In Fallout 76 you can find multiple treasure maps. We show you the locations of the forest treasure maps and where their treasures are hidden.
The huge game world of West Virginia holds many hidden treasures for the players of Fallout 76. There are corresponding treasure maps for each area in Appalachia.
In this guide, Mein-MMO shows you the 10 locations of all forest treasures, one of the first areas.

How to get treasure maps
How do you get treasure maps? There are many different ways to obtain treasure maps:
Heavy elite enemies are supposed to occasionally drop them for you
Even ticks and wild ghouls can have treasure maps
Sometimes you can find them in the big chests that you may encounter in the game world
Do I need treasure maps to retrieve the treasures? Yes, you need a suitable map first. Before that, you cannot simply go to point A and get the treasure.
Is the search worth it? With a bit of luck, you will receive valuable loot. Also, your level does not matter. The loot scales with your level, so it can be worthwhile at any time. Especially beginners can find useful equipment here.
At this location, you will find the treasure: The first treasure in the forest is located west of Vault 76. On the map, you will find the museum for one of the legendary creatures in Fallout 76, the Mothman. Not far from there is Point Pleasant.
A bridge leads over the river there, south of the entrance to the area. There you will find the first treasure.
Forest Treasure Map 02
At this location, you will find the treasure: South of Treasure 01, you will find Adams’ Camp. The camp is located in the forest area, right in the Midwest of Appalachia. Directly below starts the Ash Heap area, which is dominated by mining.
South of Adams’ Camp, there is a campsite. Look around the camp at the fire pit. There you will find the loot under a grill.
Forest Treasure Map 03
At this location, you will find the treasure: South of Treasure 02, you will find the third hiding place. By the river lies the AVR Medical Center. West of it is a playground.
You will find the third treasure under a climbing frame.
Forest Treasure Map 04
At this location, you will find the treasure: The fourth hiding place is located northwest of Vault 76. On the map, you should find a Ferris wheel in that direction. Between the Ferris wheel and Vault 76 is the Anchor Farm.
You will find Treasure 04 under a biplane.
Forest Treasure Map 05
At this location, you will find the treasure: Hideout No. 5 is located between Treasure 2 and 3 at the Chaleston operating yard. The yard is located north of the AVR Medical Center and southeast of the power plant that can be seen on the map.
On the western side of the operating yard, you will find a railroad car. Right next to it is the treasure.
Forest Treasure Map 06
At this location, you will find the treasure: The sixth treasure is near the first camp of the Overseer. You can reach this camp directly with the first quest of the main story after you leave Vault 76.
Near the camp, there is a wooden hut on the riverbank. Next to this hut, you will find the treasure.
Forest Treasure Map 07
At this location, you will find the treasure: Southwest of the AVR Medical Center, you will find Widow’s Perch.
There you will find the eighth treasure directly under a large billboard.
Forest Treasure Map 08
At this location, you will find the treasure: East of Vault 76 is the Morgantown operating yard. Not far from it, heading south, you will find the treasure.
It is located on the riverbank, near the red drawbridge.
Forest Treasure Map 09
At this location, you will find the treasure: South of Vault 76, a little further away, is a lake. On its northern shore lies Summersville.
At the southern exit of the town, you will find the ninth treasure. You will find it in a pile of leaves at the corner of the first house before the town sign.
Forest Treasure Map 10
At this location, you will find the treasure: Southwest of Vault 76 is Greg’s Mine Supply.
There you will find the tenth forest treasure on a rock ledge right by the river. Just keep an eye out along the bank.

A recent article from Kotaku, citing anonymous statements from Blizzard employees, reveals that this is likely no dream. Allegedly, there is very active work being done on a “Warcraft Mobile”.
Many “Pokémon GO” fans at Blizzard: A current developer is quoted by Kotaku, stating that there are many mobile gamers among the developers. The reaction within Blizzard to Diablo Immortal would have been quite different from that of the community. Many developers also play Pokémon GO and fight around the arena every day before work – the large Orc statue on the Blizzard campus in Irvine.
From this, the desire to also make a mobile game, roughly in the same direction, naturally emerged.
More single-player elements: The Warcraft mobile game is reportedly already in a playable state. Blizzard developers who tested it believe that it is “more” than Pokémon GO and especially has more single player mechanics. Details on how this looks were not disclosed.
Nevertheless, one should not forget that Blizzard is fundamentally still canceling more games in development than are being released. They recently confirmed this in an interview at BlizzCon.
So before there is an official announcement of the respective game, one should take this information with caution.
Fallout 76 was officially released on November 14, but has already faced criticism since its announcement. Many reviews are overwhelmingly negative. Our author Benedict absolutely cannot understand that.
Where does the hate come from? Bethesda announced Fallout 76 as the first multiplayer Fallout game. Fallout 76 is about the survivors from Vault 76, and all human characters are controlled by players.
Many critiques have already bothered the community before release:
It may be an unpopular opinion, but I like Fallout 76.
I have also enjoyed Fallout before. Dystopian settings are always cool, and Fallout implements them as well as hardly any other game series. That I would be dealing with Fallout 76 was already clear to me when it was announced at E3.
Shortly before the servers were shut down for the first time after the beta, I found that I wanted to keep playing. Fallout 76 captured me quite quickly.
What makes Fallout so fun to play?
After character creation, the game begins in Vault 76 with an introduction on how Fallout actually works. There is the first basic equipment and witty comments from Mr. Handies that still hover around the vault.
The first quest also comes quite early. The overseer’s recordings urge players to follow her path and find out what happened to her. The entire story has persisted through my over 20 hours of gameplay and continues to branch out.
I can hardly get to the main story
Whenever I am on my way to the next checkpoint, I find an interesting location that I want to explore first and where there is more to do.
I had the same “problem” in every previous Fallout as well. I can’t manage to do what I set out to do. But that’s not a bad thing; after all, I want to explore the world and play the game, not just follow a single story.
The world is fantastic
Fallout 76 offers many places where you can easily get lost. Many may complain about the graphics, but I find the level of detail hidden in the world magnificent.
Additionally, the spirit of exploration is rewarded. I have already found several locations that are not just “on the way.” One rewarded me with a wonderfully beautiful view over West Virginia. Another shows the space exploration attempts of two plush bears with a stuffed monkey.
