Regarding the current drama about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, a developer from Infinity Ward has now spoken out. He says that they are aware of all the community discussions, but players should stick to the facts.
What kind of “drama” is going on? The shooter Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is about to be released. In this hot phase, new information and rumors are piling up. Partly to the discomfort of the fans.
Shortly thereafter, rumors arose from a data miner. He claims that Modern Warfare will likely offer weapons in loot boxes. This has not been officially confirmed, but the community was not pleased and called for a boycott.
What does the developer say? After the mood in the community had significantly shifted, a developer spoke up. Joel Emslie, the Studio Art Director from Infinity Ward, addresses the players in his Reddit thread “The Developer’s Perspective” and urges players to focus on facts and not half-baked rumors.
He addresses the “current drama” regarding Modern Warfare, but does not specify any particular topic. He mentions that he reads all the toxic comments as well and would understand if someone is having a bad day. However, when giving feedback, it should be considered that the developers are also human.
“Our interest lies solely in the game itself. There are some announcements that have surfaced this week. Some are official, others are rumors. My plea to all of you is to focus on information that is actually factual. Don’t let yourselves be confused by ill-informed individuals who want to make a name for themselves by spreading half-baked rumors.
Let’s work together to solve real problems and not listen to fairy tales about the bogeyman.”
He possibly wants to address the loot box issue. However, this remains unclear after this statement.
What do players say about this? The thread received a lot of attention on Reddit, with over 2100 comments. The following comment was rated the highest:
“I greatly appreciate the gesture and you and Infinity Ward immensely. You can tell that a lot of hard work has gone into the game. We just want clear answers about the microtransaction system. Especially since this system in Black Ops 4 was solely there to take money from the consumer. We would hate to see that in Modern Warfare. It’s not your choice, but Activisi$ion’s, but a little clarity would be nice,” writes user devinate.
Other players emphasize in the thread that they have absolutely nothing against the developers at Infinity Ward. The anger and disappointment would rather be directed at Activision or Sony, who are more responsible for exclusivity or microtransactions.
What points Modern Warfare can use to even convince critics, you can see here:
Our author Sven was invited by Bungie to Seattle and was able to try out some content from Destiny 2 Shadowkeep in advance – including the new Nightfall mode “The Crucible Test”. Read here what awaits you in the new Nightfalls.
Attention, Spoiler! Continue at your own risk!
What exactly could I play? Bungie showcased the new Nightfall format “Dusk: The Crucible Test” to us along with the Moon and the first story mission of Shadowkeep. In this context, we were able to play one of the two new Shadowkeep strikes at two different difficulty levels.
At first, we jumped straight into the battle without tips. The second time, we fought after a brief introduction to the new seasonal artifact and its role. The developers wanted to demonstrate the differences between the difficulty levels and the influence of tailored gear – and the experience really differed enormously.
What is Dusk: The Crucible Test? With the release of Shadowkeep, the Nightfall experience is being revamped. If you want to tackle this challenging version of the strikes, you can choose from a total of 4 difficulty levels in Dusk: The Crucible Test:
Master (recommended power level 750)
Hero (recommended power level 920)
Legend (recommended power level 950)
Grandmaster (recommended power level 980)
With increasing difficulty, the number of modifiers also increases. Additionally, a new type of enemy has been introduced – the Champions. These are particularly tough, have special abilities, and can dish out serious damage themselves.
The first two levels, by the way, feature matchmaking, meaning a player search. For Legend and Grandmaster, however, you still need a pre-made team.
That’s why the new Nightfalls are challenging
Here’s how our first attempt went: First, we played (power level 951) the Crucible Test Nightfall at the second of four levels – so on Hero (920). The strike itself led us into the Scarlet Fortress, where we pursued Hashladûn, the daughter of Crota.
The strike actually went quite smoothly until we encountered the first Champion – a Barrier Knight. There, we initially struggled for several minutes. The Champion dealt heavy damage even at this difficulty level, and just before we managed to defeat him, he received an overshield that seemed to absorb all our projectiles.
Additionally, the new enemy healed almost completely within a few moments inside his shield, so we were only able to take him down after coordinating and using nearly all our power ammunition along with a super at the right moment.
During the course of the strike, we encountered these enemies several more times. It was particularly tough when we had to battle two of them simultaneously while clearing some smaller enemies. Even though we were more than 30 levels above the enemies – against the Champions, you really never noticed that. Later, we even faced a Champion Ogre that we struggled against immensely.
Yes, we hardly coordinated in the first run, the gear was not yet optimized, and we were not familiar with the details about the new type of enemy. Yet, the experience felt tougher compared to previous Nightfalls. In the time we were given of just under 25 minutes, we couldn’t even make it to the final boss.
This is what was in the briefing: The developers approached us afterward and explained some details for the Crucible Test:
The Champions have specific symbols (triangle, square, circle) above their heads according to their properties (Barrier, Unstoppable, Overload).
These symbols will also be listed before the strike alongside the modifiers, so you know ahead of time what kind of enemy you’ll encounter.
If you want to effectively combat these enemies, the seasonal artifact comes into play. If you level this artifact (which was already fully unlocked for us), you’ll gain access to specific mods that make your life against the Champions easier. These mods are marked with corresponding symbols (triangle, square, circle) that correspond to the Champions.
These mods can enable certain weapons to quickly breach the shields of Barrier Knights when you use them in your arsenal. This also interrupts or prevents their health regeneration, making it easier to fight these opponents.
Because at higher difficulty levels, it’s nearly impossible to defeat Champions with brute force without corresponding artifact mods.
Additionally, Armor 2.0 and properly aligning your armor significantly aid in combat. For example, if your super charges faster (with the right stats, it really is significantly quicker), you can use your ultimate ability more often or have it available exactly when you need it. And especially against Champions, your super often needs to hit at the exact moment.
Here’s how the second attempt went: Our second attempt took place at the Legend difficulty level. We were still at power level 951, but the recommended level was now 950.
The Nightfall was noticeably tougher this time. However, we were better equipped and prepared. We had fully leveled the energy of our armors and tailored them with mods for specific roles. Our weapons now also carried corresponding artifact mods. In addition, we communicated much more and coordinated better – especially in battles against the Champions.
And all this was incredibly necessary. Because these fights proved to be significantly harder. With the right tactic and communication, it went much smoother at the same time. While we felt we needed nearly all 3 supers per Champion along with a lot of power ammunition after tweaking them with modified kinetic or energy weapons, thanks to our coordination and well-timed attacks, we managed much better than in the first attempt. Still, we struggled against one or another Champion – especially the Ogre.
