To quickly upgrade your Resistance weapon in Final Fantasy XIV 5.35, you need to farm 6 Memory Clumps of Wrath. Here’s how to do it the fastest.
The South Front of Bozja has arrived with Patch 5.35 in Final Fantasy XIV, and there is much to do.
Warriors of Light can now upgrade their Resistance weapons, and in the second step of this quest line, you will be asked to obtain six Memory Clumps of Wrath.
Players must first accept the quest “The Maxim is Courage” from Zlatan in Gangos (X: 6.1 Y: 4.9) and keep it active for the entire duration of the process.
The Memory Clumps of Wrath can be obtained both at the South Front of Bozja and through Level 60 dungeons. The latter is the right way if you want to complete your Resistance weapon quickly.
The fastest method to farm six Memories is the Level 60 dungeon Antitower (synchronized; unsynchronized gives no drops). After completion, you will receive one Memory Clump each time.
The Antitower is very quick and easy to complete. The paths are short and the bosses simply melt away, making the dungeon one of the fastest, if not the fastest method to farm the clumps.
You receive one Memory Clump of Wrath for each run, which means only six runs of the Antitower are required to complete the currently last step of the weapon upgrade.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War offers weapon skins for your weapons again, including the coveted Gold, Diamond, and DM-Ultra Camos. However, you need to complete challenges and grind quite a bit. We explain what you need to do in multiplayer mode to unlock skins for your weapons.
What are Camos? In CoD games, Camos refers to skins and camouflage for your weapons. To hold something other than the factory version of the weapon in your hands, you will need to put in the effort and complete a series of challenges for each weapon class. In this article, we only cover the Camos from the multiplayer mode. The zombie mode has different Camos.
Almost no one wants to run around with the standard skin
The tasks are the same for each weapon of a class, but you need to complete the challenges individually for each weapon. So focus first on your favorite weapons.
However, it is worth it, as this allows you to show your teammates how good you are and how much time you have invested in the game.
Currently, there are seven categories of weapon camos that indicate the pattern of the color. You unlock them one by one as you level up your weapon:
Spray Paint: Available from the start
Stripes: Weapon level 5
Classic: Weapon level 10
Geometric: Weapon level 20
Flora: Weapon level 30
Science: Weapon level 40
Psychedelic: Weapon level 50
The pattern “Science”
The pattern “Stripes”
The pattern “Spray Paint”
The pattern “Classic”
The pattern “Geometric”
The pattern “Flora”
The pattern “Psychedelic”
How do you get camos? Each weapon has 5 regular levels in each of the above-mentioned Camo categories. The requirements are below in the challenge descriptions.
How do you get Gold camo? If you have unlocked all 5 Camos in all 7 categories for a weapon (so 35 Camos), you will receive the coveted Gold skin for that weapon. MeinMMO shows you what challenges you need to master to obtain all 35 Camos.

A woman named Stephanie claims that the latest League of Legends champion Seraphine is based on her. This is said to relate to both visual and character aspects. She explains that she had a relationship with a Riot Games employee for a while, who wanted to impress her but took it too far. However, the developers themselves deny the accusation.
What does Stephanie claim? On Medium.com, Stephanie published a post titled “The Problem with Seraphine.” There, she talks about her past with the Riot employee, with whom she spent about 3 months, but also about the similarities between herself and Seraphine.
In this context, the player emphasizes that she is not thrilled to now be part of League of Legends. She is said to no longer enjoy the MOBA, primarily due to the new champion.
She describes the entire situation as very stressful:
People who do not know Stephanie at all are reaching out to her and pointing out the similarities with Seraphine.
Additionally, there is already a lot of pornographic material related to Seraphine.
The heroine is also controversial: people complain and get upset about Seraphine almost daily.
She feels disturbed by the many similarities in her privacy and is not happy that a large corporation is making a lot of money off of her.
What does Riot Games say about it? In an official statement, Riot denies Stephanie’s allegations. They emphasize that the character Seraphine “is not based on a real person,” including not on Stephanie.

The former Riot employee, with whom Stephanie had a relationship, is said to have left the company more than a year ago. He also worked in a department unrelated to character design.
Similar appearance and love for K/DA and cats
Stephanie continues to hold her allegations even after Riot’s statement. Although she does not believe that Seraphine was created solely based on her, she contests the claim that she is not based on a real person at all.
She sees this as justified by the fact that the developers themselves revealed via Twitter that Whiskies, a Riot employee with pink hair, may have served as inspiration.

What does Stephanie point out as similarities? For her similarities, she presents several points in her blog post:
The very similar name
The visual similarity. Before her first meeting with the Riot employee, she dyed her hair pink, just like Seraphine
Her love for the virtual band K/DA. Seraphine shares this as well. The champion has already sung their songs on social media and even got a performance in the song MORE
She herself wrote an essay about the relationships between the LoL factions Piltover and Zaun. The story of Seraphine also revolves around these two factions
Her rebellious phase. Before the first meeting, she moved to a completely new city and focused on her first job. Seraphine is also considered an optimistic character who is determined to pursue her dreams
Her love for cats. There is also a picture showing both characters and their pets in similar positions
Stephanie with her cat on the left and Seraphine with hers on the right (Image via Stephanie)
Where do the similarities come from? Stephanie explains the strong similarities by stating that she had a brief relationship with a Riot employee in early 2019, whom she only refers to as “John” in her post.
Riot employee allegedly used Stephanie as a template
What kind of relationship was it? Stephanie is said to have met John in March 2019 through Tinder while she was at several job interviews. According to Stephanie, they communicated for several months, played LoL together, and occasionally met.
The relationship ended in May/June. Everything moved too quickly for Stephanie, and when she wanted to take it slower, John allegedly broke off contact.
Hints about her and Seraphine: However, Stephanie reports that John made many suggestions during LoL matches. These included remarks like “we should implement that in the game” when she made jokes.
John then invited Stephanie to the Riot headquarters. There, he reported that the essay she wrote about Piltover and Zaun had been read by several Riot employees.
Additionally, she was shown an illustration of herself, in which she was drawn as a new skin for K/DA-Ahri.
John is also said to have promised her that there would be a surprise related to K/DA on her birthday. That is on September 19, which is the day Seraphine announced via Twitter that she was collaborating with K/DA.

