In the new Japanese TV commercial for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, players have discovered a slippery new monster that fans of the series will recognize.
With only a few weeks left until the release of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on September 6, the developers are revealing more and more new monsters that will appear with the expansion. The latest monster is Yian Garuga.
Who is Yian Garuga? The monster was first introduced in the game Monster Hunter Freedom. It is a bird wyvern that is a larger and more aggressive version of the lively monster Yian Kut-Ku and can be a real nuisance.
Yian Garuga as it appeared in Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate
Not only is the beast as aggressive as a Rathian, it also has a large arsenal of annoying traits:
It can fly
Its scream is stunning
It has an annoying poisonous tail
Can also spit fire
It is ugly as night
These traits have earned the monster the affectionate nickname “Psycho Chicken” in the community. Yian Garuga appears for a few frames in the new Japanese TV commercial for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne:

In Monster Hunter World, the monsters from earlier titles have always received some new tricks to keep the veterans of the series on their toes. So one can be curious about what Yian Garuga will bring to Iceborne.
What the community says: On Twitter and Reddit, the announcement of Yian Garuga has caused a wave of groans. The veterans of the Monster Hunter series know exactly what to expect, and user HuCat21 wrote:
New hunters should be worried. It’s not a tough fight, it’s an annoying fight. Unless his new version has new moves that make him difficult…
User Gaijinhunter has released a gif from the TV commercial on Twitter, showcasing Yian Garuga, and the comments under the post are filled with old hunters commenting on the monster.
We all love him, we just can’t admit it after he whooped our asses dozens of times.
In the new coop shooter Remnant: From the Ashes , players only see about half of the game in a single run. However, this is set to change soon with the “Adventure Mode” – with this endgame, players can then engage in specific activities.
This is the situation: Currently, players do not see everything that Remnant: From the Ashes has to offer during a playthrough.
The game will be supported as long as fans want it
What else is coming? The developers have announced that they will support the game as long as it is desired by the fans. This is now a foundation to build upon.
There are plans for:
New biomes
Improvements to existing biomes
New weapons
And mechanics to change the base campaign
Apparently, the developers also have an “Adventure Mods Plus” in mind, where players can then play “endlessly replayed biomes” – but there is still very little information on this. The developers state in the AMA: “Everything is possible.”
In Pokémon GO it is always the rarest to have a Pokémon with 100% IV. But how rare is the chance of that?
These are the Pokémon in question: Each Pokémon has its own IV. These can vary between 0% and 100%. A Pokémon is strongest when it has 100% IV.
The chance of getting such a Pokémon is, however, very low. In most cases, it is even rarer than finding a Shiny. But what exactly is your chance?
Your chances of 100% IV
Here a distinction must be made: There are various ways to obtain Pokémon. Each method also has a different chance of getting a 100er, as the minimum values of the IV vary. We show you the respective probabilities:
Method
Minimum of all values
Probability
Lucky Pokémon
Every value at least 12
1 in 64
Crypto Pokémon with weather bonus
Every value at least 4 + 2 by redeeming
1 in 64
Crypto Pokémon without weather bonus
Every value at least 0 + 2 by redeeming
1 in 153
Eggs/Raid bosses/Quests
Every value at least 10

Trade with best friend
Every value at least 5
1 in 1331
Pokémon with weather bonus
Every value at least 4
1 in 1728
Trade with ultra friend
Every value at least 3

1 in 2744
Trade with good friend
Every value at least 1
1 in 3375
Pokémon in the wild
Every value at least 0
1 in 4096
So who is lucky in the wild and catches a 100% IV Pokémon without a weather bonus theoretically had to click on 4096 Pokémon.
When comparing this to the shiny rate in the wild, which is 1 in 450, 100ers are significantly rarer.
For good IV, you should trade Pokémon
How do I best get Pokémon with 100% IV? The best chance is unsurprisingly through trading. But also Crypto Pokémon have good chances for a 100% IV Pokémon, as each monster receives a boost of 2 in every value after redemption.
The friendship level can also increase the probability. So if you exchange diligently every day, you should do it with best friends. That’s where the probability of getting a good Pokémon is highest.
The security specialists from Cyren have discovered a hack in Fortnite that could theoretically endanger millions of players. It is ransomware disguised as an “Aimbot.” The company warns about the Aimbot and explains what happens when the file is executed.
What does the warning refer to? According to Cyren, it concerns the Aimbot “Syrk” with the filename “SyndeyFortniteHacks.exe”:
The Aimbot promises to improve players’ aiming in Fortnite
In fact, it aims to exploit the user’s money and wants to squeeze it out of them
Cyren believes the hack is distributed through download sites or Fortnite forums.
This is the ransom message that players receive. Source: Cyren
Ransomware encrypts the user’s data
What does this hack do? Anyone who downloads the “Aimbot” receives a 12 MB file. Those who execute this exe first disable their Windows Defender and deactivate further options to combat the malware.
After that, Syrk encrypts the user’s files such as images, videos, and documents.
Ultimately, the user receives a message stating they must contact an email address and then “pay” an unspecified amount. There is the email contact where they should do exactly that. If they do not do so within two hours, all data would gradually be deleted, it says.
The ransomware creates a sense of urgency with countdowns, making the user feel they must act immediately.
What can be done about it? Anyone who has actually downloaded and executed this Aimbot will find information on the Cyren website on how to decrypt the data.
The ransomware being used is open source – it is therefore possible to decrypt the data.
