The Showdown series of Red Dead Online is expanding! With “Spoils of War,” a new multiplayer mode is being added to the online component of Red Dead Redemption 2. We will tell you what it’s about.
That’s why Red Dead Online is becoming interesting again: The game has been a bit quiet in recent weeks. Players have requested new content and Rockstar has now delivered.
The new game mode will please many players because it offers epic battles along with many other players. Skill and good teamwork are important.
This is Spoils of War
How does the mode work? In this mode, you have to start from your hideouts.
This way, you and your teammates will loot the enemy’s hideout and bring the loot back to your own hideout. The one who has stolen the most at the end wins.
This is how the new mode is promoted by Rockstar.
How big are the matches? The mode is designed for 2-16 players. You can start Spoils of War even with just one friend.
This means for you: The mode offers you a new gaming experience. You have to protect your own hideout while also playing offensively and robbing the enemies. Good communication within the team is important.
How can I play? There are three ways to start the game mode:
Go to the “Featured Series” field in the beta’s start menu
Click on “Quick Join” in the player menu
Start the mode via the marker “Featured Series” on the map
This is how the mode is celebrated: To make it even more worthwhile to play the mode, there are 20% more XP in all Showdown modes this week.
This clothing is new: In the catalog of Wheeler, Rawson & Co, there are new outfits this week as well. But you should be quick, as they might sell out soon. Starting now:
For some time, fans have been wondering when the first season of Apex Legends might start. Now there is new information from a leak, and it comes from EA itself.
This is what the leak reveals: For a brief moment, a banner for the Battle Pass of Apex Legends was visible on EA’s gaming platform, Origin. This was shared by the player Spliddo on reddit. (via Dexerto) The first season apparently carries the name “Wild Frontier.”
The image shows the new legend Octane. Octane has apparently been confirmed as the next legend for some time – this was also revealed through a leak. The new image now seems to confirm that Octane will indeed become the next playable legend.
Additionally, the price of the Battle Pass has been leaked. Apparently, the Battle Pass will cost 950 Apex Coins. The smallest unit in which this amount of coins can be purchased is 1000 coins for 9.99€. Thus, the pass costs about 9.50€.
After a small data leak from Apex partner AMD, it was mentioned in a tweet that “Tuesday” should bring new content, so today. However, there are no indications of the release on any official Twitter channels of Apex Legends.
Don’t miss any news: To stay updated on Apex Legends, you should subscribe to our Facebook page . We also have a Facebook group for Apex Legends, where you can find teammates and chat with other players.

The Dorn Quest: The Dorn quest starts in the ETZ on Earth. Go to the Trostland area for this.
Run north into the salt mines, enter the salt works, and continue until you reach the broken elevator where you will find a teleporter. Use this.
Once you are teleported, run up the hill until you reach an energy barrier. Stick to the left by the rock wall and jump through the small passage upwards. There you will find an abandoned hideout.
Search the campfire and you will receive the first step of the Dorn quest – a melted metal lump. Now you can use our guide.
At Ada-1 there are powerful weapon frames for the bow, sword, and auto rifle.
Petra Venj is located in the Rheasilvia area of the Dreaming City. You can earn a powerful reward by completing a mission with her. For the Ascendant Challenge and the 8 daily bounties, there are also two more powerful gear pieces on top. Currently, the 4th Ascendant Challenge is active.
Spider has the weekly bounty “Bloodsplitter” for you. If you complete this bounty, you will receive a powerful reward.
The Raid Challenge takes place in the Royal Pools .
The field research in March 2019 in Pokémon GO is the same as in the previous months. Nevertheless, some of them are particularly worthwhile. We will tell you which ones they are.
These are the quests: The field research that we present to you is particularly rewarding. They involve either rare Shinys or strong Pokémon.
In addition, we will give you tips on how to complete this field research in the best way possible.
1. Use 1 item when evolving Pokémon: From this task, you get the chance to catch a shiny Aerodactyl. This Pokémon is particularly rare in the wild, and currently, there is no Aerodactyl in raids. The shiny is therefore particularly rare, and the quest offers you a good opportunity to catch it.
Aerodactyl is also available as a shiny
The quest is even more worthwhile if you have it in your inventory 2 or 3 times. Then you only need to use a evolution item and you can complete all quests at once. Here, the Sinnoh Stone can be effectively used.
2. Use 5 berries when catching Pokémon: If you find this quest, you could encounter a shiny Fukano. Fukano is quite rare in the wild, so shiny versions are relatively few among players.
The quest is best suited if you immediately do a legendary raid right after. There you will probably use berries when catching anyway, and the quest will be completed quickly.
3. Evolve a Pokémon: In this quest, you will encounter a Sunkern or Eevee. The latter is not so interesting, but Sunkern is a very rare shiny.
Shiny Magnetilo can also be found in the quests in March. This could soon evolve into Magnezone.
4. Catch 5 Fighting-type Pokémon: This quest rewards you with a Magnetilo. Outside of the then-current event where shiny Magnetilo was released, there is hardly a chance to encounter this Pokémon.
The quest is best completed in cloudy weather. Many fighting Pokémon come out then, and especially Mankey will help you complete it. But Glibunkel or Machollo are also quite common and useful for the quest.
5. Catch 10 Ground-type Pokémon: This quest is probably the most interesting. Here you get the chance to catch shiny Sandan. This Pokémon is rare outside of events, so shiny versions are highly sought after.
One of the rarest Shinys: Sandan
As a ground Pokémon, especially Schmerbe is a good option. It is quite common and counts for the quest. But you will also encounter Quiekel more often.
6. Land 3 great throws: Here you will encounter a Nebulak. This Pokémon can also be shiny since the Gengar Day but has never had an event. It is therefore very rare.
The downside of this quest is that two other Pokémon, Anorith and Liliep, can also come from the task. However, these could also still be useful for the Meltan special research.
7. Send 2 gifts to friends: Here you will definitely receive a Nebulak, as there are no other Pokémon as rewards.
This is what shiny Nebulak looks like.
8. Land 3 superb throws in a row: This quest is quite tricky, but rewards you with a Larvitar. This can not only be shiny but also evolves into a extremely strong evolution with Tyranitar.
To achieve superb throws, look for Pokémon with large catch circles. These include Pokémon like Pantimos, Makuhita, or even Dialga. Then throw a Nanab Berry to ensure the monster doesn’t move.
9. Win 5 gym battles: In this quest, you will encounter a Lapras, which is not a possible shiny, but this Pokémon is very rare in the wild, and it is advisable to possess a strong specimen.
Chaneira can also be obtained from a quest
10. Hatch 5 eggs: If you complete this field research, you can catch a Chaneira. Both Chaneira and its evolution Heiteira belong to the best defenders in the game.
Make sure to use super incubators as well. They shorten the distance of eggs and help you reach your goal faster.
11. Spin 10 PokéStops or gyms: In this quest, you will not receive a Pokémon but instead 5 silver Nanab Berries. These berries can otherwise only be obtained from Adventure Sync and special research. They are therefore very rare. The berries will help you catch rare Pokémon.
If you are looking for all current field research for March, you will find them here:
The star streamer Shroud had a scooter accident and now has to take a break for a while. He reassures his fans: Everything is fine with his gaming arm. His aiming in Apex Legends should still be good.
What kind of accident was that? The popular Twitch streamer Michael “Shroud” Grzesiek has to take a forced break from streaming. He suffered a serious injury to his elbow in a scooter accident, which now needs to be operated on.
As streaming colleague Just9n explains, Shroud was riding a scooter on a street. He then pulled too hard on the front brake and fell over the handlebar of the scooter, hitting the asphalt. However, he did not land on his right (gaming) arm, but on the left one.
In the accident, he seems to have torn a hole in his elbow and a piece of bone has dislodged from the elbow, which now needs to be reattached.