Seraphine is the LoL champion with the most dislikes on YouTube.
There have also been plenty of discussions about the character’s appearance, behavior, and lore. The flamboyant woman with purple hair and self-doubt does not fit for many into the harsh world of Runeterra.
The criticism has even gone so far that players find her too brutal because, according to her story, she has transformed other champions into magical earplugs:
The youth of India is crazy about PUBG Mobile (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile), but the authorities there have banned the game. Now, PUBG Corp. is making a new attempt to modify the game so that it can be played in India again. The special thing is: The changes are coming in record time and are radical.
What’s up with PUBG Mobile and India? India is not a traditional gaming market. Neither consoles nor PCs have really established themselves as gaming platforms there. Only powerful, affordable smartphones have opened up the vast country (1.38 billion inhabitants) as a gaming market in recent years.
The first big hit in India was PUBG Mobile. Especially the youth of the country was mad about the shooter. It has become a cult:
But authorities and media watched the shooter with growing skepticism. It was deemed “too violent” for some and not in line with the values of India, as reported by the media. Moreover, the mobile shooter appeared to be truly addictive to the youth, as critically noted.
In September 2020, India even banned PUBG Mobile, along with many other apps: The apps were said to threaten national security.
The accusation was obvious: The apps collected data and transmitted it to China. PUBG Mobile was distributed in India by Tencent, a huge Chinese corporation.
Apparently, tensions at the Indo-Chinese borders contributed to further inflaming the conflict.
Tencent is out, Microsoft is in, and there’s a big investment
How PUBG is avoiding trouble from China: It quickly became clear that PUBG Corp. wants to bring PUBG Mobile back to India at all costs.
The PUBG Corp. announced shortly after the ban in India that it would part ways with Tencent. They have severed the connection.
As a “new partner,” they have now brought Microsoft on board. They want to use their Azure service to widely distribute PUBG in India.
According to a statement:
The safety and privacy of Indian players are of the utmost priority for PUBG Corporation: The company will conduct regular audits and verifications to ensure the safety of the personal information of Indian users.
It probably doesn’t hurt that the parent company of PUBG Corp. has announced a significant investment in India. KRAFTON plans to spend $100 million and invest in “video game infrastructure” in India.
They plan to open an office that will employ more than 100 people.
Mandatory clothing, game time limit, and green blood
How the game is changing: There are also three changes to the game to reflect “the needs and preferences of Indian users.”
Blood is now green in India
There is a game limit that allows for “healthy play for teenagers”
Players will no longer start PUBG Mobile in their underwear but with an outfit
When “PUBG Mobile India” will be released is still unclear at the moment.
What’s behind it: PUBG Mobile reached 50 million users per month in India before the ban and created a genuine e-sports scene. In India, there’s a YouTuber named “Sc0ut” who became famous through PUBG Mobile and is as well-known there as Dr Disrespect is here.
Therefore, it was extremely important for PUBG Corp. to bring the game back on the market as quickly as possible.
This shows that it apparently only takes a very short time to make such substantial changes and “adapt” the game for India.
Only 2 months have passed since the ban. Many players would wish that their game could also undergo radical changes that quickly.
PUBG Mobile is extremely successful in India.
In 2019 there was a real campaign in Indian media about how dangerous PUBG Mobile was and that some Indian teenagers had already died because of it.
We picked up one of the reports here on MeinMMO, stating that PUBG was responsible for the deaths of 2 men at the railway tracks:
In Liverpool, newcomer Diogo Jota is now a key player. However, his rating in FIFA 21 does not reflect this, which the player has now commented on.
For 45 million euros, the Portuguese winger transferred to Liverpool FC this summer. Since then, he has scored 7 goals in 11 matches for the English champions.
And even in the preseason, when he was still playing with Wolverhampton Wanderers, his performance was strong: He scored 16 goals and provided 6 assists. However, EA did not adjust his FIFA 20 rating and kept it at 80 for FIFA 21, even though he excelled in the Europa League with 8 goals.
This is exactly what bothers the player, as he reveals in an interview with a Portuguese TV channel.
This is Diogo Jota’s card in FIFA 21
Diogo Jota criticizes EA Sports for rating
This is what the professional says: In the interview, Jota said about EA:
I believe they were surprised that I transferred to Liverpool. They probably thought I would stay at Wolverhampton and did not bother to upgrade my card.
I have the same ratings as last year, even though I was one of the top scorers in the Europa League; they simply didn’t care.
However, the player became somewhat more conciliatory afterwards, saying: “As long as I get my 99 card, which apparently every pro can get, I’m happy.” However, this card will likely only be played by Jota himself.
That he would use it is very likely, as Jota is not only strong on the right football pitch but also on the virtual pitch. There he is probably the best FIFA player among football professionals:
But maybe Jota will be rewarded by EA for his good performances this season. With good performances, he could collect Inform cards and thus help his OTW card to get the first upgrades.
What do you think about Diogo Jota’s rating? Does he deserve an upgrade?
Genshin Impact has launched the closed beta for Patch 1.2 in China. Leaks from the test show new playable characters and a new snowy area.
Where do the leaks come from? With the release of Update 1.1, the developer miHoYo immediately started working on the next upcoming content of Genshin Impact. Accordingly, the closed beta for Update 1.2 started on the test servers in China.
Some participants of this beta have posted on reddit and social media screenshots of what players can expect in the update. Additionally, more images have been datamined from the beta code.
Dragonspine Mountain as a new area
This is the new area: Along with the patch notes for Update 1.1, miHoYo also released a small roadmap of upcoming updates. Patch 1.2 is planned for December 23 and will bring a new area: Dragonspine Mountain.
On Twitter and reddit, there are now screenshots of the area and an image of the map:

Particularly striking in the images are the red crystals, which strongly resemble Dvalin’s corrupted tears. It is also suspected that a temperature system will be introduced in the game and that players will freeze on the mountain, similar to Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
Players on reddit and social media speculate that the three characters Albedo, Ganyu, and Xiao will soon be playable, but it is not confirmed that this will happen in Update 1.2.
The dataminers and beta players have at least discovered their own Gacha artworks:

This is Albedo: On the left side of the image, you can see the character Albedo, who has been mentioned multiple times in dialogues and the lore of Genshin Impact. He is an alchemist and the mentor of the character Sucrose. He also leads the Investigation Team of the Knights of Favonius as captain.
The “chalk prince” Albedo is considered a genius, well-liked in Mondstadt, and is said to be good with children. Even the impulsive Klee listens to his instructions. Gameplay-wise, he is a Geo character who uses a bow.
This is Ganyu: On the right side of the image, you can see Ganyu, who is the ambassador and secretary of the Liyue Qixing. You can encounter her in the game during the main story.
Ganyu is a calm and reserved character, deeply devoted to the Geo God Rex Lapis. Keqing suspects that such blind devotion was triggered by a formative event in the past. Ganyu also uses a bow, but with the Cryo element.

