except Pacific Standard Time in Los Angeles). This means that for most countries, the launch will be delayed by several hours.
This should significantly distribute the influx on the servers and prevent issues with logging in and overload.
Does a VPN work? In previous releases of other games, it was sometimes possible to log in via a VPN (Virtual Private Network) and simulate the location of your computer in another country.
The earliest launch time would thus be around 0:01 AM in Australia, which corresponds to 14:01 in Germany on Tuesday afternoon. Whether this will work for Fallout 76 and whether you can play Fallout 76 earlier is still unknown.
Pre-download now available: Players can also start downloading Fallout 76 now to be ready to play at the release at 0:01 AM. Hopefully, there won’t be download issues like in the B.E.T.A.
Bethesda advises that players on PS4 and Xbox One can uninstall the B.E.T.A. PC players can simply download the patch.
Bethesda Launcher required: If you want to download and play Fallout 76 in advance, you need to install the Bethesda Launcher. You can find it on the official Bethesda website.
Are you already hyped for Fallout 76? If you are looking for teammates to explore West Virginia, you will surely find new friends in our Fallout group. Also, visit us on Facebook for more info and news.
Sniper rifles deal devastating damage when you hit your target critically. However, this is not so easy, especially against moving targets. In this guide, we will show you how to improve your aim with your snipers and sniper rifles and thus increase your chances of winning in Fortnite: Battle Royale!
Sniper rifles are hard to master: Those who play with sniper rifles need to consider several things:
Bullets from sniper rifles drop during flight time. The further the target is, the more the bullet drops.
For moving targets, you need to synchronize the bullet’s trajectory with the moving player. This makes hitting them incredibly difficult.
If you don’t set your sensitivity correctly, you’ll definitely have trouble hitting targets.
Unfortunately no longer in the game – Semi-automatic sniper rifle
For these reasons, many players still avoid using sniper rifles. But you should give them a chance. Those who master sniper rifles have a significant advantage in Fortnite: Battle Royale.
What sniper rifles are available? Currently, there are three options to choose from:
How do I reliably hit distant targets with a sniper rifle?
The opponent is too far away, what should I do now? Due to the drop of sniper rifle bullets over range, hitting distant targets is not easy. First, you need to determine how far the target is from you. How should you do that, you ask?
By using the scope of your sniper rifle. This features horizontal lines that can help you estimate the distance to the opponent:
Depending on how many horizontal lines your opponent fills, that is how far away they are from you. The enemy only fills just under two horizontal lines? Then they are 250 meters away from you.
The opponent is crouched in a fortress, I can only see their head, what now? Estimating distance is significantly more difficult when your opponent is buried in a fortress. Use moments when your opponent reveals more of themselves, or estimate the distance based on head size.
You can also take a few shots and check in which direction you need to correct.
Now I know how far the opponent is, how do I hit them? Adjust your crosshairs according to the size of the opponent in your scope. You will always hit an enemy in the open field if you master the following parameters:
0-50 meters – Aim directly at the head, you will always land a critical hit as long as your bullet hits
75 meters – Aim with the first horizontal line at the opponent’s neck
100 meters – Aim with the first horizontal line at the opponent’s head
150 meters – Aim with the second horizontal line at the opponent’s neck
200 meters – Aim with the second horizontal line at the opponent’s head
250 meters – Aim with the third horizontal line at the opponent’s head
The Redditor EEXdhahAA has visually represented the distances:
Warning: There are differences in the flight behavior between the bolt-action sniper rifle and the heavy sniper rifle. A bullet fired from the heavy sniper rifle does not drop as much as one from a bolt-action sniper rifle. You generally do not have to aim as high.
How do I hit moving targets with a sniper rifle in Fortnite: Battle Royale?
The opponent is running away from me, what now? Hitting moving targets is a high art that requires a keen eye. The Redditor EEXdhahAA has also calculated the necessary factors for this case and published a rule of thumb that should help you reliably hit moving targets:
Determine the distance of the opponent to you using your scope. Now you know how high to aim
If the opponent is 50 meters away, aim a body length in front of them
If the opponent is 100 meters away, aim two body lengths in front of them, etc.
The heavy sniper rifle
Note that you need to adjust your scope not only horizontally but also vertically. Even if you now have a rough orientation, you must practice, practice, practice. This is best done in the playground, as the following tip shows!
How do I set my sensitivity to fit me perfectly?
I can’t hit with my sniper rifle, what should I do? If you are struggling to land consistent critical hits, you should check your sensitivity settings.