In another clip (via TwitchTV), Just9n explains that Shroud was going way too fast and wasn’t wearing a helmet. The fall could have turned out much worse.
This is what Shroud says about it: After the accident, Shroud spoke up on Twitter. He writes, “No stream today, blame the scooter for that.” Afterwards, fans asked how Shroud was doing and whether his career was in danger.
Shroud was riding a scooter like this. Source: Nanrobot.com
“Broys, I have an operation on my elbow today. I might be out of action for a while.” Then he adds, “It’s my left arm. Don’t worry, the aiming is still there. The movement might be a bit slower while I recover.

This is what fans feared: Shroud is considered an aiming god, who repeatedly delivers impressive scenes in shooters . Now many viewers were worried that Shroud wouldn’t be able to handle his mouse hand properly anymore, which is used for aiming in shooters on PC. But he seems to have been lucky and only injured his keyboard arm.

A problem has been fixed where weekly bounties were reset on Sundays instead of with the Weekly Reset on Tuesdays. We reported on the reset issue, which has now been quickly fixed.
A problem has been fixed where the quests from “Misdeeds” and “Broken Neck” in Gambit and Gambit-Prime were not progressing as expected.
In Reckoning, “Prisma” has been removed as a possible modifier due to an issue. A future update will bring the modifier back, but in turn will remove “Glass” from the rotation.
The Misdeed
A problem has been fixed where the “The Best Attack” triumph, which grants you Oxygen SG3, was not counting the correct number of Light Spheres created in Strikes.
A problem has been fixed where some Primordials disappeared in Gambit-Prime.
A problem has been fixed where blockers did not appear in “Kell’s Grave” and “Cathedral of Sorrow”. Bungie will activate these maps again once the issue is resolved.
A problem has been fixed where some Gambit quests and bounties were not progressing correctly.
A problem has been fixed where it was mistakenly announced in Gambit that players’ particles were lost when they were defeated by an opposing invader.
Additionally, a future update, in hotfix 2.2.0.2, will fix an issue with powerful rewards. Currently, they allow for lower level increases than expected. Normally, the progress should slow down starting from 690, but currently, the slow progress is active from 650.
As soon as more patch notes are available, we will add them here.
Starting this evening, you can hunt for the Thorn. The quest steps are already known:
In The Division 2, character creation is significantly more extensive than in the first part. However, agents miss some features.
These features are missed in the character editor: Shortly after the early access launch of The Division 2, one of the top posts in the Division Reddit is a complaint post by a young man. He complains that he feels discriminated against as a bald man.
The character editor does not allow agents to be bald. You can only choose a buzz cut – that is, a very short hairstyle. However, this buzz cut is not the same as being bald, emphasizes the user.
It can’t get any shorter than this
In the comments, most agents respond with humor. One jokes that a bald head would greatly affect gameplay. Because bald agents would have speed advantages, as the lack of hair provides no wind resistance. As a bald man, he knows this to be true.
Others write that they have been bald for years and now face an almost insurmountable decision about which hairstyle to give their agent. The disappointment is immense! Words like “discrimination” and “unplayable” appear in the comments – most certainly written with irony.
Nevertheless, another important feature is still missing, which men must do without: the three-day beard. In addition to the full beard and the mustache, there are six other beard styles, but no three-day beard.
Character Editor – How to create and customize your agent
When you start with The Division 2, the game begins directly with character creation. First, choose whether you want an agent or an agent (this is determined by “Switch Body Type”) – and then you have numerous customization options.
The customization options for the character are:
Appearance: Here you can choose between 12 head shapes, customize the face, adjust skin, eye, and hair color, and adjust hair and beard
Special features: Here you can select scars, facial paint, and tattoos on the neck, arms, and legs
Outfits: Additionally, you can choose a headgear, glasses, a shirt, pants, shoes, and a “patch.”
Agent with facial paint
Especially in tattoos, hair colors, and facial paint, there is quite a lot of choice. However, one is limited in hairstyles and beards.
How to optimize the face: You can extensively customize your agent’s face. Here the game gives you many options for adjustments:
Brow height
Brow depth
Eye line
Eye spacing
Nose width
Nose height
Nose root
Mouth height
Cheeks
Chin line
Ear spacing
Ear size
You can watch all customization options for male and female agents in this video by Arekkz Gaming:

How was it in The Division 1? Character customization in The Division 1 was significantly more limited. You only had 8 face shapes and 5 hairstyles to choose from. Only with tattoos, paint jobs, and piercings could you get a bit creative.
In The Division 2, the character editor is significantly more extensive.
Although the streamer Dr DisRespect Apex Legends is celebrating, he says there is a major downside. PUBG, Fortnite, and H1Z1 would do it better.
What does Dr DisRespect say? In one of his streams, he explains that while Apex Legends is a lot of fun to play, it is boring for the viewer. Other games in the same genre do this much better and entertain the viewers more.

This is what makes Fortnite and Co. better: In the stream, he says that the gameplay of Apex Legends is not exciting. “In my opinion, it’s more exciting to watch Battlegrounds.” He continues that Fortnite and H1Z1 are also more interesting for the viewer.
This game has the same problems: DisRespect then draws an interesting comparison between Apex Legends and a popular title from Blizzard.
It’s a bit like Overwatch. You know, Overwatch is really fun to play, you get hooked quickly. But it’s just terrible to watch.
What position does Apex Legends have on Twitch? The viewer numbers on TwitchTV show that there is a lot of interest in the Apex Legends streams. Many streamers are currently playing this battle royale shooter as their main game, including Dr DisRespect.
Fortnite was at the top of TwitchTV for months, but was surpassed by Apex Legends in February. Now, Fortnite has fought its way back to the top. This might have to do with Dexerto saying that Fortnite has a new season with new content like treasure maps, while everyone is still waiting for the start of Season 1 in Apex Legends.
The ranking of the most popular Twitch games could change with Season 1 of Apex Legends returning the shooter from Respawn to number 1.
Another issue bothering professional streamer Shroud:
The most famous Paladin from World of Warcraft has struck again. Rextroy has released a new video, and this time it’s about the battle between Alliance and Horde… more or less.
This is how the battle went: A new video from Rextroy shows a battle between 40 shamans and 40 paladins in one of the oldest and most famous battlefields of WoW, Alterac Valley. The two full raids clash and fight each other.
At the beginning, there is not much to see from the Paladins’ perspective except for a huge storm of chain lightning and a forest of totems. The whole encounter looks more like a light show of holy rays and elemental lightning.
For about 15 minutes, the two groups fought until the Alliance’s reinforcements (visible at the top of the screen under “Reinforcements”) ran out and the Horde won. Most of the battle took place in the “Zerg” in the middle of the map.

This is how the shamans won: As seen in the info screen at the end, most shamans killed significantly more paladins than vice versa. In Alterac Valley, both factions start with 700 reinforcements, which decrease through player deaths and other mechanics.
If the reinforcements drop to 0, the corresponding faction loses. However, the shamans apparently cheated a bit. As Rextroy writes under his video, there was an agreement that dead players would not release their spirits and rejoin the fight.
The paladins apparently took this agreement more seriously. More players on their side adhered to it, while the shamans eagerly released their spirits. Whether this was really the deciding factor cannot be said; it is merely an observation.
The top players of the round are all shamans.
Who is Rextroy? In the WoW community, Rextroy is well known for consistently creating absurd or funny scenes:
This is why the video: Rextroy himself describes the battle as a “reboot of the class struggle from Classic.” By this, he probably means a video that circulated many years ago, showing how 40 shamans and 40 paladins met in the open field.

The recordings were particularly interesting back then because in Classic only the Horde could choose shamans, and paladins were exclusive to the Alliance.