Crafting is fun
More than in any other Fallout before, Fallout 76 has a building and crafting system that is very relevant to the game. Each player can build and even easily move their own camp almost anywhere.
Camps can simply be objects placed in the wilderness or a small house that players can plan and build. There are workshops for groups that can be captured and expanded, providing more resources, including hard-to-find, rare materials.
At several crafting stations, all sorts of items can be crafted with the materials collected. There are stations for:
Weapons
Armor
Chems
Ammunition and explosives
Power Armor
Food
Equipping armor and modifying weapons to fit my playstyle takes a large part of my playtime. I enjoy tinkering and trying to outfit my weapons to be ideal for me.
Group and solo – both are not a problem
I mostly play Fallout 76 alone. This way, I can take the time to explore everything I find. I listen to holotapes or read terminals for more story.
I still have some friends who play less and whom I can help. If they have problems, I check in and help with quests or provide them with my old Power Armors, which are upgrades for them.
But group play is also interesting. In groups, you gain more experience and it is logically easier to tackle tougher enemies than alone. However, I wouldn’t say it comes down to “group or solo.” Fallout 76 simply offers content for both.
Is there also something negative?
Despite all the praise, Fallout 76 is not “the best game ever.” Even in beta, there were numerous bugs, some of which caused serious issues. Technical problems like impossible uninstallation do not make it any better. Especially annoying are features that do not seem fully thought out.
PvP is “just there”: Many players initially had “fear” of PvP. They feared that griefers would ruin their fun. However, Bethesda introduced special mechanics to prevent griefing in Fallout 76. The entire PvP is generally not a cause for panic, as it simply has little impact.
I have had two experiences with PvP so far:
The first time, I hunted a player with a bounty who had apparently annoyed many players. However, too many players argued over his bounty, and he was taken down by several players shortly after.
The second encounter was alone with a high-level wanted person. I wanted to collect his bounty. However, since we were both well-equipped, after about 400 shots of ammunition and 10 Stimpaks on both sides, we nodded friendly to each other and went our separate ways. Killing was simply not possible.
This kind of PvP is not a real part of the world. It happens too rarely and has no real justification for existence. It could have been kept out or solved differently.
Too few options: Missing settings in the game are particularly annoying. On PC, important graphics options like field of view, depth, or an option for ultrawide monitors are missing.
PC gamers suffer significant losses in gameplay quality and sometimes even suffer from nausea and motion sickness. Settings can only be adjusted by changing the .ini files, which could potentially lead to penalties from Bethesda.
All this is unfortunate, but it could still be improved after criticism in the future. After all, Fallout 76 is supposed to be worked on for a while. These are also more like “cosmetic flaws.”
Although it looks nice, it could use a few more options.
I don’t understand the negative voices
As someone who has already invested some hours into the game, I cannot understand where the hate comes from. Fallout 76 is solid, fun, and captivates me like no game in a while.
Justified criticism vs. baseless hate: I understand critics who say that the negative aspects annoy them and that they want to wait until they are fixed. After all, Fallout 76 is a full-price game, and one can certainly set higher standards.
What I completely disagree with are statements about the lack of endgame content, long-term motivation, and the absence of NPCs. Especially the point about NPCs seems like a pretext for unfounded hatred.
I asked several fans who made this argument if they could name NPCs from the predecessors. Very few answers came. The story in the previous parts is also largely conveyed through holotapes and terminals.
Furthermore, only strictly human NPCs are missing in Fallout 76. Robots are still around and distribute quests. And when thinking of Allistair Tenpenny from Fallout 3, one of the few people remembered, many robots are more human than some humans…
You will spend some time with “Rose”.
The endgame is great: I find it hard to understand that people already feared before the game’s release that they would have nothing to do at the end. The first hardcore players have already launched the first atomic bomb. However, this only provided a glimpse into what can come.
Those who actually reach the “endgame” of Fallout 76 can utilize atom bombs to increase difficulty. Insanely tough bosses that require lengthy battles provide ever better loot.
Many players have valid criticism of Fallout 76. I also find small bugs or annoying errors like crashes that make me grind my teeth here and there. But I live with these little evils.
I enjoy playing Fallout 76 in between for small events. When I have time, I engage in quests to explore more of the world. Aside from minor control issues, there’s nothing that bothers me more often. On the contrary, I enjoy finding places where I can truly enjoy the game, take in the surroundings, or test new weapons.
If that all isn’t enough, then feel free to spit at me for my opinion. Because that’s the feeling I have right now whenever I express that I like Fallout 76.

There is a state of emergency among the fans of Final Fantasy XIV. At the Fan Festival in Las Vegas, the new expansion of the MMORPG named Shadowbringers was announced. This addon fulfills many long-held wishes of the players.
This is the situation before the addon: After Patch 4.4, the story of FFXIV took a dark turn, and the future did not look bright. The release of the trailer for the new expansion Shadowbringers further confirmed this.

The Warrior of Light, the player character, fights alongside the NPCs from the story in the final battle against the Garlean Empire, but things do not look good.
Is a time travel plot coming? In the trailer, scenes from earlier expansions and story parts of FF14 are repeatedly shown. Moreover, the voice in the trailer mentions that “the story must be rewritten.”
Level cap in Final Fantasy XIV will be raised from 70 to 80 for all jobs, and the jobs will receive new abilities.
The combat system and old abilities will be adjusted and revised.
The combat resources TP for physical and MP for magical abilities will all be reduced to MP in 5.0.
New areas.
Up to 9 additional dungeons.
Another hardcore raid for eight players. It is said to convey a strong “Final Fantasy” feeling.
An additional 24-man raid.
New Primal bosses as well as beast tribes that worship them. Such as Pixies, Dwarves, and the Nu Mou from FFXII.
Endgame content for gathering and crafting classes. Players will help rebuild the city of Ishgard.
An NPC character from Shadowbringers, carrying a Gunblade on their back.
NPCs as Companions for Dungeons
“Trust-System” for NPCs: The “Trust” system is a special new system in FFXIV: Shadowbringers. Players will be able to build a relationship and gain the trust of well-known and important NPCs from the story of Final Fantasy 14.
These NPCs will then replace group members in dungeons who are normally randomly added to the group.
