To succeed in Teamfight Tactics, the auto battler from Riot Games, there are different strategies. In this article, we would like to introduce you to the Saver and the Hyperroller in more detail.
Why are we introducing these two strategies? In Teamfight Tactics, much is decided by chance, such as the number and rarity of the items or the champions.
But some decisions can be made by yourself. And this particularly includes how to handle the economic situation. In this context, these two strategies have emerged.

Strategy 1: Hyperrolling – Invest Gold and Level Up Units
How does this strategy work? The Hyperroller is about investing a lot of gold at a certain point to upgrade 1-Gold-units as quickly as possible.
To do this, you wait until you have defeated the Krugs, the NPC opponents at the end of Stage 2. Before that, you do not roll out any new champions and do not level up. You use what you are given.
After the Krugs, actively look for champions you can get to level 3. Your level is low enough to regularly receive 1-Gold-units.
Also, pay attention to the players around you and possibly choose the champions that others have not yet bought. This increases the chances of finding the units since a common pool of champions is used.
How does the strategy pay off? By leveling up 1-Gold-champions early, you should now be able to win the upcoming rounds and build a winning streak.
This winning streak compensates you for the gold you will miss in interest. After leveling up one or two champions, you should start saving again to prepare for the late game.
What is the disadvantage of the strategy? Generally, you will get through the early and mid game well with this strategy. However, if you do not get a champion to level 3, a comeback is almost impossible.
Additionally, you may lack synergies for the late game. The newly accumulated gold must then be invested wisely.
Strategy 2: Saver – Save Gold and Focus on T4 Champions
How does this strategy work? If you prefer to be the Saver, you do exactly what the name suggests. You collect gold over many rounds to spend it later.
Early in the game, you should decide which direction your team composition will go. Before facing the Krugs at the end of Stage 2, you should level up once. Three rounds later, depending on how the game unfolds, you should already have reached 50 gold.
Your goal should now be level six, so you encounter 4-Gold champions more often. You should collect these and upgrade them to level 2.
How does the strategy pay off? With this strategy, you should be one of the first players to acquire a 4-Gold champion at level 2. If this champion fits into your team combo or is strong on its own like Gnar or Aurelion Sol, then you have a significant advantage over other players.
With this strategy, you should do well in the mid and late game, as your units are usually rarer and stronger on their own than those of other players.
What is the disadvantage of the strategy? By saving gold, you may take a lot of damage in the early game. TFT is ruthless in that regard, and a comeback under 50% health is usually difficult.
You might even get eliminated before you complete your combo. Therefore, good units in the mid game are very important.
The Right Strategy at the Right Time
Which strategy is better? Both strategies have their advantages and disadvantages. Generally, you should decide in which direction to go after the first rounds.
The start is crucial. If you find 1-Gold champions right at the start that you can upgrade to level 2 and simultaneously have good items, then hyperrolling is worthwhile.
If the right champions are not present in the first rounds, you might prefer to save your gold and hope for the future.

In The Division 2, the release date for Title Update 5 and Episode 1 has been announced. They will arrive in July for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. They bring free content and many improvements to the game.
The US site GameSpot has revealed details and the release date for when players can expect Episode 1 in The Division 2. At the same time, Massive announced this information during a live stream, the State of the Game.

When will the content be available? There are two dates:
For Year Pass holders, Episode 1 starts on July 23, which is a Tuesday. Year Pass holders can then play 2 missions and the 1st wing of the expeditions.
For everyone else, Episode 1 starts on July 30. Then everyone can play the two missions and already the first 2 wings of the expedition.
On July 23, Update 5 will also be released with improvements to The Division 2 for everyone, which we reported on in the last few weeks on MeinMMO.
The DLC is free. However, Year Pass holders can play the new content a week earlier than everyone else.
The release is simultaneous on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Expeditions larger than normal missions
What’s included in Episode 1: Episode 1 is the first major content addition that The Division 2 receives since release. It was promised prior that several hours of gameplay would be available, as the missions are supposed to belong to the endgame.
the new activity “Expeditions”: This is a puzzle activity, but there will also be shooting and looting. The expedition consists of three wings. The wings are supposed to open weekly. One wing opens on July 23 – the second on July 30. The expeditions are supposed to be “somewhat larger” than the normal missions.
Where are the Exotics? This is still not entirely clear.
The Exotics, according to the US site GameSpot, are tied to the Expeditions. Completing all three wings will grant new rewards. They are said to be locked in a secret treasure room:
In Ubisoft’s State of the Game, this part is not elaborated further. It only states that some backpack trophies and “secrets” are expected when completing the Expeditions.
Completing all three wings will grant “premium rewards.” However, Massive doesn’t specify in the State of the Game how to get the Exotics or the two new weapons.
The question is whether GameSpot revealed more than they should have or if they are mistaken.