Because if your sensitivity value when aiming is set too high, your scope will often jerk and you will hit fewer shots.
Whether the settings are perfect for you, you can extensively test in the playground. There, you can find vending machines at the southern edge of Loot Lake that spit out the shooting range among other things.
Get yourself a few of these mobile shooting installations of epic (purple) rarity and build up to the sky before using them.
You are now far from the (including moving) targets and can practice all the lessons that we covered in this article. Pay attention to the following points:
Can you consistently aim for the head? If not, check if you have misestimated the distance to the target
Are you missing because your scope is not set correctly? Go into the settings and adjust the sensitivity up or down until you feel comfortable and can land critical hits consistently
Experiment with the bolt-action and heavy sniper and get a feel for the differences in handling.
The Redditor ImSpeedyGonzalez has specifically captured the point about sensitivity in a small video. If you keep all these points in mind and extensively test in the playground, your gameplay with long-range weapons will improve.
Do you have any further tips for handling sniper rifles? What is your favorite?

The November Iron Banner is here: This Tuesday, November 13, 2018, is the day: Lord Saladin visits the Tower for the last time in Season 4 and puts the strength and skill of the Guardians to the test in the Crucible for a week. Players have the opportunity to continue or finish their hunt for weapons and armor from the Season 4 Iron Banner.
When exactly does it start? And what else should you pay attention to? We have summarized all the important details for you.
What to Expect in the November Iron Banner
The Format: Played in 6vs6.
Start: Tuesday, November 13 at 6:00 PM
End: Tuesday, November 20 at 6:00 PM
Mode: Control
Additional Valor Points: As Bungie recently announced on Twitter, there will be double valor points during the November Iron Banner.
For those who still need to raise or reset their valor rank for the Redrix Claymore, this is a great opportunity to make significant progress.
Participation Requirements: Anyone who owns Destiny 2 can participate in the Iron Banner – regardless of which content they own. The Forsaken expansion is not strictly required. Year 2 rewards with random rolls and compatibility with Year 2 mods are also available to all Guardians.
The Power Level Counts: Since the start of Season 4, power level advantages during the Iron Banner have been reactivated.
This means specifically that Guardians with a higher power level have an advantage over players with a lower power level. They can deal more damage while taking less damage. For this PvP event, you should equip your most powerful gear.
Many players are concerned about Sylvanas’ fate in World of Warcraft. But the developers have great plans for her.
Hardly any fate in World of Warcraft is discussed as intensely as that of Sylvanas Windrunner. For one side of the player base, she is increasingly becoming the “stereotypical villain”, while another part celebrates Sylvanas for finally pushing through her plans. However, as the quests progress and her plans are revealed, concerns are also surfacing.
Will Sylvanas end up as just another Garrosh and become a raid boss?
Sylvanas as a raid boss? In an interview with Eurogamer, Alex Afrasiabi, who wrote a large part of Sylvanas’ storyline, mentioned that she “will not simply go down as a raid boss”. That would be “disparaging” and would not do justice to a character like Sylvanas.
Divided fans were the goal: The developers aimed, according to Afrasiabi, to split the Horde players into “Pro Sylvanas” and “Anti Sylvanas” camps.
“Every time we divide the player base in their support for a character, it feels like we are doing our job. Every time it is one-sided, and it becomes clear ‘this is the right direction’, it is no longer as interesting.”
Is Sylvanas true to her character? It is often discussed that Sylvanas has “changed” or is “straying from her line and becoming insane”. Here too, Afrasiabi counters and explains:
“I have personally been writing Sylvanas since 2006, and this is all quite exactly her character – The Wrath Gate, the Plague, the Forsaken. All of that was under Sylvanas’ command. What we are seeing now is the escalation of Sylvanas’ plans, and we are, obviously, in the middle of it.”
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, top streamer Ninja bitterly complained about players using controllers. He claimed it’s all too OP. In response, a pro gamer using a gamepad answered with harsh words.
Controller-auto-aim type. I’m completely against it, I think it shouldn’t be in the game. If you absolutely want to plug a controller into your PC, then go ahead. But there shouldn’t be aim assist!
Gamepad pro speaks plainly
Ninja is called out: Nick “NICKMERCS” Kolcheff is a professional gamer from the esports organization 100 Thieves. He regularly plays with a controller against PC players in Fortnite esports tournaments.
With a controller, he managed to place 9th in the last big tournament Fall Skirmish. So he’s a professional through and through.
