Nerf to Mayhem Mode – Less Loot
In the patch notes, Gearbox writes about the changes to the Mayhem Mode. “The number of loot drops in Mayhem Mode has been reduced.”
What does this mean? If you play in this difficulty mode now, you will find loot less frequently. How significantly this number has been decreased is unclear. The developers did not provide details.
What has been nerfed? The Loot Tinks in the area of the Mansion now spawn less frequently. The developers adjusted the spawn rate. This type of enemy is supposed to be “special” again.
What was the problem? In the first days after the release of Borderlands 3, the Mansion emerged as a hotspot for players. A place they repeatedly visited to quickly and easily farm loot.
The reason for so much loot in this area were the so-called Loot Tinks. They are known from earlier parts of the series as “loot dwarves.” They had a fixed spawn point in Jacobs’ Mansion and always appeared when you teleported there.
For players, it was a feast, as they traveled there, took down the Loot Tink, grabbed the loot, and teleported back again to start the game all over. This way, they easily farmed a lot of loot.

Thunderaan the Windseeker in WoW Classic
What are the bindings good for? The bindings can be used in WoW Classic to complete the quest “Thunderaan the Windseeker.” Along with ten Elementium Bars and the Essence of the Firelord, Thunderaan can be summoned.
Thunderaan is another boss that you need to defeat with your raid and who rewards you with the legendary weapon Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker.
The two bindings are usually the items that block progress for the corresponding quest. The essence is a guaranteed drop, and the bars can be crafted, which is costly but usually takes less time than many raid nights.

When is FIFA 20 available via EA Access? According to EA, the trial version is not live yet after the downtime. It will not start before the morning of September 19 Pacific Time. They plan to roll it out before noon.

Your best chance of getting a Conference Call right now is during the boss fight against Katagawa Junior. Some players are currently going the route of systematically taking down bosses to farm legendary weapons. If you’re after the legendary shotgun, Katagawa is currently the boss you should tackle.

However, note: Even here, a drop of the CC is not guaranteed. It may take several attempts before you have the cannon in your hands. Other bosses, like Gigamind, can also drop the CC – and a player on reddit even got the coveted weapon from a Loot Tink with legendary weapons.
Is the Conference Call still effective?
This is how fans respond to the Conference Call: Basically, the Conference Call is still a powerful weapon – even in Borderlands 3. However, some players on Reddit express disappointment with the cannon. At least compared to Borderlands 2, the new version seems somewhat weaker.

There was a strange bug in LoL. Invitations to an event in London were mistakenly sent out, meant only for selected players of the League of Legends. However, “regular gamers” were chosen and invited to this private party. Someone who reported this on reddit hit the nail on the head with their post.
What a selection was that? Players received a message in the League of Legends client displayed on the homepage with the title “You are one of 500.” Whoever followed the link ended up on this page:
Riot Games is apparently planning a big event for the 10th anniversary and wants to celebrate it. They have organized a private party in London and invited players “exclusively”:

What we know now about the Vex Offensive: The Vex Offensive will be a completely new 6-player matchmaking activity. You are supposed to discover the origin of the Vex invasions and work with Ikora Rey. The goal is to put an end to the Vex invasions. To do this, you will need to queue for the activity.

How exactly this will work is not entirely clear yet. It is conceivable that the Vex Offensive can be selected via the Navigator on the map – similar to the Menagerie.
Who can play the Vex Offensive? However, not all players will have access to the new 6-player matchmaking activity. You will need the Season Pass for the Season of the Undying. Those who do not own it will not be able to play the Vex Offensive.

What is the difference to the Vex Invasion events? It is important to distinguish between the Vex Offensive and the Vex Invasion events. Unlike the Vex Offensive, the Invasion events will not have matchmaking but will simply take place at different times. Vex invasions, for example, occur on the Moon.
Moreover, all Destiny 2 players can participate in these invasion events and do not need a Season Pass for that. Thus, players of the base game can also join.
This is the origin of the Vex invasions: According to Bungie, the events of the Vex invasions should be directly connected to the events in Shadowkeep and the new raid. In the “Garden of Salvation” raid, we will enter the Black Garden, which veterans should still know from Destiny 1.