What is still unclear? Where exactly the two new Exotics and the two new weapons are located seems currently not entirely clear.
Although the US site GameSpot states that all 4 new items are in the treasure room after completing the three wings of the expeditions. But that seems quite strange.
The “Mastery” system for the expeditions has not yet been completed and will not be active until Massive has finished it.
Regarding the balancing of the skills, Massive is still unsure. In the new version, they are somewhat too deadly – they are still considering making adjustments. The skills are supposed to be powerful, but evidently, they may have overdone it a bit.
In Fortnite, you can now play with the airstrike, but the weapon is not well received by professionals. We will tell you what the problem is.
What is the airstrike? This weapon was introduced with Patch 9.30 update 3 and works like a classic airstrike. The player throws the found smoke grenade where they want the airstrike, and shortly after, numerous rockets rain down from the sky and destroy everything there.
For beginners, this weapon is a blessing because you don’t need to aim well, and the damage is therefore much greater. For professionals, however, the airstrike ruins their plans for the World Championship, as the weapon drastically changes the meta.

Why are there problems? The airstrike is especially effective against large structures. It destroys everything there, and an embedded player quickly loses their cover.

In September, the Chinese company Leyou Technologies announced that it is working on a new Lord of the Rings MMO. This apparently piqued Amazon’s interest, as they are now entering development.

However, the card somehow went missing on its way to the intermediary Aramex in New York.

But Aramex says: they signed for a shipment of items, but the card was not included.

Hearthstone is hosting the Summer Festival, and it is really awesome in 2019. Players can look forward to many packs and gold.
Although the next expansion “Saviors of Uldum” was recently announced for Hearthstone, a few weeks must pass before the expansion is released. 2 Battle Passes – Blessing or Curse?
Here’s what the Battle Passes are about: The next season is called “High Skies” and features 2 consecutive Battle Passes. The first is called Wealth & Glory and has a pirate theme.
Later, sometime in August, the second pass named “Zephyr Strike” will be released. Each pass will have 50 levels.
This is how fans are reacting: Most players find the pirate outfits cool and are looking forward to it. However, not everyone on Reddit is convinced that there should be two passes. After all, one could also offer a larger pass with more items instead of 2 passes that each require separate payment:
“It’s about the money, people wanted more, and now they’re getting more, but for a price.”
“That’s lame, especially since they advertise it as a bonus.”
Other players are less concerned, as this way they at least get 2 themes in case they don’t like the pirates.

Get the Invitation from the Emperor on Nessus and unlock the Tribute Hall
Here’s how to get the quest: First, you need to obtain the quest for the new weapon exotic. Fly to the Guardian’s Grave area on Nessus and go to the Calus Barge – a transport ship from Emperor Calus that landed there at the start of Season 7.
On the barge, search for the NPC robot Werner 99-40. Right next to him is a chest that you can open for 5,000 Glimmer. You will then receive the exotic quest for Bad Juju.
Here’s how to unlock the Tribute Hall: Upon receiving the quest, access to the Tribute Hall will also be unlocked. You can find it on the planet map of Nessus below next to the Leviathan – right by the raids and the Menagerie.

How the Countenance of Calus and the Tribute Hall work
What is the Tribute Hall all about? Now head into the Tribute Hall and speak with the Countenance of Calus, the golden statue of the Cabal Emperor in the middle of the foyer.
The Tribute Hall itself is your own area aboard the Leviathan, built in honor of you by Emperor Calus. There you can showcase certain trophies and obtain Bad Juju.
How the Tribute Hall works: After speaking with the Countenance of Calus, the quest will continue for you, and the trading functions of the statue will be unlocked.

You can now collect four bounties daily with each character and exchange them for currency and materials to purchase tributes.
For each completed bounty, you will receive, among other items, the Blessing of Opulence. If you turn in this item at the statue, you will receive a 1% discount on the tributes offered there. Up to 80% discount is possible in total. If the prices for the tributes seem too high at first, you can complete bounties diligently to significantly lower the costs.
You can also obtain tributes not only by purchasing but also by unlocking specific Tribute Hall triumphs. You can find these in the menu under Triumphs/Locations/Sub-locations/The Tribute Hall.
These tributes can then be offered in the actual Tribute Hall, which only unfolds in all its glory after the foyer – meaning you place them in the designated spot. If you can submit one or more tributes in the hall, the corresponding spots will be indicated by a small light pillar.