Otherwise, the simple advice to avoid downloading any Aimbot helps.
Here the user should enter the “purchased” password.
Fortnite in the focus of the bad guys
Why are hacks so common in Fortnite?Hackers are increasingly targeting Fortnite, due to the game’s massive install base. With 250 million players, many of whom are young, the game is a prime candidate for such programs – even if this hack apparently only endangers PC players, the number of potential victims remains huge.
Security companies like Cyren uncover such hacks and provide detailed reports on what is happening and how to protect oneself.
8 races are available in WoW Classic. But which race has the strongest bonuses? Which class should you choose with your race? We provide tips for the best combinations of class and race.
In World of Warcraft Classic, there is not as much freedom in class selection as in the retail version of WoW, but still, the combination of class and race (often referred to as “race”) should be chosen wisely. In Classic, there are significant racial bonuses that can make a few percentage points of performance or provide nice bonuses in PvP. We reveal the advantages of all races and explain which classes they suit best.
[toc]
Alliance Races
We start with the races of the Alliance. Here, the popular Humans are an option, but also the cozy Night Elves as well as the slightly smaller Dwarves and Gnomes.
Humans
These bonuses are held by Humans: Humans have a number of strong bonuses that will especially please fans of reputation farming.
Diplomacy: Increases reputation gain by 10%.
Sword Specialization: Skill with swords and two-handed swords is increased by 5.
Mace Specialization: Skill with maces and two-handed maces is increased by 5.
Available Classes: Mage, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, Warrior
These classes are particularly suited: The racial bonuses ensure that almost all classes are particularly strong with Humans. Only the Warlock does not benefit from the weapon specializations or the Willpower.
Dwarves
These bonuses are held by Dwarves: Coming from the cold regions and with their origin in stone, Dwarves are particularly resilient and protected against cold.
Frost Resistance: Frost resistance is increased by 10.
Treasure Hunter: Dwarves can display treasures (treasure chests) on the mini-map.
Gun Specialization: Gun skill is increased by 5.
Stone Form: Grants immunity to bleeding, poison, and disease for 8 seconds, and armor is increased by 10%. 3 minutes cooldown.
Available Classes: Hunter, Paladin, Priest, Rogue, Warrior
These classes are particularly suited: The Hunter is the optimal class for Dwarves as he can make use of the gun specialization. The Stone Form also allows Warriors and Paladins to shine as tanks.
Night Elves
These bonuses are held by Night Elves: Night Elves are agile and can hide in the shadows. This makes them unexpected threats in PvP.
Wisp Form: Upon death, the Night Elf is transformed into a Wisp that moves 50% faster.
Nature Resistance: Nature resistance is increased by 10.
Agility: Chance to dodge is increased by 1%.
Shadow Meld: When activated, stealth is engaged, making it harder for enemies to detect the Night Elf. Cannot be used in combat. Night Elf Rogues and Druids receive a passive additional bonus to their stealth and are even harder to detect. 10 seconds cooldown.
Available Classes: Druid, Hunter, Priest, Rogue, Warrior
These classes are particularly suited: Rogues and Druids benefit from a better stealth ability. Warrior tanks enjoy a better chance to dodge.
Gnomes
These bonuses are held by Gnomes: Gnomes are particularly intelligent and technologically skilled. Due to their small size, they can easily escape captivity.
Arcane Resistance: Arcane resistance is increased by 10.
Tech Savvy: Engineering skill is increased by 15.
Alert Mind: Intelligence is increased by 5%.
Escape Artist: When used, you escape all effects that cause immobilization or slow you down. 1 minute cooldown.
Available Classes: Mage, Rogue, Warlock, Warrior
These classes are particularly suited: Mages and Warlocks, as the increased intelligence leads to more mana and stronger spells (critical hit chance).
The Horde is a bit “wilder” in Classic and has fewer “pretty” races. However, they make up for this with cool racial bonuses from Orcs, Tauren, Trolls, and Undead.
Orcs
These bonuses are held by Orcs: Orcs still have their bloodlust from Warcraft III. This is a strong buff but also comes with a significant drawback.
Axe Specialization: Skill with axes and two-handed axes is increased by 5.
Commanding Presence: Hunter pets and Warlock companions deal 5% more damage.
Stamina: The chance to resist stun effects is increased by 25%.
Blood Fury: Increases the base value of attack power by 25% for 15 seconds. However, the healing received is reduced by 50% for 25 seconds. 2 minutes cooldown.
Available Classes: Hunter, Rogue, Shaman, Warlock, Warrior
These classes are particularly suited: Especially Hunters, as they benefit from both Commanding Presence and Blood Fury. But all other classes are also a good choice for Orcs.
Undead
These bonuses are held by Undead: Undead are known for their iron will, making it nearly impossible to control them.
Shadow Resistance: Shadow resistance is increased by 10.
Underwater Breathing: Undead can stay underwater for 300% longer before beginning to drown.
Cannibalism: When activated, recovers 7% of health every 2 seconds for 10 seconds. Can only be used when humanoid or undead corpses are nearby. Damage taken or movement breaks the effect. 2 minutes cooldown.
Will of the Forsaken: Grants immunity to charm, fear, and sleep for 5 seconds. Can be used while affected by these effects. 2 minutes cooldown.
Available Classes: Mage, Priest, Rogue, Warlock, Warrior
These classes are particularly suited: All classes are suitable for Undead. The Will of the Forsaken makes them a top choice, especially in PvP.