Also, even in the second attempt, we didn’t quite reach the final boss (none of the attending press representatives completed the strike) – but definitely further than before. The experience was satisfying, even if it required noticeably more “sweat”. Because at higher difficulty levels, the new Nightfall demands more from Guardians than the current version. You have to do more, pay attention to more things, and react to more factors than before.
I don’t remember the last time I had such a strenuous Nightfall run. At the same time, I also don’t remember the last time I had so much fun in the Dusk as in this attempt – even if we didn’t make it to the boss.
Conclusion: Whether this experience changes over time, with a well-rehearsed team, more routine, better gear, and increasing power level (especially due to endless leveling with the artifact), remains to be seen.
However, during my visit, “Dusk: The Crucible Test” was immensely enjoyable. The fights are more tactical, require significantly more communication and coordination, and the choice and coordination of gear and abilities are noticeably more important. Otherwise, the Nightfalls at increasing difficulty levels are hardly manageable. In their new form, the Dusk is finally a real challenge – and a fun one at that.
By the way, at Grandmaster, the Nightfall is supposed to be even tougher.
That’s why the new Nightfalls are worth it
Here’s how you will be rewarded: The tougher battles with increasing difficulty are not only meant to provide more challenge and fun – they are also supposed to offer attractive incentives to undertake the Dusk.
In the difficulty levels of Legend and Grandmaster, you have a higher chance of Exotics. Additionally, you will also receive rare materials such as enhancement prisms or ascendant shards (only on Grandmaster), which you need to boost the energy level of your “Armor 2.0.” gear pieces.
The Nightfalls were not only mechanically revamped, but they will also play a significant role regarding your gear and thus character development.

However, keep in mind: My team consisted of press representatives (all average or good players) who were sent into the strike completely blind and clueless the first time. Nexxoss, being an excellent Guardian, was in a team with two other top players who make a living playing games. Accordingly, the experience in the video may sometimes differ from my experiences.
What do you think of this new Nightfall system? Does it make you excited for more? Or do you prefer the previous system?
In The Elder Scrolls Online, players and developers are intensely discussing the topic of class identity. Many players desire more uniqueness in their class. The developers respond to this while simultaneously doing the opposite.
How are the developers responding to the request? Gameplay Lead Rob Garret has published a lengthy post about class identity based on player feedback.
In it, he notes that fans are currently discussing the topic a lot, and the developers have also begun to ponder it. Therefore, he defines class identity for players through two areas:
Power representation – What type of power the class can use (Necromancers use death magic, Templars use holy light).
Gameplay patterns – Supporters can not only heal, but also shield, buff or apply healing over time. This also includes the resource that a specific class has available.
So what is the problem? The developers’ descriptions fit well into the picture of what players expect for their classes. Users on reddit also appreciate this, such as PvE StamDK:
Nice article, good to know that the developers understand what class identity is.
However, the second part of his statement makes the problem very clear:
It would be good if the changes on the test server do not implement exactly the opposite of this vision. But they do.
PvE StamDK is referring to the current changes that can be tested with Update 24 and the new DLC Dragonhold.
Changes to the Dragonknight Do Not Provide Identity
What is happening on the PTS? With Update 24, the Dragonknight should particularly regain a piece of its identity. However, the changes are not making players happy.
I cannot see how you want to give the Dragonknight “class identity” when you are nerfing the class’s key skills, the DoTs.
DKs were not strong in the first place and you are making the class useless.
On reddit, the user kriezek also complains about design decisions:
Dragonknights represent fire and fury. Now being able to throw stones does not quite fit for me as a knight or flames. It reminds me more of a troll.
The user Bug1oss also wonders why the stone thrown at enemies heals allies. That also would not fit the class.
What do players want? Many players demand that classes do not necessarily have to fulfill every role. They desire more special features for the classes that they have experienced from other Elder Scrolls games.
ESOs class system was completely new and an unnecessarily created obstacle for the franchise. The game is incredibly poor at capturing the iconic classes of an Elder Scrolls.
The user DragonNameRed wishes that the developers would first go back to the drawing board and completely redesign the classes.
[..]Valve has utilized a philosophy for Dota 2 and Team Fortress 2 for balance. Strengthens identity while making weaknesses harder. This is perfect for PvP and usually works in PvE.
Even though the text about class identities has been well received, it is now mainly up to the developers to implement this. Players on reddit agree on this.
What do you think about more class identity? And how do you see ESO evolving right now?
In Pokémon GO there is currently a large wave of bans against seemingly innocent players. Apparently, only players with a Xiaomi phone are affected.
This is the ban wave: On Reddit, more and more players report that they have received a 30-day ban or a warning from Pokémon GO.
The common factor here: All players are using a device from Xiaomi. Currently, reactions from Niantic regarding the situation are awaited.
Unjust Ban? Niantic does not respond
This is what players report: On Reddit, players are actively exchanging thoughts about the wave of bans and it is noticeable that most players seem to have installed software update 10.3.2 on their Xiaomi devices. It seems that Niantic views part of this update as a violation of their guidelines. However, these are just speculations from players so far.
These messages have been received by affected players
How does Niantic respond to this? So far, there has been no real reaction to the problem. Many players have reportedly already contacted support, but received no response or only sporadic ones.
What can affected players do now? Currently, one can only wait for reactions from Niantic. Those who own a Xiaomi device and have not yet applied the problematic software update should not do so now. The risk of getting banned here is high.
Affected players have already set up a Google Document where other players can sign up. There, it can be checked whether other devices have also been banned without the affected update.
Those looking for friends in Pokémon GO who live far away should check this out:
This week’s edition of the community stream “State of the Game” confirms Title Update 6 for The Division 2 as the largest expansion since release and sets the release for mid-October. Episode 2 sends the agents to the Pentagon – developers hope for a greater build diversity after the update.
Episode 2 or Title Update 6, what is coming for The Division 2? The developers talked in the 134th edition of the community livestream “State of the Game” about the content of the next big Title Update 6 and made it clear: Title Update 6 and Episode 2 will arrive simultaneously and it will be the largest expansion since release.
The update is expected to arrive in mid-October, it is free for all “The Division 2” players and is part of the Year 1 content – owners of the “Year One Pass” will get access to the new content one week before everyone else.
Episode 2 sends you to the Pentagon
So far, hardly anything has been revealed about the new, playable content of Episode 2. At the moment, it is only known that Episode 2 will send the agents with several missions towards the Pentagon, the former Department of Defense of the USA.
In the announcements from earlier this year, it was stated: The Pentagon will be stormed to obtain important information. Many players suspect a new raid in the pentagonal ministry building.