One of the new areas in Shadowbringers “Rak’Tika Greatwood”
This feature was originally presented as an April Fool’s joke in FFXIV. However, players found great favor in the idea and long requested it to be actually implemented into the game.
New Game+ is coming
“New Game+” for an MMORPG? FF14 will be the first MMORPG ever to receive a “New Game+” mode. Players will be able to play through the old stories from previous expansions, but at their full strength at maximum level.
However, players will have to start from the beginning. It will not be possible to start in the middle of a story. The system spans the main scenario, job quests, and additional side quests.
One of the new areas in Shadowbringers: Amh Araeng
This is also a feature that players have long requested. Especially the content of the Heavensward expansion was exceptionally popular, and players wanted to relive the solo battles within it.
Wandering Between Servers
Another new system allows players to teleport between servers. For this, they must go to the teleporter in their hometown that they first touched. From there, they can hop directly to other “worlds,” meaning servers.
This feature, however, is limited to servers within a data center. This means, for example, that players on Ragnarok can only teleport to other servers from the Chaos data center.
The new job Blue Mage, which appears with Patch 4.5.
This feature will be released before the launch of the Shadowbringers expansion to timely resolve any potential issues and bugs ahead of the launch.
Here, too, players had long requested that the developers implement this option into the game. With the “Crossworld” system, where players from different servers can play together, many new friendships have formed.
However, there was initially no way for these players to meet outside of instances and go exploring. This will change with the World Visit System.
The Trust system and the possible NPCs
Returning to Ishgard
As a special endgame content for the gathering and crafting classes of FF14, the rebuilding of the nation Ishgard has also been introduced. The capital was severely damaged during the war against dragons and must now be rebuilt by the players.
For this special feature, players will have to cooperate to restore certain areas of Ishgard.
Director Yoshida promised fans a reunion with popular NPCs such as Aymeric and even hinted that a new housing area in Ishgard could be coming.
The new outfits of the gatherers and crafters.
The Heavensward expansion and the city of Ishgard are extremely popular in the community. Especially after a snowy housing area in Ishgard has been requested countless times.
Here you will find all known information about the new job Blue Mage:
The Season Pass content for Destiny 2 will go live on December 4 in Destiny 2. But what can we expect in the Black Armory? We analyze the teaser image.
New fodder for the Guardians: The Black Armory will open its doors in time for the weekly reset on December 4, as can now be read on the Blizzard Shop website. But what awaits the Guardians behind the doors of the ominous Armory?
Little is known about the specific contents so far. However, a teaser released simultaneously with the announcement encourages speculation.
What does the teaser reveal about the upcoming expansion? The image obviously shows an Exo holding an unusual weapon. The Exo does not appear to be in the best condition. It looks battered.
Furthermore, the following points stand out:
The symbols in the background and on the Exo’s chest likely symbolize the Black Armory
The Exo is holding a weapon in its hand, whose striking paint job strongly resembles a sword and also looks quite worn
The symbols on the weapon are interesting. They resemble the fish symbols from the Last Wish raid
Apparently there is not just Banshee-44: The omnipresent gunsmith Banshee-44 has been working on the same auto rifle in the Tower for over a year. However, he is not the only gunsmith in the Destiny world.
There is another gunsmith named Gaunt. According to the lore, he is an Exo, a gunsmith himself, and one of the creators of the legendary fusion rifle 77 Wizard from Destiny 1.
Banshee-44 at his favorite activity
The Guardians will have to enter an Armory in the new expansion. What could be more fitting than a new vendor appearing in his original role as a gunsmith?
However, it is unclear why the colleague looks so battered. Perhaps his injuries are related to the weapon he holds in his hands.
Here is where the “sword weapon” was first seen: The monstrous rifle from the teaser appeared in a Bungie ViDoc before the Forsaken launch. We have marked the exact spot in the following video:

What kind of weapon are we seeing? There is intense speculation about it in the forums. While some see the weapon as the first Railgun in Destiny 2, as suggested by the labels on some images in the video footage, others are convinced it is a sniper rifle.
Ominous are also the symbols on the weapon. Since the fish symbol appears in the Last Wish raid, the weapon could be a reward from the new raid wing, about which nothing is known yet.
The likelihood is high that the sword weapon will be of exotic rarity and likely obtainable in a similar way to the exotic fusion rifle 1000 Voices.
Each of these circles represents a forge weapon
If this theory proves to be true, the Black Armory should be closely related to the raid wing. Other theories, however, see the fish as a symbol of a zodiac sign and thus a reincarnation of the forges from the Destiny 2 expansion “Curse of Osiris”.
This means that a weapon can be forged for each zodiac sign.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, the newly introduced dynamite is back in the game after a short absence. Fans of building are not happy about it.
What was wrong with the dynamite? Dynamite was introduced as a new type of grenade along with the new Western mode in Fortnite: Battle Royale. Shortly after, it was removed again due to client crashes.
However, it has been patched back into the game via hotfix, along with a nerf for the turret.
However, the dynamite has the potential to become another item that the community might dislike.
Another Anti-Build Item?
What can the dynamite do? Dynamite flies slightly shorter than a grenade and causes 70 damage to opponents, but 800 to buildings. Additionally, the fuse automatically burns down when activated. You can’t hold dynamite indefinitely.
How does the dynamite work in action? Just before its temporary removal, Ryan “Chap” Chaplo from Team Liquid tested the dynamite and achieved remarkable success with it. He whimsically placed three sticks in a skyscraper in Tilted Towers across three different floors.

Skyscraper gets blown away: The result was more than convincing, as only a few walls were left after the explosion. Chap himself was so surprised by the blast power that he was promptly blown away by a surviving opponent.
Rest in Peace, Building
Towers and dynamite make Fortnite a super noob game: Chap’s tweet with the video of the action is titled “R.I.P. Building, 2017 – 2018”. According to the pro gamer, building in Fortnite is thus permanently dead with this item and already existing anti-build items like the Quad Launcher and Quad Ram.
What is so special about building? Building is considered the holy grail among Fortnite players. Only professionals master this tactic flawlessly and can erect powerful fortresses in seconds. Beginners, on the other hand, have the disadvantage.