Nickmercs certainly has a completely different opinion than Ninja and has harsh words for his demand for a ban on aim assist:
Anyone with a brain knows that controller players in Fortnite generally have a huge disadvantage. If you really think that we now have an advantage because of aim assist and the latest adjustments to building, then I really don’t know what to say. I don’t understand you guys.

Ninja should compete in tournaments: Later, he directly criticizes Ninja’s professional career so far. Ninja is world-famous as a streamer but rarely competes in major competitions:
I don’t want to insult [Ninja], but he doesn’t play in any of the major tournaments. Maybe he should participate in a few competitions and see for himself that it really isn’t the same thing. When you see what pro PC gamers can do and how fast they are, there’s very little that you, as a controller player, can counter.
Epic has no plans to remove aim assist: Epic likely feels similarly. Because so far, there is no information that aim assist will be removed from the game.
If you want to call yourself a master thief in The Elder Scrolls Online, you can’t miss Kari’s wish list. If you collect all the items listed there, you will unlock the title “Master Thief”. We will show you how to obtain this title.
In The Elder Scrolls Online, some titles are tied to achievements for which you have to work hard. To call yourself a master thief, you will need to put in some effort.
Only the Best Become Master Thieves
Here’s how to unlock the title: You must own the player expansion “The Thieves Guild” to start. Then, you will take your first quest in the DLC and head to the Thieves Den at Hews Bane at the end of this quest.
There, you’ll find a conspicuous book titled “Kari’s Wish List” on a table in the upper area. This list contains several items that Kari desires. You need to steal these items.
The urn can be found in the bank of Abah’s Landing in the area of Hews Bane.
The book is naturally found in the Mages Guild in Marbruk in the area of Greenshadow on a table on the first floor.
The crowned decanter is located on the ground floor of the Skywatch manor. The manor is situated in Skywatch in the area of Auridon.
The sounding harp is located in the Mages Guild in Velynhafen in the area of Malabal Tor. It is on the ground floor.
The hairball spitting drop can also be found in a Mages Guild. Specifically in Knurr’kha in the area of the Harvest.
The burial doll can be found in the Aldmeri Embassy in Elden Root in the area of Grahtwood, on the ground floor to the left under a staircase.
A slobber bowl is on the counter in the tavern in Shieldrock in the Alik’r Desert.
The unpublished ode is located on the ground floor of the Mages Guild in the city of Wayrest in Stormhaven.
The paperweight can be slid into your pocket in the first floor of the tavern in Evermore in the area of Bankorai.
The flammable rug is in the kitchen on the left ground floor of the castle. The castle is located in Daggerfall in the area of Glenumbra.
The love letters can be found on the right in a Fighter’s Guild in a chest. You must go to the Fighter’s Guild in Schornhelm in the area of the Rift.
The cheese advivise is found in the Mages Guild in Windhelm in the area of Eastmarch.
The goblet can be taken in the cellar of the tavern of Kragenmoor, in the area of Stonefalls.
The devotional shovel can be found at the fortress symbol in the middle of the map in Fort Mourning in the area of Shadowfen.
The royal latrine cloth is located on the ground floor of the bank of Gramfeste in Deshaan. It’s best to enter the bank through the back entrance.
The wine sack is the last item to be stolen from Kari’s wish list. It is located on the first floor of the Fighter’s Guild in Riften in the area of the Rift.
You must place the “stolen” items in the same room where Kari’s wish list is located. Once you have all the items together, you may call yourself a master thief.
Getting all the Items is Not Easy
Tips for Successful Stealing: On your way to becoming a true master thief, there are a few rules to keep in mind.
Most items can be stolen without being seen. However, you may have to wait occasionally. Sometimes someone may need to be killed.
If you get caught, immediately travel to the Gold Coast and pay your bounty in the hideout. Then you will not be disturbed when stealing the next object.
You can drink invisibility potions to become invisible long enough to pocket items unobserved. The Nightblade’s invisibility is not sufficient.
Brew Invisibility Potion: To brew a light invisibility potion, you need three different ingredients. You must combine Bluebell, Nirnroot, and Namira’s Rot with a solvent.
Because the long draw times are seen by many fans as one of the biggest weaknesses of bows like Wishender or Trinity Ghoul or of this new weapon class in general.
Most had actually been looking forward to the original functionality of the Oathkeeper gloves if it had indeed been fixed. This would have provided bow enthusiasts with an exotic dream combo. The gloves were actually considered a must-have for all bow lovers – especially for PvP.
