Today, on November 10, 2020, the Xbox Series X launches. However, there seem to be bigger problems with Xbox services. Players report that logins are not working. Meanwhile, the issue should be resolved.
Update – 8:50 PM: Microsoft announces that the login issue has been resolved. Players should be able to log in and play again.

However, major issues with Xbox’s live service are overshadowing the release.
Many players have been reporting since around 7:00 PM that they cannot log into their Xbox Live accounts. This appears to affect both the Xbox Series X and the older Xbox One.
This is what Microsoft says: According to a tweet from the official Twitter channel, the developers are already working on a solution:

They cannot say exactly when the issue will be resolved. The Twitter channel and the official support page will be updated as soon as the status changes.
The problem does not seem to affect all players. Here on MeinMMO, some users report that they can log in and play without issues.
Error 0xcffff82e – Login issues and solutions
This is the problem: Due to the faulty login, players have no access to the games in their account and some online features.
It is particularly frustrating that these issues coincide with the launch of the Xbox Series X as well as the new Beyond Light expansion for Destiny 2. Both novelties cannot be enjoyed by Xbox players right now.
Is there a solution? Officially, Microsoft is still working on the issue. However, user James Evans has suggested a solution that worked for him (via Twitter):
go to settings and then to “Network”
log out
enter your account details and go back to “Network”
go online again
However, this does not seem to work for all players. Some report that they are logged out again immediately and do not get that far.
When can I expect a solution? Currently, it is still unclear how long the problem will persist. However, the release of the Xbox Series X should increase the pressure to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
While you wait for a solution, you can make use of your time to transfer your games from the Xbox One to the new Xbox Series. We’ll tell you how to do it without a new download:
On the occasion of the release of the brand new Ion Skins in Valorant, we sat down with Producer Preeti Khanolkar and Art Lead Sean Marino to discuss their daily lives and responsibilities. Discover the new skins and the process behind their creation in this exclusive interview.
Several days ago, MGG had the opportunity to meet with Producer Preeti Khanolkar and Art Lead Sean Marino from the Valorant team. They are responsible for the cosmetics in the FPS from Riot Games, such as the brand new Ion Skins, which we can now exclusively showcase.
Their work is extremely valuable to Riot. Their consistency in the quality of cosmetics in Valorant speaks for itself – a look at the Elderflame collection makes this clear. We were curious to learn about the work of Riot’s cosmetic department, so Preeti and Sean generously lent us their time to give us a glimpse behind the scenes.

Where does the inspiration for the Ion Skins come from?
“I would say they are a mix of Iron Man’s armor, Daniel Simon’s automotive design, the motorcycle from TRON, and the bubble ship from the movie Oblivion.
We looked at a number of ‘Industrial Sci-Fi’ inspirations and ultimately focused more on these four examples.”
Has your work on skins changed the look of the base game?
“Yes! We knew we were going to create a wide variety of skins, so it was important that the base weapons meet strict specifications.
All weapons must have a unique shape so that players can recognize them regardless of their skin – the long nose of the Phantom, the round magazine of the Judge, for example – but they must also be as simple as possible so that players can easily interact with them.
That’s why the weapons are matte black and unornamented by default – because they are the perfect blank canvas on which to draw. Ironically, the existence of skins has had a huge impact on skinless weapons.”
Concept for the Operator
How many people work in the cosmetics department?
“We are far fewer than you might think! [Laughs] People perceive Riot as a huge company, but the Valorant team isn’t that large, and when you only count the skin department, there are probably between 20 and 30 of us.”
Concept for the Bucky.
How long did it take to create the Ion Skins?
“One year! We started working on them on November 11, 2019, and they will be available in the shop on November 11, 2020, exactly a year later. It seems like a very long time, but we work on many series of skins at the same time – and creating a series takes a long time!”
Concept for the Phantom.
What is the process for creating a series of skins from start to finish?
“First, we have an idea, like ‘I want Sci-Fi weapons,’ and then we choose a weapon from the game. It could be any weapon, and we try to dress it up according to our idea. Then we draw from a thousand sources of inspiration and test a bunch of skins until this weapon with its skin truly represents the idea we had. This first phase takes two to three months. Then we send the weapon to the rest of the team and tell them to do the same with three or four other weapons.
Once the series is complete, we still have to spend several months testing the skins to ensure they are not pay-to-win or buggy – and there are tons of bugs! For example, we recently introduced the option to carry the weapon on the left side, and we found that the visual effects of the ion weapons remained on the right side when the left-handed option was enabled. We fixed that just in time!
Once everything is running smoothly, we still have to coordinate with marketing to figure out how we will promote the skins, whether we will shoot a promo video and if so, in what style. To get everything perfect, it can easily take a whole year.”
Concept for the Buddies.
If you select three or four weapons for each series, do you choose them based on their popularity?
“Popularity plays a role, yes. That’s why players were surprised at the beginning of Act 1 to receive so many skins for the Guardian. It’s because the Guardian was very popular during the beta phase, so we started preparing multiple skins for it back then.
But we also sometimes choose weapons that are not popular, just because it’s important to distribute skins across all weapons. If all packs contained Phantom/Vandal/Operator skins, players would buy one and never care for the others!
And sometimes just out of artistic sensibility. The Glitch-Hop weapons are not the most popular, but they fit extremely well with the cyberpunk theme of the series. There couldn’t have been any other weapons.”
Concept for the Melee Weapons.
Speaking of Pay-to-Win: Have you ever changed a skin because it was too strong or too weak?
“That happens to us quite often, but contrary to what players might think, it’s often because it’s uncomfortable for them and rarely because it’s pay-to-win. Often you have an incredible idea in your head, but once it’s in the game, there’s too much light and too many colors – players see nothing. It’s horrifying, which is why most skins are scrapped before they come into the game.
Some people say, ‘If I want to buy a skin that looks like a disco ball, that’s my problem,’ but everyone in the game might have to pick up your weapon to get a bullet, so it’s very important that no skin is too eccentric. The exception is the knife. No one can pick up the knife, so there’s usually less concern about embellishing the melee weapon with lots of effects.
This also works with inspections. It’s not necessary to inspect a weapon to play, so we’d like to conduct some really crazy inspections in the future. We also wanted the inspection of the Elderflame skins to work in such a way that the dragon could be scratched and start purring. We wanted the dragon to get angry in one out of a hundred cases and breathe flames in the player’s face. We had many ideas, but we had already spent a lot of time on these skins, so we had to scrap the ideas. In the future, we want to use inspections to let our creativity speak for itself!”
Concept for the Shot Effects.
Are you currently working on something as big as Elderflame?
“Not at the moment. We would love to, and we have many ideas, but it’s not the right time yet.
Are there series of skins inspired by League of Legends?
“It’s very important for us that players understand that Valorant is its own brand with its own world. If we had immediately offered Bilgewater or Demacia skins, it might not have been clear.
In the future, anything is possible, but for now we’re sticking to a few nods in the maps. Nods can function one way or another – have you closely examined the trailer for the skins from League of Legends PsyOps?
Concept for the Operator 2.
Has your work ever been blocked by the performance of the game?
“Unfortunately, yes. For example, we want to allow players to change their skins in every round or equip a random skin each round. However, the game has some rules, especially the one that ensures it runs at least 30 FPS on less powerful machines. If we had to load all the skins every player has in the game, we could never consistently hit 30 FPS.
On the other hand, it has happened to us that we noticed a bug thanks to a performance issue in the game! Once, one of our testers found himself at 10 FPS while running around with a new skin. Eventually, we found out that every time he re-equipped his weapon, the animations were being layered. This was not visible to the naked eye, but due to the chaining between knife and gun, our tester triggered several dozen animations that were running at the same time. The server was not far from crashing!”
Concept for the Phantom 2.
Last question – what is the best-selling skin?
“We don’t know if we have the right to reveal that! [Laughs] The truth is we don’t have the exact numbers, so it doesn’t matter if we try to guess.”
Sean: “I believe it’s Elderflame – it’s the most unique line we’ve made so far.”
Preeti: “I believe it’s Prime – just because that’s the line that arrived first.”
In Genshin Impact there is a new promo code. It provides you again for free with Primogems, the premium currency of the RPG, as well as Hero’s Wit. We at MeinMMO reveal what the code is and how you can redeem it.
What kind of code is this?
The code is GENSHINGIFT – It gives you 50 Primogems and 3 “Hero’s Wit”
How do you redeem the code? To redeem the code, you first need to reach Adventure Rank 10 in the game. Before that, you cannot use promo codes. However, redeeming it is very simple:
Primogems are important for the endgame – Here’s how to get more
What are Primogems? Primogems are the premium currency in the game. You can use them to either utilize the gacha system with the prayers and hope for new characters, or to buy “Original Resin”.
How else can you get Primogems? The fastest and easiest way to get Primogems is by spending real money. For the 50 Primogems included in the code, you would have to spend approximately 1 Euro.
In addition to spending real money, you can also farm Primogems in-game, for example through daily missions, quests, or chests.
The German Minecraft event Craft Attack is entering its 8th round. Since 2013, several YouTubers have gathered each year to compete against each other. In 2020, 50 different players are participating and dominating YouTube in Germany.
What kind of event is this? Craft Attack is the largest Minecraft project in the German-speaking world. There, 50 YouTubers compete against each other and build against the clock. They play in a vanilla world with the “rugged” type. There are huge mountains in the game world.
The players sometimes split into groups to collaborate and build a base together. Building a base is also urgently needed, as the players attack each other. Additionally, there are always special events like the attack of phantoms, which can sometimes even be determined by the viewers.
The YouTuber Trymacs described the event as follows: “There are basically no rules, except: don’t be an ass.”

