We were traveling in Ardenweald, the new area from the Alpha of WoW: Shadowlands, but we barely got to quest. The impressive visuals are to blame.
For several hours now, one can experience the third of four new areas on the Alpha server of World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. I, Cortyn from MeinMMO, actually wanted to take a close look at the story and write about it. But I could hardly do that. Ardenweald captivated me with its beauty.
What is Ardenweald? Ardenweald (or also Ardenwald) is the nature realm of the Shadowlands. Here, souls who felt particularly connected to the nature of their world, such as druids or hunters, end up. At the same time, Ardenweald is also a place of rebirth. Great nature spirits and powerful beings connected to nature arrive in Ardenweald after their death. The Night Fae ensure that the nature spirits are revitalized and one day reborn in their homeworld (such as Azeroth).
Sure – the WoW graphics are not exactly state-of-the-art. Nevertheless, I found Ardenweald visually overwhelming. From the moment I arrived, I had no desire to immediately accept quests. Instead, I wanted to take my time to take in all the things this forest has to offer.
In the distance, the giant trees rise, their crowns intertwined in strange swirls. Everything is enveloped in cool, blue and purple hues. It appears enchanted and yet peaceful.
Similar to the night elves, the architecture is not built but seemingly grown and created through magic. Trees form the buildings, roots create walls and railings. This is strongly reminiscent of the structures of druids and night elves, but visually more impressive.
I also liked the story from the start, even though I have only completed the first few quests. I encountered two fairies who were apparently having fun decorating a Tirnenn (a kind of walking tree) while it slept. They gave him a beard and a hat and joyfully reveled in having played such a prank.
Because we helped with the prank, the fairy leads us to the first settlement, which is currently being attacked by Spriggans – rather destructive inhabitants of Ardenweald who create chaos and play significantly more brutal “pranks”. The graceful Sylvari suffer from this, who at first glance resemble “Satyrs in good”. Graceful and noble.
WoW veterans immediately recognize that the Sylvari use the skeleton of the Draenei and share some animations. However, since they move more like jumping or galloping, that takes a back seat. They appear strange, new, and interesting – like everything in this forest.
In the end, the fairy sends us in the direction of the first larger settlement and warns us to “stay on the path because there are many dangers.” A warning that one, of course, ignores as a WoW veteran. After all, 50 meters further down the road stands a Sylvari, shouting for help in panic. Her “grandma” is very weak and has been attacked by the hungry creatures of the forest. A typical job for aspiring heroes of Ardenweald.
Finding the grandma was not a problem, but as we approach her, she transforms into a wild predator. The Sylvari, when confronted with this deception, just grins widely at us as her disguise falls away – the woman is not real, but made up of three Spriggans stacked on top of each other who have assumed an illusion.
Over the course of nearly ten short quests, Blizzard manages to introduce four new species and gives us a rough impression of their behaviors and personalities. It does not feel overloaded but fits perfectly with the beautiful, foreign, and mysterious appearance of the forest.
Anyone who thought that World of Warcraft had drifted too much into Sci-Fi with spaceships, light cannons, and cosmic conflicts might be pleasantly surprised by Ardenweald. This forest brings back the fantasy. One becomes immersed in a dark, mythical world with numerous new and interesting creatures.
For me, Ardenweald even overshadows the beauty of Suramar and that has been my absolute highlight so far.
If the story can keep up with the visuals of the area, it will likely become my favorite zone from Shadowlands – and probably yours as well.