For a mod to Dota 2, you would expect that mainly Dota players would be excited about it. But currently, more and more Hearthstone streamers are playing Auto Chess. The reason for this is the fast updates that are painfully missed in the card game.
Which streamers play Dota 2 Auto Chess? Looking at the list of top English Hearthstone streamers of the last 365 days, measured by watch time, you will come across names like:
DisguisedToast
Dog
Asmodai
Amaz
Savjz
and Kolento
All six streamers currently play Auto Chess as a side activity or even exclusively. But other well-known Hearthstone names like Hafu, Trump, or Firebat have also recently dabbled with the mod.
This connects Hearthstone and Auto Chess
The two games Hearthstone and Auto Chess are very different in structure. However, they share the strategic approach and a well-functioning ranking system. This probably also adds to the appeal for many Hearthstone streamers.
Auto Chess comparable to Arena: In each round, you are presented with figures in Auto Chess from which you can choose.
Similar to the Arena in Hearthstone, you have to make the best out of what you are randomly offered.
Positioning plays a big role: In Hearthstone, good players pay attention to how they play their creatures. Against certain classes, specific positioning is useful to weaken the mage’s meteor, for example.
Positioning plays an even greater role in Auto Chess. Since the figures attack their opponents or even jump to the other side of the board, they must be positioned accordingly.
What Makes Auto Chess Better Than Hearthstone
Problems with Hearthstone: Many of the initially mentioned streamers have been dissatisfied with Hearthstone recently. The reason for this is a relatively rigid meta and few innovations. Even Blizzard has noticed that their card game is currently struggling with problems.
For many streamers, a new game comes in handy, especially if it addresses issues that Blizzard is responding to too slowly.
Regular updates: Since the release on January 4, there have already been over 60 updates. Although many of them were mainly bug fixes, several useful features were also added.
Useful changes include, for example, improved display options, better statistics for the game figures, and even some new figures.
Additionally, many languages are now supported, including German, French, and Russian.
Good balance and quick adjustments: Many streamers praise the balance in Auto Chess. Regularly, smaller adjustments are made there.
Amaz particularly emphasized in a livestream that, unlike Blizzard, all weak figures receive regular buffs to be useful.
According to Amaz, Blizzard nerfs strong cards far too often instead of improving weak ones.
Streamers in Action at Twitch Rivals
If you want to see some of the mentioned streamers live in action, you can tune in to Twitch Rivals tomorrow and the day after.
What are the Twitch Rivals? At the Twitch Rivals, well-known streamers are invited to compete in a tournament against each other. These duels take place in many different games, including Hearthstone.
In the duel in Auto Chess, a total of 32 streamers compete against each other for a prize pool of $25,000. The participants have since been announced via Twitter:
When do the Twitch Rivals take place? On March 13 and 14, the streamers will duel live on Twitch. The EU duels start at 5:00 PM our time, the American games at 9:00 PM.
If you want to get the mod for yourself, you can find all the important information in this article:

This is the controversy surrounding Diablo Immortal: Upon announcement, Diablo Immortal was not well received by fans. They are eagerly waiting for a new installment in the Diablo series, but had no desire for a mobile game at first.
The core of Diablo fans consists of PC gamers. Many do not want to transition to mobile, associating it with lower quality and cash shops.
The frustration was also related to the timing of the announcement. At BlizzCon 2018, fans eagerly awaited news about Diablo 4. Instead, there was no information provided. Instead, the Diablo panel fully focused on the mobile game Diablo Immortal.
During a Q&A session, an audience member asked whether Diablo Immortal would also be released on PC. The developers stated that a PC version was not in the works, garnering boos from the crowd. That the Blizzard employees then also asked “Don’t you have phones?” quickly became a running gag.