Additionally, fans view this action by Bungie as an excuse and admission. It seems they were unable to fix this exotic properly and instead chose the easier route – to completely remove the faulty function and simply change the item description.
Some voices from Reddit: In the respective Reddit thread, there are numerous mocking and disappointed comments about the “revised” perk of the exotic gloves:
User engineeeeer7 says: “This is the least exotic perk I’ve ever seen. Please go back to the drawing board with this.”
Ithuraen states: “One of those perks that you would swap out for something else even on a legendary item.”
Nullspace says: “And meanwhile, Warlocks are getting a chest piece that gives them a permanent Fireball perk on all kinetic weapons…”
Zyphyrnix feels: “… currently no one thinks that the Oathkeeper is worth an exotic slot.”
The Redditor kaladidnt sums up the mood well in his comment: “As someone who staunchly defends Bungie at every opportunity, this annoys me. It’s like: Hey guys, sorry, it doesn’t do what it says. So instead of getting it to work, we’ll just change the description so you don’t expect it to do what we actually said it would.”
And user Bhargo adds: “These guys literally solved the masterpiece core problem with infusion by just renaming it. Are you really that surprised?”
What do you think about this? Much ado about nothing again? Or a typical Bungie move?
Perfect Draw is normally active in a small time window just after fully drawing the bow and gives a small additional bonus damage when firing the arrow during this time. After holding it longer, this buff expires.
This is how fans are reacting: Fans are responding to this announcement from Bungie with disappointment and mockery. Many see the permanently available Perfect Draw as just a small consolation and would much rather have seen a reduction in draw time for the bows.

The armor piece will still provide a minimal reduction in draw time, but this will no longer be referred to as an aspect of the exotic perk.
Instead, the focus of these exotic gloves will now be that bows can be held indefinitely in the drawn state – with the advantage of Perfect Draw even after a prolonged draw time.

Without the gloves, the arrow eventually looses on its own if you do not shoot or relax the bow and set the arrow down.
How is Bungie reacting? The developers were informed of this bug in some Reddit threads by the community. Subsequently, they announced they were looking into it and promised a fix. But as it turns out, there will be no fix for this exotic.
In a Reddit thread, community manager dmg04 explained that they would simply remove the part about faster drawing of bows from the perk description in an upcoming update.

In Destiny 2, an exotic example of Hunter gloves is not functioning as described. Instead of fixing the exotic, Bungie simply wants to forgo the faulty function. Fans are therefore disappointed.
Included were also the Hunter gloves Oathkeeper. However, fans quickly noticed that this armor exotic was not functioning as described. They brought it to Bungie’s attention in numerous posts on Reddit.
Bungie’s reaction to the feedback is now angering many Guardians.
Bungie foregoes a fix and instead changes the description
What is the Oathkeeper? The Oathkeeper is an exotic glove for Hunters that was introduced in the Forsaken expansion.
The special feature of this exotic armor piece is its intrinsic perk Adamantite Brace.
This perk allows the wearer of the gloves to draw bows faster and hold them indefinitely in the drawn state – at least on paper.
What is the problem with this armor exotic? In practice, players quickly found that part of the exotic perk did not behave as described.
After numerous tests and attempts, it became clear: bows cannot be drawn faster even with these gloves, at least not noticeably. The second part of the perk, however, worked flawlessly; bows could be held drawn indefinitely.
And user Bhargo adds: “These guys literally solved the masterpiece core problem with infusion by just renaming it. Are you really that surprised?”
What do you think about this? Much ado about nothing again? Or a typical Bungie move?

Many heroes from Overwatch lead to controversial discussions in the community. With the dispute over Brigitte, a clever fan has now trolled the community quite well.
Even the “#deletebrig” movement has formed, which demands that Brigitte be removed from the game because she is too strong a counter against Tracer and Genji. A player has now trolled this part of the community quite effectively.
Fan trolls with fake post from Jeff Kaplan
“Official” post on reddit and Twitter: The Twitter user Froztaine uploaded a screenshot that shows an official post from Jeff Kaplan in the forum. The post states that after the post of a “brave player” named Cavalry on Twitter, Brigitte will be removed from the game.
The post mentions that the team came across Cavalry’s tweet, in which he urged the team to listen more to the community. With the next patch, where Overwatch is also supposed to be reinstalled, Brigitte would be removed from the game.
The post itself was created by the Reddit user TheFattenedSausage.