With the increasing number of tributes you offer, there are various rewards. For example, you need 18 tributes for Bad Juju and a total of 45 for the corresponding Masterwork Catalyst. In total, you can submit 50 tributes. Whether there is more than just the exotic gesture “There, where the X is” for that in the end is currently unknown.
By the way: Which tributes you submit specifically for Bad Juju does not matter. Just turn in everything you have available to quickly complete the 18 tributes.
Here’s how the quest continues: From now on, it’s basically all about collecting and offering tributes. 18 are needed for Bad Juju. In several quest steps, you will unlock more of these tributes, use them, and earn so-called memories.
These are also items (dog projections) that you should place in the Tribute Hall – specifically around the centrally located chest with Bad Juju.

Unlocking and buying tributes – Here’s how to progress in the Bad Juju quest
Here’s how to obtain tributes: More than 20 tributes can be bought from the statue. Those who have laid up proper reserves of materials can benefit immensely and greatly shorten the quest duration.
More tributes can be obtained through the triumphs of the Tribute Hall. If you have already earned some, that can save a lot of time as well.
To earn these triumphs, you need to complete specific tasks while using armor and weapons in Calus style – for example, from the Menagerie, the Leviathan raid, from one of its raid wings, or from the new raid Crown of Sorrows. The more matching gear pieces you wear, the faster you will make progress.

The Steam Summer Sale 2019 is likely to go down in history as one of the most chaotic in Valve’s history. However, indie developers suffered greatly as a result.
The Steam Summer Sale 2019 is over. Not only do users and their wallets have to recover from it, but also another group: indie developers. For them, the Summer Sale was a catastrophe like no other.
Instead of additional revenue, many fell short of expectations and now have a smaller potential customer base. The blame lies with the “Grand Prix,” which few have truly understood to this day.
What was the problem? In the “Grand Prix” meta-game, in which all users on Steam could participate, there was the chance to win a game from their wishlist. Since the rules were not clear, and Valve explained them far too late, it had dramatic consequences.
Users edited their wishlists and removed all games that were not full-price titles. They thought that in the event of a win, they could derive the greatest value from the action.
These were the effects for indie developers: Indie developers often produce games that are developed by smaller teams or are particularly niche. This often results in a reduced price. Instead of 60€, indie games often cost between 5€ and 30€. Exactly these games were the first to be removed from the wishlists of many players.
A large customer base was lost: The wishlist on Steam is an important marketing tool. It shows developers how many players potentially have an interest in their title and might be more inclined to buy it when the price is reduced. Developers who have only announced a game can also roughly estimate how many buyers there will be later.
Big games had no problem attracting attention – indie games had a harder time.
But even more: Friends can view each other’s wishlists. When browsing the store, if you come across a game that says “Friend A wants this game,” you might take a closer look. After all, it’s practically a recommendation from a friend and better than any other form of advertising.
What the developers say: In a conversation with Kotaku, many indie developers speak up and explain this very situation. They call it a catastrophe and say it led to significantly fewer sales than expected. The developer of Vulpine (Clockwork Giant Games), for instance, said in an email:
The message from Steam to its users not to delete their wishlists had no significant impact on how much we were [deleted from these lists].
In the past, the developer received about 180 new wishlist entries per day. This time, it was different:
This sale resulted in us getting between 40 and 60 new wishlist entries per day, while 30-50 were deleted each day. We are just barely in the positive range, and from what I can say, we are still among the developers who were lucky. For an unreleased indie title, wishlists are the lifeblood; that’s how we are perceived on the platform. It’s sad to see how many of our colleagues among the developers were hit hard by this sale.
The Steam Summer Sale 2019 has not only excited players; the developers are visibly disappointed as well. Let’s hope Valve learns from the mistakes of this year.
There is a multiplayer beta coming for Gears 5, and the developers at The Coalition have released a video of the Escalation mode. This is one of the three modes that can be tried out in the Versus beta. Escalation is already known from Gears of War 4 but has received a new look for the upcoming installment.
What mode is it? The developers at The Coalition have now shown real gameplay for the upcoming shooter Gears 5 for the first time. What was demonstrated is the Escalation mode, which fans of the series may already know from Gears of War 4.
In Escalation, two teams of five players each face off and must capture three rings located around the map. You can think of it similarly to the Control mode in Destiny 2. Each ring that is captured generates one point per second. The team that reaches 250 points first wins a round.
If a team captures all three rings or eliminates the entire opposing team, this counts as a Domination Victory and an immediate win of the round. The team that wins seven rounds first wins the match.
After each round, new weapons are placed on the map, and the respawn time for players decreases.
What is new about Escalation? In Gears 5, there is a limited number of lives. Each player starts the match with five lives. After each round, players receive one life back, as well as five lives at halftime.
This new system is designed to make the game more tactical and exciting. Players need to weigh whether it’s worth rushing in aggressively or playing defensively and cautiously. After dying, they can decide whether to jump back into the game immediately or save their lives for another round.
When does the beta take place? Before the release of Gears 5 on September 10, 2019, a multiplayer beta will take place shortly, during which three Versus modes can be tested.