Tauren
These bonuses are held by Tauren: Tauren are large and nature-connected. They can withstand a lot and are therefore suitable as front-line fighters.
Toughness: Total health is increased by 5%.
Green Thumb: Herbalism is increased by 15.
Nature Resistance: Nature resistance is increased by 10.
War Stomp: Stuns all enemies within 8 meters for 2 seconds when activated.
Available Classes: Druid, Hunter, Shaman, Warrior
These classes are particularly suited: Tauren are perfect as Warrior tanks with their increased health.
Trolls
These bonuses are held by Trolls: Trolls are known for their strong regeneration and berserker effect. The more wounded they are, the more threatening they become.
Bow Specialization: Skill with bows is increased by 5.
Thrown Weapon Specialization: Skill with thrown weapons is increased by 5.
Beast Slayer: Damage dealt to wild animals is increased by 5%.
Regeneration: Health regeneration is increased by 10%. Additionally, 10% of total health regeneration continues during combat.
Berserker: Increases attack and spell speed by 10% to 30% for 10 seconds. The effect is stronger the more wounded the Troll is at activation. 3 minutes cooldown. Consumes 7% of base mana, 5 rage, or 10 energy upon activation.
Available Classes: Hunter, Mage, Priest, Rogue, Shaman, Warrior
These classes are particularly suited: Hunters benefit the most from the bonuses, but Shamans are also a good choice.
In all of this, you should not forget that in WoW Classic, fun should be the priority. And what good is it to have the most effective combination with a Tauren Warrior if you can’t stand the Tauren butt after a week?
Play what you enjoy the most!
At the end of the day, racial bonuses are just small nuances and details that define a character a bit more precisely. Only those who really want to get the “optimum” out of their character should base their racial choice on this. It is probably not going to happen that someone is excluded from a group or unable to overcome certain content because of their race.
A curious thing has emerged in Destiny 2. The exclusive weapon for PS4, Wave Splitter, can now be obtained by players on Xbox One and PC through Cross-Save, but they cannot use the weapon back on their platform. The console exclusivity is coming to an end soon, but it takes one last strange turn first.
What’s up with exclusive weapons? Since the launch of Destiny 1, there has been a deal between Activision Blizzard and Sony that concerned Destiny.
Players on PlayStation received certain items or activities exclusively: sometimes an exotic weapon, sometimes a strike. After a year, players on Xbox One could then partake in those activities or use the items.
Sony also liked to rub it under everyone’s nose with the “PS4 Exclusive.”
The preferential treatment of PS4 players has caused years of gritting teeth and annoyed eye-rolling among the other Guardians – especially because the exotic weapons that were only available on PS4 were often really good, like the Hawkmoon, a cult weapon.
This is the catch: As Gamespot reports, players can only use the Wave Splitter while they are on PS4. Once they return to their home platform, Wave Splitter can no longer be used.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has just launched the first Open Alpha in 2v2 mode on PlayStation 4. Additionally, there is a new map along with a gameplay variant that resembles Battle Royale.
What is currently happening in the Modern Warfare Alpha? From August 23 to 26, 2019, the multiplayer alpha of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is currently running. However, it is only available on PlayStation 4 and only in the 2v2 “Gunfight” mode.
This is included in the new Pickup mode: In a summary of the current Alpha on Reddit, the developers announced a new map along with a game mode variation. This is expected to be launched over the weekend.
The new mode is called “Pickup” and will come along with a new map named “Stack”. Unlike the regular 2v2 Gunfight, here you start with just a pathetic pistol. Better weapons and equipment are scattered throughout the map and hidden in crates.
Starting as a relatively defenseless victim and desperately searching for new weapons to stay one step ahead of the opponent is a significant part of a Battle Royale battle.
This feeling is what the Pickup mode is supposed to convey. Especially since it is still unclear whether Modern Warfare will get a proper BR mode. If so, Gunfight would be the only way to satisfy your Battle Royale cravings in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.
In Apex Legends, 30 players gathered with the heroine Bangalore and attempted an experiment. What happens when all 30 activate their Airstrike ultimate at the same time?
Who is Bangalore and what is her ultimate? Bangalore is a popular heroine from Apex Legends. She is tactically versatile and can run faster when under fire and provide cover with smoke grenades. She also has a cool military badass attitude and a useful ultimate.
Her ultimate is called “Rolling Thunder” and has you throw a signal flare first. Shortly thereafter, a devastating airstrike rains down, shredding enemies and forcing them out of cover.
Let’s see what happens when we all activate the ultimate at the same time …
What was the experiment? The streamer “its_WiKeD” seems to be a fan of explosions and chaos, as he wondered something like: “What would happen if many Bangalores simultaneously launched their Rolling Thunder?”
What happened when the 30 Bangalores launched? To answer his question, he organized 30 friendly Bangalores in Solo Mode. They gathered at the bunker and all threw their airstrike signal flares from the walls simultaneously.
For a moment it was quiet, but then hell broke loose! Hundreds of projectiles suddenly rained down, causing unexpected devastation and a true fireworks display of destruction.
And I mean that literally, as suddenly the picture froze and the streamer along with his 29 helpers found themselves back in the lobby. You can watch a video of the spectacle here:
What exactly happened? Apparently, his “experiment” completely overloaded the servers and killed the game. He also saw an error message from the game indicating an engine error that stated there were “more than 8192 potentially visible objects,” which led to the crash.
So if you ever want to crash the Apex servers again, all you have to do is somehow activate 30 Bangalore ultimates at once, and that’s the end of the battle royale!
