In Pokémon GO, the Raid Day with Lapras starts next Saturday. During this event, the Pokémon will learn two exclusive moves. But how strong will it be with them?
These are the moves: Next Saturday, on May 25th, the Raid event with Lapras will run for 3 hours. A Lapras will be available to battle at almost every Gym.
During this time, Lapras will learn the moves Ice Shard and Ice Beam, two moves that it no longer typically knows. We will tell you here how strong Lapras will be with these moves.
How strong will Lapras be with Ice Shard and Ice Beam
How does Lapras learn the moves? Lapras can only master the Ice moves if you catch it from the raid within the 3 hours. You cannot teach the Pokémon these moves with TMs.
Lapras can learn 2 special moves from the raids. It can also be Shiny.
What kind of moves are they? Both moves have already been learned by Lapras in the past. After various changes, however, Lapras was unable to learn them anymore. Now they are making a return.
The moves in PvE: In raids and gyms, Ice Beam significantly improves Lapras’ attack. So overall, the moves are quite good.
The problem here is the large competition that is better than Lapras. So even with these moves, Lapras will not be a top Ice attacker. Here it has to give the role to Pokémon like Mamoswine or Snorunt.
The moves in PvP: Here, Lapras shines with its moves. The advantage of Lapras is its high stamina, which is crucial in PvP. Ice Beam charges quickly, allowing it to cause a lot of damage.
So if you enjoy participating in PvP tournaments, you should aim for a Lapras with the move combination.
Ice Beam is one of the moves on Raid Day
Is Lapras still worth it without moves? If you don’t consider the moves, then Lapras is mainly appealing for shiny hunters, as it is currently a very rare shiny.
Additionally, you can earn double experience points and stardust from the raids. So even without catching the Pokémon, it is worth participating in raids within the 3 hours.
Are you still looking for reasons to participate in the Lapras Day? Here are some:
The latest chapter add-on Elsweyr for The Elder Scrolls Online is now here. Additionally, there is a trailer showcasing powerful dragons scorching the poor cat beings of Elsweyr.
Is Elsweyr already here? Elsweyr is the third major chapter add-on for the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO). The large expansion along with the generally available Update 22 has been online since 3:00 PM on May 20, 2019. At least for PC players.
Console fans still have to wait until June 4, 2019, for the versions for Xbox One and PlayStation 4. On PC, you can now download the new chapter anytime.
With the release of Elsweyr, there is again an impressive trailer.
The trailer for the release of Elsweyr is not for cat lovers
This is what you can see in the trailer for Elsweyr: On the occasion of the launch of Elsweyr, there was a new trailer named Dragon Fury. This should be taken quite literally, as angry dragons swarm over the land of Elsweyr and scorch everything that comes in front of their scaly snouts.
Especially the poor Khajiit cat beings are completely surprised by the violence of the dragon attack and perish – along with their possessions and lands – in the dragon fire.

This is how you ideally start in Elsweyr: Once you have acquired a copy of Elsweyr, you can head into new adventures. How to best embark on the next chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online is explained in our comprehensive article on the Elsweyr launch.
With the upcoming release of WoW Classic, a few questions about World of Warcraft arose. The new Blizzard CEO J. Allen Brack provided answers to some of them in an interview.
This is what Brack says about Classic: The U.S. site VentureBeat conducted an interview with the new Blizzard CEO and WoW head J. Allen Brack. The question arose regarding how Classic fits into the pillars of the company. Brack had a clear answer:
It is part of World of Warcraft. It is no different than any other expansion or patch. We have this piece [Classic] that exists together with and as part of the “World of Warcraft” subscription. We definitely see it within the WoW universe.
The full interview with Brack in English can be found on VentureBeat.
J. Allen Brack – the new head at Blizzard.
Why is this response important? Since the announcement of Classic at BlizzCon 2017, there have been questions from the community about how Blizzard plans to support two MMORPGs. Many fans have always viewed WoW Retail and Classic as separate.
Just a few years ago, Brack warned players that they actually wouldn’t want WoW Classic, and this statement turned him into a hate figure at Blizzard. However, the new statement casts a different light on the development.
https://youtu.be/0Wrw3c2NjeE
Even today, many players are still divided into “Classic fans” and “new players” (sometimes referred to as “Generation WotLK”). However, this distinction does not seem to exist as concretely at Blizzard.
It appears that Classic will simply exist as part of World of Warcraft. However, Brack has not yet spoken in detail about whether there will be ongoing updates and how the two teams for Retail and Classic will work together.
What comes after Classic: So far, there are no concrete plans regarding what will happen after Classic and how the content will be expanded. Only that the Classic content will be released in phases, instead of all at once.
At the moment, Brack stated that the plan is to continue as before. One expansion every two years with three major content patches, like the upcoming Patch 8.2:
The dark humor in the side missions of Borderlands 3 has a reason. We reveal why it is particularly absurd there.
Borderlands 3 is the big co-op shooter that fans eagerly awaited in 2019. It stays true to its predecessors and only improves on minor details; the basic gameplay and the quirky humor remain the same. However, the particularly crude jokes, whether macabre, obscene, or openly offensive, mainly occur in the side missions.
What was said? In an interview with Gamesradar, level designer Katelyn Pitstick spoke about side quests and the humor used in the quests.
Compared to the main quests, which often follow the storyline and therefore must be mostly logical and built with a bit of seriousness, the side quests can be quirkier. Pitstick says:
“With side missions, it’s all more open; we can have a bit more fun with it. (…) There we incorporate the darker humor and the general irreverence for which our series is known.”
Humor should make the quests more attractive: One of the biggest points is that every quest should have a peculiarity that makes it memorable. This is mainly achieved through humor and the fact that something special happens during the quest.
