The new DLC for Dead by Daylight is live. The “Stranger Things” expansion brings the Demogorgon and two survivors from the Netflix series.
By far the largest DLC of Dead by Daylight is now live. The new “Stranger Things” chapter is based on the popular Netflix series and introduces the new killer Demogorgon, as well as a new map and two survivors – Nancy Wheeler and Steve Harrington.
What can the new killer do? The Demogorgon is capable of placing up to 6 different portals on the map, allowing it to move quickly between them. This enables covering large distances swiftly. Survivors can destroy the portals, but they need time to do so and are so focused while sealing the portal that they cannot hear the killer’s terror radius.
Additionally, the Demogorgon can perform a charged “lunge attack” to finish chases quicker and land a hit rapidly. This video shows the Demogorgon and its perks in action:

How much does the DLC cost? The chapter can now be purchased in the Steam shop or the PlayStation and Microsoft Store. The price is €11.99.
For complete newcomers, there is currently also the “Dead by Daylight: Stranger Things Edition” on Steam. This includes the base game, the latest DLC, and some cosmetic items for the price of €20.20.
By the way: If you do not buy the DLC, you can still play on the new map and against the new killer. Additionally, it is possible to obtain all perks through the Shrine of Secrets, even if it may take a lot of time. Thus, there is a way to access all perks without buying the DLC.

In FIFA 20, the first players can play starting today, September 18th. When you can play early and before the release, you can find out here in the overview.
Who can play today? If you are playing FIFA 20 through Origin Access on PC, the new FIFA season is expected to kick off for you today, on September 18th.
EA Sports officially announces September 19th as the release date, but it has been the case in previous years that Origin Access members could start a day earlier.
The servers should go live around 5 PM or later in the evening.
What about EA Access? Madden 20 from EA Sports launched this year through EA Access a day before the stated release date. Therefore, EA Access members might also hope to start the trial version of FIFA 20 today.

This is EA Access: This is basically “Origin Access” for PS4 and Xbox One. However, here you only get a 10-hour trial version of FIFA 20. Although videos are circulating online about an EA Access glitch that supposedly allows extending the trial version, we strongly advise against it.
With EA Access, you are expected to kick off the FIFA 20 season around September 19th at 5 PM, but there is hope that it might also start for you today.

This is understandably frustrating for many agents: On Twitter and Reddit, this news has overshadowed every other topic regarding the preliminary patch notes. Many players see this change as “disrespectful” to their efforts and are voicing their frustration.
“The Eagle Bearer nerf is absolutely disrespectful to the players,” writes an agent on Reddit, receiving much support.
The agents demand proper recognition for the many hours spent in the raid before they could finally examine the coveted firearm in their own inventory.
Anyone who grinds for a strong weapon wants it to remain strong. Twitter user Gen4 states that the “Eagle Bearer” is the only reason he keeps playing the raid. Now he is questioning why he should even keep playing the raid if the weapon is being nerfed so severely.
However, there are other opinions: The Eagle Bearer certainly has its critics. A weapon that is very strong but hard to access in a game with PvP modes is often not very popular among those who don’t own a version.
It is also argued that the weapon remains a strong assault rifle with excellent talents, even after the nerf.
What does Massive say about it?
This is what the developers say: On Twitter, a developer joined the discussion and explained the goals of the planned balance updates. Fredrik Thylander is Lead Designer at Massive and is responsible for the weapons. In response to the accusation that this change only serves players who do not own an Eagle Bearer, he posted the following:
“It’s that everyone who gets it has no other choices. And we don’t either. Once something has power crept like that, we can’t add anything new ever that Interests anyone that has that gun, because it’s too far above the intended balance of the game.”