Drastic measures: The removal of Brigitte is a response to the complaints of the players. But it goes even further, and the fictional post announces penalties for all Brigitte players:
Players with more than 60% playtime on Brigitte will have their ranked points reset
Players with more than 80% playtime will have their account reset and receive 75% less XP for Season 13
Players with more than 90% will receive a ban and their hardware will be permanently excluded from all Blizzard services
These evidently harsh measures haven’t prevented many community members from initially believing the post.
Fans disappointed by falsehood: Most probably only realized it was a fake upon reading the last sentence of the post:
We sincerely apologize for publishing this pile of dog crap of a hero and will do our best to not be such damn idiots in the future. Kind regards and Cavalry can still kill no one without Nanoblade. [Note from the editor: combination of Genji’s and Ana’s Ultimate]
On Reddit, there were many comments wishing that this was all not a fake. The hatred towards Brigitte seems to run so deep that even such trolls are gladly believed.

A recently surfaced exploit in Fortnite allows players to increase their accuracy to 100% even with the unloved bloom mechanic on PS4 and Xbox One. Epic has not commented on this exploit yet.
What is bloom? The bloom mechanic has existed since the launch of Fortnite: Battle Royale and means that you don’t always hit where you aimed. The bloom mechanic introduces a random factor into every firefight. And that randomness can indeed decide the outcome of a battle.
This is how skilled players can “mitigate” the effects of the bloom mechanic: Most weapons, such as assault rifles, pistols, and submachine guns, have a function alongside the bloom mechanic called “initial precision.” It rewards calm players who can aim accurately.
Greatly benefits from the exploit – heavy assault rifle
When you aim with the weapon and do not move, your weapon is granted the initial precision. It ensures that your first shot hits exactly where you aimed.
The problem: Every subsequent shot fired may miss because the effects of the bloom mechanic take effect.
Bloom mechanic bypassed by exploit: This very moment, the onset of the bloom mechanic after the first shot, has now been eliminated using an exploit. It ensures that players always benefit from the initial precision, regardless of whether it’s the first, third, or fifth shot fired.
Source: Fortnite-Intel
Note: We will not disclose how the exploit works here, as it can greatly trivialize battles on consoles. But it is frighteningly simple to execute.
Exploit with permanent initial precision – this is how the community reacts
The community is in agreement: This exploit creates PC-like conditions on consoles and should be promptly removed by Epic. Weapons with a slow rate of fire and high damage particularly benefit from this exploit.
What does Epic say about this issue? So far, the developer has not commented on this subject. However, the likelihood is high that this exploit will be fixed soon. The effects on gunplay on consoles are too extensive.
As always, we at MeinMMO advise against using this exploit. Even though penalties from Epic are unlikely, we advocate for fair gameplay.
Have you encountered players using this exploit? What do you think about it?

In Pokémon GO, every player wants to catch Shinies. But how likely are Shinies? Here’s the answer.
Every trainer is after Shinies, which are often difficult to catch. The shiny versions of Pokémon are unique to each player. The same Pokémon that is shiny for one player may not be shiny for another player. This makes the search for Shinies all the more challenging.
What are Shinies? Shinies are forms of Pokémon that visually differ from the original. A Magikarp, for example, is golden in its shiny form. The regular Magikarp, on the other hand, is red. Shinies appear only rarely. Many players catch hundreds of Pokémon without encountering a single Shiny.
We show how likely Shinies are and explain the differences in Shiny locations.
The probabilities of Shinies
The experts from TheSilphRoad, together with hundreds of Pokémon players, evaluated their catches to determine the probabilities of Shinies. These are not official values.
Keep in mind that you can encounter Shinies in various situations. You obtain Shinies through:
These Shinies could have been caught on Community Days: Pikachu, Dratini, Bulbasaur, Mareep, Charmander, Larvitar, Squirtle, Eevee, Chikorita, Beldum, Cyndaquil
The probability is: 1:25 Pokémon
Other events: In addition to Community Days, there are also other smaller events, such as the increased appearance of Ponyta and Wooper. Safari Zones or events like the Gengar Day also have higher probabilities of Shinies. However, these vary from event to event.
Only probabilities: The values are just probabilities. It is not guaranteed that you will find a Shiny in the mentioned number. A bit of luck is always involved.
Actually, O’Driscoll is just an annoying guy in Red Dead Redemption 2. But now real people are having problems because of him.
If you play Red Dead Redemption 2 diligently, you have surely had a confrontation with the O’Driscolls or their leader Colm O’Driscoll. Arthur has to deal with him in several feuds, and his behavior makes him one of the most hated characters in Red Dead Redemption 2.