Players hope that the Diablo 3 team will fix this theme before it goes live in this form.
With Season 21, two new sets are also coming into play. They are for Demon Hunters and Necromancers. This could help boost these classes up the rankings in the new season.
Season 21 of Diablo 3 is currently being scrutinized on the test servers. Patch 2.6.9 brings some changes, but the seasonal buff seems to be running out of control.
What is happening in Diablo 3? While Season 20 is currently active on the live server, players are already testing the new Season 21 on the test servers.
Among these testers is the German streamer Rob2628. He uses the seasonal theme in various situations and noticed that even builds that are not supposed to deal damage are becoming really strong with it.
The reason is a scaling with area damage that may not have been planned by Blizzard at all.
What was noticed: During tests, Rob2628 noticed that the seasonal theme of Season 21 scales with area damage. So if you collect the chance to deal area damage on your characters, you will become really strong in the new season. And “really strong” means that even the Z-Builds, which are not supposed to deal damage, can achieve great success.
In a YouTube video, the streamer demonstrates how he completes a Greater Rift of level 150 as a zBarb. Although he doesn’t finish within the given time, he shows how strong the season bonus is.
You can see the kill of the Rift boss here in the embedded Twitch clip. When the snowball of the seasonal buff spawns in combination with the boss’s rats, the boss suddenly has only a few moments left to live.
Here, the scaling of the season buff, luck with a Rift boss, and luck with the RNG proc of the season buff play a role.
The streamer writes about this: On the PTR, we are supposed to break things, and we have broken things! Overall, the theme is too weak for groups but too strong for solo players. And there is way too much RNG involved regarding which proc you get. The time between them is 2 full minutes.
Why is this broken? A player on reddit sums up the problem well. “This is really not a matter of subjective interpretation,” replies mostlybarb (via reddit). “The video clearly shows a P1700 Barbarian with only 200,000 pure damage clearing a 7/10 Rift with the right portal boss at level 150.
“The problem is that the seasonal effects are tied to Greater Rift level but their damage triggers area damage. This means that the damage of your character is irrelevant as long as they have a lot of area damage [on their equipment] and stay alive.”
During the boss fight, damage numbers of over 71 trillion appear in the stream. And that as a zBarb, who with his equipment is actually only supposed to support and not deal any damage.
In Season 19, there were similar problems with the seasonal theme. Players exploited this and were even banned for it.
What is the theme supposed to do? The developers explained the purpose and use of the seasonal theme for Season 21 as follows:
The elements have deemed you worthy. As champions of the elements, the burning hells will have to face the trials of the storms!
Your character will occasionally (every 2 minutes) channel an elemental power that will be unleashed upon your surroundings for a limited time:
– You can make meteors rain down around you
– You can spit lightning
– You can create a wall of fire that devours everything
– You can unleash tornadoes of pure energy
– You can crush your enemies with snowballs
Players hope that the Diablo 3 team will fix this theme before it goes live in this form.

The LoL coach Jack “Kayys” Kayser worked as an American for the European LoL team Origen. However, he behaved so badly in his private games in League of Legends that Riot temporarily banned him from the LEC. This led to his team kicking him out.
This is Kayys: Jack “Kayys” Kayer is usually not someone who is in the spotlight, but he pulls the strings behind the scenes. Kayys is regarded as one of the best analysts in the LoL scene. He analyzes opponents for their weaknesses and then gives his teams valuable information on how they can win in the next match. He is somewhat of a scout.
In fact, some experts consider him one of the “smartest minds in LoL” and believe he was central to the success of his former teams, like Team Liquid, by optimally preparing them for their opponents.
The American worked for the European top team Fnatic and was employed by the extremely successful US team Team Liquid in 2019. However, he suddenly quit his job under strange circumstances.
He was drawn back to Europe, where he worked for Origen as a “Strategic Coach”. The team is now part of the Astrails Group. The German bot laner Elias “Upset” Lipp is regarded as the star of the team. Last season, they finished third.
Here’s why he got into trouble: As Riot Games states on their site, they banned Jack “Kayys” Kayer on June 2 for 3 weeks. During a routine investigation, it was noted that Kayser displayed such negative behavior in LoL that action had to be taken. He had used “discriminatory language” against other players.
There would be zero tolerance for that; it is unacceptable.
Although Kayer was not previously warned, the offenses were severe enough that action had to be taken and he was banned from all Riot competitions for 3 weeks.
This is how the team reacted: His team Origen fired him a day after the Riot ban. They thanked him but also stated: “There would be no further comments on this personal matter.”
This is how the fired one reacted: He describes it as an “unfortunate situation” and admits he made some mistakes. However, he wants to emphasize that he did not make any “racially discriminatory statements”; that is not his way.
This is how it is being discussed: It is unclear for which statements in the game Kayys was exactly banned, but on reddit, they discuss that he did not behave like a model citizen on Twitter and acted impulsively. Some of his views in interviews were probably controversial.
Therefore, it now seems not surprising,that he was banned for toxic behavior.
While Kayys’ results and abilities command some respect, it seems that his temperament has gotten in the way. Especially some statements in the past, claiming that US teams are stronger than EU teams, are still being held against him on reddit.
League of Legends seems to suffer from the problem that players lose control in chat and flame so hard that they get banned. This is especially true for players who are involved in LoL professionally.
One of the most popular Twitch streamers to LoL TF Blade repeatedly manages to pursue an impressive world record but then gets so carried away that he ends up raging and getting banned as a result.