Massive wanted a strong exotic raid weapon and has perhaps overshot its target. Now they are focusing on increasing build diversity and achieving a certain balance among weapons, armor, and talents.
Other balance highlights from the preliminary patch notes. The major weapon balance update is likely coming with the next PTS phase on September 24. The current balance changes on the test server primarily affect talents and skills.

now has no attribute requirements (previously 4 or fewer skill attributes)

Each hit increases weapon handling by 3% (instead of 2%). Max 10x stackable (previously 15x). After reaching the maximum, each additional hit has a 5% chance to consume the stack and reload the magazine.
Developers want more meaningful builds
The nerfs to armor talents specifically target the highly used perks. “In the Ropes”, “Scout”, and “Compensated” are some of the cornerstones of the popular 3-11-7 build and a weakening of the combination was expected.
Here too, the developers are heading in the direction of build diversity and closely examining which talents are played for what reason.

How is Tibia addressing the problem? The developers are integrating a function into the MMORPG that will regularly remove this “trash” from the game world. As a Tibia player, one should ensure that no items are left lying around that might be needed later.

You need to align your armor, traits and mods in such a way that you achieve the maximum possible damage resistance. The core of the build is the Void Armor and its new trait, which grants either bonuses to armor or damage based on incoming or outgoing damage.
The exact combination was found by Redditor Turbulencee, and it is aptly named the Immortal Build. We will explain what items you need for this setup and how to activate the “perfect” defense.
These items, traits, and mods are needed for the Immortal Build
These equipments you need to collect: You will probably need to collect a bit before you have gathered all parts. However, thanks to our list, you will at least know where to look. The adventure mode is suitable for most items:
The Void Armor – Activate the Checkpoint Monolith on Rhom and complete the simple plate puzzle at the entrance. The solution to the riddle can be found on the back of the tower. Inside the tower, you can acquire the armor for 2,500 scrap.
Mother’s Ring – Can be found randomly in an area on Earth. Increases damage resistance against ranged attacks by 20%.
Guardian’s Ring – Can be purchased from the traveling merchant on Yaesha for 100,000 scrap. Increases damage resistance against melee attacks by 15%.
Scythe of the Reaver – Give the Heart of the Beast to the Eternal King to receive the Scythe of the Reaver as a reward. This grants you lifesteal on melee hits.
Mod Immunity of the Howler – Defeat the dog Maul on Rhom. This event is random. You may need to reset the world multiple times.
These traits you should level to maximum: The traits help you take less damage and allow the mods to be used more frequently.
Blessing of the Mother – Received after the horde assault in the church on Earth. Grants up to 20% resistance against ranged attacks.
Blessing of the Guardians – Defeat the Seed Horror on Yaesha, which later hangs around at the merchant after you encounter it for the first time. Increases resistance to melee attacks by up to 20%.
Thick Hide – Speak with the Wailing Tree on Earth when you are wearing the Mask of Rot. You obtain this mask randomly in two ways at certain events on Earth. Once in the horde event at the gallows, and another time with an underground merchant, who you have to ask about his mask. This trait increases your armor value.
Recovery – Speak with Navun on Yaesha. Increases the effectiveness of healing items.
Inspiration – Increases the mod build rate. Ex-Cultists have this trait from the start; all others must complete the supply event on Earth, which also rewards the assault rifle.
How do you extract the maximum defense power from the build? When you are hit while wearing the Void Armor, you gain a defensive stack. At three stacks, your armor increases by 30%. With Thick Hide, you already have 677.5 armor with the Void Armor. With the bonus, you will become the super tank.
By using the traits, rings, and mods, you also achieve 75% damage resistance. Combine this with a Golden Plum and a Blood Tincture, and you will take less damage than you can heal. Especially in Nightmare mode, you can thus survive tricky situations without harm.
Which amulet and weapons should I equip? Here you have the choice. Take what you like. Leto’s Amulet is recommended, as it allows you to dodge and roll faster despite the heavy armor. For weapons, the Destroyer is a good choice since you can be revived with the mod when it is charged.
What are the disadvantages of the build? It is very defensive. Especially in Nightmare mode, you also need to deal high damage to progress quickly. Invest in traits that increase your ranged damage, critical hit chance, and critical hit damage.
In FIFA 20, the Icons will no longer be available in the usual way. EA Sports is trying something new. Here is how you will get the Icons in the future.
This is how you used to get Icons: There were several ways to obtain Icons. You either got them with a lot of luck from packs, bought them with a lot of money on the transfer market, or exchanged them in Icon SBCs.
All three methods were usually very expensive. After all, many Icons are still stronger than the best normal cards in the game. The chance of getting Icons in packs was low, the prices on the market were high, and you also had to throw in very strong players in the SBCs to get an Icon. All of this is set to change now.
What FIFA 20 changes about Icons
Versions will be distributed: There are a total of 89 Icons in FIFA 20. Each of them will receive four different versions.