Fortnite: Battle Royale is currently losing viewers and streamed hours on Twitch. But while the battle royale game is declining, another game is gaining: Minecraft!
What’s happening on Twitch right now? Fortnite is currently experiencing losses on Twitch according to the analytics site Sullygnome. Looking at the numbers from the last 14 days (as of August 24, 2019), the following figures stand out:
Hours viewed dropped by 21.5 percent, which is over 10 million hours!
Hours streamed by broadcasters were reduced by 15.9 percent, which corresponds to over 450,000 hours.
Average viewers also decreased by 21.5 percent, which is over 32,000 viewers.
Is Fortnite done for? Not at all, the game still has over 39 million hours viewed during this time, and the numbers are impressive otherwise. However, the losses are noticeable. What could be the reason for this?
Mech controversy leads to player migration
The following could be behind the declining numbers: Fluctuations on Twitch are normal, but at the current scale there could be specific reasons. One of them is certainly the Mech. The new vehicle introduced with Season 10 has divided the player base from hour 1.
While casual players and newcomers find the device great since they can achieve success easily and without much effort, dedicated players and professionals despise it intensely. Because the Mech often decides between victory and defeat. Skill with weapons and building skills become almost irrelevant.
That Epic even defended the Mech by calling it a valuable feature for the success experiences of noobs has only added more fuel to the fire. Professional players feel marginalized and not taken seriously by the developer.
As a result, some notable players have temporarily turned their backs on Fortnite and turned to other games. TimTheTatman has been playing more Overwatch again, and CouRage, who quit a $400,000 tournament because of the Mech, can now be found more often in Minecraft.
Minecraft is a big winner on Twitch right now
What’s happening with Minecraft: Curiously, the numbers for Sullygnome for Minecraft on Twitch have been growing significantly in the last 2 weeks. They even move in a similar percentage range as the losses from Fortnite.
In total, Minecraft gained over 3 million hours of viewer time, which corresponds to an increase of 26.3 percent. There were also over 40,000 more hours of content streamed, and almost 10,000 viewers joined.
This certainly does not solely consist of ex-Fortnite fans, but since the target audience of children and teenagers for Fortnite and Minecraft is quite similar, transitions from Fortnite to Minecraft on Twitch are definitely conceivable.
A fan video on Reddit, in which the Fortnite mascot Jonesy escapes from a Mech through a magical door, lands in the Minecraft world, and there (at least temporarily) is happy, states what many players think: “Fortnite isn’t fun right now, but Minecraft is!”
Which other game is doing well? Another winner on Twitch is the MOBA DotA 2, which gained 31 million viewed hours in the last 2 weeks. However, this is likely less due to Fortnite than the big tournament “The International”.
In the battle royale sector, Apex Legends was able to increase by over 46,000 streamed hours in the last 2 weeks. Here too, migration from Fortnite is to be expected.

We have gathered 10 tips and tricks to help you get ahead in WoW Classic. Some items are almost cheating …
In the classic version of World of Warcraft, there are many items and game mechanics that are not as well balanced as in the retail version of the game. Therefore, it is sometimes possible to find items in starting areas that are still quite useful even at level 60. Additionally, there are some tricks that work in Classic that Blizzard has later rendered useless.
We will reveal to you 10 tips that give you a significant advantage over players who do not heed these tips in WoW Classic.
[toc]
Jungle Medicine
If you are traveling in Stranglethorn Vale, you will surely remember the cave with Kurzen’s henchmen. These can be found in the far north. Three types of enemies there often drop the item “Jungle Medicine”.
This is a consumable item that removes all diseases and poisons from the character upon use – even at level 60.
It is worth farming multiple stacks of the medicine, which can be dropped by Kurzen’s Medicine Man, Kurzen’s Witch Doctor, and Kurzen’s Headshrinker. Jungle Medicine is helpful in both PvP and PvE in WoW Classic. In PvP, it can be used to remove the slowing effect from a rogue, while in PvE, diseases can last up to 60 minutes.
Here you can find Jungle Medicine.
Even at level 60, Jungle Medicine is an extremely useful item that ambitious players should always keep in stock.
Hydro Staff
Underwater breathing is particularly important in WoW Classic, as some quests require you to dive into sunken shipwrecks. Since breath duration in Classic is not very long, many characters often drown – but this doesn’t have to be!
As soon as you have the opportunity, you should visit the dungeon Gnomeregan and farm the Hydro Staff. This drops from the boss Liquefied Deposit and is relatively easily accessible. The staff grants the user underwater breathing, preventing drowning.
The cool thing is that you can equip the Hydro Staff even in combat. So when your breath is running low, you can equip the staff for a few seconds and then switch back. A huge advantage, even at level 60.
Dartol’s Rod of Transformation
Dartol’s Rod of Transformation is strictly speaking a quest item, but it is one of the coolest items in the game. The player is transformed into a furbolg for 3 minutes, and the transformation only breaks if the player takes damage.
The rod was often used in PvP because when the rod is activated, the character performs an animation as if casting a holy spell. This can cause priests and paladins in PvP to “fake” casting a healing spell. Rogues and other classes then waste their interrupt ability on such nonsense – because in Classic, it’s not easy to see what spell the opponent is casting.
Alliance players can obtain the rod by questing in Ashenvale. The questline starts in Astranaar with Raene Wolfrunner and has several steps. For one of the early steps, you receive the rod as a quest reward.