This is Xiao: This Anemo character, who uses a spear, was already playable in one of the closed beta tests of Genshin Impact. However, he was removed before the release, and fans expected him to be added back later.
Xiao is a mysterious young man whom you encounter during the story. He always behaves politely and calmly and prefers to think through his actions logically before acting.
There are rumors that despite his youthful appearance, Xiao is thousands of years old. One should not be deceived by his polite nature, as he is said to be extremely dangerous and a powerful fighter.
In Destiny 2, players are searching for the popular Exotic Hawkmoon. We now know how you can obtain the Exotic revolver in Season 12 – and we already have an initial idea of the returner’s overhaul.
However, so far there is no trace of the weapon. Now it is officially confirmed when you can expect the Exotic and how you will obtain Hawkmoon. MeinMMO presents you with the latest info.
How to get Hawkmoon: You will not receive Hawkmoon as part of Beyond Light, but in Season 12. The Season of the Hunt has already partly started, but will officially kick off on November 17.
You will receive Hawkmoon as a quest reward in Season 12.
The quest is only available to owners of the Season of the Hunt.
We do not yet know exactly when the quest will start. However, Season 12 ends on February 9, and Hawkmoon must be in the game by then at the latest.
The coveted Exotic is therefore guaranteed and is not tied to your loot luck. You just have to be a little patient; it is also possible that the quest goes live right at the reset on Tuesday.
Hawkmoon is available as a quest reward in Season 12
In the Season of the Hunt, you will acquire the coveted returner
Why do Guardians love Hawkmoon so much? One reason for its popularity is the aesthetics of the Exotic. Revolvers are already favored among Guardians. When the weapon is characterized by simple elegance and a hint of danger, it is gladly used.
Furthermore, there’s the power fantasy that Hawkmoon catered to: Random rounds in the magazine could deal enormous damage – but it was a kind of gambling. If Fortuna was kind, enemy Guardians would drop after a shot.
In the early days of Destiny 1, PvP was dominated by the “Trinity of Exotic Hand Cannons”. Guardians nostalgically remember this, and in Destiny 2, the Trinity is once again complete with Hawkmoon, “The Last Word“, and “Dorn“.
More about the new Exotics from Beyond Light and Season 12 can be found here:
How strong is Hawkmoon in Destiny 2? The exact perks of the Exotic are still unknown. However, we know that Hawkmoon will not rely on the high luck factor anymore.
In the trailer for Season 12, the weapon plays a prominent role:
Hawkmoon takes down an enemy Guardian in PvP with 3 critical hits – therefore, it is probably a 140 hand cannon (as it was in Destiny 1).
Immediately after that, the Exotic lights up and takes down the next Guardian with just one loaded shot.
Keep in mind, we do not know how many hits Hawkmoon landed prior or if the second Guardian had full health.
Less luck but other attributes
Are you looking forward to the Exotic and curious about the new version? Do you think it should slowly come to an end with the Exotic returners, or would you gladly make an exception for Hawkmoon? Let us know in the comments.
With Shadowlands, a lot is changing in World of Warcraft – from the new maximum level to a completely new leveling experience to the professions. With our new special issue, you have the perfect guide at hand to find your way around.
On November 24, the new expansion Shadowlands was released. With the new addon, Blizzard is not only completely revamping the leveling system – the maximum level is again 60, just like in Classic – but it also brings a lot of innovations.
Although Blizzard spoiled my favorite class with the changes, I’m already having a great time with Shadowlands. New raids and dungeons, a pretty cool story, and a reunion with old acquaintances … and then there’s Torghast, this huge tower full of crazy possibilities! In my 15 years of almost continuous play, this tower could be the best thing that has ever happened to the game.
We from MeinMMO – specifically, Cortyn and I – have teamed up with GameStar to put together a new special issue for you. You can already pre-order it now and have all the important information about the new addon practically in hand.
GameStar and MeinMMO are sister sites and both belong to Webedia Gaming GmbH. This edition of the GameStar special issue is powered by MeinMMO. There’s a little preview here.
Benedict Grothaus has been a freelance author at MeinMMO for 3 years and has been playing World of Warcraft for 15 years. During that time, he has experienced all expansions, played through almost every raid, and lost himself in Azeroth for many hundreds of hours. His favorite class is the Bard, which he hopes will come to the game since an April Fool’s joke from Blizzard. Until then, he is content with Rogues, Death Knights, and Warriors.
Class Changes and Guides
You already know that my beloved Outlaw Rogue in Shadowlands is no longer what I want him to be. Fortunately, every class has received updates, and many of them have become really attractive again.
Many old abilities have returned, and several specializations now have new ways of being played – like the Fury Warrior with one-handed weapons.
In the magazine, you will find a handy guide for each class with useful tips on playstyle, the most important changes, and the best talents to utilize for beginners. Ideal if you’re looking to try a new class with the new addon.
Introduced in Legion with mixed feelings among players, legendary items return with Shadowlands. They are the best items you can obtain in the game.
The armors, rings, and necklaces come with various effects that enhance your class and abilities. In Shadowlands, however, they have a special twist: You simply craft them.
To craft legendary items, you first need the right base items. You can only get them from blacksmiths, leatherworkers, and other crafting professions. Both for the Legendaries and the professions, you will find detailed guides in the magazine that explain everything you need to know.
You swear allegiance to one of these covenants and receive stylish cosmetics, mounts, and pets – and more importantly: new skills. Each covenant provides you with a covenant ability and another one for your respective class.
Additionally, there are soul binds, allowing you to choose a quasi-companion that grants you various buffs. The covenants are the new system through which you can unleash your full power in Shadowlands.
Cortyn explains to you in several pages how exactly it works and what you get for joining one of these exclusive societies.
A small preview of the covenants.
Torghast, the (Almost) Endless Tower
The probably best feature WoW has ever received and may ever receive is Torghast. In this endgame content, you can spend hours farming materials for legendary items or simply cosmetics.
The tower offers high replayability with its roguelike approach and even had me playing a Mage in the Beta – I was so eager to explore this tower!
In the different wings and levels of the tower, you choose completely new perks that alter your abilities. Alone or as a group, you can come up with crazy builds and get to know your class all over again.
A new post-apocalyptic MMORPG called The Skies: Reborn has launched on Steam. However, players are not particularly enthusiastic.
What kind of game is this? The Skies: Reborn is the free-to-play re-release of the post-apocalyptic MMORPG The Skies, which launched in Early Access in 2016. However, the first version never made it past the EA phase.
In the game, civilization on Earth has collapsed due to increased solar activity. Now, 150 years later, the reclaiming of the planet is set to begin.
You can expect a large world of 12 km², where you will travel on foot and by vehicles.
You must fight against gangs and mutants, as well as in PvP against other players in fast shooter battles. To do this, you will improve your hero’s skills and craft or find powerful equipment.
Your weapons can be improved over time.
In dialogues with NPCs, it is possible to make decisions that will impact the world.
It is possible to become a merchant, clan leader, bandit, or even the mayor of your own city and boost the in-game economy together with other players.
The Skies: Reborn is getting a negative reception from players
How is the game being received? After launching on November 12, the game currently has a rating of only 14 % on Steam and is marked as “Negative.” Critics claim that it looks too poor for a game released in 2020, that it is not optimized, that there are issues with hackers, and that there are still many bugs. In addition, allegations of Pay2Win arise.
However, some players do see potential in the MMORPG.
What do players say about The Skies: Reborn? We have summarized some voices for you:
TRUMP: STOPTHESTEAL.US writes on Steam: “The game is absolutely terrible. There are speed hackers everywhere. There is Pay2Win. You can literally buy in-game currency and acquire everything to fully upgrade your character!”
•|•Berasedi•|• is quite disappointed: “I don’t know why anyone would publish such an unoptimized game like this. It feels like a 10-year-old downloaded an old version of Blender and Unity and tried to create a Fallout clone for his friends without any experience in game development.”
Crez says: “I spoke with a bartender and danced with a fat man with a choking collar, but unfortunately, that is not enough for me to overlook the poor voice acting, the graphics, the skill tree, and pretty much everything that makes a game a game.”
Chief Medical Officer Coitus sees it a bit differently: “To be honest? It’s okay. However, it definitely needs a lot more work.”
Have you had a chance to check out The Skies: Reborn? What do you think of this post-apocalyptic MMORPG?
Call of Duty: Warzonehas a new killstreak, a bomb drone. However, this has unofficially existed in the game for a long time, as players built it themselves. Now the developers have officially implemented it. Find out here how it works and where you can get it.
What is the bomb drone all about? Players of the Call of Duty series may be familiar with the many creative ways to use C4. In Black Ops 3, bombs were attached to remote-controlled cars and detonated in groups of enemies.
In Warzone, players do the same with reconnaissance drones. With some tweaking, you can also attach C4 or other objects to create a flying bomb. In this article, you can see how players have made spectacular kills with C4 drones.
The developers probably liked this idea, which is why there is now a secret new killstreak that provides you with such a bomb drone almost ready to use.
By the way, there’s also a new killstreak from Cold War:
This is how the bomb was discovered: The reddit user hefy123 explored a bunker with a red keycard and found the killstreak “Bomb Drone” inside. We have embedded the video here for you.

