Season 1 – The Modest Beginning
This was Season 1: Season 1 began when Fortnite was still a relatively unknown competitor to PUBG and even had some troubles with its developers for a short time. The map looked radically different back then, including the absence of Tilted Towers.
These were the highlights: The game was still brand new and no one had really mastered building. Many players were still cautiously experimenting and trying to figure out the major differences to PUBG.

Season 7 – The Christmas Season
This was Season 7: After an iceberg was spotted on the horizon in Season 6, another island collided with the map at the start of Season 7 and significantly expanded the southwest. There, the mountain Polar Peak was revealed over time with a castle. At the end of the season, the Ice King emerged from the castle, launching yet another zombie event.
These were the highlights: For the first time since Season 2, the map was significantly expanded again. The entire region in the southwest was renewed and redesigned. New landmasses were added as well.
What was problematic: Season 7 is still highly controversial, as there were two things that many fans hated: airplanes and the Infinity Blade! Especially the completely overpowered sword drove players to despair.
Season 8 – The Season with the Blinger
This was Season 8: Season 8 had the themes of pirates and treasures. Additionally, a massive volcano emerged at Wailing Woods and a pirate lagoon at Lazy Links. By the end of the season, various locations appeared that needed to be unearthed.
These were the highlights: The end of the season brought the entire Fortnite community together to solve puzzles collaboratively. The end event, in which the proverbial vault was opened, was an absolute novelty.
What was problematic: The infamous Blinger, which still plagues professional tournaments today, was introduced. Many players agree that the Level 100 Skin Blingerella is the most boring Level 100 Skin of all time.
These were the highlights: Throughout the season, a monster from Polar Peaks emerged, and to combat it, a giant robot was constructed. The robot then fought an epic final battle against the monster.
What was problematic: Since fans really wanted the controversial Drum Gun back in Season 8, this controversial weapon returned. Additionally, Epic added an astonishing amount of shotguns to the game and completely removed the popular pump shotgun. Instead, players got, among other things, the controversial drum shotgun.

A small hotfix 9.14b has been released for Teamfight Tactics. The patch focuses on balance adjustments and brings some changes to the meta.
What was the biggest change? In the current meta, assassins play an important role. Therefore, the patch reduces the critical damage of the combo. Additionally, the critical damage has been changed in general, so it now adds up instead of multiplying.
Positive reports come for beasts and sorcerers. The popular wild/sorcerer combo could make a comeback thanks to the patch.
What changed in the attributes
Which origins and classes were strengthened? Only beasts and sorcerers benefited from the new patch 9.14b:
The increase in attack speed per stack for wild has been raised from 8% to 10%.
The damage of sorcerers in the 3-piece bonus has been increased from 35 to 45. Six sorcerers still have an additional strength of 100.
Which origins and classes were weakened? Besides the assassins, elemental mages also have to deal with a small nerf:
The critical hit chance has been reduced in the 3-piece bonus from 150% to 125%. With six assassins, it remains at 350%

This week, the casino in GTA Online was finally released. Players had to wait a whopping six years for the Diamond Casino & Resort. Some players are, however, barred from accessing the gambling feature. The function has now been blocked in 54 countries. Some players circumvent the restriction, which is strongly discouraged.
What is the casino? The latest DLC for GTA Online brought some content related to the massive casino into the game. There is a penthouse, new clothing, and vehicles. But also the Diamond Casino & Resort itself, where users can pass the time with various gambling games.

However, not every player is allowed to participate in the casino’s features. Users on the GTA Online subreddit are currently listing countries where gambling is blocked. The list gets longer every day.
Some players circumvent the restriction, but this is discouraged on Reddit.
Currently, there are 54 countries where gambling in GTA Online is blocked. Players can still use the other features of the update, but the casino mini-games remain inaccessible to them.
How do players bypass the ban? On Reddit, some players report that they simply circumvent their country’s ban using a VPN. This way, they trick the GTA servers into believing they are coming from a different region than they actually are.
However, this is generally discouraged. There is still a risk for players using this method of being caught. Bans from Rockstar could be imposed, or in the worst case, real penalties for breaking the laws of their respective countries.