Why it could still be cool: Diablo Immortal is supposed to bring fresh ideas and not rely on features like “Autoplay.” This is a core feature of many Asian RPGs, where characters automatically run while the player does not need to control them.
Developer NetEase has been a partner of Blizzard for 10 years and is not a “typical Asian developer.”
Moreover, Blizzard wants to focus more on mobile games. They will likely not implement this title half-heartedly, as this step with Diablo Immortal is very important for the company. We have explained to you the reasons why this game may turn out better than expected:
Our survey for you: We already asked you in November 2018 whether you would play Diablo Immortal. At that time, the announcement was still fresh, and opinions were heated. Now some time has passed, and some have changed their minds or at least want to give the game a chance. What about you?
Here should now appear a survey. If you can’t see it, just write your answer and reasoning in the comments.
Vote there for your answer and let us know in the comments how you feel about the game and what your reasons for or against Diablo Immortal are.
When Diablo Immortal is released is still unclear. There is hope for a release in 2019. The development looks promising:
Currently, there are four curated weapons available through the new Gambit Prime mode in Destiny 2. However, not many people know exactly what to do to obtain these coveted masterpiece firearms. We clarify.
In addition to new specific armor sets, Gambit Prime introduced 10 new legendary weapons to the game. Four of these are available as what are called Curated Rolls, meaning they are curated versions that can be obtained directly through the Gambit Prime mode.
What are curated weapons? These are special versions of regular weapons. Curated firearms come with fixed, predefined perk sets and are already at Masterwork level 10 with certain stats.
Some of these feature very sought-after perk combinations that can only be obtained with a lot of luck or through lengthy grinding.
How to Get Curated Weapons in Gambit Prime – Here’s What You Need to Do
These are the 4 weapons in question: While there is a curated version for all 10 new Gambit Prime-style weapons, only four of them can be securely obtained through the Gambit Prime mode itself. These are
the submachine gun “Survival Kit”
the sniper rifle “Only Survivor”
the hand cannon “Ration”
and the shotgun “Only One Stands”
Other curated weapons from the Gambit Prime arsenal, such as the scout rifle “Night Watch,” drop in tier 2 of the “Reckoning” mode. For others, no sources are known yet. It is therefore likely that more weapons with Curated Rolls will be added over time.
What do you need to do? Clever players have discovered a system by which these weapons can drop. To achieve this, you need to perform specific actions in Gambit Prime that will reward you with a specific item, known as a Synth.
Each of the different Synth types is tied to one of the total four roles of Gambit Prime and requires specific actions to drop. In each match, you only have the chance to receive one of these special Synths, depending on the role you take on and which task you complete first.
Keep in mind: If you complete a task and receive a specific Synth, you will not receive any other Synths in the ongoing match. So focus on just one task while farming and avoid deliberately completing other tasks “on the side.”
Because when one of the Synths drops for you, you also have the chance for the corresponding Curated Roll – and only for that one. If no curated weapon drops when you receive the Synth, luck was not on your side, and you need to try again in the next match.
By the way: The following methods are likely not the only ways to obtain these weapons. Some players report having apparently obtained them in other ways as well. However, this system is considered proven and has already been confirmed by numerous Guardians.
Submachine Gun “Survival Kit”: This weapon is tied to the Reaper role.
To receive the corresponding Synth, you need to eliminate a high-value target. It is enough to shoot at this opponent. Even if your team finishes the job, this Synth can drop.
When obtaining the Reaper Synth, the curated SMG can also drop for you.
Sniper Rifle “Only Survivor”: This sniper is tied to the Invader role. To receive the corresponding Synth, you need to obtain the “One Man Army” medal.
Specifically, this means you must eliminate all four members of the enemy team while invading. The curated version of the Gambit Prime sniper can also drop.
Hand Cannon “Ration”: For this hand cannon, you must prove yourself as a Collector.
If you want the Collector Synth and the opportunity for Ration, you need to deposit 50 motes during a Gambit Prime match at the bank.
Shotgun “Only One Stands”: For this shotgun, you must take on the role of the Sentinel. To get the Sentinel Synth and a chance for the curated version of the shotgun, you need to eliminate 5 blockers in a Prime match.
Important: You must deliver the killing blow to them. If one of your teammates eliminates the blocker, it does not count towards your progress on the way to the Sentinel Synth.

Blizzard has released the official patch notes for the upcoming patch 8.1.5 for World of Warcraft. We have reviewed them and highlighted the key points.
Patch 8.1.5 will be released on March 13 on the European servers and it brings some changes. Now that the official homepage has the patch notes in English, we summarize the five most important changes for you.
Allied Races: Kul Tiran and Zandalari Trolls
The feature that many players are looking forward to in patch 8.1.5 is the new allied races. For the Alliance, the humans of Kul Tiras will be playable, and for the Horde, the Zandalari trolls. For both races, you need to meet some requirements:
Exalted reputation with the Proudmoore Admiralty (Alliance) or the Zandalari Empire (Horde)
If you meet the requirements, you will need to play a short scenario. As a reward, you will then gain access to the new races. If you play one of the races without a boost to level 110, you will even receive an exclusive transmog set.
The Story of the War Campaign Continues
For those who want to know what happens after the Battle of Dazar’Alor, the War Campaign continues in patch 8.1.5. The war efforts of both factions will continue and the tension will rise.
A completely new questline for most professions in World of Warcraft is coming. Those who have already reached level 150 in a crafting profession from BfA can visit their teacher in Zuldazar or Boralus with patch 8.1.5.
You will receive quests, at the end of which you can grab some rewards and new recipes. For example, leatherworkers will receive an enhancement for their war drums, and inscriptionists can heal themselves with the blood of the dead. However, jewelcrafters will receive a particularly hefty bonus.

For the dungeons in Battle for Azeroth, one of the possibly most important changes is coming. The changes specifically affect two of the least popular dungeons for Mythic+, King’s Rest and the Shrine of the Storm:
While “Swarming”, some non-boss enemies have been removed from the dungeons
With patch 8.1.5, two new features are making their way into the game. The next season of the Brawler’s Guild is starting and a new raid is opening its gates.
The Brawler’s Guild can be found as usual in Bizmo’s Brawlpub (Alliance) or in the Shlae’gar Arena (Horde). Several ranks await you, where you have to prove your strength in various fights and maybe uncover a secret while doing so.
The new raid, the Crucible of Storms, is also coming with patch 8.1.5, but only later. According to the patch notes, the 2-boss raid will open in mid-April. You can soon look forward to a strange story and special loot, with which you can even kill your friends.

