In Pokémon GO there is a promo code you can enter in December 2020. As a reward, you will receive 41 gifts that you can grab for free.
Here is the code: Surprisingly, Niantic has published a code on Twitter to thank trainers for this year. The promo code is:
TRFJVYZVVV8R4
What gifts are there? This time there are some useful items for you. There are 30 Ultra Balls, 10 Max Revives, and a Lucky Egg. These are all items that you can benefit from sooner or later.
Redeeming the Promo Code on Android and iOS
How to redeem the code on Android: It is quite simple to redeem on these devices. Follow these steps:
Copy the promo code from this article
Open Pokémon GO and select the shop through the Poké Ball at the bottom center of the screen
Scroll to the bottom of the shop – below the coins you will find the field for the promo code
Here you can simply paste and redeem the copied code – The items should then be credited to your account
At the bottom of the shop, you will find this field (only on Android).
How to redeem the promo code on iPhone (iOS): It is a bit trickier here, as there is no field in the shop for promo codes. Proceed as follows:
Log in there with your login details or the Google account you also use for Pokémon GO
A field will then appear where you can paste the promo code – the items should then be credited to your account
How long is the code valid? You can redeem this code until January 1 at 9:00 AM German time. So you can take your time, but you shouldn’t lose sight of the code.
This is why the promo code is important: With the code, you currently receive useful items. Balls are already scarce, especially as due to current restrictions, you often have to play from home.
The Lucky Egg helps you collect XP, as it doubles them for half an hour for all actions. You need XP to reach the new maximum level 50. More information can be found here:
In Destiny 2, players are at risk of missing out on a community event for the first time. Right at Christmas.
As is customary during the Christmas season, the Dawning event is upcoming in Destiny. The Tower is festively decorated, there is snow everywhere, and even a shining Dawning tree delights the players. However, there is a new challenge this year. And right now, it seems like the entire Destiny community is collectively struggling with it.
This is the challenge: In the Dawning 2020, it’s not just about baking delicious cookies and unwrapping gifts for event weapons. The entire Guardian community is supposed to rally together to create a festive spirit.
What sounds like a cliché slogan for the holiday season is a community event in Destiny 2. The Christmas spirit is a tangible resource, and all players must collectively gather 1 billion of it through gifts and activities by the end of the event (according to data miners).
The exact status of the generated Dawning spirit can be tracked by players in their quest inventory. (December 21, 2:00 PM):
As of December 21, 2:00 PM, Guardians are at Moderate Dawning Gifts (green) and 87% of Quest Step 5.
This is why the task is at risk of failing: The much-needed Dawning spirit gradually improves the quality of the Dawning gifts. The rewards improve in the pattern known from weapons and armor, reaching up to the exotic (golden) tier – which is waiting at Quest Step 10.
Currently, Guardians are at Quest Step 5 of 10. The problem: the community has been stuck here for almost 4 days.
Forbes reported on December 19 that Guardians are barely able to raise the spirit bar. They were collectively at 60% and also at Quest Step 5. That corresponds to about 150 million or units of Dawning spirit.
There simply hasn’t been enough good spirit coming in for days.
It is now the morning of December 22, and since yesterday afternoon, we have only reached 96% at Step 5, which is an increase of 9%.
If players continue at this rate, the balance at the end of the event on January 5, 2021, will be around 700 million Dawning spirit, if it exists at all.
Will the Guardians actually lose for the first time at Christmas?
Such community events are nothing new for the Guardians. Some time ago, for example, it was about rebuilding the Lighthouse for the Trials. However, the Guardians were so generous that Bungie allegedly had to raise the set goals. Otherwise, players would have finished the donation marathon too early.
Can the Guardians even lose? This alleged intervention by Bungie is also the reason many players are not overly worried. The motto is: “Bungie will never let the Guardians lose – they will lower the threshold just before the end.”
Another reason that still gives players hope is that most Guardians are only slowly unlocking their special Dawning ship. This exotic ship can be upgraded in multiple tiers, generating more Dawning spirit.
This way, there is more spirit yield for delivering gifts and completing bounties.
This is the question: It is now uncertain whether the Guardians will suddenly be filled with zeal as the event duration progresses and generate enough Dawning spirit to be able to unwrap exotic gifts. Or whether day by day the Grinch will take over and the community will fail for the first time – right at the season of goodwill.

What do you think, do you still feel like baking cookies or is your willingness currently not that high? Do you think Bungie would actually let the Guardians fail? Let us know in the comments.
Pokémon GO has announced the Community Day in January. It will focus on Machop and bring a Stardust bonus. We provide the overview.
When does the Community Day start? The event will take place on Saturday, January 16, 2021. There is no exact time yet, but it will likely be from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Machop will have its first Community Day and every trainer should take advantage of the event.
All info on the Community Day with Machop
What bonuses are there? Besides the numerous Machop spawns, there will be the following bonuses:
Triple amount of Stardust for caught Pokémon
3-hour incense
Machamp learns the exclusive move Counter
What about Shiny Machop? This Shiny already exists in Pokémon GO and will of course be available on Community Day. You can easily recognize the Shiny as it is green instead of blue-gray.
Why is the event worth it? Machamp is one of the best fighting attackers in the game. Every trainer should have several examples at max level.
Since the level cap increase, it has become tricky as you need XL candies, which are hard to obtain. Now, some of these candies can be obtained during the Community Day, allowing players to possibly bring some examples to level 50.
For trainers who are not yet at level 40, standard Machop candies are also useful. This way, you can bring several Machamp to your max level.
Besides the XL candies, the Stardust bonus is important. Only with enough Stardust can you bring your monsters to max level. During the event, you therefore have the best opportunities for plenty of Stardust.
However, there is still almost a month until the Community Day starts. The next event will be the Christmas event:
In Fortnite, a new vehicle might soon arrive: Cars with turrets have been found in the game files and could soon cause a stir.
Data miners share: VastBlast, a data miner who regularly shares leaks about Fortnite, showed an excerpt from the game files. It reads “AFortDagwoodVehicle:ApplyVehicleModMountedGun”.
This translates to a vehicle that carries a turret. Such cars are known from various shooters, but there hasn’t been anything like that in Fortnite yet. That might change soon.
Now there are various kinds of cars in Fortnite, and a vehicle with a turret could fit in as well. The only question is whether the community will react positively or whether such a vehicle will quickly be labeled as overpowered.
It remains to be seen what Epic Games will come up with and whether such a vehicle will actually debut in the Battle Royale. Stressful rounds would certainly be inevitable.
Until then, you first have to dance in front of Christmas trees. Where you can do that, you can find out here:
The genre “online loot shooter” or “MMO shooter” was considered a new trend in online gaming a few years ago. However, over the past few years, some hopes have been dashed. 2020 saw two major expansions for the loot shooters, but little innovation. Where do the loot shooters Destiny 2, Anthem and The Division 2 stand before the year 2021?
This is the genre: The genre of loot shooters is essentially “Diablo as a shooter.” Players collect increasingly powerful gear by killing enemies, who in turn drop stronger gear.
The gameplay relies on shooter elements, enriched by abilities, the skills. It primarily depends on agility, accuracy, and coordination with teammates. The customization of one’s character, the “build”, also plays a crucial role. There’s a special allure in continuously collecting better items and developing the character according to one’s playstyle and preferences.
The trailblazer of the genre is Borderlands (2009). The current generation of online loot shooters began about 6 years ago:
In 2014, the SF shooter Destiny was released – 2017 saw the release of its successor Destiny 2
In 2016, the dystopian tactical shooter The Division was released – 2019 saw the follow-up The Division 2
2019 saw the release of Anthem, an online shooter in a sci-fi world
Today, we look at where the three titles stand before 2021.
Beyond Light was the highlight of Destiny 2, but arrived late in 2020.
Destiny 2
This happened in 2020 with Destiny 2: For the most famous and largest loot shooter, Destiny 2, everything in 2020 revolved around the release of the annual autumn expansion. However, the release of “Beyond Light” was postponed due to the outbreak of the Corona pandemic to November 10, 2020.
Until then, there was mainly everyday fare: Destiny 2 relies on a season model instead of previous DLCs. The seasons bring a few new items, activities, and content to bridge the time until the next, larger expansion. Through time locks and extensive grind, Bungie artificially prolongs the content: The three months of a season must be filled somehow.
Many of these elements rely on the “FOMO” effect (Fear of Missing Out): Either you play the events at release when they are relevant, or you miss them and they drop out.
This, however, takes away some of the already limited development time of the team for elements that do not enrich Destiny 2 in the long run, but merely offer a momentary reason to visit the world of Destiny 2. Bungie has already announced that they will move away from this concept in the future, but in 2020, FOMO and the grinding of the seasonal content were defining for Destiny 2.
Hundreds of thousands watched the All Might event in Destiny 2.
In everyday life, players in Destiny 2 found this mix too grindy. The year 2020 felt like Bungie was stretching little new content far too thin. The last season, season 10, dragged on endlessly due to the delay of “Beyond Light”. In September, October – normally the peak season of Destiny – morale hit a low. There was simply nothing more to do.
“Beyond Light” was supposed to usher in a new era of Destiny 2 in November. With “Stasis”, a new damage type was introduced and with Stasis, new subclasses joined the shooter.
This is the state of Destiny 2 before 2021: Disappointment has set in. Bungie has produced a lot in recent years but has hit little:
The Free2Play model could only provide a brief upswing, now Bungie has removed many free contents.
The idea of “removing content from the game” was not well received by many. This received massive criticism, which Bungie denied, but it seems that the critics were right: Destiny now lacks content and rewards.
Reviving PvP with the Trials of Osiris and turning to Twitch worked only moderately well. Certain Twitch actions made big streamers like Gladd happy and brought him a rain of money, but from the top spots on Twitch, Destiny 2 is still far away.
He earned €60,000 in 30 hours with a Twitch action from Bungie.
The last major highlight in Destiny 2 came in 2018 with Forsaken. After the split from Activision Blizzard, Bungie announced that “a new era in Destiny 2” had begun. At first glance, this sounded like a departure into new territories: they no longer wanted to make compromises.
It is suspected that Activision Blizzard pressured for the release of a Destiny 3, while Bungie preferred to continue working on Destiny 2.
After the separation, Bungie can now freely determine the fate of Destiny 2.
In reality, this also means that now fewer people are working on Destiny 2 than before and at Bungie they have to bake smaller rolls. This is because Activision Blizzard had sent Bungie two supporting studios, Highmoon Studios and Vicarious Visions, to help and had taken much work off their hands in publishing – all of this fell away in 2019 with the separation from Activision Blizzard.
Before the release of Beyond Light in November 2020, franchise head Luke Smith even admitted that it is unlikely Bungie will ever deliver anything on the scale of “Forsaken” again.
Destiny 2 continues to feature outstanding gameplay and leads the genre. However, it also carries some problems that have not been solved for years: What can players do in Destiny 2 when there is no new add-on available that offers a campaign, new items, and rewards? Bungie must answer this question, and they are still struggling with it in year 6.
Compared to Destiny 1, PvP and raids are less frequented, which impacts long-term motivation.
It is becoming increasingly clear that Destiny 2 requires a massive effort to provide enough content and items to keep hardcore players engaged. In 2018, Bungie still had help from Activision’s supporting studios; in 2021, they will have to manage it alone. Perhaps new people like Joe Blackburn can provide ideas here that make up for the missing working hours. It is to be hoped that the game and the Bungie team can come up with solutions to compensate for the loss of labor.
Brian Feeney, the Design Director of Wild Rift, spoke in an interview about the future of the MOBA. Topics included a mode with fixed role selection and future champions. Feeney revealed that champions could also come to Wild Rift that do not exist in League of Legends.
What did the developer reveal? The interview from the Spanish website Areajugones revolved around the present and future of Wild Rift:
The developers plan to release champions faster than on PC, but not every week. They want to land somewhere in the middle.
Initially, there will be champions that are already available on PC. However, the developers are also open to original creations.
A role selection for matches is already in the works.
The console version is important to the developers, but there are no new details yet.
Feeney also revealed that there are no concrete goals for when the mobile MOBA will leave beta status. The important thing is that the game should be smoothly playable in all regions, and no emergency patch should be needed.
New champions that do not exist in LoL
What exactly did Feeney say about the champions? In the interview, the Design Director revealed that the developers are open to designing exclusive champions only for Wild Rift, but not immediately:
We are open to releasing new and exclusive champions for Wild Rift. This is something that has been in planning for a while […]. We know that we have the space to grow beyond what is possible in LoL on PC. So we are definitely very open to developing Wild Rift champions that do not exist on PC.
The catch is that we know we currently do not have enough champions from the PC version. So our first priority is to ensure that we deliver a lot of champions that we feel we are actually missing.
Even at the preview event for Wild Rift, the developers told MeinMMO that some champions from the PC version of LoL may never arrive in Wild Rift. Their ability kits do not fit a mobile control scheme. Therefore, it makes sense to directly design champions that fit the twin-stick controls.

In the future, champions should be released faster than on PC (6 per year), but not every week. Additionally, simultaneous releases with the PC version are possible, though this may not work for every champion.
Feeney revealed that the developers are already working on a role selection that had to be postponed before the beta launch. The new role selection is supposed to differ somewhat from the PC version and will be released when it is ready.
It should, however, be released before the end of the beta.
It often happens that you suddenly play with 3 characters of the same role, like here with 3 AD carries.
What’s the status of E-sports? E-sports is also to be promoted in Wild Rift. However, the developers state that they are approaching the topic carefully because they do not know how great the demand will actually be.
Replays and a spectator mode are already in the works. Precise details on E-sports are expected in early 2021.
Wild Rift quickly became one of the most popular games on smartphones shortly after launch. We at MeinMMO have also compiled more interesting mobile PvP titles for you:
Here’s what you need to do for the blueprint: You need to dive into the zombie chaos and complete a task. This is how it works:
Gather snowballs on the map
Throw snowballs at the zombies and freeze them
Quickly eliminate the frozen zombies after that
Repeat this process with 25 zombies and then the blueprint will unlock
Throwing the snowballs can be quite challenging and takes some practice. However, once you get the hang of it, you can complete the task quickly.
However, keep in mind that you must eliminate the zombies immediately after throwing the snowball. If you take too long, the task may not count.
Here’s how you can easily complete the task: We recommend that you complete it at the very start of the round. The zombies there are still relatively easy to defeat and there aren’t as many of the undead enemies.
The more waves you survive, the harder it gets. Surviving without snowballs becomes quite difficult.
Which players can pick up the blueprint? So far, the offer seems to be available only for PlayStation 4 and 5 players. There are no reports of this being available on other platforms.
What kind of blueprint is this? The blueprint is for the sniper rifle LW3 and is called “Bronzewood” in English.
The LW3 is currently not considered the best sniper in the season, but it is a strong alternative. The sniper excels in one-shot kills, because it has a large area you can hit on the enemy to take them down immediately.
So it is definitely worth securing the free blueprint now, as the Christmas zombie event will not be active for much longer.
If the winter zombie event has put you in the Christmas spirit, you can also look for good gift ideas:
The first guilds have reached the final boss Lord Denathrius in WoW. But who will get the World First Kill of the leader of Revendreth?
In World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, the “World First” race is currently on in the first raid Castle Nathria. After several guilds gathered at 8/10 bosses yesterday, the American guild Complexity Limit has now surged ahead. They were the first to defeat the Generals of the Stone Legion on Mythic and are now facing the final boss – Lord Denathrius.
What is the current status? Complexity Limit managed to be the first guild to defeat the Generals of the Stone Legion and thus attack the last boss of Castle Nathria. In the meantime, Echo has also caught up and was able to defeat the Generals of the Stone Legion as well. So now two guilds are working on the current final boss Lord Denathrius.
Limit leads, but Echo was able to catch up quickly. Image source: wowprogress.com (As of: 21.12.2020, 15:30)
In 3rd place is currently the European guild Pieces with 8 out of 10 bosses defeated. After that, there’s a whole bunch of guilds that have now defeated 7 out of 10 bosses. This also includes well-known names like Method, Aversion, FatSharkYes, or Exorsus.
The race remains exciting.
Generals lasted longer than N’Zoth
Interestingly, the Generals of the Stone Legion lasted longer in Mythic mode than N’Zoth, the final boss of the last raid – at least when counting the pure number of attempts. N’Zoth was killed after “only” 274 attempts, while the Generals of the Stone Legion needed 292 attempts to be defeated.

This was mainly because the Generals of the Stone Legion still had several bugs that needed to be fixed live by the developers. Some mechanics were simply impossible to play and caused damage spikes that knocked individual players out of the game with no chance to react. After these errors were fixed, the boss then fell that same night.
Now it’s on to Lord Denathrius.
Denathrius could keep players busy for a while.
Is there a secret phase with Denathrius? Yes. In World of Warcraft, it regularly occurs that the final boss of a raid has a secret phase that is only available in Mythic mode. This phase is “hidden,” usually not publicly tested, and even the adventure guide has only vague information about it.
More news about WoW: Shadowlands can be found here:
The secret phase apparently involves the use of mirrors. They play an important role in Revendreth and Castle Nathria as they serve as teleporters. Dataminers have already read out a few effects from the game data. There seem to be several phases that players must split into. However, players must be careful not to touch each other in the different phases, as this will lead to instant death.
Exact details will likely be available as soon as guilds can showcase their first really good attempts on Denathrius.
Are you following the race for the World First Kill? Do you hope that one of the EU guilds can catch up? Or are you fully backing Limit?

Are there new shinies? So far, nothing is known. The costume forms of Pikachu, Petznief, and Botogel have not been announced as shiny, but all 3 monsters are already available in their normal forms as shiny. Therefore, one could expect their shiny forms.

The most interesting offers from December 20
Before Christmas, there are plenty of interesting deals for gamers. Since Monday, “Last-Minute” offers have been running at Amazon, for example, and MediaMarkt has an advent calendar. We present the most interesting offers from December 20, 2020.
BLUE MICROPHONES Yeti Blackout
This tabletop microphone is a very robust and versatile microphone for gamers and streamers. The microphone offers
high build quality
stable stand
precise sound
thanks to plug-and-play, the device is also ready to use immediately.
It is advantageous that you can change the microphone’s polar pattern (omnidirectional, cardioid, bidirectional, stereo) at any time.
Due to the USB connection, the microphone has relatively high self-noise. Therefore, the microphone is less suitable if you want to record quiet sounds or instruments, making it less suitable for professional use or singing.
However, if you are looking for a good microphone for streams, podcasts, or gaming, you should check out the Blue Yeti Blackout.
The microphone currently costs €119.89 at MediaMarkt and Saturn (€139.82), saving you 14%. According to Geizhals.de, this is currently the best offer for the microphone available.
The gaming keyboard from Corsair offers you good Viola switches from Cherry, providing a similarly precise keystroke as mechanical switches. The keyboard is of high quality and features not only a stable aluminum case but also bright RGB lighting. You can customize all keys individually. For this, you need Corsair’s iCue software, through which you can also control the lighting.
The gaming keyboard lacks a wrist rest and offers relatively few functions for a fairly high price. For example, the keyboard does not provide media control keys or additional special keys.
In the current bundle at MediaMarkt, you also get Corsair’s M65 RGB Elite with the keyboard. This is a top mouse for shooters with an excellent sensor, which you can also find in our buying guide for the best gaming mice. This usually costs you around €70. If you are looking for a good gaming keyboard and a very good gaming mouse for shooters, then you should check out the gaming package.
For the bundle, you currently pay €135.50 at MediaMarkt for the gaming keyboard and get the M65 RGB Elite worth €59.45 without any extra charge.
The gaming mouse from the manufacturer Roccat offers you great ergonomics and sits comfortably in the hand due to its pleasant material. It also does not get dirty easily. In our best gaming mice 2020, the Roccat Kone Aimo Remastered is considered the editor’s recommendation.
The Kone Aimo Remastered offers a successful overall picture of hardware, design, and haptics. The software is less successful and has some flaws. It also takes a bit of time to get used to the many functions of the software. The high weight of the gaming mouse (130 grams) may also not be to everyone’s liking. However, it’s worth looking at our review of the Roccat Burst Pro. This offers a similarly strong sensor but weighs only 68 grams, which is half.
If you are looking for a very good gaming mouse with minor weaknesses, you should definitely check out the Roccat Kone Remastered. Especially at a price below €60, you can’t go wrong.
Both on Amazon and at Saturn, the gaming mouse is currently priced at €57.51 (€79.99), saving you 28% compared to the normal price. According to Geizhals.de, you can’t get the mouse cheaper at the moment.
Oops, unfortunately this affiliate widget is no longer available.
Corsair HS60 Pro
The gaming headset from Corsair offers you not only high wearing comfort and decent build quality but also good sound quality. The headset is suitable for all games equally; you can properly locate opponents, and the device also offers a decent microphone.
Good as well is the hardware support for consoles, thanks to the jack-to-USB 2.0 adapter that comes with the headset.
The high and mid frequencies lack some detail, and the surround sound is mainly suitable for movies and less for gaming.
If you are looking for a good all-rounder in terms of sound and quality and can overlook a few details in the high-frequency range, you should consider the Corsair HS60 Pro. According to Hardwareluxx, you get a lot of headset for your money.
At Alternate, you can currently get the gaming headset as a daily deal. You currently pay €42.90 (€69.90), which means you save 38.6%.
More exciting offers: If you are still looking for games for your PC or console, then you should check out the current offer at Amazon. There are currently 3 games for the price of 2. The offer runs until December 21. Here you can find some interesting games for the cold season:

What’s new in PSO: New Genesis? Essentially, New Genesis could be called a sequel, but it’s not named Phantasy Star Online 3. There’s a lot that’s new, so you can expect basically a different and new game:

You encounter more players in the world
The class system is revised

With Open World to MMORPG
What exactly does the open world offer? The developers refer to the open world of Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis as “Open Field.” It is a very large, open zone with a lot to discover.
World events take place where you need the help of other players
You complete quests in the Open Field
You can find cocoons that lead you to instances just for you and your group
There is a big city, Central City, that functions as a hub. There you can find 100 players per server.
In Central City you access quests, team up with other players, trade, and engage in crafting.
You can swim to reach certain places in the Open Field.
There are teleporters, the Ryuker Devices, which allow you to shorten routes.

This is what the gameplay looks like in the open world of PSO 2: New Genesis.
So is Phantasy Star Online 2 with New Genesis an MMORPG? Until now, you have been in smaller areas in PSO 2 and can explore these in the group you have assembled in the hub. However, you do not encounter other players in the zones. There aren’t really any world events where you need the help of other players.
With the open world, foreign players, more exploration, world events, and teleporters, Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is now much closer to being an MMORPG. Whether it will truly become an MMO and play like one remains to be seen.
What else is interesting? PSO 2: New Genesis allows you to jump back and forth between the “old” Phantasy Star Online 2 and the new version. Therefore, it is also possible to transfer your character from PSO 2 – at least partially.
The graphics of the “old” PSO 2 will be improved to prevent any visual break during the transition.
When does PSO 2: New Genesis start? A closed beta is planned for late January or early February in Japan. The release of the online role-playing game is supposed to occur globally sometime later in 2021 on PC and Xbox One as well as Xbox Series X/S.
The two streamers DrDisrespect (38) and xQc (25) are jokingly in a dispute about the idea of what gaming and entertainment really are in 2020. xQc is having great success on Twitch with Bloons TD 6, a tower defense game for PC and mobile. This does not sit well with the gaming purist DrDisrespect at all. However, xQc accuses the older streamer of being out of touch with the times.
xQc is the rising star on the streaming platform. In 2018, he played a minor role on Twitch (9600 viewers on average), became bigger in 2019 (17,800 viewers), and is the most successful streamer on the platform in 2020 (39,000 viewers).
Hot guy: xQc is the big winner on Twitch in 2020.
The former Overwatch pro started with shooters, but now his channel offers a wild mix of games.
xQc jumps from reaction videos to any games. He plays practically everything and has no scruples. Nothing is too niche or too weird for him: He plays “The Game of Life,” some “Four in a Row”-variants with virtual school friends (and gets banned for it) or a tower defense mobile game. What he plays doesn’t really matter.
The former “Call of Duty” designer appears as a macho character and is considered a gifted entertainer who provides his audience with elaborately produced videos and sets. He is also a strong shooter player, though not as outstanding world-class as he often portrays himself.
Until his ban, DrDisrespect was one of the biggest Twitch streamers.
Even though he has brought many new impulses to Twitch in the field of entertainment in recent years, DrDisrespect is a purist when it comes to gaming like many gamers of his generation. He takes pride in his huge and expensive PC setup and primarily plays the big AAA shooters like Call of Duty: Warzone. For weeks, he plays the same games and hardly varies. He outright rejects mobile gaming, stating it is not real gaming.
“xQc, are you kidding me?”
This is the conflict now: xQc simply plays everything on Twitch. He caught “Bloons TD 6” and showcased the colorful tower defense game in a stream, where he peaked at over 57,000 viewers.
DrDisrespect apparently couldn’t handle this at all. In a Twitter video, he stares in disbelief at the camera while xQc shows Bloons in the background: “xQc, you have 60,000 people watching you play Bloons Tenacious Distraction Six – or whatever it’s called. Are you kidding me?”
xQc then imitates DrDisrespect, portraying him as he clumsily danced around and boasted about his arena. xQc explains: Entertainment is changing. “The boomer DrDisrespect” needs to adapt to the times.

xQc vs. DrDisrespect: 13 years age difference is noticeable
This is what’s behind it: Even though the conflict is surely meant in jest, two concepts are opposing each other here. xQc and DrDisrespect are two of the exceptional streamers on Twitch over the past five years.
There are some similarities:
Both are primarily entertainers who have recognized that viewers want more than just watching one guy or girl play a game
Both streamers are characterized by their flamboyant personalities and stand out strongly from the crowd. DrDisrespect has created his own character. xQc is his own brand with his hyperactive way of speaking and moving
Both streamers rely on interaction with the chat and engage their viewers
Both streamers polarize strongly; they have their fans, but also many who can’t relate to them – both leave few indifferent
Both streamers are independently successful regardless of games. They do not have “the one game” like Tfue or Ninja with Fortnite that makes them successful, but are variety streamers
DrDisrespect opts for a classic performance; some segments of his show are prepared and presented to the audience – xQc improvises more and is a bundle of energy that continuously engages with the chat
Whereas in DrDisrespect’s case, the game and his performance in it always play an important role, it seems that for xQc, gaming itself recedes into the background and merely serves as a basis to keep the show running
Conflict shows the difference between generations
The two streamers xQc (25) and DrDisrespect (38) represent two generations of gamers in their dispute. For the older generation, something like “mobile gaming” or casual gaming is something that has little or nothing to do with their hobby. For someone like xQc or younger players who grew up with smartphones, these boundaries are increasingly blurring.
The world still wonders why Dr Disrespect was banned.
DrDisrespect’s ban on Twitch in 2020 was one of the major topics on the platform. Even in the autumn, the ban still had repercussions. Because the seemingly indestructible streamer was privately hit hard by the ban, as he explained:
A technical alpha of the mobile hack ‘n slay Diablo Immortal has started in Australia. But when will we be able to play?
Who is the alpha of Diablo Immortal for? Blizzard initially wanted to start the test of the free-to-play action RPG in just one region and chose Australia.
A small number of players who pre-registered in Australia received the Diablo Immortal alpha APK of the game for download and can now test the action RPG.
How many players were selected? According to Blizzard, several thousand players are to be selected. An exact number has not been mentioned.

We still have to wait for Diablo Immortal
Can people outside of Australia participate as well? Some representatives of the gaming press and streamers have received access from Blizzard. For example, our colleagues from GameStar were able to play Diablo Immortal. You can read the preview report on the GameStar website.
How can you register in this country? You can pre-register in the Google Play Store. There, simply click on the “Pre-register” button from your smartphone. Once a test starts or the release of the action RPG takes place, you will be informed.
It is currently not possible via the Apple App Store.
When you can play is still undecided. Blizzard has not yet provided any dates for further tests or the launch of the game.
How long will the test last? It is planned to keep the testers in the game for several weeks to gather enough feedback. The main focus is on the stability of the servers and the performance of the hack and slay.

The Twitch streamer Jaryd “summit1g” Lazard decided not to play Cyberpunk 2077 at release because he accurately anticipated that there would still be many bugs in the game. However, he doesn’t gain much from this assessment, as other streamers benefit greatly from the hype surrounding the polarizing game. But the hype was short-lived.
This was summit1g’s assessment of Cyberpunk 2077: The 33-year-old American summit1g is a longtime streamer on Twitch. Together with xQc, he is the hard worker among the top streamers, who stream more frequently and for longer than their colleagues. The streamer was repeatedly asked whether he would also play Cyberpunk 2077.
But summit1g waved it off. He said:
I think I’ll skip it at release and play it another time. From my experience: If you give a game a little time, a few months to release updates, you’ll play a better version later.
summit1g
summit1g maintained that assessment at release, when Cyberpunk generated so much hype. He said he had seen the game played by shroud and xQc, but he stuck to his decision not to play it.
Those who want to see it should watch other “motherfuckers” play Cyberpunk 2077.
As we know today, summit1g had a good instinct: After a lot of hype at release and great review ratings, reality set in quickly. Cyberpunk 2077 seemed unfinished and suffered from many bugs. Sony even removed the game from the PS Store.
summit1g was playing mainly the hardcore shooter Escape from Tarkov in the last days. On average, about 20,000 people watched him, which corresponds roughly to his usual level.
He is the big winner in Cyberpunk because he fully embraced the hype: shroud.
These are the big winners of Cyberpunk 2077 on Twitch
Who are the winners of Cyberpunk 2077 on Twitch? But summit1g remained an exception with his refusal to play the new game. Because even though Cyberpunk 2077 showed many problems at release, there were some streamers who fully jumped on the Cyberpunk bandwagon and were able to benefit greatly.
The most successful Twitch streamer for Cyberpunk 2077 is shroud. He played for 42 hours, and an average of 60,350 people watched him. Especially at release, he achieved record numbers. In his first stream, he had an average of 95,602 viewers and peaked at 128,407. Thus, he is one of the big winners.
The most successful clip from shroud regarding Cyberpunk 2077 revolves around a special feature in character creation:

A higher peak was reached by the Spanish channel of Rubius. He had 131,633 viewers at release. The Spanish-speaking Twitch isn’t as prominently on our radar in Germany, but it is a huge market for Twitch.
Optimal for his channel, the Twitch veteran CohhCarnage is making use of the release of Cyberpunk 2077. He has already spent 102 hours with the game and maintains an average of 18,963 viewers. The niche streamer is even in the game himself.
It seems there are three types of streamers for Cyberpunk 2077:
Some streamers who specialize in RPGs, like CohhCarnage or Fextralife, really play a lot of Cyberpunk 2077 – and benefit greatly from it. They are at 100 hours in 14 days
Mainstream streamers like xQc or Pokimane only check out Cyberpunk 2077 for a relatively short period and fully embraced the release hype – they had about 10 hours in 14 days. The biggest German Twitch streamer MontanaBlack played it for just 2 hours.
Big shooter-oriented Twitch streamers like shroud (42 hours), LIRIK (41 hours), or DrLupo (36 hours) seem to have found a middle ground and are doing well with it.
CohhCarnage is one of the big winners of Cyberpunk 2077 on Twitch.
Cyberpunk 2077 dominates Twitch, but only for 2 days
How is Cyberpunk 2077 performing overall on Twitch: The game sparked a huge hype at release and reached peak numbers of over one million simultaneous viewers, especially on the first day. The second day was still strong, but then the curve dropped significantly.
Over the weekend, Cyberpunk 2077 only had about 71,000 viewers on average.
High peak at release, but by day 4, the air is gone. (Source: Sullygnome)
It is hard to compare Cyberpunk 2077 with other games:
The similarly large game “Red Dead Redemption 2” had a much lower peak at launch in October 2018 (382,000), but maintained a much higher average level for a longer time before the numbers crashed.
The numbers for Cyberpunk 2077 suggest that the game could only generate significant hype at release, but then quickly cooled off and probably won’t play a major role on Twitch in the future:
In the last 14 days, Cyberpunk 2077 is in 2nd place with an average of 167,448 viewers
In the last 7 days, Cyberpunk 2077 is in 5th place with an average of 123,711 viewers
In the last 3 days, Cyberpunk 2077 is in 11th place with an average of 71,088 viewers
Cyberpunk 2077 sought closeness to Twitch and influencers. Some German streamers and YouTubers even made it into the game. A list of 7 internet celebrities that you can meet in Cyberpunk in one way or another can be found here:
In Call of Duty: Warzone there is currently confusion about a possible nerf of the shotgun R9-0. A developer announced the nerf but then quickly backtracked.
This is what happened: On Twitter, Amos Hodge, the Creative Director of Raven Software, reported that the maximum damage of the R9-0 shotgun was reduced. According to Hodge, this was supposed to be in the patch notes, but it slipped through.
Shortly thereafter, however, the developer deleted the tweet, causing a lot of confusion. Has the shotgun been nerfed now?

The deleted tweet from Hodge was shared by players on Twitter
Was the R9-0 secretly nerfed?
What about the nerf now? There is no official confirmation at the moment. In various forums, numerous players are writing that the shotgun is still incredibly powerful and that the nerf is not really felt. It might actually have been a mistaken tweet from Amos Hodge.
However, it speaks against this that Amos Hodge was directly involved in the patch that was supposed to have brought the nerf. He must have had some reason for that tweet. Many players are holding on to this hope, wishing that the nearly overpowered R9-0 finally gets a nerf.
In combination with this ammunition, the shotgun wipes everything out in close combat and is loved and hated by players. No other weapon is as powerful as the R9-0 up to 8.5 meters.
What could happen next? Now we have to wait for an official announcement from the developers. The nerf may have already been implemented or is expected to occur in the near future.
Currently, the R9-0 still counts among the best weapons in Warzone. You can see which weapons are included here:
The medieval MMO Life is Feudal is closing. The reason for this is a lawsuit that cannot be pursued due to a lack of financial resources. The survival game was supposed to make a fresh start in 2020 and planned another update for the combat system.
What kind of game is this? Life is Feudal is a medieval MMO that focuses on the sandbox aspect. Your task is to survive in the harsh world. To do this, you gather resources, craft tools and weapons, can build structures, and attack other players in PvP.
Why is it closing now? The developers explained that there is a lawsuit with a publisher that was newly established in 2016 and was supposed to distribute the MMO as Life is Feudal.
This company, however, is said to have done a poor job, which is why the developers of Bitbox then marketed themselves. There seems to have still been a contract with the publisher. This company is said to have offered a new deal in 2020.
After the developers rejected this, the publisher is said to have refused to share their revenue from Life is Feudal. The financial pressure is said to have now led to the game’s shutdown.

When is Life is Feudal closing? The servers will close on January 18, 2021. However, only the MMO is affected by the changes. The standalone version – Life is Feudal: Your Own – will remain.
Are there refunds? All items purchased since November 1, including currency for real money or the premium account, will be refunded by the developers via Xsolla.
In the FAQ regarding the shutdown, the developers also explained that there will still be an update.
One last update and rule changes
What else is happening with Life is Feudal? The developers originally planned a larger update that would significantly overhaul the combat system. Adjustments to armor, weapons, and mounts were planned.
This update is now supposed to be released in an unfinished version so that players can have a modified gaming experience one last time. Only the planned server wipe with the update will not happen.
Rule changes: Additionally, the developers allow breaking rules during the last weeks in the game. Those who wish can use movable objects to gain access to enemy fortifications.
Until the shutdown, players should still have a lot of fun with the MMO.
Why does the end come as a surprise? For the year 2020, the developers of Life is Feudal had a lot planned. On April 17, the Godenland update was released, which came with some adjustments, including:
A revision of the rules in the world. These were intended to be fairer
The second major update was supposed to bring additional features.
Temporary upturn: The Godenland update actually brought some players back. In April, there were 2,941 players online simultaneously – the highest number since March 2019.

However, the upturn was only short-lived. November 2020 was the worst month since the release of the game. Anyone who wants to take another look at the game before shutdown can do so on Steam. It is free to play.

In Destiny 2, the iconic weapons like Fatebringer return with the Vault of Glass. Bungie has now spoken for the first time about the modernization.
What’s coming “new” to Destiny 2: The MMO shooter will be richer by a raid in 2021. Specifically, the Vault of Glass from Destiny 1. Players have known and loved the Vex-infested labyrinths since 2014.
Six years have passed by now, and the original raid enjoys such a cult status that even today joyful tears and pleasant memories arise in the Guardian when they hear about Atheon or weapons like Fatebringer.
For many players, it was their first raid ever, a very special adventure that is now supposed to celebrate its return in Destiny 2. Bungie has now revealed details for the first time about what Guardians can expect in the “new” Vault of Glass and what will happen to the iconic weapons of that time.
Vault of Glass gets a facelift because you are too strong
Therefore, the raid team faces the challenge of modernizing the Vault of Glass. Blackburn stated that the raid will change and will be “challenging like it was back then […] but we do not want to go so far as to change the raid in such a way that it feels like a different raid”.
What the changes will look like exactly, we do not know yet. Luke Smith indicated, for example, that we might find Champions in the familiar encounters. Nevertheless, the old strategies should still work today – more or less.
In short: The “soul” of the Vault of Glass should remain, you should still be able to say, “oh, this is the Templar phase and the Oracles are coming soon.” But the most famous raid from Destiny is getting a facelift that still leaves it recognizable.
You will surely travel through the timelines with the relic in Destiny 2
By the way, Blackburn has not yet mentioned an exact release date. Speculations currently suggest Season 14 as the return for the Vault of Glass. That would be in early summer 2021, but that is just speculation.
Soon you will hunt the legendary Fatebringer in Destiny 2
Here is the good news: Blackburn confirmed that the cult weapons are returning: “You cannot bring Vault of Glass back without the weapons that feel like Vault of Glass, right?”.
He further noted that the guns should feel in the hands of veterans like before. But there are some adjustments and modernizations, especially regarding the perk pool.
No one is trying to create a Found Verdict or a Fatebringer that feels radically different from the original Fatebringer. Because then it feels like we are lying to the players, right? […] Everyone knows what the recoil on that weapon is. Everyone knows what perks they wanted.
The Fatebringer was THE legendary hand cannon from Destiny 1
This is why the raid weapons were so special: A large part of the nostalgic memories about the Vault of Glass comes from the raid weapons. The guns are still anchored in the minds of the Guardians – they were the reason the activity was played so often.
The reason is simple: The guns were very rewarding. Until then, Guardians had not seen such good weapons. Here, the loot spiral worked perfectly. As a reward for the hard raid phase, there was a weapon that everyone who was not raiding envied.
Here you can view all the loot from 2014 with perks and detailed descriptions:
Which weapons are returning? It is not guaranteed that all 10 weapons from back then will return. Blackburn speaks of “I would expect that favorites return”. He specifically mentions the shotgun (Found Verdict) and the hand cannon (Fatebringer) in the interview.
We strongly assume that more weapons will join. For many, the exotic Vex Mythoclast is simply part of the raid and the “Vault of Glass” feeling – and Bungie surely knows this too.
The Vex Mythoclast was the Holy Grail in the early days of Destiny
In 2017, Bungie last celebrated the coveted classics in Destiny 1 during the Moments of Triumph.
What memories do you associate with the Vault of Glass? Do you think it makes sense for the raid to be adjusted to the changed conditions of Destiny 2, or did you wish for a 1:1 copy? If not all 10 weapons should return, which gun must absolutely be there – let us know in the comments.
A new MMORPG called Myth of Empires has been announced, which is set to be released on Steam.
What is Myth of Empires? The MMORPG places you in 3rd century China at the beginning of the Han Dynasty. You start as a nobody, but you can slowly rise to become a respected figure in the land and maybe even take the emperor’s place.