The YouTuber Trymacs gives an insight into the start of the event.
How long does Craft Attack last? The event lasts not just a few hours, but over several days and weeks, depending on how long the participants stay.
Event dominates German YouTube and is also strong on Twitch
What makes it so interesting? Over 50 YouTubers are participating in Craft Attack 8, including well-known names like rewinside, Gamerstime, Dner, or Trymacs. The latter recently made headlines with the opening of packs worth 4,000 euros in FIFA 21.
On YouTube, various channels reach view counts ranging from thousands to several hundred thousand. In the current German gaming trends on YouTube (as of November 10 at 7:30 PM), two videos are in the top 5.
Trymacs and rewinside both achieve top ranks with the event.
Minecraft is a phenomenon on the video platform. The Let’s Player Gronkh uploaded his first Minecraft video in October 2010. With this game, he was the number one on YouTube for an extended period. And even today, Minecraft videos are simply popular there.
How is the event performing on Twitch? The YouTuber Trymacs started a 72-hour stream together with his group. At its peak, nearly 70,000 watched him simultaneously (via sullygnome).
Overall, Craft Attack is currently also dominating the Minecraft section on Twitch. More than 100,000 people (as of November 10 at 6:15 PM) are watching the German streams on it.
Minecraft brings a new update where Amethyst plays a role.
So, if you enjoy Minecraft and can identify with one or even several of the YouTubers, you should definitely check out the event.
This is the RTTF event: The Road-to-the-Final cards that come into play for the event are directly related to the Champions League and Europa League. Players from teams participating in these European competitions can receive special cards here.
Interestingly, the RTTF cards become stronger the further the player’s team progresses in the competition. A RTTF card can reach true top-level performance on par with TOTS cards (Team of the Season) throughout the season, provided the player’s team advances to the finals of the respective tournament.
Road to the Final – These Europa League players are included
These players are included: The new Europa League RTTF team surprisingly has very few cards. There are only 5 cards in packs, which, however, show a lot of potential.
The RTTF Europa League team
These players are particularly exciting: The most interesting cards are likely to be Aubameyang (88), Ndidi (84), and Renato Sanches (82).
Additionally, there is Atal (82) from OGC Nice available through an SBC.
SBC Atal
These Bundesliga players are included: Only one Bundesliga player made it into the RTTF Europa League team: Moussa Diaby from Bayer Leverkusen. His 84-rated card receives a 3-point upgrade over his standard gold card.
A Korean professional player in League of Legends made derogatory comments during a stream. The punishment from Riot for his behavior was relatively mild. However, his team did not consider the offense to be so harmless.
However, during one of his streams, OnFleek went significantly below the belt while reporting a player from his team. The Korean said translated (according to Ashley Kang on Twitter): “The only good Chinese is a dead Chinese.”

This led to a direct punishment from LoL maker Riot. They imposed a ban of three tournament games and a fine of one million South Korean won (approximately €758.50).
Since this appears to be OnFleek’s first offense, the punishment is relatively harsh for a first violation, but still quite mild. Apparently too mild for his own team.
€758 Fine from Riot – Three Times More from the Team
This is how high his fine is: In addition to the suspension and the fine from Riot, Sandbox Gaming imposed another penalty on their player. This means he will not be able to play in the entire first round of the new 2021 season, the Spring Split.
Furthermore, they apparently felt that the fine was not harsh enough. Sandbox Gaming fined OnFleek an additional three million won (approximately €2,275.20). Even that is likely still a relatively small amount, considering that some teams could buy players for up to $5 million.
What’s next? For OnFleek, it appears that nothing is happening for now. At least not in his team. He will not be able to play for Sandbox Gaming until spring 2021.
Not only OnFleek has something against Chinese players.
It is not exactly clear where his hate for Chinese players comes from. It may just be an impulsive action. However, he is not the only player who incites against Chinese players.
A new cinematic in World of Warcraft is available. Find out here what happens to Nathanos Blightcaller, the Banshee Queen’s right-hand man.
On the American WoW servers, the pre-event of Shadowlands has already started. Players have quickly discovered a new cinematic that revolves around Nathanos Blightcaller. He is a defeat-able enemy in the pre-event and even gets his own small cinematic at the end of the quest line.
Spoiler warning: If you don’t want to know the outcome of the fight against Nathanos, do not continue reading. You have been warned.
Where does the video appear? The cinematic is part of the pre-event for the upcoming expansion Shadowlands. While the Scourge runs rampant and devastates the world, Nathanos Blightcaller has been ordered by Sylvanas Windrunner to “return and wait for instructions.” He is located at the Marris Estate in the Eastern Plaguelands, his old home.