These four forms were also available in FIFA 19. However, the sudden introduction of Prime Icon Moments caused some frustration among players. EA has now clearly communicated when exactly you can pull which versions from packs.
Both the Base and Mid forms can be pulled directly from packs at the beginning. Prime Icons will be available from December, and the Moments will follow in February. The Icon versions in Draft will also adhere to these schedules.
What changes with Prime Icon Moments: The Prime Icon Moments will remain the strongest version of each Icon card. However, since they are oriented around specific moments in the legends’ careers, the new cards may differ from the known Prime Icon Moments of FIFA 19. So there could be new top cards.
What FIFA 20 changes for Icon SBCs
Will there still be Icon SBCs? The answer to this question is, in the broadest sense: “No”. The known SBCs, in which you exchanged strong players for a specific Icon, will no longer exist in this form.
EA says: “We want to make Icons accessible to a larger group of players.” The crux of the matter: For the Icon SBCs, you almost always needed another Icon player to trade.
EA concluded that Base Icons only had the status of SBC fodder and were hardly used in teams anymore. Additionally, the long-term solution for SBCs led to strong price fluctuations on the transfer market for SBC-suitable Icons and the absolute top legends.
Will not be available as a single SBC: Drogba
What changes: In FIFA 20, there will be no SBCs where you have to exchange Icons. Additionally, the minimum price for Icons will be reduced from 102,000 coins to 63,750 coins.
There will still be Icon Pack SBCs from which you can pull a guaranteed Icon. However, you will not know which one it is. Individual Icon SBCs will no longer exist. Instead, FIFA 20 introduces the new Icon Swap system.
Icon Swaps: The new way to get legends
What Icon Swaps are: The new Icon Swap system is based on the known FUT Swaps from FIFA 19. It works in three steps:

Exchange Player Tokens
There will be a total of three major Icon Swaps throughout the year. Each Icon Swap will include a selection of at least 20 Icons. Important: If an Icon card was available in one of the Swaps, it will not be included in future Swaps. This means, for example, that Prime-Drogba will not be part of the remaining two Icon Swaps if his Base form is available in the first Icon Swap.
Each Icon card will need a specific number of Player Tokens. It is to be expected that a Crespo with 85 rating will cost fewer Tokens than an Owen with 91. So choose wisely for whom you spend your Tokens.
The Player Tokens will be released gradually throughout each Swap release. Important: Player Tokens from Icon Swap 1 cannot be used in Icon Swap 2 or 3.
The first Icon Swap: The first selection of exchangeable Icons is already known. The first Icon Swap starts on October 11 and ends in December.
What does this mean? As you will likely receive Player Tokens through objectives, it will be possible to earn Icons like Zidane or Kaká in a way. This will potentially make it easier to obtain Icons without having to spend too much time on the transfer market.

In Pokémon GO you can now hatch even more regional Pokémon. Niantic has increased the number of eggs from gifts.
What has changed? Until now, you could only get a 7-km egg from a friend’s gift. However, now you have the chance to receive 2 eggs per gift.
After many players expressed their frustration over the low daily limit for opening gifts, this is now a good compromise. After all, you can now receive more eggs from gifts again.
More eggs from gifts – What this means for you
How many eggs can you get now? Exact probabilities cannot be stated yet. However, the fact is that not every gift will guarantee 2 eggs. There are still gifts that contain no eggs.
Previously, you received about 12-15 eggs from 20 gifts. Now it could easily be 20 eggs, as you can now receive 2 eggs more often.
The chance of getting a Shiny increases as well. The Shiny rate is about 1 in 30 to 1 in 50. Until now, it often wasn’t due to bad luck, but rather because one simply couldn’t obtain any more 7-km eggs.
Now you can get more eggs, and surely some players will also be rewarded with a Shiny.
How long will this change last? This feature is unfortunately limited to a few days. Already next Monday, September 23, you will again receive a maximum of one egg from gifts. The reason for this is the end of the Ultra Bonus at 10 PM.