This hate even goes so far that players express their anger about O’Driscoll on Twitter and other social media.
This has now become a problem because on Twitter there is really a person named “Colm O’Driscoll” who has been bombarded with hate messages and even receives death threats since the release of Red Dead Redemption 2.
Real danger or just silliness? In an interview with Eurogamer, the “real” Colm O’Driscoll said he finds the whole thing rather funny, although it is getting annoying. However, he also has concerns:
“A small part of me worries that some people are so emotionally immersed in the game that they lose the perception of what is real and what is not.”
A similar phenomenon also exists with actors – actors are sometimes insulted and scolded in public when they play a villain in a movie or series.
Companies are also attacked: However, Colm O’Driscoll is not the only one being verbally attacked. The company “Driscoll”, which grows strawberries, is also currently getting its share.
Do you also feel this aversion towards O’Driscoll and everyone who shares his name? Or do you find the reactions silly and such conflicts should never spill over to real people?
In Fortnite: Battle Royale have players found a curious hint about the upcoming map changes and possibly Season 7. And that is in the rifts. A castle is said to be visible there.
What is the deal with the rifts? There are still rifts in Fortnite Rifts. They came into the game with Season 5 and teleport you to the sky, where you can then glide again.
What is much more interesting: The rifts seem to provide an important hint about the next map change in Fortnite. If you take a close look at the rifts, the isolated rift in the research bunker under Wailing Woods is particularly suitable for this, you can recognize a castle with a little imagination.
It seems to be some kind of castle with walls and small towers. Also, the whole scenery is somehow “frozen”, as if winter is prevailing there.
Hint about Season 7 and Christmas?
Is the castle coming in Season 7? According to many theories, Season 7 will have Christmas or at least winter as a theme. Therefore, many players believe in a Christmas map that is decorated with ice and snow. The frost tracks on the new skin A.I.M are already a small hint. An icy castle would fit in well there too.
No castle, but a hill with trees? Other players, like YouTuber Postboxpat, do not believe in the castle. For him, the silhouette shown in the rift is more a hill with a certain number of trees on it.

Hint about the next map change? This place, according to Postboxpat, is the location where something big is supposed to happen soon. Because after the cube in the butterfly event has probably finally torn apart, Epic must soon deliver something even more massive.
And at the place that Postboxpat describes in the embedded video, something is supposed to happen soon.
What do you think about this hint? Have you seen it yet and what do you think about it?
In Destiny 2 you have the opportunity to earn titles for your characters. You can wear these proudly and visibly in-game. In this guide, we will show you what you need to do for the Chronicler title.
Titles in Destiny 2: Since the release of the Forsaken expansion, it has been possible to earn titles for your characters and thereby stand out from the mass of Guardians.
The titles come in the form of a special text overlay that appears in-game next to the player’s name and is visible to other Guardians. The titles are meant to visually showcase extensive achievements and accomplishments that one has reached in certain areas of the game.
[toc]
How to Become the Chronicler in Destiny 2
Earning titles is generally time-consuming and involves a significant amount of work and effort. You need to successfully master a wide range of tasks before your Guardian can adorn a title.
What Makes the Chronicler Title Special? This title is tied to the Lore Seal in the Triumphs and revolves around the in-game lore of Destiny 2.
Here you will find more details about the Chronicler title
The requirements for the Chronicler can mostly be viewed through the Lore Seal in the Triumphs tab of the game menu. You need to complete a total of 10 different Lore books, which are made up of several stories.
How to Find and Complete All Lore Books for the Chronicler.
The Book “Uldren Sov”
These lore entries all revolve around the story of the Awoken Prince Uldren Sov. The lore of the Forsaken Prince is told through 20 small drones scattered throughout the game world.
Through these collectibles, one gets an interesting insight into the relationship between Uldren and his sister Mara Sov, the Queen of the Awoken. You also learn in detail how Uldren became the leader of the Scorn Barons.
This book is relatively easy to complete. You obtain the 14 individual stories by playing through the Forsaken expansion’s story and completing the campaign. After that, you have all the necessary lore pieces together, and the lore book is complete.
The Book “The Man They Called Cayde”
The lore entries in this book provide a closer look at Cayde-6, the slain commander of the Hunter Vanguard. You can find the 13 entries randomly by opening chests scattered throughout the world of Destiny 2.
However, you have a higher chance of completing these entries if you play the mission “Ace in the Hole” (Ace in the Hole) as part of the exotic quest for Cayde’s hand cannon The Last Hope or when this mission is active as a heroic story mission in the Vanguard.
