The developers of the upcoming MMORPG Crowfall have presented a new interface in their latest development insight. This is designed to better fit into the world, appear less generic and bulky, and provide more information and better overview.
This is what the UI looks like now: The new UI of Crowfall is somewhat inspired by the “Stoneborn” race in its menu, reminiscent of dwarf architecture from classic and well-known role-playing games (cover image).
It is intended to fit better into the world that players immerse themselves in during the actual game. The backgrounds are light and ornate. Boring buttons have been replaced with new, more appealing ones.
This improved overview is provided by the UI: With the new look, the overview players receive has also improved. It is now easier to:

This is the status of the development: The last major update for Crowfall was the campaign update in March 2019. In this, the most important feature for testing was provided for players.
In campaigns, there are leaderboards where players and guilds can work their way up to end the campaign as winners. This is a mechanic around which the entire concept of “The Throne War” revolves.
With this, the game is already a good way closer to the end of development. However, whether it will be released in 2019 is uncertain. A release for 2019 was anticipated.

The developers of Beyond Good & Evil 2 will not be present at E3 as they want to focus on “important milestones” in game development. However, they have still found the time to discuss new details in a new video, showcase some gameplay, and release plenty of concept art along the way. Some of it looks quite eerie.

When will Beyond Good & Evil 2 be released? There is still no release date for Beyond Good & Evil 2. However, since the game is still in “pre-alpha” and considering the size of the project, one can probably expect no release before 2021.
Blizzard increases the rewards for Azerite power in World of Warcraft. This should especially benefit newcomers and twinks.
A new version of Patch 8.2 has been on the PTR of World of Warcraft since yesterday. We have already shown you the new cutscenes, but there were also some interesting detail changes. For example, the amount of artifact power gained from certain missions has been drastically increased. This is important, as in Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara, the Heart of Azeroth plays an even bigger role.
These missions provide more artifact power: There are a total of two types of quests that will give significantly more artifact power. These are the weekly quest of the island expeditions and the emissary quests of the various factions, which occasionally offer artifact power.
The weekly reward for island expeditions increases from 2,500 artifact power to 3,500 artifact power.
The Azerite reward from the emissary quest increases from 1,500 artifact power to 3,000 artifact power.
Who benefits from the increase? This increase in rewards is likely to help not only players who want to maximize their Heart of Azeroth as soon as possible, but also newcomers or second characters. Both types of missions are associated with relatively little time investment (each under an hour) and offer a lot of artifact power in return. This way, even fresh characters can quickly reach level 50 and higher and utilize the new essences of the Heart of Azeroth.
Heart of Azeroth gets a new system: It is important to know in this context that farming artifact power to unlock Azerite traits on equipment will no longer be necessary with Patch 8.2. The Heart of Azeroth can still reach new levels and become stronger, but this only unlocks the new essences and bonuses. In the online shooter The Division 2, a glitch caused severe conditions in the Dark Zone. Exploiters were virtually invulnerable and ruled the Dark Zone. However, these players receive only a warning.
Due to the glitch, exploiters in the Dark Zone and in Conflict, the PvP of The Division 2, were practically indestructible. The exploit could only be used there.

One group is simply glad that the glitch is over and that it is possible to go back to PvP
Another group says, however, that glitchers should be banned for at least 14 days without warning
It is generally believed that the glitch could not have been triggered by “accident,” but rather that it was used by bold cheaters who knew exactly what they were doing.
A player tells the story of a rogue agent who simply stood there and invulnerably killed other agents. He apparently saw himself as the king of the Dark Zone and ruled it as he wished.
Such players are certainly wished a permanent ban and not just a yellow card.

Fortnite servers will be shut down – When does it start and how long will it take?
When does the server downtime start? As far as the times are concerned, Epic is usually reliable. At 09:30 AM German time, you will have the last chance to join a new game. After that, you will not be able to open any lobbies so that no ongoing games need to be interrupted by the maintenance.
There is an exception this week for real-money purchases. They will already be disabled an hour before maintenance begins, which is at 09:00 AM. Epic refers to this as “additional maintenance.”
At 10:00 AM German time, the servers will be taken completely offline. Fortnite will no longer be accessible.
How long will the servers be down? Based on experiences from the last weeks and months, you should be able to log back in around lunchtime. If there are any delays or issues, you will of course be informed here – just like the patch notes, which we will make available to you as usual.