The Menagerie as a Good Example
The advantage of 6-player activities: The Vex Offensive is by no means the first 6-player activity in Destiny 2. Raids and the Menagerie also rely on a 6-player fireteam.
These activities are especially fun because of their group dynamics. You are no longer alone, but can tackle the challenge together in a large group. With the matchmaking for the Menagerie, you typically do not have to wait long, and after a short time, you have your fireteam together thanks to the player search, and you can get started.
Why the Menagerie works well at the moment: The Menagerie is currently the 6-player activity in which the matchmaking works best. In raids, the player search via Guided Games can sometimes take forever.
In the Menagerie, you face the challenges of Emperor Calus and venture onto his Leviathan. There you will need to work with 5 other players to master various phases and mechanics to progress as quickly as possible. The activity brings the best of Destiny raids without being overly complicated.
Additionally, with the Chalice of Opulence, it is possible to choose your rewards for a run practically. You can therefore grind for various equipment and weapons in the Menagerie. That is why it is also very popular among many players.
The Vex Offensive is likely going in a similar direction.
In Fortnite, the challenges of Week 8 (S10) are focused on Storm Racers. You need to complete time challenges at various locations. We will show you the locations of the time trials.

This is how players were sabotaged: A series of DoS and DDoS attacks in recent weeks caused rounds in Rainbow Six Siege to run poorly or even get interrupted. Occasionally, only players were affected, who then got kicked from the match.
This is not only frustrating due to the wait for a new match or a inevitably lost round. It also led to some game bans for those players due to early departures from matches.
Will you be able to game undisturbed again soon?
Since the technology cannot distinguish whether a disconnect is intentional or unintentional, the “leavers” received corresponding penalties. This affected both PC players and those on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Measures against the attackers, protection for players
This is how Ubisoft is now protecting players: In an official post, Ubisoft published several measures aimed at addressing the issue. Two of these measures are meant to help players experience fewer negative impacts:
Instead of three matches, only one match will now run per server. This way, not three rounds are immediately affected by an attack, should further attacks occur.
Penalties for early departure from a match will be temporarily lifted. Those who are kicked from the game will not face penalties.
This is how the attackers are punished: Ubisoft not only ensures that fair players are protected but also punishes the attackers. Various measures are being taken:
Players who could be proven to have conducted the attacks will be banned in the near future. Previously, numerous cheaters were banned.
From October, server-side monitoring of the network will be changed to better prevent DDoS attacks.
Operators who can be connected to the attacks will receive cease and desist orders.
Additionally, Ubisoft is working with Microsoft to develop further measures against DDoS.
However, you will have to wait longer for an important fix:

Polar Peak – Location
Where do you need to land? Polar Peak is located in the snowy landscape. It is the large iceberg on which a castle stood. It is labeled as a location on the map and therefore easy to find. You should just land on the iceberg.

Where do you need to land? The volcano is located in the jungle area of the map. Inside the volcano, Pressure Plants has been built. You should fly to this location and land there. You can also land on the crater of the volcano.

Hill with Circle of Trees – Location
Where do you need to land? This hill is one of the highest hills in Fortnite. It is located near Pleasant Park. On the hill, you will see a circle formed by trees. You should land on this hill.

You do not need to complete these challenges in a match. You can visit the locations one after the other in different matches.
If you have landed at these three locations, the task should be fulfilled and you will receive your reward. This helps you level up in the Battle Pass.

Find all race tracks in Fortnite
Where can you find the race tracks? Currently, you can find three race tracks on the Fortnite map. One near Junk Junction, one at Moisty Palms, and one in the Ice Biome at Happy Hamlet.
On the following map, you can see where these tracks are located.
How to race? Normally, you can find various vehicles near these race tracks, with which you can complete this task. This can be done with driftboards or other vehicles that you get into.
Then, line up at the starting line and wait for the timer to count down. When the traffic light turns green afterward, you are allowed to go. Speed through all the checkpoints displayed on the track.
On the final stretch, you must pass through the finish line again for the round to count. Once you have done this, the round officially counts as finished and you should have completed the task.
The CoD Modern Warfare beta starts today for pre-order customers on PS4, Xbox One, and PC with many changes. The pre-load is ready.
When does the beta start? The second beta week begins today, September 19 at 7 PM for all PS4 players. If you pre-ordered the game for Xbox One and PC, you can also start today and begin the pre-load thanks to the early access.
The developers listened to player feedback
These changes come with the second beta: During the first beta, the developers responded to the feedback from many fans. The mini-map has found its way back into the game. Before the second beta phase starts, a long list of changes has been published.