What does this mean for Temtem? The publisher will relieve the developers in some crucial aspects, such as marketing, and will intensify these efforts. This way, the actual development work on the game can be better focused by the developers.
In the long term, Temtem should benefit as a product in terms of quality and popularity.
The gameplay is reminiscent of the great template Pokémon.
Concerns within the community: The still small community of Temtem has received the announcement with surprise, but overall positively. However, there were two points that have caused players some concern.
On one hand, some players expressed worries about having issues with the planned Steam version. Humble Bundle can indeed be seen as a competitor to Steam as a distribution platform. As a justification, the short-term temporary exclusivity of Metro Exodus in the Epic Store was cited.
On the other hand, the announcement was somewhat surprising and sudden for some fans. In light of failed Kickstarter projects, doubts were raised – although it is hoped that something like this won’t happen with Temtem.
Developer Crema has already addressed these concerns and explicitly confirmed the Steam version. Development is proceeding as planned.

Many a secret seeker from World of Warcraft is puzzled by a small discovery. Who or what is behind the name Solesa Naksu?
The “Secret Finding” community of World of Warcraft constantly combs the game for puzzles and secrets hidden in Azeroth. After all, new content arrives with every patch, and hidden puzzles have been part of the daily routine since Legion. Since the maintenance last Wednesday, the community has faced a new, mysterious find: An NPC named “Solesa Naksu”.
What is Solesa Naksu? Some players were able to select this term on their world map. There, “Solesa Naksu [DNT]” appeared as a region in Kalimdor in the area selection. This was apparently a bug, as the map for this zone could not be opened.

The note “[DNT]” is an abbreviation for the words “Do not translate”, indicating from the developers that words or terms should not be translated. This may suggest that Solesa Naksu was never meant to be found by the players at all. It could be “data garbage” or an unfinished idea that is still present in the game data.
New info since Wednesday: What is exciting is that there is now new information since the last maintenance. Part of the game data of World of Warcraft is encrypted and will only be unlocked and readable for data miners when Blizzard decides. This is the case for cinematics after a boss kill to prevent spoilers.
Last Wednesday, data miners discovered that further data on “Solesa Naksu” has been decrypted. This includes an achievement, an item, and an in-game letter. However, all these objects appear to be incomplete, as the content of the letter is currently just: “Solesa Naksu [DNT] Body – Bah, Blah blah blah.” So obviously a placeholder.
Anagram might be a hint: Clever players have already taken a closer look at the name “Solesa Naksu”. It is interesting that the naming fits hardly any race in World of Warcraft. However, if you rearrange the letters of the words, you can arrive at the term “A Snake’s Soul” – the soul of a snake or serpentine soul.
This suggests that Solesa Naksu might be a Naga or an eel creature.
Whether something will ultimately come of the strange NPC Solesa Naksu or if the community is just on the trail of a false lead will surely become clear in the coming weeks and months.

In Destiny 2, the summer event “Sunsinger’s Solstice” will start shortly. With it, Bungie is slowly winding down the second year before the big autumn expansion Shadowkeep kicks off the third year in October. What is the Sunsinger’s Solstice all about? The now second Sunsinger’s Solstice is a seasonal summer event with which Destiny 2 concludes its second year. As part of this event, Guardians can reflect on and celebrate their previous achievements before the release of Shadowkeep.
When does the event take place? The Sunsinger’s Solstice is part of Season 7. It starts on Tuesday, July 30, and runs until August 27. The major autumn expansion Shadowkeep will be released on October 1, ushering in the third year of Destiny 2.
Who can participate? All owners of Destiny 2 can participate, regardless of additional content.