“What encourages the player to interrupt the main quest and tackle these side missions, especially when they don’t seem that exciting at first glance? What is the surprise at the end? I want to lure them with a nice reward, but also draw them into the quest with something that happens in the story and makes them think, ‘Oh damn, I didn’t see that coming.'”
This is also only logical – the main quest doesn’t need these “high points” as much, since players will tackle it anyway, and the story provides enough motivation to continue playing.
Rewards emphasize the humor: This humor often also reflects in the rewards. There should often be weapons or items with special properties that refer to the respective quest line. Reminiscent of Borderlands 2, talking shields or weapons that shoot swords come to mind immediately.
Did you play all side missions in Borderlands 2 and will you also do so in Borderlands 3? Or do you prefer to rush through the main story and leave side missions aside?
In Fortnite: Battle Royale the rivalry between pros Tfue and Ninja has grown considerably. Because in the 6th qualifying weekend for the World Cup, neither of them held back, and in the end, neither won anything.
What did Ninja and Tfue do? Last weekend from May 18-19, 2019, the 6th qualifying round for the Fortnite World Cup in July took place. This time it was about the duo qualification. Thus, among others, the two pros Ninja and Tfue participated, each with a duo partner.
In over 10 rounds, the teams had to gather enough points to qualify for the World Cup in the “Duos” discipline. In the 6th match, the two rivals actually faced each other.
Tfue, probably the best Fortnite player in the world.
Ninja takes down Tfue
This is how the duel between Tfue and Ninja ended: During the round, Tfue ventured a bit too far from his self-built fortress. That was enough for Ninja.
Ninja had his beloved infantry rifle ready, and after three quick shots, Tfue was down. Then Tfue’s cover was blown away with dynamite and the defenseless player was finished off completely.

“That’s the damn Ninja!”, Tfue exclaimed in frustration when he realized who had just taken him down so masterfully. The commentators also found the scene remarkable.
How did the qualifying round end for the two? In the end, neither Ninja nor Tfue was successful. The two pros failed to qualify and will have to work hard in the coming weeks to qualify.
At least Tfue has already achieved a partial success. He qualified in the 3rd week for the solo mode and celebrated this quite exuberantly.

A developer of Battlefield 5 hints at something that apparently has to do with dinosaurs. And this is supposed to happen soon.
What do dinos have to do with Battlefield 5? At first glance, it sounds abstract that these ancient animals will soon be in the shooter Battlefield 5. However, looking closely at the developers’ hints, it seems almost inevitable that dinosaurs will become a part of Battlefield 5.
As Comicbook reports, there were hints of dinos in previous installments of the Battlefield series as well. Even though they have never been directly found in a game. There were Easter eggs with dino eggs. Battlefield and dinosaurs probably go together in some way.
What are the latest updates? The YouTuber Jackfrags shows in one of his videos that Niklas Astrand has been teasing the dinos repeatedly over the past few months. Astrand is a Senior Designer at developer DICE.
In March, Astrand shared a picture on Twitter that doesn’t seem particularly striking at first glance. However, when you zoom in closer, you can see something like a Pterodactyl in the sky – a flying dinosaur.

Later in March, Astrand shared a poll asking the community which Easter eggs, spin-offs or game modes they would like to see. The dinos won the poll.
At the end of April, the designer released a graphic related to the development of Battlefield 5. Again, not much is visible at first glance. However, when zooming in, blue dots can be seen. And they’re not there by accident.

A Twitter user discovered that this is Morse code and deciphered it to mean “Soon preround red flares.” These red flares are likely a reference to Jurassic Park.
On May 16, Astrand replied to a fan on Twitter with a Jurassic Park gif. The Easter egg shown in the image is not by Astrand. “What I made needs to wait a bit.” He hinted at something for the summer.

This is what people are speculating about now: The red flares were added with the last content update in the game. They could serve as a basis for something that is yet to be released. It is also possible that this is just trolling by the developer, who is having fun with the fans.
The raid of The Division 2 offers multiple phases with different mechanics and bosses. In this guide, you’ll learn how to complete the second phase.
This is the second phase of the raid: After you have taken down Boomer, the boss of the first phase, you will proceed to an airplane hangar. There, several bosses are waiting for you, coupled with a mechanic that requires coordination and timing.
Additionally, the 8 players are divided into two groups, which must initially act independently in order to complete the phase together at the end.
The 2nd phase of the raid – Kill Dizzy, Ricochet, and Weasel
This is how the 2nd phase unfolds: First, you enter the large room where the 2nd phase begins.
In the center is an airplane that divides the hangar in half. The team must split into two groups and position themselves on either side.
At the wheels of this airplane, there are three control screens on each side that can be activated.
To start the phase, the green-lit screen and its counterpart on the other side must be activated simultaneously. This requires coordination and timing.
It’s best to agree beforehand on how you determine the screens. MarcoStyle and his team oriented themselves by the front and back of the airplane.
This prevents misunderstandings and everyone knows which screen needs to be activated.
Once you’ve done this, the phase begins, and a boss spawns on each side, Dizzy and Ricochet.
This is what an active screen looks like. Source: YouTube
The bosses bring gas with them
This is how you kill the two bosses: The fight against Dizzy and Ricochet is not just a shootout. On each side, groups face several NPC enemies along with the bosses.
Additionally, a special gas flows out on each side, one orange and one purple.
While the orange gas makes you significantly more vulnerable to damage,
the purple gas reduces the damage you deal to almost 0.
The debuffs build up gradually as the gas leaks. Each can reach a value of up to 20.
If the debuff reaches this value, the gas also inflicts poison damage, which slowly reduces your armor. Now it gets tricky to take down the two bosses.
The orange gas significantly reduces your armor and makes you more vulnerable. Source: YouTube
This is how you win despite the debuffs: To withstand the bosses and the gas, you need to cooperate again and should take down the bosses simultaneously.
MarcoStyle and his team achieved this through a specific approach.
The team with the orange gas must nearly kill their boss. But leave him alive for now.