Issues with linking PSN and CoD accounts can now be reported to support.
A bug that displayed an incorrect level cap for players has now been fixed.
Some players experienced graphical errors that caused the screen to display black, green, or yellow. This issue has been fixed.
The rocket camera remained static in the initial deployment scene and did not display the map and enemy targets correctly. It should function properly again now.
If you got stuck on a door, the Semtex grenade did not explode and the grenade symbol remained on the screen. This has been fixed for the second beta phase.
The developers continue to monitor feedback regarding the mini-map, doors that open too loudly, and spawn points. So changes for these issues may also occur during the second beta.

Download the beta before launch
Players on PlayStation 4 could play the beta earlier and therefore only need to update. For Xbox One and PC, you need to activate the beta differently depending on whether you pre-ordered a digital or retail version.
Pre-load for retail pre-orders
How do you get the beta code? Retail version pre-order customers need to check their email inbox. However, it must be the email address linked to your CoD account. Also check your spam folder if you don’t find the email right away.
If you haven’t received an email, you should contact support directly.
This is what PC players need to do to download: The process is similar. Log in to Battle.net and go to your account page. There, select “Games and Codes” and then click on “Redeem Code”. Enter your beta code there and the download will start.
Pre-load of the digital version
What do buyers of the digital version need? Unlike the retail version, you do not have to wait for an email when purchasing digitally, but can start the download immediately.
This is how you download the beta on PC: Log in to Battle.net and go to the product page for Modern Warfare in the launcher. Just click on “Install” and your download will start.
How do Xbox One players download the beta: Simply look for “Modern Warfare” in the Microsoft Store, go to the product page for the beta, and start the download.
Until when does the beta run? The beta runs until September 23 at 7 PM. Until then, you have the opportunity to get a personal impression of the game.
Diligent players will actually receive a weapon as a gift in the beta.
In Pokémon GO there is now a change in the confirmation of PokéStops. When a stop is rejected, you now receive an explanation for it.
What players are reporting: On Reddit some players show that they now also receive a reason for a rejected PokéStop. It is stated that a stop was not confirmed because, for example, the image was too blurry.
This should please many trainers, because then you can also know why the submitted stop was not implemented. If only an image is blurry, then you can quickly make another suggestion.
Players finally receive info on their PokéStops
This is new: Previously, you received an email when you submitted a PokéStop. Once the stop was evaluated by Ingress players, there was another email with the confirmation or denial.
You will still receive such emails, but the message in case of a rejection is now longer. It states the reason for the rejection. It is always the main reason from the Ingress community.
In an email from a trainer on Reddit, there were even 2 reasons. He had taken a blurry picture and the PokéStop seems to be on private property.
That’s why the change is so good: Often, the frustration among submitting players has been great. They found the perfect PokéStop, which meets all the guidelines, but in the end, the stop was rejected.
Now you can find out whether the stop actually violates the guidelines, or if simply the photo was too poor. With a bad photo, you can simply re-submit the PokéStop and focus on better images this time. This increases the chances enormously.
There is still criticism here: Some trainers report that they would like to receive a confirmation or rejection email at all. They submitted PokéStops, but even after weeks there was no reaction.
You must note this: You can already submit PokéStops in Germany, but only from maximum level 40. Below that, the feature does not work yet. In Austria and Switzerland, this function is also not yet available.