Massive hopes for more efficient builds with Title Update 6
Title Update 6 is a re-build update, but what does that mean? With the update, many changes are coming for the agents. This includes new content, a bunch of balance changes, new inventory features and much more. However, there is also a lot of work being done on building and assembling new builds.
The most significant intervention in the builds is seen by developers and players as the realignment of the passive armor talents. The talents can no longer be stacked, which will force many builds to be reconfigured.
Players criticize this step and say that the time they invested in building their builds will not be appreciated. The “Eagle Bearer nerf” was also heavily criticized.
Developers under criticism
How is Massive dealing with the criticism? Massive openly communicates that these measures will also upset some agents. But they also say that it was necessary to implement these “build-changing” changes.
Balancing of this magnitude will however not become the norm.
The adjustments have been live on the PC test servers for some time and the build diversity has reportedly increased noticeably. The significant build changes are already bearing fruit.
New Exotic Knee Pads for TU6 confirmed – Sawyer’s Kneepads
Weapons also in focus
Is anything happening to the weapons? The most important tools of every Division agent are also being significantly adjusted. The developers’ main goal is to design the weapons in the game so that all firearms are truly playable and offer an advantage in certain situations.
The deciding argument for or against a weapon should no longer be damage, as is currently the case. Instead, handling, sound, characteristics and the feel with the weapon should be the focus.
New shotgun for TU6 confirmed – KSG Shotgun
To ensure this, first the weapon classes were compared with each other and then the damage output was adjusted. For example, LMGs and SMGs receive a general buff to keep up with the other classes. The sniper rifles also receive adjustments, with the exception of the already very strong M700.
Within the respective weapon classes, values have been adjusted so that the weapons cause similar damage over a certain period of time, for example, 2 minutes of continuous fire including reloading. Some insightful graphics were shown during the stream.

State of the Game confirms PTS content
What else has been confirmed? The stream contained some official statements about content that had already been found on the test servers, but were not yet included in the preliminary patch notes.
All of these things are currently still being worked on, and in what form they will eventually land in the game cannot yet be determined. Findings on the PTS have however already revealed some details. So the name of the new specialization may already be known.
The new specialization is likely a support-oriented “Technician” – The photo of the agent “VukasinDordevic” shows a new drone skill called “Artificer”. The new “Hive” improves allies’ skills and increases their duration.
Next update full of content
What else is known about TU6? In recent weeks, there have been continuous updates on the upcoming update. The now newly announced changes followed many pieces of information about the expansion set to be released in mid-October.
The Weekend League in FIFA 20 is the most important competitive mode in FUT. Here you will learn how to qualifyand when you can register.
This is the Weekend League: The Weekend League of FIFA 20 Ultimate Team takes place every weekend starting in October. The goal is to successfully complete up to 30 games over the weekend. Depending on the number of victories, there are great rewards on the following Thursday – by the way, also in Division Rivals.
This is how the qualification and registration works in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team
When does the Weekend League start? The first Weekend League takes place between October 4 and October 7, 2019. You can register until October 5, 2019 – that is, Saturday.
How long do you have to register? Saturday is the last registration day for the respective Weekend League. You have 24 hours after the Weekend League starts to participate. The registration period ends on Saturday at 9 a.m.
This is how you qualify through Division Rivals: The first way to qualify for the Weekend League is through FUT Division Rivals. To qualify for the Weekend League, you need to earn 2000 FUT Champions points through Division Rivals.
Depending on the division, this can happen at different speeds. For a win in Division 10, you only get about 20 points, while in Division 1 you receive 500. So if you have made it to Division 1, you actually only need four victories to qualify – but the road there is long.
Once you have collected the points, you can redeem them whenever you want. They do not have to be redeemed for the next weekend. So choose a weekend when you also have enough time to participate.
This is how you qualify through the Weekend League: If you have made it into the Weekend League, you can already qualify for the next competition with enough victories, without having to play Division Rivals again.
Because: Even the Weekend League matches bring FUT Champions points. If you reach the Bronze 3 rank, you receive 250 points, for Bronze 2 it’s already 500.
To directly earn the required points, you must achieve at least the Gold 3 rank. Then you get 2000 FUT Champions points right away. To reach Gold 3, you need to achieve 14 victories. However, this is not easy – so you need a strong team for FUT.
To succeed in the Weekend League, you should know how to defend well. We will show you how:
In Borderlands 3, you can currently get good loot from bosses. Particularly, the boss Graveward has proven to be lucrative.
How to farm bosses: In Borderlands 3, it is possible to fight many bosses again. Once the questline for the respective boss is completed, you can return to the fight area to challenge the boss again.
Especially in the endgame, this can be worthwhile if you are looking for a strong challenge using the Mayhem Mode. Then there is also good loot and plenty of XP – especially one boss stands out.
Note: If you absolutely want to avoid spoilers, it’s better not to read any further from here.
Legendary weapons are the best weapons in the game
Farming Graveward and Location
Here you can find Graveward: Graveward appears during the story. He can be found at the “Altar of the Guardians” on Eden-6.
That’s why you should defeat Graveward: Graveward has proven to be a boss that particularly likes to drop legendary loot. You can get many of the currently 122 discovered legendary weapons from him.
Especially with the Mayhem Mode activated, he leaves behind a powerful weapon or two when you take him down. You also get plenty of XP when defeating him – Graveward is suitable for quick leveling.
This is important to note: If you go against him with the Mayhem Mode activated, Graveward will logically become more difficult. Especially on level 3, the Mayhem modifiers can really pose a challenge. Some mods can weaken bullet damage or elements can hinder you.
You can view the mods on the map before the fight. If there are too many negative modifications, you can reload your game – that reshuffles the mods.
How to defeat Graveward
This is how you defeat Graveward: On reddit, many players have identified Graveward as a good loot spot and devised tactics. Especially the strong Porcelain Pipe Bomb was massively effective against Graveward, but was nerfed via patch.
A popular weapon against Graveward is now the “Lyuda”. You can get it, for example, by completing all of Zer0’s opportunity targets. A reddit user managed to take down the boss using critical hits with the Lyuda in ten seconds at Mayhem level 2. You can see this in the video here:

Graveward’s weak points: The glowing spots on Graveward’s body are his weak points – and your targets. Otherwise, you are well set up with fire damage. Be especially careful not to fall off the moving platform!
Once you have defeated him, you can look forward to plenty of XP and strong weapons. If you are looking for more tasks – especially for the endgame – you will find them here:
The Fortnite star Ninja is participating in the TV show “Masked Singer”. Behind an ice costume, he delivers a show but unfortunately gets eliminated in the first round.