Blizzard has released the patch notes for the upcoming WoW update 8.2.5. Among them are some highlights that no one expected.
For a while now, the upcoming patch 8.2.5 of World of Warcraft has been on the PTR. Slowly, it seems that the testing phase is coming to an end, as Blizzard has released the official patch notes that inform about all the new features and details. This way, world quests should continue to provide an incentive to be completed.
Auction House Security Lock: If you like to shop in the auction house, you will be pleased with this small change. If you want to make a purchase that costs more than 50,000 gold coins, you now have to confirm this action in an additional dialog box. This should reduce the frequency of “mistaken purchases” – as these cannot be undone in the auction house.
When is patch 8.2.5 coming out? There is still no official release date. However, it can only be a matter of weeks until the update finally goes live, as the associated “Recruit a Friend” system is expected to start “in the coming weeks”. So, logically, the patch must be released by then.

Before Shadowkeep starts, Bungie wants to explain to players what they can expect soon in Destiny 2. Now they have shown new gameplay scenes from the expansion.

They not only talked about many innovations of Shadowkeep – most of which are already known – but also repeatedly showed exciting gameplay scenes that we had not seen before.
What kind of mini-raid? In the video, you can see both new material from Shadowkeep’s campaign and some upcoming activities. Many dangers and traps lurk in the depths of the dungeon
The dungeon is supposed to provide a raid experience but is instead played with a 3-player fireteam. At the end of the activity, we see a cool Cabal Knight, who might also be the boss of the dungeon. In his hand, he holds a gigantic, flaming sword.
How do dungeons work in Destiny 2? So far, there is only the dungeon “The Broken Throne”, which was introduced with Shadowkeep in the Dreaming City. It is also a 3-player activity. The dungeon activities are aimed at all players who have always wanted to play a raid but have not been able to gather a 6-player fireteam so far.
Raids have been considered the absolute highlight of the game since Destiny 1 due to their mechanics. Unfortunately, they are played by very few players. Dungeons are therefore a good alternative.

This is the new Nightfall mode “The Crucible”: In the video, they also show new Nightfall modes. Bungie calls these “Nightfall: The Crucible”. Players can choose between different difficulty levels and encounter Champion enemies in the strikes. The champions are the new, toughest foes in the new Nightfall modes. In the future, it will be important that you prepare your character for these enemies in the endgame and master the hardest level. The seasonal artifacts are supposed to support you, with their infinite power grind, in this task.
There will be four different difficulty levels for the new Nightfall modes:
Adept – Power Level 750 is recommended
Hero – Power Level 920 is recommended
Legend – Power Level 950 is recommended
Master – Power Level 980 is recommended
The higher the difficulty, the greater the chance of receiving the rewards you want. These rewards from the Master rank include, according to the video, Enhancement Prisms, Ascendant Shards, and exotic gear.
A vibrant and growing game world
How has the game developed so far? So far, the seasons in Destiny 2 have been independent of each other. They do not follow a major overarching narrative or influence the entire game world. Instead, each season tells its own little story. However, these usually have nothing to do with the main events in the game world. This is supposed to change now.
What does Bungie want to change now? The developers want players to feel like they are embarking on a journey together with them. They no longer want to dictate or prescribe to players what they should experience.
They want to give the Guardians the feeling that they are responsible for some of the events in the world and to push the game world forward in meaningful ways. Bungie aims to build the best version of Destiny 2. All these changes are mainly aimed at players who love Destiny.
Bungie’s vision is an action MMO in a single evolving world. In this world, everything should be interconnected. According to the developers, Shadowkeep is the first step in the right direction. The expansions serve as anchors for the actions, and the story is supposed to continue from season to season, changing the game world.