In Borderlands 3, there is currently some strange behavior. The best loot is extremely easy to obtain. Is that intentional?
Once you reach the endgame in Borderlands 3, there is still plenty to do to improve your gear, level up further, and of course find the best combinations of skills and special weapons.
For this reason, farming weapons is very important and an essential part of the game. But maybe that is currently too easy and not particularly well thought out.
At least that’s what Paul Tassi from Forbes thinks, who writes:
A combination of three things makes farming bosses, and thus farming Legendaries, a joke in Borderlands 3, even on the oh-so-difficult True Vault Hunter Mode with Madness 3, the current maximum.
Afterwards, he lists the three things that make it a problem:
You now respawn just a few meters before the boss because saving/loading works differently than in previous installments of Borderlands.
The loot in Mayhem 3 is exaggerated; almost every boss definitely drops a Legendary, sometimes even multiple.
There are several builds that can kill bosses almost instantly, making farming extremely easy.
Is there too much loot in Borderlands 3?
There is certainly some truth to the statements, as these factors have a significant impact on the loot and consequently the rewards of the game.
“True Vault Hunter Mode” improves the loot: If you are looking for a real challenge in Borderlands 3, you switch to “True Vault Hunter Mode” (TVHM) after completing the campaign and experience almost a “New Game +”. The enemies are tougher, but they also drop better loot. If that still isn’t enough, you can adjust the Mayhem levels (Madness). In Mayhem 3, the enemies are significantly more dangerous, but the chance for good loot increases even further.
Boss farming is simply possible: Especially FL4K and Amara currently have extremely strong builds that allow them to kill even boss enemies in TVHM and Mayhem 3 alone – and often in just a few seconds. A single boss run often lasts only between 1 and 2 minutes, but rewards you with at least one legendary weapon, often even more than that.
Saving / Reloading is a problem: Another issue is that you can simply “reload” many boss fights. A boss didn’t have the desired Legendary? No problem! Just reload the save and kill the boss again. You repeat that until the desired weapon with the right stats is there.
Legendary items lose their value: An unpleasant side effect of all this is that legendary items no longer feel “legendary”. When you see a Legendary every two minutes, along with a bunch of epic weapons, all these weapons lose their value. The term “legendary” stands for something extraordinary, something incomprehensibly powerful. But is that still the case when these items drop like they’re on an assembly line?
How can Gearbox fix this? The question is, of course, whether this player behavior is something that Gearbox even wants to stop. However, these methods significantly trivialize the long-term motivation when you can just mow down bosses in a hail of bullets until the “right” loot is there.
One possibility would be a kind of “auto-save” as soon as a boss is defeated. Then you couldn’t easily load a previous save and would have to look for other methods, such as farming the endgame arenas, to get the best loot.
The players of the space MMORPG EVE Online have been through a turbulent time. Now the developers explained why it was necessary.
Why are players of EVE Online currently excited? About two months ago, the Drifter Invasion began, which caused quite a bit of chaos in the universe of EVE Online. There were fierce battles, which not every player appreciated. When a chat blackout occurred, the chaos was complete.
However, this phase of the game is now coming to an end. The blackout is over, and players are glad that everything is returning to normal.
Many players were upset
How did players react to this “era of chaos”? EVE fans are used to it that there is almost no interference from developers and that wars develop in PvP and are not enforced by NPCs. Moreover, many found the blackout annoying, as it became extremely dangerous to travel through the galaxy without chat.
Some players even stopped playing for this reason. During the approximately 2-month “era of chaos,” there was an increase in player numbers, but the longer this era lasted, the more the player numbers of EVE Online decreased again – even down to the lowest value so far.
How do the developers explain the “era of chaos”? CCP Games explained that this “era of chaos” was a limited-time event and also an experiment. The developers defend it because the player numbers of EVE Online are stagnating. Something needs to happen to attract new players.
Therefore, CCP Games also wants to use such events for regulation in the future. If everything in EVE Online is so entrenched that newcomers can no longer find a foothold, then the MMORPG revolves around a small group of regular players and does not receive any “fresh blood”. Such a situation can end catastrophically. Because even regular players can eventually leave, and without new arrivals, the player base continues to dwindle.
According to CCP Games, many important and interesting data has been learned from the experiment. This includes insights into the long-term behavior of players and how they react to changes. This is intended to help the team figure out in which direction the MMORPG will develop in the future.
Larger battles planned for the future
This is how it will continue: CCP Games also provided a brief outlook on the future. After phase two of the Aether Wars test has been completed, and 3047 players participated simultaneously, the developers can now optimize and improve the engine. The goal is to enable even larger battles than before.
In FIFA 20, you can now grab daily gifts in the Web App or Companion App. Here’s what you need to know about the login rewards for Ultimate Team.
Here’s why daily login pays off: You currently receive a gift for FUT 20 every day when you log into the Web App or Companion App daily. These gifts are usually of limited value, but they are definitely worth it to start the new FUT season in FIFA 20 well and to accumulate your first coins.
And the effort is minimal: You just need to log into either the Web App or the Companion App once a day and accept the gift.
When are the gifts available? The daily login rewards are active from September 18 to October 10, 2023. On that day, the FUT 20 App Early Access ends. This means that you must have logged into FUT 20 at least once on PS4, Xbox One, or PC by October 10 to continue using the apps. We expect that the daily rewards will remain active until then.
At what time are gifts available? Every night around 1 AM, a new gift should appear in the Web App, provided there are no delays. You then have 24 hours to claim it before the next gift arrives.

With the login gifts, you shouldn’t expect expensive, ultimate packs. Instead, they are smaller gift sets or coin boosts that are welcome at the start of FUT.