What kind of show is it? “The Masked Singer” is an American TV show where various stars dress up and sing in front of a jury. The jury must then guess who the star is. Now everyone is talking about Ninja, who sang in an ice costume.
How did the performance look? Ninja sang in the ice costume a cover of Devo’s “Whip It” and also the viral song by Lil Nas X “Old Town Road”. The performance is cheerful and colorful, matching well with the ice costume.
Unfortunately, the Fortnite star Ninja in the ice costume could not convince the audience with his show and was sent home right after the first round.
Here is the video of the performance of “Old Town Road”:
https://youtu.be/lYvXOoiYbEo
The video of the performance of “Lil Whip” can be found here on YouTube.
Behind the costume is a Fortnite star!
Why did Ninja participate in “Masked Singer”? Ninja admitted that he actually participated for his wife, Jessica Blevins, because she is a huge fan of the show “The Masked Singer”. However, he also enjoys making people laugh. He says: “I will miss making people laugh, and I think a lot of people like my ice costume.”
However, he also admitted that he had never sung in front of so many people. He said: “So far, I have only sung in front of at most 6 people, never in front of hundreds of people. I don’t even sing in front of myself!”
Here is the video of Ninja being revealed behind the ice costume:

What does the community think about the performance? Mostly, people are enthusiastic about Ninja’s performance, and they comment under the YouTube video of Ninja’s performance:
“As soon as I saw the dancers doing the (Ninja dance), I knew immediately it was Ninja. Well done! It takes a lot of courage to step out of the comfort zone and perform in front of so many people. Respect!”
“To be honest, I’m not a big Ninja fan. However, it is difficult to sing in front of so many people when you’re a gamer. He has my respect.”
“I think Ninja should sing on his YouTube channel.”
Have you heard that the mechs suddenly explode? What’s going on?
In time for Halloween, PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) has released exciting skins for players to use. There were issues with the lion, as its tail was positioned unfavorably during flight.
What kind of skin is this? October brings Halloween, and in line with this spooky event, there are a bunch of new skins for the battle royale shooter PUBG. Among them is a surprisingly good-looking skeleton. Also available is a pirate captain, swashbuckler costume, Kansas, and scarecrow sets.
You can directly purchase the lion costume “The Leo” for BP. And exactly with this skin there were problems.
This was the problem: Players in PUBG noticed that the lion Leo exhibited unusual flight behavior. Because its tail, which should have flapped in the wind, was stiffly visible between its legs. After jumping from the plane, the following image appeared for PUBG players on their way to the play area:
What PUBG did: Shortly after the problem became known, the developers of PUBG removed the Leo skin from the game. On Twitter, PUBG support writes: “Please note that the Leo jumpsuit is temporarily not available for purchase while we work on an issue with this skin. Players who have already purchased this skin will receive their BP back.”
It was not officially confirmed that the skin was disabled due to an optical penis problem, but the community strongly assumes so.
As you might expect, this optical “problem” was an interesting topic in the community. A thread on Reddit with a screenshot of the lion skin reached 6,800 upvotes.
There are many comments like:
“Oh look, it’s a male lion”
“Yer I heard they had an issue which was caused by a (fore)skin”
“Why did they have to remove it? That was the best skin they ever designed”
“Why are you disabling it? It’s exactly for such reasons that I play PUBG hahaha”
Role-playing is a significant topic for many fans of Fallout 76. They enjoy embodying the “Good” and the “Evil” in the game. Recently, there was a larger plot involving an arrest – and a real court trial.
Who is being accused? It concerns the Warlord of the Raider group “The Vultures”, which plays an important role in a role-playing plot with over 200 members. A group called Fallout Five-0 fights against the Vultures in several episodes.
After some battles and the dismantling of a Raiders’ camp, the Warlord was finally apprehended. The players then gathered in a makeshift courtroom to hold a proper trial.
The trial.
This is how the trial proceeds: The trial runs according to more or less correct standards of the US court system or at least has been inspired by it. There are:
a judge
a defender
a prosecutor (the people of Appalachia)
a jury
audience
All participants are played by real players, and the trial was even recorded on video. Fallout Five-0 often makes amateur videos about their plots.
There is also a video of the court trial. This will be posted on social channels so players can vote on what happens to the Warlord.
Role-playing in Fallout 76 – Here’s how it works
Who are these groups anyway? Both the Vultures and Fallout Five-0 are groups of players who bring Fallout 76 to life in their own way. They are role-players, meaning they embody characters in Appalachia – just like the player of Preston Garvey.
The Vultures are a raider group that terrorizes, robs, and causes chaos for other players. They do all the things that NPC raiders did in previous Fallout games.
The Vultures.
Fallout Five-0, presumably inspired by the popular crime series Hawaii Five-0, is somewhat like the police station of Fallout 76. They ensure a pleasant coexistence and deal with troublemakers like the Vultures.
How does role-playing work? The players choose a role and then embody it. Following that, something usually unfolds that arises naturally from the game itself: conflicts, friendships, events.
Fallout Five-0 ensures that members always have something to do with overarching “quests” and that there is a plot to follow. Information can be found on their homepage.
The judge in the trial.
Another peculiarity: If a character dies in the plot, that character is out. Death is permanent, and you cannot participate in the role-playing with that character anymore; you need a new one.
Although Sylvanas has left the Horde in World of Warcraft, there are still NPCs who are loyal to her. Some even lie brazenly.
The cinematic of the battle between Saurfang and Sylvanas was definitely the major highlight of Patch 8.2.5 in World of Warcraft. But while Sylvanas made her escape in classic “Team Rocket” style at the end, not all of her followers have lost faith in the Banshee Queen. At least, that is what players can experience who have sworn loyalty to Sylvanas until the end.
What can be seen? Those who have remained loyal to Sylvanas until the end in World of Warcraft will be rewarded with a special cutscene, where the Banshee Queen speaks more about her plans. But that is not all. Some details in the game world can also be noticed only by players who have stayed on the side of the Dark Lady.
There are some NPCs “Former Banshee Loyalists” that roam through Orgrimmar. They repeatedly proclaim exclamations such as the following:
We will never be betrayed like this again. If we ever see Sylvanas again, we will show her what happens to those who betray the Forsaken!
And while that sounds like the NPC is really angry with Sylvanas, players who are loyal to Sylvanas immediately receive a whispered message from this NPC:
For the Dark Lady. Forever.
This makes it clear that some characters are still loyal to Sylvanas, and her appearance at the gates of Orgrimmar has not changed that.
