For those wanting to destroy enemy vehicles in Call of Duty: Warzone, there is an old trick from the competitor Battlefield that can be used. This is demonstrated by clever players.
This is what it’s about: Vehicles are ubiquitous in the Battle Royale Warzone, and many fans of the Call of Duty series are not aware of all the tricks on how to counter them.
This is the trick: On Reddit, the user “deltaforcestron” shares a video showing how he destroys an enemy vehicle. He mentions that this is actually known from Battlefield:

To do this, he equips his own vehicle with C4 and selects an enemy vehicle. He accelerates and heads straight for the opponent. Just before the collision, he jumps out of the car and detonates the C4. Both his own car and the enemy’s vehicle explode, and he gets credited with the kills.
How are other fans reacting to this? The Reddit thread has almost 5000 upvotes, and many users in the comments mention that they never thought they would see such a video in this subreddit.
As noted by WW2er: “Who would believe that I would live long enough to see that ‘only in Battlefield moments’ are more often seen in CoD than in Battlefield. Crazy times we live in.”
Why is this a Battlefield moment? Call of Duty has been relatively low in vehicles. The focus has been on close combat in smaller maps. Battlefield, on the other hand, has always had large maps and, of course, many vehicles. Such actions were commonplace there.
However, with Modern Warfare and especially with the Battle Royale Warzone, things are changing, and vehicles have found their way into Call of Duty as well. So, the old trick from Battlefield now works in Warzone too.

Only a few mods of the dino hit ARK: Survival Evolved are officially included by Wildcard. One of them is the popular map Valguero. We asked creator Nekatus what he is currently working on and how the collaboration with Wildcard went back then.
In a conversation with Nils M. – better known in the ARK mod community as Nekatus – we talked about his latest project Fjördur and how the collaboration with Wildcard regarding the popular Valguero map went.
The Lord of the Rings meets Vikings – New Map Fjördur Introduced
The Valguero map has been officially available for all ARK players on PC and consoles since June 18, 2019. Modder Nekatus (via Twitter) is therefore directly working on his latest project: the mod map Fjördur.
This is Fjördur: Together with modder Trappel, they have been working on the new map for about 8 months, inspired by Norse mythology. But also major well-known works have their influence. Especially the “The Lord of the Rings” movies and the Vikings series contribute significantly to the style. Here, Vikings meet fantasy.
A part of the dwarven realm strongly resembles The Lord of the Rings
The map will be huge and will have cool inhabitants
Fjördur is supposed to be larger than Valguero. How large exactly, Nekatus cannot say yet. However, the map offers several worlds like Yggdrasil and Helheim, which can only be reached through a teleport function. Just the surface, consisting of various islands and a lot of ocean, is supposed to be about the size of The Island.
So far, 8 biomes are planned:
Coniferous Forest
Highlands
Rugged Biome
Autumn Biome
Snow Biome
Ice Hell (Helheim)
Jungle/Coniferous Forest (Yggdrasil)
The 8th biome is currently a secret
Important: Fjördur is still in progress, and planned features or biomes may change completely.
The modders place a lot of importance on a good setting. For example, no exaggerated creatures are supposed to inhabit the land, as they would disturb PVP. You certainly won’t find a space whale in Fjördur. Instead, additional animals from Norse mythology will be implemented into the map.
The creatures are supposed to remain rather grounded, the map is more for roleplay and PVE.
Nekatus
Modder Garuga, who created the ARK Additions Mod (via Steam Workshop), will create 3 to 4 exclusive creatures for Fjördur. One of them is the Fenris Wolf, “he is in Norse mythology the first child of the god Loki and the giantess Angrboda before Hel and the Midgard Serpent.”
Additionally, all known bosses except for the King Titan are planned to be added. They are supposed to have their normal arenas, but also completely unique areas where you can even build. The bosses won’t roam around wildly there, but they can be summoned in that area.
The other features are:
The orbital drops known from Extinction
A new teleport function at the obelisks
Underwater shipwrecks as deep sea drops
Planned underwater orbital drops
Many caves
Volcanic eruptions & avalanches
New weather effects like snowstorms & Northern Lights
New skins for armor and weapons
The first map with ambient music that can be turned off via config
New skins give ARK a Viking feeling
Fjördur will be released in summer 2020
The modders have entered into a partnership with the server provider GPortal, which financially sponsors the map. Fjördur is the first official GPortal map but can be used by any PC player.
This sponsorship mainly allows Nekatus to invest more time in Fjördur. He spends about 20 hours per week in the Unreal Editor and completes the map step by step.
The full release is planned for July 2020. A first version (Via Steam Workshop) is already playable now, and the next major content update is also not far away. On Twitch, the modder streams his progress daily and shows his viewers how the Unreal Editor works.
Is Fjördur officially entering the Wildcard program?
The first map Valguero was officially included in the game by ARK developer Wildcard, allowing console players to access the world. However, this will not happen with Fjördur.
Together with modders Buttman, Trappel, and Evolanca, Nekatus completed Valguero within 8 months full-time with the support of Wildcard. However, many plans had to be discarded as consoles do not support too large maps. Valguero was originally supposed to have double the area and include more cool biomes.
Valguero was also inspired by The Lord of the Rings
Nevertheless, the collaboration with Wildcard went very well:
The work went very well; it was a lot of fun working with the people from Wildcard. It was by no means the case that we were kept on a leash.
Nekatus
Here are the plans for Fjördur: Nekatus would likely want to work with Wildcard again, but only with a foreign map. Fjördur will not be officially included as the map is supposed to be made according to the modders’ ideas without having to pay attention to restrictions.
Fjördur is expected to be released in July 2020 for PC. Mods for PS4 and Xbox One are not available outside of the official Wildcard program. Console players will therefore have to forgo Fjördur.
We at MeinMMO wanted to know from you how Destiny 2 should handle the unique Exotics in the future. Our survey shows that this topic is very controversial among you.
About this survey: The powerful Exotics enjoy cult status and every season brings new specimens. In the current Season 10, you can earn a total of 150 exotic weapons and armors – thus, Destiny 2 matches up with the original Pokémon.
Some readers go even further, saying that the current number of Exotics is sufficient for them. They would prefer other content:
I don’t need any more Exotics at all. I prefer more other content like a new strike or something. I have enough weapons and usually find Exotics boring.
If you combine both options, the desire for returning Exotics takes the 2nd place in the voting with 25 %.
Between Nostalgia and the Desire for Power
This is what you say in the comments: Under our survey, you diligently exchanged thoughts in the comments about the situation of the Exotics. It comes to light that there is not one or right way in which Destiny should handle this topic in the future.
Some of you wish for powerful, unique, or dominant Exotics. This is echoed by reader Andreas Straub, when he writes: “We need ‘stand-out nails’ again – as Bungie has nicely put it. Weapons that are something special.”
Thorn, The Last Word, and Hawkmoon – The triumvirate of hand cannons from Destiny 1
Others among you wish for the powerful Exotics of days gone by to return. Especially Titans mourn their Dawnbreak Guard. Some Guardians admit, however, that while they miss the once-great pieces, they should remain in the good memories of Destiny 1:
I miss many Exotics from D1 Hawkmoon, Fatebringer, Atheon, … but I am absolutely against them coming back. Because D2 will simply devalue them, and most will end up in the vault, and I want to keep them in their old state in memory.
Some readers go even further, saying that the current number of Exotics is sufficient for them. They would prefer other content:
I don’t need any more Exotics at all. I prefer more other content like a new strike or something. I have enough weapons and usually find Exotics boring.
Twitch has temporarily banned streamer Emma “Swebliss” Bliss (33). An outfit was apparently against the rules of the streaming platform. The streamer cannot understand this. She accuses Twitch of being sexist. If she had smaller breasts, she would not have been banned.
What outfit is it about? The streamer (212,225 followers) shares a picture on Twitter of an outfit for which she was temporarily banned from Twitch. It shows a sheer black top, underneath which a bra is visible.
The streamer Swebliss says she was banned from Twitch for this outfit.
The streamer shows current pictures from fashion stores like H&M, ZARA, ASOS, or Gina Tricot. In these pictures, models are dressed in similar outfits. The bras of the women are also visible, wearing a sheer top over them.
Normal and nice outfits for modern women in 2020
This is the streamer’s argument: The streamer believes these are “normal and nice outfits” for a modern woman in 2020. Twitch would not have a problem with this outfit in general.
Swebliss thinks women could stream in such an outfit as long as they do not have large breasts. The streamer therefore feels treated unequally and discriminated against.