The MMORPG Kingdom Under Fire 2 has a truly insane development history filled with crises. Now, the MMORPG is set to release in Germany in 2019. That is 10 years after the originally planned release, which was intended for the Xbox 360.
What kind of franchise is this? In itself, “Kingdom under Fire” was a franchise for PC, which only gained success on the original Xbox and Xbox 360 when more action was introduced into the strategy game:
The 1st game “Kingdom Under Fire” was released in 2001 for PC – it was a real-time strategy game.
Then came “The Crusaders” for Xbox – here the developers added gameplay elements from Dynasty Warriors, bringing more action into the mix.
Kingdom under Fire “Heroes” was also released for Xbox – this was then an action-strategy game.
In 2008, finally, “Circle of Doom” was released for Xbox 360 – this was classified as an action RPG.
The franchise “Kingdom under Fire” had a good reputation and some fans in Europe. Especially “Heroes” from 2005 received strong ratings – but “Circle of Doom” fell off.
From 2009 to 2014 in “Developer Hell”
What about part 2? The development history of Kingdom under Fire 2 is confusing, full of stumbling blocks, announcements that never came true, and problems.
But from the beginning, there were big problems. The game was originally supposed to release in 2009 for PC and Xbox 360.
But media reported back in 2010 that Kingdom under Fire 2 was stuck in “developer hell”:
The developer ran out of money.
Key developers left the team.
The Xbox version was postponed. Then it was said that Kingdom under Fire should come for PlayStation 3 – but that also went nowhere.
Western Release Planned Since 2014
What is so messed up? The situation only got stranger from 2014:
It involves at least 4 regions (Southeast Asia, Russia, China, and the West).
And 2 planned platforms (PC and PS4) – of which there is still no PS4 version to date.
And many open betas, planned releases, and withdrawals.
From 2014 onwards, the game was somewhat out, but the ambitions were always greater than the reality.

When will armored Mewtwo be available? This Mewtwo form will be available tonight, on July 10th, at 10 PM in raids. You have time to battle it until July 31st.

What does this mean for armored Mewtwo? This Mewtwo will be quite weak and not comparable to normal Mewtwo at all.
The defense stat is quite high, which does not really matter, as you cannot put Mewtwo in a gym. However, the attack stat will be rather weak. Pokémon like Pidgeot or Sandshrew have the same strong attack stat. These are also not useful in battle.
What moves can it learn? Armored Mewtwo learns different moves than normal Mewtwo. It has:
Fast Moves: Confusion (Psychic Type), Steel Wing (Steel Type)
That’s why the raid fight will be difficult: Armored Mewtwo is quite hard to defeat as a raid boss. This is due to its high defense stat and especially the moves. Almost every attack is a good counter against your top attacker.
For example, Tyranitar will be taken down by Dynamic Punch. Bug Pokémon like Scizor or Pinsir are very effectively hit by Rock Slide.
How many people are needed in the raid? Despite all these difficulties, you can defeat Mewtwo with three players. However, you need very strong counters. It becomes easier with 4-5 players, where defeating Mewtwo becomes significantly easier.
Will armored Mewtwo be useless? In battle, you will not deal much damage with this Mewtwo. Hence, it will rather become a collector’s item. Or a significantly worse alternative among the psychic attackers.
However, Mewtwo is worth it for collecting candies. You can catch the armored Mewtwo and then use the candies obtained to power up a normal Mewtwo. These are always worth it in battle.

This is how it went down: The offer was overall viewed very critically by the players. After all, Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 is a sports game at the end of its lifecycle, the season is over, and the next installment is coming soon.
Sports games are niche. Those who like them buy them right at release. However, most players tend to try out a shooter or an action game when it’s free, rather than a soccer title.
On MeinMMO, readers commented:
Ace FFM: “I really messed up again. Maybe next month.”
Vallo: “This only supports the summer slump. I don’t care about soccer, and I don’t know the other one.”
Seth Eastwood: “Sports games that come out every year shouldn’t be included in PS+ subscriptions. They are simply worthless.”
This is how Konami reacts: According to GameSpot, Konami states, “This decision was made by Sony. So please also ask Sony.”
The Brand Manager for PES in Europe mentioned that the decision surprised Konami itself. It was not planned.
The Brand Manager only learned about it when she opened her laptop in the morning. “I honestly can’t explain it,” she tells GameSpot.