With items like dynamite and the turret, however, any noob can easily blow away a pro and shoot them to pieces.
Players already hate the dynamite: As a result, there are sharp words about the dynamite under Chap’s tweet, along with agreement with his assessment. Many players demand that Epic should not nerf dynamite again but rather remove it from the game altogether.
The dynamite hasn’t been in the game for long, so we’ll see whether Chap is overly outraged or if dynamite has truly killed building for good.
A new set photo from the upcoming Monster Hunter film showcases series-typical equipment for the first time. For some fans, this is already a reason for hope.
After several set photos of the Monster Hunter film surfaced, the mood among fans was rather bleak. Some fans were even quite upset.
This is what was shown: These photos revealed almost exclusively soldiers with military equipment known from our world. The plot revolves around the leader of a UN troop being transported through a portal into the world of Monster Hunter.
Fans were very concerned about the photos and the setting, as it did not indicate that this could have anything to do with a Monster Hunter film. However, the first official image has now been released.
The first photo actually points towards Monster Hunter
For a change, the first official image for the film actually resembles the series it is supposed to be about.
This is what can be seen in the new image: For the first time, Artemis (Jovovich) is seen in armor instead of normal soldier attire. Next to her runs a hunter (Tony Jaa), also in full armor. The hunter carries a great sword in his right hand and a bow in his left hand.
The quality is debatable. It is clearly recognizable: the equipment is directly inspired by Monster Hunter: World. The chest guard that Milla wears is a modified design of the Odogaron armor.
A touch of Monster Hunter and fans are already relieved
This is how people react to the photo:On the Facebook page of Constantin Film the photo was published. The comments are primarily positive. Especially Tony Jaa generates enthusiasm.
However, skepticism remains regarding the story, as one comment makes clear: “Tony Jaa is top-notch and a great casting choice in terms of body control. But it doesn’t change the absolutely unnecessary part about parallel worlds and soldiers jumping around in Astera.”
Many expect nothing more than popcorn cinema – and can live with that. One commentator writes: “To be honest: Even if the film might not be good in terms of story, it will probably still be worth seeing, just because of the scenes with Tony Jaa.”
Who is Tony Jaa? Jaa is an actor from Thailand who has perfected nearly all traditional martial arts.
But Tony Jaa alone is not enough to convince all fans. The most important point is, of course, the monsters, and most are still eagerly waiting for these. So far, there has been no material about the creatures. The only certainty is that they will focus on familiar creatures from the game series.
The Monster Hunter film shows a feature that never existed before: However, some are bothered by one detail. Jaa is depicted in the image with both a great sword and a bow. The bow is one of the main weapons in Monster Hunter and typically cannot be combined with other weapons.

New Planets: New, colorful planets await you. Millions of previously lifeless planets are set to come to life. On alien planets, you should be able to find “mysterious artifacts”. These can then be displayed as trophies in the planetary base.
Look for Bones: With the Visions update, you can use your archaeology skills to search for bones of alien life forms on the planets of the galaxy.
New Life Forms: You will encounter new creatures of the stars that have not been discovered yet. A “predatory fauna and deadly flora” await players. This includes carnivorous trap plants. So watch out.
New Global Community Task: The new community research mission allows players to work together towards a common goal. Together, you discover the universe of “Visions” and unlock the Eye-of-the-Korvax helmet along with other elements and components.
Further Improvements: With the Visions update, the developers want to make the universe of No Man’s Sky even more alien and exciting. They enhanced the atmosphere and skies, and there are even rainbows.
Players can salvage remnants of crashed satellites. But they can be detected by the new misguided sentinel drones.
Special Rewards: If you withstand even the worst weather extremes, you will be rewarded with crystal treasures. But these only glow during severe weather.
In Black Ops 4, there is always the option to purchase skins for real money. However, a current offer is causing heated debates among many Black Ops 4 players.
The weapon skin Divine Justice was available to players as a free pre-order bonus if they ordered through the Gamestop retail chain. Now, this skin is available for all players.
Free skin becomes paid
2 skins for €20: For 2,000 Call of Duty points (CP), which is €20, you can purchase the “Fall Firearms” package. The package includes two weapon skins:
The weapon variant of the Maddox, the Carbon Cobra weapon
Especially macabre: The weapon skin Divine Justice was previously available to players as a free pre-order bonus. Individual codes for the weapon skin are being sold on eBay for €5 each. Players are therefore undercutting the publisher Activision’s offer.
“Activision is getting greedier”
Fans are angry: On Reddit, Black Ops players are loudly expressing their opinions about the black market offer. In their opinion, the price of €20 is set too high. It particularly bothers them that they do not receive the skin Divine Justice immediately after purchase but must unlock it through grinding.
A player writes: “You think you hate loot boxes, but as soon as they are gone, you miss them. I would rather unlock content randomly that I can receive for free instead of paying for CP.
Too expensive microtransactions: In the Reddit post, a fundamental discussion is held about whether a AAA game like Black Ops 4 should even have microtransactions. According to players, the prices are similar to those in free-to-play titles, yet publishers still demand the full retail price. The demanded €20 is, after all, 1/3 of the original price of Call of Duty Black Ops 4.
The MMORPG AION is gaining a brand new class. In a trailer, developer NCSoft has already introduced the “Artist”.
The “Artist” from Splatoon? After the announcement of AION 2, AION is now getting a new class. According to Reddit, this will be an “Artist”, which translates roughly to “Künstler” in German. The weapon of the class is art, and the ammunition is color. Accordingly, the gameplay looks very colorful.
Splatoon meets AION
Here’s how the Artist plays: As already seen in the official trailer from NCSoft and now also in the gameplay trailer, the Artist attacks enemies with various colors. It seems to focus primarily on crowd control and mobility. The video reveals some abilities:
Slow down and hold enemies
Trip enemies
Pull enemies together
Quickly change position by disappearing and reappearing

With Patch 6.0, AION has made a fresh start. With “A New Dawn”, the game aims to return to its roots. How this will harmonize with the new class remains to be seen.
What is Splatoon 2? Splatoon 2 is a “kid-friendly shooter” from Nintendo for the Switch. Splatoon 2 is also among our best online multiplayer games for the Nintendo Switch in 2018. In Splatoon 2, you play as color-obsessed “Inklings” and compete in 4v4 battles.