What can the bomb do? Essentially, the bomb drone works like the improvised version. It just doesn’t need to be assembled first. Additionally, the explosion is larger than that of regular C4, and you can detonate the explosive on your own without needing to coordinate with a teammate. However, since the bomb is likely only found in special bunkers, it shouldn’t be overpowered.
What fans are saying: In the comments under the Reddit post about the drone, many fans are happy that the developers are honoring something that players originally came up with in this way.
Is Warzone a threat to CoD: Cold War?
Listen to the MeinMMO podcast for a discussion about the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Will the integration of Cold War in the successful Warzone succeed?
User Freeshout420 summarizes it by saying: “Wow, they took a community tactic that wasn’t intended and made it part of the game. Cool!”
So far, the bomb drone seems to only be found in private and training matches. The developers have not yet brought it into the regular mode. It also did not appear in the patch notes. Private matches are one of the new features that came with patch 1.29 to Call of Duty: Warzone.

In League of Legends, some of the top coaches are changing their teams. The struggling T1 around superstar Faker has now secured the coaching duo from the world champions DAMWON Gaming. DAMWON, in turn, has brought in kkoma, the coach who made T1 world champion three times.
This is what has been happening with T1 lately: The legendary LoL team that became world champion in LoL in 2013, 2015, and 2016 has recently been in a crisis:
In 2020, the new coach Kim temporarily benched Faker and received death threats for it. Overall, 2020 was just mediocre, and T1 missed the Worlds – coach Kim subsequently left.
Fans were furious when rumors surfaced that T1 would hire a Starcraft player and an American as new personnel. Fans demanded that T1 should rather hire “experienced LoL coaches.” The fans even rented a truck to express their concerns to T1’s management.