Open all the chests you find there. If the mission is available in the Heroic list, you can play it repeatedly until you collect all the entries. While the entries are also found randomly there, the chances are noticeably higher.
The stories for this lore book are obtained randomly by opening chests and completing activities in the Dreaming City. The best sources are heroic public events, Lost Sectors, and the Blind Well. Where exactly you find the chests doesn’t matter – as long as it’s in the area of the Dreaming City.
The following information will help you with this step:
This lore book is among the hardest tasks on the way to becoming the Chronicler. On the one hand, you need to find all 16 Ahamkara bones scattered throughout the Dreaming City. On the other hand, you must destroy all 40 corrupted eggs, which are also hidden in the Dreaming City.
The locations of all Ahamkara bones in the video:
In the following video, Esoterickk guides you to the locations of all 16 bones. However, keep in mind: Only four of them are accessible at any time. The other 12 only appear at certain times.

For this task, you first need the exotic Wishender bow. Only once you have received this bow can you tackle this task. Because only this exotic bow can destroy the corrupted eggs.
In total, 40 corrupted eggs are hidden in the Dreaming City. Destroying all of them may take some time, as some locations like the Ascendant Challenges rotate weekly, and some eggs are therefore only accessible at certain times.
Completing this lore book will likely take the most time. Because an entry (sometimes two due to a bug) can currently only be obtained in the respective third cycle week of the Forsaken Curse – when the curse is at its strongest.
Then Guardians have the opportunity to complete a bounty from Petra that grants them an audience in the Queen’s Court where you must open the chest to find the corresponding entry for the lore book.
Currently, no further ways are known to obtain these stories, but the book is not complete, so there could be additional ways. For now, this means that there is only one entry (2 if the bug strikes) every three weeks.
The Book “The Awakened of the Reef”
The lore about the story of the Awoken of the Reef can be found in small crystal bundles. You need to scan all 23 of them if you want to complete this lore book.
This lore book revolves around the Drifter, the organizer of Gambit. You earn the entries by completing Gambit matches, unlocking Gambit triumphs, and as part of the exotic quest for the hand cannon The Last Hope, which you get through the Gambit mode.
A portion of the 10 stories you get simply through playing the new PvEvP mode. Three are obtained along the way and two after completing the quest for The Last Hope. One lore piece is tied to the Gambit triumph “Particle Thief”, which requires you to collect three particles as an Invader in the enemy arena and return safely.
The Book “Ghost Stories”
You can complete this lore book by finding all 23 Dead Ghosts hidden throughout the world of Destiny 2. These sometimes really exciting stories are about the adventures of numerous ghosts and their Guardians.
The lore entries for this book drop from chests and various activities in the Shattered City – specifically when the weekly flashpoint is active there. A good source is public events and heroic adventures. However, pretty much every activity can yield the needed stories during the flashpoint. You just need time and some luck.
This is what a title looks like in-game
How to Equip the Chronicler Title
Once you have completed all the necessary lore books, you can activate the Lore Seal in the menu. Then you can equip the Chronicler title. The title then appears in the character menu and is visible to all other Guardians in-game under the respective player name.
Anyone who recently wanted to uninstall the PC beta of Fallout 76 must have been shocked. Because currently, the Bethesda launcher refuses to do so. You are required to buy the game first.
The beta of Fallout 76 cannot be uninstalled normally, as long as you haven’t purchased the game yet.
First the beta deletes itself, now it doesn’t want to be deleted
What happened? Several players are reporting on Reddit and in the official forums that they cannot uninstall the beta. Only an error message appears. It states that access is denied. You should log in with an account that has already purchased the game.
Currently, there isn’t even an option to uninstall in the launcher. On PC, Fallout 76 can only be purchased through the Bethesda launcher, a release via Steam is not planned.
At the moment, there seems to be no solution to the problem affecting some players. Some players are already complaining in the Fallout 76 subreddit and Bethesda forum.
Community suggestions: Some suggest uninstalling the game simply through Windows. However, that also doesn’t seem to work, as the Bethesda launcher then opens with the same error message. It’s not clear from the postings whether any external uninstall programs work.
Some hope that the option will be automatically activated on November 14, the release day of Fallout 76. Some are already joking that the beta might self-delete again on the release date of the full version.
According to the business figures for the third quarter, NCSoft games Lineage II, Aion and Guild Wars 2 are seeing a slight upward trend. The mobile segment is also recovering.