With your weapons, you splash color on the map in Splatoon and paint it in your respective team color. The goal is to cover as much of the map as possible with color. The one who covers more area with paint wins.
The colorful attacks of the Artist from AION, which resemble large splashes of ink, are strongly reminiscent of the gameplay of Splatoon.
What do you think of the new class? Is the color thrower too colorful for AION, or are you looking forward to the gameplay?
The user Mausermaus describes in this experience report how he came to Destiny and what fascinates him about the game.
For many players, the journey through the Destiny universe began in 2014 with Destiny 1 – also for the user Mausermaus. Since then, he has been a proud Guardian, and Destiny has become an inseparable part of his life. And although the title is now several years old and has a successor in the form of Destiny 2, Destiny 1 still fascinates numerous fans. This has prompted Mausermaus to write a love letter to Destiny.
How I came to Destiny
Destiny. I didn’t know what Destiny is or what it was. Sure, it was a shooter according to the information I had. I read several reviews on a major online retailer. I understood nothing of what people were talking about there. No matter.
It was my brother-in-law who told me: “Get Destiny and you won’t want to play anything else”.
I started this game, hoping it would truly be what it claimed to be. A milestone in video game history. I started the demo version because, at the end of 2014, you could play for free up to light level 7.
My first steps
The birth of the Guardian, in my case the Guardianess, was more than just a bit of PlayStation gaming. It was an incredible feeling. From that moment on, I felt completely at home, even though I didn’t have a single kill under my belt.
I ran into this Cosmodrome and took out the first Fallen. Unbelievable! This gameplay! I could have cried because it impressed me so much. I was so blown away that I couldn’t wipe the grin off my face.
The soundtrack took me to the 7th heaven. These fights, packed with epic sound, were a force to be reckoned with. Bam – reached levels 3, 4, 5. You wanted more of this gaming experience.
Shooting down enemy health bars was something entirely new to me, but at the same time, it was something in which I found my balance. No matter how stressful a day was, no matter what troubled me – as soon as I played Destiny, I forgot all my worries and was completely able to relax. Wow, I had never felt like that before.
This first Saturday night with Destiny was a night that has remained in my memory to this day. A Saturday night when I reached light level 7 in the demo version. Great. What now?! Big red market: 45 euros (not available until Monday). PSN Store: 70 euros. Whatever. I had to continue, and I purchased the first Destiny for 70 euros on PSN.
I kept playing and couldn’t stop until I finally crashed into my bed like a young god. Damn, I was a family man. I couldn’t play Destiny all day Sunday. Man, that was tough.
So the journey of my Guardian continued
Monday evening it continued. My first encounter with a Guardian during a patrol. Oh my God, what was that? I couldn’t believe it. I had been used to playing Super Mario on NES, and now I was running into another person (Guardian) in an online world?! That was a moment when I had to call my wife to show her.
I knew she didn’t care at all. But I just wanted to share this moment with someone. It was fascinating and breathtaking for me to embark on a mission with this Guardian. My brother-in-law turned out to be right from that moment on. I simply didn’t want to play anything else. I knew I was a Guardian.
After many hours and many strikes, I finally reached light level 20. So, I was told that the game really begins. And so it was. The wonderful purple gear suddenly came into play. Booaahh. I felt even more powerful and better. My satisfaction was boundless. I was a powerful Guardian ready to face the first raid, the Vault of Glass.
What I am particularly proud of
Raid was a foreign word for me. Blasting everything away with 6 Guardians? Sure, it would be really cool. I had found 5 Guardians with light level 26 to knock on the Vault of Glass. What awaited me there was intergalactically gigantic and absolutely unbeatable.
I felt at home in this world. It pulled me into a vortex. Those jumps deep into the abyss were a feeling that was coupled with endless tension and above all endless freedom. The Templar, the cleansing – what was all that? Oracles? No idea! I thought I just had to clear a bunch of enemies.
I have to say, I was completely overwhelmed and absolutely stressed. I couldn’t control the controller anymore and felt the pressure from the other 5 Guardians that was weighing on me. I was simply totally overwhelmed and at the same time astounded because I realized how bad I actually was. But since I am an ambitious person by nature, I wanted to get a grip on it.
I wanted to reach light level 32 through the raid. Those Ascendant Shards. I needed them for every single step in light level. Atheon, I also defeated you. I didn’t understand anything, but I defeated you. My group of 5 told me about the mechanics through the headset. Didn’t get it at all and yet defeated it. I finished the Vault of Glass with a lot of sweat.
In that moment I was actually a Destiny sweat. I was proud of this first raid experience. To this day, I enjoy Destiny to the fullest and pray that this game lasts for many years to come. I am so grateful for the people who can give me this gaming experience. And even in tough times, I will always stand by Destiny.
My great love – Destiny.

The TOTW 10 (Team of the Week 10) for FUT in FIFA 19 is known. All players in the Team of the Week with Inform cards in overview.
The TOTW release time in FUT 19: As usual, the TDW 10 will be released on Wednesday. Starting from 21.11.2018, the special cards of the TDW players will be available in packs from 19:00.
This is the Team of the Week: Players who excelled in real football with great performances, scored crucial goals, or attracted attention with special actions make it into FIFA 19 “Team of the Week”. These players are rewarded with special cards, including an improved rating.
This is the best TOTW so far? TOTW 10 impresses with many top players: Kane, Salah, Sané, Pjanic, Van Dijk, and Mahrez are just the best players of an extremely strong “Team of the Week”. Therefore, it could be worth taking advantage of the “Black Friday” offers on Friday. The Premier League is especially well represented with many players.
With the special cards, you can earn a lot of money. With smart TOTW trading you can also earn many coins with the standard card.