The truck drove through Seoul, sharing the fans’ protest.
World Champion Duo Switches to T1
These are the new coaches for T1 now: T1 has finally announced who they have hired as coaches:
Yang “Daeny” Dae-in will be the new head coach; he previously worked at DAMWON Gaming and made them world champions.
Lee “Zefa” Jae-min will be the new coach; he was previously the head coach at DAMWON Gaming and had worked at SKT1 before.
The two will exchange their positions: At DAMWON, Zefa was the boss; at T1, it will be Daeny.
He will be the new head coach and master strategist: Daeny.
It is said that the position change came at Zefa’s request, as he prefers to be a coach rather than a head coach. Daeny now has the task of rebuilding the “dynasty”; he will have full authority to choose players and set the strategy.
Zefa expresses how happy he is to be back at T1. He admits that “he received a good offer”, but what is more important to him is rebuilding the dynasty around T1.
Zefa was previously at T1 in 2018 and 2019.
The two are likely the best you can buy for money in current LoL. Success proves them right. DAMWON played an outstanding Worlds in 2020, and at no point did it seem like they were faltering or struggling.
They first dominated the LCK in summer with a 16-2 record, then wiped out their opponents from DRX in the LCK playoffs with a 3-0, and at Worlds, they were similarly unstoppable. The European top team G2 had no chance against DAMWON, and DAMWON brought the world championship title back to Korea after it had gone to China in 2018 and 2019.
The Starcraft coach previously mentioned actually comes on board as General Manager.
However, there is no mention of the American coach Nick “LS” De Cesare. Rumors suggest he might still join T1 as an analyst – or not at all.
Interestingly, Bae “Bengi” Seong-woong is returning to T1. He was the jungler in the legendary team that made Faker a three-time world champion. He will now coach T1’s academy team.
Considered one of the best junglers of all time: Bengi coaches the youth.
Typical Anime Situation in LoL
What is DAMWON doing now? The world champions from Korea are losing their coaching duo and, in return, hiring kkoma, the legendary world champion trainer from T1.
This is an action straight out of one of those anime where former characters return in new seasons, but in different roles.
Let’s see what he comes up with for DAMWON.
It seems that if Faker really wants to become world champion for the fourth time, he must go past his old coach, who has Showmaker, Nuguri, and Canyon, three of the best LoL players in his team.
This could be challenging.
He has an incredible story behind him.
Coaches in LoL are mostly not in the spotlight for fans. They set the strategy and determine which player plays which champ. But usually, they tend to stay in the background. One coach from Korea has been more famous than his players in recent years – cvMax.
He was banned for life from LoL for allegedly choking a player, but he made a comeback:
Do you prefer action-packed MOBAs like SMITE? Then the new Kingshunt might be interesting for you. Soon you will get to try it out.
What is Kingshunt? The game is officially referred to as an online multiplayer action game played from a third-person perspective, combining tower defense mechanics with hack and slash combat.
The trailer strongly resembles the MOBA SMITE, but with a significantly darker atmosphere. PvP battles are at the center, where two teams consisting of 5 players each face off against each other. The video shows how it goes down:

What is special about the game? The developers want the battles to be action-packed yet tactical. You are actively attacking like in a hack and slash game, but you need to coordinate your attacks. For example, it is important to watch when the opponent drops cover to attack immediately. Additionally, it is essential to use special abilities strategically, as they significantly influence the outcome of a battle.
The battles are said to be somewhat inspired by Soulslike games like Demon’s Souls or Bloodborne. You need to find the weaknesses of your enemies and exploit them. This is supposed to lead to unique gameplay, where battles are not just mindless action, as this video proves:
https://youtu.be/dhBKYpduPhE
This is how a complete match in Kingshunt unfolds.
How do I participate? The alpha of Kingshunt starts on November 28. You can sign up for the test on the official website. With a bit of luck, you will be selected.
The MOBA is set to launch on Steam in Spring 2021.
What else is interesting? Just like in SMITE, you have the choice between multiple heroes, each with different skills and play styles. You choose the character that suits you best. It is important for the team to use heroes that complement each other due to their abilities.
Additionally, elements from tower defense games come into play. In the first phase of the game, you build defensive towers in strategically smart locations. In the second phase, it is necessary to lure the opponents so they can be caught by these towers. This leads to very strategic, yet action-packed gameplay.
Recently, the new expansion Beyond Light for Destiny 2 has launched. But how is it being received so far? What do the players say? We summarize the mood around Beyond Light after the first few days.
What’s the deal with Beyond Light? Beyond Light is the new expansion for Destiny 2, which started on November 10.
This expansion was highly anticipated, as it brings a new story, fresh gear, a new location, and cool new powers for the Guardians.
Now that many Guardians have fought through the new content and formed their first impressions of Beyond Light, the addon is being discussed vigorously.
The long wait is finally over
How is Beyond Light being received after the first few days?
This is the mood: Generally, many see the new expansion as divided; there is certainly praise, but also much criticism.
The general tone that resonates is: Beyond Light is a good expansion in itself, but it does have some poor or at least questionable design decisions that ruin the experience for many.
What is being praised: Many aspects of the new expansion are well received by the players.
The new Exotics are cool. The ones that have been able to be played so far are well received.
The new Stasis powers offer numerous new possibilities and are a lot of fun – at least in PvE. More on PvP later.
The new soundtrack is well received
The new icy location Europa with its snowstorms and mysteries is considered fantastic by many
The Guardians unleash themselves on the icy moon Europa
Here comes the criticism: However, there is also criticism – and unfortunately quite a lot of it. At the start, many were still in the honeymoon phase, but as one fights through the new content and spends time in Destiny, many negative points become increasingly evident.
On PC, many players are still complaining about performance issues after release
The effects of sunsetting, i.e., the so-called weapon sunset, are now really noticeable. This made a large part of the previous firearms useless for the new content, yet there is simply too little new to compensate for this circumstance. While it may improve in the future with new gear, many consider the current state untenable.
In general, the diversity of new weapons is criticized. Forsaken reportedly brought 98 legendary/exotic weapons into the game, while Beyond Light has only brought 31 so far.
Apart from armor pieces, there was no update of the vendors, whereby the respective new armors are only reskins of each other.
Legendaries that drop regularly in the game world are essentially the same as last season
In general, Destiny 2 currently offers just too little new loot as a looter shooter.
While the new powers are well received in PvE, Stasis breaks PvP and currently ruins the experience entirely for many players.
The Forsaken and Shadowkeep expansions still cost extra, yet essentially all of their gear, except for the raids, has been affected by sunsetting. The gear obtained in regular activities there can no longer be effectively utilized in the new content or pinnacle activities.
Once one is through Beyond Light, many players feel that Destiny 2 currently offers too few content for an action MMO. And while the content is indeed good – for how long will it last?
In short: As good as Beyond Light is in many of its new contents, some design decisions dampen the fun for many and currently overshadow even some of the positive aspects that the new expansion brings. Especially the omission of many contents, sunsetting, and not enough new in return – many experienced players seem to be struggling with this. For new players, however, this is less of a problem.
In general, the current mood is: Beyond Light brings a lot of good but also some bad, with the bad overshadowing the positives for some, if not outweighing them. They certainly delivered. But whether and for how long that will be enough – remains to be seen. Shortly after launch, certainly not everyone is happy.
Guardians, now it’s your turn
What do you say? How do you view the new expansion after the first few days? Has it convinced you and are you having fun with it? Are you still unsure about what to think? Are you disappointed and possibly regretting the purchase?
Participate in our small survey and let us know. Keep in mind that you only have one answer option. Thank you for your time and participation.
Feel free to share your detailed opinion with us and the readers of MeinMMO in the comments.
By the way, the coming days and weeks may be important for Destiny 2. For many, Destiny 2 stands or falls with its new expansion Beyond Light. It will be exciting to see whether it can convince players in the long run.
In World of Warcraft, players hunt the undead Nathanos Blightcaller. They kill him just for fun and satisfaction – it simply feels too good.
In World of Warcraft, almost everything revolves around loot. Whether it’s dungeons, raids, PvP, or world bosses – players engage with these contents to grab loot. Rarely is there any other motivation to accomplish something in the game. The current boss, Nathanos Blightcaller, represents a curious exception. Some players repeatedly send him to the afterlife just for the joy of it, even when it provides no gameplay advantage.
The Story of Nathanos Blightcaller
Nathanos Blightcaller is one of the oldest characters from World of Warcraft. He was already a boss in the open world in WoW Classic and waited in the Eastern Kingdoms.
His story was quite simple up to that point, although he was already a special snowflake back in the day. He was the only human trained as a ranger by the elves of Quel’thalas. When the Scourge invaded, Nathanos was killed and resurrected as an undead, which is why the Alliance wanted to eliminate him.
Sylvanas then freed Nathanos from the influence of the Scourge and made him her champion. From then on, Nathanos accomplished many tasks, commanded troops, and was also seen as a confidant of the Banshee Queen.
New short stories revealed more about Sylvanas and Nathanos’ past. A small romance between the two during their lifetimes is implied – feelings that, even after their deaths, still resonate at least subtly, although these emotions carry much less significance for the undead.
To further empower Nathanos, Sylvanas even helped him in the short story “The Dark Mirror” to obtain a new body, as his old one was rotting too much. Nathanos’ cousin was captured for this purpose, and Nathanos’ soul was bound into his body. Even today, Nathanos occasionally sees the spirit of his cousin in visions and speaks with him.
Nathanos with a new body in the short story “The Dark Mirror”.
With his new body, Nathanos took on more tasks for the Banshee Queen. In Stormheim, he led the attack on the Alliance. During the Zandalari campaign, he delegated almost all tasks for Horde players. He was also responsible for the defense of Darkshore after the War of Thorns. Here, he faced great champions like Tyrande Whisperwind and Malfurion Stormrage – fights he survived and escaped from.
In the book “Rise of the Shadows”, the prelude to Shadowlands, Nathanos received another task from Sylvanas. He is to ensure, with the help of some allies, that the Loa of Death, Bwonsamdi, is eliminated. The Zandalari Empire is to be destroyed, thereby weakening the Horde.
Nathanos fails at this task, but is saved again from death. Just before the Alliance and Horde can defeat him, he is enveloped in shadows and taken to Sylvanas Windrunner in Icecrown, who had just shattered the Crown of the Lich King.
However, Sylvanas is extremely dissatisfied that Nathanos has failed in his task. She commands him to return to a location and wait – the estate of Marris. Nathanos must die to follow Sylvanas into the Shadowlands, which is practically his punishment for his failure. This is also where the world quest takes place, where players can fight Nathanos during the pre-event.
If you’re interested in more about WoW, you might also find this appealing:
Why is Nathanos so unpopular? Nathanos Blightcaller has developed into an absolute hate character in the eyes of many players in the WoW community over the last expansions. This is due to several reasons:
He always has an annoying, arrogant speech in which he mocks everyone else.
He is constantly haughty, whether towards the Alliance or as a quest giver for Horde players.
He is seen as a sycophant of the Banshee Queen. In the community, he is also referred to as “Sylvanas’ toyboy”. Sometimes, he is even called the “first simp in WoW”.
He has escaped final death multiple times. Whether in Lordaeron, Stormheim, or Darkshore, even heroic characters like Tyrande and Malfurion could not defeat him.
Often, he escapes with the well-known “Enough!” exclamation. WoW bosses often do this when they are at low HP. Then they cast some sort of mass stun, deliver a small monologue, and disappear. This is something that players often criticize as a cheap escape.
Sylvanas’ little “toy” finally gets extinguished.
Nathanos is killed – Just for fun
Some players are really happy that they can finally fight Nathanos. They even kill the undead ranger multiple times, although there is no loot for it – simply for satisfaction. This was even the case weeks ago when Nathanos prematurely appeared in the Plaguelands due to a bug.
In the WoW subreddit, there were several voices explaining that they “have longed to finally kill Nathanos” – they didn’t care whether this would yield loot or not.
Are the players now satisfied? Opinions are mixed here. Many players are happy that they can finally extinguish the life lights of Nathanos to take revenge for all his annoying speeches and “edgy remarks”.
Although not everyone is satisfied since Tyrande “steals” the kill and kills him, many can overlook this because Tyrande looks extremely cool doing it.