She says: “If a woman with smaller breasts had worn the same outfit, would she have been banned? No.”
Streamer says: I am losing trust in Twitch
Swebliss says she has been streaming for 6 years, is passionate about art and fashion. She has always adhered to the rules. She is 33 years old, has never done anything sexual, no nude photos or similar, and even tapes her clothes to prevent any “accidents”.
Last year she was on air for 7 hours every day. Just as she reached 1000 viewers, something like this happens to her. Meanwhile, Swebliss is just being herself – she dresses for no one else. She was banned from Twitch for who she is.
Her apparent crime is wearing clothes from H&M that she wears every day. She has lost her trust in Twitch. Twitch said it wants to “grow into other types of streaming” in 2020, but fashion apparently is not one of those fields.
This is what’s behind it: Clothing rules and temporary bans for violations of them are a persistent problem on Twitch. There are streamers like Alinity Divine or Amouranth, who present themselves extremely sexy, and who frequently cause controversies. They encounter little or no consequences.
The handling of Twitch with streamer Alinity is criticized. It is too lenient.
On the other hand, female streamers come into conflict with Twitch’s rules even though they dress as they would in everyday life. This leads to a climate where no one is really satisfied. The CEO of Twitch said that they always consider the context of the situation when it comes to bans. But Twitch continues to be accused of measuring with two different scales:
A streamer was recently banned for a “sheer top” even though she had taken all precautions not to offend. She even demanded of Twitch to be more like Mixer, wishing for clear clothing rules.

Whether you want to boost or improve PC performance, or if you’re simply looking for tips for building your own PC: These 5 things for under 20 euros are worth it for any computer.
What are we introducing to you? You can often improve performance without having to buy a new graphics card or processor right away.
With these small things, you can still extract a lot of performance from your PC or at least increase the lifespan of individual components in the long term. This saves real money.
In this article, you will learn that improvements don’t have to be expensive to get a bit more performance from a PC.
[toc]
Up to 5 Euros: Dust Filters
Who is a dust filter suitable for? Those who want to avoid regular cleaning of their PCs can take simple measures to minimize the effort. One of these measures is, for example, a dust filter.
What a dust filter brings: The PC needs a consistent airflow to cool effectively. The openings in the case serve this purpose. However, dust also enters the PC through these openings. The dust filter prevents dust from entering through the case openings or at least minimizes it. Instead of having to clean the PC regularly, it is usually sufficient to replace or clean the filter.

Up to 10 Euros: Compressed Air Spray
Who is compressed air spray suitable for? Dust is a problem for all kinds of PCs, as dust tends to settle in the fins of the processor or graphics card. This prevents the ventilation of the components from working efficiently. If you want to restore full cooling performance, you should get a graphics card holder. This provides security for the graphics card in the case.
What a compressed air spray brings: Inside a PC, there are many very delicate components that must be handled very carefully. We advise against using a coarse vacuum cleaner and recommend a compressed air cleaner. This only costs a few euros but precisely sweeps dust and dirt from the fins and other areas of the PC. This minimizes the risk of damaging sensitive components.
You can also use the compressed air spray on consoles and laptops to blow dirt out of the keyboard or ventilation.

Up to 10 Euros: Graphics Card Holder
Who is a graphics card holder suitable for? Those who want to provide stability and support for their graphics card and thereby increase the lifespan of the graphics card should consider getting one.
What a graphics card holder brings: Graphics card holders stabilize the graphics cards and keep them in place within the case. If they are not firmly seated in the case, there is a risk that the card will “sag”: This puts stress on the PCI Express connector in which the card normally sits, and in the worst case, either the connector on the card breaks or the connection on the motherboard gets damaged. The metal holders absorb the weight of the graphics card and relieve the connectors to a minimum.
Oops, unfortunately this affiliate widget is no longer available.
Up to 10 Euros: Thermal Paste
Who is thermal paste suitable for? If you find that the graphics card or processor quickly becomes hot, it might be worth considering replacing the thermal paste.
What thermal paste brings: Thermal paste is used to transfer the device’s heat through the fins to the cooler. With consistent heat, thermal paste dries out over time. As a general rule, it is advisable to renew thermal paste every three years with heavy use. It is therefore recommended to renew the thermal paste in cases of disproportionately high heat development.
By the way, when it comes to thermal paste, the rule always applies: less is usually more, too much paste can impair performance just as much.