Is there more to come? Whether there are still enough “real” characters who remain loyal to Sylvanas in the shadows and await a sign from her is still unknown. But the mere fact that these characters still exist and players have had the choice until now to stand on the side of the Banshee gives hope. Perhaps the end of the war campaign is not the end of a player’s loyalty to Sylvanas. But we will probably only notice this during the course of the next expansion.
What do you think about these NPCs and their declarations of loyalty? Is this a cool detail that enhances the story? Or are you dissatisfied with the outcome of the war?
The beta of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has concluded and has even convinced harsh critics. We give you 5 reasons why opinions are so positive.
The Call of Duty series has been on the market since 2003 and experienced shooter experts already have a fixed idea of what to expect here.
However, Modern Warfare has changed the perspective on the series. Even critics of CoD are now convinced. This is not without reason, and there are several reasons for it. We outline them here.
5 reasons that make Modern Warfare so special
This is generally different: Infinity Ward announced early on that Modern Warfare would be developed in a different manner. It focuses on the brutal reality of warfare and aims to be detailed and direct.
This has caught the attention of many critics again. Many of them are now enthusiastic about Modern Warfare after the beta and the numerous trailers.
Modern Warfare introduces new game modes
This excites critics: If you were a fan of large battles, you could not really get much from Call of Duty before. However, Modern Warfare has changed that significantly. Infinity Ward introduced the Ground War mode, bringing the largest game mode in CoD history.
In the beta, Ground War was able to excite up to 64 players at once. Huge battles can now finally be celebrated in a Call of Duty.
New maps that nurture many thoughts
This excites critics: So far, there were many small maps in the world of Call of Duty that promised close combat. If you wanted to play on large maps, you usually had to go with competitors like Battlefield. However, everything changes with Modern Warfare.
Even tanks can be found on the large maps
The developers promised the largest maps in the history of Call of Duty. But this is not the only innovation with the maps. Many fans are excited that they now have to play much more tactically in CoD.
The warfare has been brought to the forefront here. You no longer run along the classic 3 paths through the map, but now play on asymmetric maps. These are incredibly realistic and reflect the theme of Modern Warfare: brutal modern warfare.
Modern Warfare returns to its roots
This excites critics: The last shooters in the series were often very colorful and crazy. Think, for example, of Infinite Warfare, where you flew around with jetpacks in a high-tech suit. Modern Warfare, on the other hand, remains classic and that is received very well.
Our colleagues at GameStar summarize the point well and state: “It is the elements that are not in Modern Warfare that make it so good.” There is no fluff, but the game stays close to reality.

Even critics write under the videos that they are blown away. The trailers logically increase the anticipation for the release and keep the mood largely positive.
Infinity Ward responds directly to criticism and earns praise
This excites critics: At the start of the first beta on the PS4, there was significant criticism right from the beginning. The absence of the minimap was particularly in focus. However, the developers reacted quickly to it and brought an alternative that was well received by many fans.
In general, Infinity Ward takes the feedback on the beta very seriously and also lets the players know. There were regular statements from the developers during the beta.
This kept even critics calm, as one could see that their concerns were being addressed.
Some details in the beta, however, are things that players want to see revised:
In Destiny 2, Bungie is changing the new pinnacle weapons in Season 8. They will become ritual weapons. What does that mean?
This is about these weapons: Pinnacle weapons are legendary weapons in Destiny 2 that you receive through elaborate quests. Each season, a new Vanguard, Crucible, and Gambit pinnacle weapon is added. These have unique perks and are among the best weapons in the game, such as the Recluse or Luna’s Howl.
What is changing in Season 8? As Bungie informs now, the new pinnacle weapons of the Season of the Undying, Season 8, will no longer be “pinnacle” weapons. They will even be renamed to “ritual weapons.” This means:
They no longer have special perks
They only have a curated roll
Since they are no longer “pinnacle weapons”, their quests will not be too lengthy
Why are new pinnacle weapons becoming ritual weapons?
This is what the developers say: According to Bungie, this was a difficult decision but a necessary one. There were several reasons why they no longer deliver extremely powerful pinnacle weapons:
Many of the current pinnacle weapons are currently significantly more effective than intended
They cause problems in the ecosystem, especially the Crucible pinnacle weapons. Because they are also very strong in PvE, Guardians who normally play little or no PvP are forced to use the best loadouts in the Crucible.
Moreover, pinnacle weapons should not be the only best legendary weapons, but they were meant to be interesting new additions that are worth hunting.
These problems became increasingly apparent as more pinnacle weapons were introduced into the game. Therefore, it has now been decided to not introduce any new pinnacle weapons in Season 8, but ritual weapons instead.
Bungie has now revealed what the new ritual weapons of Season 8 will look like.
These are the new ritual weapons in Season 8
In Season 8, there will be three new ritual weapons:
Ritual Vanguard weapon – Edgewise (a machine gun):
The ritual Crucible weapon – Randy’s Throwing Knife (looks like a scout rifle):
And the ritual Gambit weapon – Exit Strategy (a submachine gun):
Legendary weapons will be nerfed
This is what Bungie says about legendary weapons in Season 8: According to Bungie, legendary weapons are currently generally too powerful. In many cases, they outclass exotic primary weapons, so they will soon be slightly nerfed – in the form of perk nerfs.
For example, Bungie says: In Destiny 1, there was a perk called Crowd Control, which could increase damage by up to 15%. This was the predecessor of the Rampage perk in Destiny 2. Rampage, however, can provide a damage bonus of up to 67% – which is a significant increase compared to Destiny 1 times.
Therefore, the effectiveness of these perks in PvE will be nerfed:
Rampage
Kill Clip
Swashbuckler
Multikill Clip
Desperado
Surrounded
Master of Arms
Onslaught
The Recluse
How is the community reacting to the ritual weapons? This is a big topic on reddit. “RIP pinnacle weapons” is being read. Moreover, people would have preferred more unique weapons instead of weapons with curated rolls. These don’t have to be extremely powerful, but at least unique.
The ritual weapons seem to be nothing special in their current form, which is disappointing, one writes. “Reskins with fixed rolls,” summarizes another the weapons.
One Guardian states that it is definitely a shame that there will be no new pinnacle perks, but it is also understandable.
By the way: From “This Week at Bungie” it was not clearly stated whether the previous pinnacle weapons will still be obtainable when Bungie shifts to ritual weapons in Season 8. However, community manager Cozmo states on reddit: “You can still get them.” He also confirms that old pinnacle weapons will retain their unique perks.