Is it finally over with Nathanos? Quite likely not. In the concluding cinematic where Nathanos is killed by Tyrande, he still retains his haughty demeanor. During one of his typical speeches in which he mocks the night warrior, he is killed by her. However, he states that she can kill him because it would send him “directly to Sylvanas”. Through Nathanos’ death, his soul was then sent directly into the Maw and thus into the Shadowlands. It can be assumed that he will appear again in Shadowlands.
The new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War has had its worldwide release, and MeinMMO presents the first reactions to this year’s CoD multiplayer mode.
Since when can you play? The new Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War opened its digital doors for players around the world at 6 AM (November 13).
Some streamers and content creators, however, were able to get in earlier and have been playing the new Black Ops for a few days, but they couldn’t access the multiplayer servers.
Since 3 PM yesterday afternoon, the servers have been open, and regular players in New Zealand were able to play a bit earlier. Some took advantage of this to play earlier. MeinMMO has therefore taken a look around and gathered impressions from the first hours of Cold War for you.
Players plagued by technical issues
What are the players saying? When Cold War went online for everyone this morning, there were some technical problems. PS4 controllers disconnected, some couldn’t access their weapon blueprints, and the first hour was plagued by server issues:
@dedmeat69 on Twitter: “On PS4, all controllers disconnected for me and my 4 friends. You have to restart the console.”
However, the technical problems of the servers do not seem to affect the German/European region. We were able to play right at launch and had no issues connecting to the game or a match. This may be due to the early release. In the USA, servers came online partly still on the evening of November 12, while here at 6 AM, fewer players rushed to the servers.
However, the first hours were accompanied by strong negative feedback. On Twitter, relatively few tweets can be found that speak positively about the release. Veterans know the issues at the launch of a CoD, but that doesn’t make it any better that the servers buckle under the release pressure every year.
Is Warzone a threat to CoD: Cold War?
Listen to the MeinMMO podcast for a discussion about the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Will the integration of Cold War succeed in the successful Warzone?
Many improvements but little new content after beta
What are content creators saying? YouTubers and streamers have been able to access the servers for a bit longer and have been shooting each other with those first bullets. The CoD experts TheXclusiveAce and Drift0r have already published English videos with their first impressions.
This is what TheXclusiveAce says: The YouTuber TheXclusiveAce criticizes on his channel mainly the low number of maps. Cold War only offers 8 multiplayer maps for 6vs6 matches, which he finds too few. Especially since 4 of them were already present in the extensive beta, and 2 are just smaller versions of the 12vs12 maps that also made it into the beta.
He is satisfied with the development since the beta: visibility of enemies, weapon handling, aim assist – many points that bothered him in the beta have shown noticeable improvements. However, he cannot overlook the low content volume at launch and sees this as the biggest issue at release. He states that although CoD MW only offered 6 6vs6 maps, there was sufficient content around it, which he does not feel with Cold War.
Only CoD MW 2019 had fewer 6vs6 maps, but more alternative content. Source: YouTube
He refers to the roadmap of Season 1 and the release of CoD MW in 2019. With the seasons, many maps were added, and shortly after release, hardly anyone spoke of Modern Warfare having so few 6vs6 maps as no other CoD before.
What he sees as negative is the performance of the game on PC. Drift0r recently switched to a dual-PC solution and now uses 2 PCs for streaming – one for gaming and one for streaming. However, even with his powerful PC, which is no longer burdened by streaming, he had problems with his framerate.
Especially on the large ocean map “Armada”, his framerates dropped to as low as 40 FPS, although he had expected at least stable 100 FPS. However, it’s worth mentioning that he chose quite high graphics settings and played at 1440p. Here, too, he expects an improvement with the next patches.
Summary of release impressions
Players are experiencing issues with the servers
The performance on PC could be better
The release content leaves much to be desired
The game has made significant steps in the right direction since the beta
TheXclusiveAce believes that this year at release, you can also recognize the “games-as-a-service” approach of the new CoD generations. The game still feels a bit unpolished for him, just like Modern Warfare did at launch. However, he is optimistic that the state of the game will improve over the next few weeks.
The low content at release could also be somewhat related to the Corona situation, which disrupted many workflows in 2020 and did not spare game developers. However, for players who actively participated in the beta, there are in 6vs6 actually only 2 new maps, which is quite little for a full release.
More information about the release of Cold War can be found here:
Personal conclusion: Better than the beta, but only 2 new maps for 6vs6?
Who is speaking? I am Maik Schneider and mainly work for MeinMMO in the shooter and Call of Duty area. I started with CoD 5 (2008) many years ago in multiplayer and have played every part extensively that has done without robotic features – just like Cold War. Particularly last year, Warzone was my favorite, where I spent hundreds of hours hunting for the next victory.
My wish was fulfilled: I had no server problems this morning, and my controller on PS4 didn’t cause any stress either. What bothered me the most were the many players who were already at a higher level and thus managed much better with the new CoD than I did. Shortly after getting up, I could have imagined something nicer.
But I immediately saw the improvement I wished for compared to the beta – better visibility of opponents. This was, in my opinion, one of the biggest issues during the test phase, as one could not directly recognize enemies in motion in dark areas or backgrounds corresponding to the colors of the operators. This was visibly better, although still not optimal.
Overall, after the first matches, I left the game with a positive feeling and look forward to the weekend to grind through the maps and modes. Even if the new content is indeed rather meager compared to the beta and somewhat diminishes my enjoyment.
In League of Legends, G2 Esports is by far the best team outside of Asia. The organization is headquartered in Berlin: The team consists of the best players in Europe. One of them, the mid-laner and ADC Perkz, is now apparently set to be sold. The amount is said to be up to 5 million US dollars. Perkz is expected to move to Cloud 9.
Update 13.11.: G2 has reportedly reached an agreement with Cloud 9. Perkz is expected to play for the US club in 2021 and transition to the LCS. This has been verbally confirmed, according to Jacob Wolf (via twitter).
The deal will be announced on November 16, when transfers can officially take place. The current mid-laner of Cloud 9, Nisq, is expected to leave the team.
Original report from November 10:
Where does the rumor come from? It comes from Jacob Wolf of ESPN. This is “THE source of information” for transfers and contracts in League of Legends. He is quite reliable when reporting from his “sources”.

