But this cheater was particularly brazen and apparently didn’t even want to hide that he was using hacks in Fortnite. Similar to this cheater colleague here.
This is how the cheater started: After Ninja and his teammate Reverse2k were surprisingly mowed down by the player with a minigun, they were unsure whether everything was above board. So they observed the killer and quickly found out: Yep, he is hacking.
How did the cheater continue? After Ninja and Reverse2k had unmasked the player as a cheater, they continued to observe how he behaved. On a driftboard, he flew around easily shooting players who were actually not visible and hiding in bushes. He even hit players accurately in the head that he wasn’t even looking at, while he was doing wild acrobatics in the air.
Acrobatic cheating – Source: Mixer
Ninja called Epic: While watching the cheater, Ninja grabbed the phone. “I will not leave the game until that guy is banned,” the streamer says. Then someone answered the call: “Hey, this is Tyler. There is a hacker in my game who just took me and my teammate down. I’m currently watching him. Is there a way you can inform someone who can take care of this?” said Ninja.
In the stream itself, it wasn’t clear whether Epic really banned the cheater. For safety, Ninja filled out a cheating report in the game and sent it to Epic.
In the following video, you can see the entire encounter with the cheater and the phone call with Epic.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T127-XGnQ4k&
Alternatively to YouTube, you can find the video on Mixer.com here. At a time of 7 hours and 29 minutes, you are in the corresponding game – shortly thereafter the cheater appears.
In Hearthstone has a card just become the teacher for the players. Because this card is smarter than most players.
For a few days now, the latest expansion “Saviors of Uldum” has been live in Hearthstone. This has not only expanded Blizzard’s card game with 135 new cards, but also leads to all sorts of funny moments. Especially one card has captivated the players, where they like to admit: “The card is smarter than I am!”
What does Zephrys the Great do? Zephrys offers solid stats of 3/2 for 2 mana and is an elemental with a powerful battle cry. If no card in the player’s deck is duplicated, Zephrys ensures that “you can wish for the perfect card.” In plain language, this means that Zephrys ensures that you receive the most optimal card that deals best with the problems on the battlefield. This can be a deadly fireball, but also a card that saves your life or turns supposed healing into deadly effects.
Zephrys surprises many players: In the Hearthstone subreddit, many players report that they are greatly impressed by Zephrys’ “thinking performance.” Most players already have a card in mind that they would like when they play Zephrys. When they then see what Zephrys offers them, they pause for a moment and wonder why Zephrys offers these specific cards. This usually leads to an “Oh, I understand!” moment, and players have to recognize that Zephrys has identified the significantly smarter move.
Only the developers seem to know exactly what Zephrys will offer each time:
Particularly popular Zephrys cards: Since Zephrys can offer almost all current cards, many cards are being seen for the first time in a long time. But some highlights make the rounds that keep reappearing:
If the opponent has Lord Jaraxxus, Zephrys almost always offers “Sacrifice Pact” – this allows the demon to be destroyed immediately.
Classes with significant healing (Paladins, Druids, Priests) almost always receive an Auchenai Soulpriest, turning strong heals into damage spells.
The Cabal Shadow Priest is offered when you can steal an important minion through mind control.
At 6 health points of the opponent, there is (almost) always a fireball
What do you think of Zephrys? Is the card a cool and sensible addition to Hearthstone? Or does it make many game decisions too easy?

What else have players discovered? Besides mounts, adjusted player models, and new spaceships, a multiplayer hub has also come into the fans’ sights.
The entrance to the hub can be seen at minute 1:01 in the trailer, and the interior and exit from 1:31. Players suspect that the already existing anomaly could be converted into a meeting point with the patch.
Update: From an article by PCGamer, we now know that up to 32 players can meet in a session. Additionally, animals might not only be ridable but also able to be milked.
Will this be a new multiplayer hub?
VR as another highlight of the update
What else does the update include? Besides gameplay updates, VR is to be the main focus of the new patch “Beyond”. It is expected to be playable via Steam VR and Playstation VR.
How big is the new update? According to statements from the developer Hello Games, the new patch will be the largest ever for No Man’s Sky. The developers have been working on “Beyond” for over 12 months, which was originally intended to be released in three separate parts.
In Destiny 2 you’ll find information about the release date and the transfer to Steam. This is because PC players have to switch from Blizzard’s Battle.net to Steam.
This is the release date on Steam: As Bungie has now officially confirmed, Steam will be the new home of Destiny 2 on PC starting October 1, 2019.