If you only kill one boss, you will face significantly more NPCs, as the center of the room opens up.
Instead, two players should head back to the screens at the airplane.
Again, one side will not have a screen active, only on one side will you see which screen is the right one.
As before, you must activate the active screen and the one directly opposite it at the same time. Once again the reminder: Agree beforehand on who goes to which screen and which one is meant. In combat, things need to be particularly quick.
If you’ve succeeded, the gas will be exchanged and the debuffs will be switched.
This does not happen immediately. The gases and debuffs will gradually decrease. They have to go from 20 to 0 before the new debuff can start building up.
This gives you a time window in which the other team can gradually deal normal damage. Use the time to also nearly kill the other boss.
If you manage that, the gas will switch again, and you’ll take down both bosses at the same time.
Now the airplane is raised and the path in the middle of the room is clear.
Once you’ve done this, you’ll face the last boss of the phase, Weasel. He can take a significantly greater amount of damage than the other two.
This is how you defeat the last boss: Now that the airplane is out of the way, all 8 players can fight against Weasel. Again, some enemy NPCs will spawn. You now have to take down the significantly tougher boss.
In addition, the gases mix, leading to both effects being able to occur.
Therefore, keep in mind: Once the damage debuff is fully charged, you will deal almost no damage for a short time.
This is how the debuffs work when both gases are active:
Even when both gases are active, only one debuff can take effect at a time. Therefore, they rotate through.
They charge from 0-20 and then gradually decrease again.
If the damage debuff is active, you deal virtually no damage. Therefore, you should wait and focus on survival until the debuff rotates out and becomes inactive again.
This shows the debuff and the corresponding countdown. Source: YouTube
Since the boss can take so much damage, you’ll need to go through this rhythm several times.
More useful tips:
During the fight, pay special attention to enemy snipers, as they can deal massive damage.
This is especially true when the debuff is active that makes you take significantly more damage.
If the poison damage from the gas is also a problem, equip gear with the “Hazard Protection” value.
This reduces all damage that does not come from firearms. Fire set bonuses like Gila Guard are suitable for this.
What rewards are there for completing the raid? You have the chance to get the new exotic assault rifle. How exactly you can get the Eagle Bearer, you can find out in our guide.
Additionally, there are three new gear sets that you can also receive as a reward.
If you have any further useful tips for the 2nd phase, feel free to write in the comments.
In Pokémon GO there is now the move Earth Power. This attack is quite powerful, but currently only the wrong Pokémon are learning it.
This is Earth Power: This move arrived in the game along with the new wave of Pokémon. It is a Charged Move and of Ground type.
So far, only a few Pokémon can learn the move. These are mainly Pokémon that are not particularly strong. This is frustrating, as Earth Power is a really strong move.
Earth Power in Pokémon GO – How good is the move
Which Pokémon can learn Earth Power? Niantic released a list of Pokémon that can now learn Earth Power through evolution or TM. Additionally, there are some Pokémon from the new wave:
Nidoking
Nidoqueen
Aerodactyl
Camerupt
Lepumentas
Gastrodon
Hippoterus
Aerodactyl is one of the Pokémon that can learn Earth Power
Does Earth Power strengthen these Pokémon? Yes, the new move will make all Pokémon better Ground attackers. Ultimately, the move is very strong.
This is the problem: While Earth Power makes the Pokémon better, there is a problem: Each of these Pokémon is actually a total weak Ground attacker.
The top Ground attackers remain the best of their kind. Unfortunately, they cannot learn this strong attack.
How Earth Power could strengthen Pokémon: If the top attackers ever manage to learn Earth Power, they would become significantly stronger.
If Libelldra and Knakrack could learn Earth Power, they would significantly improve.
Even a Libelldra would become one of the best attackers with Earth Power. If Knakrack could also learn the move, it would be the best Ground attacker in the game.
Could even more Pokémon learn the move soon? Many players hope for this. It is quite possible that Knacklion and Kaumalat will get a special Community Day.
There, their evolutions Libelldra and Knakrack could learn the powerful Ground move.
It remains to be seen whether more Pokémon can learn this strong attack. Earth Power would become useful because so far the move doesn’t really do much. The Pokémon that can master Earth Power are simply too weak.
With Gastrodon, a regional Pokémon can also learn the new move:
Cortyn is excited about the current adventure in Hearthstone. Why “The Big Heist” is so convincing is revealed by Cortyn in this article.
When Blizzard announced a few weeks ago that Hearthstone adventures would now have to be purchased again (either with gold or real money), I was admittedly very skeptical.
My first thought was that it surely had to be the “evil investors” responsible, who want to scrape even more profit from previously free content. And maybe that’s true. However, that does not change the fact that “The Big Heist” in Hearthstone was worth every euro and offers much more content than previous adventures.
A significantly better balance
The first thing I noticed while playing the two chapters of “The Big Heist” is the better balance.
In the adventure “The Nightmare Forest,” it was still the case that – depending on the character – you suddenly run into an almost insurmountable wall against bosses number 7 or 8. If all previous enemies were just fodder and were rolled over, the last two bosses were extremely tough, and if you had the wrong cards or treasures to choose from, you could basically give up right away.
The first battles are still very simple – the difficulty curve is successful.
This is not the case with “The Big Heist.” It feels like a real curve that gradually increases from opponent to opponent. The first three battles are in most cases “given” and can only be lost with very bad luck. After that, the level of difficulty steadily increases.
Even after the 20th run, some of which I have not completed successfully, I never had the impression that it suddenly became “unfair.” The matches were always exciting, and the feeling of complete helplessness, as I often felt in the other “Dungeon” expansions, is completely absent here.
Meaningful innovations and more atmosphere
The Big Heist expands the well-known dungeon principle with meaningful innovations. Above all, the regular tavern visits are a highlight. Here you can adjust your deck in different ways.
Unwanted cards can be removed
New minions can be recruited
Existing minions can be copied or enhanced
The cost of cards can be permanently reduced
You can determine which minion should always be in your starting hand
This is not done through a boring menu, but through a “combat” encounter with the tavern keeper, during which you can play special effects that the tavern keeper then comments on.
“Bob the Brewmaster”
The battles in the various locations of Dalaran are also extremely fitting. Anyone who is a long-time fan of World of Warcraft will recognize many characters and think, “Oh, that’s the barber I always went to!” or “That’s the quest giver for the Violet Hold.” These little moments are wonderful and are only enhanced by the various remarks of the characters.
When the barbers with their scissors in hand say that I should “not cause them any trouble,” I have to smile. When Moon Priestess Nici shouts slightly altered quotes from “Sailor Moon” and the “Power of the Moon” in the best excited anime girl voice, my smile gets even wider.
A librarian “as you would expect” – The dad jokes are back.
Basically, the “flair” of the Dalaran expansion, although it is a casual, silly villain adventure, is quite intense. The atmosphere is incredibly fitting, and the voice lines of the characters are (even in German) simply grand, the wit is brilliant.
More content than ever before
Especially cool is that the amount of content increases almost exponentially. With each week that brings new chapters of the adventure, there are not only the respective chapter but also new heroes with which you can play the old chapters again.
As a small calculation example of how the number of playable content increases:
If you only own the first, free chapter, you only have one hero and just the first chapter. You can thus play the first chapter in normal and heroic mode with one hero. The number of “different” dungeon runs is thus 2.
Anyone who owns the first two chapters already has three heroes to choose from and two chapters. They can thus play the first two chapters with three heroes at two difficulty levels. This results in 2 (chapters) x 3 (heroes) x 2 (Heroic/Normal) = 12 “different” runs!
However, if someone owns all 5 chapters, they have a lot of content ahead of them if they (like me) enjoy playing things “completely.” That means you have 9 (heroes) x 5 (chapters) x 2 (Heroic/Normal) runs ahead of you – that’s a whopping 90. And that’s the minimum value if you are immediately successful in each run, which is likely not the case, especially in heroic mode.
Hero abilities and new decks must also be unlocked through certain “achievements.” This is usually accomplished “along the way” while playing normally but can also take some time.
New hero abilities are only unlocked, but they entice with variety.
Even if you achieve all of this, you can still add the “anomaly” mode to activate a new passive effect in the current run that changes the game again.
And on top of all that, every dungeon run is slightly different from the previous one due to various treasures, different bosses, and other random factors.
No matter how you look at it: for €20, “The Big Heist” offers a lot if you enjoy solo content that isn’t necessarily rewarded with card packs. Only those who seek pure “value” in the form of new cards for their collection will likely be disappointed.
9 henchmen provide a lot of variety.
Conclusion – The best solo content since the release of Hearthstone
For a long, long time, it has been a while since I played Hearthstone not just as a “filler” when I want to bridge some time and I’m bored. I’m really looking forward to Hearthstone and am deliberately making time for it – and much more than I thought before.
For me, “The Big Heist” is already the best Hearthstone innovation in 2019. If the upcoming expansions are similarly extensive and interesting, I am happy to spend money again.
How do you like the current Hearthstone expansion and especially the solo content? Have your expectations been met? Or have you not tried it yet?
Our author Schuhmann has also played the new adventure – what he thinks about it, you can find out here:
The online RPG Anthem has reached a status where fans are now speculating whether EA should offer it for free. The Free2Play rumors come from a small blog and are being discussed. We take a closer look at this.
Where does the information come from? The information has been circulating for about a week and comes from the site “mmogfails“, a blog. It states that the information was obtained from a source within EA. The author of the blog does not provide further details.
The blog features only a few articles; in 2018, there was only one entry.
The author of the blog says he has received angry comments up to death threats for the news, even though he does not earn any money from the blog and only wants to highlight the difficulties the gaming industry faces, especially regarding MMOs.
Therefore, the blogger writes about what he hears from the gaming industry and throws in a few sarcastic remarks.
“Free2Play” transition for Anthem possible if hype fails to materialize
This is allegedly what the source at EA says: From the source at EA, there were not only news about the Free2Play transition, but also an analysis of the general situation at BioWare and EA.
BioWare did not expect the heavy criticism and believes that the poor mood of players is now causing Anthem to no longer sell well
If that does not work and brings too little boost, they are considering a switch to a Free2Play model. It is said: “A Free2Play transition is definitely still on the table,” meaning it is being discussed.
BioWare is currently working feverishly on comfort improvements and new content. However, that will take some time.
Next, a stat screen is to come that tells players at a glance what stats their Javelin has
Secret info or good guess?
Is there any truth to it? It is hard to say whether this information truly comes from an insider source at BioWare or if it is just a good guess:
The general assessment of the situation, that Anthem initially sold well but not anymore – is quite plausible. This aligns with the information we have from market research institutions.
That EA is sticking with the game and continues to support it because it fills a gap is absolutely credible. This type of game (Destiny, Division, GTA 5 Online) has previously raked in a lot of money – and EA has nothing else there.
That Anthem is already coming to EA Access – alongside games from 2018 such as Battlefield 5 and A Way Out – is a bit early; perhaps they should take more time. Normally, games appear in EA Access only after 12 months, and Battlefield 5 would actually be too soon.
A Free2Play transition, if the hype fails to materialize, as a last resort, is the least likely alternative mentioned in the blog post – it would definitely be too early and would likely cause more harm than good right now.
What would a Free2Play transition bring for Anthem? Ultimately, a Free2Play transition would likely make people angrier who have paid good money for the game. They would feel cheated for their money.
Furthermore, it is unclear how Anthem would be financed in the long term without paid content updates. In that case, microtransactions would have to become significantly stronger.
If Anthem really switches to Free2Play, it will probably be at the end of a longer process, after the game has been overhauled – one should not expect the transition to happen too soon.
Perhaps not until spring 2020 – if they really take this path. BioWare had good experiences with the Free2Play transition for Star Wars: The Old Republic, but that was a long time ago. It is unclear how a Free2Play transition could help Anthem at the moment.
Red Dead Online is currently back in the spotlight for many cowboys, but they are experiencing significant crashes in the game. Rockstar has so far only provided a solution for a few.
Here is the current status: A few days ago, Red Dead Online received a massive update, which brought poker into the game. Fans want to play again, but numerous crashes are preventing some cowboys from doing so.
Reports indicate that the game crashes multiple times within a few minutes.
Crashes in Red Dead Online – What can be done?
Reports of these crashes: Various online forums are filled with complaints: Red Dead Online has been crashing more frequently since the latest update. However, not all players are affected, as the update has been well received by many.
The latest update finally brought poker – but also some crashes
That makes the disappointment for the affected cowboys even greater: “The most annoying thing is hearing how everyone has a great time with this update while I can’t enjoy the game for more than 5 minutes without crashing,” writes “nasty_nater” on Reddit.
“TheSaintz69” writes: “Very disappointing and frustrating with the online mode. I play for about 10 minutes and the game crashes. It’s frustrating when you spend time collecting pelts only to have a crash and lose all your hard work every time!”
What is the problem? This is exactly the crux of the matter. No one really knows why some players are massively affected by crashes while others can play without any issues.
What does Rockstar advise? Numerous players have contacted Rockstar’s support after experiencing crashes. They received a quick response, but it has helped only a few cowboys.
Many players are frustrated by the numerous crashes
They suggest clearing the game’s cache files. To do this, you need to restart the console. If you are playing on PlayStation, you must also press the L1 and R1 buttons simultaneously when restarting the game.
However, very few players report that this tip helped. For the other cowboys, the problems persist. Their game crashes just as often.
It seems that Rockstar themselves don’t really know the solution to the problem. It remains to be seen whether an upcoming update will fix the crashes.
The update has changed a lot about the graphics. So Red Dead Redemption 2 now looks much better:
In Fortnite: Battle Royale you can now find Fortbyte number 07. To do so, you need a specific emote called “Cuddle Up” and a stone umbrella.
Where is the Fortbyte? The 7th Fortbyte is not hard to find. You just need to visit the quarry shaped like a large umbrella. It is already well visible from the air. Just check the map at coordinates E2/3. The byte should be there, but it is still transparent and not collectible.
Here’s how you can collect the Fortbyte: The solution to the riddle is an emote called “Cuddle Up”. It features the infamous Fortnite Cuddle Team Leader, which you receive when you reach level 8 in the Season 9 Battle Pass. You can even get the emote in the free Battle Pass.
Just stand in front of the Fortbyte and activate the emote from the radial menu. Then you can collect the Fortbyte as usual and get a step closer to solving the big riddle.
Here is the Fortbyte.
But be careful that no one ambushes you while you’re searching and emoting. There are plenty of other players who are also after the byte or are out for easy kills. So explore the area first before you hunt for the byte.
Is there a video as well? If you want to see the location of the Fortbytes in video format, you will find it here. We have embedded a YouTube video here, enjoy the search! By the way, don’t be surprised that the byte itself doesn’t appear in the video. The clip was created in advance due to leaks. But the byte is definitely at the location shown in the video.

What are Fortbytes and how do you collect them all? Fortbytes are several electronic puzzle pieces that you can collect throughout Season 9. There are 100 of them, and a new byte appears in the game every day.
In the end, you can use the bytes to unlock the new, still secret bonus skin of Season 9. However, you need a total of 90 out of the 100 possible Fortbytes.
We have compiled an overview of all the Fortbytes available in the game so far:
Path of Exile has revealed some numbers showing which of the “sub-classes” are currently particularly popular. It is evident that three of the Ascendancies are the undisputed top in almost all areas.
Why “Classes”? Path of Exile actually offers players only seven different classes to choose from:
Duelist (Duelist)
Shadow (Shadow)
Marauder (Marauder)
Witch (Witch)
Ranger (Ranger)
Templar (Templar)
Scion (Scion)
These classes each have three further classes, called “Ascendancies”, to which they can ascend (with the exception of the Scion). Each Ascendancy has its own skill tree and plays differently.
The skill tree of the Occultist.
These are the most popular classes in Path of Exile
These Ascendancies are played: In an official post from Path of Exile, the developers provided insight into the player numbers. They showed which Ascendancies are most represented in each area.
It became very clear that in the “Synthesis League”, the following Ascendancies dominate at all levels up to over level 90:
Trickster (Shadow Ascendancy)
Occultist (Witch Ascendancy)
Elementalist (Witch Ascendancy)
In most leagues, these three Ascendancies already account for nearly 50% of all characters. In the “Synthesis SSF” category over level 90 (stands for “Solo Self-Found”, meaning a game without the possibility to trade or form groups), they even reach nearly 70%.
These numbers apply to the “Synthesis League,” the current challenge season of Path of Exile. The only exceptions are the PS4, where Path of Exile is playable since recently, and the Synthesis Hardcore League over level 90.
On the PS4, the Occultist is not in the top 3, but the Necromancer is. In Hardcore mode above level 90, the Juggernaut replaces the Elementalist.
Additionally, the lists for the “Flashbacks” differ, an event where certain mechanics from past seasons are revived and essentially create your own dungeons.
The Necromancer beats the Occultist on the PS4.
What makes the Ascendancies so strong? Path of Exile also provides a brief explanation of why these classes are so powerful. The Ascendancies have the ability to sustain themselves quite well while dealing significant damage.
Only the Elementalist lacks self-sustain, which makes the Juggernaut at least more popular in Hardcore mode. Generally, these are important skills that players need to face increasingly stronger opponents.
All classes are also spellcasting classes, which tend to be somewhat less risky to play than the currently less popular melee fighters:
WoW Classic can even have an impact on Battle for Azeroth. At least for Hunters, that’s good news.
When World of Warcraft Classic was announced, many players were concerned that the classic version could be altered to be more like the current WoW. However, that does not seem to be the case, but rather the opposite. Game Director Ion Hazzikostas recently explained in an interview how Classic could even help bring back a popular ability for Hunters in “Battle for Azeroth”: Eyes of the Beast.
What were Eyes of the Beast? Eyes of the Beast was an ability that could be channeled for a long time. During this time, the Hunter could not move themselves but instead control their companion directly. This was a popular practice in some dungeon groups to pull enemies, but role-players also loved being able to command their beast directly. Overall, many Hunters felt a stronger connection with their pet when they could control it directly.
Why was the ability removed? With Patch 4.0, which was meant to usher in the age of Cataclysm, several abilities from various classes were removed. The idea was to remove more “useless” abilities that were not used in combat anyway – Eyes of the Beast definitely fell into that category.
Classic could bring salvation: With the release of Classic, Blizzard had to re-develop the code for Eyes of the Beast. Hazzikostas indicated in an interview that this could also be reintroduced in the live version of WoW. He stated:
“We removed the Hunter ability ‘Eyes of the Beast’ and as a result of several code adjustments, it was virtually impossible to restore the ability in modern WoW – it would have been a massive amount of work. Now, to create Classic, we had to do most of that work.
There are still some bugs to fix, but thanks to the work we’ve done on ‘Eyes of the Beast’ to realize it, there’s no reason we shouldn’t also give Hunters that ability back in Battle for Azeroth.”
A confirmation is certainly not that yet, but just bringing up the possibility sounds optimistic.
Players were outraged back then: However, Blizzard did not anticipate the amount of negative feedback that this decision would generate. Many Hunters were angry and demanded the ability be restored. For many, it was one of the core features of the Hunters and even if it had no great use in combat, it was still a cool spell that defined the Hunters.
Code was irretrievably lost: Blizzard, however, stated back then that Eyes of the Beast could not simply be restored. The code for it was lost with the restructuring of some internal game structures – irretrievably. Although they wanted to take the feedback to heart, the ability could not be restored for that reason.
Would you be happy about the return of Eyes of the Beast? Or is it good that the ability is no longer present in the current WoW?
In Pokémon GO there are new offer boxes again! We will tell you what’s inside and whether the offers are worth it for the raid week.
Since the weekend, there are new offer boxes in Pokémon GO. They are mainly aimed at the upcoming raid week, which starts tomorrow evening.
We will show you what’s in the boxes and tell you whether a purchase is worthwhile.
What’s in the offer boxes for the raid week
This is how the calculation was done: To determine the savings, the price of the respective items from an 8-item bundle was used. This was then compared with the price in the offer box.
20x Raid Pass, 4x Super Egg Incubator, 4x Lure Module, 5x Star Piece
1480/1822 (55%)
Adventure Box
13x Super Egg Incubator, 4x Egg Incubator, 5x Star Piece, 4x Lure Module
1480/2370 (62%)
This is what the boxes are for: Except for the Adventure Box, everything this time is geared towards Raid Passes. This fits the upcoming raid week, as you can use the passes directly.
How worthwhile the offer boxes are
The Special Box
Special Box: The Special Box is a real highlight for free-to-play players. Those who do not want to spend many coins get solid items here and save 40%. It’s worth it.
The Super Box
Super Box: The focus here is mainly on the Raid Passes. Considering that the 6 Raid Passes alone cost 600 coins, you almost get the remaining items for free.
The Hyper Box
Hyper Box: The Hyper Box is a real highlight for all Raiders. 20 Raid Passes in one box is excellent. Anyone planning to invest numerous passes in the raid week should take this deal.
The Adventure Box
Adventure Box: The Adventure Box is once again aimed at players who do not want to raid much. There are no Raid Passes, but mainly Egg Incubators. The offer is decent, but other events had better boxes for Egg Incubators.
In The Elder Scrolls Online has launched the new chapter expansion Elsweyr for PC players. Find out here what you need to know about the next major chapter for ESO.
Before Elsweyr gets underway for PC players, you should read the following information we have compiled for you.
1 – What time does it start?
At what time does Elsweyr start? Since 3:00 PM, the servers are back online, you just need to download the major update for Elsweyr and Update 22.
When will Elsweyr be available on PS4 and Xbox One? Unfortunately, console players will only be able to venture into Elsweyr starting on June 4.
2 – What editions of Elsweyr are available?
What does Elsweyr cost? Elsweyr is not free; rather, you need to purchase it to travel to the land of the Khajiit and hunt dragons. There are different editions available:
Digital Upgrade: 39.99 Euro – Expands your existing ESO with Elsweyr
Digital Collector’s Edition Upgrade: 49.99 Euro – Here, you also get the goodies of the Collector’s Edition
Digital Standard Edition: 59.99 Euro – If you do not have the base game or the add-ons Morrowind and Summerset, then you should buy this complete package.
Digital Collector’s Edition: 79.99 Euro – Like the Standard Edition, only with additional goodies.
This time, there are no physical editions to purchase. You can only acquire Elsweyr digitally.
What is included in the Collector’s Editions? The Collector’s Editions each contain:
Senche-Rath mount
Springhare pet
Emote pack for Khajiit
Style: Dragonbone
Archaic Knowledge Tablets as a souvenir item
3 – How to reach the new area
How do I get to Elsweyr? To optimally start the story of Elsweyr, you can start the prologue quest since March 25, 2019. You start this quest by purchasing the “Sealed Imperial Summons” in the Crown Store under the “Quests” tab.
This is free and does not require the purchase or pre-ordering of Elsweyr or other DLCs.