This is seen in the video: The video shows the end of the fight against Nathanos. He is bored of the heroes and keeps them in check easily. But then Tyrande, the Night Warrior, comes in. She overwhelms Nathanos and disarms him, asking about Sylvanas’ whereabouts.
Nathanos answers and reveals that Sylvanas is with “him” (the Jailer). Nathanos asks Tyrande to kill him directly, as that would send him “straight to Sylvanas.” Afterwards, Nathanos taunts Tyrande, which drives her to kill him directly, fulfilling his wish.
Who is Nathanos Blightcaller? Nathanos Blightcaller was the only human to be trained as a ranger by the elves of Quel’Thalas. When the undead Scourge invaded, he became a Forsaken and later served the Banshee Queen Sylvanas Windrunner. He has taken on a larger role in recent expansions. Sylvanas provided him with a new body and made him her top lieutenant, who faithfully executes her orders.

This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.
We show you how to easily transfer games like Red Dead Redemption 2 from your Xbox One (X) to the Xbox Series X or Series S without having to download them completely again.
Have you also been playing on Xbox One for a long time and downloaded some games? Getting the games from the One to the Xbox Series X or Series S is really easy.
In principle, there are four ways that you can use
You install the game via disc
You have a strong internet connection and use it
You use your local network
You have an external storage device
However, in this article, we consider you gamers who have a weak internet connection and cannot just download everything again.
With the disc drive
Admittedly, this method is obvious and straightforward, but we mention it in the article for the sake of completeness. If you purchased the games on disc, just insert them into the drive and install them as usual.
There is a twist though: You need the Xbox Series X for this. Because the Xbox Series S lacks a crucial detail for this method: the drive.
Who is this method for? Users with a fairly strong internet connection and no data cap, or players with a lot of patience.
Do these requirements apply to you? Then the next steps are quite simple.
How does it work? Log in with the Microsoft account on the console that you used to purchase the games or redeem the codes. Once that’s done, navigate to the home screen and proceed as follows:
Open the “My Games & Apps” overview
Now select “Full Library”
Click on “All owned games”
Now simply select the relevant games that you want to download and confirm the installation
Your save games should also be available on the Xbox Series X or Series S. They are automatically saved via Xbox Live.
Find more information about the Xbox Series X here:
Who is this method for? Those who do not have discs or external hard drives for temporary storage and additionally do not want to download the games over the internet can copy the installed games from Xbox One over the network.
How does it work? First, make sure that both consoles are turned on and connected to the same network. Then go to the settings of both consoles one after the other and set the following:
Select “System” under settings
Then click on “Backup and transfer”
Select “Network transfer” now
Confirm the only checkable option “Allow network transfer” here
If the option is activated on both consoles, go back to the “Network transfer” menu of the Xbox Series X. On the right side, you will now find your Xbox One under “Local Consoles”.
Select the Xbox One here. Now you will see a list of games that can be transferred. Keep in mind that games that are not eligible for transfer will be hidden.
Select the games you want to transfer. Then select “Copy selection” on the right side. You will then see the installation process of the copied games, which obtain the installation data over your network.
Depending on the size of the game and the speed of the network, this may take a few minutes or even hours for large games.
With an external hard drive
If you connect an external hard drive with USB 3.0, it should be recognized immediately by the console. However, whether this applies to all models is unclear. We still have to test how this method works with USB sticks.
Who is this method for? For those who do not want to use their disc, the internet, or the network.
How does it work? When you connect the hard drive to the old console, you will first be prompted to format it. This is necessary to be able to store the games on it.
Once the storage device is formatted and you have entered a name for it, you are ready.
Now go to settings
Select System and then “Storage”
There you will now find two options – Internal and External (for External, it is the name you gave the storage device)
Select internal and then “move or copy”
Now you will see a list of the games that you can move
Select the games you want to copy as you did in the network step. Then confirm that you want to move the selected games (this will delete the games on the internal hard drive). Select instead that you want to copy the selection to also keep the games on the internal hard drive
Once the copying or moving is complete, the games will be on the hard drive. Now connect it to the Xbox Series X or Series S.
Select “My Games & Apps” after starting the console. You should now see all the games that are on the internal and external hard drive.
Through the points mentioned above, you can now transfer the games from the external storage to the internal storage. However, if you want to save space on the internal drive, you can also start and play the games from the external storage.
Note: Old games on the external drive may have next-gen upgrades. If you want to use these, you need to install the games on the internal storage or use a €240 storage expansion from Microsoft for that.
Which method will you choose to transfer your old games and what treasures do you want to play on the new Xbox Series X or Series S? Let us know in the comments at MeinMMO.
With the new expansion Beyond Light, Destiny 2 is now opening a new chapter – a decisive one for many players. But how do the developers see it? Is the fate of the game tied to Beyond Light? MeinMMO author Sven Galitzki had a conversation with Bungie about this in an interview.
What is Beyond Light about? With Beyond Light, the new major expansion, as well as Season 12, the 4th year of Destiny 2 begins. And a lot will change in Bungie’s action MMO.
For some players, this new expansion represents a critical point in the history of Destiny. For many, the future of Destiny 2 as a game hangs in the balance.
We took this as an opportunity to ask the studio behind the game some questions about Beyond Light and its significance for Destiny 2 in an interview.
Who is speaking in the interview? In the discussion were Guillaume Colomb, the Narrative Lead at Bungie, and Sven Galitzki, shooter expert from MeinMMO and passionate Guardian.
About the author: Sven has been working at MeinMMO since 2018 and has been intensively covering the shooter genre as an author and responsible expert.
He is a Destiny fan from the beginning and has spent a lot of time in both parts of the franchise. If there is one game that holds a special place in his heart, it’s Destiny. He has also spent countless hours in various “Call of Duty” installments, as well as the Division and Battlefield series.
Bungie revealed to us in the interview about Beyond Light and Destiny 2
MeinMMO: It may feel like Beyond Light is a kind of fresh start for Destiny 2, perhaps a kind of Destiny 2.5. There is a new beginning, a lot of content disappearing, but numerous new content and many innovations are also being added. And this is the first really big thing without Activision. How does Bungie view Beyond Light? How important is it to you?
Guillaume Colomb: I would say that every new expansion is important. Definitely. I wouldn’t say that Beyond Light is Destiny 2.5, but we had a vision of what Destiny should be – a big whole, an action MMO. And since this idea has crystalized out, we try to get closer to it each time. And Beyond Light is definitely a big step in that direction. But it’s not a brand new game, it’s still the same game, but now doing some things better. So we are getting closer to our vision.
And we have already been working on several seasons without Activision, so it’s not our first big thing without Activision. You will see a continuous line from Shadowkeep to Beyond Light, many things will get better – among other things the New Light experience. All of this is something we wanted to do ourselves.
MeinMMO:How has the development gone? Were there, for example, problems where you wished you had the additional power of the two Activision studios available? Or do you see more advantages in being able to make your own game now – especially in relation to Beyond Light?
Guillaume Colomb: I can tell you that the only problem we had with Beyond Light was the major Corona pandemic, which forced us to work from home. This really set Beyond Light’s production apart from everything else we had done so far.
In terms of production, however, it’s always the same. Every major release is the same – we always try to make the best possible game – whether with or without Activision. It’s not really something that hits us directly.
With Beyond Light, Destiny 2 hangs in the balance for many – including the Fallen in the new story
MeinMMO:If you take a look at the community, you see that for many players, especially veterans, everything pretty much hinges on Beyond Light. For them, Destiny 2 stands and falls with this expansion. Do you see it the same way?
Guillaume Colomb: As an established Destiny player, you will know that every year when there is a new expansion, we always hear the same thing from the community. But it’s not something I personally pay much attention to, because we try every time to make the best possible game. We never try to make it worse than we can. We always work ambitiously and try to bring out something that as many people as possible will like.
We also take risks, Destiny has changed a lot over the years. Some things resonate well with players, others less so. I think Beyond Light also carries some risks. But I think if you love Destiny, you will also love Beyond Light. We have also announced other expansions and see a bright future for the game. We are not only looking forward to Beyond Light, but also to what follows in the years to come. We are no more nervous or fearful about Beyond Light than we have been with other major releases in the past.
Beyond Light not only brings fresh gear and exotics but also many changes
MeinMMO:From your own perspective – what are the three most important changes of Beyond Light compared to the previous state of Destiny 2?