What buffs and nerfs Bungie will bring to the weapons, you can find out here:
Actually, the survival MMO Last Oasis was supposed to launch into Early Access on October 10. However, the developers indicate that they need more time to stand out more from other survival games.
What is Last Oasis? The MMO Last Oasis features an interesting story. The Earth has stopped spinning. This has caused much of the world to be burned. Nomads travel with their self-built, wooden vehicles between the last oases to survive.
You belong to these last survivors, gathering resources, defending against mutants and monsters as well as hostile players, and upgrading your vehicle to have better chances. You must always be careful not to get into the direct sunlight, which can be deadly.

“At the start, we want to stand out from other survival games,” said Donkey Crew’s Project Lead, Florian “chadz” Hofreither. “This means we are taking more time to improve the gameplay and pack in even more content. We have decided to continue to improve the game together with the community in 2020, so that Last Oasis reaches its full potential.”
What exactly is to be improved? The developers indicate that they are working on the gameplay mechanics, items, creatures, buildings, features, and endgame activities to satisfy both PVE and PVP players. Additionally, improvements to existing features are planned.
What does that mean exactly? There are many survival games on the market, including Rust, Conan Exiles, and DayZ. Competing against these titles, which have already built a community, is anything but easy.
Therefore, a new survival game needs to stand out from previous games in some way. And the developers of Last Oasis now want to achieve exactly that. But they need a little more time for it.
We need patience
When will the Early Access phase start now? The team did not provide a specific date. However, it is said to be early 2020.
What does the community say about the delay? This is not the first time that the Early Access phase has had to be postponed. It was originally planned for September 3. Therefore, some now feel it is a “running gag”.
Others understand that a survival game today must stand out from other genre representatives. No one would benefit if Last Oasis were released and hardly anyone was interested because it offers nothing new.
On September 24, the game Ashes of Creation Apocalypse was released in Early Access. Is it worth playing and do fans of the MMORPG have advantages?
What is Apocalypse? Apocalypse is a standalone PvP game for the MMORPG Ashes of Creation. You play as an avatar, but you cannot freely move through the world; instead, you can only join arenas through a lobby.
Currently, Apocalypse offers you a game mode, Battle Royale, but two more are expected to follow in the future.
Why could Apocalypse be interesting? Currently, Ashes of Creation is still in a pre-alpha stage, so Apocalypse is the only way to get familiar with the combat system.
Additionally, the PvP game offers rewards that you can later transfer to the MMORPG.
Battle Royale with Many Abilities
What can I experience in Apocalypse? In the Battle Royale of Apocalypse, you dive into a fight to the death with 40 other players.
You start without equipment and will be dropped over a map. On the ground, you will find, hidden in buildings, bushes, or forests,
Weapons
Armor
Spells
and explosive potions.
The goal of the Battle Royale is to be the last player standing, while the play area gets smaller throughout the match. At some point, there will be a final confrontation, where hiding can be particularly helpful at the start of a round.
How does it play? Apocalypse plays like a typical Battle Royale, where the equipment you find plays an important role. Those who want the best items usually get into skirmishes immediately after landing on the ground. A round can thus end quickly.
Everything feels more dynamic and modern now. The animations are also smoother than they were a few months ago. Overall, this contributes to a greater gaming experience.
What is the performance of Apocalypse like? Since the release on September 24, there have already been various problems:
The launch of the game was delayed by about 2 hours
There were issues with the client throughout Wednesday
For EU servers, there was a 4-hour maintenance on Wednesday
There are some issues with latency and server lags
In the meantime, patches have been applied and everything ran smoothly in our last gaming sessions. Overall, the game’s performance has significantly improved compared to 2018 and runs more smoothly now.
Advantages for the MMORPG, but also Microtransactions
What rewards are there? For fans of the MMORPG, there are various cosmetic rewards that you can take with you to Ashes of Creation later.
Additionally, there is a free Battle Pass, where you can work through weekly quests. Everything you unlock will be usable in both Apocalypse and the MMORPG. This includes:
Hair colors
Weapons
Armor
and mount skins.
What do you get for real money? In addition to the free Battle Pass, there is a paid one. For this, you need to spend 1,000 Ember, which is approximately 10 Euros.
The legendary Battle Pass grants you:
Additional skins
XP, which allows you to level the free pass faster
and new emotes.
Besides the paid pass, there is also a shop where you can directly purchase rewards from the pass. Individual skins cost between 800 and 2,000 Ember, while emotes range from 400 to 600 Ember.
Through the free pass, you earn 200 Ember per season, and through the paid one, you earn another 700. A season lasts for 12 weeks.
Fun Rounds, but Issues with Performance and Player Count
Is Apocalypse worth it? If you enjoy Battle Royale and prefer a setting in a medieval fantasy world over a shooter like Fortnite, then you will definitely find Ashes of Creation Apocalypse to be an interesting candidate.
For fans of Ashes of Creation, the game is also interesting because it offers special rewards.
However, the player count is currently still low, which means you may have to wait several minutes for a new match at inconvenient times. Additionally, there are still issues regarding lags and server uptime, at least in Europe.
Furthermore, the extensive monetization can be debated, although it does not provide any gameplay advantages.
Apocalypse is free, and with a download, you have nothing to lose. So make up your own mind and feel free to comment on your experiences with the PvP game.
The creation of the legendary item “Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros” causes a Classic-WoW server to lag. No wonder, with hundreds watching.
In the classic version of World of Warcraft, legendary items are a rare sight. When you see someone carrying Medivh’s Staff, the sword Thunderfury, or Sulfuras, you know that a lot of work and time went into it. Such a feat is duly recognized by other players – especially when a “Streamer Guild” has contributed to it.
What happened? Along with many other streamers, Asmongold, one of the current top streamers, plays on the Faerlina server. There, he is not only the figurehead of the guild Olympus but also of other guilds, as one alone was not enough for his viewers and fans. This means that the guilds Olympus II, Olympus III, and Olympus IV are also represented and quite active.
When the guild could finally craft the first hammer “Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros” on the realm, hundreds of players were present, causing massive lags.
Not Asmongold got the hammer: Asmongold himself is not the bearer of the hammer, even though he contributed significantly. His character was able to craft the epic “Sulfuron Hammer,” which is needed as the base for the legendary weapon. The weapon was then passed on to the winner of the “Eye of Sulfuras,” who could then create the legendary hammer himself.

Server stalls, cannot process requests: When the player Octobers crafted the hammer, hundreds of players had gathered in Ironforge. There were such delays that Asmongold couldn’t even “view” the player to check if he had already equipped the hammer. That only succeeded after many seconds. Strangely enough, you couldn’t really “see” the character, as there were simply too many players standing on top of each other to recognize anything.