Why is there a Steam release? After the split from Activision, this is a logical step. Until now, the PC version of Destiny 2 could only be played through Activision Blizzard’s Battle.net. Since Activision has nothing more to do with Destiny 2 now, Steam will be the new, neutral home for all PC Guardians. You will no longer be able to play Destiny 2 on Battle.net starting October.
How does the transfer from Battle.net to Steam work?
What you need to know about the transfer: Bungie promises that all your progress will be carried over to Steam. In other words, your previous characters, gear, collections, in-game purchases, and simply “everything” will come with you when you move to Steam.
When do I need to take action? Starting August 20, the “linking process” begins. You can then link your PC player accounts from Steam and Battle.net to ensure a smooth transition. You will have over a month to switch to Steam.
All this information is shared by Bungie in this trailer, which is quite entertaining:

That’s why Titans are dissed: In the trailer, Bungie first reveals that you can take all your stuff with you to Steam and that the linking process starts on August 20. Then, they make fun of Titans: the move to Steam is so easy that even a Titan can manage it.
Then you see a Titan wearing the “One-Eyed Mask” Exotic shouting “What”, punching a screen, and knocking over a table.
This is how the community reacts: This joke is well received, it is the big topic in the comments. Hardly anyone talks about the transfer to Steam, all top comments respond to this Titan diss.
“They call us Titans stupid”, writes a user with a distressed emoticon.
One jokes that this is discrimination against Titans and asks how one could do such a thing.
“Bungie just dissed “One-Eyed Mask” users. Wow”, says a user. The One-Eyed Mask is a strong, exotic helmet that many Titans use, especially in PvP. It was once considered an overpowered helmet that even noobs could shine with.
A Warlock jokes that this diss was so mean that Titans now need a healing rift – a class ability of Warlocks.
“Bruh, another great trailer,” summarizes another Guardian about the trailer.
All these comments have hundreds of likes.
This is how Zavala reacts when he hears this
Here are the most important questions and answers about the Steam release and transfer at a glance:
When is the Steam release of Destiny 2?
On October 1, 2019.
When does the linking process begin?
The account linking process starts on August 20. This is necessary to transfer from Battle.net to Steam.
What happens if I don’t link my PC account to Steam?
After October 1, Destiny 2 will no longer be available on Blizzard’s Battle.net. If you wish to continue your Guardian journey on PC, the transfer is necessary.
The retail chain Walmart has reportedly instructed its employees in an internal memo to remove advertisements for video games that depict violence. However, its corporate policy regarding the sale of firearms remains unchanged.
This is particularly important for Walmart: Last Saturday, in a Walmart store in El Paso, Texas, a gunman shot 22 people and injured 24 others.
Therefore, the public is now paying special attention to how Walmart responds to this incident.
This is the response: As a freelance writer reported on Twitter, there is an internal memo at Walmart. The letter instructs employees to immediately remove all advertisements and signs that indicate “violent or aggressive content.”
If the employee is unsure whether to remove something or leave it, they should remove it.
The memorandum provides specific instructions that also pertain to video games:
Employees should turn off all TVs and monitors that display demos of games featuring violence – especially on PlayStation or Xbox. These demos will be replaced in the coming weeks.
All events related to “fighting games” or “third-person shooters” should also be canceled.
Employees should thoroughly examine the entire store for any signs of fighting games or third-person shooters.
No movies featuring violence should be shown.
Also, videos in the sporting goods department related to hunting should be removed.
This scene from Call of Duty is often cited as evidence for violent video games.
What else is happening? According to USA Today, Walmart has no plans to change its corporate policy regarding firearms.
In this context, spokespersons from “anti-gun” initiatives are calling for exactly that from Walmart: “Walmart is such a big player, if they really got involved in this matter, it could make a real difference,” says the founder of “Guns Down America”.
A spokesperson for another initiative, “Mothers Demand Action”, praises Walmart for some changes in the past. Walmart stopped selling semi-automatic rifles in 2015.
However, this spokesperson also says: “One thing we have long demanded from them is to prohibit the open carry of firearms in their stores. The next time someone walks through a store door with a firearm, there should be no question about whether they pose a threat.”
Walmart itself states that it has always had strict policies regarding the sale of firearms that exceed legal requirements.
Meanwhile, all 4 Vault Hunters from Borderlands 3 have been introduced. We want to know which one of them you will kick the children of the vault in the butt.
In a few weeks, the loot shooter Borderlands 3 will finally be released. The game is probably already the game of the year 2019 for many, as great is the anticipation and excitement in our comments. As is customary in the Borderlands games, the selection of one of the Vault Hunters is at the start. You have to choose between these characters:
This is Amara: Amara is the Siren of the group in Borderlands 3 and thus has “magical” abilities. She is able to conjure ghostly fists that can give enemies a hard time in close combat. For fans of melee action, Amara seems to be the top choice.