This is how the event unfolds: This year, the event runs differently with some new features.
The celebrations begin with Eva Levante in the Tower, who waits for you by the Statue of Heroes. You will then complete various tasks, including the brand-new activity “Combat Meditations”, to upgrade your event armor and turn it into a masterpiece.
Each day, a different element – Arc, Void, or Solar – will be in focus, bringing fresh energy to activities. By getting elemental kills, you will create elemental orbs. You need to collect these orbs not only to complete certain tasks within the summer event and upgrade your event armor, but by picking up these orbs, you can also activate powerful elemental buffs.
Elemental Orbs
This is how the elemental buffs work: Elemental kills with a specific element (through weapons and abilities) produce corresponding elemental orbs. If you collect 30 orbs matching the element of the day, you can deploy a limited-time buff that affects differently depending on the element:
Solar Buff: You unleash a burning wave of energy that damages everything around you.
Void Buff: If you crouch, you become invisible and gain True Sight (see opponent silhouettes through walls). Additionally, ability regeneration is improved.
Arc Buff: You can move faster and deal higher melee and sword damage.
These effects last only for a short time and expire if you die. After that, you must collect another 30 orbs again. These buffs are not active in competitive PvP or Gambit Prime.
The European Air Zone (ELZ)
This is the new activity “Combat Meditations”: It is a new PvE activity with matchmaking designed for three players. You start it in the Tower or via the Navigator and are then sent to a completely new area on Earth – the European Air Zone (ELZ). As the name suggests, this location is set on a kind of floating islands.
Here you will face off against the Hive, Cabal, and Fallen. The goal is to eliminate as many mini-bosses as possible before time runs out. Once the time is up, you will face a final boss. After you send this boss to the virtual afterlife, you can scour the ELZ for treasures. The more mini-bosses you have defeated beforehand, the more treasure chests will await you to be found.
The Rewards from the Sunsinger’s Solstice
Sunsinger Packages: From the chests at the end of the Combat Meditations, you will receive Sunsinger packages. These can be opened with Sunsinger key fragments, which you receive by completing any activities during the summer event.

This year, there are no more event-specific engrams from which you receive the event rewards. Instead, you will be able to buy every single item directly – using silver (real money currency) and glimmer (in-game currency). Every event-specific item will be guaranteed to be available for glimmer at some point during the event.
Armor Glows on the Sunsinger Sets
Additionally, you will receive various armor glow effects for the Sunsinger armor sets through the Eververse. These effects can be equipped with any event set and shine brightest when your focus element matches the element of the glow. They will also remain available beyond the summer event and can be used afterwards. You will be able to buy entire glow effect sets with silver or glimmer through the Eververse.
New Triumphs: As part of the Sunsinger’s Solstice, the last two Triumphs for the Moments of Triumph 2019 can also be earned. Since these are tied to the summer event, it was not previously possible to complete the Moments of Triumph fully.

After the starter Hydropi was featured in July, a non-starter had to follow in August. Niantic has chosen the Psychic Pokémon Trasla for this.

When is the Community Event? It was already known when the Community Day starts. It begins early in August on the 03.08. from 4 PM to 7 PM.
Niantic confirms, however, that this will be the last Community Day with these hours. In September, it will be pushed back by one hour.
What are the bonuses? As usual on a Community Day, there are numerous bonuses this time as well. So there are:

Trasla will be more frequently catchable in the wild
An exclusive move will be announced later
What do we know about the move? So far, nothing can be said about this. It will be interesting to see how Niantic resolves it, as there are two final evolutions: Guardevoir and Galagladi.
However, it will be difficult to teach the two Pokémon a move that actually makes them better. Therefore, a completely new move could possibly be introduced.