TOTW 10 – The Team of the Week in overview
Starting XI:
GK: Alisson – FC Liverpool (ENG1) – Brazil
CB: Van Dijk – FC Liverpool (ENG1) – Netherlands
CB: Willi Orban – RB Leipzig (GER1) – Austria
LB: Kolarov – AS Roma (ITA1) – Serbia
RM: Valencia – Manchester United (ENG1) – Colombia
CAM: Wijnaldum – FC Liverpool (ENG1) – Netherlands
CB: Waston – Vancouver Whitecaps (MSL) – Costa Rica
RM: Mateus – Boavista (POR1) – Angola
ST: Seferovic – Benfica (POR1) – Switzerland
ST: Collins – Luton Town (ENG2) – Ireland
RM: Rusnák – Real Salt Lake (MLS) – Slovakia
These are the 3 best Ultimate Team Players of Week 10
Top Player 1: Harry Kane. Harry Kane is a real powerhouse in attack and very difficult to defend. The striker breaks the magical 90 with his Inform card.
How the Kane card will be interesting for you: If you play with a Premier League team, you should try to get this card. Especially with fast wingers, the prominent attacker works well: Few players process crosses from the outside as reliably as Kane.
Top Player 2: Mohamed Salah. One of the most popular players of last season now has his first Inform card of the FIFA 19 season. The winger is fast, excels as a playmaker, and is also very cool in front of goal.
How the Salah card will be interesting for you: Even Salah’s standard card is extremely expensive – the Inform card is certainly not going to be cheap either. But there are hardly any comparably strong players on the right wing in the Premier League. The Egyptian is less suitable for hybrid teams.
Top Player 3: Leroy Sané. Here the wing again, again the Premier League: Sané also excels extremely with his speed, but he is also extremely skillful and quite strong in finishing.
How the Sané card will be interesting for you: Sané is a top choice for the Premier League, but also shines in hybrids with German or Bundesliga players. Especially in the Bundesliga, there are hardly any left wingers who can compete with the Sané card, except for Marco Reus.
Consider buying some of the best packs in the game to pull a TOTW player. Especially the upcoming Black Friday event offers special deals.
TDW Highlights from the Bundesliga Perspective
These Bundesliga players are included:
Willi Orban: The center-back from RB Leipzig made it into the current Team of the Week. His card offers an 82 rating and quite average stats. He is therefore not an alternative to the top defenders.
Tin Jedvaj: The Leverkusen left-back received a rating of 81. Since this position is difficult to fill in the Bundesliga, Jedvaj could be a good alternative.
Rashica: The right winger from Werder Bremen also earned his first TOTW card and brings a pace of 91 to the field.
Fallout 76 actually offers no NPCs that players can interact with. This inspired a fan to become an NPC himself. However, he chose one of the most unpopular characters in the series.
Which NPC is he playing in Fallout 76? The YouTuber RpTheHotrod thought about how he could play Fallout 76 differently. His idea: he now embodies the Minutemen officer Preston Garvey from Fallout 4 in Fallout 76.
Fallout 76: Player Becomes NPC
Who is Preston Garvey? Preston Garvey is one of the more well-known characters from Fallout 4. He is an officer of the Commonwealth Minutemen and one of the player’s possible companions.
Garvey is also one of the most unpopular or annoying characters in the series. He is known for coming to the player at the most inconvenient times to assign him a quest where he has to defend a settlement.
Settlements in Fallout 4 are comparable to the workshops or the C.A.M.P.s from Fallout 76, only larger. They are camps populated with NPCs that the player can build and also defend.
This is how RpTheHotrod becomes Garvey: Fallout 76 offers an extensive character creation system with many options for customizing one’s characters. With the help of this tool, RpTheHotrod created a character that looks like Garvey.
RpTheHotrod also uses voice files from Fallout 4, which he records with his microphone in Fallout 76. This allows him to interact with other players using Preston Garvey’s voice.

Players seem to find it funny: As Preston Garvey, RpTheHotrod now roams Appalachia, distributing “quests” to players by sending them to (non-existent) settlements.
A player in power armor even engages with the roleplay. Although he recognizes Garvey and greets him with an “Oh God…”, he asks somewhat resignedly where the settlement that needs help is.
The idea with Preston Garvey actually came months before the release of Fallout 76. A fan suggested on Reddit to create multiple Garveys and mark other players on the map who “need help”.

In Diablo 3 there will soon be an update that finally adjusts the balance. Players have been waiting for this for a long time. However, it doesn’t come across as well as hoped.
The Diablo team has now announced the new patch 2.6.4 for the PTR. It includes many changes to items and sets for the various classes. This could bring fresh air into the meta and encourage players to try new sets.
However, for some players, these changes are not enough.
Diablo 3 – A Review
What is happening in Diablo 3 right now? For a long time, there has been relatively little happening for existing players. Every few months a new season starts, which brings a wave of players back to the game. There is some criticism that the seasons are becoming less special and simply repeating themselves.
For this purpose, Blizzard provides variety with season themes. For example, more goblins spawn or double the amount of Horadric cubes drop.
Balance patches are rare. In the last seasons, Blizzard completely forwent them, and players eagerly awaited changes.
With buffs and nerfs to individual items, such patches ensure that the meta changes. Players then have a new set for their favorite class that is now stronger. With the higher damage numbers, they are motivated to try different playstyles.
What is new now? Players had to wait a long time for a balance patch. Update 2.6.4 finally brings buffs.
The new patch 2.6.4 – What does it bring?
What simplifies things for players? Blizzard wants to implement changes in patch 2.6.4 that players have long wished for.
All characters will receive 5 additional tabs for the stash – A total of 10
Greater Rift Keystone items will now be stored in the materials tab
Ancient items will be marked by a red beam when they drop
On the minimap, you will now recognize ancient items by a red pentagram
The symbols of ancient items now have a red frame and new background
Changes with portals: Paragon points can no longer be traded while a Greater Nephalem Portal is open.
However, it is now possible to join public games where a Greater Nephalem Portal is already open. If you join later, you will not be able to enter the portal. The difficulty level of the opened portal does not change as a result.
Class Buffs
The numbers for the buffs are all huge but not final yet. For example, the damage of the Barbarian set Raekor (6 pieces) was increased from 2800% to 7000%. The Witch Doctor’s 6-piece bonus from Arachyr was increased from 4500% to 9000%.
In Season 16, players will experience the Season of Grandeur. All Season characters automatically receive the legendary property of the Ring of Royal Grandeur. However, this cannot be stacked with other Grandeur Rings.
Additionally, after completing a Greater Nephalem Portal of level 70 for the first time, you will be guaranteed an ancient legendary item.