This is Moze: Moze is the “Gunner” of the group and thus has a penchant for big guns. When she is not grabbing her weapons or the situation is tense, she can also summon her mech, with which she can lay waste to the battlefield for several seconds. The mech not only can take a lot of damage but also deals a significant amount of damage.
This is FL4K: FL4K is a rather mysterious character who hides his face behind a mask. He has a special bond with the various animals that he can summon in battle, which support him vigorously. These creatures are not only useful in melee, some of them even carry weapons themselves.
This is Zane: Zane is more of a lone killer and a total daredevil. He is so lacking in social contacts that he even talks to his own hologram. He can also use this hologram in battle to distract opponents and then take them out more or less stealthily. Additionally, he will be able to equip two abilities right away if he forgoes grenades.
But now we want to know which character steals your heart.
Which Vault Hunter will you make the world of Borderlands 3 unsafe?
If you want to justify your answer a bit more, feel free to leave a comment and explain why this particular Vault Hunter has captivated you.
Fortnite: Battle Royale had long not received an age rating from the USK. While the original Fortnite
– Save the World – was clearly rated 12 and older, there had been no age rating
for the Battle Royale game until now. That has now changed.
At what age is Fortnite now? After almost 2 years, the USK has finally issued an age rating for Fortnite: Battle Royale. The game is now rated for ages 12 and older as well. This means it has the same USK rating as the original Fortnite, which is now called “Save the World”.
Fortnite is now generally rated for ages 12 and older
Why did Battle Royale only get its age rating now? While the PVE mode Save the World has always been rated 12 and older, there had been no classification for Battle Royale until now. There is a simple reason for this: The USK classification is only mandatory for games that are released on physical media. Purely online titles, which can only be obtained as downloads, are not required to undergo mandatory certification. However, there is a voluntary option for a USK certification.
Curiously, the evaluation likely applies only to the versions on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. The mobile versions appear not to have undergone any assessment yet.
What is changing now for the players? First of all, nothing, because the USK rating only applies here and is unlikely to prompt Epic to change game content.
World Champion Bugha is only 16, but he has probably already started gaming before.
However, some children who are not yet 12 years old might now be kept away from Fortnite, as parents may not allow their children to play a game that is not age-appropriate according to the USK.
The minimum age for tournaments in Fortnite – like the big WM 2019 recently – is currently 13 years. According to the USK, German players are therefore supposed to start playing officially only one year before the official tournament age.
On the other hand, such classifications are only binding for retailers. For parents, they are merely recommendations that are not always followed, as an example from England shows:
In Fortnite Week 2 of Season 10 is underway and offers you new tasks. The task is: Spray a fountain, a junkyard crane, and a vending machine.
What kind of task is this? In Season 10 of Fortnite: Battle Royale, missions known as tasks are unlocked for you regularly. In Week 2 of Season 10, the mission series is called “Spray and Pray.” The task presented here is among the first 3 challenges.
In this task, you need to use the spray bottle at 3 different locations. We will show you where you can find these on the map of Fortnite.
Keep in mind that you do not need to complete this task in a single match, but can take your time.
Where is the fountain in Fortnite Season 10?
Here you should look: Right in the middle of Mega Mall, you will find a big fountain. It is located right in front of the pizza place. Players report that there is usually a chest to open on the fountain as well – so grab that while you’re at it.
Which grid square? At coordinates H6, you will find the fountain.
Where is the junkyard crane in Fortnite?
Here you should look: From the description of the junkyard, most of you probably already figured out that it goes to Junk Junction. There are 2 cranes standing around there. However, you are likely supposed to spray the one located in the junkyard and not the one at the entrance gate.
Which grid square? At coordinates B1 / B2, you will find Junk Junction and the crane you are looking for.
Where are vending machines in Fortnite? Vending machine map
Here you should look: On the map of Fortnite, you will find vending machines everywhere. However, you need to be lucky that they have spawned. If you’re already at the crane in the junkyard, you can keep an eye out there as well.
On the map from ProgameGuides, you will find all the locations where vending machines could be located. However, there is no guarantee that there will be a machine there in every match. So it is possible that you will have to check several locations to finally find a machine.
As expected, numerous players participated in the test and gathered on the servers. However, this also led to the starting areas being overcrowded, and players had to be patient. The discipline they exhibited and the respect they showed to each other is remarkable.
What happened? In the starting area of the Orcs in Durotar, there is a quest line that ends with players needing to kill the dangerous scorpion Sarkoth. The problem is: dozens of players have to kill the scorpion. In WoW Classic, however, there was no “shared mob tagging” yet. This means that only players in the same group can loot a foe.