New cards from Hearthstone have been revealed. Some mechanics of the cards are extremely difficult to trigger – not everyone will like that.
The upcoming Hearthstone expansion “Saviors of Uldum” is just a few weeks away from its release. Blizzard is currently releasing new cards for the upcoming expansion every day. Many of these cards have exciting effects, so we want to introduce you to the highlights from the past days.
Rogues can look forward to a minion that constantly supplies them with new combo cards. The Whirling Dragonmaster costs 2 mana and has stats of 1/2, but grants the player a random combo card every time they play a combo card. This should lead to long chains of reactions and save rogues from many tricky situations.
An extremely interesting card is the Mogukultist . She is a minion for 1 mana, with stats of only 1/1. However, her battle cry makes her interesting, because: “When your side of the battlefield is full of Mogukultists, sacrifice all and summon Highkeeper Ra.”
The Highkeeper Ra is a powerful 20/20 minion that deals 20 damage to all enemies at the end of the turn. So, it requires a lot of planning and many tricks to bring 7 Mogukultists onto the battlefield, as you can usually only have 2 cards of that kind in your deck.
Warlocks are once again indulging in self-damage. The new wild beast minion Sick Vulture has stats of 3/5 for 4 mana and the effect of summoning a random minion for 3 mana every time the warlock takes damage during their own turn.
If you like buffed minions, you should include the neutral card Warrior of Anubisath in your deck. For 9 mana, it only has stats of 9/6, but it has a powerful deathrattle: It grants all minions in the player’s hand a buff of +3/+3.
Warriors are once again committing to powerful taunt cards. Starting with the Shivering Lackey for 2 mana with stats of 2/2 and taunt. With its battle cry, it allows the warrior to discover another minion with taunt. By the way, the similarity of the artwork to Shaggy from Scooby-Doo is intentional, as its flavor text says: “Maybe he shouldn’t have gone out without his trusty dog.”
Also for Warriors is the new spell Into Battle. For 1 mana, it grants all their taunt minions in hand a buff of +2/+2, making them even more durable.

The current version of World of Warcraft, the Patch 8.2 Rise of Azshara, has been playable for almost a month now. However, it doesn’t seem like it will be long before the next update hits the PTR and the story of Azeroth continues. Some dataminers from wowhead and mmo-champion report that an early version of Patch 8.2.5 has already appeared in Blizzard’s internal systems.
What’s in Patch 8.2.5? The exact contents of the upcoming patch are still unknown, but a few “minor details” have already been mentioned in the past. Players can look forward to the following things:

Beyond that, the content of the upcoming patch remains a mystery.
The story is still unknown: 8.2.5 will definitely be another “smaller” patch that does not include new raids or areas. However, many contents of the patch are still uncertain. The streamer Alinity recently got into trouble for throwing a cat live during a stream. The situation has escalated, and even a director at Twitch is calling for her ban.
What happened? The streamer Natalia “Alinity” Mogollon is facing accusations of animal cruelty. The reason was that she grabbed her cat Milo, who jumped on her keyboard while she was streaming Apex Legends, and carelessly threw him behind her. The Casino Update 1.47 in GTA Online rewards you with more money for daily objectives and time trials. We show you which activities are now worth your while and how to quickly earn a lot of money.
What did Update 1.47 change? On July 23, Rockstar Games released the Casino DLC in GTA Online. This is a reason for players to rejoice, as in addition to the new casino with gambling, there are now higher payouts for activities. Daily objectives now bring a total of three-quarters of a million GTA Dollars if you complete them diligently.
The rewards for time trials have been doubled.

Daily objectives yield up to 750,000 GTA Dollars if you stick with them
What are daily objectives? Daily objectives are smaller tasks assigned randomly by Rockstar to players. They change every morning between 6 and 7 a.m. German time. There are 3 tasks to complete each day.
Examples of such tasks include:
Modify a car
Participate in a parachute jump
Play a deathmatch
Play a game of tennis
Participate in a rally race
Jump from 100 meters and survive
If you complete all 3, your daily objectives for the day are done.
How much money can you earn? The rewards for these objectives are tiered and have been increased with the update.
If you complete all 3 tasks, you receive 30,000 GTA$ daily (previously 25,000 GTA$)
If you complete these daily objectives for a week, you receive 150,000 GTA$ (previously 100,000 GTA$)
If you complete the daily objectives for a month, you receive 750,000 GTA$ (previously 500,000 GTA$)
However, you do not necessarily need to log in every day for that. To receive the reward for a month, you only need to do it for 30 days. Not consecutively. Only the days you log in count.
If you miss a day, your streak does not break. Only the days you are logged in count.
What are time trials? You can find time trials on the public map of your game session. You don’t need to join any game mode for that. Just drive to the purple stopwatch.
This is where the race starts with a predetermined time limit. If you reach the finish line within the time limit, you will be generously rewarded. If you arrive late, you get only 1,000 $ as a consolation prize.
How do you earn money with this? Successfully completing the races now rewards you with 100,000 GTA Dollars. Before the update, it was only 50,000 GTA Dollars.
The races rotate weekly. For each race, you receive the 100,000 GTA Dollars once a week.