Guillaume Colomb: Okay, the first one is definitely Stasis. This has huge implications for players and the sandbox. And it’s really exciting and fun to play – in PvE and also in PvP. We are very curious to see what ways players will discover to use Stasis that we haven’t thought of.
Another major factor will be the Content Vault. However, I don’t think players will immediately feel the associated benefits, as with Beyond Light, they will first see much content disappearing. Some seasons will require patience. Then, for example, the Vault of Glass will return. And for us, this helps enormously for the future to concentrate on certain stories. Because we can’t tell stories everywhere and for everyone. Being able to focus this way will be a big change that will definitely help.
And what’s directly related to that is New Light 2.0. It’s a massive improvement. We are bringing back the Cosmodrome, there is a lot of nostalgia. I think players will really enjoy seeing this location and better understanding the possibilities offered by the Content Vault. The New Light experience we created with Shadowkeep was the best that was possible at the time. But it was also something we wanted to improve and work further on. And now we have a new character – Shaw Han. We have, I don’t want to say a campaign, but a few missions and quests that will really guide new players into the world of Destiny.
These are things that will help us create better stories and expansions in the future.
The new NPC Shaw Han in the Cosmodrome
MeinMMO:While we’re on the subject of nostalgia: How much nostalgia can we still expect? After all, the Content Vault also includes all content from Destiny 1. And we already know that at some point the raid “The Vault of Glass” will return.
Guillaume Colomb: I don’t think we have a specific plan for the next years. We are still exploring possibilities. It took us some time to understand what the Content Vault should ultimately become and encompass. Now we are looking at the stories and content we think will be of most interest to players. So I don’t think we have a roadmap for the content, but everything is basically on the table if we feel it’s the right thing for the game.
MeinMMO:Destiny 2 New Light, the free-to-play experience, will have a fresh start, but also lose a lot of content. Are there plans to mitigate this loss somewhat? Possibly upcoming new content? Are there plans to expand New Light again?
Guillaume Colomb: The New Light experience is an interesting thing. We don’t want it to be too large in terms of time. Because Destiny is a game best played with friends. And if you have a friend who says, “Hey, let’s try Destiny,” you don’t want them to have to play for X hours before you can finally go out together.
We need to find the right length. And with the first New Light, we experimented too much. This time we made it (the beginning) longer and guided players more. Now we will see how the players respond to it. So there could be some changes in the future, but we don’t want to have a huge campaign like “Red War” that took 15-20 hours. That was way too much.
An iconic scene from the “Red War” campaign
MeinMMO:How do you plan to introduce new players to other recurring content from Destiny 1? Most of them probably don’t know how all the stuff fits into the game – for example, with the “Vault of Glass” raid. Is anything planned aside from the new beginning?
Guillaume Colomb: I think new players will come to Destiny because they’re interested in Destiny itself. There is a lot of nostalgia for all Destiny 1 players, but new players might not be aware of that. When it comes to new players, we try to primarily see: What is Destiny today? For that, we make the best possible introduction with New Light. And the content that’s coming back is more aimed at veterans – like the Vault of Glass. We’ll then see if that content fits into the game like we did with the Moon in Shadowkeep. We brought the Moon back, but that was part of the current story. Veterans loved it because it returned, while new players could discover it as a new location. It’s all about where we want to tell a story in the future.
MeinMMO:What is the most exciting thing new players can look forward to in Destiny 2: Beyond Light?
Guillaume Colomb: As I said, I think for new players, Destiny itself will be interesting. I believe that no other game creates such an action MMO feeling – as a hobby, with its own rituals. Many games try to compete, but we still prove: we are still here. As you already said, every year some people feel “Oh, perhaps this will be the year when Destiny 2 is no longer successful.” But every year we are filled with love and talent, creating some new things that players can hold onto, while also bringing in new players – including those who want to keep coming back. It’s this unique “action MMO shooter” aspect that new players can look forward to. Stasis is cool too, but it probably won’t attract new players. That’s more for active players.
MeinMMO:When we talk about that: What are the three most exciting things veterans and existing players can look forward to in Beyond Light?
Guillaume Colomb: Yes, definitely Stasis. As mentioned, this will be a major change to the sandbox that players can look forward to. And they will be surprised at the ways they can use Stasis.
Then of course the return of the Exo Stranger and Variks. If you played Destiny 1, you probably have many open questions about these characters, and in Beyond Light, we will answer many of them. While there will still be some secrets, we will be talking a lot about who the Exo Stranger is, where she comes from, and what she wants.
The Exo Stranger
And finally, all the mysteries surrounding the new location Europa and Clovis Bray. For example, the new raid is the Deep Stone Crypt, which represents a major mystery for veterans. There will be many stories there. And again: we will not unravel all the secrets. There will still be much in the game that players can discover.
MeinMMO:Okay, my last question and I’ll keep it short: Are there any plans beyond the year 2022? After the 3rd planned expansion of Destiny 2? You don’t have to go into detail. Will there still be a Destiny?
Guillaume Colomb: It’s hard to plan (laughs). But I can tell you one thing: When we think about stories, we are already looking at Witch Queen and Lightfall [the 2nd and 3rd expansions after Beyond Light]. But we are not looking at Lightfall in the way that says: Okay, then we are done with Destiny 2. And now we’ll do something else. There will be more stories about Destiny 2 after Lightfall.
The 3 currently confirmed expansions for Destiny 2
We would like to take this opportunity to thank Guillaume Colomb for taking the time for us. And now it’s your turn:
By the way, we will closely follow the release and contents of Beyond Light and Season 12 here on MeinMMO, bringing several articles daily – whether news, specials, guides, or analyses. If you want to stay up to date with Destiny 2, feel free to visit MeinMMO regularly.
This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.
It may sound logical, but it needs training. Focus not only on what is happening in front of you while playing but also try to keep the entire environment in mind.
The mini-map is especially helpful here. Remember the paths your teammates take and pay attention to all displayed enemies. This way, you can classify certain areas as “safe” if a teammate has just run in that direction. But also recognize dangers earlier when their symbol suddenly disappears from the map.
This also goes for enemies. Keep an eye on the map as much as possible, listen to your teammates’ calls, and make your own announcements when you need help or have gone down. All information can help you gain the upper hand over your opponent.
5. Be versatile and try out all playstyles
Try everything the game offers you. iFerg even recommends that you should try out and somewhat master all weapon classes in CoD Mobile before you settle on a favorite class or weapon.
This has a simple reason: If you know how to deal with certain gear, you can counter them better. If you have never held a sniper rifle in your hands, you also don’t know what playstyles an opponent with a sniper might use: How do you dodge best, which enemies are easy to hit, what do I need to watch out for as a sniper? But if you have played with the classes yourself, you can easily answer these questions and also develop counter-strategies.
Moreover, you get to know the gear in the game and can ultimately make a much better decision about what works best for you.
Head to the practice area and train as much as possible. In some situations, no amount of gear will help you if you can’t reliably hit your target. Press the multiplayer mode and change the mode in the lower right corner. Here you will find several training modes under “Practice”.
This point differs slightly from other CoDs. Because on your touchscreen, the controls are particularly difficult to handle, especially at the beginning. Get a mobile controller, play CoD Mobile on PC, or use special techniques to keep full control over your touchscreen. Here you can find more information:
Speaking of hardware solutions – definitely play CoD Mobile with good headphones. Steps, slides, and gunfire are distinctly audible and can help you detect and eliminate opponents faster. Here is a buying guide for gaming headsets.
7. Learn the maps
Another important point, which is more focused on training – map awareness. Take a good look at maps that you don’t know well.
Remember the best camping spots so that no one can surprise you. Recall spawn points to find the most efficient way to the action. Secure cover behind which you can be hard hit.
If you are not familiar with a map, the killcam is particularly valuable here. This way, you not only see your perspective of the map, but also the view of your opponent directly. This can often reveal interesting spots that you may not have thought of yet and use them next time.
8. The Peeking 101
“Peeking” means to “peep” and describes a simple technique where you quickly look around a corner to spot enemies. However, in Call of Duty, this technique goes much further and also describes your movement when you dash around a corner expecting an opponent. iFerg demonstrates 5 types of peeking:
Normal Peek – Briefly look over or around cover to spot an opponent and then open fire
Drop-Shooting – You spot an opponent and drop immediately, then shoot at them
Sliding – Use the slide while running around a corner and fire at the spotted opponent
Jump-Shooting – You jump around a corner and simultaneously shoot at the opponent
Slide-Jump – With the right timing, you can jump right after your slide
For iFerg, the slide-jump is the strongest peek technique in CoD Mobile. If you are looking for tips on execution, we have found the right spot in his English video (9:40 minutes):