The new online shooter The Division 2 has been playable since Monday for the first time. Our author Schuhmann has already taken a look and explains how the game feels to him.
Even in the beta, I felt like I had spent countless hours with The Division 2 after just a few minutes, even though the game was brand new.
And yesterday my impression was further reinforced: Playing The Division 2 feels like “coming home.”
This is how the finished game differs from the beta:
Right at the beginning, there is a short tutorial with a different starting sequence than in the beta. It explains the “background” of The Division 2, that you follow a distress call and set off for the White House.
The character creation is significantly more extensive than in the first part. The only thing I found a bit strange was that they translated the gender of the character as “Change Body Type.”
I searched for a minute until I could switch from the default female to the male character type.
My hero looks a bit like he just came back from duck hunting.
But you can fine-tune quite a bit. I created a bearded redneck, but removed all neck and arm tattoos – just treated myself to a nice pair of glasses and a beanie.
Otherwise, the actual game starts with the “Storming of the White House,” which you already know from the beta.
I can imagine the developers have revised this area thousands of times to create that strong impression: This is the White House in distress.
You walk across the dirty lawn, past the infamous poisoned fountain, and get a sense of desperation and threat.
White House in The Division 2
This is how I played The Division 2: I completed the first zone last night, that is, I completed the 1st main mission, captured 3 control points, and finished the side missions in the first area.
For that, I tried to choose and test as many different weapons as possible. However, I stuck with a combination of turret and seeker mine skills, which I still know from The Division 1.
It feels good when you’ve cleared such a zone – I’ll get that last control point too.
The firefights are like in the first part, they feel exactly the same: You kill 4, 5 opponents – then the next group comes. I already liked the fighting in the first part, here I feel at home immediately
The machine gun is currently my weapon of choice: kills 4, 5 opponents – takes forever to reload.
The weapons significantly change the way you play, a machine gun makes me act differently than a shotgun – players will quickly find favorite weapons. So far I have mostly liked the classic M4. With submachine guns, I feel more like a street gangster just shooting wildly.
The game is clearly structured, you proceed methodically, gradually recapturing a block – typical Ubisoft format, you save the world piece by piece
Nice here though: After missions the settlement changes, there is a corner for children, a battery storage – the world gets a little better
A play corner for children opens up after one of my missions in the theater settlement.
The turret is controlled completely differently than in the first part, I need to work on that. They have changed something significantly: The turret still looks like in the first part, but now it doesn’t work automatically anymore, evidently manually.
While I felt at Anthem that I was truly having new experiences, I don’t have that with The Division. But that’s not a bad thing.
At the moment, I have the impression that a city is waiting for me to save it with the campaign. And I am evidently already at home in the world of The Division after 5 hours.
I also already had my first Delta error. When I logged in and saw 4000 people in front of me in the queue, I really felt at home.
But times are changing: The queue dwindled within seconds and I had no further errors that evening.
In a livestream, Ninja explains how you can defeat the best players in Fortnite without any cheats. What you need is the crucial weapon and practice with it.
How to defeat the best players? In a stream, the popular streamer Tyler “Ninja” Blevins recently talked about the most important skills that matter in Fortnite. If you master certain weapons, you should have a good chance of defeating the pros.
“Perfect your sniper skills” Ninja starts his explanation to his fans. “In every game, you want to master every one-shot kill item or weapon.”
Do you know how to take out the top players? Do you want to know how to take out all the crazy people who are among the best builders in the game and have the best gameplay experience?
You shoot them in the face with a sniper rifle.