Up to 20 Euros: Cable Management
Who is cable management suitable for? Order is half of life: If chaos behind the PC or at the workplace bothers you, cable management can provide relief. It costs hardly anything and organizes the desk in the long term.
What cable management brings: Cable management in the form of a cable sleeve serves to ensure that cables find their way orderly over the desk or through the PC. Cables no longer become a tripping hazard or, in the worst-case scenario, get caught in moving parts of the PC. Although a sensible cable management does not increase performance, it still helps to keep track during repairs or while cleaning up.

Additional tips for building your own PC: Besides suitable components, it also takes the right knowledge to avoid mistakes elsewhere:
Dive completely into the game and control the experience with your brain like in Sword Art Online or The Matrix? Steam CEO Gabe Newell believes we are already close to a “computer-brain” interface.
For many gamers and anime fans, it’s a long-held desire. The ability to immerse oneself completely in a game and control it with thought sounds like a distant science fiction. But Steam CEO Gabe Newell sees it differently.
He believes we are much closer to such a scenario than people think.
Who is speaking? Gabe Newell is one of the co-founders of Steam (Valve) and is undoubtedly one of the most powerful and influential men in the gaming business. After all, millions of players worldwide use his service to play games or download new titles every day. Steam is a small empire, and accordingly, what Newell says carries weight.
“We are much closer to the Matrix than people realize”
What did he say? In an interview with IGN, Newell spoke about how close we are with technology to science fiction movies like The Matrix. He said:
We are much closer to the Matrix than people realize. But it won’t be “The Matrix”. “The Matrix” is a movie and lacks all the interesting, technical intricacies and how strange a world with a brain-computer interface will be. This will have a huge impact on the kind of experiences we can create for people.
Moreover, Newell believes that the gaming industry is on the brink of a major upheaval. VR will be taken to a whole new level. For existing forms of entertainment, it could be an “extinction event” – those who miss the technological step will quickly become irrelevant.
Brain-game interface makes Sword Art Online possible
How does it work in Sword Art Online? In the popular anime “Sword Art Online” (one of our best series about MMOs), players not only dive into the game worlds via a VR headset but also with their entire consciousness.
The hardware connects directly with the brain and thus projects the game action directly into the players’ minds. The game is then also controlled through thoughts, which are read by the hardware. It’s as if you are experiencing the game live.
In the anime, this takes a rather dark turn, as players are held captive in the world against their will – but we are likely still some distance away from that in reality.
What do you think, what timeframe is the Steam CEO referring to here? Will we see such technology already in this decade? Or does it still need significantly longer?
Gabe Newell also recently spoke about some other exciting topics related to Steam – and their competition:
A WoW streamer has had enough and told his viewers what he thinks. If they don’t want to pay, Twitch streamer Mcconnel doesn’t care about their wishes.
Life as a Twitch streamer isn’t always easy either. Especially when part of the audience wants to see something completely different than what the Twitch streamer actually wants to play.
This happened to McconnellRet, a player of World of Warcraft, a few days ago. The conflict led him to speak disparagingly about his viewers. He said he would only engage with their criticism and suggestions if they are willing to pay for the stream.
Who is he anyway? McconnellRet is one of the larger WoW streamers on Twitch with nearly 175,000 followers. That’s quite an impressive number, so he has a large reach.
Viewers want WoW Classic – Streamer wants Modern WoW
Criticism only wanted from paying viewers: In the Twitch stream on March 20, WoW streamer McconnellRet had a bit of a conflict with his viewers. The discussion came up that he should prefer to play and stream WoW: Classic instead of the modern WoW.
The streamer elaborated at length why he prefers the playstyle of his Retribution Paladin in Retail, but the discussion continued. In the end, McconnellRet lost a bit of composure, as can be heard in this Twitch clip:

What exactly did he say? McconnellRet believes that he doesn’t have to listen to viewers who do not donate or are not subscribed. He said:
I don’t give a damn about what my viewers want me to do. My viewers don’t give me money. Maybe if you gave me money, I would care more – but you don’t give me money. Give me money and your opinion interests me, how does that sound? (…) Otherwise, you can go to hell.
However, one should view these words with a bit of humor, as he seems to have not taken them entirely seriously.
As is often the case on the internet, when people express their own opinions, McconnellRet received a lot of criticism for it.
Classic or Retail? This streamer has a clear opinion.
Should ‘free’ viewers have a say? But even if McconnellRet’s statement was apparently not meant entirely seriously, it raises an interesting topic:
Should Twitch streamers even listen to their viewers strongly and play what the non-paying viewers want to see?
Or should a Twitch streamer only play what they themselves want and discuss that mainly with their paying viewers?
It is clearly understandable that the ‘paying viewers’ are the ones who financially support the streamer – so it would be good to particularly please these viewers.
The struggling chain GameStop wanted to remain open in the USA despite the novel coronavirus. They considered themselves essential. Employees were to hand out a flyer to officials if they wanted to close a store. However, one state issued a mandatory shutdown. Now the chain is closing nationwide.
This was the situation in the USA: Due to the coronavirus crisis, there is a “lockdown” in parts of the USA. Cities and entire states have ordered that “non-essential” businesses must close.
The gaming chain GameStop has fought against a closure, as reported by various US sites:
They kept the stores open
gave employees a flyer to hand to officials trying to close the stores – officials were to contact company management
in addition, GameStop published a list of restrictions under which they wanted to remain open, such as reduced opening hours and increased distancing in the stores

GameStop wanted to stay open – with some restrictions due to corona.
GameStop is essential, not just gaming
This is how GameStop justified its stance: In a statement to Vice, it was said that while GameStop is known as a “video game” chain, it is more than that.
GameStop offers numerous services and equipment that are “essential”, such as:
working from home
establishing virtual connections
learning from home
Therefore, GameStop is “essential” and does not need to close.
GameStop acknowledged that there are certainly other businesses that are more important than themselves, but emphasized that they could have a positive impact during this very difficult time.