The normal peeking is not recommended in CoD Mobile. Unless you are playing CoD Mobile on PC, you will likely always have a wireless connection that typically elevates your ping above the CoD average. This can often lead to situations where you peek around a corner and immediately retreat, but the opponent can still dispatch you because the server has transmitted an unprotected position due to your connection. iFerg also mentions connection values: A ping of 70 ms and lower is considered a good connection, while anything above 100 ms becomes unpleasant.
Otherwise, the peeking techniques are there to make it harder for the opponent to hit you. Whether you slide, drop, jump, or do a combination – you change your character’s position and stance, making it harder for them to hit you. Especially headshots become very difficult to land.
Use these techniques particularly when you know exactly where the opponent is. This way you not only utilize the changes in your position and stance but also benefit from the human reaction time, gaining an advantage over an enemy who may already have you in their sights and is looking your way.
9. Tracking, Pre-Aiming, Crosshair Positioning
Three other small techniques you should master, practice, and use are tracking, pre-aiming, and constantly positioning your crosshair.
Tracking is about following a moving target while firing. This can be tricky because weapons in CoD often come with noticeable recoil that fights against your aiming. Again, practice, practice, practice.
Pre-aiming refers to a method where you aim at a direction where you expect an enemy to come from while already in sight. This is also often referred to as “hard-scoping”, especially with a sniper rifle. This way, you save time when aiming and are ready to shoot as soon as the opponent crosses your line of sight.
It’s also important to constantly adjust your crosshair position. Keep your aim point at the height where you can directly hit your enemies. If possible, at head level. Your crosshair is directly linked to your movement and is therefore always moving. Keep your aim point under control so you are always prepared to fire and don’t waste valuable time bringing the crosshair onto the approaching enemy.
On the practice map, you can experiment and practice tracking.
10. Pay attention to the number and spawns of enemies
This tip is one of the most important tricks you can use in Call of Duty, yet few players think about it. It can especially help you in objective-based modes like Domination or Hardpoint, but also results in more kills in Team Deathmatches.
Pay attention to the number of fallen enemies during an attack. This way, you can assess how much opposition you still have to expect or whether the point is relatively secure. A fallen enemy needs to return from their spawn to the action. Depending on the map’s size, this can take a while. With this knowledge, you can better gauge risks and estimate where enemies might be.
If you also learn to predict spawn points on different maps, nothing can stand in the way of devastating flanking runs. Players who simply play without strategy and take relatively straightforward paths will then have no chance against you. Really no chance – because you will always come from the side and have a pretty good idea of where the team’s reinforcements are moving.
Know the maps, mechanics, and your team – then you will surely achieve victory.
In conclusion, it can be said that much in Call of Duty is practice. Even the best tips and tricks won’t help if you only play once a week and leave the lobby feeling bad. CoD is a fiercely competitive game that demands all your skill. Especially in ranked modes, it gets intense quickly. But even here, the opponents are not unbeatable.
Always stay calm, find friends to play with, and regularly look out for the best weapons and playstyles. Over time, you will get better and can adapt and implement the tips & tricks here even better. If you are just starting out, we have another article for you, which should make it significantly easier for you to get started as a PC player.
Call of Duty: Mobile is a full-fledged CoD for mobile and brings the full shooter action to your smartphone. To increase your chances of victory in every match, you can find some strong tips here on MeinMMO that will improve your gameplay immediately when implemented.
What are these tips? With Call of Duty: Mobile, the CoD franchise made its way to smartphones in 2019 and offers you a complete CoD experience on your mobile device. Just like its counterparts on PC and consoles, you can significantly improve your tactics and gameplay with certain playstyles instead of just shooting without strategy.
The tips you find here are generally applicable to the “Call of Duty” games on larger screens as well. Whether it’s Modern Warfare or Black Ops Cold War. Because in terms of gameplay and mechanics, mobile CoD can keep up with its bigger counterparts.
CoD Mobile: Tips & Tricks for Beginners & Advanced Players
Where do the tips come from? To compile the tips & tricks, we watched tip videos from one of the most well-known “CoD Mobile” players, who was formerly a professional player for the e-sport organization Cloud9 – Luke Fergie aka iFerg.
He became known primarily through his gameplay videos of CoD Mobile and has already showcased 3 pro tips videos since the release, which we have summarized for you here. Here are his videos:
We have packaged his tips into a total of 10 points and expanded them with some of our own experience.
1. Choose the best weapons
This is a basic rule in any CoD, as there are always better and worse weapons. In Call of Duty: Mobile, you have a selection of many weapons, and not all of them perform well.
Therefore, regularly check tier lists and try out the strong, recommended guns. If you have a favorite weapon that unfortunately does not belong to the top tiers: Use the top weapons. You can occasionally use your favored weapon. But to improve, you need the best weapons in CoD Mobile.
Otherwise, you will almost always be at a disadvantage when a strong player faces you in a 1vs1.
Strong weapons are just as important in CoD Mobile as in all other CoDs.
2. Stay calm and relaxed
This tip is very important in PvP games. Whether it’s CoD, FIFA, or League of Legends – you play better with a cool head. If you notice frustration rising in you, take a deep breath, count slowly to 10, or take a break for a round.
Furthermore, the lower the threshold for toxic behavior. You run the risk of becoming offensive and insulting. This weakens your team chemistry when you’re playing with several players, and players who can’t control their language are generally less popular with many teams.
With a relaxed approach, you can maintain better control, have more precise aiming, and can focus better on your tactics and surroundings. This often makes the difference between a cool gaming evening and a session to forget.
3. Choose the right perks for you
Similar rules apply here, as with the weapons. There are perks that are stronger due to their effect, than others. However, there are generally not as strict guidelines as with the weapons. If you like certain perks and they match your playstyle, then use them.
But keep an eye on the strong competition and always ask yourself: “Does my perk provide me with benefits similar to the top perks?” Reflect on your gameplay and think about situations where strong perks might have helped you more than a second grenade (Frag) or a better mini-map (Vigilant).
The following perks are considered strong combos in CoD Mobile:
Fast Recovery – Speeds up the deployment of TP healing by 35%
Faster Recovery – Kills with firearms, melee weapons, and the combat axe grant you health back
Dead Silence – Allows silent movement
With these perks, you can play very aggressively, as almost every kill heals you, and you also recover health faster when you’re shot. Additionally, there’s Dead Silence to help you move quietly across the map.
iFerg counts these perks among the best in CoD Mobile:
Ghost (Green) – Enemy drones cannot detect you
Agility (Red) – Climb faster and scope in faster after sprinting
Hardline (Blue) – Increases your scorestreak points by 25% (strong, but must compete against the over-perk “Dead Silence”)
Flak Jacket (Red) – Reduces explosive damage by 35%, grenade timers reset when thrown back
Fast Recovery (Red) – Speeds up the deployment of TP healing by 35%
Hardiness (Green) – Reduces your flinch when hit by 60%
Dead Silence (Blue) – Allows silent movement
Here you can find the video from iFerg, where he presents his strongest perks in CoD Mobile:

The numerous formations in FIFA 21 can be quite overwhelming. However, one lineup seems to have regained its former strength, the good old 4-2-3-1 formation. We show you why this formation is once again highly effective.
The latest patch for FIFA 21 has really shaken up the gameplay. This has led to various formations (due to the slightly slower game speed) playing differently again.
However, more and more players are now relying on the 4-2-3-1 tactic, which has always been popular in recent FIFA years and has many followers. Keep in mind that there are many good lineups in FIFA 21, and not every playstyle suits every formation.
How to play the 4-2-3-1 formation most effectively
At the start of FIFA 21, the 4-2-3-1 formation was significantly less popular than in previous years. FIFA players preferred formations like the 4-3-3 (2) or the 4-2-1-2-1.
However, it is worth playing the 4-2-3-1 again. FIFA pro STYLO also swears by this formation and explains in a YouTube video why it is effective once again.
Other strong formations recommended by a pro coach can be found here:
Why this lineup is so good: This formation offers, unlike all formations in the game, the best balance between offense and defense. You can attack your opponents with four offensive players in a surprise assault while also having an extremely stable defense with two defensive midfielders, providing additional security in front of the back four.
Additionally, you play with a classic attacking midfielder, who ideally creates many goals.
These player types are needed: For this formation, it is important to fill the positions well, preferably with these player types:
Full-backs: Fast players who are agile and have good physical attributes
Center-backs: Quick and agile defenders with good defensive attributes
Defensive Midfield: You should fill the two defensive midfield positions differently. One position should have a primarily defensive midfielder, while the other can have a midfielder with good offensive skills
Wide Attacking Midfielders: Make sure to have fast wingers in these positions
Central Attacking Midfielder: In this position, a classic number 10 with good passing and dribbling attributes can be used
Important: Do not use this formation as a basis to build your team, as it does not accommodate wingers. You can set it as your tactic and select it at the start of the match using the D-pad.
These instructions should be given to the players:
Full-backs: “Stay back during attacks”
Defensive Midfielder (more defensive): “Block passing lanes”, “Stay back during attacks”, “Cover center”
Wide Attacking Midfielders: “Make crosses into the box”, “Strengthen defense”
Central Attacking Midfielder: “Strengthen defense”
Striker: “Pull wide”
When it comes to the offensive and defensive tactics of this formation, you need to experiment a bit and see what suits you best. Initially, setting the sliders to “Balanced” is a safe choice.
What do you think? Which formation do you feel most comfortable with? Have you tried the 4-2-3-1 in the Weekend League? For more victories in the Weekend League, we have tips for you here.

The new expansion World of Warcraft: Shadowlands adjusts many classes. And although MeinMMO author Benedict Grothaus already knew what would happen to his favorite class, one change has thoroughly ruined his fun.
What kind of class is that? I have been playing the rogue since just before WoW: Legion – mainly because I liked the new “Outlaw” spec so much. Sabers, pistols, and flintlocks, proper pirate flair!
Back then, I already thought the Nightblade skill was great (and fortunately, it’s even returning with Shadowlands), although I think it could have focused a bit more on pistols and range. That would have been innovative.
However, I have almost completely lost interest in Outlaw now. The culprit is a single change that will probably even please many players.
Back during Legion, the “Nightblade” also got beautiful skins.
What is the change? A special skill that came with Legion was the Fate Dice. They provide the rogue with various buffs that make them stronger in combat.
Originally, it was an ability that consumed combo points to apply these buffs with various durations. You could re-roll as often as you wanted.
Since the Pre-Patch 9.0 for World of Warcraft was deployed, the Shadowlands change to the ability is already in the game. It removes the combo point cost of the dice and instead adds a cooldown. By Davy Jones’ stinky beard, why?!
Less gambling, less fun
That’s why the change is bad: The idea behind the change is to remove a bit of the gambling aspect of Outlaw by making the buffs have a fixed duration. And the cooldown can be reset by the passive ability “Restless Blades” anyway. Still, it bothers me massively because:
if I don’t have a buff I need, I have to painstakingly spend combo points to reset the cooldown
the cooldown causes the whole specialization to play a bit less smoothly. Somehow the “flow” is missing
the gambling was part of the fantasy of the Outlaw class. Restricting it doesn’t really fit
I can understand that Outlaw players were annoyed by dealing inconsistent damage and being so dependent on luck. But that is still the case now, and if you get bad rolls, you can’t even re-roll briefly.
Additionally, “Between the Eyes” no longer stuns but only increases the critical damage taken by the target. I see that the stun at range was particularly strong in PvP, but with this change, it’s even more important that the right buffs are present from the dice. If they are missing, the entire rotation has to be unnecessarily prolonged if you want to play efficiently.
Is there no alternative? For Outlaws? Not really. “Chop Up” is now a base skill and must be maintained permanently. Another specialization has become quite attractive: Subtlety.
“Find Weakness” is now easier to apply and maintain on targets. That results in more damage
the cooldowns can be better synchronized, which makes the specialization slightly easier to play and forgives mistakes
the new spell “Black Powder” makes the Subtlety Rogue even attractive in fights against multiple targets
if you are behind the opponent, you are even stronger than before. A perfect bonus for PvE with a good tank
So, anyone wanting to hang up their sabers and is ready to switch to daggers should take a look at the Subtlety Rogue in Shadowlands. For me, however, the rogue is dead for now – I’m switching to the undead!

After the change of my Outlaw, I will switch to Death Knight in Shadowlands. The returning abilities and changes especially for Frost Death Knights appeal to me immensely. In the Beta, the Frost DK plays really well with a two-handed weapon. And when they pull out their “Obliteration” with a big two-handed sword, it really looks impressive.

