Ion Hazzikostas mainly talked about two features. One is the large tower Torghast, the other are the covenants. Here we present the covenants and their basic features.
What are covenants? In WoW: Shadowlands, players must conclude a covenant upon reaching the maximum level. They do this with one of the four ruling powers of the known Shadowlands. These are:
Kyrian (Area: Bastion)
Night Fae (Area: Ardenweald)
Venthyr (Area: Revendreth)
Necrolords (Area: Maldraxxus)
Each of these factions rules over the respective area and has to deal with several problems, especially the lack of anima. This is basically the lifeblood of the Shadowlands and is contained in souls. Since fresh souls currently all end up in the Maw, the other areas of the Shadowlands are deteriorating.
What is there to do with the covenants? Each covenant has a variety of activities, bonuses, and rewards that can be unlocked in the endgame. These include:
A comprehensive endgame campaign related to the chosen covenant.
Two active abilities: One specific to the class, one for all members of the covenant.
A covenant sanctum that needs to be rebuilt to its former glory.
Additional perks in certain areas: For example, Necrolords in Maldraxxus can build a flesh beast that they can have as a companion.
The choice of a covenant thus significantly determines how the endgame in Shadowlands is shaped and what kind of story is experienced. It is thus worthwhile to complete different covenants with different characters to experience the whole story.
What are soulbinds? Soulbinds are a new progression system in Shadowlands that takes place in the endgame. Each covenant has some characters that the player meets. With these characters, one can enter into a “soulbind.” The deeper this bond is, the more bonuses and talents one unlocks that the connected character can teach them.
Each covenant has several potential soulbinds and these can be switched quickly – similar to talents. So if you want the bonuses of a specific soulbind for a certain challenge, you can change them at will.
It is important to note that these characters are not necessarily “bodyguards.” They do not accompany the player on the journey. A soulbind also has its effect even when the character is far away.
Can you change covenants? Yes, that should be possible. However, it will not be a trivial decision, but should come with “significant costs.” Whether this means a gold price or the fact that you lose your progress with another covenant (and cannot use its rewards anymore) is still not entirely clear. In principle, however, one should pledge oneself to a covenant and only change in extreme emergencies.
Twinks have it easier: Alternate characters do not have to reach level 60 to choose a covenant. They can do that already at level 50 upon entering the Shadowlands and thus start collecting progress during the leveling phase. For example, they can already complete world quests and have a significant advantage over the first character at level 60.

In World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, there is no new class. Instead, the existing classes will likely become significantly more versatile and receive changes.
With World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, Blizzard breaks an unwritten rule of WoW. Until now, it has been the case that a new player class was introduced with every second expansion. In Wrath of the Lich King, the Death Knight was introduced; in Mists of Pandaria, the Monk; and with Legion, the Demon Hunter. In Shadowlands, a new class was again due – but that won’t happen. At BlizzCon, the developers discussed the reasons.
More customization for existing heroes: With Shadowlands, the developers want to place a significant focus on the individualization of characters. All classic races (i.e., not the allied races) will receive numerous new customization options.
For example, there are new faces for humans, allowing players to create characters with Asian features. Draenei can adjust their tail size, dwarves and trolls can choose new skin colors and markings, or undead can decide whether their bones should be visible or completely covered with flesh and skin.
Such new customizations are said to be abundant – a rough number mentioned for the Blood Elves was “over 40 new customization options”.
No class that directly fits logically: Another reason might be that the developers haven’t found a class that stands out immediately. In Legion, choosing a new class was obvious. The Demon Hunter fit like a glove, as did the Death Knight in Wrath of the Lich King. In Shadowlands, there is no class rooted in Warcraft that would fit directly at first glance.
The Demon Hunter was logical – in Shadowlands, there is no such class.
Old classes will become more versatile: One last point might be that the existing classes in Shadowlands will all receive something new and thus become more versatile. Each class can gain one of four abilities specifically designed for that class by choosing a covenant – in addition to a general ability that all members of the covenant receive.
Can you live with the fact that Shadowlands doesn’t bring a new class and instead prefers to adjust the old classes? Or would that have been one of the core features for you?

of your Guardian in the Dreaming City. As a reward, you will receive a sugary engram.
“Not In Our House” – Fly to Sloane on Titan: The sugary engram is then given to Sloane on the Moon Titan. There you need to defeat enemies in three different areas – namely
15 enemies in the Arboretum
15 enemies in the Shattered Halls
and 30 enemies in the Solarium
The best way to do this is on patrol. If you master this task, you will receive the Void Soda.
Dancing – Now return to Eris: Once you have earned the Void Soda, return to the Moon to Eris Morn, where you hand in the soda.
Now it’s time for the final step – you need to perform a class dance. Choose the corresponding gesture and activate it when you are in front of Eris.
The emote depends on your chosen race and not your class.
Humans must activate the City Dance
Awoken must perform the Graceful Dance
and Exos perform the Robo Dance.
You can find all the emotes in the corresponding emote menu of the character screen.
Grab the toothbrush and brush your teeth: After successfully performing the dance, Eris will give you a Goody-Bag. Accept it, and among other things, you will receive a toothbrush as a reward. You will then find it in the inventory menu.
When you use the brush, it will become a used toothbrush, and you will finally receive the triumph “A Brilliant Smile”.

The new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been playable for some time now. Although most players talk about the competitive multiplayer modes, there are also discussions about the co-op mode SpecOps. However, it is not very well received.
Unlike the various traditional multiplayer modes of Modern Warfare, in SpecOps you defend an area against waves of AI opponents and secure it, for example. You pick up weapons and equipment that you find on opponents or in supply boxes.
SpecOps rewards you with experience for progress. Special rewards are also planned, but they are supposed to come later.
Fans Don’t Like SpecOps
What is the problem? The problem with the mode, according to many fans, is that it simply doesn’t feel finished. There are various issues. For example, SpecOps is
way too hard to even complete
completely bugged, so it can hardly be played properly
confusing because opponents can spawn “out of nowhere”
Enemies out of nowhere? That can easily happen.
Additionally, you can’t really play the missions alone, and there are often connection issues in the lobby. If a player leaves the round, a new host must first be found.
If you manage to win a game, the end screen says that the rewards will come “in November.” So you currently don’t even get anything out of it.
This is how players feel about it: SpecOps is not what players were “promised”. The relevant reddit thread is already titled: “Spec ops is the worst and most disappointing part of Modern Warfare.”
The multiplayer modes are apparently more popular than SpecOps.
This was the mode I was most looking forward to. I am so disappointed with how it turned out. Hopefully the developers fix the issues.
Fans are also annoyed that the rounds crash just before the end or the whole gameplay simply feels “boring” because you have to fend off endless waves of enemies without specific missions.
This is really disappointing. Yesterday I played a mission. When we completed 4/5 objectives, it crashed. This has happened twice in a row.
Only a few players are somewhat satisfied with the mode:
I played through all [missions]. It was not terrible, but definitely a bit buggy. Like, when you die for some reason right after spawning, you can’t use any ammunition. That makes it harder.
The fans are now hoping that the bugs and crashes will be fixed. The developers have at least confirmed that more missions will come in the future elsewhere.