In Fortnite: Battle Royale there is a bug that allows players to enter a match only after almost half the lobby has been eliminated. We will show you what this bug is and why it may not necessarily be advantageous.
What kind of bug is this? This discovered bug causes players to enter a match later. When they finally land in a match, half the lobby has already been eliminated.
This is because players only enter a match when the first storm zone has almost closed. During this time, usually 50% of the players have already been eliminated.
It was different for a player who was left behind by the Battle Bus on the starting island and didn’t make it to the Fortnite map at all.
The Forbes author Barry Collins shows in a YouTube video how it looks when you are affected by this bug:
When the player enters the match, they find themselves on the edge of the map, and only 52 players are left in the match. When they finally land on the roof of a house, more than half of the players are already dead.
So far, the bug seems to only occur on Mac and not many players are affected by it. The bug is also not listed on the Fortnite Trello.
How does the bug affect the game? This bug seems very advantageous at first glance. After all, you land later and only have to face half the lobby. The hard work seems to be done, and you have a higher chance of getting a good placement.
Nevertheless, you still have to face some fights. However, this was not the case for YouTuber Lazarbeam, who won a Fortnite match without moving.
Getting to the Fortnite map late also has its disadvantages because while you are just starting, the other players have already geared up.
It becomes harder to find loot at all when the other players have already taken all the good weapons. You have to make do with the leftovers, which are usually not the weapons you would prefer to have. Thus, this bug does not seem to be as advantageous as one might think.

In the MMO New World by Amazon, you will spend a lot of time collecting items. The various food, armor, potions, and weapons have complex properties. You will learn how all this works and why thick armor gives you not only advantages here.
What is the deal with the armors? In Amazon’s upcoming MMO New World there is a special system for armors. Instead of binding armors to classes or hero types, you can freely choose your armor pieces. There are three categories:
So if you armor up heavily, you take less physical damage. However, if you run around in full plate, it makes you slower and less agile. Dodging becomes difficult, you have to rely entirely on your damage reduction, and elemental damage is less well blocked by heavy armor.
But when does the game determine that you are cumbersome? It depends on the total weight of the armor. It is perfectly fine to wear one or two armor pieces from the “heavy” category, as long as the total weight is still in the “Light” range. After the last wipe, the developers of the online shooter Escape from Tarkov are clearing up among the players. Almost 10,000 cheaters have already been banned, and that was just the beginning.
This is how it looks in Escape from Tarkov: A new patch has recently been implemented, which led to a wipe of player accounts. Basically, all players had to start over.
Just a few days later, the development team stated that they had caught and banned around 3,000 cheaters. This number has now risen to almost 10,000.
Since those who play Escape from Tarkov fairly want more, the team has now announced a report function through which cheaters can be reported. Additionally, improvements to the BattleEye system are to follow, which will better detect cheaters.
Additionally, a two-factor authentication will be added, where players must provide a phone number for SMS verification. However, the developers do not believe that this will completely banish cheaters from the online shooter.
This will only make their lives a little harder, but that is a good thing.

What measures are still planned? One consideration is to no longer allow players to use VPNs. This is meant to negatively impact the quality of matches, as the ping gets worse with VPN. But such measures show why it is so difficult to combat cheaters.
Unfortunately, some of the past and upcoming measures can affect fair players and restrict them. That’s why it’s not a simple and quick series of actions – it needs to be done right.

What about illegal trading? Another issue is the real-money trading within the game. Players sell rubles or in-game items for real money on external platforms. However, these deals are prohibited by the terms of service of Tarkov. The developers want to combat this as well.

Niantic, the developer of Pokémon GO, has now spoken out about the protests in the USA and has taken a clear position. Players are excited about the statement.
This is what happened: For over a week, there have been riots and protests surrounding the death of African American George Floyd, who died during a brutal police operation.
After various game developers had already reacted, Niantic is now also making a clear statement. They stand for tolerance and show solidarity with the movement.
This is what Niantic says: In a long statement, John Hanke, CEO of Niantic, writes to the players. He talks about the ways in which Niantic can support such a movement. They address several points that they now want to implement. Here are some that we present:
Additionally, Hanke encourages his employees as well as the community. They should come together and support the Black Lives Matter movement.
Lastly, the CEO emphasizes that Niantic lives through its community and how important tolerance is there. They want to provide a fair system where all players are welcome.