It is important that you never fully complete the questline – because then the rod will be removed from your inventory and will never be available for that character again!
If you want to keep this cool item, you must forgo a few quests. However, the interesting and sometimes even useful effect is worth it.
Free Teleport without Hearthstone
In WoW Classic, it can happen that after completing a dungeon, you still have cooldown on your hearthstone. If you still want to return to the place of your hearthstone, you simply need to leave the group while still inside the dungeon. After that, a 60-second timer begins, which teleports the players to the location of their hearthstone. In current WoW, you land near the instance entrance instead.
Since the hearthstone in Classic has a respectable 60-minute cooldown, this trick can save you long travel times or wait times.
Magical Dust
Similarly useful as the medicine is the item Magical Dust, which can also be farmed endlessly. It drops from the Dust Devils in Westfall, which are enemies at level 18-19. The Dust Devils patrol the entire area and there are only about a dozen of them, so it’s better to farm with a riding mount.
The magical dust can be used to put any target into a deep sleep for 30 seconds. This works on both normal and elite enemies and significantly simplifies many quests. In PvP, the dust can also be used, but it only lasts about 10 seconds, which is still a powerful control effect.
The spawn points of all Dust Devils in Westfall. Image source: wowhead
Since the dust can be used by all classes, it provides a solid additional means of crowd control. So if you are in Westfall, you might want to smack a few Dust Devils to gather some magical dust. Because it is still incredibly good even at level 60.
Dividing Enemy Groups
In Classic, you will repeatedly encounter groups of enemies composed of three, four, five, or even six foes. If you attack these enemies solo, you will likely die. However, you can still defeat these groups by “dividing” them. Simply attack one of the enemies and then run away. At first, all enemies will pursue you, but after a while, only the attacked mob will chase you.
Kill this one while he is alone and repeat the game until the enemy group is small enough to be defeated in one go.
The Skull of Doom is an off-hand item that at first glance seems useful only for spell classes, but upon closer inspection, it provides an incredibly valuable advantage in PvP.
The skull has a “Use” effect. Once activated, the character’s movement speed is increased by a whopping 60% for 10 seconds. However, the character suffers damage between 100 and 500 points every 2 seconds over that duration, and a mana reduction of also 100 to 500 points. However, if you are somewhat quick on your feet, you can use this off-hand weapon to your advantage!
With the “Sprint” effect, you can shine in PvP as a flag carrier. Alternatively, you can use the DoT on yourself to be almost immune to control effects. Because a mage cannot polymorph you into a sheep if you keep breaking out of sheep with self-inflicted damage every 2 seconds.
The skull can be obtained after a short questline in the Blasted Lands. The dwarf Theldurin stands “in the middle of nowhere” at coordinates 51 / 76.
Magical Candle
In Classic, it was not so easy for all classes to pull enemies from a distance. Especially tank paladins had a big problem with that because they didn’t have a proper range attack. Therefore, paladins relied on other players to help them – or they took matters into their own hands.
A useful item here is the Magical Candle. It drops in Elwynn Forest from the kobold geomancers in the Fargodeep Mine. The magical candles are a consumable that allows the player to shoot a small fireball. This fireball even causes a short damage-over-time effect. While the damage is minimal, it is a good alternative for melee characters to pull enemies without making a “body pull”.
If you are therefore exploring the mines in Classic, farm a few of these candles for later or gift them to a friend paladin who really wants to tank …
Early Zone Change
Do you plan to later ride a night elf saber as a human? Or do you want to ride a taurens’ kodo as an orc? Then you will have to put in a lot of work because you need a revered reputation with the respective faction that owns the mounts.
However, gathering reputation in Classic is difficult because quests provide reduced reputation if they are no longer challenging. So if you want to become revered with the night elves as a human, you should stroll to Teldrassil with your human at level 1 and complete all the starting quests there. This way, you can easily gather several thousand reputation points that you will not have to scrape together later.
The journey to another starting area is arduous, but the nice feeling of being able to ride a nightsaber as a human should make up for it.
Nightslayer
If you want to become the absolute favorite of all spell classes in the raid as a warrior, paladin, or shaman, you should choose the profession of blacksmithing and work towards the weapon Nightslayer. This epic two-handed axe has a devastating effect that brings tears of joy to all classes dealing magic damage.
Nightslayer has a chance to increase the target’s magic damage taken by 15% for 5 seconds on each hit. In a raid or even a dungeon, this can be a massive buff that can greatly accelerate boss fights.
The axe certainly comes at the cost of your own DPS, as it has no stats of its own. However, its pure damage is also not to be underestimated.

In Pokémon GO there have been some changes among the Water attackers. Kingler suddenly rises to become the best attacker, surpassing Kyogre in damage per second.
Here’s why the change happened: The move Crabhammer has come into the game along with the Water Festival. This attack can be learned by Kingler and Crawdaunt, and especially Kingler has become quite powerful with it.
We will show you the new values of the attack for Kingler and reveal whether it is worth leveling up a specimen now.
Kingler with Crabhammer – Is it worth it?
What does the move do? Crabhammer is a charging move of Water type with two bars. It deals 85 damage.
If we look at the damage per second that Kingler deals with Crabhammer, it is higher than Kyogre’s, and quite significantly so.
Kingler deals the most damage per second of all Water Pokémon. Source: Reddit
However, Kingler is not as durable as Kyogre. Therefore, the total damage that a Kyogre deals before being defeated is significantly higher than that of Kingler.