This is how the fans react
Players are reacting to the announcement of the new patch with mixed feelings. The frustration from the last BlizzCon is still palpable, where Diablo content was clearly in short supply. There were many comments in the Reddit thread.
Player ImJayJunior writes: “Honestly. Buffing Litany of the Undaunted would have been a better announcement at BlizzCon.”
Eshin242 writes: “Patch 2.6.4 – Still a better announcement for BlizzCon than Immortal.”
Player smuttyjeff writes: “This is just odd”
“Blizzard is practically showing that no one is working on Diablo 3 anymore. There haven’t been any mechanical changes to any sets. Someone just adjusted the strength of the sets,” writes frupic.
A few voices note that this patch is at least better than nothing. This could make more sets fun and bring more variety to the rankings of Season 16.
What do you think of the new patch and the outlook for Season 16?
Leveling in World of Warcraft is being accelerated, and even more so than initially thought. In comparison, even the early days of Legion seem like a joke.
On Reddit, the user Valrysha took the effort to compare the changes in experience points not only with Patch 8.0 and 7.3.5 but also with Patch 7.0, which many considered the “golden age of twinking.”
A quarter less XP needed: The comparison between the necessary XP between Patch 7.0 and Patch 8.1 is particularly interesting. Here too, the difference is enormous. Overall, the necessary XP across all “old” levels (i.e. between 1 and 110) decreases by a whopping 28.62% – in the direct comparison between Patch 7.0 and Patch 8.1. This means the necessary experience points to reach the maximum level are lower than ever before.
These new values are further favored by the scaling of all areas. This ensures that quests are always “at the appropriate level,” thus granting full XP, giving leveling an extra boost.
Why are there these changes? Since Patch 7.3.5, leveling in World of Warcraft feels more sluggish than before. Back then, all areas were adapted to scale with player levels, while simultaneously the required XP per level was drastically increased. This caused significant displeasure among players who have since been reluctant to start new alt characters.
When these changes go live, leveling Twinks through questing in Patch 8.1 should be faster than ever in World of Warcraft. It looks like a good time for everyone who likes to have many characters. You can find Valrysha’s complete table with all the changes in our sources.
The new PvP system introduced with the update “Into the Abyss” in the space MMO EVE Online has found an undisputed champion.
Want to have a round of PvP in the Abyssal Deadspace of EVE Online – the new mode introduced with “Into the Abyss“? Then you should pray not to fly into the path of the “Lord of the Abyss”.
The new PvP mode is controversial
How does the Abyssal Deadspace work? The new PvP mode consists of several parts and differs significantly from the space battles that otherwise take place in the game.
Other players also want this loot, which leads to PvP battles
This is why the mode is controversial: EVE Online is a sandbox. Most players want everything in the game to take place in the open world, including the PvP fights. However, the new mode plays in an instance, which goes against the idea of an open sandbox. Therefore, there has already been some criticism of the Abyssal Deadspace.
One player is the champion: The EVE player BoRn2ReIgN sees things a bit differently than the majority of the community. Because the new PvP mode allows for fair duels in his opinion. While a duel in the open world of the MMO often ends with the loser calling for friends for reinforcement, there is no reinforcement in the Abyssal Deadspace. However, this requires a different approach.
BoRn2ReIgN had to train for a long time to become good enough and have a “perfect” setup to be the best player in the Abyssal Deadspace. Furthermore, he focuses entirely on mods that help him in this mode. So his ship can quickly cost over 30 billion ISK – more than some supercarriers.
In the meantime, he is the undisputed champion in PvP. Even the developers warn against this “monster”. Because he wins fight after fight. In 44 encounters, he has managed to achieve 43 kills. This has earned him the nickname “Lord of the Abyss”. So if you encounter him in PvP, it almost automatically means your death.
This is why being the best is not always good: In EVE Online, the fame of BoRn2ReIgN has also attracted many envious players. Meanwhile, BoRn2ReIgN is also a target for attacks from other players outside the Abyssal Deadspace. Players often lie in wait for him when he just comes out weakened from the PvP arena.
Now BoRn2ReIgN even travels through the high-security areas of space. However, his opponents use ships that cause a lot of damage before the security forces can come to his aid. Fame always has its downsides – even in EVE Online.

For the 6th birthday, the MMO shooter Planetside 2 is getting a new faction of Robo-soldiers. However, they are actually a sort of filler mercenary faction.
What is the new faction about? In a developer live stream, an apparently new faction was revealed. They were cool Robo-soldiers from Nanite Systems. So far, there have been three factions in Planetside 2 fighting over the planet Auraxis. A 4th faction would completely disrupt this balance, wouldn’t it?
4th Faction in Planetside 2 are Mercenaries
What exactly can the 4th faction do? In the stream, the developers quickly explain what the robots are all about. The mechanical warriors are not really an autonomous 4th faction. Rather, they join the faction that is currently the weakest. Whenever you enter a zone, you will be assigned as a Robo-player to the currently disadvantaged group.

What’s so great about helping the underdogs? The big advantage of this needs-based assignment is that you can jump right in. Since you always join the losing faction, you can start playing immediately without any queues.
As a positive side effect, you also reduce the waiting time for other players, as you are not blocking the queues of the other two factions.
Additionally, you will get to experience the war for Auraxis from the other side and can try out equipment from the other faction. And let’s face it, the robots look really cool.
One downside: You must be a premium member in Planetside 2 to play the robots.
When are the robots coming? The new faction still needs some love on the test server. Only after extensive testing will they be available on the live servers.
What do you think of the idea of the “4th faction” and will you play it? Or would you rather stick with your favorites?
Although there are no humans in Fallout 76 except for the players, you can join various factions. Our guide summarizes where to find them and what you need to do.
These NPCs belong to factions that you can also join in Fallout 76. We explain in this guide how to find them.
[toc]
The Responders
The Responders are one of the new factions and can be found early in the game.
Who are the Responders? The faction is a coalition of volunteers. The founding members mainly come from the fire department, police, and medical support staff. During the war, they founded the Responders to help civilians in an organized manner and train them in survival skills.
The Responders ensure that there is a Robotron merchant and resources for those in need at all train stations. However, not much remains of them.
How to find the Responders: This faction is almost unavoidable. If you follow the introductory quests, you will automatically end up in the small town of Flatwoods. In a church, you will find the Responders’ terminal.
