This means that you won’t find the Heavy Assault Rifle in chests as usual, but you can upgrade your standard Assault Rifle at the Weapon Upgrade Bench.

Bug Fixes
What bugs were fixed? With update 11.40, several bugs in the game have also been fixed, such as:

A bug was fixed where players remained in edit mode due to rapid editing.

What we know about the new map Karakin
This is what the new map looks like: Recently, there was a leak that showed the entire new Karakin map. This was confirmed in the patch notes for Update 6.1, which is currently on the test server.

Snow map Vikendi is being removed, is being revised

Wrathion, however, remains unfazed, and the two discuss N’Zoth’s impending attacks. The dragon explains that N’Zoth will not attack with armies but will instead target the minds of people. At that moment, Anduin begins to see the effects of this attack and experiences a vision of Stormwind being destroyed, consumed by the old god.

Where do WoW, Final Fantasy XIV, The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO), Black Desert Online (BDO), and Guild Wars 2 stand at the start of the new decade?

Today, we’re focusing solely on the currently top 5 MMORPGs in Germany. How did 2019 go for them, what is their general state, and what’s in store for 2020?
5. Guild Wars 2 – Still here
This is the general state: There are 2 ways to look at Guild Wars 2:
Pessimistically, one might say: In 2012, the MMORPG launched as a “big” challenger and alternative to WoW. Guild Wars 2 brought new ideas to the genre and showed that it can be done differently, focusing more on “play” and “exploration” rather than “higher, faster, further.”
Eight years later, there isn’t much of that pioneering spirit left in the genre:
Optimistically, one could say: Guild Wars 2 is still here and is doing well. It has found its player base over the years, who consciously chose this path and this style.
These are the latest financial figures for Guild Wars 2.
How did 2019 go? Thanks to the connection with NCSoft, Guild Wars 2 knows exactly what revenue they generate in a year. 2019 remained consistently at the level of a normal year “without expansion”. Guild Wars 2 is in calm waters.
They had essentially the same financial year in 2019 as in 2017 – just without the big boost from the expansion that came then.

It seems that NCSoft wants ArenaNet to develop new, different games alongside Guild Wars 2. But ArenaNet is evidently struggling to deliver these new prototypes. Hence, the workforce was reduced.

However, the future vision seems to be currently lacking. Guild Wars 2 has never been released on consoles and seems to play a rather subordinate role in NCSoft’s current plans.
Overall, at the beginning of 2020, Guild Wars 2 appears to be a game that is progressing more slowly than in its early years, while ArenaNet seeks to reorient itself and look for fresh projects to keep the company on track.

These are the problems: On the PlayStation Blog, several players report that they cannot access the statistics. They receive an error message: “PLAYSTATION 2019 statistics are only available in select locations. Additionally, you must be at least 18 years old and have over 10 hours of gameplay for 2019 before December 10.”
However, not all players who meet these requirements can view the statistics. One reason for this could be the privacy settings: Many affected report having disabled the collection of “additional data” under “Device Data.” This was a requirement this year, as Sony now also mentions on the blog. As of now, it is also not possible to activate this retroactively and obtain the statistics.

Moreover, the collection of rewards does not work equally well for all players. In some cases, the corresponding link or retrieving the code does not work. At Dreamhack Leipzig in 2020, there is a tournament in Farming Simulator. Yes, you read that right – growing potatoes as E-Sports at Germany’s largest LAN.
Are you serious? Absolutely. At Dreamhack 2020, there will be a tournament in Farming Simulator for the first time. That the Farming Simulator 19 would get its own E-Sports league was already known beforehand and had confused some people. Now the league is taking the step to Dreamhack.
The course of the Farming Simulator tournament
In the tournament, teams can qualify in the preliminary rounds. To participate, they simply register for Dreamhack – registration has been open since January 6th.
Then on Sunday, January 26th, starting at 11:00 AM, the final matches will take place. The eight best teams will compete for the title.
The teams consist of three players, and the game is played in a Best-of-3 format. Visitors to Dreamhack Leipzig can watch the tournament live. Tickets are available here.
What’s at stake: The prize pool of the tournament amounts to a hefty €12,000. This will be divided among the winning teams according to a yet unknown key. Additionally, teams earn different amounts of league points for participation and victories.