What does this mean for Kingler? If you prioritize speed and want to deal a lot of damage in raids, you should go with Kingler. A Kingler with Crabhammer is indeed the best Water Pokémon when it comes to quick damage.
What about Crawdaunt? The Pokémon from Generation 3 can also learn Crabhammer. It just has significantly worse stats than Kingler. Nevertheless, it also ranks in the top 5 for damage per second.
A Crawdaunt with Crabhammer is thus not bad, but it is not the best choice in battle.
How can you learn Crabhammer? The attack is now normal in the movepool of both Pokémon. You can teach the move through evolution as well as TMs.

At The Division 2 the Creative Director has fun with the players. He had the developers sneak a police car with a spelling mistake into the game and then challenged the players to hunt it down. An agent from Berlin found it. He is now expecting a care package from the developers.
This is the backstory: As Kotaku reports, this gag dates back to 2018. At that time, the Gamescom trailer for The Division 2 was released. In one scene of the trailer, it appeared that the word “Police” on a police car was misspelled. It looked like the “I” was missing because the door was open.
From this, a meme was born.
In February 2019, the Creative Director, Julian Gerighty, then told a fan: One will bring such a car into The Division 2. And he kept his word.
Apparently, the “Polce” car was brought into the game at some point in the weeks after, but no one was searching for it.
On August 21, Gerighty then specifically sent the players on the hunt, enticing them with a “prize.”
While searching for the car, his job as a guard helped him, as he learned to approach problems methodically. He apparently searched Washington, DC, street by street until he found the strange car.
The police car is misspelled and has a smiley face in the “O” (featured image).
Where is the car? The car is located west of the Lincoln Memorial near the highway underpass.
The player shared a screenshot of his find.
Gerighty has already congratulated on Twitter and announced that he will send the agent a care package with items from Massive and Ubisoft.
He asks if players want more of such scavenger hunts.
At the moment, things are quite calm in The Division 2, the developers are taking a communication break – the State of the Game is set. But soon the game is expected to pick up pace again, the next update is supposed to significantly improve The Division 2:
The probably most famous WoW player of all time and for a long time the “best warrior of Azeroth” is returning with Classic. Veterans may still remember Kungen.
If you played World of Warcraft 15 years ago and had a bit of knowledge about the raid scene, you also know the great legends and role models. One of them was the warrior Kungen, who was known for many years as “the best tank in the world”. With WoW Classic, he aims to dedicate himself to World of Warcraft once again.
Who exactly is Kungen? Thomas Bengtsson, who was known as Kungen back then, was considered the best warrior tank in the world during Vanilla and even in “The Burning Crusade”. Hundreds tried to emulate him, and hardly anyone delved as deeply into the matter as he did – sometimes he even surprised the developers of WoW.
Kungen wrote many guides and founded the professional guild Nihilum, which managed to claim many of the biggest first kills for many years. This included the first kill of C’Thun and Kel’Thuzad in Classic, but also all end bosses of all raids in “The Burning Crusade” except for Kil’Jaeden.
Famous penalty in Wrath of the Lich King: He was still active in Wrath of the Lich King, after his guild had merged with another one to form Ensidia. Here, many players received a ban during the kill of the Lich King because they completely exploited a game mechanic by using Saronite bombs. According to Blizzard, this was a clear exploitation of an exploit, Ensidia argued that all rogues used Saronite bombs in their rotations.
During the time of Wrath of the Lich King, Kungen was even particularly honored, as he received his own card in the WoW Trading Card Game:
Kungen returns permanently: Kungen has now announced on Twitter that he will return and that his stream will be “active for years” again. Although he has not yet planned what he will do in Classic, he seems to be focused. Whether he will lead a guild again and therefore want to claim the “new first kills” remains to be seen in the coming days.

So if you still have nostalgic feelings for the “heroes of the past” and want to watch an old legend lose itself in Classic again, you should keep an eye on the KungenTV stream on Twitch. Especially players who want to play a warrior in WoW Classic might learn a trick or two there.
For Autumn 2019, the MMORPG ArcheAge is planning not only Unchained but also the major Patch 6.0. This will bring not just graphic updates and small adjustments but also a highlight.
At gamescom, Vice President Mervin Lee Kwai III already gave us a glimpse into the now twelfth class specialization. He proudly pointed out that with the patch, up to 220 class combinations are possible.
What is the highlight of ArcheAge 6.0? The biggest new feature of the autumn update will be the class specialization Swiftblade. This is a melee fighter with one weapon in each hand.
In addition to the class specializations, there are other innovations, including graphic adjustments, a new PvP mode, and many quality-of-life changes.
When will the update be released? So far, there is no exact release date for 6.0. However, it is expected to come out this year in autumn.
New Class Specialization Will Be Action-packed
How does the Swiftblade play? According to Kwai III, the new specialization is aimed particularly at players who enjoy fast and action-packed battles.
The fights are so fast that I can’t keep up at my age of 39. The skills and movements are so quick, the cooldowns so short, it’s all just so much at once.
High speed represents the most significant difference from the already existing melee specializations. Accordingly, mastering the Swiftblade is said to be more difficult.
However, the fun in PvP is expected to be greater, provided you can handle the specialization well.
How is the Swiftblade received in Korea? In Korea, Update 6.0 and thus the new specialization is already playable. We in the West are already benefiting from the first balance changes:
The Swiftblade is received mixed in Korea. The class is very squishy but also very interesting. We have already collected all the data from XL Games and are making the first adjustments.