Why is the method so good? If you master other weapons in Fortnite well, that also has advantages. However, mastering a heavy sniper rifle has significantly more impact. Ninja says it’s about the one-shot weapons. So guns that kill with one shot.
The heavy sniper rifle inflicts 150 to 157 damage in Fortnite. It can eliminate opponents who do not have full shields with one shot.
The heavy sniper rifle
This is important because the greatest build skills won’t help a player if they are taken out with a single well-aimed shot. If you are confident with the sniper that you can eliminate opponents from cover with one shot, it doesn’t matter who you are playing against. This way you can also take down the pros.
Where can you practice? In your matches, you should increasingly use the sniper as a primary weapon, even if it may not go well at first. Knowing where to aim at which distance to hit the opponent fatally is crucial here. Because the bullets of the rifles drop over their flight time.
We have a guide for you that explains everything about snipers so that you can win against the best players.
But the maps in creative mode can also help. In the Snipers VS Runners mode, two players duel. While one runs through a parkour, the other shoots at them with a sniper. Such courses are available with different weapons.
In the latest update, something has changed regarding assault rifles:
The MMO shooter The Division 2 is likely to survive the launch weeks well and unscathed, our author Tom finds. And that is a special feature.
Why do MMO shooters disappoint at launch? All previous MMO shooters with a focus on PvE went through roughly the same process.
Up to the release, they build hype, so many players eagerly await the launch with high expectations.
Shortly after release, however, disillusionment sets in. The community uncovers bugs, exploits, and balance issues. Usually, the endgame cannot motivate for long, cheaters ruin the gaming experience, or other problems arise. The launch weeks do not live up to expectations.
The developers then chase after the mistakes for weeks and months. Major innovations are not to be expected, as the base game must first function properly.
Only after months – or about a year – does the MMO shooter stand as one would have wished at launch. But by then, many players have already moved on.
This development has already been experienced by MMO shooters Destiny 1, Destiny 2, and The Division 1 – Anthem is currently in the midst of it.
Why doesn’t this happen with The Division 2? The Division 2, on the other hand, could skip this process and stand on a solid foundation from the start. Why is that?
You can find detailed information on the term “MMO shooter” here.
In-game scene from The Division 2
The Division 2 launches with a lot of diverse content
The problem with other MMO shooters: Like all games, MMO shooters face the problem that players eventually run out of content. However, as they are “games-as-a-service,” the community expects regular and satisfying content updates.
Especially MMO shooters with a focus on PvE, like The Division 1 or Anthem, cannot deliver new content as quickly as it is consumed by players.
Typically, they lack sufficient modes at launch with high long-term motivation to quench the thirst for content over an extended period.
Only with future expansions will new content be delivered – but in the meantime, players must exercise patience.
This is what The Division 2 does better: The Division 2 boasts a solid campaign right at launch, which Ubisoft claims should keep agents occupied for about 40 hours. However, if you play in a team, it can be completed significantly faster, as the first players have already completed the campaign.
Additionally, an open world invites exploration, filled with side missions, collectibles, and many hidden details.
In addition to extensive PvE content, which you can actually play solo or co-op, The Division 2 also features PvP modes that can keep many agents engaged for a long time and motivate through the competitive aspect. And then there is also the Dark Zone, a PvEvP area, which is a unique feature of the Division brand.
At launch, you already have a wide selection of how and what you want to play with your agents in The Division 2.
This agent is at the beginning of her adventures in Division 2
The Division 2 has an extensive endgame at launch
The problem with other MMO shooters: For many players, the fun in an MMO shooter only begins in the endgame. Because then it’s about optimizing the build, tackling the hardest challenges, and claiming the best loot.
That’s why some players rush through the campaign quickly to start the endgame – and find hardly any content waiting for them. The Destiny games, in particular, struggled for a long time with a varied endgame; The Division 1 initially had little to offer besides an underdeveloped Dark Zone and few incursions.
This is what The Division 2 does better: According to all available information, Massive seems to deliver a well-thought-out endgame that has a lot to offer. First, you actually have to unlock the full endgame.
