What is the problem with the Puppet? The fight against the Puppet requires some coordination, as there are 5 lanes that players must defend during the fight. Each lane requires at least 5 and ideally 10 players, so a squad of 25 to 50 players is recommended.
The easiest way to find a group tackling the Puppet is currently through the LFG tool. However, you should be aware that the fight will not be that easy.
How to start the fight against the Puppet: To start the fight against the new boss, you need to travel to the area Eye of the North – Waypoint [&BAkMAAA=]. There, you run to Aurene and speak with the Spying Pool.
Here you can enter the fight against the Twisted Puppet either in a public version (always at the odd hour and only during the event) or with a private squad.

In the following, I will explain to you what phases are in the boss fight and what you need to pay attention to. You can learn more about the background of the Puppet in our interview with lead designer Joe Kimmes:
During most of the fight, you will be in the laning phase. In this phase, you need to defend your lane and prevent enemies from crossing through the portal.
Every mob that makes it through the portal charges the Aether Cannon a little more. A failure in the fights on the boss platforms also charges the cannon further. If the Aether Cannon is full, you lose the boss fight.
To prevent enemies from reaching the portal, you can use CC, kill them, and build barricades that make it more difficult for them to pass through the lane. Your focus should mainly be on killing the champions.

The Boss Phase
The phase that is really interesting is the so-called boss phase. While the other 4 lanes continue to fight the incoming mobs, one lane may enter the 5 boss platforms through a portal, with the landing being random. During this time, the lane will also not be attacked by mobs.
Each of the five platforms has a different boss and a different mechanic. However, the following applies to all bosses:
Avoid standing in AoE fields
Use CC abilities
Try to deal as much damage as possible – because you have only 2 minutes for the kill
Once your boss is defeated, you will receive an ability in the Special Action Key. You should activate it, as it gives a blessing to the other players who are currently fighting the bosses and revives them from the downstate
If all 5 platforms manage to defeat their boss, the Puppet loses a chain. If the Puppet loses all 5 chains, the fight is won.
The Various Boss Mechanics
Regulator Watch I:
This boss only takes damage when you attack him from the side or from behind
He also regularly summons other mobs to help him
The player with the aggro should therefore stay in front of him so that other players can attack him from different positions.
You can also break his break bar with CC to stun him temporarily and get behind him.
Regulator Watch II:
This boss spins deadlily and is invulnerable during that time
You have to pull him over mines that appear on his platform to stun him and make him vulnerable
Regulator Watch III:
This boss relies heavily on AoE effects that you should definitely avoid
However, he is otherwise quite slow and can be easily kited by ranged attackers
Regulator Watch IV:
This boss relies on flying projectiles that you can evade by kiting
However, the boss also uses AoE abilities, so you need to be careful while kiting
Regulator Watch V:
This boss targets a player and then charges at them. You should evade this charge
If you defeat the boss, it splits into 2 weaker versions. These 2 versions further split into 2 additional weaker versions of the boss. All smaller versions also use the charge
However, you can control the smaller bosses with CC as they do not have a break bar
Also, there are AoE effects here that you must evade
General Tips for the Puppet
In addition to the explanations about the lanes and the different bosses, there are also a few general tips you should know for the fight:
Whenever a lane has fought against the bosses, it has a 7-minute debuff. This prevents them from going to a boss platform again. However, players from lanes 1 and 2 can theoretically help lanes 4 and 5 when they are allowed on the boss platforms.
To hold a lane, you actually only need 3 to 5 good players. In a squad of 50 people, you have a large number of players who can theoretically rotate between the lanes.
There is a special potion as buff food that increases your damage against Scarlet’s creatures by 10% and reduces incoming damage by 10%. All enemies in this boss fight are creatures of Scarlet. It is called “Powerful Potion of the Annihilation of Scarlet’s Army”.
What achievements are there? With the return of the event, some old achievements from Living World Season 1 and some completely new achievements can be completed.
The highlight is the achievement “Origins of Madness Completer”. It rewards you with 50 achievement points and the Gift of the Clockwork, which gives you a node for your home instance. For this achievement, you need to complete 11 sub-achievements of the category.
For the sub-achievements, you need to participate in defense events, defeat each Regulator Watch, avoid certain attacks, and celebrate the victory over the Puppet (with the achievement /cheer).
The Puppet brings old and new achievements with it.
However, in the category “Revenge of the Puppet” there are also new achievements, through which you can again get an ascended ring with power, precision, and healing power in the stats.
As loot, there are also 2 gold, karma, and various equipment items, as well as several rewards that come from achievements.
Developer DICE is currently working on comprehensive crossplay features for the new shooter Battlefield 2042. However, it seems that a change to the schedule is necessary to implement these.
What’s it about? In a new blog post, the developers of Battlefield 2042 confirm that they want to integrate crossplay features into the game.
Therefore, they have decided to move the technical gameplay test to late summer and, as part of this test, to thoroughly examine the crossplay functionality. The gameplay test was originally scheduled for July 2021.

These platforms will get crossplay: Basically, according to the announcement, two separate environments are apparently planned that can play together.

How widespread is Joycon Drift? There have been numerous users on reddit complaining about problematic Joycons for a long time. One user claims, for example, that he can walk across half his island in Animal Crossing without touching the Joycons (via reddit.com). All we can do is hope that the problem does not occur in a potential Nintendo Switch Pro.