How are fans reacting to this? The trainers of Pokémon GO are excited about the statement. Some say that while they often criticize Niantic for their work in Pokémon GO, in this case, the developers are doing everything right.

With Atlas, an exciting pirate MMO entered Early Access in December 2018. However, not much has been heard about the game since then, and player numbers are continuously declining. We take a look at the situation.
What’s the status of Atlas? The last patch for the pirate MMO was released in early April, and it has gone quiet since then. There has been a downward trend in player numbers since February 2020.
Atlas launched in December 2018 with a strong start, peaking at nearly 59,000 concurrent players. As of now, June 2020, according to Steamcharts, only around 3,000 players remain at peak times. This means Atlas now has only about 5% of its former player base. And it looks like this number will continue to decline. The trend looked quite different at the end of 2019.
The developers themselves have not communicated anything about the MMO since early April 2020. There has been absolute silence on Twitter. The official forum shows no signs of upcoming updates or any indication of Atlas’s future.
What the status of the Xbox One version is, cannot be said.
What do players think about the situation? A sort of indifference has settled in the community. Discussions are taking place on reddit, but there is no indication of anger. It seems that players have come to terms with the situation.
What kind of game is Atlas? It is a survival MMO that resembles ARK: Survival Evolved. You explore a vast island world with a ship and battle monsters. In addition, you gather resources and must try to stay alive. It is possible to team up with other players and build a base, which you must defend in PvP against other players.
Atlas places great emphasis on naval battles, which is why you need to upgrade your ship to perform better in combat.

For those who enjoy very fast-paced and action-packed battles in the MMORPG Elyon (formerly AIR: Ascent Infinite Realm), the latest gameplay videos of the game should be viewed.
What do the videos show? Included is a look at the melee combat of the MMORPG Elyon, as well as the range combat being presented. The videos demonstrate what you can expect from the clashes and how the battles unfold in-game:
What can be seen from the videos? Elyon plays extremely fast according to the combat in the gameplay videos. The previous mix of tab-targeting and action from the AIR days has been revamped and made even quicker. What about the tactics? The person controlling the two characters in the gameplay videos knows what they are doing and when to use which attack. One can recognize a certain tactic, even if everything unfolds extremely quickly.
It’s not just about button mashing; you must strategically deploy your skills against the various monsters and opponents.
What else is new about the MMORPG? The developers also revealed that you can completely adjust your class according to your play style using skills and runes.
This even extends to the point that the same class can be played completely differently by two players, as both have adapted their skills and runes differently.
What is Elyon, anyway? The MMORPG was previously called AIR: Ascent Infinite Realm and focused more on aerial battles with airships in its first version.
It has now been renamed to Elyon and focuses on more classic MMORPG elements such as exploring a large game world, battling monsters, quests, and PvE elements. However, PvP still plays a certain role. Elyon now feels more like a modern TERA. Aerial battles are also still in the game, albeit significantly toned down.
When will the MMORPG be released? The interesting MMORPG Elyon is currently in a beta phase in Korea. A global release in 2021 appears realistic. The developers definitely want to release the online role-playing game here as well.

The Closed Beta of Valorant is over and many previously banned cheaters were already looking forward to a restart. But Riot shows no mercy and many bans are still active. It doesn’t help to complain to the Riot boss on Twitter.
What was going on with the cheaters? Riot absolutely does not want cheaters ruining their game Valorant. Therefore, a highly controversial anti-cheat program was implemented during the beta, which is basically always active and starts right from the system launch.
Those caught cheating receive permanent hardware bans and cannot log into the game even with new accounts. Thousands of cheaters were caught during the beta. Many of them then whined inundignified manners in the forums, claiming they had “done nothing”.
However, Riot promised in a statement that they might lift some bans upon the release of Valorant.
Were the cheaters unbanned at the start? Indeed, many cheaters were eagerly looking forward to getting started again in the release version. But for some of them, the fun was short-lived.
Some cheaters couldn’t even get into the game or were immediately affected by a hardware ban after just a few rounds. As expected, they once again cried out in prominent cheater forums and lamented their fate:
Riot CEO shows no mercy: A particularly brazen cheater even reached out to Nicolo Laurent, the CEO of Riot, in his desperation. In a tweet, he asked the boss to please lift the ban. He had only cheated a little bit and was really looking forward to being able to play again after the release.
But the boss had no sympathy for that. In a brief response, he simply stated: “Sorry, no second chance for cheaters!”
Was anyone even unbanned? Indeed, many of the banned cheaters are wondering if Riot ever unbanned anyone. Matt Paoletti, an anti-cheat developer at Riot, commented on this:
Those who tested the tools a few times have been spared, as we said. But the regular users of free cheats and users of paid cheats remain indefinitely affected by the hardware ban.
So it seems that cheaters will have to do without Valorant indefinitely. But even those allowed to play Valorant have something to complain about. Because battle pass rewards are currently affected by bugs. Riot Games has now commented on the issue and explained the problem and the solution.