This event beautifully shows how great the joy and interest in World of Warcraft Classic is and how special obtaining a legendary item in this world was. It is a remarkable group achievement and not something a single player could accomplish.
Is your guild already working on a Legendary in WoW Classic? Or is that still a distant dream?
Since the announcement of the MMORPG based on the popular card game Magic: the Gathering, there has been little news about the game. Now there is a tiny sign of life and even a few details about the game.
What is the Magic: the Gathering MMORPG? Much is not yet known about the game. Cryptic Studios (Neverwinter, Star Trek Online) have been working on the title since summer 2017, which is not supposed to revolve around the cards of the TGC.
You will take on the role of a so-called Planeswalker, exploring interesting worlds, battling powerful creatures, and encountering the legendary beings that shape the fate of the multiverse.
Why is so little known so far? The game was announced very early, probably at the time when preparations for development were just beginning. Therefore, there was hardly any information about the game at that time.
Will it really be an MMORPG? On the website of Cryptic Studios, it is stated that we can expect a Free2Play action MMORPG. This probably means that it has active and fast-paced combat. But yes, according to the description, we are getting an MMORPG.
What’s new now? Cryptic Studios have posted several open job positions. These include content designers, character artists, UI designers, and more. A community manager is also being sought. So work is still ongoing on the MMORPG.
Small hints about the MMO
What information do the job postings reveal? The content manager position states that they must work with system and level designers to develop challenging enemies, exciting events, and epic boss fights. This means we can expect such events and bosses.
The artists will be responsible for creating beautiful levels, impressive enemies, and a captivating design. And of course, the game needs a user-friendly UI.
What exactly does this mean? Looking at the job postings, it seems that Magic: The Gathering is indeed in the middle of development. New areas and monsters, as well as events, are expected to be created. This suggests that we might have to wait a bit longer until we can finally play the MMORPG.
The fact that a community manager is now being sought might indicate that Cryptic Studios will soon reveal more about the game and perhaps have a real website with forums in the works.
Magic: The Gathering is still deep in production, but we are slowly approaching the big reveal. However, we can look forward to exciting events and epic boss fights, which is already something.
You have already finished the story in Borderlands 3? No worries! Here are some tips on what comes after the story and what content the endgame consists of.
The story in Borderlands 3 is filled with wild moments, exciting planets, and plenty of boss battles. But it also ends eventually – and now?
Just because you have completed the story or reached the max level does not mean you need to shelve Borderlands 3. There is still a lot to do on Pandora and the other planets. Our guide to the endgame of Borderlands 3 shows you the possibilities.
Have you completed the story about the Calypsos yet?
1. Play the endgame modes
These are the endgame modes: Logically, once the endgame is reached, it makes sense to first tackle the content provided by the game. For example, the Mayhem mode!
This is the Mayhem mode: After completing the story, you can activate the Mayhem mode at a terminal in Sanctuary. This mode not only introduces random elements into your game but also adds new difficulty levels.
You can choose between Mayhem levels 1 to 3. The higher the level, the tougher the enemies. Various modifications can also make your foes even more powerful or weaken your attacks. However, you will be rewarded with better loot, cash, or XP – although the loot has been slightly reduced. It is advisable to start with Mayhem 1 and then increase the difficulty. Once you activate Mayhem, the other endgame modes become harder as well.
Crazy enemies will be even crazier in Mayhem
This is the Circle of Slaughter: In the Circle of Slaughter, you can face waves of enemies in arena fights. Anyone who falls cannot be revived. You need to master five consecutive rounds. Additionally, there are extra objectives to fulfill that should particularly impress the audience. Then there are rewards – here you can repeatedly attempt difficult challenges, just like in the proving grounds.
This is the proving grounds: The proving grounds represent specific zones where you need to complete tasks set by the “Guardian.” You will receive a time limit and a goal – if these are met, there is a loot chest! By fulfilling bonus objectives, you can improve the rewards. Proving ground tasks, just like the Circle of Slaughter, can be replayed multiple times.
2. Make your character even stronger
These are the Guardian Ranks: Once you have finished the story, you can first try to get your character to max level. But even if you have achieved that, you can continue to optimize your character.
The Guardian Ranks are basically the new version of the well-known Badass Ranks from Borderlands 2. They include small and large stat improvements that you unlock by gaining XP – even if you have already reached the highest level. Additionally, there are “Guardian Rewards” at various levels. These are larger bonuses, such as increased damage in the “Fight for Your Life” mode. With the Guardian Ranks, your characters can become even stronger.
You can always improve your character
3. Start again as a “True Vault Hunter”
This is the True Vault Hunter mode: If you have had enough of the endgame modes and would rather take another look at the story, the “TVHM” may be the way to go for you. It represents the “New Game Plus” of Borderlands 3. This means you carry your skills and weapons into a new run, where the enemies are harder and the rewards are better.
Just start over – but with all weapons!
4. Change your build
This is how you can change builds: Has your character become too monotonous? No problem! Try a completely different skill build. All four characters bring three skill trees and different abilities. Changing the skills can bring about a completely new gaming experience.
You can tweak many abilities
At the fast-travel station in Sanctuary, you can not only change your appearance but also redistribute your skill points. This way, you can quickly create a new build. If you lack inspiration, you can take a look at these builds:
These are legendary weapons in Borderlands 3: Legendary weapons are the weapons with the highest rarity in Borderlands 3. They are usually extremely powerful or have some special feature. The “Firesale Long Musket,” for example, is a flamethrower inspired by the Elon Musk flamethrower.
So far, fans have found 122 legendary weapons. If you want to collect them all, you’ll likely be busy for a while – especially since many guns can only be obtained randomly. Others, however, are exclusive to certain bosses like Katagawa Ball or specific quests. So, obtaining them all is not exactly easy.
6. Find all Easter eggs
These are Easter eggs in Borderlands 3: Not only legendary weapons need to be found in Borderlands 3. The developers have hidden an incredible number of references in Borderlands 3 that you can discover. More and more Easter eggs are being discovered – like these here:
This is how you farm bosses: Once you have tackled the main story, you will have already encountered the most important bosses. Some are hidden in side quests – but you should have defeated most of them at least once.
However, this may not be the last time you face those bosses. Most bosses can be challenged multiple times. Once a boss’s questline is complete, you can return to the place of action and take on the boss again. This can be easily and repeatedly done with nearby spawn points.