One of the biggest features of Season 7 in Destiny 2 is the Menagerie, a new pinnacle activity for groups. But what exactly is behind this activity? How does it play? We clarify.
What is the Menagerie? On June 4, the Season of Opulence started in Destiny 2. Included is a new activity for 6 players – the Menagerie. The team size is exactly the same as in a Raid. However, it is not a Raid. This is exactly the kind of activity that many fans have been asking for a long time.
However, Bungie did not go into detail during the presentation of the Menagerie and only provided superficial explanations of the processes and mechanics. Many fans are still not entirely sure what this new feature entails. We try to shed some light on the subject.
What the Menagerie is all about – How the new activity plays
You need to do this first: To participate in the Menagerie, you first need to complete an introductory quest. Speak to Benedict 99-44 in the Tower. He will give you a quest that will quickly get you to Power Level 690, introduce you to the Chalice of Opulence, and guide you into the Menagerie.
This is how you start the activity: Once you start the Menagerie through the Nessus map, you board the Leviathan, the massive spaceship of Emperor Calus.
There you will get a small taste of what to expect in the first room. You need to defeat some Ogres and light lamps with Orbs they drop.
This is what waits for you in the Menagerie: After that, you will navigate through a labyrinth of previously undiscovered sections of this gigantic ship that are overrun by monsters. The normal mode offers matchmaking, so you will quickly find more players.
The cool thing is: The Menagerie plays like a small Raid and focuses on the coolest feature of these activities – namely their mechanics.
In a random order, you will visit different rooms in the labyrinth that are connected by tunnels and corridors. In these rooms, you will fight hordes of enemies, solve puzzles, and master challenging mechanics, as well as face tough boss encounters.
This is what makes the Menagerie so interesting: Essentially, you get a “Best of” selection of previous Raid and activity mechanics from the entire Destiny series, refreshingly combined within the scope of an activity.
Sometimes you will have a room where you need to collect Vex skulls. You need to shoot these to shatter crystals – very much in the style of the boss encounter against Argos from the World Eater tract.
At other times, you must capture plates while hordes of exploding Thralls rush towards you, and a Hive boss like the Dark Blade from Destiny 1 hunts you down.
In the next room, for example, protected Hive Knights could be waiting for you, whose shields you can only break with a sword that you can find with other Knights in this room – like with Crota in Destiny 1.
There are several other mechanics of this kind that Destiny veterans will quickly recognize.
This is what sets the new activity apart from a Raid: However, unlike in a Raid, you cannot “lose” in the Menagerie and can determine how relaxed or frantic your match will be. While you still need to pay attention to mechanics and should learn them, you cannot fail due to them. There are also no team wipes.
This is how the Menagerie works: As you fight your way through the individual rooms against the clock (3 minutes per room), you fill a progress bar. Each room contributes a certain portion to the progress of the bar, depending on your performance.
If you master the mechanics of the room, Calus sends tougher enemies and a boss. If you defeat him, you have “completed” the room. If you defeat more and faster enemies, you will earn more points and thus more progress.
If you fail to handle the mechanics, your team may completely fail, and the timer may run out – no problem. You will still make progress, just less. Once the bar is full, you will face the boss. Therefore, you will always reach him. Your performance only determines how quickly. If you also defeat the ultimate boss of the Menagerie, you will receive a chest with loot. The type, quality, and quantity depend entirely on your Chalice of Opulence.
That’s why the Menagerie offers something for every Guardian: Ambitious teams can refine their strategies and mechanics and seek additional challenges against tougher enemies. Players who are not as familiar with mechanics can learn them and still achieve progress. The mechanics in the Menagerie pose no insurmountable hurdles compared to a raid. So there’s something for every type of player.
The Menagerie is essentially a lighter version of a raid, where you can either really sweat or have a relaxed round in between. How you play this activity is up to you and your team. However, it is definitely more forgiving than a raid.
For those who don’t have time for long raid nights or simply can’t find players for raids, the Menagerie is certainly a quick alternative that offers much of what raids have – just in a more accessible and relaxed form.
What do fans think of this new activity so far? Whether the Menagerie can convince in the long term remains to be seen. This is emphasized by many players.
However, many fans currently see this activity as an enrichment and a cool refreshment for Destiny 2. Many players expected much less and are now pleasantly surprised.

In Fortnite there is a “Pro-Am” tournament coming up. In this showcase battle, the stars of Fortnite play alongside celebrities from music, sports, or TV. But this time, Epic seems to have miscalculated. Twitch stars like Ninja and Tfue want to drop out of the tournament to qualify for the World Cup. The change was evidently necessary after conflicting schedules arose with the biggest Twitch stars of Fortnite. Epic had scheduled a Pro-Am tournament for the same time as Week 10, for which some of the leading Twitch streamers of Fortnite were booked.
Epic has now resolved this scheduling conflict and simply tossed another 2 million USD at the problem.
