BioWare has announced the launch of the test server for the PC version of Anthem. But before players have played the Cataclysm themselves, they’re already cracking jokes. Moreover, they find it incomprehensible why the PTS is launching today while many other games are receiving new content.
What is the PTS? Already at the end of April, BioWare announced a test server. On it, players can test new content for Anthem before its release and provide their feedback on it.
The Public Test Server, PTS, is now open for PC players of Anthem starting today (June 4) at 5 PM. It doesn’t matter whether you own the game or are a subscriber of Origin Access Premier. You can find the test server in your Origin library.
However, there is no PTS for console players on PS4 and Xbox One.

What is the mood of the players? The mood in the Anthem subreddit is currently not very good. After the BioWare livestream about the Cataclysm, some players already mentioned that the content is not what the developers actually promised. The fact that the entire event seems to take place on a separate map and does not affect free play is particularly troubling for the players.
Also, the errors and bugs that still exist in the game are challenging the freelancers. However, jokes are already being made that these might be the first signs of the Cataclysm.

Players are also concerned about how testing will work in Anthem. The description states that freelancers cannot bring their current Javelin or equipment to the PTS and cannot transfer items from the test server to the normal servers.
Players now hope that this does not mean they will have to farm gear to test the Cataclysm.
Pokémon GO is currently struggling significantly with Adventure Sync. This is mainly reported by Apple users. Especially shortly before Adventure Week, these problems are severe.
What kind of problems are there? The steps and kilometers in Adventure Sync are not being counted correctly in some cases. This means that some players may walk over 50 kilometers, but are credited with significantly fewer kilometers.
Which players are affected? Mainly, players with Apple devices are complaining about Adventure Sync. It seems that the biggest problems exist there. However, there are also some Android players experiencing issues.
Adventure Sync can reward you handsomely. Currently, though, there are problems.
Are there solutions for this? There is no general solution to the problem. It is advised to completely uninstall and redownload Pokémon GO. This has helped some players.
Other players report that their Adventure Sync was simply turned off in the game’s settings. So also make sure that everything is activated there and cooperates with the appropriate fitness app. You can find a detailed guide for that here:
What does Niantic say about the problems? On Twitter, Pokémon GO developer Niantic has already commented on the issues. They say that the next update, which is currently being rolled out, should resolve the problems. However, there has not yet been any confirmation from players regarding this.

First videos with official gameplay of “Minecraft Earth” have surfaced. Apparently, they haven’t overpromised.
When Minecraft Earth was announced a few weeks ago, there were many different opinions. There were concerns that AR games just weren’t advanced enough to run on a smartphone at a reasonable quality to create the true Minecraft feeling. Now, first videos with live gameplay have been released and should convince many players.
At Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference, live gameplay of Minecraft Earth was presented for the first time. The two developers can be seen building a small castle and bringing it to life.

Player interaction seems promising: What is particularly impressive is how smoothly the interaction between players works. The game recognizes in real-time where other players are on the screen, what blocks they are carrying, and what they are currently working on. This allows players to indeed work on projects together or engage in a bit of mischief.
Especially cool is that Minecraft Earth is supposed to even recognize players’ movements and transfer them to the avatars. For example, if the player waves clearly, the avatar in the game world waves as well.
Explosions and functioning devices included: The developers also show a bit of chaos and demonstrate that devices like switches, which trigger certain events, work in Minecraft Earth as well. They blow up the front yard, revealing tunnels in the process. Animals, like ducks, react just like in the “normal” version of the game, coming to players holding seed packets.
How can you join? Minecraft Earth is not yet accessible to players. However, those who wish can already register for the beta and, with a bit of luck, participate in the test this summer. We have explained how to do this here.

The Asia MMORPG Blade & Soul from NCSoft is getting a major expansion in June. In addition to announced new features such as continuing the story, the update also brings a curiosity.

However, not everyone is completely thrilled. Some fear a strong grind, others worry about Pay2Win.
This is how fishing works: Based on previous experiences in Korea, fishing is just a small new feature that has not been monetized and is supposed to bring players gold.
After completing Act 10 of the story, you will receive a quest and at the end of it bait, which can then be repurchased for in-game currency.
However, fishing will not make you rich. User marjo1244 calculated four months ago that you can catch only about 21 Elysian Orbs, a crafting material, in nearly 2 hours.
The Future of Blade & Soul
What else is happening in Blade & Soul? Further changes are already announced for the year 2019. A new class, the Archer, will likely be released in the West in September. This class is already coming to Korea this month.
Many players are also waiting for the announced engine update, which is also expected to be released in 2019.

What has the developer Smilegate done? A few weeks ago, the developers of the MMORPG Lost Ark released an update that introduced a new feature to the game.
Players can now instantly complete any raid in the raid menu thanks to the “Instant” button. However, they must pay a certain amount of the microtransaction currency for this.
The developers justified these changes by stating that they want to offer newer players the option to quickly catch up with their friends and reduce the grind in the game.
How exactly does the “Instant” system work? These types of “Instant” buttons are not new in Lost Ark. Many other features of the MMORPG also have the option to reduce the grind by spending certain amounts of the microtransaction currency.
They are blue gems that can be obtained in two different ways:
You buy them directly for real money in the cash shop
You farm a lot of gold in the game and buy the gems from another player who purchased them for real money in the cash shop
In Lost Ark, you can use these gems to immediately complete various tasks, thus saving yourself the grind. This includes daily or weekly quests.
This is how the “Instant” system works in raids: The raids in Lost Ark are divided into five different difficulty levels. The quality of the loot increases accordingly with the level.
With the new “Instant” button, all raids can now be completed at the push of a button without having to actually run them and fight the bosses. You also receive loot as usual.
Of the five levels of raids, only the last one is really interesting for endgame, as this is where you receive the best accessories for your character.
However, since the stats on the loot in Lost Ark are randomly generated, you are forced to run this raid over and over until you receive your desired items.
For each “raid attempt” at level 5, you must pay 100 blue gems to finish it instantly. The instant completion of raids is limited to once per day.
Concerns about the future of Lost Ark are high
What do players say about this? There have been many discussions on the unofficial English-speaking Discord of Lost Ark regarding this topic. While most players have no problem with levels 1 to 4 raids being purchasable, they are upset about this option for level 5 raids.

This is the first time that Lost Ark offers endgame armor for money, and just like the players on the Discord server, Sywo is “worried” about the future of the MMORPG. Most comments under his video agree with him.
