Nevertheless, the weapon is hardly in the spotlight and relatively little is reported about its qualities. But there is a reason for that.
That’s why many Guardians are unaware of the Wavesplitter
The biggest problem with the Wavesplitter: The weapon is only available randomly from exotic engrams, and on the other hand, the Wavesplitter is currently still PS4-exclusive. Therefore, fewer players currently have access to this Exotic, with two platforms missing entirely.
Since almost all well-known Destiny YouTubers and streaming personalities now play on PC and produce their content there, the weapon receives relatively little attention despite its performance. Thus, it remains under the radar of many players – even those who play on PS4.
For example, the well-known Destiny YouTuber Mtashed admits that he only became aware of this weapon through a friend on PS4 and then tested it on his account. Until then, he was not even properly aware of the existence of the Wavesplitter, as hardly anything was heard about this linear fusion rifle aside from the announcement of the PS4 exclusives.
When will the Wavesplitter be available on PC and Xbox One? This has not yet been officially announced. However, it is suspected to be around September 2019. The PS4-exclusive content from the first year of Destiny 2 only became available on other platforms with the launch of Forsaken, one year after their release.
However, if the weapon is not nerfed by then, the arsenal on PC and Xbox One will be enriched with a really good Exotic that the Guardians can look forward to.

What makes the Wavesplitter special? This linear fusion rifle fires a concentrated laser beam with Void damage. This beam has three different intensities, which vary while holding down the trigger. Thus, the damage of the weapon also varies.
However, if you collect a Sphere of Light, the Wavesplitter maintains its maximum power continuously for a short time. This allows the weapon to deal massive damage.
The weapon impresses across the board: The weapon performs impressively across all areas of the game. In PvE, the weapon looks just as good as in the Crucible or in Gambit. Not for nothing do many Guardians consider this linear fusion rifle to be one of the best exotic all-round weapons in the game, which also does not take up a Power slot.
While the damage output of the weapon varies between the three levels, even at the lowest level the Wavesplitter deals considerable damage. At the highest level, it melts away almost everything that stands in front of it. Only against raid bosses are there better exotic alternatives – but then in the Power slot.
The Wavesplitter reaches its full potential when you collect Spheres of Light. Then the intensity of the damage no longer oscillates between the three levels, but immediately jumps to the maximum for a duration of 9 seconds, increasing the damage output by about 50%.
This effect has no cooldown. So you can collect the next light sphere as needed and renew or maintain the buff. When playing in a team where you are sufficiently supplied with spheres of light, the weapon becomes an absolute DPS monster.

Wargaming, the developers of World of Tanks, have acquired Edge Case. This is the studio behind a dead SF-MMO, behind Fractured Space. Development there was halted in October. Now the team is working on a new MMO for Wargaming.
This has happened: Wargaming has pampered itself with the studio “Edge Case”. The 32 employees of the MMO studio in Guildford, England, are moving to the Wargaming UK studio. This is – what a coincidence – also in Guildford, a town with 80,000 inhabitants.
The new studio in the same city was opened by Wargaming just a few months earlier, in September 2018.
At that time, Wargaming had already said: The UK has a fantastic talent pool of employees, especially in Guildford. Apparently, Wargaming had already considered the “Edge Case” studio back in September.
A new MMO is being created in the UK
What are they working on in Guildford? The now 55 employees of Wargaming UK will be working on a new, yet-to-be-announced MMO. It is supposed to be a Free2Play MMO and run on the Unreal Engine. However, more is not yet known.
What Edge Case has done so far: Edge Case developed the SF-MMO “Fractured Space”. However, it essentially ended in October 2018.
At that time, Edge Case announced that no new updates for Fractured Space would be released. However, the game will remain online.

On Steamcharts, it can be seen that Fractured Space never really managed to find a player base. Fractured Space peaked in the fall of 2016 with an average of 1000 players. However, in 2017, the game mostly had between 200 and 300 people online. Since 2018, the player numbers have further declined.
Meanwhile, Fractured Space has excellent ratings on Steam and holds 77% positive reviews.

Who are the Forge Saboteurs? The Forge Saboteurs are new mini-bosses in the open world of Destiny 2. They can be encountered at various locations in the game world, have a large health pool, and have a power level recommendation starting from 600.
However, do not confuse them with the bosses of public events, as they can sometimes also spawn during a Public Event. You can recognize the new bosses by the name “Forge Saboteur” above the yellow health bar.
How to get the new weapons? If you defeat one of these mini-bosses, they may drop one of the new weapons with a bit of luck. The drop and the corresponding weapon are random. It is possible that you might not see any of the new weapons even after 10 boss encounters. You need to be persistent.
Note that the weapons can only be obtained directly from the boss. The event-specific chests that spawn nearby do not give (yet) any loot. You can ignore them. Additionally, the weapons, according to previous user reports, drop exclusively for owners of the Annual Pass.

The Strategy
Don’t play alone: Alone, you’ll have a hard time bringing down these big foes – even if you’re already at 600. It’s best to hunt them in a fire team or ensure that other players are present in the current instance.
You can also use the fast travel function until you spawn in the area where multiple players are already active or waiting for the boss. This shouldn’t be a problem, as apparently many players are using this farming method, and you will almost always encounter several Guardians.
The farming method on Nessus: The bosses spawn in numerous locations in the world of Destiny 2. However, a specific spot on Nessus has proven to be particularly effective for farming. Travel to the area “Artifact’s Cauldron”.

Once you have defeated this boss, jump on your Sparrow and immediately continue into the adjacent area “The Drain”. There you will find a large hole in the ground that leads into an underground cave complex. Jump down there. The next mini-boss – a Cabal Commander – should be waiting for you right there.

After defeating this boss, use the fast travel and return to the “Artifact’s Cauldron” area. There, you will either encounter the boss again directly or have to wait a while at the crash site. You can now repeat this cycle as many times as you like and farm continuously.

This is how the mini-boss mechanic works: The bosses have a new mechanic. They are protected by a shield, which is maintained by small blue drones. You need to destroy these drones. The interesting part: All weapons come with random rolls. It is possible for some perks to appear multiple times on one weapon, enhancing the effect. For instance, the shotgun can have the perk “Rampage” roll twice. Although the effect is capped at 3 stacks, you can now stack them faster. Because a kill now gives you two stacks of Rampage instead of just one.
However, keep this in mind: These are likely weapons that are intended to be rewards for the open world and certain activities after the launch of the first premium DLC. These are not the firearms you will receive from the 4 forges or from other DLC-specific activities like the new raid.

Many complain on Reddit or other social platforms about the prices in the online mode. They wish for a “reliable method to earn money,” otherwise they would stop playing.
“It really costs $65 or more to change a part of your weapon. How the hell is that supposed to happen when mission rewards bring in $2 and looting corpses brings in 9 cents?” writes Reddit user BlackManta20.
Another user writes: We earn money as if it were the year 1899, but everything costs so much as if it were the year 2018. Man, if I want to deal with a shitty wage/living cost ratio, I can just go outside.
Others joke: We were too busy robbing stagecoaches and banks. We didn’t even realize that the real money is in the canning of beans.