The highlight for many fans of League of Legends is the big World Finals, which this time take place in three locations. However, a problem with ticket sales leaves many fans empty-handed.

What players are complaining about: On Reddit, a fan complains that the event venue’s website in Paris stated a sales start time for tickets of 4:00 PM. However, on other platforms like Ticketmaster, tickets were already offered 2 hours earlier. By 4:00 PM, everything was sold out and the fan was left without a ticket.
It seems that many potential spectators experienced the same situation, as the thread on Reddit has garnered over 14,000 upvotes.
How are the organizers reacting? Under the Reddit thread, a representative from Riot comments on the incident. He says: “The early sale accounted for only a small portion of the total available tickets. It was intended for our partners who had to secure tickets through the ticket portal this year.”
Although the early sale was presumably only intended for Riot partners, it seems that other customers also jumped on it. It is no wonder that by 4:00 PM, according to the Reddit user, the tickets were already sold out.
This is particularly bitter: For the fans who went empty-handed, there are even more reasons to be upset. Various third-party sellers are now listing the tickets for immense sums on their platforms.

Fortnite servers are going down – when and for how long?
Downtime starts in the morning: At 9:30 AM German time, you can join a new lobby for the last time. At 10 AM, the servers will no longer be accessible and Fortnite will be down.
How long will the maintenance take? Since this is a content patch, the maintenance duration should remain manageable. We expect that you will be able to rejoin by lunchtime at the latest.

What can Mad Moxxi’s weapons do?
The Crit is one of the two weapons from Mad Moxxi. Some of you might remember it from the second part of the Borderlands series. There, you received the weapon from Tiny Tina.
What are the properties of The Crit? The Crit is a weapon of epic rarity. It has shock damage, making it very effective against blue shields. The weapon is produced by the company Maliwan, one of the 9 weapon manufacturers in Borderlands 3.
The exact stats of the gun depend on its level. The version shown here, Agile Crit, gives you a bonus to critical damage, as well as to fire rate and reload speed.
Attention! The Crit has a 12% chance of being dropped while reloading – “Slippery when wet.”!
The other weapon is The Hail. The Hail might also be familiar to many. This weapon already existed in Borderlands 2 and the Pre-Sequel.
What are the properties of The Hail? With this weapon, you don’t shoot your ammunition straight ahead, but in an arc. You need to factor this in when firing. Additionally, you can choose between two methods to play this weapon. You can use it fully automatic, or in a 3-shot burst. The Hail is made by the manufacturer Dahl.

Patch from September 17 – Patch Notes
Changes to the heroes: In addition to the new challenge, Blizzard is changing some of the heroes in Overwatch.
Bastion: Self-repair no longer costs resources when used at maximum hit points and now allows Bastion to regenerate for 0.25 seconds before firing again.
Symmetra: The width of her primary fire beam has been reduced from 0.3 to 0.2 meters, and damage from 65/130/195 to 60/120/180.
Zarya: The width of the primary fire beam is now 0.15 meters regardless of energy and deals 170 damage per second at maximum energy, instead of 190.

For every victory, you receive new (temporary) cards and valuable treasures, with which you gradually build an hopefully unbeatable deck. But the enemies will also become tougher, and each encounter has a different special twist or unique mechanic.
How much does the expansion cost? The first chapter of the adventure is free and is meant to give a small taste. The other chapters, however, cost real money or gold and will be released at later dates.
The entire package costs 15 Euros.
Individual chapters cost 6.99 Euros or 700 Gold.
However, only the first two chapters are currently available. The other chapters will come in the coming weeks.
Chapter 3 starts on September 24.

Who is the Tombs of Terror suitable for? As usual, the focus in solo adventures is on fun rather than rewards in the form of card packs. What is this Area 51 hype? It started with a joke event on Facebook. The motto was: “They can’t stop us all!” The event was supposed to trigger a storming of the military exclusion zone Area 51 on September 20, 2019, with as many participants as possible. There has been speculation for many years that aliens and UFOs are stored there. When hundreds of thousands reacted to this “event,” things began to get serious.