You must survive in the world, searching for food like in a survival game and crafting equipment from resources.
You can build your own buildings and forts.
It is possible to recruit NPCs who then work for you or whom you train into soldiers for an army.
Cooperate with other players to wage war against other guilds.
You participate in massive siege battles.
It is possible to conquer and control lands.
Diplomacy is also important. For example, you can obtain essential goods through trade.

What is special about Myth of Empires? Horses are extremely important. They not only get you from point A to B faster, but it is also possible to fight from the animals.
You can also breed and train horses. Horses are necessary for battles, as mounted combat is the focus. However, you must also equip your army with good horses.
Horses are also intended to become a kind of companion and partner.
What do you have to give up? The MMORPG Myth of Empires does not take place in a fantasy world. Consequently, there are no dragons, orcs, elves, or magic. This is how the game aims to distinguish itself from other MMORPGs that often rely on fantasy elements.
Instead, you fight against wild animals, bandits, and other players.
When does the MMORPG launch? Currently, there is no release date yet. However, it is expected to be released as an Early Access title on Steam at an unspecified time.
A beta is also planned, for which you can register on the official website. However, the beta also does not have a start date yet. Should you be selected for the testing phase, you will receive an email with further instructions.
How is the game funded? The developers explain that they want to finish the game itself before discussing the monetization system. Therefore, it is still unclear whether we can expect a free-to-play, buy-to-play game, or a title with a subscription.
On December 23, FIFA 21 will release TOTW 13 (Team of the Week). On MeinMMO, you can find out who could secure a spot in the next TOTW. Robert Lewandowski and Cristiano Ronaldo are highly favored.
What is the Team of the Week? EA Sports assembles a new TOTW each week. This team consists of 23 players who have shown strong performances over the past week.
For this, they receive a spot in the Team of the Week as well as improved Inform cards, which can then be found in packs for one week.
What are TOTW Predictions? The predictions for the Team of the Week are community forecasts. FIFA experts try to guess which players will be selected for the next TOTW based on their good performances.
Surprisingly often, the predictions hit the mark and many players are correctly predicted. However, the predictions are not guaranteed.
Additionally, you can wonderfully use the predictions to earn some coins in FUT 21. Here, we reveal how it works:
Robert Lewandowski: The newly crowned World Footballer could receive his second Inform card in FUT 21 this week. With his 2 goals in the top match against Bayer Leverkusen, he is the perfect candidate for a spot in the Team of the Week.
This is what a new Inform card from Lewandowski might look like
Lars Stindl: In the 3:3 draw against Eintracht Frankfurt, Stindl scored all 3 goals for Borussia Mönchengladbach. With this hat-trick, he has definitely earned a spot in TOTW 13.
Jeffrey Gouweleeuw: The defender from FC Augsburg had a strong game and scored the decisive 1:0 against Arminia Bielefeld. Whether he will receive his first TOTW card is something we will find out on Wednesday.
Timo Horn: The keeper from 1. FC Köln shined with several saves and kept his goal clean against RB Leipzig. For this performance, he could very well be rewarded with a spot in the Team of the Week.
The WoW developers are asking again about “The Burning Crusade Classic” – with some initial plans also becoming apparent.
For a long time, the community of WoW Classic has speculated that Blizzard will soon discuss the release of the first expansion “The Burning Crusade”. After all, there was already a survey about this addon. Now a second survey has been sent to selected players showing new, interesting ideas. Because how should a “The Burning Crusade Classic” look best?
What kind of survey is this? In the WoW subreddit, the user NEM-Furious has published some screenshots of the survey he received. Other players also report that they were able to participate in this survey. While many questions revolve around the current WoW Classic and aim to gather information about the report system or the fun of the game, there are also a few questions about a potential “The Burning Crusade Classic”. For example, Blizzard wants to know:
How interested players would be in “The Burning Crusade Classic”
How likely they would play “The Burning Crusade Classic”
New surveys want to know how players feel about BC.
What else was asked? Interesting are also some of the other questions. It seems that Blizzard is considering some “Fresh Start” realms. These would be Classic realms that essentially start from day 1 of WoW Classic and unlock content gradually – starting only with raids like Onyxia and Molten Core. On such a “Fresh Start” realm, content would then be unlocked in a similar way to how it was for the other Classic realms.
Starting again with Burning Crusade? Many would probably like that.
Is “The Burning Crusade Classic” coming? Even though there is still no official confirmation for it, it seems very likely. The question will not be whether a BC Classic will come, but rather how. Therefore, Blizzard is probably also sending out the surveys to already plan how the release of the “new old” expansion could look. BC fans can expect a release in 2021 – and a year or two later, the fans of “Wrath of the Lich King” can also look forward to this Classic experience…
Are you looking forward to more expansions for WoW Classic? Or should the Vanilla version not be touched anymore?