The prologue quest will optimally guide you into the story of Elsweyr, the dragons, and the imperial occupation of the lands of the Khajiit. Once Elsweyr is here, you can get there as follows:
Use the way shrine in Krempen by teleporting there
From which level can I go to Elsweyr? It doesn’t matter. Like all regions in ESO, Elsweyr is part of One Tamriel. This means you can explore every area at any level. The game scales your level according to the area.
Therefore, you can explore the new land as a fresh level 1 hero just as well as a high-end veteran with hundreds of Champion Points.
Can I also start fresh with a new hero in Elsweyr? That works smoothly too. If you create a new hero, he or she will automatically start in Elsweyr and experience the tutorial there.
4 – What you need to know about the new class Necromancer
Can I play the Necromancer right away? You can also create a new character as a Necromancer immediately. However, you need to have purchased Elsweyr for this. Without the expansion, the Necro is not available.
Can I transform my main character into a Necromancer? Unfortunately not, your existing heroes cannot change their class retroactively. Zenimax will likely offer such a feature at some point.
As long as this is not the case, you will have to level up a new character as a Necro.
5 – The most important contents of Elsweyr
What is new in Elsweyr? Like all ESO expansions, Elsweyr brings a lot of story and new quests and challenges. The following features are new to the game:
Guild Finder Feature: This feature is available to every player, even if you do not buy Elsweyr. In short, this new feature allows you to actively promote your guild and find guilds that meet your requirements.
Dragons as World Events: The base game had anchors and in Summerset, geysers were available as world events. In Elsweyr, it’s all a bit cooler, because dragons fly around and cause chaos in the land. If you catch such a creature, you should have a few friends with you and challenge the beast. An epic battle with cool loot awaits.
New Raid Sunspire: A highlight for players on the test server was the new raid Sunspire. Here you can expect a large instance, where several unique dragon bosses await. The raid offers a complete instance with plenty of content and new, unique loot.
Are you already prepared for the new chapter Elsweyr?
The beta of WoW Classic has only been running for a few days, but fans are already showing their dedication to the MMORPG classic. Only a few can play already, many want to, and they are expressing their desire for vanilla with ambitious works.
While there are many complaints about not being selected for the beta, some fans are also using the time for creative contributions. Like the user MightyIceFoe, who has put in a lot of effort.
He illustrated the character creation of his undead warrior Icefoe in Paint or a similar program in great detail, including class and race selection, info boxes, and logo. So far (as of May 20 at 11:40 AM), it has received over 2200 upvotes.

This is how people are celebrating Classic: MightIceFoe is not the only one apparently eagerly waiting for Classic. More and more memes are appearing in which players are mocking both overly ambitious Classic enthusiasts and Classic opponents.
Recently, Omar Gonzales has become particularly popular, who according to an interview with Ion Hazzikostas is credited with making Classic possible in this way. (via wowhead)

Why does everyone want to play Classic? Classic is for many players the beginning of their journey in World of Warcraft and they want to relive the nostalgia. Currently, access to the beta is highly limited.
MMORPGs and MMOs have been with us for many years. But what was actually the first game that really established this genre? There are quite a few answers to that.
What are MMOs and MMORPGs anyway? Basically, one can say that an MMO is an online multiplayer game in which a very large number of players can participate and interact with each other online – irrespective of the genre, such as role-playing or shooter.
MMORPGs refer to massive online role-playing games. Normally, you act together with hundreds or thousands of players in the virtual worlds. That’s why the abbreviation MMORPG stands for “Massively Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game”.

Maze Runner was probably the first multiplayer game ever.
The first MMOs were based on text
When did MMOs emerge? The development of massively multiplayer games goes back to the 1960s when students used the teaching and learning system “PLATO” at the University of Illinois to pass the time with the communication tool via chat.
In 1973, the multiplayer game Maze War was released, created by programmers at NASA. Players chased each other through a maze that was created from vector graphics. Essentially, you only saw lines that defined the corridors, and players were represented as “eyes”.
MUDs formed the beginning of MMORPGs.
In 1978, the game MUD (Multi User Dungeon) followed, programmed by Roy Trubshaw, a student at the Essex University in England. The idea was to shift the then-popular text adventures like Zork into a multiplayer environment. Instead of seeing graphics, players navigated through the dungeon by text. Many more games built upon this.
More about the nostalgia of old-school MMORPGs can be found here:
Here were the first commercial multiplayer RPGs: In 1985, the online game Island of Kesmai was released. It utilized the MUD principle and introduced rudimentary graphics based on ASCII characters. Six players could experience a D&D-like adventure together. The game cost $6 per hour over the CompuServe service.
Habitat was the first truly graphical online game. It was developed by LucasArts.
A “real graphic” was to be introduced by LucasArts online adventure Habitat. However, the title was never really released. In 1986 there was only a first beta test. Habitat offered social gameplay, represented by a 2D graphic that was modeled after the LucasArts adventures of the 1980s, such as Maniac Mansion.
In 1991, Neverwinter Nights was released. An online role-playing game based on the then-popular RPGs of the SSI Gold Box games (Pool of Radiance). For Neverwinter Nights, $6 per hour had to be paid over AOL. A similar vein was struck by The Shadow of Yserbius, also released in 1991.

This is what Neverwinter Nights looked like, one of the first graphical MMORPGs.
In 1996, Meridian 59 was released, an MMORPG that already had all the essential features of today’s online role-playing games, but was not yet referred to as an MMORPG. It placed players in a 3D world populated by 2D characters.
In January 1997, the online role-playing game Tibia was released. The RPG developed by students Stephan Börzsönyi, Guido Lübke, Ulrich Schlott, and Stephan Vogler is still playable today and has a very active community.
Ultima Online was the first MMORPG that was referred to as such.
Ultima Online offered the opportunity to experience free role-playing in a graphical environment. Players developed their heroes based on skills, explored a vast land, and could learn professions such as crafting or fishing.