However, Wolf states: Currently, there are only talks about whether Perkz will be sold. Nothing is certain yet.
This is what the rumor says: Apparently, G2 and Perkz have sought talks with 6 LoL teams:
Cloud 9
Team Solo Mid
Evil Geniuses
100 Thieves
Team Vitality
and Misfits
Apparently, G2 Esports is looking for a “buyout” of nearly 5 million US dollars. That is about 4.24 million €.
Wolf states: It is still unclear if anyone will accept this deal.
This is understandable: Because the buyout is huge. It is unusual for such high transfer fees to be paid in LoL.
This is Zven, the ADC of Cloud 9. He would reunite with Perkz.
Successor for Bjergsen or new partner of Zven
Which teams are in consideration? According to Wolf, the desired team is supposedly Cloud 9. There, Perkz would switch to the mid lane and form a strong duo alongside Zven in the bot lane. With Vulcan in the support role, they have another strong player on the team.
Zven originally came from G2 and played and won with Perkz in 2016 and 2017. Zven was considered a flop at one point but has rebounded remarkably in 2020. Until Cloud 9 then started to struggle and collapsed before the Worlds 2020.
Team Liquid lost their own star mid-laner Jensen in 2018. Currently, the Belgian Nisqy is playing in the mid lane. He is expected to be replaced by Perkz.
The other 4 teams on the list are more like secondary teams in LoL, which Perkz could help to become relevant and competitive.
Bjergsen is retired. TSM is looking for a replacement.
Perkz holds Record for EU Champion Titles
What makes Perkz special: The 22-year-old Croatian Luka “PerkZ” Perković is actually a trained mid-laner and has always been top-notch in that role. However, he could never surpass the strong Asians with G2 at international tournaments.
Therefore, Perkz switched to the bot lane in 2019 to make room for the Dane Caps at G2 Esports, who then went to the mid lane. G2 became a “super-team,” reaching the finals of the Worlds in 2019 and the semifinals in 2020. Europe finally became competitive and could keep up with the Chinese and Koreans.
Apparently, Perkz is now drawn back to the mid lane. In current LoL, the bot lane is not as influential as it used to be. In the Worlds 2020, the role of junglers proved crucial. The meta has shifted to “carry jungler.” However, the mid lane is still important and the most prestigious position in any LoL team.
What lies behind it: Perkz has been with G2 Esports for 5 years and has been the franchise player of the team. With 8 championship titles in Europe, he holds the record. He is considered incredibly ambitious and driven.
If he actually moves to the USA and achieves a selling price of 5 million $, it would likely be a new record deal. Currently, 1.5 million is considered the top transfer. That’s how much Cloud 9 reportedly spent on the support player Vulcan.
The coach of G2 is the German Fabian “Grabbz” Lohmann.
As a potential “replacement” for Perkz at G2 Esports, a German is considered: Elias “Upset” Lipp (20) could switch to G2, as he is regarded as the rising star in European LoL in recent years.
A move for Perkz to the USA would have a certain taste: In recent years, players have primarily moved to the USA to earn money.
G2 has been together in its current form for 2 years and is considered a close-knit community and a favorite team for many fans. They have an incredible dynamic and harmony in team fights and strong personalities.
At the Worlds 2020, they had their strongest game in the quarterfinals. They not only beat the Koreans from Gen G but completely crushed them.
The top streamer summit1g has recently celebrated successes with the hardcore shooter Escape from Tarkov. But now he announces that he will stop for the time being. The game stresses him out too much, he simply cannot play it anymore.
Who is it about? Jaryd “summit1g” Lazar is one of the largest streamers in the world on Twitch. He has over 5 million followers and is active in shooters like PUBG, Counter-Strike, Valorant, and most recently Escape from Tarkov.
In the Russian hardcore shooter Escape from Tarkov, which is one of the top games on Twitch, he has also produced many streams. Since the game punishes failure particularly harshly by making you lose your hard-earned equipment, there have also been epic outbursts from summit1g while playing.
However popular his Tarkov streams are with fans, they seem to be quite unhealthy for the streamer himself.
“This is a stressful game”
What is the problem? In a recent stream, summit1g announced that he will stop playing Escape from Tarkov for the time being. He stated that the game is just too stressful for him:
Listen, it may be nice to remember EFT, the times when you win and shred the opponent. But the whole time in between, when you get taken out with a shot and have to re-gear, then lose a fight and have to re-gear, and then win a few fights and just be stressed out … This is a stressful game.
There are too many heart attacks. Not to mention the rounds where you just can’t find anyone. You hear gunshots, walk around, can’t find any shit. And then Jomo Scav comes in, shoots at you with a shotgun, almost kills you, and while you’re healing, a three-man team comes by and kills you.

So it sounds like summit1g, who often flips out spectacularly when he fails, does not benefit from playing a game that punishes failure so brutally. Therefore, his decision to stop playing this game for the time being is quite understandable.
Overall, being overwhelmed, stress, and even burnout among professional streamers are serious matters, as the fate of successful CS:GO pro Gla1ve shows. It is all the more important to slow down in time and to prevent it from getting that far.

In Pokémon GO, you can now trade with other players who are several kilometers away. However, this bonus is a test and will therefore only last for a certain period.
What kind of test is this? When you open Pokémon GO on your mobile device, you will immediately be greeted by a message from Niantic. It announces that the trade range has now been increased.
They are testing this to possibly reintroduce the bonus in future events. For this, the developers are now collecting data from the players who use it.
The tests started on November 12 at 23:30. The increased range is scheduled to last until November 16 at 19:00. So you only have a few days to try it out.
Why is Niantic doing this? The increased trade range is a change that trainers have long desired. Due to COVID-19 and the distancing regulations from other people, this topic has come back into focus. It is quite possible that the developers are linking both issues here.
What is the new trade distance?
Trainers notice: After the announcement, trainers immediately took to social networks to report their test results. Because Niantic omitted one piece of information in the event announcement: What distance can they now trade at?
According to player reports, the new distance must be between 10 and 15 kilometers. Reliable details are still being investigated.
In a reddit post, user Scorpionco explains that the limit is 12 kilometers. Even at 12.125 kilometers away from his trading partner, the trade was unsuccessful.
As reddit users report, the Korean announcement from Niantic actually mentions “12 kilometers” as the increased distance. It’s best to try it out for yourself and let us know your results here on MeinMMO in the comments.
It is quite possible that this trade range will be further increased during the tests if Niantic wants to collect more data in this area. Keep in mind that trading some species is more worthwhile than others.
What do you think about this? Do you like this new distance and is it sufficient to trade with players in your vicinity now from a safe distance, or should the distance be increased further?
In Destiny 2, the expansion Beyond Light has just launched. However, next week the Season of the Hunt will kick off properly.

Dealing with Spider from the Tangled Shore to fend off the Hive
What is a season in Destiny 2? Destiny relies on two methods to provide Guardians with new content. Once a year, a major DLC, like Beyond Light, is released. Between the DLCs, there are 4 seasons per year that tell a story but are separate from the DLC.
Seasons provide smaller content bites over a specific period to give you reasons to log in repeatedly.
Season 12 runs until February 2021 – Bungie has confirmed, however, that the FOMO aspect will be reduced: You can still access certain seasonal content even after it ends.
You do not have to purchase Season 12 to play Beyond Light.
Many contents like the seasonal artifact, the Season Pass, or events and even new gear are free for all Destiny players.
However, purchasers of a Season (1,000 Silver – about €10) will receive additional loot from the Season Pass and access to quests or activities.
Are you looking forward to the hunting season finally kicking off, or are you still busy with content from Beyond Light? What do you think of the trailer – did Bungie deliver as usual?