This is why you should farm bosses in the endgame: Many bosses are tough to beat, but give you extremely good loot. Especially in combination with the Mayhem modes, you can significantly increase the rewards, making a repeat battle worthwhile. However, be aware that the difficulty also increases when you turn up the Mayhem level. Especially at level 3, the modifications can really cause problems.
Here are two bosses you can face again to collect loot:
These are the side quests: Borderlands is full of side activities that you can undertake. Outside the main story, there are some odd tasks to complete. The developers have ensured that the side quests in Borderlands 3 are more attractive than before – not only in terms of rewards.
The side quests often include a laugh or two. For example, on Promethea, Lorelei urgently needs a cup of coffee, which turns into a full-blown skirmish with Maliwan soldiers around a coffee cup. Entertaining!
The lady urgently needs a cup of coffee in her quest
In the Mayhem mode, the loot is also worthwhile. What you didn’t manage to collect during your first run can still be gathered later.
This also applies to the crew challenges, such as searching for scrap Claptraps or completing Zero’s objectives. So, there is still plenty to work on aside from the story.
9. Try out a new character
These are your options: If you are already tired of your character despite all the content, you can simply start a new game with a different character. The four classes are so different that the replayability of Borderlands 3 is extremely high.
Here’s what awaits you: Have you completed the story, collected all weapons, seen every joke, and leveled all characters up and down? Then all that’s left is to wait for new content. Fortunately, there will be plenty more soon!
More is coming soon!
At the end of October, the new Halloween event “Bloody Harvest” will start, including new weapons, quests, and a boss. Everything will be beautifully spooky. Additionally, there will be story DLCs and updates that will provide you with new content. In the long term, there should be no boredom in Borderlands 3!
Are you stuck somewhere? Perhaps the right element can help you:
The Fortnite player Turner “Tfue” Tenney is returning to Twitch. It will happen on October 1st. Although Tfue is number one on Twitch, he hasn’t been seen for 2 weeks. To announce his return, he jumps off a bridge.
This is the announcement: Tfue plans his return to Twitch and YouTube for October 1st. He will probably be online then, from our perspective, in the evening.
How long was he gone? Tfue started his break on Friday, September 13th. He will have been away for two and a half weeks when he starts again on Tuesday.
Back then he said he was no longer happy, even though he had achieved everything he ever wished for. But he felt trapped in a “negative spiral” and needed a break.
It is remarkable that Tfue continued to play Fortnite despite his Twitch break; he was even more successful than right before his time off. So he was able to qualify with new partners for the finals of the Trio Series – but he could achieve nothing in the final round.
This is how Tfue celebrates his return: It is a bit bizarre. Tfue jumps off a bridge. For whatever reason. However, people seem to find this very good.
“FaZe you said, they force you into dangerous stunts”
This is the bizarre part:Tfue has sued his clan FaZe. Among other things, he accused FaZe of encouraging him to perform “dangerous stunts” and drink, although he was too young.
Tfue later withdrew these specific allegations. But it is ironic that he now celebrates his return with a “dangerous stunt,” when he previously accused FaZe of wanting to raise him in this unhealthy, Californian lifestyle.
This is something some users on Twitter are now critically pointing out.
The MMO Atlas gets crossplay! What should actually be a reason for joy currently leaves the community cold. The reason for this are the many problems of the PC version.
What is Atlas? Atlas is similar to the survival MMO ARK: Survival Evolved, where you are on a pirate adventure. You acquire a ship, explore islands, fight sea monsters along the way, and battle against other monsters on land. Collecting resources and survival are important factors.
Furthermore, you build a base together with your friends and must defend it against attacks from other players. PvP is generally very important and can lead to exciting naval battles.
What did the developers announce now? In the latest episode of Inside Xbox, game designer Erik Waananen explained that Atlas will be released on Xbox One on October 8. It will be distributed through the “Xbox Game Preview” program, and you can look forward to crossplay between Microsoft’s console and Steam.
Additionally, there will be many optimizations for the game, including bug fixes, performance improvements, and more. Support for mouse and keyboard control on Xbox One has also been announced. Erik Waananen has big plans for Atlas and wants to help the game finally succeed.
Xbox One and PC play together
What does crossplay mean? Starting October 8, it will be possible for players of Atlas on PC and Xbox One to interact together in the vast game world.
Why is this important? On one hand, crossplay is generally a feature that players wish for in many games. Especially online titles can benefit from a larger number of players.
On the other hand, Atlas has seen a significant drop in player numbers since its release in December 2018. During peak times, according to Steamcharts, 58,788 players were playing simultaneously, but currently, there are only 1,427.
What is the status of Atlas? As mentioned earlier, the player numbers are not looking good. Atlas had a strong start because many were convinced by the concept and found the idea and the pirate setting interesting.
However, it quickly became clear that Atlas was released rather unfinished. Players reported many bugs and performance issues. Although it is still in an early access phase, Atlas has been on the market for nine months now, and the same problems remain. Many feel that the developers are not progressing quickly enough.
Furthermore, players are demanding more content, and some game systems – such as base attacks when players are offline – need to be revised. Everything is currently dragging on.
And yet, Atlas shows that there is a very interesting MMO within it, which cannot fully develop its potential mainly due to the technical problems. When everything works, players can have a lot of fun in the naval battles, battles against monsters, and the expansion of their base.

What do the players think about the announcement? The mood in the Atlas community is bad. A lot of bugs, poor performance, and the best thing to do is never log out, as everything you worked for may disappear.
Many from the community see the great potential of Atlas. A pirate MMO in a vast world is very interesting for many. We also took a look at the title and recognized what it has to offer. However, this potential is currently not being utilized, and there are hardly any improvements in the desired direction – despite the release of major updates.
Therefore, the announcement of crossplay does not evoke great enthusiasm.
Players wonder how Atlas will run on Xbox One when there are already performance issues on PC.
Some are angry that the developers are now focusing on an Xbox version while the PC version is still so buggy.
Others are wondering what is happening with the Playstation 4. Will Sony’s console be treated as poorly as it was for ARK?
A significant part of the community considers crossplay pointless. Many players believe it will not save Atlas.
Is it worth it for Xbox players to check out Atlas? Atlas has its problems. The game is still in the early access phase. Everyone entering on October 8 through the “Xbox Game Preview” program must be aware of this.
However, anyone who wants to participate at such an early stage and can cope with technical problems and still developing game systems can play an unpolished diamond that the developers can hopefully make shine over time. Resilience to frustration and patience are a must.
Are you still playing Atlas? What do you think of the pirate MMO and that it will now get crossplay with Xbox One? Is it worth jumping in on Xbox?