Moreover, Farming Simulator is simply a cool idea. Turning such a game into an E-Sport showcases the creativity of gamers – and could help to remove the shadow of “killer games” from E-Sports, which many still see.
Right now, a new riddle is captivating players in Destiny 2. Once again, the community is coming together and working hand in hand to solve the mysterious puzzle in the Corridors of Time. Here’s a summary of what is known so far.
The quest sends you through the Sundial, a type of time machine, where you traverse the eponymous corridors and must solve a puzzle.
What is the new riddle about? The focus is currently on solving the puzzle. Various codes are entered, which ultimately seems to piece together or reveal some sort of encrypted map.
However, the riddle is not yet solved, as the puzzle appears to continue beyond the codes.
Whether a big reward awaits at the end, possibly another exotic, is still unknown. So far, players only receive lore entries as a reward for each correct code – and an emblem.
What we know so far about the new quest “Exploration of the Corridors of Time”
This is how the puzzle works: After you have visited Osiris and grabbed the quest, the general instruction is: Explore the Corridors of Time. There are no specific instructions or hints.
You then simply activate the Sundial and are teleported into these corridors. There the riddle awaits you.
After activating the Sundial, you will spawn in the so-called starting room. Here you walk straight ahead until you reach the triangular door and then pass through this door. This leads you into a room with various symbols on small obelisks – each next to another door. Entering one of these doors brings you into another similar room, and so on.
The goal is to pass through 7 doors in specific sequences to reach the end room, the time-lost vault. You don’t need to kill any enemies. The sequence is determined by predetermined combinations of the obelisk symbols next to the doors. These are the codes, which consist of 7 characters.

If you pass a valid combination, you land in the end room and can interact at the edge of the glass surface to collect new lore.
By the way: In the center of the room, there is a kind of grave or sarcophagus on an island. If you try to reach this grave, you will be teleported (not yet?) back to the starting room. Sometimes, however, you die in the process. Just walk back to the center of the room to return to the starting room.

If you interact with the small obelisk next to the door in the starting room, the puzzle resets, and you can pass through the labyrinth in a new order to collect the next piece of lore.
This is how you enter new codes and keep running through the Corridors of Time until you have gathered all lore entries.
What symbols are there exactly? A code consists of a combination of 7 symbols, of which there are only 6 different ones, and only 5 are crucial for the code itself.
Cup: This allows you to reset an incorrect combination. Because through the door marked by this symbol, you return to where you came from.

Where do the codes actually come from? New codes appear hourly since the quest was released – and they can be accessed via the obelisks of the Sundial on the planets.
The combination can be read in the order shown in the picture and is reset every hour:
What happens next after the codes? In the lore book, there are 19 corresponding entries. Players thus assumed that there are 19 codes. This has been confirmed, all 19 codes are now known. But how the puzzle will continue beyond that – remains a mystery.
However, it is suspected that the riddle will unfold even further.
This is because on the grave in the middle of the room (which is believed to possibly be our own grave) there is a sword attached. A ghost is also visible.

Some believe that this quest could start for a new exotic sword (perhaps Darkdrinker?) or that a sword could be awarded at the end of the puzzle. Because the shape of the sword (just above the grip) resembles the exotic swords from Destiny 1.
Additionally, below the glass surface of the time-lost vault, there is a hexagonal shape with numerous symbols after interacting there and retrieving a lore entry.

Many suspect that this could be a type of map. The community is currently working hard to also illuminate and solve this further branch of the quest.
The codes for “Exploration of the Corridors of Time”
Note: If a code doesn’t work for you, player reports suggest that it helps to complete the combination in reverse, i.e., in the opposite order. Otherwise, you need to reset the whole thing through the obelisk in the starting room.

The Hack & Slash Path of Exile will continue to grow in 2020. The developers announced that 4 expansions are waiting for players – and that, even though the second part is already in the works.
This is how Path of Exile continues: The first part of the hack & slash will not stand still in 2020. In a kind of roadmap for this year, the developers have outlined what will happen next.
In 2020, another 4 expansions are planned, which will be released in the usual quarterly schedule. The mobile and console teams are also working on expanding their platforms.

Revised areas Uldum and Vale of Eternal Blossoms: Most of the action in the patch takes place in Uldum and the Vale of Eternal Blossoms.