The former CoD pro and current streamer Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag had a terrible encounter with an even worse hacker in Call of Duty: Warzone. The meeting left him speechless, as he had no chance against the aimbot not once, but twice.
What exactly happened? The former CoD pro “Nadeshot” was in a squad during a 4-player BR match. Shortly after they had equipped their loadout, his team took out another 4-man squad that was roaming in the field between the Superstore and Storage Town.
With a red keycard in his pocket, the guys were about to head towards the bunker in a Rover when they took a few shots from the Superstore. “Nade” rushed right in and wanted to take the guy out. He even heard his footsteps just before he took a glance into the side entrance of the store. But he had no chance. The loaded white Uzi of the hacker became a top weapon thanks to an aimbot and took the streamer down in an instant.
But “Nadeshot” didn’t give up and wanted to take revenge on the hacker. After a quick and successful visit to the Gulag, he landed at the Superstore and was determined to catch the nasty cheater from behind. He moved up on the hacker from the back and probably wanted to eliminate him with a skilled execution.
But instead of a heroic kill, the aimboter showcased the power of his tool. He spun around at record speed and took the streamer down once again. He was left almost speechless, managing to utter nothing more than a few “OMG” remarks.

In the kill cam of the cheater, you can see how close the action was. The hacker continues firing at the automatically aimed team members of “Nadeshot” while he approaches the aimboter from behind.
With an ammo count of 5 bullets, the hacker spins around at lightning speed and catches “Nade” with most of the bullets in the head. This allows the remaining bullets in the M4, which the hacker had even previously picked up from the streamer, to suffice.
According to the weapon DPS table, the M4 requires 8 body shots with 2 armor plates. However, thanks to the headshots, the cheater can barely finish off “Nadeshot” with the last bullet.
How is IW dealing with hackers? Such scenes are unfortunately not rare in Call of Duty: Warzone. Even in the regular multiplayer, there were hardly any players before the release of Warzone who hadn’t been taken out by a wall glitcher.
With the release of the Battle Royale, the problem took on a whole new dimension. CoD even introduced a two-factor authentication for the free PC version, which requires a unique phone number when players want to create a new account.
In addition, the developers at Infinity Ward rely on a security team that reviews player data 24/7 and bans suspicious players or puts them in dedicated hacker servers. In a separate article, you can find out how the security team operates and for what reasons players are banned in CoD.

This morning, on June 2, the new shooter Valorant from Riot officially launched. How interested are you in the game?
What’s going on with Valorant? After the ongoing beta test of Valorant went offline last week, the game celebrates its official release today, on 02.06.
Since 7 AM, the servers have been running, and you can download the hero shooter for free and get started. But will you do that?
Prior to this, there was a lot of buzz around Valorant. This was mostly due to Riot’s unusual marketing strategy. Beta keys for the tactical shooter were randomly distributed via Twitch Drops to those who watched Valorant gameplay on various Twitch channels.
The strong presence on Twitch mainly gave players the opportunity to get a better picture of Valorant.
Even though a lot has changed with the release and new content like Agent Reyna has been added, we know what kind of gameplay Valorant offers its players.