NCSoft loses despite slight upward trend: Even though there is a slight recovery for some games, NCSoft’s net revenue dropped by 33 percent in Q3 2018 compared to the previous quarter. Sales and profits have also declined.
The loss of the classic Lineage is particularly hard for NC Soft. This game, along with mobile games, generates the most revenue. The relevant MMOs in this region are primarily AION, Blade & Soul 2, and Guild Wars 2.
PC MMOs on a slight upward trend
AION: In Korea, the MMORPG AION transitioned to a Free2Play model at the beginning of the year. This transition is still noticeably affecting the game. Additionally, there is a growing focus on the early days of the online game.
Update 6.0 introduced changes that make the game feel almost like it did at release. This is apparently appreciated not only by players in Korea but also in the West, which is reflected in the slight increase in numbers compared to Q2.
Blade & Soul: The MMO is in a downward spiral. This is due to the lack of developments in the game. The developers are currently likely focusing on the successor, Blade & Soul 2.
Guild Wars 2: ArenaNet’s MMO has recently received some new content. This includes the raid “Myth Writers’ Venture” and a new PvP arena. This content contributes to the slight increase in Guild Wars numbers in Q3 2018.
The trend is upward: While the trend for mobile games showed a sharp decline since Q3 2017, the market seems to be slowly recovering. The numbers remain extremely high. Therefore, the company continues to focus on this market in the future.

NCSoft is focusing on Mobile MMORPGs: At G-Star NCSoft announced five new games – all mobile games. This indicates that the company sees the future in this market.
Aion 2
Blade & Soul 2
Blade & Soul M
Blade & Soul S
Lineage 2 M
Interestingly, both Aion 2 and Blade & Soul 2 are now only being released as successors to pure PC MMOs for smartphones. Overall, these are very large titles with a substantial fanbase.
Fans have been waiting a long time for AION 2 and Blade & Soul 2. At least in Asia, these successors could do well as mobile games, as the mobile gaming market there is enormous.
Furthermore, we can also look forward to Project TL, of which there have been no news for quite some time.

In Red Dead Redemption 2 you may have experienced thunderstorms. A player now shows in a video how dangerous they are, filming how Arthur Morgan was struck by lightning.
Until now, it was unclear for some players whether Arthur could be struck by lightning during a thunderstorm, or if the lightning only strikes the environment.
A player just had an extreme experience with the electric charge in RDR 2 and flew through the camp afterwards.
Thunderstorms in RDR 2 are extremely dangerous
If you have spent some hours in Red Dead Redemption 2, you know that storms occasionally roll in. In rare cases, even thunderstorms. The loud thunder and bright lightning are striking and draw attention.
Video shows lightning strike: A player named EvoTRiX shared a video on Reddit that shows an extremely unfortunate Arthur. He gets struck by lightning, flies a few meters through the camp, and is dead afterwards.

What are the chances? You first have to be that unlucky. It is unclear how high the probability is of being struck by such lightning in RDR 2. The chance of being struck by lightning in Germany is about 1 in 6 million. The likelihood of dying from it is even lower.
Players are surprised: Many players responded in the Reddit thread and wrote that they appreciate the dynamic weather system. However, they did not expect that lightning could actually strike the player and even kill them. Some joke that it would only hit the bad cowboys in RDR 2.
User Frank_derpanzer writes, “I’m so glad this is possible!”
User LDG192 says in astonishment: “Holy shit! So it IS possible! I will be even more careful when riding during storms.”
Fans celebrate that Rockstar shows so much love for detail in this area, making Red Dead Redemption 2 so special.
How does it work? The device shown is a GPD Win2, basically a “handheld computer.” The portable PC in game console format is quite powerful for its size and can even render games like World of Warcraft.
However, to make the interface look somewhat acceptable (with many small buttons for abilities), he had to use several interface addons. For this, he used the addon “Azerite UI”
Not a permanent solution: However, this solution is not really practical and will probably only work with game content that is not too hectic. Taloc is still the first and therefore the easiest boss of the raid Uldir – even in the mythical mode.
Hectic matters like PvP are probably out of the question with a handheld. Moreover, in raids on medium graphics, you only achieve frame rates between 15 and 25. The spoiled gamer eye might complain about that.
The comments under the video are rather amused. It says:
“Delete this before someone sees it!”
“Don’t give Blizzard such ideas!”
“World of Warcraft: Immortal”
Could you imagine playing World of Warcraft on a mobile device long-term? Or should something like that never become a reality for the masses?