Players from EU/NA will not receive the original raw version of the Swiftblade.
Battle Royale at Sea
What new content is there? In addition to the class specialization, you can also look forward to a new instanced PvP mode.
This involves a battle at sea, in which 50 players can participate. The goal of the battle is to be the last player standing, a Battle Royale.
A first glimpse of the mode is given by a video from the Korean version:

The First of Many Graphic Revisions
What changes will be made to the graphics? In addition to the content improvements, there are also some further adjustments for ArcheAge with 6.0. Among the bigger ones are the graphic adjustments in the starting area of the elves.
Some graphic layers and weather effects have been renewed. Mervin Lee Kwai III revealed to us that XL Games intends to make these adjustments in other areas in the future as well.
What changes will there be? The new patch is also supposed to make changes to the balancing of factions in the siege zones. So far, the fortifications there have been under the control of individual guilds.
In the future, the factions will be in the foreground. There will be weekly rotations so that each faction can enjoy each fortification.
Of course, these can still be attacked and conquered.
6.0 is Coming for Unchained Too
Will both versions get the update? Kwai III confirmed to us that the newly announced ArcheAge version Unchained will also receive the new 6.0 update.
You can find everything about the new version in our overview:
In Destiny 2, the Solstice of Heroes is coming to an end. One realization remains for our author Tom: The strike playlist is terrible.
This is related to the summer event with strikes: I haven’t played strikes in Destiny 2 as frequently as I have in the last few weeks. Occasionally a couple of strikes for the weekly loot – sure. But playing 10 strikes back-to-back hadn’t happened in ages.
During the summer event “Solstice of Heroes”, this changed. Because anyone who wants to complete the Solstice armor has to complete a ton of objectives in strikes – and whoever wants to do this with all their characters will spend a lot of time in strikes.
That’s why the strike playlist is a nightmare: One evening while I was going through a strike marathon, I realized: “Man, Tom, you’re playing the same thing constantly!” The first strike of the evening was “The Hollow Hideout”. Then came the “Guardian of Nothing” strike, followed by “The Hollow Hideout” again, and then – for a change – another “The Hollow Hideout”.
And it just kept going like that. I think I only saw two other strikes while leveling up the entire armor. Once the Nokris strike and twice the Corrupted.
Other than that, the Forsaken strikes “The Hollow Hideout” and “Guardian of Nothing” monotonously alternated.
The Fanatic waits in the Hollow Hideout
I’m not the only one playing the same
This is what other guardians say: During the Solstice of Heroes summer event, this topic kept coming up on reddit. One post even received over 5,400 upvotes, where the author complained about how bad the strike playlist is. Because 8 out of 10 strikes are always the same. We need more variety.
Another guardian created a ranking of how frequently the strikes appeared in the playlist for him. While “The Hollow Hideout” and “The Guardian of Nothing” came up very often, the “Will of the Thousands” or “The Armdealer” didn’t show up even once for him in the last 3 weeks.
However, the strikes actually aren’t lacking in variety. There are now quite a few strikes in the game – 14 in total + the PS4-exclusive strike “Brutefest”. The problem is merely that the strike playlist oddly favors some strikes and neglects others. The Forsaken strikes are currently dominating completely.
Will the strike situation improve with Shadowkeep? In an interview with gamesradar, Bungie’s Ben Wommack revealed that there will be two new strikes in Shadowkeep. One is on the Moon and the other is on Io.
So there won’t be a lack of strikes. The question is just whether the strike playlist will allow for more variety then.
By the way: I just recently got the Solstice armor to the Majestic rank for my Titan. And by dismantling some exotic ships that had been gathering dust in my vault for ages, I was also able to buy the Arc armor glow. How pretty he looks now, you can admire in the featured image of this article.
I won’t be seeing the strike playlist that often for a while…
Have you had similar experiences in the strike playlist?
In the current Team of the Week 43 in FIFA 19, there is an inconspicuous new card hidden. It has an overall rating of 81 and is nevertheless better than many top stars.
The new Inform card of Dario Tadic may only have an 81 overall rating, but surprisingly it can compete with Icons and TOTS cards. Let’s take a closer look at the card.
This is Dario Tadic: The striker from Austria is 29 years old and is contracted to TSV Hartberg. For the Austrian Bundesliga team, he has already scored 76 goals in 126 games. A really strong yield!
With a hat-trick last week, he earned his first TOTW card. And this card has a lot to offer.
So strong is his card: A striker card with a rating of 81 would normally not catch your eye twice. However, with Tadic, a second look is worth it, as the card has incredibly strong values.
The striker especially excels in pace, shooting, and dribbling stats. However, the physical attributes are also solid. He has everything that makes a good striker in FIFA 19.
Even his 4-star weak foot is really strong and makes scoring goals much easier. In terms of price, TOTW-Tadic is an absolute bargain, as for 13,000 coins, he belongs to you.
The only disadvantages are his 3-star skill moves and his difficult linkability to other players.
These top cards cannot compete
Ruud Van Nistelrooy: The Dutch legend has a strong 92-rated card with the Prime Icon version, which currently still costs a proud 350,000 coins. However, in terms of values, Tadic’s card is slightly better.
Especially in the areas of pace, passing, and physicality, Tadic is ahead. For shooting and dribbling, both cards are roughly equally strong. However, what gives Tadic a significant advantage are his 4-star weak foot. Van Nistelrooy only offers 3 stars.