For the rest of the players, the mob turns “gray” as soon as another group has attacked it. This could theoretically lead to a dispute over who attacks the mob first to secure the loot. Not, however, during the Classic test.

Players line up politely: As the video shows, players solved the problem differently. Instead of fighting each other by wildly spamming abilities around the scorpion Sarkoth, they politely formed a line and waited their turn.
More than 20 people lined up and patiently waited for their turn to kill the scorpion.
Quests like 15 years ago: For many players, this is exactly the “Classic” feeling. It consists of consideration for one another and also a certain deceleration and relaxation. Due to the waiting times, there are also more social interactions while waiting for a common goal.
Whether this will also be the case at the actual launch of Classic remains to be seen. However, those who are on an “ego tour” should not be surprised if their reputation on the server is soon ruined…
Not even the world champion in Fortnite, Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf, stands a chance against the new mechs. After being crushed by a B.I.E.S.T. live on a Twitch stream, the outcry was huge. The protest against the powerful vehicles is now so massive that Epic is likely on the verge of a nerf.
Who is Bugha? He recently won 3 million USD just a few weeks ago when he became the world champion in the Fortnite Solo World Cup with his outstanding gameplay.
This was shortly after his world championship victory.
Mech 1 – World Champion 0
This was the situation: On August 7, Bugha was live on Twitch with top players Timothy “Bizzle” Miller and Danny “Dubs” Walsh. They were playing the new “Trio” mode in arena format.
During the stream, Bugha enthusiastically builds structures that brought him so much success at the world championship. But the mech has no problems with that. Bugha still screams in Terminator style: “I will take care of the robot,” only to be crushed shortly after.
After that, he yells: “Oh my God. I will never play this game again” and logs off immediately.
Seconds later, he has calmed down a bit and says: “Epic Games, take them out immediately. I know you are watching my stream. Take them out.”
The announcement of never playing again had probably already faded away.
Building and shooting, which is so important to pros, does little against the “beasts”. The driver can crush everything while the shooter still blasts his victims with shotguns and rockets.
Epic has already announced that they will reassess the strength of the mechs. At the moment, everyone is expecting a nerf for the beasts soon – maybe already in the update next week or even via a hotfix.
This is what it’s about: At the beginning of a season, Epic often brings something that completely shakes Fortnite up and caters to the “casual players”.
The online shooter Apex Legends was supposed to have a major appearance on the sports channel ESPN this coming Sunday. However, due to the recent shootings in the USA and likely because of the statement from President Trump, that will not happen now.
What was planned? The major US sports channel ESPN had planned a 2-hour special on eSports for Sunday, August 11th. It was supposed to be a highlight show of the tournament “EXP Invitational APEX Legends at X Games”.
The tournament itself already took place from August 2nd to 3rd in Minneapolis at the X Games. The show on ESPN was meant to emphasize the highlights and best moments, and likely also bring eSports closer to the mainstream.
But now it has been announced that the show will not take place. Instead, there will be a documentary about hockey at the same broadcast time.
Shooting ruins eSports show
Why won’t the tournament be shown anymore? According to a tweet from eSports specialist Rod “Slasher” Breslau, the recent shootings in the USA are the reason for the cancellation of the show.

“Out of respect for the victims and all those affected by the recent shootings, ABC [the media group behind ESPN] will no longer broadcast “EXP Invitational APEX Legends at X Games” on Sunday, August 11th.”
According to Rod Breslau, however, the show might still be seen later on the channel ESPN3. Additionally, the show is already available on the network’s YouTube channel; only the public TV broadcast is affected.
The cancellation of the eSports event was, by the way, already dated for August 6th, just 2 days after the last shooting in Dayton.
Fans criticize the channel’s decision
What could be the reasons for the cancellation? The channel’s decision not to show games with violent content fits well with the general discussion currently taking place in the USA. Because conservative politicians along with President Trump currently believe that violent video games could lead to shootings.
How does the community react? Many users do not understand the channel’s actions and express their opinions on Twitter and Reddit:
“Enough respect for the victims to cancel an event, but not enough respect to really ban weapons and save people!”
“What a ridiculous decision that has nothing to do with respect!”
“This is really sad, I can hardly believe you equate these shootings with video games. You’re just punishing yourselves and making fools of yourselves!”
“Out of respect for the victims? More like, because our president decided by chance that games have something to do with shootings.”
“Many lives will probably be saved because ABC is not broadcasting this show on Sunday.”
“Holy shit, there is zero evidence to support such dumb claims!”
However, there is also understanding for the decision:
“An Apex tournament would essentially be constant shooting and killing and not much more. That’s what the game is about. TV channels have often made such decisions after shootings. The Punisher was also postponed by 2 weeks because of the Vegas shooting.”
What is your opinion on the action? Should one refrain from depicting violence in games on TV following horrific acts of violence?
In The Division 2, we present the best armor talents that are particularly recommended for skill builds and hybrid builds after Title Update 5.
For which builds are the talents suitable? In The Division 2, you have many options to build unique builds. Skill builds were long considered useless, but with the recent Title Update 5, they have finally become really good options.
YouTuber LtBuzzLitebeer has analyzed all talents in The Division 2 and has pointed out which ones are currently particularly suitable for the powerful skill builds. However, these are not only good for skill builds; you can also apply them for your hybrid builds. Below the video, we present the best armor talents that you should loot or craft, in German:

Destructive (Destructive) – The best passive utility talent
This is what the talent “Destructive” does: You gain +20% explosion damage.
This makes the talent so strong: Destructive is currently one of the best talents for skill builds. Especially for this bombastic drone build. With it, you can significantly increase the explosion damage your skills deal.
Destructive can be found in all 6 armor slots. And if you equip 6x Destructive, you will blast away all enemies.
More good passive utility talents:
Capacitive: This talent gives +20% skill duration. However, the bonus is relatively low, which is why you should increase skill duration with mods instead.
Empowered: This talent gives +10% skill strength. However, you better increase this bonus with armor attributes.
Calculated (Calculated) – A strong, active utility talent
This is what the talent “Calculated” does: Kills from cover reduce the active cooldown of skills by 10%.
This makes the talent so strong: In The Division 2, you should spend most of your time in cover. And since you only need to achieve kills from cover for the talent bonus, Calculated constantly ensures that you can use your skills more often.
More good active utility talents:
Deceptive Death: Status effects spread to the next enemy within 10m. Can occur once every 15 seconds. If you have a build that relies on status effects like burns, this is a useful talent.
Talented: With kills using skills, there is a 25% chance to reset active skill cooldowns. This is a really good talent that, while not reliable (only 25%), can decide between life and death in practice.
Technical Assistance: Kills through active skills grant +25% skill damage for 10 seconds. A must-have talent for skill builds.
Terminator: Destroying an enemy’s armor grants +35% skill damage for 15 seconds. This is the best talent to increase skill damage. However, it is only useful in certain situations.
Compensated: Weapon damage is increased by 15% when critical hit chance is below 20%. If you primarily build around skills and not at all on crits, you can still deal solid weapon damage with this talent.
On the Ropes: Weapon damage increases by 25% when all skills are on cooldown. Activate all your skills that already deal good damage, and then take advantage of this talent by having increased weapon damage on top of that. This way you bridge the time until you can use the skills again.
Impact Charge: Destroying an enemy skill helper grants +50% explosion damage for 15 seconds. If you have skills that deal explosion damage, this is a good talent that significantly increases damage. It can only be found on chest pieces.
Explorer: +20% weapon damage to enemies marked by the pulse. +20% is a substantial boost. Additionally, your teammates also benefit as they deal more damage from the pulse generator. This talent can only be found on masks.
Malicious: +10% weapon damage to enemies affected by status effects. If you use skills that inflict status effects, you have a good talent with Malicious.
Wargaming, the creators of World of Tanks, are planning a new game called Caliber. It is set to be a tactical shooter that emphasizes teamwork and planning. This makes it particularly interesting for older players.
What is Caliber? Wargaming is mainly known for its tank epic World of Tanks. However, the Belarusians are currently planning, together with 1C Game Studios, the next military game: the shooter Caliber.
This time it is not about heavy tanks, warships, or airplanes. Instead, you will be operating as a member of a military special unit, fighting in PvE and PvP.

What makes Caliber special? As a major unique selling point, Caliber aims to focus on tactical combat and teamwork. It should not be the player with the best reflexes who wins, but rather the team that proceeds thoughtfully and tactically. Four players should act together as a team.
This also involves making optimal use of the chosen class. The options are to be Assault Soldier, Support, Medic, and Sniper. Caliber fully embraces realism, featuring authentic weapons and uniforms from real special units, such as the German KSK, the US Navy SEALs, or the Polish GROM.
Through the focus on teamwork and less on quick reflexes, as well as the serious, realistic look, Caliber aims to attract primarily older shooter fans who are less interested in fast, frantic action like in Fortnite or Call of Duty.
Caliber will be available for free as a free-to-play game for PC. After extensive testing in Russia, you can try it out for the first time at Gamescom 2019 starting August 20, 2019.
On August 6, the MMORPG Legends of Aria was released in Early Access on Steam. We took a look at the first reactions and will tell you what the game does well and where its weaknesses lie.
What is Legends of Aria? Legends of Aria is a sandbox MMORPG where you have to set your own goals to enjoy the game world.
Your character has no class; instead, you improve it by leveling skills. You can also avoid combat and pursue your path as a merchant or craftsman.
Originally, the MMORPG was known as Shards Online and relied on community-created servers. Players were supposed to set their own rules and modify stories and quests.
This system is still present in Legends of Aria, although the developers have created their own world in which you can let loose.
How is Legends of Aria rated on Steam? Currently, the reviews for the MMORPG are very balanced. 55% of the 125 ratings are positive.
However, the number is still low, and many reviews are based on experiences players have had outside of Steam. The game has been playable for supporters who invested money earlier for a significantly longer time.
Is Legends of Aria an Ultima Online 2.0?
How is Legends of Aria structured? In the reviews, the comparison to Ultima Online is often drawn. The reason for this is the many freedoms and the sandbox aspect.
CUFreeze: “As a former UO player, the game is really super. It’s like turning back time – just paired with more modern graphics.”
Deathsummer: “The game is a mix of Runescape and Ultima Online.”
User Sanitarium666 highlights the crafting system and housing. However, he also warns players that they will hardly be guided and have to set their goals entirely on their own.
Player Kugelfang goes even further and points out that the game also involves grind. While necessary, he believes it doesn’t result in significant time pressure or stress.
The fact that the entry can be really tough is also confirmed by the review from Werfgun. He finds the game too difficult and is also unhappy with the graphic style. The game already seems old to him and thus doesn’t make a good impression.

What do the positive reviews highlight particularly? Besides the many freedoms in the sandbox game, the community servers and the associated mods are especially praised.
As user Stimwalt writes:
Most people who rate the game have no idea that it is actually a platform game. Community modders can create their own world within the Legends of Aria engine. Their games can be completely different from the official LoA. […]
And there are already servers [..] that use the original ruleset and gameplay from Ultima Online. Players just have to go to the community tab after logging in and select “Legends of Ultima.”
This opinion is shared by many other users. Felty256 even goes so far as to try to make Legends of Aria an RTS game with his own creatures.
What about PvP? In the positive reviews, much is also discussed about the latest changes to PvP. The developers have declared many mid-game areas in the official Legends of Aria as safe zones with consensual PvP.
Some players appreciate this change, who would rather focus on crafting. They do not understand why one must attack and even kill weaker players.
Others criticize this and at the same time accuse the developers of being aimless.
Developers give a clueless impression
Where is Legends of Aria headed? Many players wonder what the actual goal of the MMORPG is. Originally, only community servers were planned, but now Legends of Aria offers its own world.
This world initially resembled Ultima Online quite a bit, but many recent changes are moving the game in a different direction. The reduction of open-world PvP is seen by many as a dagger in the back of the game’s original concept.
User IDiivil writes:
The developers have no real vision for the game. Their plans are based on aimless feedback implemented in the worst form.
The Archery Tamer was too strong a build and the developers weakened it so much that it became useless due to movement delays, halved damage, and missing skills.
This happened not only with that build but with every other system in the game.
Janus10 describes Legends of Aria as a game where he cannot explain why it does not feel good for him. All areas are unfinished, and it lacks a sense of reward. In his view, the game could still develop positively in the future.
Some backers are particularly disappointed
Why are LoA backers disappointed? Some players invested a lot of money in Legends of Aria beforehand. While you currently only have to pay 16.49 euros for the Early Access on Steam, some of them spent 100 dollars or more.
For this, they were also promised special items and benefits that are still not in the game today. Backers were supposed to have a head start that was reset with a rollback.
Also, the delay of the Steam release, which was originally planned for December 4, 2018, still lingers for some.
What about the performance of LoA? With new games in Early Access, performance is always closely scrutinized. This seems to not be a complete disaster for Legends of Aria, but users complain they cannot get beyond 15 or 20 FPS.
What has been your experience with Legends of Aria so far? Have you ever visited a community server yourself?
Alongside the Shadowkeep expansion, numerous fans are already looking forward to the new Cross-Save feature of Destiny 2. Now Bungie has finally revealed when it will officially launch. You won’t have to wait long for it.
When does Cross-Save start for Destiny 2? Originally, Cross-Save was supposed to launch in the fall. However, Bungie has expedited this feature and finally announced a concrete launch date.
Guardians who switch to another platform or want to play on multiple platforms have been able to use Cross-Save since August 21.
What is Cross-Save and how does it work? With Cross-Save, it will soon be possible to share a save file across different platforms on which you play Destiny 2. The principle is simple:
You link your accounts with the Bungie account.
Next, you select a main account or save with the characters you want to play.
This progress/save will be shared and available on all other platforms on which you play Destiny 2.
This will finally make it possible to unify your adventures across multiple platforms. You will then carry your gear, weapons, and loot to other platforms. What you earn on one platform can be used everywhere – no matter where you play.
What you should note about Cross-Save: Free content like Destiny 2: New Light can be used across platforms through Cross-Save without hurdles.
However, paid content such as the Destiny 2 expansions Forsaken or Shadowkeep will also need to be purchased on a new or different platform – even if you already own them on another platform. This is the only way you can access the contents of the expansions there as well.
Cross-Save will save all your gear, your characters, and your items across all platforms – regardless of which expansion you own.
However, there is no way to merge accounts, silver (real money currency), characters, or progress from multiple accounts. The characters, items, triumphs, etc., correspond to your selected save. Characters from other saves cannot be used with everything that belongs to them as long as Cross-Save is active.
Additionally, Cross-Save should not be confused with Cross-Play. Players on Google Stadia, PC, PS4, and Xbox One will not be able to play together. The player searches are still separated for the individual platforms.
What to expect until the release of Shadowkeep: What to expect in and out of Destiny 2 until the release of the big fall expansion, find out here:
Are you looking forward to the Cross-Save feature and will you use it? Or are you not interested at all and will remain loyal to your current platform?
A new leak about Call of Duty 2020 has come to light. It says that it is supposed to be a reboot of Black Ops and even more brutal than Modern Warfare.
Where does the leak come from? This comes from “LongSensation”. He is known for numerous leaks around Call of Duty. For instance, he also revealed the name of Modern Warfare.
Now the leaker is also commenting on the next Call of Duty, which surprisingly is supposed to be released in 2020. This aligns with the report from Kotaku, which previously reported on the new installment in May.
Reboot of Black Ops in the Cold War
This is what the leak says: On Twitter, LongSensation writes that the new Call of Duty currently has two names:
This part is supposed to be a reboot of the Black Ops series. This would be just like Modern Warfare, which is coming out this October. This too is a reboot.
According to the leak, the story is supposed to cover the entire years around the wars in Korea and Vietnam. You will dive into multiple regions and not just one, according to the leaker.
Furthermore, this part is supposed to be even more gruesome than Modern Warfare, which is already depicted as brutally realistic. The wars it addresses would fit, as these were considered particularly horrible.
How credible is the leak? In the end, this is a leak and not official information from the developers. Nevertheless, the leaker has often been correct and enjoys a high reputation among many fans.
LongSensation has claimed that the new Modern Warfare is probably going to be the most controversial game in the series. So far he seems to be right based on early findings, as the developers address many horrible aspects of warfare here.
Activision Blizzard, the major publisher, has announced its quarterly results for the second quarter of 2019. How have player numbers for Blizzard’s games Hearthstone and Overwatch developed? And what is the status of subscriptions in the MMORPG World of Warcraft?
Activision Blizzard has announced its quarterly results for the second quarter of 2019. There are also some insights into player numbers for Blizzard’s big games. Activision Blizzard is announcing trends here.
What is the general situation? Things are not going super well for Activision Blizzard right now. After the announcement of the numbers for the quarter from April to June 30, 2019, the stock price fell by 3%.
Activision Blizzard had 1.4 billion dollars in revenue, which is slightly less than the 1.64 billion dollars in the second quarter of 2018.
For the third quarter of 2019, Activision Blizzard is providing an estimate that is below what Wall Street expects. Therefore, the stock price is struggling – the situation on the stock market is already difficult due to Trump’s warning about violent video games.
Their rise was the highlight in WoW last quarter.
Blizzard stable in monthly active users
What are the player numbers? Blizzard had 32 million active users in the quarter. That’s the same as the last quarter.
It is said that players spent more time on Blizzard games per day compared to 2018.
Monthly active users are players who have logged in at least once a month. Activision Blizzard then adds the users over the three months and divides by three to get this value for the quarter.
Activision Blizzard highlights the Overwatch League. Here, the hours watched have increased compared to 2018. Over the season, the audience and the minutes each person watches on average have increased by double digits percentage-wise.

WoW Classic and Azshara bring more subscriptions
What about subscriptions for WoW? It is reported that the number of subscribers for WoW has increased since mid-May, after the release date and beta for World of Warcraft Classic were announced and the content update “Rise of Azshara” was released.
Activision Blizzard has not provided specific subscription numbers for WoW in some time.
Because the numbers for Hearthstone, WoW, and Overwatch increased or remained the same, while the number of monthly active users stayed constant, it is assumed that titles like Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2 have lost some players. However, Activision Blizzard does not provide details here.
Currently, too few new games are being released. For 2019, Activision Blizzard has little major aside from the annual Call of Duty in the pipeline.
They are now repeatedly saying that they are working to develop more new brands and games and therefore expanding the teams. But this all takes time.
Diablo Immortal seems somewhat lost.
Waiting for Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4
This is the new announcement: CEO Bobby Kotick has now stated that Activision Blizzard has prioritized investments in key franchises in the first half of 2019. In the second half of the year, players might see the first results of these investments.
In Fallout 76, Patch 12 is on the way. Bethesda gives you a first look and especially makes the show-offs happy, as you can now display your finds.
This feature is coming: Patch 12 will bring display cases for your C.A.M.P. There you can showcase any finds you’ve accumulated over the months.
This will please many fans, as you can now flaunt particularly rare items and showcase them for your friends in Appalachia.
You can set up to 30 cases and showcase everything from weapons to comics. In your stash, you can simply select the desired item and assign it to a display case.
The trophy indicates when an item is in the display case
However, some players are concerned about this new feature. They think it’s cool to showcase special items, but they are worried about their inventory space. After all, it’s limited, and the items in the display cases could take up unnecessary space.
What else is included in Patch 12
Here’s what is being remodeled: The Charleston Capitol is getting a new look. As Bethesda announces, they have revised the floor plan of the building to better fit the story.
The Charleston Capitol is being remodeled
The quest line “Keys to the Past” is supposed to play out even more excitingly. Additionally, you can adjust the difficulty level in the building twice. The main area of the Capitol buildings and the courthouse wing can now have different difficulties.
Finally carrying more caps: The wealthy players among you will be pleased: The upper limit of 25,000 caps is set to be increased to 30,000 caps with Patch 12.
This should make saving for expensive items easier and comes at the right time, as a lot of caps can be earned with the vending machines from Patch 9.
Changes in Nuclear Winter: The battle royale mode of Fallout 76 will also receive some adjustments. These are mainly balancing adjustments that aim to make weapons stronger or weaker.
Additionally, there will be the “Quick Stairs” kit in Nuclear Winter. This allows you to quickly ascend steep buildings.
When will Patch 12 be released? Bethesda indicates the approximate timeframe as the end of the month. So we still have to wait a bit until we can finally show off our finds.
Have you heard about this moving story of two players?
In World of Warcraft there are currently free character boosts to level 100. At least if you meet a few requirements.
Those who have been away from World of Warcraft for a few months or years may face some barriers in the game. Perhaps the characters are too low-level or one has played a class that is no longer fun at all. To make returning to World of Warcraft a bit easier, Blizzard is currently giving away plenty of character boosts to level 100.
Who is the boost for? It is still not entirely clear which players are being offered the gift. According to the statements of some players, the account has been inactive on average for 2 years. Those who have not maintained a subscription for that long should check to see if they have received a boost. By the way, this can be redeemed until the end of October.
How to redeem the boost? Redeeming the boost is quite simple through the Battle.net launcher. There you will find an extra button for “Gifts” that also suspiciously blinks if you have received one. Select the boost there and click “Redeem” so you can use the boost in the game afterwards.
Why does the boost only go up to level 100? Some players wonder why the character boost only goes to level 100 and not up to 110, as the current boost in the shop offers. This can only be speculated upon.
The most likely reason is that Blizzard wants to try to attract some former players back to the current World of Warcraft with the release of WoW Classic. With a boost to level 100, players could directly enter the areas of Legion and experience interesting content for 10 levels. If the boost went to level 110, players would first have to buy “Battle for Azeroth” to have something to do with it.
This way, players have the opportunity to test the current game for a few levels and only then decide on a purchase.
Will you use the boost? Or have you not received this gift? Do you think it’s good how Blizzard wants to bring players back?

Battle royale was introduced in Call of Duty with Black Ops 4 in the form of Blackout, but is tied to the main game. So anyone who wanted to play battle royale in Call of Duty had to buy Black Ops 4.
If battle royale were now decoupled from the main game, many more players could try out this mode and fill the servers. Because the blackout mode from Black Ops 4 is popular among players. However, many interested players or pure battle royale enthusiasts have been deterred by the fact that blackout was only available in connection with the paid game. But this might change with the next installment of the series.