Such nasty reactions were provoked by the announcement.
This was the reaction: There was strong criticism on social media regarding GameStop’s decision to keep the stores open.

GameStop’s behavior was criticized as “irresponsible”.

After the new development, GameStop stores would be forcibly closed by Monday afternoon under the threat of fines.
However, GameStop got ahead of this. They announced on Saturday that they would close all stores in the USA after all. Apparently, the public pressure was too high.
GameStop now wants to focus on digital business. All employees could stay home if they did not feel well (via news.gamestop).
This is what lies behind it: GameStop is under significant economic pressure according to numerous reports. The shift in gaming to digital downloads has hit the chain hard.
Therefore, GameStop’s decision to keep the stores open had a strange undertone from the beginning. Players got the impression that the chain was risking the health of employees for profit.

In Destiny 2, even the PvP pros are struggling to complete the hard Trials. The reason is a shotgun. We’ll tell you what makes the weapon so special, how to get the new best shotgun, and provide tips for the God Roll.
Why don’t the experts want to win? The ultimate goal in the Trials of Osiris is to achieve 7 victories without a loss. This is called “flawless” in the Destiny universe. However, this week (March 20-24), PvP experts like CammyCakes say: “Don’t go flawless.”
The reason behind this is a shotgun. It is available as a reward in the Trials, but not upon reaching the mythical lighthouse after 7 wins, but much earlier for all Guardians after 3 wins.
This is what players do for the new weapon: After a Flawless run, it becomes significantly harder to obtain the weapon dubbed the “new best shotgun.” Therefore, players are flocking to the lower ranks of the Trials, much to the dismay of weaker players.
Players reset their tickets and farm in the first 3 rounds of the Trials for the new weapon. In this article, we take a closer look at the latest champion in the shotgun arena.
All information about the new best PvP shotgun in Destiny 2
This is the weapon in question: The shotgun currently being praised by PvP pros is named “Astral Horizon” (eng. Astral Horizon). It is used in the kinetic slot and belongs to the aggressive representatives of its kind. Besides the strong stats, the unique rolls are particularly convincing.
How to get the Trials shotgun: The shotgun Astral Horizon is part of the loot pool of Trials of Osiris. Each week you receive a reward in the Trials upon achieving your first 3, 5, and 7 victories, as well as for a flawless completion on your trial ticket.
This week, you receive the Trials shotgun after just 3 wins. Once you meet this criterion, you can obtain the weapon from Saint-14 through rank-ups. In exchange for 20 trial tokens, you receive a random reward from all the Trials gear you have earned. The smaller your loot pool, the greater the chance for the coveted shotgun.
The required trial tokens can be obtained through:
Bounties (weekly, daily, and repeatable)
As a reward for match completions (for wins and losses)
Give your trial tokens to Saint-14 and hope for the Trials shotgun
Look out for this roll: Currently recommended as a God Roll, which is the best possible combination of attributes:
Barrel: Full Choke or Rifled Barrel
Magazine: Tactical Mag
Perk 1: Sure Shot
Perk 2: Opening Shot
Masterwork: Handling or Range
What makes the weapon so special? The fact that the Astral Horizon can come with arguably the best perk for aggressive shotguns (Sure Shot) is unique among kinetic shotguns. This allows the weapon to be drawn or switched very quickly in a duel.
In addition, the combination with “Opening Shot,” which can’t be found on any other similar shotgun, significantly increases the range and precision for deadly shots. The Trials shotgun outperforms the previously strongest PvP shotgun (Mindbender) by an average of 0.5-1 meter.
Is it worth farming this shotgun this weekend? Absolutely! It will be the next king of shotguns in the Crucible.
Also worth noting is the belonging to the kinetic slot. This means that Guardians have access to many powerful primary weapons in the special slot. This includes the currently most dominant weapon in PvP: Hard Light.
Even if you don’t get the recommended God Roll, Astral Horizon offers you many strong perks. Among them are well-known talents like “Slide Shot“, but also quite extraordinary options. This includes “Elemental Capacitor“, which significantly increases handling when using an Arc class.
The Warlock on the left is using the new PvP monster Astral Horizon
Have you secured a good roll of the new best shotgun? What do you think about shotguns in PvP? Let us know in the comments.
The Corona crisis has a significant impact on Pokémon GO. People are advised not to go outside, leading to a shortage of Poké Balls. One trainer has three solutions for this problem.
This is the situation: In many parts of the world, there is a strict curfew due to the coronavirus. In Germany, we are at least urged to stay at home.
Niantic has consequently made it easier to play from home, but those who don’t have a PokéStop at home quickly suffer from a shortage of Poké Balls. That is precisely why there is currently a lot of discussion on the topic. Trainers wish Niantic would finally respond and make adjustments.
If you want to catch many Pokémon, you are probably suffering from a shortage of Poké Balls
3 suggestions to prevent the Poké Ball shortage
A trainer says: On reddit , a player speaks up, who is also affected by the Poké Ball shortage. He mentions that everywhere one hears about the shortage and that Niantic even provokes it by bringing more Pokémon in smoke or making you catch 125 Pokémon in special research.
For user Cozmonic032, it is a significant problem because one cannot play very well from home. Hence, he comes up with three suggestions on how to get balls more easily from home without going outside:
The basic reward in the PvP League should be 15 Poké Balls instead of 600 Stardust. This way, you can earn 15 balls seven times a day.
Gifts should contain more Poké Balls, like during the times when gifts were first introduced. Back then, there were significantly more items in the gifts.
Buddy Pokémon should not bring berries as gifts, but rather Poké Balls. These are more useful, and berries are discarded anyway when not sitting in a gym.
Poké Balls through the PvP League – A plausible suggestion
Are such suggestions sensible? Indeed, one could combat the Poké Ball problem this way. Moreover, Niantic would guide players more towards their new features, i.e. the PvP League and the Buddy feature.
Additionally, Niantic does not simply give away the balls; rather, the trainer must contribute something for it.
If one could receive about 150 balls per day through such means, playing from home would be significantly easier.
How do other trainers react? The Poké Ball shortage is a major topic for almost every player. Many trainers do not understand why Niantic has not yet responded to this problem.
Other trainers even accuse Niantic of greed. User llhell writes: “I don’t know how to bring you the bad news, but Niantic didn’t make these steps to be ‘friendly’ to the players. They did it to make money. They don’t want you to play from home; they want you to spend money from home.”
Keep in mind that there is currently a risk of infection with the coronavirus for yourself and others. The Federal Center for Health Education recommends staying at home as much as possible, keeping your distance from others, and avoiding gatherings. Niantic has implemented various measures so that you can play Pokémon GO from home .