The video by YouTuber Krucial shows a bit of gameplay of the two-handed Frost DK.
Traditionally, I play a different class as my “main” in each expansion anyway. BfA was the exception with the rogue, which I already played in Legion. So maybe it was time for a change. Besides, my raid group still needs a Death Knight, and since I wanted to switch anyway, it fits well.
As of now, Shadowlands is almost finished. If the gameplay remains the same and maybe some numbers are tweaked, the Death Knight will hopefully become my new favorite. For now, however, the rogue will stay on the sidelines – even if still my main alt.

The indie MMORPG Gloria Victis from Poland continues to thrive in its niche. Now the developers have provided a significant new update for the grim medieval MMORPG. In this update, you can actively manage and further develop a castle.
What is Gloria Victis? This is a grim medieval MMORPG for adults. The game is an indie project from Poland and has been playable on Steam since 2016. It is a rather rough sandbox game where little is explained, and you have to figure out much for yourself. The game world is dark and brutal. NPCs curse heavily, and the battles are bloody.
The game holds a niche on Steam and regularly attracts around 300 players to its servers. Therefore, it was also one of the secret winners on Steam in 2019.

What’s the deal with the castles? Castles that you can besiege have been in Gloria Victis for some time. According to players, sieges are also among the best features of the game. With the new update “Bastions,” the castle system becomes even deeper, and you can directly manage the fortress as a “Castellan”:
You can further enhance the fortresses in detail and thus increase their effectiveness. It is also important to boost the morale of the castle inhabitants to ensure maximum efficiency. This is done by meeting the needs of the castle residents, for example, by providing well-stocked food supplies.
Castles and proper management are now more important than ever.
Fun detail: By keeping the castle cellar full of beer, wine, and spirits, the morale will never drop too low.
On the other hand, PvE enemies nearby and a looming front threaten the well-being of the residents and decrease morale again. So, you’ll need to do a lot of micromanagement and act like a true lord of the castle. Only then will your castle prove maximum efficiency and be optimally usable for your guild’s goals.
The new, big DLC Beyond Light for Destiny 2 is about to be released. We at MeinMMO wanted to know from you before the launch if you will buy this fine piece. Here are your answers.
What was it about? It’s almost time. The next chapter of Destiny 2 starts with the dark DLC Beyond Light, which lures players to the moon Europa.
In a survey we wanted to know from you guys at MeinMMO if you will buy Beyond Light. And you answered us in large numbers.
More than 50% of you have pre-ordered Beyond Light
This is how you voted: The survey ended on November 10th at 12:00. Each reader could cast exactly one vote. A total of 2810 readers participated:
Yes, I even pre-ordered: 56.51%
I will wait and see: 22.38%
No, I definitely will not buy Beyond Light: 14.31%
Yes: 6.8%
Even though Destiny 2 has gone through some turbulent years and seasons, more than half of you decided to pre-order Beyond Light. A total of 63.11% of positive votes were cast for the DLC.
About a third of you, however, remain skeptical. 22.38% want to wait and see how Beyond Light is received. They want to ensure the hype settles down before considering a purchase.
14.31% have firmly decided against Beyond Light. You have extensively posted your reasons for and against the purchase in the comments.
Here you can find more about the new expansion of Destiny 2:
The mood in the comments was a bit more mixed than the survey numbers might suggest.
This is why you are getting Beyond Light: Among the readers who decided to make a purchase, the reasons were often quite simple: Destiny 2 is fun for you and you want to see how it continues in the DLC.
Yes, of course. Pre-ordered a long time ago.
Destiny remains my absolute favorite game. It doesn’t mean I always play it, but I always come back to it.
Players who pre-ordered Beyond Light also reportedly purchased the special or collector’s editions and are looking forward to what awaits them in the DLC.
However, there were also returnees in the comments who had not played Destiny 2 for a long time and are now curious about Beyond Light.
I stopped playing for a year and was very positively surprised by how the game has developed when I cautiously checked in four weeks ago. Now I’m fully back and looking forward to Beyond Light. Let’s see how long it keeps me entertained.
In Beyond Light, you will encounter a new element for the first time: Stasis
This is why you are not getting Beyond Light: However, another part of the MeinMMO readers is cautious. Some want to wait a bit and see what exactly Beyond Light has to offer and how content for Destiny 2 will continue after the DLC.
I will wait to see what content will really be available.
Aside from Europa, I don’t see much. Hardly any new Strikes, PVP maps, etc. Also, the statement that Forsaken-level will never be reached again is dispiriting.
The hype around a new DLC is also cited as a reason for waiting. They want to look at Beyond Light when the excitement has settled:
I will wait until the hype for the season start has calmed down. Three to four weeks should definitely suffice. If the Guardian community is already stuck in “level some seasonal item with seasonal currency” mode again, then it won’t be bought.
Cyberpunk 2077 and AC Valhalla as direct competition for gaming time
But other games also play a role for you. Since November and December have many new releases, not least due to the new consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X, you want to play something else as well. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Cyberpunk 2077 were mentioned as examples.
Another part is disappointed with Destiny 2 and has not been convinced to return to the game by the new DLC.
No. The season model has finally extinguished the light for me.
I do not rule out that I might return at some point, but probably not in the foreseeable future.
The pre-event for the WoW expansion Shadowlands begins. We will reveal what you can get.
The Scourge is knocking at the door in World of Warcraft, as the pre-event for Shadowlands starts. This comes with several quests and cool rewards, some of which are really useful. To ensure you don’t miss the main highlights of the pre-event, we’ll tell you what items are available and how you can get them.
What kind of event is this? The pre-event of the new Shadowlands expansion will roll out over the course of two weeks. Each week there are several quests and plenty of repeatable and farmable tasks to do, including daily quests, rare enemies, and a boss.
What do you get rewards for? The main currency is the “Argentum Tribute”. You mainly earn this by completing the new quest line (which automatically appears in your quest log). In addition, there are a set of daily missions that you can complete in Icecrown. These also reward a small amount of Argentum Tribute. Additionally, you can farm undead in Icecrown, including rare enemies. These drop Scourge Stones, which you can exchange for rewards. So if you want, you can spend the entire day collecting Scourge Stones to get all the items.
Sylvanas has caused trouble – that’s why the Scourge is attacking again.
What items are available? Among the most important items is likely a broom and a pet, as these can only be obtained through the event. They can be purchased from various armor vendors in Stormwind, Orgrimmar, and Icecrown.
Anti-Apocalyptic Broom costs 15 Argentum Tribute and can be used to remove plague puddles from the ground. However, the broom does not count as a toy and remains in the inventory.
Spooky Eitriger costs 20 Argentum Tribute and is a new battle pet. Collectors should not miss out on it.
In addition, there is a full equipment set for each armor class (cloth, leather, chain, and plate) with item level 100. A single item costs 15 badges, and if you want the whole set – for instance as a transmog template – you will have to pay 135 tributes. The set corresponds to the Warfront set from Arathi, but in a previously unused color scheme.
You can get this spook as a pet.
If you want to have all items with one character, you will need 170 Argentum Tribute. If you want all four sets, the number of necessary tributes increases to 575. It makes sense to play the event with multiple characters.
If you’re interested in more about WoW Shadowlands, you might also find this appealing:
Rare loot from rare enemies: In addition to the items mentioned above, there are also some special items that can be left by rare enemies. The rare mobs are bosses from the “Wrath of the Lich King” era. Most items are not particularly interesting, but two of them should be highlighted:
Bronjahm can drop Papa’s like-new bag. This is a unique bag with 34 slots – the largest currently available in the game.
Cursed memento can be dropped by all rare enemies. This item causes a ghost from Torghast to occasionally appear, following the character.
Is there more? Yes. Aside from the items you can obtain by fending off the Scourge, there is also a zombie event happening at the same time. Players can become undead and attack other players to infect them. If they are not healed quickly enough, they will also end up as a zombie after a short incubation period of the plague. This promises two weeks of chaos in the capital cities of Stormwind and Orgrimmar, but it should also be quite a fun endeavor.
There is no escaping the zombies.
How long does the pre-event last? The event is available from November 11 to November 23. It ends at midnight – precisely when the daily reset on November 24 marks the official launch of the “Shadowlands” expansion. So you have just under two weeks to gather all rewards.
Are you looking forward to the pre-event? What items will you get?
American Tyler “Ninja” Blevins became the largest streamer in the world through Fortnite and switched to Mixer for a lot of money in 2019. After the end of Microsoft’s platform, he had to choose whether to go to Twitch or YouTube. Now he explains why he chose Twitch. The controversial YouTuber Logan Paul even played a role in his decision.
Here are the details:
Tyler “Ninja” Blevins was an esports player in Halo and later streamed PUBG and H1Z1. He caught the big “Fortnite” wave in 2017 and rode it on Twitch like no one else. He was also the first streamer to get his own skin in Fortnite.
From 2017 to 2019, Ninja set new standards on Twitch, became the biggest streamer in the world, appeared on talk shows, and was seen with superstars from sports and music. Ninja worked to turn his name into a “brand.”
This is why Ninja went to Twitch: Ninja played Fortnite with Lachlan Power, and the two discussed Twitch and YouTube.
After all, it is an extremely important question for many content creators whether they choose one platform or the other.
Ninja said that YouTube was indeed a possibility. They had “seriously considered” moving to YouTube. Ultimately, however, lifestyle was the deciding factor.
Ninja said:
“Twitch is streaming at the moment. When I do amazing things in gaming and streaming, it has more impact if I do it on Twitch.”
And there’s more: Twitch apparently has a better image and a higher visibility for gaming streamers:
“Just look at the news. No one reports on a YouTuber with a million live views or millions of dollars raised for charity. But whenever someone like Logan Paul screws up, it’s: The YouTuber did this, the YouTuber did that.”
Ninja
Ninja thinks that switching to Twitch will give him greater visibility and apparently prefers to be a “Twitch streamer” and be associated with gaming than to be a YouTuber.
The segment starts at 1:13 minutes:

Who is this Logan Paul? Logan Paul (25) is a big YouTuber in the USA, known for his controversial “prank videos.” He also stages boxing matches on YouTube that attract a lot of attention.
Logan Paul is seen as someone who draws attention with targeted provocations and sometimes appears in poor taste.
Valkyrae (28) is the new showcase streamer for YouTube.
In recent months, YouTube has launched a streaming offensive. One of the pioneers there is Rachael “Valkyrae” Hofstetter. They specifically lured her from Twitch to YouTube because they saw “megastar potential” in her.
Some time after her move, it seems the streamer is now tapping into that potential:
In Fortnite: Battle Royale today, on November 11, Black Widow will be released as a new skin. This is the reward for the next cup from the Marvel Series. We will show you how to unlock the skin.
What is a skin? In Fortnite, various tournaments from Marvel Knockout: Super Series are taking place. As a reward, players always receive a special Marvel skin. The series started with the Daredevil Cup, where you could unlock the Daredevil skin.
Now, in just a few hours, the next cup will take place. The Black Widow skin in winter outfit is up for grabs.
You can win this Black Widow skin in the tournament
How to get the Black Widow skin for free
To earn the skin for free, you must participate in the Black Widow Cup. We will show you how to get involved and what conditions must be met.
When does the cup take place? The Black Widow Cup will start today, Wednesday, November 11 at 18:00. Players will be tested in 4 rounds, so expect a duration of at least 2 hours for the tournament.
How to participate in the Black Widow Cup
What do you have to do? Since this is a duo tournament, you first need a partner to participate in the tournament with you. However, everyone who wants to participate in the cup must meet these conditions:
The Fortnite account must have reached at least Level 30
Important: These conditions apply to both duo partners participating together in the tournament and must therefore be met by both.
What are the rewards?
What can you win for free this time? So far, players have been able to earn a new hero from the Marvel universe and its back bling in all Marvel tournaments. As mentioned above, this time the Black Widow skin is up for grabs.
Only players who place within the top 1,200 will receive the skin for free and before anyone else.
There has already been a set for the Marvel heroine in Fortnite
Can you also get the skin outside of the tournament? If you do not place among the top 1,200 players, you still have a chance to get Black Widow. The reward skin will later appear in the item shop and will then be available to all players. However, they will have to pay for it if they want it.
The very first Fortnite pickaxe is now available for free for all players, without needing to participate in a tournament. We will show you how to get it for free.

In a few days, the PS5 will be released in the first countries and on November 19th also in Germany. However, during the first time, you need to manage your storage well, especially when it comes to games specifically for the PS5. It simply does not make sense to buy an SSD for the PS5. Sony also advises against it.
Why should we wait? As Sony revealed in an extensive FAQ about the PS5, the use of an external hard drive for the PS5 is limited:
You will not be able to store PS5 games on an external USB drive at launch. This will be added later.
In the future, PS5 games will not be playable from any external drive.
What should work in the future is connecting an M.2 SSD drive, which will allow you to store and play PS5 titles. However, this feature will come later and will require specific requirements.
For you, this initially means that you have to store all PS5 games on your internal hard drive. However, the internal hard drive offers only about 667 GB of storage (via GamePro).
What does Sony say about the situation? In the FAQ, Sony emphasizes that you should not purchase an M.2 SSD for now:
No. At the moment, we recommend waiting to purchase M.2 SSD drives intended for use with the PS5 console.
We will release more details about recommended drives in the future. The M.2 SSD storage functionality will be added after launch with an upcoming system software update for the PS5.
What is special about this type of hard drive? M.2 SSDs are particularly fast drives typically connected via PCI-Express.
They do not use the common SATA connections, which are used for other internal hard drives. The current SATA-3 standard allows a transfer rate of 6 Gbit/s. However, higher rates are possible with PCI-Express.
It is currently known that the PS5 supports PCI Express 4.0. You can find all further information about the SSDs for PS5 here:
Does the recommendation also apply to other SSDs? In principle, you can also connect external SSDs that rely on a USB connection. However, you will not be able to store PS5 games on these at launch. This feature is supposed to come later.
Currently, to play PS5 titles, you will necessarily need an M.2 SSD.
How long should you wait to buy an SSD? According to Sony, you should wait until the storage functionality is added with a future patch and until the exact requirements of the hard drive are established.
When Sony shares this information is currently unknown.
What about games for the PS4? For games from the predecessor PS4, the above-mentioned restrictions do not apply.
There, you can use any SSD with a USB connection, connect it to the PS5, and even launch games directly from the external hard drive.
The memory card from Seagate for the Xbox Series X|S.
While Sony cannot currently provide exact information, the competition from Microsoft has already introduced an officially supported storage expansion. This is an SSD hard drive with 1 TB of storage, which has raised eyebrows with its price but has convinced me:
