Fortnite: Battle Royale has received a massive change to the map with the new patch 8.4. The once peaceful Loot Lake is now a high-tech bunker.
What happened to Loot Lake? Loot Lake, also known as Leaky Lake, was until recently a peaceful place with waterfalls flowing around an island where you could find plenty of the namesake loot.
Where the idyllic island once stood, a massive bunker structure with a gigantic access shaft has now emerged.
Around the structure, excavators and research buildings stand. The whole facility somewhat resembles the research station around the meteor impact at Dusty Divot in Season 4.
However, the bunker complex is many times larger and appears much more advanced.
The end of Season 8 is near
What is hidden in the bunker? What exactly is in the gigantic facility cannot yet be determined. The massive metal walls of the structure are indestructible. But it won’t be long until the bunker reveals its secret, as Season 8 is approaching its end and a massive bunker full of secrets is exactly what gives the season finale the right spice.
Will Thanos return? Possibly, the bunker is also related to the rumored return of Thanos from the upcoming Infinity War film. The purple titan appeared in a controversial game mode back in 2018.
Other theories suggest that the mysterious purple cube that once sank in Loot Lake and then made the central island float is making a return. Perhaps the cube or a part of it is hidden deep within the bunker.

In Destiny 2, the spring event “The Revelry” has begun. How to earn Revelry Essence and use the Revelry Elixir will be explained here.
This is the event: With the weekly reset on April 16, a new spring event was activated in Destiny 2. The Revelry runs from April 16 to May 7, bringing you an alternative version of the Verdant Forest on Mercury among other things.

The Verdant Forest is a spring-like version of the Verdant Forest on Mercury.
The buff lasts for one hour. For each additional use of the elixir, you must invest another 50 essences.
Your chosen buff will be strengthened with each piece of gear equipped from the event armor “Kickoff of the Revelry” or from the Eververse armor “Spring Bloom”.
The buffs are active in all activities, even in the Crucible. Only private matches are excluded from this.
This is where you collect essences: You collect Revelry Essences during the event in all activities. However, the best way to quickly gather a lot of essence is the Verdant Forest.
As you battle through the alternate Verdant Forest, you will encounter chests at the end that reward you with essences. These are from the 5 final bosses. After each boss kill, a chest with 10 essences spawns, and after the 5th and final boss, you even get 15 of them. In a single run, you can earn up to 55 units of the new event currency.
Additionally, Eva Levante offers you five bounties every day that reward you with Revelry Essence. However, to gain full access to her bounties, you must first master her first weekly bounty and then speak with her again.

Who are the Chengdu Hunters? The Chengdu Hunters are one of the currently lower-tier teams in the Overwatch League. They were roughly on par with the Shanghai Dragons in the first phase, who only celebrated their first victory in Season 2.

How to get the Arbalest in Destiny 2
What is the Arbalest? This new weapon exotic is the first kinetic linear fusion rifle of Destiny 2.
Thanks to its intrinsic perk, the weapon fires projectiles that deal massive damage to enemy elemental shields – even though the Arbalest itself is actually kinetic. Additionally, enemies become temporarily more vulnerable to kinetic damage when you destroy their elemental shield with the Arbalest.
Where can you get this weapon? The Arbalest was introduced during the three-week Spring Event “The Indulgence” and is currently only available through the event.
After the event, it will drop randomly from exotic engrams, just like the Thunderlord. So if you really want to get the weapon directly, there is likely no way around the Indulgence.
What do you need to do for the Arbalest? The Arbalest can be purchased from Eva Levante, the main contact person for the Spring Event, in the Tower. However, you must meet two prerequisites:
You need 300 units of Indulgent Essence
You must unlock the event triumph “Hard Celebrated”
Then activate the elixir. This grants a buff of your choice as well as access to the weekly bounty and the new event activity Green Forest. You can then start the Green Forest via the Tower map.

How to get Indulgent Essence
What is Indulgent Essence? Indulgent Essence is an event-specific currency during the ongoing Spring Festival.
How to earn the new event currency: You can obtain Essence during the Indulgence from various activities. For example, you can acquire this currency by completing the new event activity Green Forest or daily event bounties from Eva Levante.
The Green Forest has a power level requirement of 200 and offers matchmaking. Therefore, it should be relatively easy for almost any Guardian to participate in this activity.
There, you should defeat as many of the 5 bosses as possible. For each boss you kill, a chest will spawn that contains 10x Indulgent Essence. From the 5th and final chest, you will receive 15x Indulgent Essence. Therefore, you can earn a total of 55 units of this currency per run.
Additionally, you can secure 25 currency units per daily bounty from Eva. But you can also earn Essence through usual activities. For example, you can get around 17 units from a single strike and 6 for completing a public event.
Collecting enough Essence within three weeks should not really be a problem. While hunting for the necessary event triumph, you will likely gather the 300 units quite easily.
How to unlock the triumph “Hard Celebrated”
The path to “Hard Celebrated”: To unlock this triumph, you need to achieve 7 of the total 12 event-specific successes. These include:
Spring Cleaning: 50 branches (levels) cleared in the Green Forest

Developers avoid “artificial difficulty” in Sekiro and raids
Since my entry into multiplayer games with Ragnarok Online, I have played a lot of endgame content. The tough raids in MMOs are not just a way for me to get good gear.
Especially epic raid battles like in Final Fantasy XIV or King’s Fall and Wrath of the Machine from Destiny, which are loaded with mechanics, have been so much fun for me that I love to run them, even if I can no longer get a reward from them.
Puzzle-solving the mechanics of these raids represents another parallel to Sekiro for me. Good tricky mechanics create an additional layer of difficulty that does not feel artificial.

Which weapons have changed?
The Spitfire now deals 18 instead of 20 base damage. Additionally, magazine extensions provide less space for bullets. The developers want to slightly weaken the weapon. After all, it is one of the rarer weapons in Apex Legends and should therefore be strong.
The Wingman also receives smaller magazines with update 1.07. They want to ensure that the weapon is not too powerful in its base form.
The Havoc in Apex Legends
The Havoc receives a larger base magazine. Additionally, a few buffs to the charge beam, which will increase its damage. This is to make the Havoc more useful and allow it to keep up with weapons like the R-301.
Event for Battle Pass started
What kind of event is this? Currently, there is an event in Apex Legends with bonus XP for the Battle Pass. This event is active until April 18 at 7 PM.

NCSoft shut down the superhero MMORPG City of Heroes in late 2012. Since then, fans have been waiting for an (unofficial) successor. But that’s not necessary because City of Heroes can still be played on a private server for a long time. This was a closely guarded secret for a long time – now it has come to light.
What was City of Heroes? The MMORPG allowed you to create your own superhero or supervillain and then experience adventures in the city of Paragon City.
Fans particularly liked the character system with superpowers and the combat system, in which groups could act together.
The game was discontinued in December 2012. Fans have since wished for an MMO with a similar gaming experience. Therefore, many have pinned their hopes on the upcoming titles Ship of Heroes and City of Titans.
City of Heroes can still be played
The game is not actually dead? A Youtuber recently revealed that City of Heroes can still be played, but most fans knew nothing about it. The Youtuber Destroyer Stroyer explained in a video that he received a private invitation for SCORE (Secret Cabal Of Reverse Engineers) a few years ago.
SCORE is a fully functional private server for City of Heroes, on which it is even possible to revive the old heroes from the official version and simply continue playing. The server is said to have been in existence for six years.

The fans are angry
What is the problem? Actually, the fans of the MMORPG City of Heroes should be happy, but that is not the case. On the one hand, many are angry because the server was kept secret and it was believed that the City-of-Heroes community would stick together. However, only about 3,000 players received invitations.
Fan avoca says on Reddit: “I was lied to. It was said that City of Heroes was shut down. Today I found out that I was wrong about that.”
On the other hand, Destroyer Stroyer claims that a former developer of City of Heroes provided the people behind SCORE with the data of the former players. This also included private information such as payment details, addresses, and more. Among this data was also the player database, which is why it is possible to continue playing with your old heroes.

What do the server operators say? Leandro Pardini, a City-of-Heroes fan who is part of the SCORE team, explained the situation. According to him, the server had to be kept secret to prevent NCSoft from shutting it down. Because that happened with a private server of the discontinued MMORPG Tabula Rasa, in which he was also involved.
Furthermore, it is not true that SCORE possesses private player data. As far as the character data is concerned, a tool was developed before the MMORPG was shut down that allowed fans to save their characters offline.
Finally, a person contacted Leandro and handed over the entire database to him. However, this is said not to contain any personal data.
How can you play now? You still have to be personally invited by SCORE in order to play City of Heroes on the private server. You apparently get the invitation if you show that you are a big fan of the online game in forums like Reddit.