Such an adjustment sounds plausible, as more and more players wish for such private matches. Just take a look at the Warzone Subreddit. There are always threads asking for something like this.
How credible is the leak? Of course, one must always view such information with a bit of skepticism. They are just leaks and not official information from Infinity Ward.
Nonetheless, the news is not unlikely. After all, competitors like Fortnite already have Duos and Squads. It seems logical for Warzone to follow suit.
When could the leak be implemented? New features for Warzone have typically been released on Tuesdays. Last Tuesday, for example, a solo mode without disadvantages was introduced. If Infinity Ward remains consistent with this approach, then at least part of the features could appear next Tuesday.
Journalist and industry insider Jason Schreier has revealed in a podcast what game developers have told him about the new console PlayStation 5 (PS5). It is said to be better than it looks on paper, but Sony seems to be undervaluing it at the moment.
Who is speaking? Jason Schreier is an investigative reporter for the US site Kotaku. He is known for his reliable leaks and insider information. He has written high-profile exposés on the creation of AAA games like Anthem (Electronic Arts), Diablo 4 (Blizzard), or Destiny (Bungie), which suggest that dissatisfied developers have spoken frankly with him about what has been going on behind closed doors.
Many of his “insider information” has proven to be true: He even predicted back in January that Horizon Zero Dawn would be released for PC.
This is the current situation: In recent days, Sony and Microsoft have revealed the specifications of their next-gen consoles PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. According to the raw numbers, the Xbox Series X is stronger than the PS5, especially in terms of CPU and graphics performance.
Schreier talks in a podcast about what gaming studios have confided in him about the two consoles.
PS5 and Xbox Series X are both extremely powerful
This is what Schreier says about the strength of the PS5:
Everyone is currently looking at the performance sheets with the specifications and seeing the PS5 with 10.2 TFLOPS and the Xbox Series X with 12 TFLOPS, but the people I’ve talked to in the last months and years, who are actually working with the PS5, basically all say: “This thing is a beast, it is one of the coolest pieces of hardware we’ve ever seen or used. There are so many things about it that are revolutionary.”
There’s a general consensus that both devices [the new consoles] are extremely powerful and that they both resemble each other in many ways, but they each do different things in really cool ways. Both are extremely impressive pieces of technology.
Jason Schreier
The lead architect of the PS5, Mark Cerny: Since his talk, there have been many discussions.
Sony has poorly presented the PS5
This is the mistake Sony made:
However, due to the way Sony has presented their thing, there is now the perception that the Xbox Series X is much stronger than the PS5. And I think that this is a huge mistake on Sony’s part for this console generation. Maybe this will be forgotten when the PS5 is cheaper at release or launches with a lineup of killer apps, but right now: Sony has just squandered the advantage after so many years of smart decisions.
What I hear from people who are actually working on the things, who are working with the hardware, is that the Xbox Series X isn’t significantly stronger than the PS5, despite the teraflop numbers.
According to Schreier, the SSD is the critical advantage of the PS5 in the eyes of developers.
Discussion does not reflect developers’ perception
This is what Schreier says about the current perception:
Sony has squandered the advantage, and it’s going to be like this for weeks and weeks, maybe even months, especially because Corona is disrupting everything: Now people will only talk about how the Xbox Series X is the most powerful console and the PS5 falls short in every way. But in the meantime, I get texts and messages, even today, from developers telling me: “The PS5 is superior in all these other ways – it’s such a shame they can’t get this message across or talk about it properly.”
I’ve heard from at least three different people in the last hours, since the Cerny talk, who tell me: “The PS5 is actually the superior piece of hardware in a whole lot of ways, no matter what the numbers say.”
Schreier criticizes the way Sony presented the PS5.
In the discussion at Kotaku, it becomes clear that Schreier’s information reflects the current state of affairs. Players have had time due to the Corona crisis to discuss the specifications extensively, but the companies still have plenty of time to influence the perception of their consoles.
We at MeinMMO wanted to find out together with you which are the most popular weapons in Fortnite. The results show that your favorite weapon is the one that professionals hate the most.
But you also like the new mythical version: Skye’s Scar Assault Rifle. However, this can only be found with the mini-boss Skye and there is only one of it in a match.
The advantage of the shotgun is that you can fire 8 shots in quick succession, which sets it apart from the pump shotgun. Although it deals less damage, you can counter faster if you miss your shot.
The shotgun is your favorite close combat weapon and you would probably trade it for a pump shotgun.
But you seem to enjoy playing with this weapon and have therefore voted for it diligently. 15% of you prefer to play with a heavy sniper rifle.
The heavy sniper rifle
These weapons you only take when there is no alternative
The following 9 weapons performed quite poorly and were only chosen by a few. Whether it’s because they are bad and have their disadvantages or because you know better alternatives. These weapons are only taken when there is no better choice:
Heavy Assault Rifle: 2%
Minigun: 2%
Rocket Launcher: 2%
Meowscles Heavy Assault Rifle: 2%
Submachine Gun: 2%
Suppressed Submachine Gun: 1%
“Rapid-Fire” SMG: 1%
Pistol: 1%
Suppressed Pistol: 1%
Are you surprised by these results or did you vote for exactly these weapons? We definitely would not have expected the first place.
By the way, these are the most popular weapons when it gets serious:
The MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) offers you many opportunities to succeed as a group. However, it also places a strong emphasis on solo play. In this guide, we want to give you some tips on how to tackle dungeons solo and which ones you can start with.
What makes ESO so good for solo players? ESO is, as the name suggests, part of the Elder Scrolls series. These games, with well-known titles like Skyrim or Oblivion, were typically designed for solo players.
In ESO, you have a completely open and vast game world without level limits. Every character is scaled to the maximum level, and only the skill points and equipment distinguish them. With each expansion, a new area of Tamriel is introduced, along with another story that you can explore solo or in a group.
This gigantic “Online-Skyrim” means that solo players will never get bored. There are masses of content to discover that you don’t need a group for. Hardly anything stands in the way of your exploration, and exploring has always been a hallmark of the TES games.
One of the few contents that seems to hinder your solo experience is dungeons. Although there are public dungeons that can be easily played alone, the instanced dungeons are actually designed for groups. However, you can also tackle them solo.
What are the advantages of solo rounds?
You are not reliant on others and can just start
There are no issues with the group finder
You can set the pace
Therefore, you can calmly gather all lore books or check out other things
This is not to say that a dungeon is not fun when played in a group. For my part, I prefer to play together with my guildies. But for all players who would like to try solo, we have some tips ready.
We also want to suggest dungeons for you to start with. Almost all dungeons can be done solo, but we have a few recommendations for which ones you could start with and what you need for them.
A coherent setup makes your life easier
Because of the scaling to the maximum level in ESO, your character always adapts. You cannot just overlevel and run through. Therefore, you need a setup tailored to your character with set bonuses, enchantments, and buff food.
Which character should you choose? The class you use is not necessarily decisive. Despite all scaling, a Level 50 character is highly recommended. With him, you have your necessary skill points, also the experience, and equipment.
You should mainly start with the character you can play best. When you run through a dungeon alone, you don’t have time to think extensively about your hero’s playstyle. You have to replace several group members after all.
What weapons are recommended? Depending on your character choice, different weapons are sensible. However, you should have sufficient area damage ready. Therefore, weapons like the destruction staff or a combination of sword and shield with a bow are a good option.
Which set bonuses should you have? It greatly helps you if you have certain gear ready for solo play. One or more suitable sets make your life easier. In ESO, there are dizzyingly many sets. Some are easier to reach than others. Here are some set bonuses you can easily obtain:
You should strengthen your primary resource and maximize critical hits. For example, you can do this with “Mother’s Tears” for magic classes or “Hunding’s Rage” for stamina.
Additionally, bonuses that replenish or save resources are recommended. This can be achieved with “Magnus’ Gift” for magic classes and with “Siphoning Revenge”.
Skills that grant you a shield are always helpful. With “Iceheart”, you get one when you land a critical hit.
A set of Hunding’s Rage provides you with critical weapon hits and stamina – optimal for stamina DPS.
You should also have good self-healing. After all, you are tank, DPS, and healer at once on your solo mission. If you lack self-healing, there are tricks against it:
Set bonuses like “Thornheart” grant you healing for critical hits.
In the PvP area Cyrodiil, you can unlock the skill “Momentum”, which provides you healing.
What enchantments are useful? You should also enchant your equipment if possible. For your armor, improvements to your primary resource are recommended, for example, “Glyph of Magicka”. You can enchant your jewelry with increased magic or weapon damage.
Which buff food should you use? In ESO, you also have a large selection of food. In solo play, improvements to magicka, stamina, and health support you. A readily available buff food for this is the “Longfin Pasty with Melon Sauce” (via Wiki).
Start the solo career relaxed
If you are attempting a dungeon solo for the first time, the base game dungeons are recommended. These are often available at level I and II and always in veteran mode. You should start with the first level to assess your capabilities.
It’s very important that you don’t get frustrated. It’s completely normal to die sometimes. Especially against some bosses, this fate will quickly befall you. If you make it through without dying, that’s even better.
Go in, see how far you get and you’ll quickly notice which abilities or skills you are missing. This way, you can gradually create a solo character and then tackle more difficult dungeons.
These are good dungeons for starting:
Mushroom Cave I
The Mushroom Cave can be one of the first dungeons you encounter. At the same time, it is the easiest. You will encounter cool goblins here and should have little trouble getting through solo.
Spindle Depths I
The Spindle Depths are also a very easy dungeon. However, you should not be afraid of spiders, as they are abundant here.
Canalization of Wayrest I
Also a very easy dungeon. There are hardly any special mechanics to consider here.
What’s the deal with level-II dungeons? If you feel more confident, you can try the level II dungeons. These continue the story from level I. The enemies there have more health, deal more damage, and there are a few additional mechanics.
It gets a bit more challenging, but also more rewarding gear-wise, in veteran mode. However, it is advisable to first attempt this in a group and only try solo later. If you want another solo challenge, you can take on world bosses, which are sometimes tougher than a vanilla dungeon on normal.
Which dungeons have you soloed or do you have tips for beginners? Let us know in the comments!
The popular shooter Fortnite: Battle Royale has reinvented itself this week with a limited-time mode. In the “Game of Spies,” players can earn advantages that extend beyond the current match for the first time. Update 12.20 has turned out to be surprisingly strong: players can permanently save cosmetic combinations.
This is special in Fortnite: Fortnite began experimenting with the “Battle Royale” mode early on: this is the mode that turned Fortnite into a global phenomenon starting in September 2017. Fortnite has repeatedly introduced limited-time modes that have varied the core concept of “Battle Royale” to varying degrees:
some modes brought only slight changes, such as limiting weapon choices
other modes were bolder and turned the game mechanics upside down
In normal Battle Royale, each player has only one life, and the last one standing wins. Although the concept is extremely popular, it has become somewhat stale after more than 2 years.
The current mode in the “Game of Spies” is perhaps the biggest deviation from the familiar format in some time. For the first time, players can earn specific advantages that extend beyond the current match.
Players level up and unlock new abilities
This is how the new idea works: In the “Game of Spies,” players choose one of two development trees, either Shadow or Ghost. The conflict between these two organizations has shaped Season 2 of Fortnite so far.
This is the tech tree where players progress.
In the tech trees, players have a rank. The higher they progress through playing the limited-time mode, the more bonuses and items become available to them.
At the start, players only have the option to choose between a few simple starter perks:
There are green weapons (shotguns, assault rifles, submachine guns) or a blue proximity mine
combined with a skill enhancement – such as “regenerate health while swimming” or a faster crawling speed
The current limited-time mode in Fortnite.
However, after completing several matches, players gradually gain access to stronger weapons and abilities. Starting from rank 3 in Ghost, players can choose a perk that gradually fills shields – a significant advantage.
Later, fancy perks and items like a jetpack or double jump are added to the pool.
Players who actively play the mode will quickly build a selection of perks that significantly enhance their strength compared to a new spy.
This is a novelty: Normally, Fortnite is characterized by all players starting a match equally. This remains the case in “normal” Fortnite: Battle Royale – only in the limited-time mode do the new rules apply.