There, 5 world tiers await you, each of which determines the difficulty and loot of the entire game world. New endgame features await you in each tier.
Furthermore, a new faction appears only in the endgame in The Division 2, which is said to be quite strong, introduces new weapons and tricks, and significantly shakes up the game. They occupy previously played story missions and strongholds, making this already played content exciting again.
The Division 2 offers what players expect from an endgame: that the game only truly begins then and that it sets goals for players to pursue.
The Division 2 will be a feast for build optimizers
The problem with other MMO shooters: MMO shooters often struggle with loot issues at launch. Either there is a lack of exciting loot, the drop rates are too high or too low, or some items are completely overpowered and ruin the balance.
This is what The Division 2 does better: Whether The Division 2 has its loot under control will only be seen in the coming days. However, it certainly shouldn’t become boring anytime soon.
Because you have plenty of options to optimize your character. In addition to different quality levels of armor (up to high-end), you can enhance builds with exotics, gear sets, specializations, and brand armor, all of which grant unique benefits.
Moreover, there are several skills, perks, weapons, and talents. Most can also be customized with mods, allowing you to experiment for hours to gradually improve your agent.
The Division 2 has learned from the mistakes of part 1
The problem with other MMO shooters: Here, Destiny serves as an example. For three years, the first part was continuously improved and fed with new content, culminating in a well-rounded MMO shooter.
And then came Destiny 2. Many of the praised improvements were discarded, the loot became horribly boring, and it took over a year before the game could be elevated to a higher level with Forsaken. It felt like Bungie did not learn from the development path that Destiny 1 went through and repeated the mistakes.
This is what The Division 2 does better: The Division developers have already emphasized multiple times that they learned from the mistakes of The Division 1 and will build on all the improvements they implemented in the first part over the past three years.
Currently, it seems these are not empty words. With clans, loadouts, dedicated PvP modes, a photo mode, and much more, The Division 2 delivers important features right at launch, which players waited for a long time – or in vain – in the first part. Much community feedback has been implemented in The Division 2.
The Division 2 has a solid post-launch plan
The problem with other MMO shooters: After the launch, many MMO shooters quickly run out of steam. While developers chase after many bugs, players impatiently await fresh content.
In the case of The Division 1, although the first DLC was released as planned after launch, it only caused more balance issues and failed to convince content-wise. The fact that it divided the community (only those who paid received new modes and PS4 players had to wait an additional month) added to the problem.
How The Division 2 will ultimately perform in the hot release phase will be shown in the coming days and weeks. Then, masses of agents will roam Washington D.C. and explore every corner of the game.
Currently, it looks good that The Division 2 will have an excellent launch for an MMO shooter.
In Destiny 2, an exotic rocket launcher is currently making waves. As long as Bungie doesn’t nerf it, everyone should give it a try now.
This is about the Exotic: The Wardcliff Coil is an exotic rocket launcher with an interesting history. It first appeared in databases as an icon in 2015, but it wasn’t until autumn 2017 that the Exotic could finally be played in Destiny 2.
Back then, it was debated whether it had the potential to rival the Gjallarhorn, a powerful weapon that blasts everything out of the way. However, the Wardcliff Coil did not achieve that – at least not until now. Because in Season 6, it is performing exceptionally well.
The Wardcliff Coil
The Wardcliff Coil in Season 6 deals heavy damage
This is how strong the Wardcliff Coil is now: With the recent Season 6 update, Bungie has significantly buffed the rocket launcher. The PvE damage against boss enemies has been increased by a whopping 115%, and the damage can even rise to +160% the weaker the enemy is.
Since other Exotics like the Sleeper Simulant or the Whisper of the Worm, which previously occupied the Exotic slot, have been severely restricted in their ammunition reserves, the Wardcliff Coil is becoming the first choice for many Guardians.
How does this damage buff manifest? The Wardcliff Coil is now powerful against Taken in Gambit, against strike bosses, against raid bosses, and any PvE enemies in general.
In no time, it vaporizes the health points of the big bosses. In this short video, you can see how the Wardcliff Coil takes down the Nightfall boss Nokris with just one shot:

What exactly is the Wardcliff Coil? It is an exotic rocket launcher for the power slot. It deals Arc damage and has these special perks:
Crazy Scientist – exotic perk: The weapon fires a volley of rockets.
Mechanized Loader: The weapon automatically reloads when picking up ammunition.
Now it deals even more than double the damage to bosses in PvE than before, making it a new top Exotic.
How do I get it? You can obtain the Wardcliff Coil randomly from exotic engrams. Xur can also bring it. Since it is a Year 1 Exotic, it has probably been gathering dust in many of your vaults for a long time.
We have already reported on its new power when we gave tips for Gambit Prime. Because it also eliminates Taken in no time in Gambit.
Whether Bungie will soon put this strong weapon back in its place remains to be seen. Until then, it does remind one a bit of the power of the Gjallarhorn.
Players demand that the developers of Anthem “make a statement” by not logging in anymore. Our author Schuhmann says: That makes sense, but it’s the wrong statement.
What kind of boycott is this? Currently, many sites are reporting on a call for a boycott of Anthem.
Players are supposed to not log in for a week until March 15, to signal to the developers that they should adjust the loot rates again. At the core of the protest is a post on the English-speaking community platform Reddit.
On Reddit, they proudly list how many sites have already reported on the protest, from the German GameStar to Russian sites, including Kotaku and Polygon.
A part of the German press echo on the call for a boycott.
They want a “loot rain.” As many masterwork and legendary items should drop as possible so that players can then filter out the best rolls to refine their builds.
The logic is: “Even if I’m fully legendary equipped, I still don’t have the best items and farm for the God Rolls continuously.”
By purposely staying away, players want to send a message and force the developers to yield and adjust the drop rates.
The idea is: “If the game is completely dead for a week, then the investors and the developers themselves will see it and will respond.”
Currently, the tree is burning in Anthem – and the little clown.
That’s why I think it’s not a good idea: Basically, I have sympathy for people who want more loot. I want that too – always.
But I find this culture of coercion, which is forming on Reddit, troubling. It already bothered me when Reddit was deliberately used to have a annoying developer fired from Guild Wars 2 – and it bothers me now.
The developers have stated that loot is a sensitive issue. BioWare itself is dissatisfied with the loot in Anthem, but wants to be cautious in adjusting it.
They speak of “significant changes in the coming months.” Apparently, that’s too slow for the players.
What is the idea behind contradicting the developers and saying: Do it now?
It is a bit like telling the surgeon who is supposed to operate on your heart but wants to wait for the results: “No, just cut! Otherwise, it’s your turn.”
Why do they want to force them to do something that the developers themselves apparently believe is not a good idea?
Such actions ultimately cast a bad light on the game
The lines between developers and players harden
It puts even more pressure on the kettle
Under such pressure, hardly good things can arise. At best, a “short-term solution” will come out of this, which might cause lasting damage.
Full Legendary and then fly to the next game?
If everyone runs around completely legendary – What would be the impact on the game? Would it really be possible to keep that “healthy” over months and years?
It would encourage people to “play through Anthem and finish it” so they can move on to the next game. Is that really the best decision BioWare can make right now?
Example: The Division 1 and ESO
What would be the better solution? One can and should assume that the developers at BioWare have just as much interest in making Anthem the best possible game as the now angry fans. But this “coercive mentality” cannot be a solution.
Anthem is not the first game that has had major issues at launch. Virtually every major online game goes through a challenging phase at release. The only thing that really helps is to stay calm, take a close look at the feedback, and then respond to it in peace.
That takes time and is annoying, but that is the only reasonable solution.
The Elder Scrolls had huge changes discussed along with the top guilds
All games that have managed to turn around in the long term sought dialogue with the fans and then improved the game gradually over months:
In The Division, a “task force” of experts was called in
In Final Fantasy XIV, the game was even completely renewed from the ground up
All these processes took months and were based on good communication with the fans. Such “rush” boycott actions may be a vent for understandable frustration, but they send the wrong signal here.
More than pressure and boycotts, Anthem currently needs constructive feedback and time.
Anyone so furious with BioWare that they want to “send a signal to the investors” should perhaps just play something else until their heated mood has cooled down.