The prologue to the new Guild Wars 2 season of the Living World is titled “Bound by Blood” and focuses on the Charr. Our author Alexander Leitsch was allowed to dive into this crazy adventure beforehand and summarized his experiences.
The Icebrood Saga is the name of the fifth season of the Living World. It starts today, September 17, with a prologue that I had the privilege to play with support from ArenaNet beforehand.
In this article, I would like to provide you with an overview of the events, content, and story of the episode. The ending will of course not be revealed.
What is the new update about? After our victory over the Elder Dragon Kralkatorrik the Charr invite us to a victory celebration. As the commander and champion of the dragon, I am expected to show up as well.
It was supposed to be a fun and relaxed festival with many activities. I was already looking forward to target shooting, the Demolition Derby, and the new metal band.
But instead, unrest and internal conflicts overshadow the event. A major challenge for groups awaits me at the end of the chapter. But let’s take it step by step.

How does everything start? Bangar Deathbringer, leader of the Blood Legion, wants to unite all Charr legions and is hosting the festival in the new area of Grothmar Valley, the home of the Charr.
But during the opening ceremony, everything goes wrong and a battle escalates. When my friend Aurene, the new Elder Dragon, intervenes in the situation, I become the scapegoat.
Instead of enjoying the festival, I now have to make amends. Fortunately, this is combined with the various activities in Grothmar Valley, which are quite fun.
Many events on a large map
What happens in Grothmar Valley? The new map is large, similar to those of the previous Living World seasons. I really like that, as I expected something smaller.
Each of the four legions hosts a large event in the valley:
With the Flame Legion, I, along with other players, burned a large Charr effigy and had to carry a torch like in the Olympics.
The Iron Legion loves to wreck vehicles. In the Demolition Derby, I can live out their dreams and compete with other players.
The Blood Legion hosts a battle in the south in a slime pit.
The Ash Legion wants me to train the young ones in target shooting on floating platforms.
The twist with these four large events is that NPCs also participate. This ensures that players who catch up on content months later don’t get bored.
What else is there? One of the four large events takes place every 15 minutes, but in between, there are many small tasks. I can either help the Charr cook or defeat champions on the map.
Additionally, an expedition leads me to the east of the map. There, I also encounter ghosts and their leader Murakai, who should be familiar to fans of Guild Wars 1. And yes, she also summons many minions for help this time.
For completing the events, I receive new map currency, keys from the respective legions, which collectively open a large gate. As a reward for all achievements, there’s a new emote: /rock out!
What is the highlight of the update? At the top of the mountain in the middle of the map, the metal band performs. And this event may have the highest fun factor in the entire game.
While the band is playing, I need to get the audience hyped up, shoo away crazy fans from the stage, fix the sound system, and fight off creatures that have been lured in.
The great part is that everything happens simultaneously. The better I and the other players perform, the higher the hype factor goes. However, if we fail, the concert might be canceled.
The songs that the band plays were specially composed and recorded for the episode. In total, there are three different works.
Challenges for 10 players
What else does the episode bring? Besides the new area, the celebrations, and the beginning of the story surrounding the Icebrood Saga, the first raid mission for 10 players is the focus of the episode.
This is cleverly integrated into the prologue, as it is a harder version of a boss fight from the story. However, you must have completed this to begin the raid mission.
How does the battle go? The huge Icebrood Elemental has various abilities that all deal damage but are not immediately lethal.
With 10 players, the battle in our attempt was relatively quick, but there are achievements that require a short time or dodging specific abilities.
Additionally, there are daily reward chests that can contain not only standard loot but also special skins. The faster I am, the more chests I get. A nice incentive to improve over time.
Drunken Norn and Brawls
How does the story continue? Over time, the festival escalates more and more. Beer is being drunk, and unrest spreads among the Charr.
More and more renegades appear and cause brawls and raids on the celebrants. Even my friend Braham has to suffer, so I have to bail him out of jail after a drunken fight.
Something is not right, but I leave the resolution of the whole issue to you during your play of the new episode. You can now play it for free, provided you own the expansion Path of Fire.