New mode is a significant change to Fortnite Battle Royale
This is how matches currently unfold: Right now, a fast-paced 16vs16 mode is active in the “Game of Spies.” Here, 2 teams shoot each other while trying to get tech and survive the storm.
If a team reaches a new tech level through kills or by looting safes, players receive a new weapon and a new advantage to choose from their permanent perks upon the next respawn.
In the middle of the match, players can choose from their pool of unlocked bonuses.
Fortnite finally picks up speed in Season 2
This is the bigger picture: Regardless, Fortnite is currently making some interesting progress, even without large patch notes or much fanfare:
Players can now permanently save cosmetic outfits.
With Season 2, strong PvE elements also came to Fortnite. Minions and bosses now populate 5 spots on the island. Those who clear them at the start of a match can secure powerful mythical weapons and gain an advantage over other players. However, they also risk being eliminated quickly if their plan fails.
What is the price of the PS5 and the Xbox Series X? We compare the performance with a PC and explain what both new consoles would cost if you were to build them.
Neither Sony nor Microsoft has revealed much about the price of the PlayStation 5 or the Xbox Series X so far. We want to compare the performance of the next-gen console with similar computer hardware and present the information currently available:
What we know about the price of the Xbox Series X: Microsoft also has not stated a specific price for the Xbox Series X yet. Instead, there have been rumors that the S-version could be sold at a real competitive price.
How do we compare? We have looked at the known performance data for the Xbox Series X and the PlayStation 5 and identified equivalents in PC components:
Before the comparison, it’s important to know that these are not 1:1 equivalents. The clock rates for graphics cards and processors are slightly different. For a more comprehensive explanation, see wired.co.uk.
We focus on standalone processors and graphics cards in the comparison, not a processor-graphics combo solution (APU) like the consoles. The console manufacturers can save relatively much with a holistic, different cooling system compared to a gaming PC.
As for graphics cards, one currently must (still) rely on Nvidia, since AMD graphics cards do not offer ray tracing. Thanks to the new RTX Super models in 2019, prices have dropped somewhat, but they still remain higher than cards from AMD without ray tracing.
The price comparison uses prices from Geizhals.de.
PlayStation 5: price comparison with PC
During a developer stream, Sony had not yet presented an official design. The image shows a concept by a fan.