Why all the fuss? After the African American George Floyd died during a brutal police operation in the USA at the end of May, there were nationwide unrest in many major cities. Many people have since taken to the streets to protest against racism and excessive police violence.
Infinity Ward and Activision, like many other industry giants, also took a clear stance and postponed Season 4 of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone as well as the new season of CoD: Mobile for this reason.
What is the criticism about? However, there was not only understanding from the players but also criticism. Not everyone could understand this decision and its contribution to solving the problem.
Some even accused the developers of hypocrisy. They would want to send a message with the season delay, yet their game has been full of racist names since launch – and the developers hardly do anything about it.

There they stated that they have been addressing this issue since the launch of CoD: Modern Warfare. Thousands of players with racist and hate-oriented names are banned daily. A shaman has defeated the current raid boss Drest’agath in World of Warcraft with an attack. He has utilized a cool mechanic.
In the meantime, it has almost become a weekly ritual. However, the streamer Rextroy, who otherwise kills enemies naked in PvP or blows up ghouls, has done it once again and defeated a boss in Ny’alotha with a single blow. This time he was playing as an enhancement shaman and picked Drest’agath, whom he extinguished with just one attack.
What did Rextroy do? Rextroy, in the form of his shaman Xodon, defeated the current raid boss “Drest’agath” with just one attack. He is teleported into the raid by his friends and unleashes an attack that deals a whopping 39 million damage points. Thus, Drest’agath is defeated in the blink of an eye, and the fight is considered mastered.
How does it work? Rextroy has once again made use of an apparently unlimited mechanic in the game. He used the spell “Raging Storms.” Every enemy hit by the attack increases the damage of the next Stormstrike by 5%. Since there is no limitation on this bonus – except that it expires after a few seconds – Rextroy was able to stack the buff many times.
He achieves a damage bonus of over 1700% and further increases it through suitable Azerite abilities, potions, and elixirs. After he has spawned enough adds at the first boss in the dungeon “The Stone Core”, he kills all of them with “Raging Storms” and is immediately teleported to the raid Ny’alotha. The result of that can be seen in the video above.
By the way, it didn’t work out for Rextroy on the first try and was quite lengthy. It takes several hours for the boss to spawn enough adds. You can also see the failed attempts in the video above.
Can this be replicated? No, it is no longer possible. As usual, Rextroy always informs the developers at Blizzard when he finds such exploits. Only after he has obtained the “okay” from Blizzard does he publish his videos. In general, the developers have already fixed such exploits with a hotfix. In this case, the damage from Stormstrike can only be increased by a maximum of 75% now.

The start of Season 3 in Fortnite is delayed again. After the season has already been postponed twice, there is now another wait for it.

What is the reason for the delay? That there could be a delay was almost clear after a special skin from a streamer was delayed because it was not “the right time”.
Now the delay has been officially confirmed, and Epic Games explained in the update why they made this decision. The United States is currently experiencing times of turmoil since 45-year-old African American George Floyd died during a police encounter in Minneapolis on May 25.
“The current events have brutally exposed to us the injustice that still exists in society. This is evident from the denial of basic rights to subtle or even overt racism against People of Color.”

Due to these events, they have decided to postpone the live event and the start of Season 3. They are also aware that this is now the third delay.

A new teaser for Destiny 2 has been revealed. It announces the “future” of the game – what can be seen?
This is the teaser: On Wednesday evening, June 3, the official Twitter account of Destiny 2 released the new teaser. The video runs for just 15 seconds but already gives a glimpse of what is coming in the game.
The developers write the sentence “Coordinates received. The future of Destiny 2 is coming” and the following date: June 9 at 6:00 PM (German time). They also refer to a website announcing to tune in to learn more about the “next chapter of Destiny 2.”

Developer Epic Games has postponed the presentation of the planned Fortnite skin for Twitch streamer Kathleen “Loserfruit” Belsten, as the streamer says. The reason is apparently the unrest in the USA. The situation could lead to a delay in the start of Season 3. The planned live event could seem tasteless.
This is the skin in question: It was not officially confirmed, but leaks made it clear: The Australian Twitch streamer Loserfruit was to receive her own skin in Fortnite. This is a special honor that has only been granted to Tyler “Ninja” Blevins so far. He complained terribly until, in January 2020, it finally happened.
Loserfruit has now confirmed on Twitch that she was indeed supposed to get a skin today, on June 3rd.

Especially because the live event involves a “doomsday scenario”, meaning it is related to destruction, it seems unlikely that Fortnite would actually hold this event now on Saturday. Apparently, it is planned to devastate the area around “The Agency” in the middle of the Fortnite map.