From here, the genre evolved through Everquest and World of Warcraft to today.
So what was the first MMO and MMORPG? The question is not easy to answer as many factors played a role in the development.
If you really go back, you would have to call Maze War the beginning of the MMOs.
If you take the first commercial role-playing game for “larger” player numbers and look for the first “in principle MMORPG”, then this would probably be Island of Kesmai.
However, if you refer to the term MMORPG, then it was Ultima Online since no other online game was referred to as such before.
As you can see, it was a development that stretched over several decades and in which each subsequent “generation” built upon the previous one. Thus, the MMORPGs we know today developed.
Although there were already role-playing games that could be played online before Ultima Online, such as Meridian59 and Tibia, these were officially not called MMORPGs at that time. This term was only applied to them later.
In The Division 2 there have been discussions about the difficulty level surrounding the new raid. Many agents on the consoles PS4 and Xbox One find the raid too hard. Now fans have identified a possible reason.
What is the problem with the NPCs? Many players are currently reporting that the enemies in The Division 2 behave strangely. This is not the first time such problems have been discussed.
Enemies are behaving much more aggressively, like they did before the actual fix. This even affects enemy types like snipers, who should generally stay at greater distances.
The movements of the enemies are reportedly much more aggressive, faster, and unpredictable than before. They ignore incoming fire and charge towards players regardless of their own behavior.
Additionally, enemies are said to be tougher than before the update, although the patch notes state they should have been weakened.
They are also said to deal increased damage again, despite adjustments made in previous updates.
VelvetThunder writes: “They [NPCs] were smart and punished you when you made a mistake. Now they seem random and either rush at you and open fire blindly after looking for cover for a few seconds and running in circles […].”
Many criticize the suicidal and dumb behavior of the enemies. Especially in the raid, which is designed for 8 players, the problems become even more apparent.
How could the problem be solved? If the assumptions of some players are correct, Massive just needs to bring back the changes that should already be in the game.
In general, most wish for the enemy AI to behave more tactically again and not rush headlong into open fire. Overall, the AI should function more like it did at release.
But how do you see it? Do you agree with the criticism? Or do you think the AI is just right? Write in the comments.
In Destiny 2, there is excitement about a major nerf to exotic weapons before Season 7. Author Schuhmann states: This is because Bungie is foregoing an item reset. This results in an insane number of weapons – but there is a price that Guardians now have to pay.
What is an item reset? An “item reset” in loot games refers to the need to exchange items with a new expansion – usually this is a “soft reset”: players keep the old weapons, but they are no longer as powerful as before.
There is also a “hard reset”: Players experienced this at the start of Destiny 2 when all items from Destiny 1 were gone and they had to start all over again.
Ghaul and the Cabal took away all items from players in Destiny 2.
This is how an item reset works in World of Warcraft: With a new expansion in the MMORPG World of Warcraft, players level up to new tiers and all their “super gear” from the previous expansion becomes too weak. Players swap it out.
First, the super hard-earned weapons and armor are replaced by trivial quest rewards found on the way to the new max level, later by better items. After a maximum of 2 years, this repeats itself with the next expansion.
This is how it is without an item reset in Destiny 2: In Destiny 2, there is no item reset because you can carry over items from one expansion to the next.
Through a game mechanic, it is possible to bring the old weapons and armor up to the new max level. This is called “infusing.” Or you simply find old items again, now with the new maximum level.
This was a shock for many players who were new to loot shooters. They had worked for months for their gear, especially for the raid armor, and was this now no longer the best in the game? For some, this was a sacrilege back then.
Now, this is no longer the case in Destiny 2, and players can still use exotic or other items they found at the end of 2017.
If someone chose their favorite weapon in September 2017, they can still play with it in May 2019 – such as the Vestian Dynasty.
Bungie at the same point as with House of Wolves four years ago
This is the problem: If there is no item reset, it leads to what is called “power creep.”
In order to motivate players to want new items, the “new items” must be stronger than the items Guardians already have; otherwise, players have no motivation to seek the new items.
This happened in the second DLC of Destiny, “House of Wolves,” where players could keep their “old, strong” items and had no need for new items.
Players suddenly ran around in House of Wolves with weapons like the Fatebringer, which they had extensively played in Vanilla Destiny 1.
That was the picture back then: You can upgrade the Fatebringer.
But how could Destiny in May 2015 introduce a weapon that was so strong that players would leave their beloved Fatebringer in the vault? Such a super weapon would trivialize everything in Destiny.
Four years later, in June 2019, Bungie faces this issue again; they say: They cannot introduce weapons stronger than the currently strongest ones with Season 7, so they must weaken the currently best weapons.
But ultimately, the situation seems to be unsolvable for Bungie. If there is no item reset for over 2 years and we are now going into the 6th expansion of Destiny 2, the item pool continues to swell.
Finding a solution here is becoming increasingly difficult for Bungie.
Players demand that Bungie should redesign bosses and make them more challenging. But this is likely too much to ask for a mini-expansion like Season 7.
Whisper of the Worm: Can no longer create Power ammo from nothing.
This is what it is about: Apparently, Bungie wants to provide players with a wide arsenal of weapons and not take any weapons out of the game. However, this leads to the problems described.
Players must be promised “new strong items” as rewards; otherwise, you end up in the “House of Wolves” situation where players lack the motivation to engage with the new content.
Ultimately, Bungie has 3 options:
either an item reset: Take away the players’ “old toys” by making it impossible to level them to the maximum level
or a nerf of the “strongest weapon” to make room for new ones
or introduce even stronger weapons and then have a power creep that removes every challenge from the game
After Bungie has already tried several alternatives and failed, they are now choosing a nerf, even if it contradicts previous statements.
They certainly know this in Seattle, but will have to accept it with gritted teeth. Here, a price is being paid for infusing, a 5-year-old idea.