Xbox Series X: price comparison with PC
Below we present the individual parts of the Xbox Series X and explain why we chose this comparison.
The Xbox Series X, like the PS5, uses an AMD processor with Zen-2 architecture, which clocks up to 3.8 GHz. Its best comparable processor is the AMD Ryzen 7 3700X: it also uses the Zen-2 architecture and features 8 cores with 16 possible threads. Both the PS5 and PC utilize a 7-nm process technology. The clock rate of the Ryzen 7 is slightly above that of the Xbox Series X.
RTX 2080 Ti (13.45 TFLOPs), 4352 shader units, 2000 MHz
1089 Euro
The Xbox Series X leverages AMD’s RDNA-2 architecture for graphics, which offers ray tracing for the first time with AMD. The performance of the Xbox Series X GPU is most comparable to the RTX 2080 Ti, which provides slightly more performance than the RDNA-2 architecture at 13.45 TFLOPs and clocking slightly higher at 2000 MHz.

Standard Blu-ray drives are challenging to compare: If someone wants to play 4K Blu-rays on a PC, they need both a drive and software capable of playing them. Currently, only PowerDVD Ultra from version 17 can accomplish this, and this software incurs charges.
What the Xbox Series X costs as a PC
What is the total amount? The Xbox Series X costs 1698.99 Euro in our comparison with similar PC hardware.
Xbox Series X vs PS5 price comparison
PlayStation 5
Xbox Series X
1388.99 Euro
1698.99 Euro
What do the two consoles cost in comparison? In our comparison, the price of the Xbox Series X is higher than that of the PlayStation 5, with a difference of around 350 Euro.
Why is the price different? The significant price difference is primarily due to the differing performance of the graphics unit (GPU), where the Xbox Series X offers more than the competition.
Both consoles rely on AMD’s Zen-2 architecture for the processor and Navi technology for the graphics card. Nevertheless, the two consoles differ. The Xbox Series X features 52 compute units and 12.15 TFLOPs, while the PS5 only provides 36 compute units and 10.28 TFLOPs.
In our PC comparison, the RTX 2080 Super and RTX 2080 Ti are compared.
What does this mean for the actual purchase price? In this article, we can only outline trends regarding which console might be more expensive at release, as the actual prices are still unknown. And the final price is likely to be crucial for success:
Andrew House, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment (via Forbes.com), stated that with the PlayStation 3 in 2007 and 2008, they incurred losses of 3.5 billion dollars. Nevertheless, in the end, the console became profitable due to strong games and online services.
Why are they willing to take losses? Sony and Microsoft are willing to do this because they want to create a broad user base by selling their consoles. This user base is then also willing to pay for games or online services. Especially for good and exclusive games, players are happy to spend money.
How is money made? Microsoft earns about $7 in platform fees from a game priced at $60 and makes about $27 from contracts for first-party games (via fool.com). In addition, there are online services:
Microsoft offers Xbox Live Gold, which costs 60 Euro per year for online play.
Additionally, Microsoft offers a Game Pass that allows for unlimited gameplay for 10 Euro per month.
Sony offers PlayStation Plus, which also costs 60 Euro per year.
With PS Now, Sony offers a similar gaming subscription for 100 Euro per year.
How much performance do the new consoles offer? Many are eagerly waiting to see how powerful the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will be in practice. Many see TFLOPs as an indicator of performance:
At the end of a round, Summit1g was dominating and managed to eliminate his last opponent. While he celebrated that, he ran through the fire of a Molotov cocktail and died. Because of this silly action, he lost a significant advantage. Even back then, some viewers laughed, and the streamer himself smiled in disbelief.

How does Summit1g react to the nasty fans? The streamer is initially bewildered and wondered if he actually understood the word correctly.
Then he asked Ninja, with whom he played, if he heard it too. The Mixer streamer, who currently has fewer viewers than Summit1g himself, played along with the stream sniper’s joke and only replied mockingly: “Listen, I know that your experience was traumatic. However, I didn’t think it was that bad.”
With a slight smile on his lips, Summit1g then entered the round. He seemed surprised that so many stream snipers in his team simultaneously made the joke.
The Twitch streamer Jaryd “Summit1g” Lazar was reminded of one of his biggest fails by nasty stream snipers in a round of Call of Duty: Warzone . He takes it with humor anyway.
What happened: Summit1g is about to start a round of Warzone and is already ready to jump from the plane. In the in-game chat, numerous teammates simultaneously type the word “Molotov”. The characters in the game then loudly call out the word.
The streamer seemed to be bewildered and immediately understood the nasty joke from his teammates: They were reminding him of a fail of his during a CS:GO tournament.
Streamer brutally failed in a tournament – now getting teased
This is the clip: While Summit1g is live on Twitch, the action occurs. The following clip captures it:
What does the statement refer to? To understand “Molotov”, one has to follow Summit1g’s career for a while. In 2016, the streamer participated in a CS:GO tournament in Austin, America, where he had a nasty mishap.

In Diablo 3 Season 20 is currently running, and our author Patrick Freese is still having a lot of fun in the game. Even though it’s already 8 years old. But why?
What’s happening in Diablo 3? Actually, not much is going on in the game. New content comes with large intervals and is then rather limited. Each season has a new seasonal theme that slightly changes the gameplay. There are also a few new sets and balance changes. But no one expects any major expansions anymore. The last addon bringing the Necromancer came in 2017.
Many say that Diablo 3 has run its course, that nothing happens anymore. But the seasons pull me and other players back into the game every time. A few days ago Season 20 started and I am having fun again.
What is fun in Diablo 3 now?
Even though the game has been around for a few years, I always enjoy coming back. It’s not that I play Diablo 3 continuously, 24/7. I’ve spent several hundred hours with the different classes in the game. Each season, Blizzard’s monster slaughter new catches me and I enjoy coming back.
For me, the following points are in the foreground:
I can play it solo
I can also play it with friends
In the meantime, I can watch streams/Netflix
If I want, it’s competitive; if not, I play it brain-afk
Why is that important? There are simply days when I don’t want to put on the headset and sit in voice chat with my friends while gaming. Sometimes I prefer to listen to a podcast, music, or simply nothing at all. Then I level up alone with a guide to max level or grind through the rifts.
On other days, I really enjoy playing with my people. Together, we try out new group compositions in the high G-Rifts, goof around, or talk about all sorts of things while we tackle dull tasks – like farming bounties.
The fact that I have the free choice to play alone or in a group is worth a lot. And for that, I don’t have to switch from my single-player career to online mode and experience two different games. The transition is seamless, and that is good.
The cool seasonal theme for S19 I immediately rocked with a friend at the start – it was great
Mindless or competitive – whatever I feel like
This is how it goes mindlessly: Often after work, I want to turn off my head for an hour and chill out. This works on the PC when I start a stream and just play a little. Diablo 3 offers optimal possibilities with small rifts or bounties. I and most other players complete them without really paying attention to what happens on the screen. At a certain gear level, it doesn’t matter – you just go in blind.
I enjoy it because it brings me something. I farm materials, improve my character, and at the same time I let myself be entertained by a stream, podcast, or YouTube video. Perfect for mindless gaming.
This is how it goes competitively: It doesn’t do anything for me if a game never challenges me. It quickly becomes boring. As a complement to mindless farming, Diablo 3 offers the Greater Rifts to continually challenge oneself to climb the leaderboard.
That’s fun because I can compete with other players or friends. Or participate in the leaderboard with friends and we push each other as a team. Joy also comes from theorycrafting to see how we can further strengthen our character or build. In the tier list for Season 20 in Diablo 3, there are many good templates.
All these benefits are worthless if the game doesn’t appeal to me visually. And I have to say: You can see its age here and there in Diablo 3, but the graphics are perfect for me to have fun in it.
The rainbow level probably won’t be in Diablo 4 anymore – For me, it was always a welcome visual change in D3
Conclusion – Diablo 3 doesn’t always entertain me – but when it does, it’s a lot of fun
In summary, Diablo 3 is not a game that I would play continuously throughout the year or even for months.
Every few months I like to come back, play for a few weeks and then leave again. And during the time I play, I have a lot of fun. Mindless, brain-afk, or quite competitive.
I know that at the start of a season, friends of mine always jump in. Even if we barely keep in touch, Diablo 3 is often the common ground, and at the start of a season, well-meaning insults and teasing immediately fly through the chat as if nothing had ever happened. Just heartfelt. This little bat motivates me in Season 20.
It doesn’t take long to find your way back into the game, and with its many facets, Diablo 3 is a treasure that will always have a place in my heart. Well, at least until Diablo 4 colors my heart black and I then jump into the next compartment of hell.
The current measures to contain the coronavirus have not only negative sides, as it seems. Many streamers, especially on Twitch, and also video games benefit. However, the situation does not lead to enormous growth everywhere.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19, the disease caused by the coronavirus, the everyday life of many people is changing. One of the biggest changes: People have to stay at home, working partly from home, even as game developers.
The result is that many people are seeking distraction. This has led to a drastic increase in demand for certain online games. Clearly, because MMOs help to distract from the crisis and to think about other things.
Despite the restrictions, some parts of the gaming industry are thriving at the moment – especially streaming. More people are at home and looking for something to do – so they watch others do something. Like playing games, for example.
This is how Twitch is developing: In the past two weeks (March 6-20), Twitch has significantly gained viewers and is partly much more successful than at the beginning of the year, as the numbers above show.
The statistics page sullygnome shows that on average, more people streamed on Twitch and also watched streams than in January.
Twitch numbers in the last 2 weeks (via sullygnome, as of March 20)
503,982,999 viewer hours
1,499,949 average viewers
59,768 active channels on average
2,716,482 viewers simultaneously
Twitch numbers in January 2020 (via sullygnome, as of March 20)
1,010,010,231 viewer hours
1,349,367 average viewers
52,875 active channels on average