Remove battery
In the next step, you need to detach the battery from the Joycon. The battery is attached to the mainboard with a small clip. Once you have released the clip, you can lift the battery out.
Remove the battery holder
In another step, you detach the plastic holder in which the battery is mounted. You need to be careful not to damage the small cable. Once you have lifted the part off, you can unclip the cable of the plastic part.
Place paper on the Joycon
Now you see a small metallic surface about the size of a thumb in front of you. You place a thumb-sized piece of paper on it.
Screw the Joycon back together
Then you screw your Joycon back together. Make sure you reconnect all cables and don’t forget any screws.
The trick helps the Joycon regain its grip
Why should this work? Inside the controller, the controller loses contact with the pad due to wear and tear. The paper fills this gap and restores the pressure. The Joycon only needs a bit of support to get back to doing its job properly.

Data miner says: It’s all over again

These preparations you should make for the GO Fest 2021
The Pokémon GO Fest 2021 offers you a full 16 hours of content. Niantic has thematically divided both event days. Saturday focuses on catching Pokémon, and Sunday is all about the legendary Level 5 raids.
To be well-prepared for this event, we have put together some tips on how you can get ready.
Collect Poké Balls
The most important tip is to collect balls, as you will need them for catching during the GO Fest 2021. Especially on Saturday, July 17, you will need a lot of them. If you want to play actively all day, you should aim to gather around 1,000 balls.
It makes sense to focus on Ultra Balls and Great Balls, as you can catch high CP Pokémon more easily with them. To gather enough balls in advance, you can regularly spin PokéStops and Gyms. Additionally, you should open gifts from your friends daily.
Collect as many Poké Balls as possible
However, even during the event, you must continue to collect Poké Balls. To maintain your Poké Ball supply during the GO Fest, you should also regularly spin PokéStops and Gyms or open packages from friends.
Keep in mind when opening packages during the event the global challenges that will exist. Last year, the gifts were part of the global challenge and should only be opened later.
Whether one of the tasks this year relates to gifts is not yet known. However, we will inform you on MeinMMO as soon as there is new information about it.
Also, on Sunday, you will surely catch one or another Pokémon. However, raids are the focus of that day. If you plan to primarily participate in raids on that day, you only need a small supply of balls. We recommend about 250 – 350 balls. If you want to catch more, you should, of course, have more balls.
Create space for important items
In addition to balls, there are other important items this year that you should definitely have enough of in your item bag. The following items are especially needed for the raids on Sunday:
Remote Raid Passes & Premium Raid Passes
Revives (preferably Max Revives)
Potions (preferably Max Potions)
Golden Razz Berries
Sananaberries
Especially the raid passes are crucial for participating in the legendary raids. So, make sure to keep any existing Remote and Premium Raid Passes. Through bonuses for the event, you can also receive up to 21 free raid passes if you have a ticket. Depending on how large your raid group is and how strong your battle team is, you should also have enough revives and potions available.
You will need these items too
The Golden Razz Berries help you catch the legendary Pokémon. If you encounter a shiny specimen, it’s worth using a Sananaberry. These monsters usually stay in the ball on the first throw, so you should definitely take the double candies.
All other items are generally not needed during the event, so you should thoroughly tidy up your item bag in advance. Also, keep in mind that during the weekend, you will receive additional items through rewards and by spinning PokéStops and Gyms. So plan for a buffer so you don’t have to sort things out right away.
Clean out your Pokémon box
Not only items need space during this event weekend, but especially the Pokémon you want to catch. To avoid constantly evaluating and sending away your monsters, you should also create enough space in your Pokémon storage beforehand.
We recommend having at least 500 free slots in your Pokémon box. This gives you a good foundation to catch in the first hours without space issues. To sort your monsters by strength as quickly as possible, you should use this search function: 0*, 1*, 2*

This search function is already available as a pre-defined search criterion in your Pokémon box search mask. Through it, all Pokémon that have a maximum of two stars in evaluation will be displayed. If you complement this search criterion with the search term “Age0”, then only Pokémon that are not a day old will be shown.
Plan a route
If you want to use the GO Fest effectively, you should play where there are many spawns and raids. So, before the event, find a suitable location in your area where there will be plenty of Pokémon. Pay attention to having enough PokéStops and Gyms along the route during your planning.
We recommend choosing a route that you already know. Then you won’t waste time getting oriented on-site during the event. If you participate in one of the live events for the GO Fest, you should also inform yourself in advance about the local conditions and the hygiene measures in place due to the corona pandemic.
Prepare for the raids
Plan raids in advance: The second event day revolves around legendary raids. Therefore, you will have the opportunity to do many of them that day. So think about which raid bosses you want to fight beforehand.
Also, consider which counters are most effective against each legendary Pokémon. It’s best to assemble your suitable teams for battle right now and power up your monsters accordingly. It might be beneficial to teach some attackers a different move as well.

Seek support for raids: However, you cannot defeat a legendary Pokémon alone. So, before the GO Fest, seek out a few other trainers who can assist you with the raids on that day.
Keep in mind that you will defeat a raid boss faster with a larger group and by using the right counters against the respective Pokémon. This way, you can also achieve more raids during the event. Look for a place with many Gyms to fully utilize your raid passes.
Also, contact your friends abroad about the regional raids, as you can only catch three monsters in their respective regions. With the help of Remote Raid Passes, you can be invited to their raids or invite other trainers to your raids.
Attention: Always observe the current contact restrictions in place during the GO Fest. These may vary by region, so make sure to inform yourself in advance. Also, maintain sufficient distance from other trainers.
Ensure functional technology
To be able to play at the GO Fest, you naturally also need functional technology. We recommend having a portable charger and a charging cable, in addition to your smartphone. Charge the power bank and your smartphone the night before and have everything ready.
If you want to play all day, make sure to have enough drinks and some food. This way, you won’t have to look for a snack or store to buy something on-site.