To join the Responders, you need to volunteer. For this, you must complete a series of smaller tasks. They are part of the main story of Fallout 76. The associated quests will lead you to other locations in Appalachia.
The Firebugs
Essentially, the Firebugs are a special unit of the Responders.
Who are the Firebugs? This subgroup of the Responders mainly deals with the Scorched. These mutated humans roam all over Appalachia. Firebugs underwent special training during their education.
How to find the Firebugs: Their headquarters is located in the Charleston Fire Department building. There you can begin the training for recruitment.
The Raiders
The Raiders are present in all Fallout installments and are one of the factions that cause chaos throughout the wasteland.
Who are the Raiders? They are usually disorganized groups of bandits. They settle in all sorts of hideouts and raid other survivors. In Appalachia, there were five different gangs. However, like the Responders, the Raiders in West Virginia did not survive.
How to find the Raiders: Head to “Top of the World” southeast of Vault 76. There, even a quest awaits you.
The leader of the Raiders, Rose, is a Miss Nanny bot and sends you out, among other things, to build a signal booster for the Raiders. You also need to hunt a Yao Guai in a specific way.
The Brotherhood of Steel
The Brotherhood of Steel is one of the most popular factions in the Fallout universe. Somehow, they made their way to West Virginia as well.
Who is the Brotherhood of Steel? This faction is a kind of advanced knight order in the Fallout universe. In Appalachia, it was led by a former US Army member, Elizabeth Taggerdy. She was chosen by Roger Maxson himself. Maxson is considered the founder of the Brotherhood of Steel.
The branches of the Brotherhood have spread throughout the USA as they could communicate through a satellite. Most members of the Brotherhood come from the military, thus they possess the appropriate technology.
How to find the Brotherhood of Steel: In Appalachia, there are outposts like Camp Venture and the Grafton Dam, where you can complete tasks for the Brotherhood.
However, their headquarters is located at Fort Defiance in Cranberry Bog. That is the southeastern part of Appalachia. There, a former institution awaits to be explored by you.
But be careful, the monsters in the area are a bit too strong for newcomers. You will encounter a Wendigo.
The Enclave
The Enclave has been a staple of the games since Fallout 2 and is one of the most influential factions.
Who is the Enclave? The Enclave is an organization that mainly originated from remnants of the US government and important organizations. It is an extremely brutal faction and hostile to anyone who does not belong to the Enclave.
In this cave, you will find the information you need.
How to find the Enclave: Your headquarters is located in the Whitespring Bunker. However, it is not immediately accessible. First, you need to find a cave in the east of Appalachia. There, you will face a fight with Deathclaws, so be prepared.
If you manage to get past the Deathclaws, you will find a corpse inside the cave. Now follow the tasks and you will eventually gain access to the Whitespring Bunker.
There, you will meet MODUS, an AI of the Enclave. It will give you instructions on how to join the faction.
This faction is also one of the new groups that only exist in West Virginia.
Who are the Free States? The Free States were founded by US Senator Sam Blackwell and Raleigh Grey. In the years of the war, it was a movement of survivors who increasingly clashed with the law until they eventually broke away from the government.
Some survived the war in self-built bunkers. A few years after the end of the war, they opened their bunkers and took it upon themselves to fight the Scorched. They were not hostile towards other factions but mostly kept to themselves.
How to find the Free States: In the swamp, there are four bunkers that belonged to the Free States. First, head to Abbie’s Bunker in the northeastern corner of the map. There you can start the questline.
The quests are among the harder ones and will have you fighting Deathclaws among other things. So make sure your level is sufficient.
The Order of Mysteries
The Order is a new group that now makes its first appearance in Fallout 76.
What is the Order of Mysteries? It is a group that only women could join. The Order was founded after the war by Shannon and Frederick Rivers. They took in girls who had become orphans. These girls were to become the heroines of Appalachia, based on the Mistress of Mystery.
This character is a kind of superheroine and comes from the same comics as the Silver Shroud, which some players may know from Fallout 4.
How to find the Order of Mysteries: The headquarters is located east of Charleston, near the Summersville Dam. However, you must first go to the Charleston Medical Center. You can read the complete questline in our guide on MeinMMO.
The CentrO in Oberhausen, the Mecca of Pokémon GO fans, has lost dozens of PokéStops. Apparently, the Pokémon trainers disturbed customers while shopping.
The CentrO in Oberhausen is well-known to many Pokémon GO fans. For example, the Safari Zone 2017 took place there. Additionally, there were dozens of PokéStops on the mall’s grounds. Nowhere else in Germany could you play as well as in the CentrO.
However, a large number of the stops are now history. Overnight, the CentrO lost at least 20 PokéStops.
CentrO is now uninteresting for Pokémon GO players
Only a few PokéStops remain on the CentrO grounds. Effectively playing Pokémon here is no longer possible.
CentrO is a partner of Niantic: The CentrO is a shopping mall owned by Unibail Rodamco. This company is a partner of Niantic and has shopping centers all over Germany that host numerous PokéStops. However, the CentrO was considered by many Pokémon players to be the best mall.
Even in the summer of 2017, thousands of Pokémon players gathered in Oberhausen as a Safari Zone was held there. Larvitar, Chansey, and other rare Pokémon spawned around the CentrO.
The CentrO wanted the removal of the PokéStops
Statement from Pokémon GO: The Pokémon GO page on Facebook commented on the changes. They stated that the changes were intended to be made only by the weekend and that a large portion of the PokéStops and gyms would remain. However, it did not mention that the changes had already been made and that only two gyms and three stops remained.
CentrO speaks up: In a post on Facebook, the CentrO also explained the step towards removal. They said that especially during the winter months, the number of Pokémon players on Community Days had been enormous.
Subsequently, complaints were received as many customers could not shop in peace. For the CentrO, it was now time to remove the stops, as it could not handle the influx of customers and Pokémon GO players simultaneously, especially during the Christmas season.
Other malls still have PokéStops: For Pokémon GO players, it now means finding a new place to catch Pokémon. Other shopping malls owned by Unibail Rodamco still have their numerous PokéStops.
What do you think about this? Have you ever been to the CentrO to play Pokémon?