Speed: Tadic 89 – Van Nistelrooy 86
Passing: Tadic 75 – Van Nistelrooy 74
Physical: Tadic 83 – Van Nistelrooy 82
Miroslav Klose: A strong Prime Icon card is also available for Miroslav Klose. With a high overall rating and decent values, this card makes a good impression. However, against Tadic, it has no chance. In all areas, the TOTW card of the Austrian is better than Klose’s strongest card in FIFA 19.
The biggest differences are in the areas of shooting, dribbling, and physicality.
Shooting: Tadic 90 – Klose 88
Dribbling: Tadic 85 – Klose 82
Physical: Tadic 83 – Klose 81
Robert Lewandowski: At the beginning of FIFA 19, the Champions League card of the Pole was one of the best options for the attack in FIFA 19. Meanwhile, Tadic’s first Inform card can compete and even surpass Lewandowski’s card in some areas.
Here, especially the speed is to be highlighted. Tadic offers a full 10 points more than Lewandowski. Otherwise, the values compared to the top striker are very similar. Only in skill moves does Lewandowski have an advantage with 4 stars over Tadic.
Speed: Tadic 89 – Lewandowski 79
With this, Tadic probably has the strongest 81-rated card in the game
For whom is the card interesting? The card is a curiosity in FIFA 19 and will probably not be played by many. Especially towards the end of FIFA 19, when there are good strikers available for bargain prices. Nevertheless, you get a good striker here for little money, whom you can definitely try out.
Fans of Austrian football will be particularly pleased with the existence of the Tadic card.
In line with the Water Festival, there are also new raid bosses in Pokémon GO. Many of these are Water type and can be shiny.
This is what the new bosses revolve around: The majority of the new raid bosses are Water type. After all, Niantic has already announced the new bosses along with the Water event.
A total of 12 out of 21 raid bosses can be shiny, and some of them are quite useful in battle.
These are the raid bosses for the Water Festival 2019

Machomei Aquana Azumarill Torhaido Alola-Raichu

Which Pokémon are worth it? There is no strong Water attacker among the raid bosses. However, there are some Pokémon that are not of this type but are strong.
This includes Machomei or Despotar. They are among the best attackers of their type. The legendary Pokémon Rayquaza should also be interesting for every player.
What shinies are there? The list of possible shinies is long. The following Pokémon can also appear in their shiny form:
Jurob
Krabby
Loturzel
Wingull
Wailmer
Barschwa

Barschwa is available as a level-2 raid

Fortnite: Battle Royale has finally taken a big nerf for the Mech. But are the players and Twitch pros who have been complaining for weeks now satisfied?
What is the Mech nerf about? The Mech “B.I.E.S.T.” in Fortnite has been a major point of contention in the community since its introduction at the beginning of Season 10. According to Epic, the vehicle is mainly designed to help newcomers achieve quick kills and successes.
Many players and pros feel this is not good because, from their perspective, a Mech often decides the game. After long complaints and minor adjustments, the Mech has now been noticeably nerfed: It now shoots fewer rockets, among other changes, and no longer automatically collects resources that it stomps.
But is that enough to reconcile the angry players?
Nevertheless, there have been numerous reactions to the Mech nerf. The well-known Twitch pro “TimTheTatman” expressed his emotional response on Twitter. He repeatedly shouted into the microphone, “Yes!” and “This is what I meant all along!” So the changes seem to please him.

Some even suspect a conspiracy behind it all. Epic allegedly withheld the nerf deliberately until other games, like the Alpha of Modern Warfare, launched, causing players to migrate. The theory suggests that the nerf aims to lure players back in droves and undercut the competition.
This is what Reddit says: But not only the pros are frustrated about the issue. Also on Reddit, tensions are running high in several threads, and there is anger towards Epic, which did not even apologize for the Mech:
“They apologized for the sword,
but did nothing to avoid making the same mistake. We don’t need an apology, we need a leadership change! Someone should be fired!”
“I’m not playing until the Mechs are gone. I won’t play the rest of the season as long as they’re still in, and I don’t even know if I’ll come back then. The developers had a wonderful game and they ruined it!”
“Almost all of my friends are gone now, and the 3 who are still around are on the verge of leaving as well. The Mech nerf doesn’t change the fact that the loot pool is total garbage and there is barely any mobility left in the game.”
“I don’t care what they bring into or take out of the game. I’m not spending any more money. Epic suddenly wants more people to win without having skill.”
What is your opinion on the Mech nerf? Just right or too little, too late?
Hi-Rez now announces the closure of the servers for Smite Tactics (PC, PS4, Xbox One) or “Hand of the Gods.” This was supposed to expand and strengthen the “Smite” brand, but the mix of X-Com and Hearthstone was never really successful. In the last 30 days, Smite Tactics had an average of only 1.8 players on Steam.
What kind of game is Smite Tactics? It’s not that easy to describe. After the success of the action MOBA Smite, the studio, Hi-Rez, wanted to establish more games under this brand.
“Hand of the Gods: Smite Tactics” appeared at the end of 2016. It is a mix of strategy and card game. With the god worlds from SMITE, players can create decks like in a card game. However, they don’t just play these cards out; they place them on the game board.
As a strategist, they can then control these figures.
Simply too few players
What went wrong? The game simply couldn’t establish itself or really become known. There was no significant bloom phase; the game never took off.
Smite Tactics struggled to find its target audience and apparently had trouble explaining to people what they should expect in the game. However, Hi-Rez has done quite a bit to try to turn this around:
